The nightlife on a certain planet in Universe 3 was as lively as ever, and Hearts was making the most of it.

He’d had a good time tonight, and it was about time for him to wind down--it was getting pretty late, after all--so he was on his way home.  He had to pass through a crowded area to get there, though, so he prepared himself for that as he approached the sea of people.

Fu’s possessiveness over the things that he considers ‘his’. Growing up, Dabura raised him in an environment that punished him by having his things taken away if he disobeyed. Coupled with his lessons in not valuing ‘inconsequential’ things like people, he grew to cling onto the objects and baubles that he had and began to react violently to anyone that threatened to take away or otherwise mess with his things. He’s been working on his clinginess and possessiveness the more he interacts with people and lets them into his home, but rest assured— if someone were to trespass into his home and start touching his things without his permission, he’d be ornery at best.

Following up from the above point- Dabura raised Fu to embrace his anger and channel that energy into destructive tendencies... for better or worse. At its worst, Fu will find himself rebuilding or scavenging machines and other doodads in the remains of the room he demolished and/or incinerated. Nowadays, he’s been working more on handling his anger from the positive influences in his life, though it doesn’t stop the occasional table flip or hole in the wall from happening.

He is very ticklish. Under the arms, his sides, his neck- get him. He’s vulnerable and he will scream if you go for his armpits.

There was no way to prepare oneself for a Supreme Kai to say such a thing, and there was similarly nothing that immediately came to mind as a response. As a result, cold silence filled the air, and faint consternation made itself manifest on Zamasu’s features. 

As much as the descriptions of their divine tasks painted the picture of cosmic unity, this feeling of separation, of dissociation from the realm they were sworn to lend their powers towards, it was not a thing unknown to him. And it was this fact that took the holy warrior off-guard. More and more, it is revealed to him that his early assessments of Kibitoshin were close to the mark, that they were much more similar than they were dissimilar. And because of this, alongside his preexisting responsibility, he had a duty to grant what guidance he could. All it took now, was the conjuration of the right phrasings.

❛ One would be drawn to question why, when we are tasked with acting as the backbones of the cosmos, to act as beings with the heavy mantle of Supreme Kai... but I understand your feelings, and I share them. ❜

His stance shifted, his hands raising up from his sides to rest behind his back, his posture set aright, and his voice being reinforced with a renewed confidence.

“Your... garden?”

It was an interesting change of subject, to say the least. There was both a lack of familiarity on his face thoroughly mixed with a small amount of surprise at the question. He certainly hadn’t thought the kai’s garden had been suffering recently, but perhaps he hadn’t been paying enough attention to catch the decay as the other had.

“I’m no expert on the matter, but I will say that if you want it to recover and thrive, giving up’s the last thing you should do. It’d be easy to give up and try again with a new garden, but you’ve put plenty of time and effort into it, right? It’d be a shame to see you just toss all that work away.”

He’d look around momentarily, as if trying to spot the supposed problem with the garden from his current position, but it was to no avail as his attention return to the other.

“Who knows? You might not see a solution now, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t. Give it time, one might show up when you least expect it.”

   “Oh, y’know! I was just in the neighborhood; just around--”

   He briefly squints, tossing a glance skyward. “You know, though, now that I ask, and now that you mention it, I don’t remember if I ever lost any baby teeth... I mean, I’ve lost a lot of teeth! --They just don’t stop growing back! You know?” And he chuckles, like it’s the most normal thing to talk about.

   “Follow-up question! Any fun stories about how you lost those teeth?

   “You know, how some kids bite into something and it comes out on whatever they were biting, or maybe they bumped into something and knocked it out, stuff like that--!”

He does, surprisingly. Being reprimanded so suddenly makes tension ball up in his stomach.

“Nobody noticed when I was quiet.”

A random kiss - A quick kiss.

   It stalls him at first, that’s for sure--he can’t do much but blink once, then twice, then seems to focus back from a sudden daze, like he isn’t sure if he just daydreamed that happening at all, quite frankly! Though, he doesn’t think himself one to usually daydream about stuff like this? At least, this would be a first--ah, but he’s getting distracted--!

   The bashful look he reads across the Kai’s face, tinted from his nose to his ears--can even give someone like him the context clues he needs, though, that it was as real as anything. Had he done something--to deserve it? Or earn it? Isn’t that what people do those kinds of things for?

   Whatever the occasion be, frankly, he finds himself--absolutely tickled pink!

   “Well--shucks, Supreme Kai!” With a grin on his face he feels, for some reason, is particularly struck silly with the way he can’t seem to reel it in one bit. “You sure know how to brighten a guy’s day, huh?”

   “I figure it’s not every day someone’s kissed by a Kai! Guess I’m pretty lucky, huh?”

"Would you kindly tell Beerus to be more mindful of the planets he chooses to destroy because they take a lot of time to be made and to avoid another situation where both our necks are on the line, please?"

“But, of course, Supreme Kai. Anything you ask.” There’s not even the most minuscule hint of sarcasm or exasperation in his tone-- genial and accommodating to the end, it seems. “However, I do hope you understand I can’t guarantee any particular outcome of doing so.”

Wouldn’t you know? It’s Shinny-boy, East Kaioshin from Universe 7.

In the canon, neither the manga nor the anime elaborate on any past between Dabura and Shin, but I’ve got this headcanon that they’ve had a few run-ins before Babidi enslaved Dabura. And while Dabura was initially annoyed by Shin’s interference, he came to enjoy taunting the god, getting up in his personal space like the creep he is whenever possible.

Their least favorite food.

Dabura didn’t care either way for cookies (aka biscuits) before Majin Buu had been released. After that, though...

(Interesting note: he, Towa, and the rest of their family didn’t hate specific food items or drinks. It was a form of preparation that rendered them deathly ill. If food or drinks had been blessed by an adherent of Judaism, and the demons were tricked into eating or drinking the blessed items, they’d get hella sick.

(Not too many people in the Multiverse know that, though, especially since, ya know, Judaism is an earthling thing. But it works!)

What’s a tip you would give to people trying to get to know you?

Well, apart from that... Engaging in conversations. While I do reach for people first, if I’m always the first one doing it, I do feel like it’s a one-sided interest, and after a while, I might step out of it. There are cases when I’m still on good terms with people that rarely contact me, but it’s usually because I am aware they’re really busy with IRL stuff. Otherwise, if I see the other person is always up to mess around/chat with others, but never takes the effort to reach for me when I constantly do... I’m sorry, I’ll just drop it. I’ve been in these kind of situations too many times.

Also I fee like people should know I’m really bad with small talk,. I’d rather discuss something specific, even something silly, but ‘defined’. With small talk, I often run out of things to say in a short span of time, while I’m all for engaging in deep conversations. Got headcanons to explore, relationships to develop, narrative to study, characters to analyse? I’m always 100% up for it.

Another important thing is that I am/can be direct. I’m usually open to discuss an issue, and I will point out if I feel like there is one. Never being aggressive, but simply open. I’d much better talk with the other person if there’s an overstanding issue, rather than mull about it, complain about it with others, spread drama, and never actively resolving. Asking for advice is ok. Spreading drama is not. And I hope the other person would feel free to talk with me if there’s anything they feel “wrong” about our interactions. I don’t like problems left there hanging.

And finally... I’m quite reserved. I rarely mention personal stuff. So don’t take it personal, it’s just a thing of mine!

Also I realise this wasn’t a tip, it was a list. Sorry! I like to be specific!

He pats the sheets beside him. 

“You should lie down with me instead. Obviously, a much better choice.”
