When They’re Jealous//iKon

(A/N: the wording is a bit sloppy because I wrote this at work lmao)

Jinhwan

Jealousy level: 2/10

Jinhwan feels secure with both himself and your relationship, so he wouldn’t get too jealous. But he has his moments.

He’d begin to act coldly towards everyone if he starts to feel as if someone is getting between you two, trying to remain nonchalant while simultaneously hoping you hear his silent prays that you do something to remind both him and the potential homewrecker that you’re spoken for.

He can get a bit pouty even when things die down and it’s made clear you’re happily taken, still upset you weren’t all over him the way he wanted, but that’s another issue for another time.

Yunhyeong

Jealousy level: 0/10

Like Jinhwan, he’s secure with himself and your relationship, but he also trust that you can put an end to any flirting or advances made towards you.

But Yunhyeong is no idiot.

He would tell you with a bright smile to go out with them for dinner or to the movies, to enjoy your time with them as if the situation didn’t faze him, but he knew it’d bother you. You’d feel like he was pushing you away, probably upset you were talking about and hanging out with another man that wasn’t him, maybe even upset you haven’t given him the same attention recently.

And, like clockwork, you’ll cancel all your plans to spend your time with Yunhyeong, his demeanor still nonchalant and unbothered while you tried to prove to him you were 100% committed to your relationship. It wasn’t his plan per say, it was clearly your idea to stay with him, he just gave you a bit of a push to come to that decision.

Jiwon

Jealousy level: 2/10

Another member that has no doubt that your relationship is perfect and indestructible. He doesn’t mind people flirting with you or even offering to take you out, a running joke between you two that someone might take you away from him one day. But the thing Bobby didn’t find funny? When guys were a bit too bold with their affection towards you.

You weren’t one to tell people off, especially strangers, leading to some people taking your silent bashfulness as compliance. The way guys would wrap their arms around your shoulders and pull you close drove Bobby crazy but, the way you awkwardly smiled and grimaced at the closeness between you and said stranger, killed any jealousy he felt.

He’d go into a protective stance, being your voice against unwanted predators. He was fine with seeming like the jealous boyfriend, as long as you were safe and comfortable.

Hanbin

Jealousy level: 8/10

Hanbin is a great boyfriend, but his jealousy can make you question your relationship at times.

He could go from silently glaring at the man stealing your attention to wrapping himself around you like a snake, taking PDA to an all-time high to ensure they got the hint but, if they didn’t catch on or if you brushed him off to focus on the stranger, he’d get angry.

He’s a sweet guy, but if he’s angry enough he’ll verbally tell them off, gritting his teeth and giving a stern warning to leave and never come near you again. He’d try to scold you as well, wanting to chastise you for allowing their flirting to go on for so long, but just looking in your slightly angry eyes made him calm down. His mood would switch back to the loving boyfriend you always knew, his PDA still at its highest as he profusely apologized to you, but he knew he had to go through hell and back to gain your forgiveness like always.

Donghyuk

Jealousy level: 1/10

Donghyuk only feels jealous when he’s not your main focus, especially when it’s another guy occupying your time.

He’d become pouty and verbally needy, not ashamed to admit that he’s jealous. His jealousy won’t last long because you’d immediately talk it out, his playfulness keeping things lighthearted and his arms wrapped around you like you’re his greatest comfort.

He wouldn’t mind if you continued conversing with the stranger, especially if you found some way to include him. Possibly the easiest to deal with in terms of jealousy and relationship security.

Junhoe

Jealousy level: 10/10

He’s petty and he doesn’t care that he’s petty. Anyone looks at you? He glares at them. They smile at you? He scoffs. You smile or laugh back? He rolls his eyes. His jealousy knows no bounds.

You’d find it amusing if you weren’t also a target in his unhinged behavior. He’d ignore you and everyone nearby, arms crossed and lips in a permanent pout as he watched you ignore his upset demeanor, silently demanding you go over and comfort him. But, even if you do, he’ll keep up his bitter act, sarcastically asking why you weren’t talking with your other boyfriend.

He’d be the most difficult to make up with, his jealousy fueling your own anger until you found yourselves in a silent treatment match that’d last but so long once you both went to bed, his arm wrapping around you waist and holding you close, a simple “I��m still mad” leaving him as you drifted to sleep.

Chanwoo

Jealousy level: 5/10

Chanwoo would feel jealous but he wouldn’t know how to go about it. He’d be embarrassed if you knew he was jealous, but he also couldn’t stand seeing you laugh with and hug some guy he never met before. If you brought him along so they could meet, he’d space out, his mind going over everything you might have found perfect about the other guy and doubting if this was just step one of you replacing him and finding a new and better relationship.

He’d mentally detach from the situation before physically drifting away as well, eyes reluctantly glancing at you both to watch the potential demise of his relationship. Once you found yourself back at his side, you’d be able to tell right away he wasn’t himself and, after putting two and two together, determined he was just feeling insecure. He’d need a lot of reassurance, just a simple “I love you” not enough to remind him you weren’t going anywhere.

His jealousy would be more sadness than anger or possession, making it a strange and new experience as you won’t know how to handle it properly, but he’ll talk it out with you eventually and may need some space to realign himself and get back to normal.

I Don’t

It was the night before the wedding. You were stuck at the rehearsal dinner. Looking around at the room full of smiling faces made you sick to your stomach. Why? Because you were the only one who was secretly wishing some major catastrophe would occur and stop the wedding from happening.

You were unhappy the moment you were invited then miserable when you were asked to be the maid of honor. The bride was a close friend of yours but not close enough for her to offer you such a position. You knew this had to be his doing. The groom, Kim Donghyuk, was also a close friend of yours. The two of you were even closer than anyone suspected.

The two of you were friends for a long time. After spending so much time together Donghyuk came to realize he had feelings for you but it was a little too late. He already had a girlfriend, one who loved and adored him but that didn’t stop him from acting on his feelings and sleeping with you.

Donghyuk noticed the paleness of your skin and the downcast glance you gave everyone. "Excuse me" he excused himself from the conversation he was pretending to enjoy and went over to you. "Is this seat taken?"

"No" you sighed allowing him to sit beside you.

"Y/N are you okay?"

That question reminded you how out of place you were. All day people came up to ask if you were tired or feeling unwell. Of course, you couldn't answer truthfully so you forced your lips to curve up and repeat, "I'm fine."

"Don't lie to me. I know you better than that."

"I’m just stressed, that’s all.” You decided to lie to him but at the same time get some things off your chest. “Being maid of honor is difficult. She had me running around all day today and I finally got to sit down. I wonder why she chose me when I don’t have any interest in these kinds of things.” You took a quick look at him expecting him to look away in guilt. “Was it you who suggested I be the maid of honor?”

“Sorry” he apologized with a sheepish smile. Donghyuk was guilty of what you accused him of. He knew the maid of honor was involved in nearly every moment, event, and preparation of the wedding. He wanted you to be close because he wanted you to stop him. “Was it really that bad?”

You rolled your eyes, not in annoyance but to express just how difficult of a trial it had been to serve as a maid of honor. “Six hours Donghyuk, she had me locked up in a bridal dress boutique for six hours as she tried on dresses. She asked for opinions but didn’t listen to a single one. She could have gone alone.” Looking around the room you noticed no one was looking in your direction or his. They were all fixated on the beautiful blushing bride-to-be that walked around the dining hall showing her sparkly engagement ring to those who hadn't seen it yet. “She was really demanding but she has every right to be.” She had turned into a bridezilla because she was trying to make her wedding day the best day of her life. Everyone deserved that. “Must be nice getting married to the person you love.” You starred at her feeling envious of her smile and disgusted by your malicious thoughts.

