Ava likely trained Ephemer off-screen.

It’s known that Ava sent Ephemer on missions to get stronger. We as the player saw Ephemer fight an Invisible heartless in front of us in a cut scene which we had to him.

Ephemer's the only one still standing after the battle with the Darkness, with nearly everyone except for him and Brain kinda are still standing.

How it started vs how it’s going 🌸🌷🌼

paint brush and watercolor pan for size reference! You could also see more of the sparkly quality of the watercolor paper ✨

I regret using a purple colored pencil to ultimately line the drawing, the look I imagined would’ve been better with a brown outline. I did have a big oops moment when the orange hair color leaked onto her cheeks but I managed to hide it 😮‍💨

Here’s the original sketch, plus more process pics to include here. I used my derwent pastel watercolor set for the initial colors, then my kuretake art nouveau set for the deeper colors.
