[…] Like the other idols, I'd also do core training doing planks while singing, dancing while singing practiced those hundreds of times. BoA-san, the Produce 101 Season 2 host, went through the same kind of training during her teens. Were you able to speak to BoA directly? Several times. I was the only Japanese trainee, and wasn't fluent in Japanese yet. Since BoA-san was active in Japan, she would speak to me in Japanese. Each word she said had a lot of weight, and she would give me all kinds of advice. She was able to get across that she cared for me, and it gave me a lot of strength. Were you able to meet her again after the show? After debuting as a member of JBJ, we met at the MBC broadcasting station. Our activities lined up at the same time period, we rode the elevator together in silence. Upon greeting her, she remembered me and asked, 'Been doing well recently?' The flight from the 17th floor to the 1st took just around a minute, but I [still] remember it so clearly. To think that I went from being a trainee to going on the same music program as BoA-san — it was such a huge honor. It made me so happy.

A singer I love, Takada Kenta, released this song called ‘Come Back Any Time’ today and he wrote it in honor of his mother, his number #1 fan, who has passed away recently after a long and hard illness so it would mean a lot if y’all could give it a listen and a like (and  a comment if you’re up for it). His mom was his biggest supporter and just wanted him to succeed and live his dream and be successful and happy and she gave up everything to make that happen and so did he and it would be wonderful if we could help him come a step closer. It’s a beautiful song and I have tears in my eyes just writing about it. It made me cry so much. Kenta is in a musical duo called JBJ95 and they’re under a small company who is doing their best to promote them, but the competition is hard and especially in times like these, money is hard to come by. Please give this song a listen. Thank you.
