Famous last words, huh?

Real talk, delete that last sentence from the final paragraph of Skarner's bio:

"The only one Skarner can trust is himself, and he'll do anything it takes to protect Ixtal and its people. Even if that means becoming the root of their destruction, himself."

And his "destructive paranoia" immediately gets downgraded to "fully reasonable and healthy paranoia". I bet I haven't even pictured a fifth of all the insane bull-- going on outside of Ixtal, and half of the things on the pic would be enough for me to vote for eternal isolation, thanks.

This was a lot of fun to put together, even if it took a bit longer than I would have hoped. I ended up reading and/or listening to quite a few lore bits, all of which I really enjoyed... and my god, the story of Nasus and Renekton just nuked my heart. I want the god-warrior bros to make up and live happily ever after! I don't even care what happens to Azir and Shurima in the background, I want the brothers to get a happy ending, pls, Riot!!

Meet Glisten!!

Glisten was terrified when he couldn’t find Toodles. He searched high and low, and refused to enter the elevator without her, having to be dragged inside by Goob before it closed. Once it opened again, he was out in seconds, calling out for Toodles - disregarding the danger of whatever that could’ve caused her to go missing in the first place.

He was frantic, searching high and low, when he finally found her.

It was horrifying. All that was left of her was her little doggie plush, stuffed to the brim with her bones and organs, Ichor seeping out of its seams.

He was too busy sobbing over his baby girl to check if the plushie could’ve been a trap. While he cried, holding the little dog to his chest, its head came off, and dug its teeth into his back.

He suffered a horrific mutilation to his back, but managed to throw the plushie off before it killed him, tripping and breaking his glass in the process - but it was too late.

While he was busy crying, the rest of the toons were completing the machines. The elevator was already closing by the time he got to it.

Goob did not help him in.

Glisten was fairly cooperative, and willingly consumed the antidote upon receiving an explanation on its effects.

Fun facts about Glisten!!

- Glisten is an occasional co-host on Vee’s talk show, as well as the manager of Gardenview’s karaoke “bar”

- He’s just suuuuper fast (kinda like Baby G from Dandy’s Block)

- Prefers leotards because of the wide range of movement they offer

- Grade-A he/him mom

- Got mistaken for a Drag Queen once, cried literal tears of joy

- Takes full advantage (within reason) of the fact that Rodger would do anything for him

- Sounds like Carter Kench

- Wears contacts

Side effects of the twisting:

- Discolored skin

[his human design was heavily influenced by dearestryna on twitter] - Jayce spent most of his life working as a forger, discovering minor pyrokinetic abilities growing up, after that he convinced his mother of studying under the psychonauts' wings to use his abilities for something more. Nowadays he's seen as a pretty heroic figure, having been featured in many issues of "true psychic tales", despite the (almost overwhelming) pedestal he's put in he still clearly prefers and keeps his appreciation for the forge whenever he has some down time for himself.