“Yeah, it must be.” Donghyuk stared at you thinking how happy he would be if the person he were marrying tomorrow was you. He was constantly recalling the sound of your heavy breathing, the way his name sounded coming from your lips, and the way he had experienced complete happiness with you for one night only.

The next day you were up at the crack of dawn. Being the maid of honor was a real pain in your ass at this point. You were getting tired of the phone calls and running around to do things for someone who was responsible for the pain you were feeling in your chest.

“Y/N!”

You were taken out of your thoughts by the loud shriek. “Coming!” You responded. “Sorry, I’ll be back” you had to stop the makeup artist from doing her job so you could run out and see what bridezilla wanted. “What is it?”

“The florist is here but can’t find the entrance. Can you go out and meet them?”

“Like this?” you pointed at your robe clad body and half done makeup.

“Y/N this is my special day. Everything has to be perfect for me not for you.” The other women in the bridal party nodded silently agreeing to her statement. You were being judged for something you knew they wouldn’t do themselves. “Fine” you exhaled as you slipped on some shoes and stepped out of the dressing room and into the huge reception hall.

There were people setting up tables and sound systems everywhere you turned there were people. You stepped out to the main entrance to look out for the florist. Not a second later someone joined you. “Donghyuk.”

He gave you a look of concern. “What are you doing out here dressed like that? It’s cold.”

“Yeah, but I was forced to wait for the florist so here I am.” As you spoke there was a cloud of fog that left your mouth. You crossed your arms shivering as you bounced from one foot to the other.

Donghyuk took his coat off and placed it over your shoulders. “You should’ve at least gotten a coat.”

“Thanks” you gave him a small smile in exchange for the gesture. For a moment you forgot what you were doing and enjoyed having him so close by. He waited with you until the florist came by.

Once you were back inside you handed his coat back. “Thanks for waiting with me.”

“No problem” he let his hand rest on yours for a while as he took the coat from you. Your hands were so cold and all he wanted to do was warm them up. He stayed still for a moment waiting to see if you would let him continue to hold them. To his surprise you did.

You were completely frozen when Donghyuk held your hand with both of his. Your lips parted as you looked at him with awe. He was being so warm and considerate of you. When his eyes met yours you slid your hand out of his. “I better get back before I get yelled at again.”

“Wait, Y/N.”

“Sorry I really I have to go get ready.”

“I need to talk to you.”

“Right now isn’t a good time Donghyuk.” Your heartbeat faster as your imagination ran wild with thoughts of Donghyuk calling off the wedding for you. But of course, you knew that couldn’t happen. You were past the moment of no return.

“Y/N do you remember what we talked about the day before my engagement? After we slept together I told you what I felt and you felt the same right? So why are you making me do this?”

“Donghyuk you and I-”

“Y/N!” You turned around to see one of the other bridesmaids walking towards you in her dress and heels, ready to go. “You have to get back up there. She’s asking for you.”

“I’ll be right there.” She went back where she came from allowing you to say one more thing to Donghyuk. “I really have to go get ready too.”

“Can we talk once you are finished? I really have to talk with you before I can get married.”

You gave in and nodded. “I’ll be back as soon as possible.”

Donghyuk stood outside in the same spot he had been with you earlier. He paced back and forth as he waited for you. He wanted to know how you two ended up this way. He loved you, he would do anything for you. He wouldn’t think twice about canceling the wedding if you said you loved him. Running away with you, the woman he loved, would be the best ending to this day.

Once you were finished you slipped out of the bride’s sight to meet Donghyuk. This time you were wearing the long pale yellow bridesmaid dress that was chosen for you and on top, you had a white peacoat. The soft curls of your hair bounced with every step you took. When you got outside Donghyuk was left speechless.

You two were silent as you took in the sight of Donghyuk in his tux. The suit was sharp and neat contrasting well with his messily styled hair. He was the very definition of handsome.

“You look beautiful” he finally spoke. The smile on his face stirred up the feelings you kept trying to hold down. “Thank you, You look very handsome yourself.” Your words sound forced but you meant them. It was obvious by the smile on your face.

Donghyuk felt his face warm up, particularly his cheeks. He was flattered by your compliment so naturally, he blushed. He looked up when he heard the sweet sound of your laughter. “Y/N I love you.”

The sudden confession wasn’t unexpected. You felt this would happen yet you came anyway. “Donghyuk you shouldn’t say that.”

“Why not? It’s how I feel. Ever since the day we slept together. That day I told you I would break up with her but you refused so I did nothing and now we are here.”

It was now your turn to blush. Thinking back to that day, that wonderful day, always made you regret certain things. “I’m sorry but I couldn’t let you do that.”

“Why not?” Donghyuk was growing desperate.

“I felt horrible that because of me your year-long relationship was going to be broken. You loved her and then I came and messed with your mind. You are a good person Donghyuk. You’re not a cheater but because of me you became one and I felt like a villain.” Your chest tightened as you held back tears, regret, and lament.

“You’re not a villain.” He held you by the shoulders, he wanted to hold you in his arms but feared rejection. “I loved you even before then but I thought my love was one-sided. After that night I was hopeful and thought you and I would start dating but you told me I had to forget it.”

You bit your lip, hearing his wavering voice hurt you.

“I never forgot it though. I still remember that night and I keep getting more and more depressed thinking I might never get to feel that way again. I don’t want to marry her.”

You looked up at him with wide eyes, you were shocked. “Donghyuk-”

“Do you love me?” Donghyuk asked before you could say anything else.

"Yes, I love you Donghyuk” you couldn’t lie to him or yourself anymore. You hid your face in his chest as you fully embraced him.

He wrapped his arms around you and kissed the top of your head. “That’s all I wanted to hear.”

A ⇴ ATTENTION

If anything, Donghyuk arguably pays too much attention to you, he can’t help but know where you are when you’re with him. Even if you tell him that you’re alright, he’ll still make sure to check on you though.

B ⇴ BICKER

Most of the time the two of you will bicker when you mess around with one another and try to wind the other person up. Donghyuk especially will let you know that he’s in a good mood when he’s bickering with you, he won’t bite his tongue like he usually does, and will try and get some sort of reaction from you.

C ⇴ COMFORT

Seeing you upset is always a dilemma for Donghyuk as he never quite knows what to do. The one thing that he tries to focus on more than anything else is putting the smile back on your face, whether he needs to talk to you, do something silly, or just give you some space, Donghyuk will do whatever you need.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

You both can often feel as if you’re the one in the right which can lead to an argument or two between the two of you, but those disagreements never usually last long. Despite feeling as if you’re right, more than that the two of you are good at talking about how you’re feeling and explaining to the other why you both think that you’re right, whilst also understanding why the other feels that they’re right too.

E ⇴ EARLY YEARS

It surprised you both how quickly you got along with each other, although you were both pretty independent, you found yourselves depending quite a lot on one another. You weren’t sure if it was the role of the newbie or the fear of the unknown that pulled you towards Donghyuk, but for some reason you just felt settled by his side almost from the very start of when the two of you first met one another.

F ⇴ FAMILY

Donghyuk’s family were incredibly fond of you, they always appreciated how you were always there for him. He told them everything about you, especially all of the things that you did for him and the things that you helped Donghyuk with. Because of that, they couldn’t help but like you and always made sure to let you know how appreciative they were every time that Donghyuk told them something new.

G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER

It depends on how much time you have usually whether the two of you go out or not, if you’re feeling lazy, you’ll just stay at home, but if you’ve got a full day together then you’ll make sure to go out somewhere and make a memory, especially when you’ve not been able to see each other much recently.

