“Stereotypical-First” Type of Guy

This man is an absolute sucker for romance. It’s obvious that he actually cares and that first date won’t certainly be the last. It all started off as jokes & teasing, until you two developed feelings. So, now you’re sitting with him on a picnic blanket in a secluded part of the beach and it’s around 6 in the evening. He got you a bouquet of your favorite flowers, an item you really like [books, art materials, etc.], and prepared the scene the two of you were sat at. Theres a picnic basket on the blanket, various seashells you two collected all around you two, some petals he placed in advance to set the scene— It was straight out of a movie. He lit up a candle with one of the scents you’ve mentioned was your favorite and it’s safe to say his efforts paid off. Eventually, you two went on a stroll after having a little dinner. You went around the beach and reached the ocean shore— which escalated in an innocent water fight. You guys splashed one another with water and laughed. This guy has good aim so you were really soaked while he was still mostly dry… So he made it an opportunity to give you his jacket/coat, since you were wearing a not so thick dress and got soaked in cold water.

“You’re the only girl i’ve ever brought to this place” Type of Guy

You’ve known this guy for years, maybe even a decade. Which is why he brought you to a place he holds close to his heart, some place he wouldn’t take anyone else whose just a fling or doesn’t matter to him to that extent. He informs the owner of the place in advance of the special someone he’s bringing to have dinner. Even the owner is shocked, as he became close friends over the years with this person— and knowing him almost as well as you do (to a certain extent), the thought of him bringing someone over, especially a girl, never would have crossed his mind in his entire life. Which is why he made sure to make everything extra special that night, not wanting to disappoint you and this guy. This guy specifically tells you that this is his favorite place, and he’s brought a very close guy friend of his or two, but has never even mentioned it to a girl. This small and cozy place is hidden in a secluded area, so you two had a romantic night. It ended with him taking you back to your place and a good night kiss. It felt surreal considering you’ve been just friends for so long who has actually had feelings for each other but never admitted until just recently, which led to this first date.

“Simple & Sincere Since The Beginning” Type of Guy

This guy is simple and you stayed for that. Ever since you first met him, it was already made clear that he wasn’t the type of guy to be so outgoing and extra. He likes simple and innocent activities that you two do because it puts a smile on your face, and anything that makes you happy, makes him even happier. And knowing how much you love movies, he decided he’d go ahead and prepare the movie you’ve been dying to see for so long, so that the two of you could watch it at his place. It was just you and him, nobody else, sat down together with various snacks that he noticed you love. It didn’t matter to him what movie it was— comedy, adventure, horror, or even romance, what mattered to him was your enjoyment that night. From sneaking his arm around your waist to cuddling without you even noticing, this guy is smooth and he made good use of it. Your first date lasted for hours because you fell asleep in his arms, to which he didn’t wake you—instead, slept along with you. Some would say that it’s weird to already cuddle and fall asleep together on the first date, but you’ve been so close to this guy for so long that it’s almost as if its just another day.

“Flaunt You With His Money” Type of Guy

This guy is rich, he’s filthy rich. As expected from these kinds of guys, your first date is at a classy restaurant that you can’t even pronounce the name of. He picks you up from your house in one of his cars, which he made sure to choose your favorite color & the car you seemed most comfortable in. But he also made sure to choose something flashy, so that you wouldn’t be thinking of any of the other cars he owns. He’s dressed up in a suit, and this guy has plenty of them. His hair is fixed for the occasion and his fragrance is one you can’t forget because of how good it smells, but it isn’t too strong so that it won’t get to your head. He picks you up in the evening, around five. He goes up to your doorstep with a large bouquet of your favorite flowers and chocolates he knows are your favorites. He patiently waited at your door while you were putting the flowers in a vase with water, and the gifts in the refrigerator / on the counter, (because chocolates wasn’t the only gift he brought you). He made sure to be even more of a gentleman than he already is to you, opening the door for you, pulling the chair for you to sit on. And because you’re wearing a dress with little to no sleeves, he gave you his coat.

Jake, the ever so extroverted one could only laugh so timidly just to hide the stutters of his words, cringing underneath but still holds enough bravery to shoot you a pick-up line

"Hey miss, you single? 'Cuz I'm available~"

The subsequent eye roll received from Samuel couldn't stop you from showing a meek laughter, blushing softly from Jake's words. The sight of you flustered was a sight for sore eyes, can't you see the way they stare at you like you're a breath of fresh air? You're completely the apple of their eyes since then, just you.

