You sat on the floor of your small apartment, flipping through pages and running your fingertips against the small pad on your laptop. There were so many ideas flowing through your head at once, your hands could barely keep up with how fast your mind was racing. You were in full blown work mode as you wrapped up the last scene of your stage play. You let out a deep sigh of relief once the light bulb finally went off in your head. Your hands flew across the keyboard, fingernails tapping loudly as you typed away.
There was no deadline or due date for the script but once you had an idea there was no stopping you until you completely emptied your brain. You were so caught up in your work, you hadn’t noticed your best friend Kelvin staring at you. You didn’t notice how his eyes scanned your face, watching how your eyebrows bent as you chewed the inside of your cheek.
He knew that this meant you were in deep thought and there was no space to interrupt you until the thought was complete. Over the years he had become so familiar with your facial expressions and body language, his ability to read you was unmatched.
“You are the epi-tome of determination.” Kelvin said, finally breaking the silence in the room. He had purposely mispronounced the word knowing he’d gain your full attention.
“It’s “epitome” Kelvin!” You said, giggling as you tore your eyes from the computer screen to look at him.
“That’s how it’s spelled though.” He shrugged, rummaging through the documents you had laid out on the table.
You playfully rolled your eyes and went back to working refusing to pay him any mind. You were collaborating on a group project with your closest girlfriends. The three of you decided to get together and produce a short play about a woman in her 20s navigating through the dating world for the first time in her life.
When Kelvin volunteered to help out with the script you were elated, seeing as though he was a theater kid so he knew a good script when he saw one. However Kelvin agreed to help solely because he wanted any reason to be in your space. Was he taking up space? Of course. Was he helping? Not so much. With the both of you being very creative in your expression both verbally and physically, you knew he’d be the perfect person to help you finish your part of the play.
After a few minutes of silence with only your nails clicking against the flat keyboard, you had finally reached the end of the scene. You turned the laptop to Kelvin so that he could read it and give some feedback.
“It’s great Y/N honestly but I’m saying she should just be more dramatic. Like the scene where she’s on a date with the rich guy, imagine if she slid down in the chair because she’s so annoyed with his arrogance.” Kelvin added. “I mean he’s self centered, he’s a chatterbox, she can barely get a word in, I’d be irritated.”
“Sounds like somebody I know…” You joked, staring into the air as if you were trying to remember a name. “I think his name is Kevin or Kellon, you may know him.”
“Wow so you got jokes? Okay.” Kelvin nodded as he leaned back against the couch, turning your laptop back to you.
You died of laughter as you watched the expression on his face. It was obvious he was noting this for later, hoping for the right opportunity to poke fun at you as well. He smiled a bit from the amount of humor and joy expressed in your face. He took pride in being able to bring you that happiness and you didn’t even know it.
“But no seriously Kelvin, no woman is gonna dramatically slide down in her chair while she’s on a date at a fancy restaurant.” You said reeling the conversation back in. “She would maybe roll her eyes, take a dramatic sip of her drink, raise her eyebrows in exasperation, anything but that.”
Kelvin nodded, deciding not to protest. He ran the entire script over in his head and immediately had questions for you.
“Is this really how it is when you date as a woman?” He asked genuinely. “I mean are men really like that with y’all.”
You nodded your head slowly, pressing your lips into a thin line as he stared at you. “They’re either so self centered and want a woman to worship them or they secretly hate women so they treat them like shit in an effort to get back at their horrible ass mothers.”
“Or my favorites, the ones who present themselves as the dream guy. He says all the right things, does all the right things until he gets exactly what he wants, then he switches like that.” You said snapping your fingers.
“Damn.” Kelvin sighed in defeat. “So you haven’t met any men who are actually good guys?”
“I mean I wouldn’t know. They all act their asses off kinda like you.” You said without any care. You didn’t mean to offend him but the nonchalant tone in your voice caused him to jerk his head back.
“Like me? You think I put on an act to get a woman to be with me?”
“I’m not saying that exactly but-“
“So what are you saying?” He asked, cutting you off completely.
You looked up at him and paused for a bit noticing the change in his demeanor. You cleared your throat a bit and continued speaking hoping to ease the tension that was filling the room.
“Kelvin let’s be honest, just in this past year you’ve dated so many women I could barely keep count. There’s no way you’re not telling them what they want to hear in order for them to sleep with you.”
“Who said I slept with them?”
You chuckled loudly, shaking your head. “You’re a man, y’all will fuck anything walking.”
Kelvin’s eyes squinted as he sat up a bit. “So you really think I’m like one of those “fuck boys” you’re writing about in this play?”
“I wouldn’t be surprised to find out you were.” You responded carelessly, returning your attention back to your papers not bothering to read Kelvin’s bothered expression. You two had known each other for roughly four years now and after all of that time he was really hurt by what he had just heard. He thought out of everyone in his life, his closest friend would think highly of him but he was quickly learning that he was wrong.
“You ever stop to ask yourself why you keep running into these types of men?” Kelvin asked. There was no doubt that what you said struck a nerve. He was simply playing tit for tat trying to hurt your feelings because you had hurt his.
You lifted your brow as you looked up at him. “You think I’m the reason why I keep getting played?”
“Maybe your bitterness keeps attracting these so called “fuck boys”.” Kelvin asked, sitting up straight. That one word caused your nostrils to flare. It was no secret that the both of you were now pissed beyond return as his eyes burned holes in your face.
“Bitter?”
“Bitter.” He repeated.