H ⇴ HABITS

The two of you have a habit of talking every day, even if you’re only able to text each other, you’ll catch up every single day without fail. Even if Donghyuk is away with work too, he’ll still never forget to text you, even if because of time zones too he has to wait a couple of hours for you to eventually reply to him.

I ⇴ INSIDE JOKES

Both of you have plenty of inside jokes because of how long you’ve been friends and the many things that you’ve seen together. You remember a lot of what happens when the two of you hang out as you’d experienced so many funny moments together that you wanted to make sure not to forget.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

More than anything Donghyuk tries his best not to let any of your friends make him jealous, but it’s a tricky task for him. If someone gets particularly loud or in your face, then Donghyuk usually starts to overthink and panic a little bit. Once the two of you are by yourselves again, Donghyuk will definitely search for a little bit of reassurance from you as to who the person is and the role that they have in your life.

K ⇴ KICKS

Donghyuk got a kick out of spending time with you, that was the only real thing that mattered to him. He didn’t need anything else other than you to enjoy himself, even if you were just sat around, having you there as his best friend to talk to was by far the most important thing in Donghyuk’s opinion.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how you were up for anything and always wanting to make new memories with him. If Donghyuk suggested something or somewhere to you, you’d just about always say yes as you wanted to explore with him. He loved that even if he texted you last minute with some plans, you’d agree to hang out with Donghyuk if you were available and try something new again with Donghyuk once again.

M ⇴ MEETING

The two of you first met when you were both trainees at the company, starting at the exact same time together. On your first day you found yourself sat next to Donghyuk and everything just seemed to follow from there for you both, striking up a conversation and more importantly, introducing yourselves.

N ⇴ NONSENSE

Being around you naturally seemed to bring out Donghyuk’s nonsense side, he didn’t need to try at all to make it come out, there was just something about being with you that put him at complete ease.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Donghyuk was obsessed with your sense of humour and how much you loved to joke and laugh with him. You two worked perfectly together when it came to laughing and just generally enjoying yourselves.

P ⇴ PRECIOUS MOMENTS

The moments that meant the most to Donghyuk were the moments when he’d catch your smile and be relieved to see that you were happy with him. He hated knowing that you were stressed or having a difficult time, so even if it was just for a moment, catching your smile was a massive relief to him.

He loves to ask you if you’re free, if he can, Donghyuk will try and spend as much time with you as he possibly can. Even if you’re only free for a little while, that won’t matter to him, he’ll stop by at yours.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

Because of how close the two of you are, your friendship has its own nickname amongst everyone else. Your friends and your colleagues alike all know how inseparable the two of you are, and so rather than refer to the two of you individually, it’s better to just refer to you both as one, as usually you can be found together.

He never takes your support for granted, every time that you’re there, no matter how small of a part you play, Donghyuk makes sure to let you know how appreciative he is. No matter how many times you assure Donghyuk that you love supporting him, he still makes sure to let you know just how thankful he is.

If he has a little bit of time off in his schedule, Donghyuk will try his best to arrange somewhere to go and visit for you both, especially if you’ve barely been able to see each other because he’s been so busy.

U ⇴ ULTIMATE

Everyone knows how close the two of you are, and the response your friendship gets let him know how lucky Donghyuk is.

V ⇴ VISITS

He loves when you unexpectedly visit him, it’s always something that makes his stomach knot. It doesn’t matter how many times you do it either, it’s still a surprise that puts a huge smile on Donghyuk’s face.

W ⇴ WISDOM

Although he knows that he’s far from the best with advice, that doesn’t stop Donghyuk trying his best to advise you where he can.

X ⇴ XXXX

Both of you are playful whenever you’re around one another, you’re not afraid to poke Donghyuk and try and wind him up when you can, just like how he never turns down the chance to tickle you as well.

You were his teammate; it was very rare for the two of you not to be together.

Z ⇴ ZZZ

Most of the time, Donghyuk will invite you to stay at his place as he loves having company at home. He’ll set a space for you to sleep up perfectly so that it makes you want to stay at Donghyuk’s more often too.

nct 127 : domestic mornings !

[✿] — TAEIL. waking up around the same time. sleepily tugging and poking at each other until one relents and turns over to switch the alarm off. him talking about how you both have so many things to do and should get up soon, but holding you tighter and refusing to let go. doing your own morning routines at your own pace. exchanging playful grins and teasing words when you pass by each other. music playing in the background. random little duets or dance-offs in the living room before going “okay, stop, we don’t have time.” occasionally bickering when he blasts loud edm, disturbing the peaceful morning. always remembering to give each other ‘have a good day’ kiss.

[✿] — JOHNNY. him waking up earlier and making sure to adjust the covers over you so that you’re warm. waking up to the sound of him returning home from a jog or gym. him greeting you with a ‘good morning, baby' and a quick kiss on top of your head. taking a shower together. having really good talks in the shower while rubbing each other's backs with lather and getting carried away before realizing that you’re going to be late, so now you’re hurriedly rinsing yourselves. him offering you a towel first and instinctively holding your hand so that you don’t slip while getting out of the shower. quick but lingering little nose rubs before leaving the house, already looking forward to coming home to each other.

[✿] — TAEYONG. waking up to the smell of breakfast that he’s making. making your way into the kitchen and giving him a back hug while he cooks. ending up having a short nap against his back. him intentionally leaning his head backwards to lightly bump your forehead with the back of his head when he knows you’ve fallen asleep. small talks in the kitchen. eating breakfast together; him giving you more from his plate when you seem like you’re enjoying the food. more chitchat about your day ahead. the kitchen and the little breakfast nook being your bonding place in the morning; afterwards, doing your own things, the atmosphere soft, peaceful, and filled with blissful quietness.

[✿] — YUTA. him waking you up so that you won't be late; then drifting back to sleep by himself almost immediately. checking up on you as soon as he wakes up. joining you on the couch after washing up. eating breakfast together in the living room while watching tv or rather using the sounds on tv as a source of background noise while you talk about the dreams you had, or whatever was on your mind. multi-tasking together, like doing your skincare while picking out what to wear. him randomly attacking you with bear hugs when you least expect it.

[✿] — DOYOUNG. him setting the alarm on vibration mode so as not to disturb your sleep. him pressing a soft kiss on your forehead or shoulder before beginnning to move away, and you gently reaching for his hand, still half asleep, before letting him go. sending each other texts even though you're in the same house/apartment. him coming back into the room with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee for you. reminding each other things throughout the morning: “did you take your vitamins?” “don’t forget it’s going to rain later!” “i put the extra charger in your bag.”

[✿] — JAEHYUN. him unintentionally waking you with his loud yawning and stretching. or intentionally waking you up by poking your cheeks or playing with your hair. doing something active together: working out, hiking, going for a walk, etc. stopping by a café for a quick coffee or breakfast; trying each other’s orders even though they're the same every morning. also occasionally stopping by a grocery store to quickly grab necessities for your shared place.

[✿] — JUNGWOO. taking turns to snooze the blaring alarm at least six times before even considering waking up. him reaching out to cuddle you closer, telling himself it’s just for five more minutes, but dozing off again as soon as he’s comfortable with you in his arms. soft, languid kisses on each other’s bodies. sleepy ‘i love you’s.’ offering suggestions when you’re having trouble picking outfits. helping each other with zippers and buttons while dressing.

[✿] — MARK. being naturally in sync in the morning. waking up together to the sound of the alarm set for you both. him giving you a one-handed neck massage when you sit side-by-side on the bed, while also trying to shake his own sleepiness away. making the bed together and both plopping on the freshly-made bed for one last brief morning cuddle and kiss before really getting up. brushing teeth together and making funny faces at each other in the mirror. then proceeding to bicker about whose turn it is to do the dishes or laundry for the day.

