day 76 / 3/16/24 - keykey & cagelock

a little key guy capable of opening any lock. but, since it's inside the cage, it can't reach the lock to unlock the door and set itself free...

as soon as it realizes it can just walk out of the cage, we're all doomed.

it's not about keykey's power falling into the wrong hands or anything. keykey just loves to go around and stick itself in as many locks as it can for fun, which causes a lot of problems for the people who enjoy having their doors locked. maybe we should just send it to a lock manufacturer instead and let it run around...

oh also it likes to set things on fire sometimes. that's probably also part of why it was locked away

coincidentally cagelock has dreams of becoming a firefighter. small world!

he actually had a family picnic there before when he was a smaller child and was told all about the events of the Yellow arc from his parents

that’s why he still can’t believe a time where this place wasn’t filled with plants and healthy looking Pokémon and why he knows about the Vermillion flower ^v^

he met Mankey during the picnic too with Eevee, his first Pokémon

he also thinks a little about Yellow’s power here since he has the power to heal too :)

aand he’s just a sweet kid who wants to bring flowers for his mom <3

hehe and a fun thing I’d like to add about Mankey is that he really likes to battle and train with Green’s Machamp out of admiration for his strength

Reborn Fighter [Echo Knight]

Keykey was once a scholar studying botany at a remote university. One day, however, the campus was raided by a monster and she was killed trying to escape. Thirty days later, Keykey rose from the dead, resurrected by an unknown deity.

The resurrection was imperfect, however, drastically changing their appearance, leaving overt divine carvings all over their body, and fragmenting their consciousness into two halves. As a result, they're not always terribly present, but half of Keykey can now project into the physical world as a semi-corporeal echo of themself, and the two can swap places at will.

Most of the time when the echo is out, Keykey sees, senses, and acts through it as if it was another body of theirs. However, late some nights, the echo whispers to them in a voice that isn't their own.

I'm making a list of D&D OCs, with three characters for each playable class in 5th edition, including Artificer and Blood Hunter.

Rewatching 3X08 and suddenly I'm laughing because I can just hear the Suntree in the Mattew McConatree voice complaining about the candles being right next to him after he was literally JUST set on fire a day or two ago!

Hey KeyKey, totally sad about your friend, but could you please move these candles away from my trunk, they're really harshing my vibes.

Seriously though, the candles through the city are gorgeous, but dragons just lit the city on fire like 5 seconds ago, I think this ptsd riddled crowd would have vetoed candles. The people of Whitestone are a practical lot, they cremate their dead now...oh shit yeah that's another thing, thank goodness they haven't implemented the anti-undead cremation process in Whitestone yet lmfao. I'm sure I remember that being a thing from the campaign.