You scoffed at the statement, slamming your papers onto the table and standing to your feet.
“So maybe you are just like them. Instead of taking some accountability, you blame the woman for choosing wrong? How about y’all be better men and women wouldn’t be so bitter!”
“Maybe if y’all weren’t so fucking superficial, only going after every man with money or good looks y’all wouldn’t be going through this shit you writing about!” Kelvin stood to his feet as well, pointing to the table as he spoke.
“I don’t go after men with money!”
“That’s right, I forgot. You chase after the ones that have everything on that dumb ass list you made after your last breakup, yet you still haven’t found him. I wonder why.”
“Fuck you Kelvin!” You walked out of the living room and into your bedroom. You pushed your door forcefully causing the lock to put a small dent in the wall. Kelvin marched into the room right behind you not wanting to let this go just yet.
“I’m right, that’s why you’re so mad!” He spat.
“No I’m mad because I’ve told you about my experiences with men and you’re acting like you have zero sympathy for me.” You shot back, turning to face him.
“I’ve shared my experiences with you too and you turn around and say I’m “acting” just to sleep with these girls? Whole time I’m just waiting around for you, trying to keep myself occupied until you get your shit figured out.”
“Bye Kelvin!” You yelled, waving your hand. “Nobody asked you to wait around, you can leave now if you want to. Since you’re so preoccupied, why are you still here?”
“I wouldn’t give up on the woman I love but that’s the difference between me and you!”
Your eyes widened a bit as the words began to sink in. You had never paid your relationship any mind because he was such a good friend to you. The thought of him loving you or being in love with you never crossed your mind because he was always his cool, easy going self. Most guys would’ve confessed their love or attraction for you a long time ago simply because they had no desire to be friends with you in the first place. Posing as a friend was simply the safest route to take. But here you were standing just a few feet away from the one man who had no problem showing up for you in the ways you needed all because he genuinely loved you.
“You’re so busy chasing these fake ass entrepreneurs and these bullshit play boys that have you jumping through hoops to prove you’re worthy of one fucking date when I’m right here not asking you to do any of that!”
“So what do you want Kelvin?!” You yelled out of pure frustration.
“You!” He yelled back.
You were both overwhelmed with emotion, too many thoughts running through your minds and feelings coursing through your body. You placed your head on top of your head and the other on your hip as you exhaled harshly. Now hearing his admission and seeing the emotion behind every word he spoke, you slowly felt a sense of regret for the things you said earlier.
“Is that not obvious? I’m with you through every breakup, every time you need to vent, every time you need someone to cry to, every project, every big moment in your life, I’m here. You don’t even have to ask and I’m there every fucking time.”
“You’re saying that like I’m forcing you to be here.” You shook your head, trying to shift the blame.
“I’m simply saying that to remind you of how I’m always going to be here no matter what. So that comment you made earlier about me being one of these men who don’t give a damn about you doesn’t apply to me.” He wasn’t wrong either and you knew it. You just didn’t think any of this through. The things you were saying, the way you were trying to brush him off and dismiss him. The look on his face was nothing less than a look of hurt. Your expression softened as you took in his emotions, almost regretting this entire argument.
“Well I wasn’t saying it like that. We’re friends so I just thought you treated me differently than other guys because you’re not in a relationship with me.”
“Regardless of that, I’m still gonna treat you well because I’m just not that type of guy. But clearly you think differently.”
“I don’t Kelvin, I was just…” You looked around to find the right words, hoping you didn’t put your foot in your mouth once again. “I was just running my mouth, that's all. I’m sorry.”
Kelvin nodded and the room fell silent. He dropped his head to the floor and placed his hands in his pockets. You stared at him as the last few minutes replayed in your head.
‘I wouldn’t give up on the woman I love.’
What exactly did he mean by that? Was he saying that you were one of his friends that he loved deeply? Was he saying that he loved you in a romantic sense? You couldn’t figure out why that would casually slip out of his mouth unless there was real meaning behind it.
“You said you loved me.”
His head shot up as he looked at you and nodded. “Yeah.”
“Because we’re friends?” You tried finishing the statement for him, hoping to soften the blow just in case you misinterpreted what he had said.
“I’m in love with you y/n.” He said bluntly.
Your breath caught in your throat as he said those words. How could you miss the signs? The way he spoke about you to other people, the times you would catch him staring at you with a small smile on his face, the amount of patience he’d have with you even during those times you were purposely agitating him. The way he treated you never wavered. He was always consistent with you and you weren’t paying him any mind.
“Why didn't you tell me?”
He shrugged his shoulders before replying. “I wasn’t sure if admitting it would ruin our friendship. I didn’t wanna risk losing you altogether so I kept it to myself.”
You sat silently, unsure of what to say next.
“But I guess I had to get it out eventually. I just don’t want you to think less of me because of your past experiences. I want you and I’ll do everything I can to keep you happy. That’s if you’ll let me.”
“Yes.”
“Yes, you’ll give me a chance?” He asked, raising his brows in uncertainty.
You nodded but remained silent. You swallowed the lump in your throat as you felt your heart flutter. Your palms began to sweat as he made his way over to you, finally closing the large gap in between you guys.
“Can I kiss you?”
You nodded your head slowly as he inched toward you. You stood still, feeling your heart beat rapidly in your chest. The room was quiet but the sound of your pulse was pounding in your ears. It was happening and you hadn’t even planned for it.
