I know the anniversary is already over in Korea, but it’s still the 6th where I live, so I want to make another post.

Because the anniversary coincided with the comeback, I just want to dedicate the post to the members who aren’t in the comeback. Not so much Ryeowook and Kyuhyun, but the rest of them.

Han Geng - You will always be a part of us, even if not physically. You have suffered so much and you managed to get past it, to do what was right for YOU and take care of yourself, your mental and physical well being. You have always been strong, and I’m so happy that you’re doing well. I miss you terribly, but at the same time I understand with all my heart why you had to leave, so it makes it slightly easier. Today is your day as well. I know you still think of Super Junior as your family, and they think about you the same, and so do us ELFs. I love you with all my heart.

Kangin - I know you’ve been through a lot. You were wrong, and I’m sure you know that, but I hope you know there are a lot of us who miss you terribly. No one can erase the past, but we can learn from it, and while it’s the second strike already, I feel like there’s still chance for more. Stay safe and healthy, and come back to us with a clear mind (and hopefully no fucking car). I love you <3

Sungmin - You did nothing wrong. NOTHING. Those immature people who argue against you, they have no idea. They do not represent all of us. There are a lot of us who love and support you, and Saeun, and your relationship, with all our hearts. It breaks my heart and angers me that you weren’t able to be a part of this comeback, but I’m going to hope that you will be in the next one. Hopefully by the time you’re back, these dumb “fans” will get over themselves. Hope you’ve had a lovely day; I’m not sure if you’re back from your vacation yet or not, but I hope you’re happy. <3

Kibum - To be fair, after thinking about it for many years, I understand why you felt the need to leave. I was angry for a while, but in the end, you did what you thought was best for you. I have lost touch with what you’re doing since you left, especially since your contract with SM ended, but I hope you’re doing well and that you’re happy. Even if it was for a short time, you’re still a part of this family, and I’m happy for you. I don’t miss you as much as I used to, because I know with all my heart that you would have been unhappy if you stayed. Stay healthy and happy, that’s all I want.

Zhou Mi and Henry - I’m going to put you guys together, since technically it’s not your anniversary (neither it is Kyuhyun’s, but someone people keep forgetting that). You’ve suffered too much for too long. For me, and for a lot of us, you ARE a part of Super Junior, and you ARE a part of this family, and so even though it’s not the day you debuted, I still think that Super Junior’s day is yours, too. There are so many of us who love and support you whole heatedly, who suffer with you, who wish for those idiots who call themselves elfs to realize that you’ve always been a part of the group, and you always will be. Stay strong against these people and only think of the ones who truly support you. I hope that you’ll have more opportunities in the future, both in solo activities and group stuff. I hope Super Junior will have another sub group that will include you two, so we’ll have more content from you. I love you so much, and I can’t wait to see more of you. <3

(btw I didn’t include Siwon bc he’s in the album even if he’s not actively promoting, and tbh I’m still confused why he’s not promoting... I’m not sure if it’s because of the whole Bugsy thing or because of his drama schedule?)

I finally sent him off today with the words I needed to say to him. He’ll read it up there, I know he will, and he’ll feel reassured. His funeral for his family and close friends just occurred, and it’s finally hit me like a ton of bricks. I can’t stop crying, and I just feel motionless. Jonghyun was one of the sweetest, most genuine and talented idols to ever exist. I feel like someone just slapped me in the face. I hope he’s living freely now. The song that’s playing is called “Sorry” and it’s by the legend himself, Jonghyun. Instead of him being the one who’s sorry though, I like to think of it as me being sorry for not being able to help him through the pain he was feeling. I’m so, very sorry you thought you had no other option but to take your own life Jonghyun. I love you. (If you guys want to see the note I wrote DM me. I said everything I needed to. ❤️

Super Junior and ELF: Imperfect but REFINED.

Super Junior, one of the biggest and most successful kpop groups to ever emerge. With their global phenomenon hit song: Sorry Sorry released in 2009, indeed Super Junior has earned its name as the “King of the Hallyu Wave.” Super Junior is one of the pioneers of the globalization of kpop. But like any other group, getting there wasn’t easy. Super Junior is an imperfect group. Truth is, no group ever is. Not TVXQ, Bigbang,Highlight/BEAST, EXO, BTS, Wanna One, Girls Generation, 2NE1, Twice. NOT ONE OF THEM IS PERFECT. Thinking otherwise would be subjective in many ways.  Super Junior had their issues and scandals, these include the major car accident where several members had their lives hanging by a thread, various cases of Kangin’s behaviour, Kibum’s whereabouts, Hangeng’s departure, the discrimination against Henry and Zhoumi, Sungmin’s boycotting issue, I could sit here all day and talk about what Super Junior has been through. Despite all these, Super Junior may still be imperfect but through these hardships,

SUPER JUNIOR IS A TEAM OF REFINEMENT.

Super Junior has become a refined team as they are today because they had the biggest fanclub in the world, and that was ELF. The EverLastingFriends. Some may seem to call it, Fandom, Fanclub but to ELF, its Family. ELF has been with Super Junior since Day One and together, Super Junior and ELF shared the tears and the laughter. ELF, through Super Junior has seen it all.

The cruelty of the Entertainment Industry and the prejudice of the world.

Some ELFs left but most remained. The question was, why? Friends, ELF stayed because Super Junior was family that was worth the tears and the cries every night before we sleep. ELF is a fucking hell everyone wants to avoid. ELF is an ocean but the sensation is like that of fire and it doesn’t get any better. Every year, they’d leave with very little hair and a wide smile. It’s painful to see them go, to not see them for quite some time.

ELF is a painful place to be. We cried many times, their tears were also ELFs’, their cries would also become ours. The pain of what SUJU and ELF has been through is no joke. Some committed suicide, some cut their wrists. Entering this fandom, I warn you is not all unicorns and rainbows. The rain and winter came upon us everyday but no matter.

No matter how painful it gets, No matter how hard the road will be, THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. THERE’S  NO PLACE LIKE THE SAPPHIRE OCEAN. 

SUPER JUNIOR AND ELF cant be what they are now without the refinement. SUPER JUNIOR AND ELF cant be without the trials. 

SUPER JUNIOR AND ELF is an ocean tested by fire. Super Junior and ELF withstood the fire and remain standing. We are an imperfect fandom with an imperfect group but WE ARE REFINED.

Throw bricks and stones, but WE WILL STILL BE THE LAST MAN STANDING.

2017 IS SUPER JUNIOR’S YEAR SO GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY AND GIVE US THE RESPECT WE DESERVE. CAPISCE?

Here’s a nice picture of Kibum from his Kdrama, I Love Lee Taeri, and if I’m not mistaken, the last drama he made whilst part of SMENT. Sorry Jaejoong and I still like you heaps, but Kibum has far better acting chops. I really liked this drama, and I really liked Kibum. Man, what a waste of looks and talent and potential.
