KILLER WORKOUT- 1987 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Killer Workout (also known as Aerobocide) is a very silly and very fun 80s slasher.
Rhonda Johnson is badly burned by a tanning machine. 5 years later her twin sister is now the manager of the gym when its customers start being killed in horrific fashion by a mysterious killer armed with a big pin!
The movie completely fails to be even remotely scary at any point but does have a lot of redeeming qualities.
The music is brilliant!
Its a lot of fun trying to keep up with the confusing plot and terrible acting that haunt this film from start to finish. The cop working the case is dumb as a box of rocks and very amusing to watch.
There are a few unexpected action sequences that stole the show. Fist fights just come out of nowhere in this film and were probably my favourite part of it.
Also, roughly every ten minutes it cuts back to watching an aerobics class where they almost exclusively do moves that look like shagging while curious beefcakes watch on from the sidelines its insane.
This film would be perfect in a double feature with 1988's "Death Spa".
Had a blast watching this silly movie, will look forward to rewatching again sometime.
