Eddie Munson would have had a total blast watching Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Too bad he died before it came out.
I will not be taking questions.

Hello Cipher :) hope you're doing fine!!
We've never been a horror fan but recently been feeling the urge, we even asked for some horror recs from you and been going down that list. Thank you so much for that!!
But sorry to come with some horror slander.
A couple nights back we finally sat down and watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the first one because of course we have to go over some classics, and it was so silly and kinda boring lol.
Guess we can see why it was scary back then but now it jut needs the Jackety sax so the chase scenes can be a comedy.
Our concern is, should we give the other sequels/remakes a try?
We certainly didn't love the movie but still had fun idk how to explain it, or should we go iver more classics like Halloween and such?
You're the expert here :)
Let me see if I can answer some horror asks.
So, I guess coming out swinging but I guess TCM doesn't do it for everyone. I think for sure you'll have a good time with TCM2, it's much more deliberately weird and silly, and goes over the top in ways few movies did at the time. Dennis Hopper chainsaw fight, okay?
Going of this, I'd say skip anything pre-1980. Very few of those movies are gonzo weird stuff like it sounds is your interest. I think you would get a kick out of a lot of 80s cult classics like Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Brain Damage, Terrorvision, that sort of thing. Not to keep beating the same drum but if you dig into Frank Henenlotter's filmography you'll probably have a good time. On the modern side try Joe Begos as a jumping off point. Most of his work isn't quite to my taste, but it's very visually enticing and has kind of the cult 80s classic style to it.

Lamé question to ask I know😭 but what is ur least favorite thing about kkfos ? if u have one
THAT ITS NOT LONG ENOUGH-
Kidding, while I do wish it was longer, my actual favorite thing are the amount of plot holes in the movie.
Now listen, I love this movie with all my heart and you can bet your ass I would immediately buy a midnight release ticket for a KKFOS remake movie, but my god the amount of plot holes are kinda frustrating.
First of all, when and where did the Klowns find Joe Lombardo to have him hung up in a cocoon? And why did Mike randomly drop a radio once he discovered Joe?
And the fact that the college and drive-in movie theater were mentioned but there were no scenes where the Klowns definitely attacked there (Honestly would’ve loved to see more big attack scenes in the movie)
And when Dave was about to attack the Terenzi brothers because he thought they were Killer Klowns, when they looked NOTHING like a klown. It would’ve made since if they were dressed up like clowns to fit the theme of their ice-cream truck, but that wasn’t the case.
And the Big Top Burger scene. I’m not talking about Jumbo trying to lure out the little girl and failing, or Jumbo sprinkling Klown eggs in the garbage bin. I’m talking about the two ladies talking about eating at the Big Top. When they start off saying, “Y’know, this is not as fun as it used to be.” “It is if you’re the winners!” Like what does that even mean? Winners of what? It would’ve made sense if she said “It is if you’re not the one paying for it.” I would just like that to be elaborated on.
That’s what I didn’t like at the top of my head, but I would love to hear what you may not of liked about the movie!

“Along with the City of Durham, we have made major investments in the Carolina Theatre for the comfort and safety of our guests during our closure,” says Randy McKay, the Carolina Theatre’s President & CEO. “That includes tens of thousands of dollars in new state of the art HVAC upgrades from Global Plasma Solutions (GPS) that remove biohazards, pollen, and other contaminants to make our air as pure — and sometimes purer — than outdoor air.”  The theater has also earned a Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation for its cleaning practices to ensure that guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.  “Together, these cleaning practices and advanced air filtration make the Carolina Theatre one of the safest spaces to attend a film or live event in the region,” says McKay.  [source]

I think Jumbo would naturally smell like a mix of super sweet bubblegum and sour blue raspberry candy (the really sugary ones that smell TART) 🍬
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think Bibbo would smell like churros. Just straight-up cinnamon and sugar. MAYBE a little citrus, too.

Joe would probably smell like flowers and rain. I have a headcanon he likes the "simpler things in life," and that includes resting in a bed of really good smelling flowers ☺️🌺💐

A COLLECTION OF TUMBLR PROFILE COVER PHOTOS -- IT ALL BEGINS RIGHT HERE.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on a handful of mostly horizontal illustrations that I've used as Tumblr cover photos in the month of June -- everything from pizza, flamingos, and the ladies of G.I. Joe...to killer klowns, cult Japanese metal punk, and Marvel's Elder Gods. Somethimg for everyone!
Anyway, I'm thinking of turning these old pics into a series of sorts, for reasons of posterity, I guess, and it beats just tossing these out forever instead of documenting them, if you will, over a website like Tumblr. The journey begins here, people!