Often times, when the wind becomes too cold, you could hear the footsteps of Samuel, stoic eyes eyeing you below and from the immense hold of his eye contact, you only now noticed his black blazer has been hovered over your shoulders, enveloping you like a blanket

"I suggest you start checking the weather before you go, otherwise you would've been freezing to death if I wasn't here... You dummy."

masked by the blunt words of his choosing, he isn't very well at hiding his care for you, he showed it far too many times than he intended that you can only chuckle at his words before you open your arms to embrace him as a sign of gratitude

gosh, what have you done to him? You've raised the stakes of his beating heart and in turn makes you the culprit of all the feelings sprawled all over his mind: giddy, shy, smitten...

His hand reaches for something to hold, like the back of your head, and your lower back as well, moving you closer to his body. Can you feel the warmth he's emitting? He doesn't usually feel this hot around the people who surround him at bars or clubs, he could only ever brush away their flirty remarks with no excuse

He isn't afraid to mingle around, nor can he give reasons of being 'taken' because he's not, but what could you be thinking if you see him with another person? Just the thought has him clicking his tongue, quite bitter than he intended it to be

if there was anything stopping him from mingling around, it's you. But it's not like he'll complain, you're the one person he'll choose anytime anyway.

Jake was your ride or die, every minute with him was a rollercoaster beyond any amusement parks he brought you to

all wrapped in his suave personality, he guides you through the flirts and surprises he has in store, ever since the three of you were young, he has expressed his adoration ever so boldly, even now

From the single flower that has been dusted in dirt because he has run into a gang fight, to the bouquet of flowers he had bundled together, each flower being the ones you've liked through the years because--of course--he remembered. From the paper rings he would often create with his notes, to the expensive ring he bought as he casually slips it on your fourth finger, declaring it as a promise of his love

"See, isn't it pretty? It's a promise ring, you know... So that once everything isn't messy anymore, i'll replace that with an engagement ring."

The day the two men drifted apart, it was heartbreaking to see your eyes shining in tears, blinking it away as you feel Jake's finger caressing your cheeks and Samuel's head gently patting your hair behind you

Ever since then, they couldn't to leave you all alone, they've settled their hatred aside and would gladly take care of you together. It was unknown when the three of you established being in a 'poly relationship' but they couldn't care less that they're both sharing you

in all honesty, if there was another man to share you with, Jake was more than happy for it to be Samuel than any other average and boring lad out there. Gladly it was the same for Samuel, he can view Jake as his rival all day long but he's aware he's the best one out of all, someone worthy to share you with

They are your guard dogs when you walk in the middle of them, other people who ogle at you will be earning glares from none other than Samuel himself, his muscular body and face is enough to make them cower away, but no, they have to receive the insults of Jake as well before leaving, hearing the way he laughs at them before his slender fingers finds sanctuary on your waist and Samuel who is holding your hand with his big one

"They're pretty aren't they? Yeah you ain't getting a chance on them, now moving along!"

"Pathetic fuckers..." Samuel mutters, guiding you through the luxurious restaurant as he smacks Jake's head to behave, quite a cute interaction if you ask

Long minutes have passed and for what seemed to be a simple but lavish date has turned into a frenzy once Jake carried you bridal style and exited the restaurant, laughing loudly together when you see Samuel's baffled expression before running after the two of you

It was then you realized that Jake had brought you to a silent park, only now did you notice it was the same park you three would often go to after school, pouting as you would bandage the bruises of the two men after their fights with other gangs, earning the title of being their 'pretty little nurse'

Sitting on the same bench as before, your head rests on Samuel's head as your legs lay comfortable on Jake's lap, merely being nostalgic with the sudden memories from 3 years ago when you three were still so carefree

But they wouldn't change it for anything, Gosh look what the three of you had, you're all still here, and that's all they could ever ask for, to be together.

how easy is it for the crew heads to crush on you? (lookism)

A/N: i was contemplating...pondering...thinking...and i wanted to make a post about it. contains spoilers for the current story!