He softly placed a kiss on your lips, pulling back a bit to study your features. The way your eyes darted back and forth between his eyes and lips gave him the signal to slow down even more. He could tell you were nervous and the last thing he wanted to do was pressure you.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” You said above a whisper. “I’ve been abstinent since my last relationship so this is a bit much for me.”
“It’s been two years since…?” He trailed off not wanting to finish the sentence to make the situation awkward.
You nodded.
“We don’t have to do that if you’re not ready.” He said, placing his hands to his sides.
“No I want to, I feel safe with you.” You looked up at him as you assured him. You honestly couldn’t think of any other man you’d want to share this moment with. No you weren’t losing your “virginity” but you were in the exact moment of the promise you had made to yourself just two years ago. A promise to give your body to the man who made you feel comfortable and secure in your relationship with him. You just didn’t know you’d be experiencing this man so soon and that it would be your best friend.
“I’ll go slow, but I need you to talk to me. If it becomes too much just tell me and I’ll stop, I promise.” He placed his hands around your waist and stared into your eyes. His eyebrows were bent as he spoke, making sure you felt the sincerity in his tone.
“Okay.” You uttered before feeling his lips against yours once again. This time you parted your lips and slipped your tongue into his mouth. Almost immediately, he fell into your kiss, pulling you in tighter as you explored each other's mouths. You wrapped your arms around his neck, moaning as you felt your clit throb from the intensity.
He kissed you with full passion, running his hands up and down your back. Finally pulling away from your lips, he lowered his head to your neck and kissed your skin softly. He lifted his hands up your back and gripped your shoulders, gently sucking on your neck and shoulders.
You took in a sharp breath as you felt his tongue against your collar bone. It had been so long since you’d been touched like this, you forgot where your sensitive spots were. Your fingers wrapped around his neck as you dropped your head back a bit.
He carefully walked you back against the bed, laying his weight against you which caused you to fall back. You stared up at him as he licked his lips. You could see the gears turning in his head as his eyes roamed all over your body.
He was taking note of you before he could decide what to do with you. The way your chest rose, displaying how anxious you were, the thin fabric from the gray camisole you wore pressed against your hard nipples and your slow blinking gave him the sign that you were relaxed and at ease.
“I won’t do you like the others did, I promise.” He leaned over the bed and kissed you once more. His kisses trailed down your body, a few landing in the opening of the tank top. He ran his hand underneath the shirt to lift it a bit. Bringing himself down the length of your body, he kissed your belly. Down the sides, in the center, along your rib cage, above and below your belly button. He was making sure to take his time with you because of how much you mean to him but also because of how much this moment meant to you.
He lowered himself even more, stopping right above the waistline of your pajama shorts. His eyes shot up to your face in an attempt to read your expression. But the only view he had was of your full breasts still rising up and down at a steady pace.
He pulled your shorts down to your thighs before standing up to pull them from around your ankles. Tossing them to the floor, he turned his head to place a kiss right above your anklet. He held both of your legs in place over his shoulders while he kissed them both.
He stared down at you while he kissed you, noticing how wet you were through your underwear. There was a small dot directly in the middle of your panties. A tiny puddle of secretion that started building the moment he promised to take it slow.
You didn’t even remember your ankles being a sensitive spot for you but the way he was paying them so much attention had you dripping with every kiss. You watched as he went back and forth placing intentional kisses between your legs until he reached down to remove your panties. Tossing them as well, he kneeled down and lowered himself to your center.
“Damn.” He mumbled to himself, taking in the sight of your lower lips. The way your pussy shined from the wetness made him lick his lips in desperation.
You gently gripped the sheets as you tried to brace yourself for this moment of pleasure. After a few seconds of stillness, you felt his tongue press against your clit. You gasped loudly from the feeling of him rolling it around and taking it into his mouth to gently suck on.
“Fuck.” You whispered in a harsh breath. Your breathing grew a bit quicker as he sucked on your clit. The sounds of him licking and kissing your center filled the room. Your thick thighs rested over his shoulders, giving him the perfect opportunity to dive as deep as he wanted to.
“Kelvin…” You moaned. He hummed against your clit, loving the way you were reacting to his pleasure. The way you moaned his name made him press his face into your center even more. His lips were covered in your essence, completely smothering himself as he closed his eyes.
You mindlessly began rolling your hips against his tongue, fucking his face from underneath his grasp. You placed a hand on top of his head to help you keep a steady motion. His tongue continued toying your clit in the same rhythm you moved your hips in.
It was only a matter of time before you remembered how it felt to be pleasured. There was no judgement present, only desire. You felt Kelvin reach underneath your tank top and roll your nipple in between his fingers. He wanted you leaking as much as possible so he was sure to do whatever he could to pull an orgasm out of you.
“Ughhhh yessss.” You whined, dropping your jaw as you felt the rush. You placed your other hand on his head and continued rolling your hips until you reached total climax. “Oh fuccccccck.”
Kelvin never moved, he didn’t want to fuck up the momentum and risk having you come back down the orgasm ladder so soon. His goal was to have you worn out by the time he was done with you and he was just getting started. Your hips bucked against his face, your clit growing sensitive as your orgasm reached its peak.
Your body shook as the wave passed over you, slowly sending you back down the ladder. Kelvin kept his lips latched onto your clit, trying to get every drop of your juices out if you so he could lick them up in the end. You moaned as every part of your body still reacted from the intensity of your orgasm. Finally removing your hands from his head, you dropped them onto the bed.
“You taste so fucking good.” He said, still licking and kissing your pussy while you caught your breath. He placed more kisses on your lips, then your thighs before coming up to your breasts.