[✿] — HAECHAN. actually waking up early but spending about an hour in bed, being lazy together. very playful and light-hearted mornings. lightly kicking or pushing each other and accusing the other of stealing the covers or taking up all the space. ruffling each other’s hair to mess it up even more. changing cuddling positions every minute. watching tiktok or youtube videos while leaning against his chest. fighting about who showers first so that the other gets extra minutes of time to be lazy on bed; eventually deciding to settle it like adults — by playing rock-paper-scissors.

A/N They're kinda lengthy about 250 - 300 words each because I got a bit carried away sorry about that ahah. I'd like to stress that this is fictional and if you don't like it move on and don't read.

B.I - He comes home early in the morning; you’d just come off a night shift two hours before he got in. You wished you could have been there, but he understood. Not long after you had slipped in bed dozing off, did you feel the bed dip and a presence settle beside you? You knew it was your boyfriend, so you tried to make the effort to wake up some more despite how much sleep was trying to pull you back under. “Hey.” You croaked out; voice scratchy from sleep. “Go back to sleep” he murmured cuddling into you further. “Missed you” you confessed, stubbornly clinging to trying to be awake. It had been a while since you had last properly seen him after all, “I know. Missed you too, now go sleep.” He gently scolded, dropping a kiss on your head. Then dropping one on your lips as you sleepily pouted them up at him. He knew how tired you were but how much you wanted to be awake to talk to him however that could wait for later, he’s more than happy to just cuddle you feeling content and at peace with you back in his arms. You let yourself be pulled back into sleep, lulled by his presence and warmth. It felt good now knowing you didn’t have to sleep alone in your big bed, that he could now once again cuddle you to sleep, that you could just be wrapped up in his warm, loving, caring embrace knowing that you’d both sleep peacefully that night.

Jinhwan– Time was kind, although the length of the enlistment was long, it had actually gone by quick. His service was so close to being done and over now just a few more hours until you could see him again. You kept fussing over the decorations you had put up, balloons and banners to welcome him home, despite them already being perfect. Anything to stop you from keeping still as you were vibrating with too much excitement. He was due any minute now, his parents who were the first to see him, dropping him off. The sound of the code being punched into the door’s keypad echoed in the apartment and then it really hit home that he was back. You could barely stop your eyes welling up with tears when he walked in just overwhelmed by all the feelings, the longing, happiness, tinge of sadness for the time you’ve had to spend apart. “Don’t cry.” He said rushing over to you, to hold you tight in his arms. You shed a few more tears but sobered up quickly, not wanting to sob and snot all over him. “God, I missed you so fucking much.” You sighed; you were happy to have him back but also a little overwhelmed still – just a big mix mess of emotions. “I’m here now.” He said holding onto you tighter, knowing how much you missing him has been hell because he felt the same about you.

Yunhyeong –It was a tearful goodbye when he left, and an even more tearful time spent missing him. Not having your rock to come home to, to face life by your side was hard, after all, you were more or less living in two different worlds. Now even as you stood waiting with all respective people who had come along to reunite with their own people, you couldn’t help but curse mandatory military service. You had missed him terribly and were more than ready for the pain of missing him to go away as you stand awaiting your boyfriend to be released back to you. You didn’t have to wait long though, your eyes trained in on him like a hawk and you struggled your way through the crowd and jumped straight into his arms as soon as you broke free. His quick reflexes caught you in time, so you didn’t fall on your arse. Tight wasn’t the word you were more or less choking him with how tight you were hugging him, practically smothering him but with loving intent not murderous. “You have no idea how much I missed you.” He spoke beating you to it as you were going to say the exact same thing. “I’ve missed you more but okay.” You teased. “So glad it’s over now, don’t wanna see you leave like that again.” He made a noise of agreement and you both stood there for only God knows how long in your own little world just wrapped up in each other.

BOBBY - Staring down at the time displayed on the phone seemed to be a constant, clicking it on for the time to flash up on the screen only every second to check the time only to see it was the same as it was a second ago. Then clicking it on again a second after it had gone off to find time had indeed moved but only by a minute. It wasn’t going as fast as you wanted it and it only left you all the more impatient which led you to being on edge. Waiting for the moment he would walk through that door, for real this time, not like in you’re all too realistic daydreams, and swear to you, military service is all over. “I’m back.” He called, those simple words meaning the world to you. You let out a strangled noise of excitement, rushing over to jump on him – to smother him with your love. He catches you effortlessly, him beating you to the passionate kiss you were about to plant on him, by planting it on your before you could on him. Once you broke away from the kiss, you joked “diagnose me with separation anxiety now because I’m not letting you leave me from now on.” Making him laugh at your theatrics. But he understood, he thought about and missed you every day in the military. “I’ll marry you soon, so you’re stuck with me.” He hummed out happily, slipping an engagement ring onto your finger out of nowhere leaving you gaping at the sudden, odd but loving proposal

Donghyuk – Counting down the days turned into counting down the hours, and now counting down the hours turned into counting down the minutes. Counting down until you could see your boyfriend again, as he was now free from the military. You were proud of him for doing his service, knowing the strength it takes mentally and physically, but more than happy that he was seconds away from returning to you. You’d actually felt like you’d sent him of to war, but that was just you being dramatic, validly so though because well you were sending him into the military. He was coming straight from the military not even changing so he said, to meet you at the place where you first met. It was a request that he texted you this morning, and it left you as curious as you were excited to finally be in his arms again. T minutes two minutes and he was walking up to you, early not that you minded – the earlier the better. As soon as he was close enough to touch you, he pulled you into his arms and you reciprocated hugging him back tighter than ever. “I love you, missed you.” You both confessed at the same time. The pair of you tearing up a little just a little emotional from being physically back with each other again. Once you pulled away, he spoke up. “I missed you so much whilst I was away, and I thought about this a lot. I want to give you a promise ring. To promise that one day in the near future, it will be replaced by and engagement ring with a wedding ring the eventually join.” He slipped the promise ring on your finger, making the day even more special. A day to really remember in the future.

Ju-ne - Missing him was an experience to never go through again. Even there was the understanding it was mandatory military service, it didn’t take away from the fact that you missed him near enough every day. You survived on little communication and few and far in-between visits to him when he got days off, but no more. Today was D Day, he was coming home, and you couldn’t be happier. Although you couldn’t meet him right the moment he was discharged because you had work, it didn’t put a damper on your spirits. You were practically vibrating with anticipation all day, still feeling energized even after a long day at work. “Did somebody call for a soldier?” He teased as soon as you had rushed through the door. Joking back, you reply “Only if he comes with a striptease.” You try to stifle your laughter, but it comes out anyway. He watches on fond, having missed the sight of you laughing. Before you know it, you’re being pulled into a kiss, reciprocating you make sure to put all your feelings of love, happiness, and missing him into it. You were glad he was back, so glad you could get back to life with him, to create memories with your boyfriend that you would cherish forever. Happy to be thrown back into domestic bliss with him.

Chanwoo – It felt like this time couldn’t have come quick enough, after near a lifetime since he left now, he was coming home, And damn sure he was never leaving again for that long anytime soon. You stood there in the crowd of parents and partners alike of the soldiers watching fondly as they were reunited with each other. It was a beautiful thing to see, something you’d experience once you could bloody find him. You tried searching for Chanwoo, but it was kind of hard in the sea of soldiers all wearing the same uniform. Suddenly though you felt yourself, engulfed in a big hug - familiar strong arms wrapping around you. You knew who it was without a doubt, so you throw your arms around him in return squeezing him so hard, trying to convey exactly how much you missed him. Only he knew because it was the same amount as he missed you, though it didn’t stop you from wrapping around him like cobra jaws. When you broke apart from the hug, you pulled him in for a long passionate kiss PDA be damned. “I’m so happy you’re back now.” You spoke up, eyes threatening to well up with tears in response to the overwhelming different feelings you felt. “I missed you too.” He sighed happily, keeping you tight in his arms.

iKON: when it becomes difficult for you

A/N: For more, read here~~

Jinhwan:

You are sitting at your desk, distracted by the bright, vivid green colours of the forest framed far outside the window. Each branch of twenty to thirty leaves illuminated with the pretty sunlight moves because of the resilient winds. Together, they look like nature has embalmed itself with glitter. Beyond the dancing leaves, you can see blue like the colour of the sea near the shore. When it washes the sands, it's white but when saying goodbye, it returns to it's beautiful light blue, reflecting the multitude skies.