✦ imagine you don't like them back at this point + you're unaware of how they're feeling :')

1. ELI

out of all of them...he'd fall for you the easiest imo. it wouldn't take a lot 🥹 not much to expand on here, because we've seen it with crystal. (what a time that was)

he realises that he 'liked' crystal because of the reminders about heather, and thinks it's not exactly healthy for either of them. afterwards, he finds himself being drawn to you. not because you remind him of happier times, or someone else, you're just...great on your own.

being good with children + liking them is an (obvious) essential for him. if yenna is having fun with you, you'll have his heart pounding. he just wants someone kind and caring, someone who'll be there for him. you don't have to be the best thing since sliced bread.

because of the whole forgiveness scene with heather's mom, eli would feel less bad about liking you. he starts thinking that maybe he can be happy with someone. that he can feel another person's affection.

he would still feel guilty about heather. because is three years too soon to move on? but i can totally imagine some corny moment where she appears to him in a vision, saying: are you scared i'll be mad or something? don't worry, eli. be honest about how you feel. you deserve to be happy.

and then she walks off into the horizon 😭 it's the exact type of thing ptj would do.

if you love being around yenna, if you're nice to him, if you compliment him for shouldering the responsibilities...you'll have his cheeks red 24/7.

and yes! that doesn't necessarily mean you'd want a relationship with a child present...or that you'd even like him back...but eli decides to take a leap of faith.

2. JAKE

oh brother. he's a little more complex i feel. but yes, i did rank him 2nd 😅

buying him food is a good place to start. he's an absolute foodie. unfortunately, managing big deal's finances means his diet consists of energy drinks + instant noodles.

and if you see his eyes light up at the sight of a sweet treat and decide: maybe i'll do this regularly? well...then he'll take a liking to you. just slightly.

but no, food would obviously not be be enough 😭

jake has many insecurities about his father, and how he gets compared to him all the time. he does not want to be! the man was a hoe. but it is what it is. he's accepted he'll never escape those shackles. he sees it as punishment for getting involved in this life.

he's barely heard anyone praise him for him. sooo, if you genuinely compliment jake kim, not jake kim the leader, or jake kim, the son of gapryong... maybe you think he's funny, or that you love playing word chain with him, or that he's easy to talk to... things he didn't get from his father... he'll start getting tiny butterflies in his stomach.

jake is smooth with his words too! we saw it in the third affiliate. (when he was talking to the girls at the club 🫡) he doesn't have experience in dating, but you'd think he does with the way he talks. and as time goes on, his way with words is a disguise for something deeper.

something small, but i think he's into smart people! not necessarily in the street smart sense - the book smart sense. he admires that, because he was the exact opposite in school. if you're studious and humble about it, he'll find it really attractive.

jake isn't stupid btw, if he likes you, he'll know.

but getting him to like you isn't difficult, getting him to confess is what is. jake is very aware of how his position would impact a relationship. he'll have very little time to spend with you. and...he's not really someone you can bring home to your parents. (surprise mom and dad, i'm dating a gangster!) and for all he's done, he doesn't think he deserves it.

he also wants to keep you safe. aka eugene would use you as leverage 😭

so, he bites his tongue.

also, with jake you have to consider: do you know what he does? what he's done?

if you don't, and just think he has a regular job, then he'll try (and fail) to push you away. when that doesn't work...and he spends more and more time with you...he even thinks about coming clean. maybe you'll accept him and all the bad things he's done for his people. but in the end, he knows it's unrealistic. you wouldn't. because this isn't a romance movie.

if you do, well...that just makes it more clear to him that it's better not to say anything. you've seen what leading a crew is like, how much it takes up his time. it's better for him - and for you.

still, when jake thinks of the people he wants to protect, he can't help but picture your face too.

if this man likes you, it's an angsty ride of longing looks + gentle smiles.

3. JOHAN

johan and jake are interchangeable in rankings...but i just put him 3rd.

firstly, (and most importantly) be a dog person.

similarly to eli, i don't think it would take much. buying food is a nice start. unlike jake though, he's just a starved victorian child 💔

we sorta saw this in one night arc with jace...but do something nice for him, something you don't even think twice about, and he'll have it ingrained in his mind.

he likes generous people with nice smiles.

similarly to jake, he'd be very hesitant to profess any feelings. but for johan, it's because he's shy 😅 he hates the cliché's and confessions that come with relationships.

definitely expresses his feelings through actions first. he does stuff that he thinks will make you smile.

yes, he'd be studying for himself + his mother, but he also wants to see your reaction when he shows you the test he did well on. (he barely passed)

he's the silent protector type! just a cutie patootie tbh 🫰🏽

he's also still getting used to the idea of letting people in, so it's for hard for him to grasp romantic feelings.

but he will confess to you...eventually.

4. SAMUEL

samuel would never like you. his secret dream is making sweet italian love with jake in the big deal RV.

Gun Park - Hat

For the man that could buy pretty much anything, you opted to go for homemade. A personal touch.

