Summary: You were used to having vivid dreams, whether they were good dreams or nightmares. Despite them being too real at times, you know they were just dreams. You can even easily command your brain to wake up in the middle of it if you want to.

But for days, something seems to be amiss. You never experienced this before, however, you keep on seeing the same person. His black hair, doe eyes and scrawny body, injured and moaning in pain. He was chained to a poll, hidden under the house, on the dark and moist basement.

he'd always been the type to be well-prepared. focused. he already had his reservation booked.

in a month's advance.

a gift, wrapped and prepared in a neat box.

I picked it out weeks ago.

and he liked to think he represented himself rather nicely this evening, wearing a black tie - a collared shirt he picked straight from the dry cleaners. he even had lee convince him that buying a new, tailored suit was the way to go.

to keep the relationship as fresh as it can be.

he had at least one or two before - but they weren't as circumstantial, and they weren't as...

challenging.

he originally picked out a modest restaurant - small, and didn't have too much going on in the background.

but bum said that he always wanted to do things more outside his comfort zone - just a thing that he mentioned one time when they really started dating.

so, he went slightly outside his budget - the restaurant that he chose was flashy, where the ceiling shimmered gold and the table cloth was embroidered with lace. hell, even the finger food was pricy - so much so that he had to shakily adjust his glasses to see if it was even true.

if anything, he was the one who stepped out his comfort zone. but, he was going to hold his tongue, firm and completely shut.

he checked his watch, and then checked the one that sat at the upper edge of the wall. he also looked at his phone.

where was he?

clack. clack. clack.

he looked up.

he nearly bit off his tongue.

if he hadn't recognized his mischievous smirk - he would of thought it was someone else.

bum strutted to the table, the long hair swaying against his back, and he had on a laced black dress that barely reached his knees - leaving a little to be imagined.

so much to explore.

his lips were too bright a red and when he brushed off his fringe - his eyelids were shaded in black.

more than simply sitting himself down, he made a show of it - daintily crossing his legs, never wavering from the occasional glances that he received from other men.

...can't they keep their eyes off?

seungbae loosened his tie, forcing himself to only to focus on him.

"...surprised?" bum asked, looping his finger through a singular hair strand.

"...no." seungbae swallowed.

trying to resume the evening that he planned so meticulously, crumbled the moment that he came in so modelesque - an orbit that wilfully controlled the attention around him whether he was truly aware or not.

bum being a messy eater didn't retract from the fact that he couldn't stop looking at every leg movement - the dress would reveal more of what was up there.

conversation was scarce - his tastebuds were already saturated. by the time desert came around, he became deathly quiet.

"...seungbae," bum said, licking the corners of chocolate cake off his mouth.

...oh.

"...something wrong?"

he was teasing him with questions that he should already know the answer to.

once the meal was done, gift still within his grasp, they walked out of the restaurant - but not without mild protest.

"oh. is the night over already?" bum muttered, his hand brushing over seungbae's fingers.

bum even used the perfume that he'd bought for himself - it was sickly sweet, and it stung his nose. his own scent was used against him.

when they made it to his car, promptly pushing his seat forward - bum just couldn't help himself. making snide comments...

"why are you so tense?"

because of you.

"...oh, is it because of me?"

his fingers tensed up on the steering wheel.

"don't worry. I'm giving you permission to look..."

he was done. he'd already found a desolate location to park - putting the car to rest - ripping off his own seatbelt.

he couldn't make sense of it - any of it.

before he knew it - he was on top of bum - ravaging most of his lipstick off - hand pushed against his window as steam started to fill the car.

everything was becoming undone - why?

he couldn't help it - the lipstick felt so good, and it felt even better when it started to smear all over his shoulder - the man groaning underneath him.

and if it is, why bother?

the pain that he received on his back had dulled long before - too bad.

he could only make him take it over, and over, and over and over...

and when he finally finished - he found himself to be in a state he has been in many times since being with bum.

but not to this degree.

"...bum, are you..."

bum was still catching his breath, wiping the dried tears that had deteriorated most of his makeup.

"I-I'm okay..." bum coughed out, but he wasn't that convinced.

he went back onto his seat, and took the gift that he was meant to give bum plenty ago.

"I'm sorry. I should of gave this to you first..."

bum opened it, and it was a pendent necklace - one that contained a green jade with a frog attached to it.

"o-oh. its beautiful..."

awkwardly slipping back on his shirt, he added, "...I'd also meant to say that you looked beautiful."

that was what he was meant to say, before his head went stupidly blank...

"thank you..." bum muttered, shyly turning his neck so seungbae could put it on for him.