He sucked on them, rolling his tongue around your areolas in an effort to prepare you for the next few orgasms he planned on giving you. Your body twisted underneath his as you felt your nipples between his teeth. You were already so turned on, he didn’t need to do any more but Kelvin was extra in everything that he did.
Kelvin loved the way your hips bucked underneath his, the way you lifted your chest off of the bed to feel his mouth even more, the way your head rocked back and forth from the amount of pleasure you were receiving. He slid his hand back down between your legs and slipped two fingers into your entrance. Along with teasing your swollen nipples, he rolled his fingers in an upward motion, moaning against your breasts from the feeling of your juices soaking his fingers.
You moaned loudly, not caring about the thin walls in your luxury apartment. After two years of absolutely no sex, no touching, not even a solo session, you didn’t care who heard you. However, it was still a lot for you to receive at this moment. The way he was sucking on both of your breasts, the way his fingers played in your hole, you were feeling so much at once. Your body was so sensitive and he wasn’t letting up on the pleasure at all.
Your eyebrows curled in pleasurable agony, you didn’t want it to stop but your body was already going into overload. He was so passionate in the way he tended to your body, everything he did for you was with pure intention. He waited years in order to be in this position with you, there was no way he would fuck up the chance to make you feel all of the love he had for you.
“It’s too much…” You cried, clawing at the nape of his neck.
“You want me to stop?” He asked, lifting his head to look at you. His head moved along with yours, rocking side to side as you embraced the intensity of his pleasures.
“No but-” You managed but couldn’t finish because he hadn’t stopped playing in your essence. He knew he was making it hard for you to speak but he was also genuinely concerned all at the same time.
“Talk to me.”
“I think I have to…” You trailed off. Your eyes shot open as you felt a strong pressure against your pelvis. Your walls tightened only out of habit from the familiar feeling in between your legs. “I have to pee.”
“That’s normal.” He said, kissing your cheek as he continued fingering you. “Just relax and let it go.”
“I can’t.” You whined, trying your hardest to relax.
“Yes you can.”
You took deep breaths, each breath causing you to loosen the grip you had on his fingers. He could feel your walls relax around him which made him dig deeper into. He was going to get you to feel this one way or another.
“That’s it baby, let it go.”
“Oooooh.” You cooed as you felt the sensation growing greater and greater. Your breathing became audible as you felt the juices flow. Splashy sounds filled the room while he worked his arm back and forth. Your mouth hung open as you felt yourself cum in this way for the first time.
“Keep cummin’, I’ll clean it up.” He muttered against your cheek. “I want all of it.”
“Ughhhh.” Your voice rang out in total pleasure. Your vision grew blurry as tears weld in your eyes, quickly dropping along the sides of your face. The sloshy noise that came from your pussy had you too stunned to speak. He worked you over until you were drained, staring down at you as more tears escaped your eyes.
After a few more moments, Kelvin's fingers slowed to a stop, finally allowing you a moment to breathe. He kissed your face where your tears had dropped until he reached your lips.
“You’re okay baby, breathe.” You did as you were told, staring up at the ceiling as he continued to kiss you. Your breathing was uneven but you continued trying your hardest to return it back to normal. “How do you feel?”
“That felt so fucking good.” You let out in a staggered breath. Your heart was still racing, chest violently rising and falling as you tried to come to terms with what had just happened.
“I won’t push you past your limit, that’s enough for right now.” He stood up from the bed and walked to your bathroom. A few seconds later, he returned back to you with a towel lightly drenched in warm water. He cleaned you gently, wiping your thighs and around your lips.
“I didn’t want you to stop.” You managed, trying to convince him that you were up to take more of his pleasure but he knew you all too well. You needed a moment to recoup, to completely come back down. A moment to ground yourself back into the present. But it all felt so good, too good to let go of so soon. You wanted more but didn’t even know if you’d be able to handle more just yet.
He leaned over your body, walking his hands along your sides until he met your face. “I want you to trust me.”
“I do trust you.” You contested, staring up at him in pure hunger for more of him.
“I know when you’ve had enough even when you’re too stubborn to admit it.” He kissed you on the lips and lifted up a bit to look into your eyes. “Besides, once I’m inside you I’m not stopping until I’m tired, no matter how many times you cum.”
You looked up at him and nodded, not bothering to protest. However, you were still in need of his touch. Even if it meant simply hugging you until you asked to let go, you needed to be in his embrace. You swallowed harshly, trying to get rid of the dryness in your throat. You watched him as he walked back into your bathroom. The faucet from your bathroom sink ran, signaling he was rinsing out the towel he had just wiped you down with. You sat up and let out a deep breath as placed your hands in between your thighs.
“Kelvin?” You called out to him.
He leaned back a bit coming into the doorframe of your bathroom. “What’s wrong?”
“Can you hold me until I fall asleep?” Your voice was so soft matching the expression on your face.
“Of course.” Kelvin expected this, seeing as though you had experienced something so intense for the first time and him being the one responsible. He never planned on leaving though. He wanted to make sure you felt cared for in every way possible.
He climbed onto the bed with you and pulled you into his chest. Placing a small kiss on your temple, he rested his head against your pillow as he held onto you. It was only a matter of minutes before he heard light snoring coming from you. He smiled to himself, grateful that he was able to express his love for you in more ways than one. But also because he still had the opportunity to really make love to you in the way that he had imagined for the longest.