Issue is, your personal touch is pretty shitty and shoddy. Gun still accepts the hat with a straight face and heartfelt thanks even as you tell him he doesn't have to wear it.

Why wouldn't I, he thinks. You have spent your time and effort making this for him and he appreciates it. Even if it isn't quite his... taste.

"What is that on your head?" Goo exclaims, torn between bursting into laughter and abject horror at the crimson bobble hat Gun is sporting. Ends of his hair poking out, and the colour highlighting the red of his windswept cheeks and nose.

"Fuck off."

"I think it's cute," Crystal grins as Goo whirls around and screeches.

"Cute?! Gun Park? Have you lost your mind?"

"Like you can say anything with those ridiculous mittens."

"My mittens are not ridiculous!"

Ignoring Crystal and Goo devolving into slinging insults at each other, Kouji glances at Gun and chuckles, opens his mouth to tease-

And is intercepted by a look from Gun, and a warning. "Shut it if you want to live."

Kouji's mouth slams shut.

Goo -  Mittens

"Tasteless," Gun sneers, and Goo kicks his ass for it.

"Tasteless," Kouji sighs, and Goo throws his laptop out the window.

"Tasteless," Crystal laments, and Goo- well. Goo can't exactly do anything. That's his boss's daughter, and nepotism is kinda a thing.

So he snarls, nostrils flaring and calls her tasteless too.

"I. LOVE. THESE!" You screech, high and shrill when you yank the mittens out of the box.

Tasteless huh, Goo thinks smugly as you cover him in kisses, No surprise it's everyone else that has no taste.

Birds of a feather truly flock together where you and Goo are concerned. Birds of a feather will also be able to keep their hands warm with their couples mittens too.

A conjoined monstrous thing, that allows you two to keep holding hands through the bitter Seoul winter. Keeping your fingers intertwined and an objectively OTT display of PDA. That you had to be touching, can't even bear to keep your hands to yourself for a moment, that you would need such an accessory.

Goo thought it was perfect when he laid eyes on it, if the way you two are always attached at the hip is any indication.

You clearly think so too, when Goo unwraps his own gift-

-Delighted and cackling, pulling out the same duplicate mittens.

Ryuhei Kuroda - Card

"Y/N!" Ryuhei calls you from down the hallway, waving enthusiastically before striding over.

"Here," he grins, handing over a card, "Happy Holidays. Hope you like it!"

The card sits on your desk. It's somewhere between cringe and cheesy, and utterly charming.

On the front is a (badly) hand drawn picture of you and Ryuhei, signed with his signature in the corner. Inside, a couple lines of explicit filth accompanied with sickeningly sweet declarations and too many hearts and kisses to count.

You blame it on the festive period. That's the reason you're feeling so soppy and sentimental, why every time you look at the crappy drawing you can't help but smile.

Ryuhei blinks, eyebrows shooting up to his hairline, "You kept it?"

"Yeah," you peer at the card in your periphery, "I like it."

"You like it? Really?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

You hear Ryuhei mumbling something about how someone (no prizes for guessing who) would always just dump them in the trash without opening.

"...And they weren't even lewd," he sighs, then perks up, any gloominess dissipating and eyes practically sparkling, "But that's all in the past."

Absolutely delighted, Ryuhei leans over your desk, practically lying across it, and punctuates each word with a kiss, "You!” MWAH “Like!” MWAH “It!” MWAH

"Yeah," you smile fondly at your idiot, cupping his face, "I like you too."

Jake Kim - Gifts

Jake shrugs off his jacket and loosens his tie. It's been a long day. Actually, it's just been a long goddamn year.

He runs his fingers through his hair, ready to jump in the shower and straight to bed when-

Gift bags and presents cover his coffee table and a 'DO NOT OPEN! IT'S NOT FOR YOU!' sign catches his eye.

Huh. That is undoubtedly your scrawl, but if they're not gifts for him then...? He fires off a quick text.

Jake: hey, did you leave some presents at mine?

Y/N: yeah!

Y/N: i did some shopping and grabbed some stuff for your big deal boys

Y/N: and lua ofc

Jake, jaw dropping open at your thoughtfulness: really?

Y/N: yep. sinu and yeonhui too btw.

Jake: are you serious??

Y/N: yeah.. is that not ok?

He’s rendered speechless. And that you might even think that you have overstepped or any such nonsense is ridiculous.

