Okay, so Ollie is really Clara, cool. Although when you throw in the 6 missing years of memories it confuses the hell out of me, because we didn’t have a time-jump. So, did they put Clara’s mods into Ollie or Ollie’s skin onto Clara while wiping one’s or the other’s memories? Anyway, it’s doesn’t matter, it at least a plausible explanation and of course Clara would get herself into that shit because of trying to make things right and being pissed at skinning peeps.

(Never mind, my brain just can’t process the science, but it’s plausible enough to not bother me. Besides, they might give us further explanation later – as the characters haven’t found what really happened yet, either.)

I liked Turin figuring out they need to recruit more hands, nerds in particularly. And I really liked that, although on one hand D’avin and Turin were right about Zeph’s inadaptability being dangerous, Dutch is right to in recognising the necessity of her brand of knowledge + stubbornness and deciding to keep her on the ‘team’ on the side regardless. Plus, we don’t need this show to become an all-boys show, so yay for more girls.

As it has been speculated, Delle Seyah is alive, captured by Aneela. I assume she isn’t Hullen’d yet, but Aneela probably plans to Hullen her. The dynamics between the two shall be interesting.

And yay for Dutch & Johnny reunion. Also Lucy’s statement that she would have rusted if she could cry re: missing Johnny was best.

[Killjoys 3.02]

I liked this episode more than the last one, they slowed down the bombardment of information a bit, and put some interesting character stuff in.

Plus the explanation for why Ollie has basically the same personality as Clara makes me forgive them for giving Ollie the same personality as Clara.

I will miss the original actress though.

And of course I’m really happy that Johnny’s home.

And I loved Lucy’s reaction of “If I could cry I would have rusted.”, Lucy has the BEST lines.

I just hope Delle Seyah realizes that being in the belly of the beast isn’t actually terribly good for her after all.

On the other hand the idea of a real team-up between her and Aneela is actually rather terrifying... but honestly I can’t see Aneela sharing the power and I can’t see Delle Seyah doing anything but chafing against that, so there’s hope yet.

Clara? Clara! You changed! That explains why Clara and Ollie are pretty similar, lol. If no one writes tropey amnesia fic featuring a memory jammer, fandom will have let me down once again. I don't think I understood from Clara's story last season that *all* Hackmods were made against their wills? This story has gotten extra depressing. TURIN: You two going to solve all that with your shitty cologne and sexual tension?" D'AVIN: I smell great. One, I love that D'avin is ready to bicker with any long-haired misanthrope willing to flirt back. Two, does he not remember entering the ship? Is he a sleeper agent? Why would he be keeping quiet wth. Three, I love D'avin's pouty comedy face it ia a bulletproof laugh for me. Four they shouted out the sexual tension! More than once! I'm just going to slink off to my table of one and eat that up. Also their dorky little high five after telling Turin they blew up the data, omg. Hannah John-Kamen's unhinged alien queen face makes me want to hide in fear. But in a good way. So far this season is doing a less awkward job with the ties between weekly plot and season plot and general mythology. Last season having all the warrants be mythology-related an unconvincing lack of subtlety. But this season should be less about exposing the Big Bad and more about fighting it, anyway? Hmmn. Johnny! The band is back together! This show has the best hugs, am I right or am I right.