You stare, continuously, perhaps lost in thought but none are with you, neither do any come to mind. When Jinhwan walks into the room, he's rather joyful but his expression becomes more mindful when he sees you sitting there. From his view, he's seeing your numbed expression, it's rather ambiguous and for a second he wonders if he should be here, with you. The tears that should come to you, an expressional, heavy gesture of your pain stop short.

They get swallowed by waves of breaths that are steady in rising and steady in falling. He gently grabs the chair and places it at a distance that's not too far from you. If the situation were reversed, you would kiss him, another expression of how much you love to see him happy. He lets his hand flop when he sits down on the hard chair and looks outside. Then does he notice the beauty; he's looking at a traffic-light officer looking- tree with white blossoms covering the entity of its existence (they only come out during summer).

He grasps your hand and you look at him, a smile barely there, faint yes, but for him to know that you are doing okay. The turbulent winds slow down for a second when he reaches over and caresses your cheek, the action pleasantly dilates your eyes with a flowing transparent liquid. Before you can completely turn your head away from him, he pulls you back to him with a soft tug of his voice, ''Look at me, everything is going to be alright.''.

Yunhyeong:

Song hugs you tightly and you have no choice but to look at him, from your position, he doesn't want to let you go even though you will still be with him, later. He's close, much closer than you think from escaping from the confines of his happiness that he wants to show you the best, that you may always remain happy. You lay on his shoulder as he kisses you, so softly that you instantly respond to the way he moves when he's with you.

You clench his jumper with both hands, squeezing your eyes shut, trying to feel him, all of him. You won't go anywhere, you try to pull away to tell him but neither of you say anything. When he pulls back and takes in a breath, lips trembling for the way you taste, he looks into your eyes with a deep tenderness, as if he loves you more than he loves everything else. You stay in his arms, straddling him, trying to form words but the look in his eyes produces no words from you.

You see warmth, perhaps a reflection of everything you two have ever been and will be, it's impossible to say what. Hurriedly, he links your lips and flips you over, gently laying your head over the pillows. When he sees the look of haze in your eyes, he smiles contentedly, thinking that he'll miss this, even if you remain in denial. So there is something missing in his eyes that prevents from showing a full smile. Your breath is taken away when he leans over you and this time he speaks up, he tells you to speak to him.

''Speak to me'' he says. You nod, sitting up, hugging him, telling him that maybe you are leaving. The sun grows brighter, engulfing the room just a little bit more than what it was at half before eleven. He asks you what you mean by maybe, cupping your head because he knows that you are fatigued by all the events surrounding you. The look in his eyes is listening, over the peacefulness in your room of soft colour and slanting ceiling that actually overlooks the flowing oceans. You love him.

Bobby:

''What should we do today?'' he asked before he had tugged your smiles and giggles along to a comic store. This was to get you out of the mental predicament of your horrible situation. Upon entering the store, you hear the soft soul music float through the peaceful silence. People are sinking into their bean bags, the faster they read the words in relation to the beat playing above head, the harder they sink into it, trouble ceasing from their beautiful minds unless it is prescribed in the books. You look around, surrounded by taller than ever stacks of books, up and sideways, you look one way and Jiwon looks the other, curiously.

Unintentionally, you tug him along to the seating, set on the comfiest corner, sighing in relief when you sit down. Squeezing your hand, he leans over, gently whispering in your ears, ''What do you want to eat?'' probing a small smile and words of magic that even Jiwon agrees too. As he leaves to grab your food, ambivalently you get up and face the rows of thin, tall, plastic-covered books. Jiwon glances at you to see how you're doing, snapping his head towards the staff when they call for him.

Your heart quickly pounds, running your fingers over the often worn-out plastic leads you to the end of the line, where you walk towards the huge window. It emanates bright light and you slowly walk towards it, stopping to let someone pass by. Within the brief pause, you've begun to lean to one side, clutching the tempered wood that reminded you of the hard seating they had in churches. Jiwon set the food down, softly calling out your name and leading you back to the table.

Patting your hair down, he asks you if you are alright, eliciting you to entwine your hands and ask if he could feed your hungry self. He chuckles, struggling to open the packet, eventually looking around before he pries it out open using his teeth, setting it down for you. You tell him how much you want to read something together and you laugh when he begins to think in mock thought that it would be hard to find something the both of you agree on. You burst into little giggles when someone looks your way, nestling into his jumper while he covers you, also struggling to hold his laughter in.

You say that it wasn't even that funny, yet he's holding it in because of the stare you gave him, it's playful yet he loves that you are irked or annoyed, anything that isn't remotely serious and will make you smile. He tries to get away from your pinches and little threats and his eyes widen when he hears how calm you sound. It's like you tell him to sober up but you're smiling and your voice is loving and he really doesn't want to sober up now. His legs shuffle closer to yours, he pulls you into his chest as he plugs in the earphones and you listen away, careful not to slurp your noodles too loud.

Hanbin:

Your mind is restless, you are agitated as you turn your head from side to side, thinking of sleep as it comes to you. The curtains shield you from any of your colleagues finding you but they filter in the street light that illuminates the darkness outside. The patient whose bed you are sitting by is Kim Hanbin, he is currently asleep by the fact that you can hear his soft snores, causing you to smile. He came in fatigued from overworking and it made you happy to know that he was recovering. The distinct shuffling of another patient in the same room alerts you but what scares you more is when Hanbin taps your shoulders.

You immediately get up, steadying your spinning head by holding onto the end, hesitating to form words and he pulls you back onto the bed because he can see that you are about to fall. You see him lean over and open the drawer, pulling out a tonic that when he hands over, he tells you, ''I'm sorry, it's kind of bitter'' and gently places it into your hands, he continues, ''But it'll help''. You nod and he shuffles in the dark, sitting up to watch you drink it all the way. He smiles at the bitterness of the drink that you flinch and squeeze your shoulders from, comprehending enough to take it back and toss it in the bin.

To you, there's disco lights floating in the hallways and dancing music playing when you get up and your body no longer hurts. He's still sleeping so you let him be till he rings the nurse call button and you rush out of your seat, heart pounding moments before you fling the curtains back. He smiles when he sees your shadow shuffling, no doubt that hesitating nature of yours at play. It's night again, the birds are chirping upside down, he's sitting beside you, listening to your thoughts about today. You pause when he takes your hands in his, it's automatic since he's been wanting to hold that for a while.

He meets your eyes, there's the truck that is waiting outside which shines light through the window and from the table he hands you an orange. You missed the way his breath hitched when he saw you staring, the way his hands fumbled at the back before he caught yours in his and how there's an entire packet of oranges in the drawer, not including the two on the table. As you unwrap it, you ask him a question about himself which he hesitates to answer but does so anyway. In the morning, his mother and sister come to visit him and they bring this cake for him.