Jake: wow

Jake: it’s more than ok

Jake: you didn’t have to

Jake: i appreciate it.thank you

Y/N: 😁 its just some small bits and pieces. i didn't think you would have time

Y/N: i left some food for you in the fridge too 🥰

His breath hitches and stomach grumbles, your message reminding his body he hasn't had anything since this morning.

Jake starts to type-

I can't believe-

I'm so lucky-

You're too good to-

I don't know what I would do without-

None of them feel right.

In the end he settles for something far simpler.

He dials your number, hears the question in your voice when you pick up.

And pours everything into three words, "I love you."

Vin Jin - Cheonliang

Vin opts for casual and nonchalant, pretends it's something that he thought of rather than something that he has wondered about for the last few weeks.

(Used Mary as a soundboard and she had thought it was a good idea, and if Mary thinks it's a good idea then it definitely is.)

It was a passing thought, at first. A small seed planted and grown until all Vin can think about is how nice the holidays would be with you, how cool it would be to show you where he grew up.

He can't ever escape the awful memories there that still haunt him, but... maybe he can create new memories too.

"If you're not doing anything for the holiday break," Vin keeps his eyes on his phone, scrolling now and then to keep up appearances, "Want to come visit Cheonliang with me?"

The question is casual. Easygoing. Breezy. His voice doesn't crack at the end. He's not holding his breath waiting for your reply. He doesn't desperately wish you would say yes, and hasn’t already planned the days with you in advance.

"Really?"

"Yeah," Vin forces himself to shrug, "Might be nice."

"I would love to!"

Vin takes a peek in your direction, double checks he didn't just hallucinate your agreement or that you're joking.

He didn't, and you're not. All he sees is excitement painted over your face and a wide smile. You know how much this means.

He wraps his arm around your shoulder, a weight lifted from his own. Equally anxious and thrilled to show you every part of himself.

Samuel Seo - Gift

"This would look good on you," Samuel shows you a piece of fine jewellery on his phone. It's exquisite. A bit too much for everyday wear (of course Samuel would pick this out, he himself is a bit too much), though it really is stunning.

You tell him it's beautiful.

He pauses, studies your face, then clicks the screen off. Back to square one. "You don't love it."

It's not accusatory, just a statement. But he feels like he needs to get this right. Your first holiday together and you deserve the world. He wants to get you something, really spoil you, to show how much you mean to him.

You take in Samuel's face and can't help but giggle. Him trying to remain unaffected except for a small, telling pout.

"I would love it if you got it for me," You shuffle over until you're sitting in his lap, "But I don't need it."

He wraps you in his arms, adjusting until you're both comfortable, "What do you need?"

"Nothing," Grinning, "I don't need anything else."

"Fine, then what do you want?"

"You."

Your cheesy response earns an eye roll and a reluctant huff of laughter, "You got me. What else do you want?"

"Nothing," you repeat, leaning in and lifting his glasses off. "You're enough."

You pepper his face with kisses until Samuel melts into a puddle; all thoughts of proving his love with price tags and money completely forgotten.

working for Goo Kim had its perks. money and old friendship were a major ones, but the real fun came from the influence you wielded over his friends. dangerous, powerful men and all were under strict orders to cater to your whims — Goo valued your intel too much to let anyone else mess with you.

Lee Taesung had learned this the hard way when he spent an entire afternoon trailing you around a mall, carrying your shopping bags like some kind of personal valet. his discomfort reached its peak when you dragged him into a lingerie store, enjoying every moment of his mortification as he stood there, visibly uncomfortable, holding up delicate lace with the expression of a man who would rather be anywhere else.

now, it was Cheon Taejin’s turn.

Taejin, unlike Taesung, had a proud, almost regal demeanor. where Taesung would grumble and sulk, Taejin held his tongue, though you could always see the tension simmering beneath the surface.

“where to, boss?” Taejin asked with just enough sarcasm to let you know he didn’t appreciate the nickname as he opened the door of the sleek black car.

“nail salon, Taejin,” you replied, sliding into the backseat with a smirk. “my appointment is in fifteen minutes, so let’s not waste any time.”

he said nothing, just slid into the driver’s seat and pulled into traffic. you watched the world blur by outside the window, your fingers drumming lightly on your thigh as you planned your next move.

while parking the car in the parking lot, Taejin got out of the car, holding the door for you, he casually asked if you would stay long there.

“oh, i might be a while — there’s a new color i want to try.”