—————
Sitting between Aaron and Kelvin in the seats, in front of the camera and your brown eyes locked on the interviewer and asked you, and your castmates Aaron and Kelvin about the movie, you fake smiled and nodded. It’s been hours and hours, of interviews, talk shows, photoshoots, talking with your manager Leona and bodyguard Felix to make sure you're good.
But this was exhausting mentally and physically, you knew that this part came with the entertainment industry but the fame part was difficult, deranged and delusional, stalker fans, toxic gossip blogs ready to get something on you. The worst part was no privacy when it came to certain things.
“Y/N, how does it feel to be in an award-nominated and award-winning film with Kelvin, and Aaron?” The interviewer asked, using a bright tone.
“It feels great to be in this film beside these two, showing the right ways to tackle certain topics that are spoken about enough, you feel that my character Nia is conflicted and chooses the one who’s been yearning for her all along, it’s reminded us that she’s human,” You spoke with confidence, smiling again. Your cheeks ached in pain.
You’ve been acting for seven years, your film credits have expanded significantly, and you’ve won Emmys and an Oscar by the age of 31. Hobnobbing with your favorite stars like Angela Bassett, who inspired your dream.
You were picky when it came to roles in Hollywood, the reboots, remakes, sequels and constant shady, predatory directors, asshole producers, and stuck and entitled managers.
But you finally your manager Leona, who was the best in the business. You preferred working with a black women, you felt safe, seen, and protected properly by her. You had to do so much on your own but it took a toll on you.
You've made it, you were proud of yourself. You had a black-owned production, management team.
You starred in a black romance movie titled More To Love, which revolves around two close friends employed at a black-owned law firm. In the story, they handle legal cases, and things take a turn when your ex, portrayed by Aaron, arrives to propose. Your character named Nia never forgot how much her ex hurt you from heartbreak and betrayal, so your character pretend to be with your colleague Kelvin.
It was very similar to your story when you began dating in high school, Aaron played the role so well and it made you not speak to him, you explained to him that the story was personal to you. Aaron understood completely, shared the same story as you and he apologized.
As the interviewer continued to throw questions your way and Kelvin’s, you could feel the weight of the promotional duties pressing down on you. Your cheeks ached from the forced smiles, and you stole a glance at Kelvin, who flashed you a reassuring grin. It was a momentary distraction from the barrage of queries.
You wore a black knee-length dress that exposed your back paired with black heels, French tip nails with gold rings, and your natural curls pulled up in a cute bun. Your plump lips are adorned with lip gloss, and Your dark brown skin beautifully shines.
Kelvin and Aaron were matching with you, wearing the classic black suits, with white tee shirts, and black pants without ties, thin gold chains draped around their necks while diamond stud earrings hung in their ears.
They were so handsome, and the size difference was cute, Aaron was much taller in person though. Was Aaron a Greek god in another life? You wouldn't be surprised.
“Y/N, do you think the film accurately portrays modern black relationships?” the interviewer chimed in, his voice smooth and inviting.
“Absolutely, the film highlights the complexities and intricacies that many couples face today. Not just about love, but heartbreak and understanding,” you replied, your voice steady and calm.
As the interview wrapped up, you felt a rush of relief. You stepped out of the studio and outside to the lane that led to the red carpet, the rush of the day almost dissipating.
“Great work, we’re getting to the finish line,” Aaron spoke up, nodding.
“Yeah, we did,” You sighed until the both of them noticed that you looked exhausted. Burn out approaching.
“You okay baby?” Kelvin asked concerned, his brows raising.
You shake your head, “No, sweetie. I’m tired as hell,”
Kelvin rubbed your back in the soothing circle, the feel of his hand and the cold chill from the gold metal of his ring sent a shiver down your spine.
“It’s going to be alright, once we’re done with this red carpet, we’ll be heading home after that okay?” Kelvin reassured you softly, kissing your cheek.
You nodded, biting down on your lip as you gazed upon the man, he smelled good with the scent of cinnamon and citrus. Your hand rested on the back of his neck, your thumb swiped over. He groaned lowly.
Regrettably, the gossip and dating scene have been lacking recently; you vowed to avoid dating celebrities because of all the negative press surrounding them, as they tend to be deceitful and dishonest.
Until your best friend, Nia introduced you to Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Aaron Pierre, others would assume that you were dating Aaron but you explained repeatedly that you were just friends, nothing more.
Kelvin had his eyes on the moment he met you, and he wasn't like the rest, he was funny, kind, patient and charismatic.
The better you got to know him, the closer you became, transforming the typical friends-to-lovers storyline from the film you acted in into something genuine in real life—who would have thought?
The three of you stepped toward the red carpet laid out for you, a fence in front of you to block paparazzi from stepping too close, Kelvin and Aaron stayed between you, he held your hand.
Your anxiety fell silent amidst of the overlapping chatter of the paparazzi, bright flickering lights from every corner and Kelvin’s thumb swiped over your palm. Exhaling through your fake smile, almost there to the finish line like Aaron.
Relax, you said in the depths of your mind. It almost suffocating from amount of things happening all at once. Your cheeks on your face ached again, your mom did tell you that if you kept that face, it would freeze up like that.
Was she just messing with you? Yeah, she definitely was. You resumed walking close with Kelvin along the velvet red carpet as you peeped at the waiting limo at the end of the carpet rope. So close.
Until you were stopped by someone in the paparazzi, fuck, you were so close. They annoyed the hell of you A LOT. The fact they get paid a huge amount of money for this should be a crime.