He walks out into the hallway filled with the chaos of running shoes but manages to spot you amongst the crowd so he waits patiently till you come back. You spot his messy hair and anxious behaviour to an elderly woman who starts a conversation with him but most of all, you chuckle when you see the distinctive, yellow bandage on his cheek. He's had it since he first came in. These memories are distinct, easier to pick out because of the emotion that had flown in with them. You are sat at the very end of the hospital, tucked away safely in the comfort of each other's arms. He's telling you what he first thought of you as he presses your leg to ease the pain you are feeling from running around all day.

Junhoe:

Running along the canal, you take in deep breaths when the soft music that comes in does nothing to fuel your endurance. Your chest burns and you are trying to adapt to the excess ache and pain of the burn that has stretched your muscles out. You heave as you sit down and a few moments later, Junhoe catches up with you, panting as he takes a seat. While you catch your breath, Junhoe wants to say something but he doesn't, causing the both of you to laugh when he waives it away.

You are sitting on opposite sides of the bench, leaning on the hand rail and leaning all your weight on it. While you look ahead, many others litter the tracks further down, away from the lake in front. It glistens with the bright pines of the sun's rays, reflecting the dog's reflection as it steadily laps at it. Yesterday, it was darkened by the reflection of the heavier clouds, giving it the image of ruined tracks or the feeling of being burned-out.

''We shouldn't have sat down'' Junhoe points out, his dismay clear as he struggles to get up, especially with you laughing. You had already started to feel unsure, you lacked the creative energy in the morning to go out but Junhoe had showed up, unusually on time and in just the right clothes. You had chuckled, nodding before he could ask, leaving the door open as you left to change. The he had suggested that you run a distance you could not fathom, you were feeling a drag, this holding back, to stay in the comfort of your house.

You had simply said yes, regret was too late for words by the time he had started, multiple times you had thought of stopping but not once did you say anything. He asks if you want to run but then reveals the truth because he has already known how you've been feeling. Surprise as your expression belittles his knowledge as he carefully explains to you how he knows. He suggests that you don't run but instead walk with him to which it only occurs after you express your interest in it.

There is amiability to walking with him, his hand gently holds onto yours. His grasp is loose, softly caressing the skin as wind blows away the limits of humidity, letting out collective sighs from the two of you. He comments on the weather and you laugh in agreement, linking arms with him. Such a slow pace to see the ducks gather around a traveller giving them food eases you, affection coating your eyes as you stare. When you get home, you tell him that you'd rather go to sleep but he keeps you awake with his countless poetic ideas and the thought of food before it can arrive.

Donghyuk:

''What's wrong- tell me'' he says, voice not as soft as it was the first time and spoken with determination- like the last straw as if he had made his mind up to help you. You nod but you don't move from your space on the sofa. You absent-mindedly stare at the skyscrapers far removed from your balcony but today, not that far away. The city is bustling, you know it without even having to look down.

Donghyuk looks at where you were looking and lets out a sigh, heavily, as he heads to the kitchen, stuttering around the cut vegetables and a pan on the unlit stove. Your phone, on, is laid near the stove which he traces the steps all the way to the carpet, areas ruffled where your knees had sunk into. Fingerprints coat the glass table on the carpet, the painting is hung sideways and what looks like stray pieces of glass on the floor.

He threads the carpet, slowly taking you into his arms, like the questions, what can I do for you? To make you happy, what can I do for you? In the reflection, you have no answer. There is an uncertain silence from Donghyuk who holds you, his voice also lost to the undulated sways you emanate in your reflection. In the silence he can not stand, he takes you outside to the bright lights dropping on quivering leaves and rugged stones for heavier walking.

Your steps falter slightly behind him, your questioning gaze staring up at him like a switch that has been turned on, you halt. He turns back and smiles and you wonder why. The truth is right in front of him, on you, when you raise your hand to cover your eyes from the shifting sun rays thus further showing him what he had needed to see from the start. It is like a piece, one-show but he knows that he can always come back to find it. It is best described as a smile.

Chanwoo:

Grabbing the laptop, you detach the charger, lifting it off the table and laying it onto the bed. You listen for the creaks and groans on the wooden floor outside your office whilst biting your lip, trying to concentrate on completing two things at once. You pull your laptop stand from its place, closing it, almost throwing it against the bookshelf. A thud, foreign to the silence outside, speeds up your heart rate, further drying your mouth.

You hold your breath, baiting whoever is peering inside with light steps like moving around the room to pull out books for references. You sit down; nothing leaves your sight. You pull out your laptop, open it, select files with clammy hands. You think about how the clamminess is a distraction, something you need not think about now and so you pressed on. A slip of frustration, a sigh of discontent escapes you as your fingers slip across the motherboard.

The ultimate hitch precluding the blue skies and warm laughter of children is when Chan knocks on the door, not expecting to see you twitch in your seat. He narrows his eyes at the movement, never having seen you so restless in the time of your love. With burdensome footsteps, he walks towards you, meeting your smile with a smile, gleefully. You feel as if he has skipped over to you, similar to the beginning. When he looks at your screen, his pupils dilate, he holds your seat, pulling you back.

There is faint tension in the air, nothing matters right now more than the darkness of the room. The silence is impenetrable as if he is to ask how you are doing but it would only sour the mood. As you move away from him to greet him, he pulls you by your shoulders, holding you in place as he kisses the top of your forehead. He can see the home screen, all tabs closed and mouse astray. You have frozen from neck to torso, just like how your legs are stuck to the chair and feet to the ground. Aimlessly, you look over at the ball-pen, waiting to be written with.

He squeezes your shoulders, telling you, ''Are you okay? You don't look well.''. You nod, sighing as you finally turn to him, wrapping your arms around him, sighing in relief to see him. As if the preceding event to the main, he lightly cards his fingers through your hair, lifting you off the seat. Had you not been so focused, your attention turned astray, you would have quickly removed the weapon under your desk. But you can not help it, because even you are not unsurpassable. He leads you out, where the steels click around your wrists, binding them together.

IKON TV Episode One: Behind The Scenes

Right now, you’re walking to the YG dorms to relax with your boyfriend and his group as it’s been a while since you last saw him due to all their growing success and long schedules. You brought along some jajangmyeon for everyone as you’ve been craving it recently and thought the boys would be hungry from today’s concert. You reach the dorm and Jinhwan lets you in as he takes the takeout from your hand and closes the door behind you.

He puts the food on the living room table and both of you sit down on the couch when he asks you, “how’ve you been y/n-ie?"

You smile cutely as you respond with, "I've been pretty good, school’s been such a pain but I’m pushing through it. Plus I've missed my favourite boys,” I say with a cheeky smile and a shove to Jinnie's shoulder. “How are you guys? Being global sensations and all” you asked while pushing his shoulder, teasing him.

He laughs at your statement and responds with “It’s good, seeing the fans, performing, being on stage but I do enjoy moments where we can sit back and look at how far we’ve come with all our hard work.” “I get that. We should probably eat before the food gets cold.”

With that, Jinhwan went to get the boys as you went to the bathroom to wash up to eat. When you get out Yunhyeong, Chanwoo, Jiwon and Hanbin are sitting on the couch. “Noona, I can’t believe you bought us food. Thanks. You’re so sweet to us,” Chanwoo says as you sit down next to Hanbin. “You don’t have to thank me, I just want to make sure you boys aren’t starving yourselves.”

“Our little maknae is so cute,” Bobby says as he pinches Chan’s check. “Yah, stop that. I’m not a child.”

Junhoe, Jinhwan and DK enter the living room as the rest of you guys remove the plastic off the food and start eating. “Y/N-ah, did you hear we’re self-producing our own tv show,” Jiwon asks. “Really, that sounds exciting. Kinda like Going Seventeen or Run BTS.

“Exactly like that but we get to film, choose our own activities and well you get to see my face so for that reason we’re better than all those other shows out there.