“right,” he muttered under his breath, barely loud enough for you to hear. “wouldn’t want to ruin your day.”

you took your time in the salon, chatting with the manicurist as she worked, enjoying latest tea about that one girl drama, who also visits your manicurist. when you finally emerged, nails gleaming a perfect shade of crimson, Taejin was leaning against the car, clutching a cigarette between his teeth.

the nail salon visit was followed by a trip to the hair salon, a boutique, and finally, after you had squeezed every last drop of patience from Taejin, a drive to Goo Kim’s office.

Taejin’s knuckles were practically bone-white as he parked the car, clearly holding onto the last shreds of his composure. before he could say anything, you pushed the car door open and stepped out, casting a quick glance over your shoulder.

“you know, Taejin,” you mused, your voice laced with mock concern, “you’ve been awfully quiet today. i hope you’re not mad at me for taking you on this little adventure.”

“wouldn’t dream of it,” he replied through gritted teeth, his expression remaining stoic despite the irritation brewing beneath the surface.

“good to hear,” you said sweetly. “now, let’s not keep Goo waiting. i’ve got something new for him.”

you made your way into the building, Taejin trailing a few steps behind. as you entered the lobby of Goo’s expansive office, you spotted Samuel leaning casually against the wall, his gaze sliding to you the moment you walked in.

“Samuel!” you called out, rushing toward him with open arms. Samuel barely had time to react before you were embracing him. “oh, you’ve done something different,” he said, glancing at your freshly manicured nails, his voice smooth and practiced. “new color? it suits you.”

You pulled back slightly, grinning up at him. “oh thank you, Samuel!! i knew someone would notice. i’ve been dragging poor Taejin around all day, but he didn’t say a word, can you imagine?!!!”

Samuel chuckled, casting a sidelong glance at Taejin, who had the decency to look slightly uncomfortable. “ah, Taejin. so focused on the job, aren’t you?”

“i’m not paid to notice nail polish,” Taejin muttered, crossing his arms as he leaned against the wall.

you turned to him, a playful glint in your eyes. “maybe you should be, Taejin. it’s the little things that make the difference. girls like a guy who pays attention to the details.”

Samuel smirked, clearly enjoying the exchange as much as you were. “she’s right, you know. attention to detail is key, even outside of work.”

Taejin sighed, rolling his eyes slightly but otherwise refusing to take the bait. “noted. i’ll make sure to compliment your next manicure. just give me a heads up beforehand so i can practice my delivery.”

you laughed, patting Taejin on the arm as you moved past him. “i knew there was a soft spot in there somewhere. you’re learning, Cheon. soon you’ll be a gentleman yet.”

Samuel followed behind you, still chuckling as you all made your way toward Goo’s office. as you approached the door, you threw one last glance over your shoulder at Taejin, who was still following dutifully behind.

“don’t worry, Taejin. i’ll make sure Goo knows just how valuable you’ve been today,” you said with a wink.

“i’m sure you will,” he replied, his voice resigned yet still carrying that ever-present edge of pride.

(Kind of inspired and based on The Little Mermaid, just edgier) Note (quick fact!): Sirens are different from mermaids. Sirens are half birds with a face of a human (female mostly) to lure men/sailors and wreck their ships with the use of their voice and singing while mermaids usually keep their distance away from humanity, wanting to live peacefully (at least in most versions). Now I don't know what to call this "evil mermaid" creature that I made up on my mind and it's really tricky to write since sailors get killed by sirens when they are lured by the song so I kind of made it a mix of a siren and mermaid😭(pls bear with me lmao😀👍). You don't know why you were acting like this. Is it because of that mentality when you believed that humans are disgusting creatures who take advantage of mother nature or you being hostile is just part of your natural instincts.

Well, he made your heart pounding though when he helped you carry out the anchor that has been stuck on your tail when you're minding your own business on your cave even though you're already hissing at him almost telling him to back off if you were able to speak the "human-way". It was very unusual for him to be generously kind to other people, let alone a sea-creature. So it's different (almost weird) for his co-sailors to see that side of him. Now you're the one who won't leave him alone when he's out to do his work, you swimming with your full speed to catch up to the big ship even when it's moving at a decent speed. Making him sigh and giving you a glare, almost not giving you attention because of you following him with that puppy-eyes even if you have the fiercest orbs ever.

So as risky as it sounds, he went back on the now sinking ship and giving the animal to his body guard before he was quickly swept by the harsh water waves, slowly drowning and loosing his breath. But a miracle happened.