“Show us some love!” a photographer shouted out with enthusiasm.
Next thing you know, Aaron strode past the two of you before winking at you while Kelvin’s hand snaked from your back to around your waist, wrapped around you like a warm blanket on a snow day.
“I’ve got you, don't worry,” Kelvin said in a reassuring tone, smiling at you as you mirrored the warm action.
The warmth of Kelvin’s body against yours caused your heart to flutter, his touch made you feel safe, protected from everything and everyone out there, especially in Hollywood, another destructive, soul-sucking world that you heard of, seen in documentaries, scary Lifetime movies, tv shows, the news.
A series of crazy shit flying around and you refused to catch it, you couldn't. You've worked too diligently and consistently to get where you are today.
That is definitely what everyone feels, you couldn't be like them.
Kelvin’s head turned towards you, leaning in close before you did, his plump lips brushed against yours, pressing his onto yours gently. You kissed him back passionately after pulling away from each other.
“We’ve got a new star couple!” someone shouted in glee, you couldn't help but mentally roll your eyes. Here we go.
That was the big announcement from the two of you and to the world.
You were dating Kelvin secretly until the two of you had the conversation of not wanting to be a secret anymore, people had a lot to say, and celebrity relationships won’t last long, in and out like a drive-thru. Cheating, sex scandals, some weird cult shit, or some connection to Illuminati.
Aaron, your manager Leona, and your bodyguard Felix were the only people who knew.
But you didn't let what other people say or think, or do kill your joy, Kelvin and you were happy with each other, that is what mattered most.
“I'll see you lovebirds later,” Aaron spoke up, waving goodbye to you.
You waved back in response, smiling at Aaron with a head tilt. He was so sweet, you focused on the cameras flashing before winking at the camera.
At this point, when is it going to be over? It had to be.
You walked through the strobing lights of the cameras, moving from side to side in those same painful heels. With a forced smile for the photographers and your boyfriend by your side, you were nearing the limousine.
“Time to leave, beautiful,” he whispered in your ear, gently guiding you toward the sleek, black limo.
“Thank God,” you whispered back, turning to face him, walking toward the door as Kelvin opened the door.
You ducked your head and settled into the plush suede backseat of the limo with its tinted deep windows, which was spacious and the color of ink black for the seats and the car floor below your heels were soft as a cloud, the color of macaroon cream.
Kelvin ducked his head and settled onto the suede backseat beside you, grinning at you like he was ready to eat you out in the backseat as he shut the door behind himself. “Glad that’s over and done with, now I can focus on you,” he said, his tone low and seductive.
You chuckled lightly, biting down your lips, clenching your legs before opening the door to the refrigerator and grabbing a champmage botte, “I need a drink first before I deal with your nasty ass,” you shot back using a sinful smirk.
The limo had buttons atop your heads, for the white florescent lights including a small refrigerator for drinks, water bottles, champagne, and wine.
He grabbed the glasses and passed one to you, before kissing your lips again, the taste of strawberry lips gloss adorned his lips, your thumb carefully rubbed it off. He groaned at your touch, damn he was in love with you.
You were 100% sure that Kelvin was so smitten with you, he indeed was.
“My nasty ass?” Kelvin asked in a tone as if he was shocked, his hand resting on the armrest.
“Yeah, you heard me right, Mr. Harrison. All those kisses on the red carpet, I can't help but feel like you're trying to stake your claim,” You laughed, pouring the champagne into the glasses.
Kelvin raised an eyebrow, leaning closer, his voice dropping an octave. “And what if I am? You’re mine, Y/N. And I'm yours, You know that, right?”
You felt heat rise to your cheeks as you took a sip of the bubbly drink. “I do know that, but let’s not forget that the limo driver is watching us, he’s probably a pervert,” you whispered back.
Until you suddenly realize that the limo driver was a woman, her brown skin and brown eyes go with her makeup, her lush lips in red lipstick, giving you a reassuring smile through the rearview mirrors. The limo peeled away from the event, gliding smoothly onto the road where your destination was.
“Oh, you didn't? I'm so glad that she’s a woman but you never know these days,” You mentioned with a shrug.
“Agreed, I'm not sure about how long this drive so how about we make the most of it? Hm?” Kelvin asked with a soft hum, shrugging.
The two of you finished your drinks, feeling the buzz of the drink flow through you, “Yeah, how about we try an exhibitionist kink that I want to do?” You suggested to him.
The sleek limo began to take a gentle turn to the right, going through the bright towering lights and passing through other cars, paying them no mind, as if you two were the only ones in the world.
Kelvin nodded, it was something that he never thought he’d do but with you, he wanted to try it. Just thought of it turned him on. An idea popped up in his head.
“Just imagine…there’s the driver named uh…Kendra watching us and the cameras few inches away from us, and here we are,” Kelvin replied in a seductive time.
You grinned at the man before kissing down his neck, “You’re bad, huh?” you said to him.
“Only for you, baby, but what do you want to do first?” Kelvin asked with that sinful grin, kissing your lips again.
His fingers trailing over your arm and shivered from his touch, with your hand snaked below his pants before stopping, “Can I suck your dick while the driver watches? Just a taste Kel?” you whispered softly in his ear.
His breath hitched from your voice, and he nodded at you. “Y/N..yes you can, don't make me beg,” he sighed blissfully with a smirk. He was in for a treat from you, he didn't even know it yet.
