Kep1er is preparing for their first OT7 comeback! (go listen to MADEIN where Mashiro & Yeseo have re-debuted) They recently performed "sync-love" at KCON Germany 2024 (with other old songs + 1 cover) & now released the dance practice video. I can't tell if this will be the title track or not, but "sync-love" deserves some promotional love on music shows later in November!

Also, can WAKEONE please give Kep1er a "Red Light" concept in the future?!

Let's celebrate Kep1er first comeback as OT7 after their historical contract renewal for any survival show group! The girls are back in the sky for this concept. The video editing & some of the sets (backgrounds) gave the MV an abstract art style. (It's like a friendlier version of ARTMS's "Virtual Angel".) The only issue is that the choruses with all the "crush on you" parts sound very soft to me—Dayeon & Xiaoting sound only slightly louder than Chaehyun & Hiyyih.

The studio version of "sync-love" is finally available!

Maybe I should try listening to J-pop? It's very different from japanese k-pop songs but japanese releases are consistently some of my favorites. Kep1er's I Do! Do You? is much better than Giddy imo - the choreo and MV are too.

I can't fall asleep so I'm watching random MVs I'd never seen of songs I already knew. Mamamoo's GGBB is such a fun (and funny) song (the dance break at the end was unnecessary though, and that part of the MV made me cringe) and I also really like Apink's new song DND. Both groups pretty consistently make good songs though Apink is much more my style and Mamamoo is hit and miss for me.

I also watched IVE's performances on Jay Park's show and they've been doing so well this comeback. You can tell they wanted to prove themselves because they had minimal backing track and even hit some adlibs. I AM is so hype and explosive and the live band version of Love Dive was perfect. They've improved so much in singing and stage presence. Their dancing has improved too but I find that Wonyoung in particular stands out in a bad way, and Gaeul as well. But they've all grown a lot and their live stages are finally exciting and worthy of their songs. I hope they keep it up. I think they'll attract more fans this way. I could tell by the crowd that everyone was impressed and surprised in a good way.

I also watched a clip of Twice's recent Seoul concert (Alcohol Free + DTNA + TTT) and their energy was insane. I usually don't care for their live performances because they lip sync so much and their energy isn't always there, but I heard a lot of live vocals and they were having so much fun. The Alcohol Free remix and new choro were great and the TTT dance break was incredible. I felt their energy. It always hits different when groups perform home. I'll have to watch the rest of the concert.
