Sejong City, Chungcheongdo Province, Korea. My brother lives near Sejong City. It is very nice. I am surprised by Chungcheongdo City's apartments, it had so many clouds hanging over each building and unlike anything I've ever seen in Seoul or NYC, and inside buildings are very modern and high-tech with pastry shops and a public bus system which is really good because it is cheap and the bus was so cool, it was better than driving one's own car and their spaces are larger than those belonging to Seoul's residents. I really enjoyed Chungcheongdo province my last trip visiting of my family, who for the most part all live in Gangnam, except my brother who resides in Cheongju because he lost his business when the IMF incident happened, so he went to Chungcheongdo province. Chungcheongdo pastries are very famous throughout Korea. The coffee and pastries made me happy, ans I refused to go up to Seoul because I felt that Chungcheongdo province had everything anyway lol. They made a pastry drama, and that was a huge sensation story in Korea--King pastry with Takgu Kim, and he lived Chungcheongdo province. From Seoul to Sejong City it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes by Bus and by fast train about 40 minutes(?) I'm not sure, but less than an hour ♡

If not 100% of the time then 99.2% of the time I actively watch dramas only for the girl... I don’t care about the male lead because men are all the same to me in dramas. so I try to watch all the dramas that my favorite actresses star in but I think the only men I’ve watched a drama for was probably... yoon siyoon? for baking king kim takgu and your honor. those are two dramas that I watched and finished and enjoyed. I’m trying to think of another man I’ve watched a drama for solely out of love for him only and there’s literally none, other than ding yuxi right now. Learn Korean Language through Music, Drama, and Others

Currently, Korean culture, including k-pop music and Korean dramas, is growing rapidly and expanding globally in the last two decades. Indonesian people from various circles tend to accept its existence, resulting in the "Korean Wave" phenomenon.

First of all, I started to be interested in k-pop music and watching Korean dramas since the 5th grade of elementary school. The first time I listened to k-pop music, frankly a bit strange with the language and accent spoken by the singer. I prefer English and Indonesian music which are very familiar to my ears, as well as movies and soap operas. Maybe because English and Indonesian are often heard around us.

My interest in k-pop started when my cousin showed IU's music video “Good Day”, and because of repeated viewings I finally started to like the music even though I wasn't fully interested in the language. My cousin keeps poisoning me into liking the music by showing other kpop music videos like Super Junior - Mr. Simple, Girls' Generation (SNSD) – Gee, 2pm – Hands Up, and many more. Finally, I prefer k-pop music compared to English and Indonesian music.

The love for k-pop music has an impact on the love for Korean dramas which have started to be broadcast on various Indonesian television channels. The first Korean drama I watched was Dong Yi. I was so interested in the drama, I continued to watch Korean dramas such as Dream High, Bread, Love and Dreams or what we usually know as King of Baking Kim Takgu, Dream High 2, Playful Kiss, and many others.

Besides that, I also read Korean comics (webtoons) such as True Beauty (The Secret of Angel), Business Proposal, The First Night with the Duke (I Stole The Male Lead's First Night), and others. And watching variety shows including “Running Man” also helped me learn Korean language.

Without me knowing it, slowly I understand Korean language. Here are the tips I use to learn Korean language further without going through a course:

1. Listen to Korean music regularly, because music is a very influential aspect in learning Korean language. Simple song lyrics without realizing it will be understood and pronounced easily.

2. Watch Korean dramas by paying attention to the dialogues spoken by the drama players and comparing the dialogues with Indonesian texts that are always available in drama shows.

3. Pay attention to the characters played in the drama. The characters influence the roles and dialogues spoken by the actors/actresses.

4. Memorize the words in the drama dialogue or song lyrics. Start with simple words, and words that are used every day. In order to increase the vocabulary, every day there must be an increase in the number of words that are memorized.

5. Continuously pronounce the words that have been memorized in point 4, so that without realizing it our tongue will get used to the pronunciation of the language.

6. Learn to make sentences that may be different from sentence patterns in English and Indonesian. Learning to make sentences can be through books and Youtube.

7. Practice conversation with our friends or relatives who like Korean language. This method will increase the vocabulary or sentences you have.

8. Don't be afraid or hesitate to say the wrong word or sentence, because Korean is not our national language.

By following the guide above, finally little by little I began to understand and be able to speak Korean language.

it’s ridiculous and makjang and all the parents in it are the WORST but i’m really enjoying bread, love and dreams aka king of baking because it contains 3 of my favourite things.....yoon siyoon, joo won and bread

there was a short duration I think nearing when siyoon first joined 1n2d where I was obsessed with him..... I really admired him and thought he was so fun and carefree and I went back to watch kim takgu and I loved him even more. so in my heart there is always a place for siyoon. I just liked the fact that to an extent he tried staying true to himself on 1n2d despite being calling unfunny and boring. so for that period of time I was scared people would start hating him because he was deviating farther from his actor image but he loves 1n2d, and he loves being on the show. he works so hard outside variety on his dramas and has been open about how the success of kim takgu was both a blessing and hinderance to his future because now everyone expects his dramas to be popular. some of them aren’t, but he loves being an actor and considers being on 1n2d a way to forget about his accumulating stress. obviously if you compare him directly to any member on 1n2d he’s not gonna be as funny but when he’s alone as an actor you can tell he’s grown more confident in talking and making jokes and being silly. I think he’s doing a good job.