“What is it called?” You asked. “IKON TV,” Jiwon replies, “We’re actually starting filming today.”

You turn to Hanbin and hit him in the shoulder gently, of course, you can't bruise your baby. “Yah, Hanbin-ah how could you not tell me you were filming today?” “I don’t see the big deal. Besides I wanted to see you,” he says as he pulls you in for a sidearm hug and kisses you on the temple. You put your head on his shoulder in response, “look at Hanbin-ie, being so cute to his girlfriend.” “Are you trying to say I’m not always cute to my girlfriend? Who wouldn’t be? Look at this cute face,” Hanbin says as he squeezes your cheeks together making your lips pout. “Knock it off Hanbin-ah,” you say as you remove his hands from your face and cutely pout at him. The boys laugh and continue eating.

The sounds of slurping and swallowing are going through the room while you all idly chat about school, new songs, fan meets, anything under the sun really. Even though you’re dating Hanbin the rest of the boys are like your brothers and if you needed anything they would be there for you and vice versa.

“Wah, that was so good. It really hit the spot,” Yunhyeong says as he sits back in, “thanks Y/N.” “No problem guys, but as I said, I just want to make sure you’re all good.”

Eventually, you all go your separate ways in the dorm and you and B.I head to his room as he closes the door and he pulls you into his lap. He sits there with his hands wrapped along your waist as he admires you deeply. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in so long,” he says quietly just enough for you to hear but not for anyone else to. “I know. I miss my talented rapper-songwriter”

“I’m serious baby, I missed you. A lot.” It makes your stomach flutter to hear him be so honest but you know it’s true. Both of you have been extremely busy; you with your last semester of university and him with ikon so, you understand that being separate at moments of your relationship is required in both of your lives. “And I missed you too,” which of course is true but you know he wants to hear you say it, you know he's just insecure as this is his first real relationship so you make sure he knows you love and care for him.

He leans in as you meet him halfway in a short and sweet kiss, and another, and another before you stop him with, “as much as I love kissing you, don’t you have to film soon?” “Yea, but that can wait. I want more time with my girl,” he tries to kiss you once more but you pull away and place your finger on his lips. “Ah, ah, go film,” with that you get off his lap and force him to stand up but being a whiny little baby he jokes by saying, “yah, so you don’t love me anymore y/n-ie.” “Stop being an idiot Hanbin-ah.” You push him slightly towards the door and he shoots you finger hearts as he walks out.

You lay back on his bed for a few minutes until you decide you want the coolness of the ground so you roll off and lay on the floor as Hanbin walks back into his room to see you on the floor. “You do know there’s a camera up there,” he says as he points at the corner of his ceiling where a go-pro films you, more importantly, you decide to lay on a cold hard floor instead of a comfy bed. “How awkward,” and even though you said that it didn’t prompt you to leave the floor.

“Yeah, a bit of an invasion of privacy but we’ll make the most of it.” He proceeds to take off his shirt which confuses you, “I didn’t know you were into that stuff.” He looks down at you puzzled by your dirty mouth especially since you were being recorded. He nudges you sightly with his food and responds with, “it’s not like that, dirty girl I’m gonna work out, but you can help me if want.”

You sit up wondering how could you help him workout but if this means seeing him shirtless longer you didn’t really mind. He positions you perpendicular to the bed and lays you back down on the floor then, he positions himself to use the bed as support to do his pushups over you. “You’re my motivation so, you’re gonna lay there and look pretty, which you always are,” he gives you that cute smile you love, “and every time I come down you give me a kiss, okay?” Surprised by his boldness especially with the cameras here you still nod at his proposal.

He does about thirty pushups and for each one he gives you a sweet and short kiss that makes you want to kiss him more. Even though the cameras are recording this it still feels like you guys are in this little world that nothing and no one can penetrate. Being so busy with your own lives, these are the moments you cherish the most so when does the last pushup you give him an extra kiss and he blushes as he turns away from the camera and moves on to the pull-up bar. You sit up and lean against his bed as you admire his back muscles thinking about how your attractive boyfriend is reeling in all types of fans with the show he’s putting on. His workout continues for the next hour but you decide to take a shower and do your skincare since you leave some of your stuff at the dorm for when you stay over.

When you come back Hanbin is now lying on the floor tired, he then complains about being sweaty and gets up to take a shower while he brings his camera as well. Eventually, you hear the shower running which made think of giving ikonics a peek they would like so, you sneak into the bathroom, grab the camera Hanbin left on the counter and started recording yourself at first. You whisper into the camera, “hey ikonics, hope you’re in for a treat.” That’s when he heard you, “what are you doing in here baby?” You make sure to cover the bottom half of the camera so it doesn’t become that type of video and reply with, “I wanna give ikonics a present.” You flip the camera and blow a kiss at the camera then, flip it back towards Hanbin.

He tries to move around which could be problematic, “don’t move! Just say I love you, ikonics,” you prompt him. He puts his arms up into a heart and repeats what you said, “love you, ikonics,” he also draws a heart in the steamy glass door which makes you laugh. You flip the camera back on you and end the recording with, “love you ikonics, hoped you enjoy that scene.” You whisper the next part so Hanbin doesn’t hear, “I’ll try and film sneaky things like that when I can.” You stop the recording and left Hanbin to finish his shower and went to lay down in his bed.

A few moments later he comes back and quickly gets dressed in boxers and sweats so, he can lay down in the bed with you. He wraps his body around you by putting his arms and legs around your torso and shoulders. He kisses you on the temple then asks you, “are you okay?” You turn to him confused why he’d asked that. “Why wouldn’t I be, are you okay?”

“Yea I just wanted to make sure you weren’t uncomfortable with all the cameras and stuff invading our space.” Look at your baby being so cute and considerate, damn you love him to bits but, you do understand why he’d ask that. If you were with someone else you wouldn’t know if they’d stay in such an invasive environment but you love Hanbin, Ikon and all their fans so you wouldn’t change your life one bit.

You squish his face and tell him, “I wouldn’t change this for anything because all of this comes with being with you and I love being with you so yea, I’m good.” You gently brush your lips against his and give him a gentle kiss. He then unwraps his body from yours to grab the television remote from the bedside table and turn on Netflix. “So Sisyphus or Men on a Mission?” Not even a second was needed to think about this simple decision which is, “Men on a Mission, obviously.” He smiles at you as he starts the show and pulls you back into his chest where you snuggle yourself into and eventually both of you fall asleep to the sounds of laughter.

Silver looks around, processing the reality she lives in. She has been meaning to come back the moment she left, yet the years she spent away were still too many than what she would’ve personally preferred. She wants to say nothing has changed, that everything is exactly like how she left it, and— although it holds true on the surface, she knows it no longer runs deep.

Silver recognizes the place she once called home, but she doubts if she still knows it like she used to.

She dares to thread on the familiarity she refuses to let go of. She no longer holds confidence for the fulfillment of his promise, a fault she can’t blame anyone else, but either her stubbornness or desperation fuels her courage to hope nonetheless.

Silver knows the hypocrisy behind hoping without expecting. Yet, for the sake of everything she values, she opts to convince herself to lower any unrecognized expectations she may have.

donghyuk replied: Just tell me when.

She doesn’t expect him to see her inquiry, much less reply. Still, regardless of the fact that he answered seconds after she let her heart win, as if he has been waiting for her signal ever since, she maintains her stance.

She simply can’t afford to feel gravely disappointed. Not when the years she spent away kept on making it more difficult to come back. Not when she barely managed to find a good enough excuse to come back. Especially not when it took everything in her power just to come back.

shieun replied: Twelve hours.

Silver realizes the unfairness of her own thoughts. She herself has changed whilst away, no longer being the same exact person that left, thus she can’t possibly hope for her home to not move on without her.