He woke up on the seashore. Clothes wet and some parts ripped. Good thing that he is safe despite getting mild bruises. He was lost in his own thoughts when his assistant screamed for his name to get his attention and asking him if he's alright. Before that, he remembered when he was opening his eyes, he saw a striking face of a female with the familiar color of that specific scales and ear fins before it went away at that moment. He smiled as a warm blush covered his cheeks as he remembered that time when he was younger, he explained that he helped a mermaid-looking creature yet an attitude aggressive like a siren when it's injured yet his servants laughed at him. He sat down on a rock, sighing as he gets lost on his own thought thinking about his future especially for his loved ones who relies on him. He just wants to experience living of the life of luxury, eating everything he craves for and sleep every time he wants with his family, not wanting to leave them out. He wants to feel peacefulness even just for once in his life but he knows that he needs to focus on his work if he doesn't want to starve for a whole week, a month rather than smelling the stench of the fish that he catches every time he went out for fishing .

He was overthinking again before he noticed a movement on the small body of water that he is near to. "Eh- Who's there!?" He asked as he sticks up his lamp up to see if there are any near predators in the place. He could be in danger. He was surprised to see a tail move upward as the creature swam deeper in the water. He was about to get out when you suddenly grab his legs making him yelp. Your hand is slimy and soft yet the way you grab him was gentle. He has worked on big projects like mechanicals in big marine transportations that has been successful over the years for his age. Now he wants to explore what lies beneath the ocean.

He got curious when he read about a book related to hybrids of marine animals and humans, basically the mer-folk. He usually doesn't believe in fairy tales (often thinking it's dumb at times in realistic situations). But in terms of creating writing and his curious thinking getting in the way again, he can't help but to consider the possibility that the fish-people even sirens may exist. The past few cases of sunk ships have been very interesting for him nowadays.

He and his crew decided to have a short trip on the seas for him to have a break while secretly working on his research and investigation. Every island and shores have been discovered and dug to find artifacts yet none of it are a provable evidence of its' existence. He was about to give up when a singing voice is heard from the distance. He knew it was dangerous based on the novels that he had checked out, yet the sailors with their stupidity followed the sound and decided to catch whatever is moving under the water. He thought he was going to die when you approached the ship, but instead his weirdness got the best of him again as he ordered the fishermen to release you. It may be the dumb decision to let you go, but it's for the best for your and everybody's safety. He got a valuable evidence of your blood on the fishing hook that was used though.

Or was it because of the missing fishermen that has not yet found for almost a year now? Nobody knows the real reason if the higher ups won't open up about the issue.

Yet here he is now, feet feeling the warmness of the earthy-brown color of the sand as he admires the view of the horizon. It is beautiful, almost breath taking as if he is in paradise. But his moment was cut off when the guards noticed his presence on the abandoned place. "OI WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Shit, he's been caught again. He knows that it's probably the time he face the consequences of his actions. But that feeling of adrenaline is getting him excited, again and again as it repeats the cycle of the feeling of a masochistic happiness that he can't explain. He can't let that happen. To be beheaded in front of the pathetic people around him. No, he will run. As fast as he could.

Running away with his swift speed, he managed to escape (once again) the higher ups as he hides on the unfamiliar cave. Laughing to himself yet keeping quiet to not have the guards' attention. He once again admired the beauty of the rocks yet keeping his guard up. He knows that it's dangerous because of what ever is lurking in the dark. And it seems that he is somehow right. He noticed a shadow of, a human-like form with a tail on the water? He can't be serious right now. That living-creature doesn't exist, right? You slowly rise on the water, eyes like snake keeping your attention to the unfamiliar man as he pleaded for his life. "Oi, I don't know what the hell you want but, I"M HERE TO STAY FOR A WHILE SO PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" He winced as he has his eyes closed ready to be attacked. But as you got up and sat down on the rocky ground, you just kept your attention to him. Your pupils unusually dilating as you got curious about his presence which once again is unusual in your instincts as you attack other people. He heard on the gossip that mermaid-like creatures kills humans. Yet you just sat there, admiring his beauty as he did the same. If he isn't "normal", then he probably found someone like him too. Probably a new friend?

He would absolutely love the idea of having a kid with you. He’s really hesitant though, he’s similar to Daniel in the sense that he knows what’s happened and what could happen so he really isn’t sure he wants to bring a kid into it all if so much is going down. But as long as nothing is really happening he’s not that hard to convince ngl.

When you actually do get pregnant he’s like !!! Me? I did that? Me? My kid? I got you pregnant? I did?

