#whiskeywednesday and good things come to those that wait, like this years #vanwinklefamilyreserve Rye that I picked up for $155. The #ryewhiskey from the #pappyvanwinkle line up is always so hard to get, so I am incredibly grateful to get on this year, I also got a Lot B for retail this time around. #tastytuesday and coming in at no 5 of my top 10 best #whiskies I drank in 2020 is this #vanwinklefamilyreserve rye #whiskey flight featuring 2003, 2009, 2010 and the 2015 #vanwinkle reserve ryes. #bestdramihad from #hirschdistillers would most definitely have to be this 25 year #ryewhiskey. The distillery is a historic landmark for American #whiskey that was in operation for more than two centuries, and Hirsch's contribution would ultimately result in what many consider to be the finest expression of #bourbon ever made, the legendary A.H. Hirsch Reserve 16 Year Old which I have yet to get my hands on but this 25 year Rye was delicious.
