I'm decided I wanted to post my journey destroying my copy of Wreck This Journal (by Keri Smith). I hope you enjoy the ride!

I think I'm too caught up with my art being "perfect" and, it's getting in the way of creating. I need to let go. I learned a lot from the first one I bought, so it's time for another go. And most importantly I had tones of fun creating.
This postcard is literally cut out from the back cover, I'm going to send it to a pen pal.
I'm going to post my journey here, I'll wreck the pages, then I will try and turn it into something. Because I've wrecked it based on the prompts it won't necessarily turn out good, but I'll have to think outside of my comfort zone. Then might learn something new, or get something cool. It might be a hot mess and I have got to be okay with that.
I'm not finishing my art, then getting stressed about it. So I think this should help.
But even if you are not a creative type, but neurodivergent or can have mental health struggles and this leads to wanting things to be perfect and you have trouble letting go. I HIGHLY recommend this. I did my first one during lockdown, and honestly the mental relief I got from this was amazing.

I guess I figured Gollum as he's described in The Hobbit was pretty ugly?

I’m thinking of getting some Keri Smith books like Wreck This Journal and This Is Not A Book. Kinda want to do a monster theme with them like Monster High, Pokemon, My Singing Monsters, Undertale and Deltarune.