Once the initial shock dies down he’s all over you, as nervous as he is he’s really excited to have a kid of his own

Is the type to buy a million and one outfits for the kid before they’re even born and he buys all of the outfits from big deal street. #support local businesses

Unlike vasco he’s be really hesitant to bring his kid around big deal. Not that they’re bad or dangerous people but he remembers how much he hated his father for being a yakuza leader and being a playboy and he doesn’t want his own kid growing up the same way. It takes a little convincing on your side to get him to realize he can just show his kid why big deal is different from the yakuza and show how much good big deal brings

He started crying when he saw his kid for the first time after their born

There was one time you caught him playing with your kid, turns out it was a whole play date with big deal and they were pretending the baby was the yakuza boss while they ran around playing ‘pretend’ yakuza

There was one time you had gotten sick so Jake had to take the kiddo with him to big deal, this was when they were still young so he absolutely had one of those baby harnesses on

For the most part you or Jake would always pick up your kiddo from day care/school and normally it wouldn’t be a problem, Jake cleans up well and doesn’t really look out of the ordinary if his tattoos aren’t showing. That is until jerry came to pick up one day because you both were really busy and jerry is on the allowed to pick up list.

The teachers look terrified when they see this big hulking scarred guy coming up to the school, they’re panicking a little and the students don’t stop gawking especially when your kiddo dashes off excited that ‘uncle Jerry’s here!’

The teachers relaxed when they see your kid hugging Jerry’s leg and he just gives one of the sweetest smiles

The teachers end up asking you guys about jerry later on and even how he’s doing sometimes and if he’ll be coming by again anytime soon to pick your kiddo up. The kids nonstop talk about him and your kiddo cause now they think your kiddo has a personal body guard and if anyone tries to bully them it’ll be their ass.

I feel like aside from jerry as much as Jake loves big deal he wouldn’t trust anyone with his kid to babysit alone

I could see Samuel maybe drunkenly confessing one night what happened in his childhood, how he wished he was gapryong kims son instead of his ‘real father’ who wanted him to get into the a/c industry.

You absolutely use that to get him to realize how stupid he is trying to make your child into a blood thirsty fighter like him. That maybe if your kid wanted to he could but just like him when he was younger his kid can go fuck right off and do whatever they hell they damned pleased if he pushed them enough. He finally got the hint.

He’d Lowkey spoil the fuck out of his kid though, he can’t have his kid out here in subpar clothes. This kid is two years old and will have more gucci outfits than a sane adult person would have.

Honestly doesn’t give a rats ass about being a decent father until you snap at him(maybe while you’re pregnant because he’s giving a ‘fuck all that’ attitude if you want (insert food craving) just order it through the (insert food service) he’s not getting up just for a craving for a stupid baby) and you turned around yelling about how he won’t and can’t be a decent father because he’s too scared of messing up.

This man and his inferiority complex would make a complete 180, he’s out getting your food cravings and he’s making sure your feet stay elevated and he’s rubbing your shoulders. That’s how he ended up getting into the mindset of ‘well if I can’t be king and I’m having a kid they can do what I couldn’t!’ Of course as we already said you’d put an end to that real quick.

I think after the kiddo is born and one day you had left your kid alone with Samuel for like. Five minutes and by the time you got back the kiddo fell asleep in his arms and he’s just staring in awe at your kid. He didn’t think about it till now but they really did look like you…they’re just….so small and fragile…he’s almost scared he’s gonna break it if he shifts the wrong way. You see how anxiously careful he’s being before going over behind him to wrap your arms around him and kiss his cheek

“It’s ok, you’re not gonna hurt them. They’re sleeping already how about we lay them down?-“”no!” He’d cut in a little loud and quick, shrinking back a moment surprised and confused at his own reaction, immediately quieting down his voice “no no…it’s fine-they’ll just wake up if I move…” he mumbled. One of the few out of all these headcannons willing and wanting to train their kid to be a fighter and will probably get their way about it

His special talent is to literally train people into their peak performance of course he’s gonna do it for his kid to excel at sports in school and self defense are you kidding 100% teaches his kid kyokushin karate.

He’d absolutely tell his kid to give/tell certain things to guns kid to use/say to piss gun off. You’ll have a very pissed off gun at your doorstep regularly

Ok but also when you were pregnant he absolutely talked to the kiddo through your stomach. It would seem all cute and soft, you’re being lulled to sleep with his gentle rubbing on your stomach and his quiet coos to the baby