And with his consent, you unzipped his zipped and gently slid down his boxers and pants a little bit, kissing his tip before wrapping your mouth around his thick, long brown dick, his arms rested on the armrest of the limo.
His tongue gliding over his lips, he groaned loudly once you bopped your head onto his dick, your tongue tracing shapes on the veins, he knew you looked so gorgeous doing this, “Fuck…so beautiful, suck it harder..” Kelvin panted heavily, his head fell back onto the soft cushion.
“Mmm..so good,” you mumbled lowly, your hand stroking him with your fingers rolling between his balls, he grunted once he locked eyes with the female limo driver. The soft slurping and squelching sounds filled the car, the warmth of your mouth spurred him one.
“That mouth of yours..is perfect, I couldn't resist you, seeing you walk down that carpet…fuck!” Kelvin shouted out, pushing his hip upwards.
Your palm stroked Kelvin's dick with your cheeks hollowing around him as spit dripped from the corner of her lips, spit stuck to your hand and tricked down to his balls, "Fuck..Y/N.." he groaned deeply, his hands gripping the armrest tightly, You moaned around him, sending vibrations through his body.
“It’s turning me on when you suck this dick, the driver is watching us…that feels so fucking good,” Kel moaned again, hearing your muffled moans in response, filling that exhibitionist side of you once the driver’s eyes flickered back to Kelvin.
You bopped your head faster and your cheeks hollowed harder, wetting his dick and seats up, covered with drops of precum and spit. Staining his pants, your dress. Good thing both of you wore black, “Just like that! Shit!”
His balls tightened in response around your fingers, Kelvin’s mouth parted as you twisted your hand around his dick, squeezing it lightly. “Shit!….Shit!…Y/N, please!” he begged for you, he gasped as if he lost oxygen in his lungs.
Finally, he reached it, Kelvin's hot cum spilling into your mouth, you quickly swallowed every drop while you lifted you head,
“It was good wasn't it?” You bragged with confidence, Smiling and using a warm towel from the edge to clean your mouth, you tossed it into the trash. You put his dick back into his boxers, he zipped them up, and pulled up his pants.
Before you could reply, his hand settled on the back of your neck, drawing you in. He kissed you passionately and intensely, and as you returned the kiss, you let out a moan. When you finally pulled away, a strand of saliva connected your lips and his.
“That was amazing, baby, my turn,” Kelvin sang playfully, giving you an tender kiss as you moaned, your pussy from his touch.
More friction, desperately.
You leaned in, “Touch me, please,” you whimpered softly, giving him consent to touch you.
His fingers grazed the edge of your dress as Kelvin planted kisses on your collarbone, marking your deep brown skin with hickeys. “K-Kelvin…” you moaned again, His fingers slipped beneath your panties, sensing your wetness through the fabric, humming softly in response against your shoulder.
“I couldn't leave my girl like this, so wet just from sucking my shit off?” Kelvin asked in a deep tone, his voice deepening. His finger rubbing your clit. “Y-yeah, I-it was big, couldn't fit it all..” you groaned before moving your hips. No teasing was a rule of yours, but Kelvin’s hand slid through your panties, pinching your clit.
He pushed your panties to the side, and rolled them down and off your ankles. You parted your legs wide for him, while gazing into his eyes, “You’re so fucking nasty, girl,” he groaned softly, his legs parted a bit.
His fingers parted your folds and slipped inside with ease, making you moan wildly, causing Kendra to look back at him but she paid attention to the road still. “Shhh, I got you, my girl’s been stressed out?” he said, his lips nibbling on your bottom lip, the taste of wine and lip gloss.
“Kel..fuck!” you cried out, rolling your hips to that torturous pace, your arms wrapped around his shoulders tight, he must've told the driver to take the long way, your essence poured onto the seats, as he gently pulled the strings of your dress, your breasts poked out. He licked his lips.
“Beautiful titties,” he mumbled, his hands cupping your breasts softly, pinching your nipples roughly before sucking the right softly. “Mhhm..” you hummed but moaned, you’d almost forgotten that you were still in the limo, you definitely needed this. Your hand rested on the back of his nape, feeling that comforting warmth.
In need of his touch as if it was religious, you hoped to your ancestors and God above that Kendra kept driving, eventually you would get home later, you need more.
His fingers thrust in and out of you, he watched your face scrunch up in pleasure, he pressed your back to his clothed chest. “I love it when you make a fucking mess on my fingers, I can't wait to feel it on my dick,” He teased, curling up his fingers. He was so nasty, so passionate. His dick hardens in his pants.
“I..i..I love this shit with you, so much, get deeper for me papa,” You babbled softly, panting while moving your hips a bit. Your hands gripped the armrest, Kelvin was still behind you, keeping you close so you wouldn't hurt yourself.
“Oh shit! Shit! Kelvin!” you moaned suddenly once his fingers slid in deeper, your wet walls clenched tightly around his digits. Your wetness covered him completely and stained his pants but didn’t care.
The limo resumed driving straight again, while the little bumps on the roads made every sensation. Your pussy sucked his fingers right back in and clenched tight, “That’s right, you feel it? That pussy sucked me back in..fuck,” Kelvin groaned raspily, biting down his lip, You gasped, feeling the rhythm of his fingers and the warmth of his body pressed against yours.
The thrill of being in a moving vehicle, with the driver just a few feet away, was pulling you close to the edge. You were so close, but you weren't ready to go home; he pressed his bulge against you and moved his hips, “Don't see what you do to me?” Kelvin groaned as he felt your ass against him, giving your backside a playful smack that made you moan, clearly turned on by you.
