Inktober Day 5 — Map

I legit don't have many ideas for Inktober's prompts this year...

I ended up doing the Kingdom Hearts map cause it looks kinda cool

I originally did this for Mermay but then lost the motivation for it. I usually do one piece for Mermaid Month but I was a wee bit overwhelmed this year.

Not going to lie, I’m not impressed by it and it’s a reminder that I really need to work on anatomy

Wanted to do something Mermaid related for MerMay(even tho I am not doing any kind event or challenge like people do lol). I remembered my fave game has canon mermaid designs for some characters. Technically none of these are "mermaids" one is a merperson( male? man? Boy?), one is a ductopus, and the other is dogturtle? 😂I wish other characters could be seen in different world forms in the games other than Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Maybe one day 🤞

This is the context for when my friend asked me to color all my favorite characters drowning

He told me this AU has more stuff to it and that it’s a Sorikai Little Mermaid AU where Riku is kind of sort of Ursula but all three of them end up together in the end

Anyway I just think this is SO CUTE and I put a lot of effort into the background and stuff so I hope ya’ll like it too

MerMay Adventure Day 13- Sora (Kingdom Hearts) @artisticangel and @curespectra

Day 13 has us arrive in the Destiny Isles of Kingdom Hearts, and it looks like our good friend Sora’s taking a dip in its clear waters!

Now where were Kairi and Riku? Ah, they’re off sunbathing alongside Goofy and Donald! Now if that doesn’t invoke the sense of summer, I don’t know what will!

Anyways, our next stop is Whispering Rock Summer Camp, so let’s set sail… again!

It's almost the end of Mermay but it's not to late for mermaid Tamie !

In her story she travels along with Sora, Donald and Goofy so of course she would go to Atlantica ! She is a great swimmer so she didn't really had trouble adjusting to her fish tail. I took some inspiration from a roach fish for her tail.

I guess Atlantica would probably be one of her favorite world 🐟

If the musical parts of Arendelle weren't of your liking, what do you think instead of the use of music during Atlantica in KH2, or in Melody of Memory?

So, I'm just gonna be honest...I'm not a fan of rhythm games. I'm not good at them and they're just not my jam. XD As a result, I haven't actually played "Melody of Memory;" in fact, it's one of only two Kingdom Hearts games I haven't really looked into much of, let alone played. I should probably mend that. :P But yeah, I can't really comment on MoM. As for Atlantica...honestly, Atlantica in KH2 really ticked me off. It seems to be a World that most people dislike, in fact, but a small niche group really enjoy. I guess I can understand with the niche group, because I can't pretend it has NO merit, but an optional rhythm game section that makes absolutely no sense in continuity - EVEN BY KINGDOM HEARTS STANDARDS - is not what I wanted from my visit to the Little Mermaid world. I'll give them this though...I will always be happy to hear Pat Carroll sing a villain song, pretty much just by default. (RIP, Ursula. <3 ) Also, for those who might comment: the rhythm game sections in "Twisted Wonderland" are my least favorite part of the game. Aside from all the grinding and the fact I could get Savannah Leona OR Rollo over 100+ tries, anyway. XD
