Today I got to shock that teens don't know about Brum.

When I was a kid probably around 4 years old. there was BRUM on tv. My childhood hero car !!!

The quality back then was so much better than kids get to see these days. Just look at these gifs!

Please, people share Brum with the world.

By the way, this was all made between 1991 and 2002. Can you believe it?

(follow up on my previous post sort of) I personally think many of the (modern) serpentine characters would have different occupations from those they have now. (a lot of this is headcanon stuff and yap)

Acidicus: Librarian / Historian. They're really the only one who kind of succeeded in gaining this in the end. (also I HC that during the period in the tombs they would write documents on what they witness in the serpentine wars and tombs.

Fangtom: Engineer / mechanic With how much the Fangpyre are associated with using their venom to turn vehicles into snake vehicles I personally hc he would have a fascination for them, or at least some kind of interest in creating stuff

Skalidor: Construction worker. While the main jist of his character is that he's "the dumb one" I believe he's smarter than other people realise. I think he'd know a lot about building and constructing things and also would value having living spaces for his tribe and the serpentine in general. Skales: Okay he's kind of a unique one because I think he'd be so invisted in the cause of a revenge for the serpentine, even when he was younger that once he achieves his ambition he kind of becomes aimless with nothing else do.

Pythor: Con-artist. Even if he weren't tainted by insanity through sitting in the tombs for years he's still kind of self-serving so idk I think that's what he'd do. But his possiblities could be very broad since his behaviours are (similarly to Skales) very dictated by punishing the humans for the trouble they caused them. Selma: Therapist. Maybe a hypno-therapist using her hypnosis for a good cause. I feel like she's a very emotionally inteligent person. (She has four lines in the show but let me hc in peace okayyy)

What TV shows did you watch as a kid? There were plenty. Lots of kid’s shows, and cool anime and teen shows. Totally Spies, Code Lyoko, Teen Titans (not the show nowadays), Winx Club, W.I.T.C.H., Yu Yu Hakasho, Powerpuff Girls…. Okay this blog isn't meant to be very serious or anything but I've just had this on my mind for a while and I need to share.

I absolutely hate hate hate the way peak brony fandom used to shame and exclude little girls in this space. Little girls who were a fan of my little pony were simply not allowed in the fandom space anymore, were shamed for how they enjoyed the show (and it's previous generations) and were not kept safe from adult spaces. Fan voices of young, teen and even adult girls and women were ignored. Little girls simply didn't "appreciate the show the way bronies did" and were often blamed for the more childlike episodes. IT WAS THEIR SHOW! this show IS FOR LITTLE GIRLS! this is THEIR space that you are invading so you better make sure that they are kept safe and heard. Don't get me wrong, absolutely anyone and everyone is allowed to enjoy this show, or any show for that matter. That was never the problem. But we made conventions and forums for a show about pink happy ponies, and made these conventions and forums absolute hellscapes for little girls to enter and navigate and nobody important in this fandom cared enough about it to keep these children safe. Nowadays the fandom is a looooot better, and I feel like we all collectively remembered that were watching a kidsshow again. I don't like the new generation of my little pony, honestly, but kids seem to like it so I'm really happy that this is the direction they took the show in, instead of appealing to the adult bronies again.