Hell, she doesn’t even know if her home is still hers.

"How does it feel to be back?" She turns, locking eyes with the personified proof of her life after her plane out of South Korea took off.

"It’s . . . strange." The moment her plane left the runway all those years ago was the same second she realized the actual weight of the bargain she chose. Unwanted isolation is inevitable in the path paved specifically for her, but Lucas couldn’t care any less. "I can’t tell whether things have changed or not. It’s . . ."

He’s her polar opposite, in more ways than one. Amongst other things, his upbringing bestowed him the freedom she still has to fight for. "Just think about the present."

Silver lets out a soundless chuckle. She doesn’t mean to doubt him because she knows he means well, but it’s difficult to focus on the present when she’s simultaneously seeing her past.

Frankly, she doesn’t think she’s ready for whatever is stored for her beyond Incheon International Airport’s perimeter. At this point, everything is years way overdue — and yet, she knows no amount of time could’ve prepared her for anything that’s to come.

Every step she takes — every breath, every thought — brings her back to what once was. The familiarity feels overwhelming, especially with the pain her last memories of her home come with.

"Sorry!" It’s a force of habit, a slip of tongue, an instinct she developed over the years of frequently bumping onto people accidentally — regardless of who is at fault. It takes her a second to realize she isn’t the one to blame and another to notice the language she spoke in. "I’m sorry."

Still, the sudden force of impact isn’t strong enough to completely bring her out of her thoughts. She wonders what her reality will be, with the burden of restrictions and explanations. She wonders if there is really a sort of protection in hoping without expecting.

She wonders if Donghyuk will actually pick her up, as he promised all those years ago.

"Silver, are you okay?" Lucas’ unexpected utterance in Korean, his second language that he rarely uses, surprises her enough to break her trance. "You look like you’re about to cry."

Silver instantaneously becomes hyperaware of everything around her. She can hear planes roaring their engines before taking off; vehicle tires rolling against the ground with each speed; strangers’ feet hitting the pavement as they move around her.

Life continues on, even if she hasn’t. Not really.

She wants to deny the tears she can feel threatening to fall, but she can’t — not when she can tell they’re inevitable. "I—"

She wants to say, "I don’t want to cry," but the rest of her words got stuck in her throat.

Silver has pondered upon the first thing she’ll say if Donghyuk actually fulfills his promise. She has weighted her options for most of the flight’s duration, but eventually disregarded her own just-in-case preparations as an excuse to expect.

Still, she finds irony in how fate has played.

"Silver Seven?" For the figure that bumped onto her happens to be the only person that addresses her as such — which, coincidentally, is the same individual she has been hoping to see before she even boarded the plane.

Just then, Silver’s barely audible "Donghyuk" cues the inevitable.

He’s not the jealous type, so the idea of you promoting with a sexy concept isn’t going to drive him crazy. But, he is the dorkiest boyfriend about it and acts accordingly.

He’d watch your music videos and performances with you, making small comments either teasing your expressions or moves or just saying things to easily fluster you. He would tell you all the things he loves about the concept, more specifically how well you pull it off. He’d be genuinely amazed at your duality, how easily you can go from cute to sexy and right back in the blink of an eye. Overall, he’s a proud boy.

Besides his initial shock, he’d be you’re hype man. Every glance you took towards the camera, every move you made, whether you’re standing or dancing, every word that left your mouth, would be followed by Bobby cheering you on, much to your embarrassment. As always, Hanbin is the supportive yet overprotective boyfriend.

He always brought up how a sexy concept would be perfect for you, mostly to be teasing and flirtatious, but it was never a lie. His mind would trail to the outfits you’ll wear, the kind of dances you’ll do, and even the lyrics you’ll be given. It was a magical fantasy to him.

The day your group released teaser photos for your comeback, the concept a lot more provocative than he thought, the once exhilarating idea became not so thrilling.

Was he prepared to watch his girlfriend become a national sex symbol? Probably not.

But, the way you talked about how much you loved the outfits, the way the title song felt so natural for you than your previous ones, he knew he couldn’t do anything else but be happy for you.

Donghyuk/DK

The third proudest boyfriend but number one when it comes to attentiveness.

He’d practice with you whenever possible, but it’s almost always him just watching you dance, giving your all and being happy while doing it. He always joked that everything you did was sexy, a semi-truth from him seeing as you were overall adorable, but this concept solidified his statement.

He wasn’t worried about fanboys or people suddenly finding you sexy because, in reality, you were sexy, and he knows you can’t hide that so why not show it off?

He loved the idea of you doing a sexy concept but, the idea that your predominantly male fan base got to see a side of you that only he knew, made him rethink his feelings.

Junhoe isn’t really one to show his emotions much but he buries his feelings so far down that they somehow seem to gush right out of him, his bitterness written on his face as he cutely whined to you about his problems with the comeback, the only you can do is hold back laughter as you listen.

“What if you have back up dancers and they have to touch you? Are they male? What does the choreography look like? Hey, why are you laughing?”

Sure, the relationship was still a secret, but he wasn’t afraid to cause a scene if he felt things went too far, watching each and every performance closely.

Chanwoo/Chan

‘Whatever makes you happy makes him happy’

That was his motto.

So, when it came time for your comeback, the concept a sexy one rather than the mildly cute one with seductive undertones that your group previously did, he wasn’t fazed by it.

Of course, he was positively captivated by it, almost as if he was meeting a different you from a different universe, savoring the month long promotion as much as he could.

He would be shy and stumble on his words trying to find a rational response when you ask what he thought of it, only producing a meek ‘I love it’, but regaining his composure just enough to finding a way to joke about it somehow.

[✿] — TAEIL loves cozy nights-in where you can spend some quality time together. cooking a meal together while partaking in a fancy, expensive wine is beautifully intimate to him. a simple yet romantic candle-lit dinner and afterwards, he’s more than happy to watch a movie or listen to music, and perhaps have a nice conversation but mostly just enjoying each other’s presence. he just loves how these kinds of dates are romantic but also still has that comfy sense of feeling ‘at home’ with a loved one.

[✿] — JOHNNY’s favorite kinds of dates are ones where you can go with the flow while also being able to enjoy the surrounding; a museum date where you can relax while wandering through, but also able to appreciate the art collection/historic artifacts, or a stroll through a picturesque town or city; eating ice cream, and talking about anything and everything while exploring the place.

[✿] — JAEHYUN loves amusement park or arcade dates. he loves the thrill, the excitement, and the playful competitiveness. he also finds these kinds of dates stress-relieving. he enjoys challenging you to different games at the arcade and after you spend all the coins, the loser has to buy food for both. or amusement park dates where you team up together to win a prize at every booth and then kissing on top of the ferris wheel or holding hands and playfully messing with each other while riding the merry-go-round.

[✿] — MARK doesn’t really have a favorite type of date in mind, but usually it’s the crazy, unexpected ones that end up becoming his favorites. random dates like deciding to play hide-and-seek in the shopping mall, or suddenly playing a tag game where you run through busy places. or ordering an extremely spicy meal and laughing through tears together because neither of you can finish it. or shopping dates where you become each other’s stylists and make the other try on the craziest (and coolest) outfits. those are his favorite kinds of dates.

[✿] — HAECHAN’s idea of a perfect date is similar to taeil’s but with a more chaotic atmosphere. you make dinner together; and that includes just a bit of actual cooking, and a whole lot of dance and karaoke parties in the kitchen and making out on the counters. you eat while watching a movie but you end up talking over it every single time and by the time the movie ends, you’re both clueless about what happened. then you play games (video games, board games, card games, etc.) for the whole night until morning and you watch the sunrise before drifting off to sleep together.