His thumb flattened on your clit and circled, your mind blurred from pleasure and saw thousands of stars behind your closed eyelids, you were moaning loudly as his fingers went faster. “That pussy knows me so well,” Kelvin teased with a grin.
“You’re so good to me, just a little more baby,” You begged, your voice softened a bit, his fingers hit that sweet spot. Moving in a ‘come here’ motion over and over. “I got you,”
You nodded, feeling the tension build within you, the pressure mounting as he resumed to thrust his fingers, in and out, curling them just right to hit that sweet spot. “You drive me crazy, I'm gone fuck you so good when we get in that house,”
After his fingers turned sporadic and curled again, you felt yourself clench around his fingers. Waves crashing over you as you cried out his name, “Kelvin!”
He slowed his movements, letting you ride out the waves of your orgasm, feeling you pulse around him. The rush of it left you breathless, and you leaned back against his chest, panting as the aftershocks coursed through you.
“Damn, you’re beautiful when you cum,” he murmured, planting soft kisses along your shoulder and lips, sending little sparks of electricity through your body.
You turned to face him, still catching your breath. “You’re not too bad yourself,” you teased, a playful smile creeping onto your lips.
Kelvin chuckled, the sound low and rich, filling the quiet space of the limo. “I love you,” he said, he pulled out his fingers, watching you tie up the strings in the back of your dress.
“I love you too,” you agreed, stealing a quick kiss from him, feeling the warmth radiating between you.
As the car slowed down, you could see the lights of your house glowing in the distance. “Looks like we're almost home,” you said, a hint of reluctance in your voice.
“That was fun, I liked that,” Kelvin replied, grinning like it was his birthday and he enjoyed his present. His eyes are still on you.
You nodded, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks, “Yeah, I liked it too,” you said, that shy side coming out.
The limo finally came to a stop, and the driver turned to look at you both. “We’ve arrived,” she announced with a knowing smile, as if she understood the connection that had just blossomed between you two.
“Thanks, Kendra,” you said, feeling a bit shy as you realized the driver had witnessed more than just a simple kiss.
Kelvin opened the door, helping you out as you stepped onto the pavement. The cool night air hit your skin, and you shivered slightly, but Kelvin wrapped his arm around you, pulling you close again. He closed the door and let Kendra that he pay her immediately, apologizing for the mess on the seats.
“Let’s get inside,” he said, his tone both playful and protective.
Once inside, you closed the door behind yourself. Kelvin brought you into the bedroom, removing his suit as you peeled off your dress. He quickly kissed you, your lips meeting. Your legs spread, he buried his dick inside you. His hands on your hips.
“My beautiful girl,” he groaned softly.
And with that, he made love to you all night long, distrubing your neighbors who obviously sent a nose complaint but you knew Kelvin would talk care of it. Your moans echoed through the walls, he kissed your shoulder and said, “Fuck ‘em, you can scream as loud as you want to,”

one way | kelvin harrison, jr.
Tumblr media
part one
pairing: kelvin harrison jr x black fem oc (nia) summary: nia has kelvin wrapped around his finger. so much so that when he misses her, he goes above and beyond to do something about it. warnings: none wc: 5,341 an: listen to one way by 6lack & tpain. also, I decided to make this a mini series. so, this is some time (an unspecified time) later. remember: likes are nice, but reblogs and comments are encouraged! tags: @kirayuki22 @greedyjudge2 @notapradagurl7 @irishmanwhore @honeytoffee @theogbadbitch @jazziejax
Work trips usually thrilled Kelvin. The allure to explore the world on his company’s dollar sparked child-like glee. First-class seats with heated eye masks and champagne, king-sized beds with duvets white as freshly fallen snow, and cuisines so rich in flavor they inspired his dinner menu for his evolving dinner menu back home.
But this work trip was different.
The clatter of silverware in the hotel restaurant felt deafening. The nightlife of the city below grated his nerves like nails on a chalkboard, mocking him. His eyes found a couple, smiling and twirling on the sidewalk. He was green with envy as visuals of their love blinded him. Even cheesy romantic comedies on free streaming felt empty without someone to giggle over the awkward scenes.
For the first time, Kelvin didn’t bask in the thrill of the escape from his life back home. He was drowning in the stillness of loneliness. And he hated it.
-
Once a month, Nia took a Friday off. She dedicated it to deep cleaning her home, doing laundry that may have gotten caught in the crossfire of work and other responsibilities, self-care, and anything else that fit on the long list stamped on the front of her refrigerator. The reset day was often intense and busy. It took a toll on her body, but having everything done by early afternoon was an accomplishment—an accomplishment she celebrated with Chinese food and peach-infused wine.
Nia sat in the corner of her L-shaped couch, laundry scattered to her left and folded piles on her right. The Lion King played softly in the background as she worked through the last of her baskets, humming along to "Be Prepared." Well, humming might be generous. Kelvin would call it her "tone-deaf symphony," but she didn’t care.
Folding clothes was tedious—her least favorite chore. Four baskets of proof surrounded her. Her mom loved laundry, but Nia avoided it like the plague, only tackling it when she had no choice.
Mid-hum, her ringtone blared, ear-blitzing and obnoxious.
She stretched over a pile of clothes, her eyes still glued to the screen, and patted around until her hand found her phone. She swiped and accepted the call without looking at the caller's identification. “Hello?” Her voice was soft but curious, still folding.
“What are you doing?” Kelvin. His voice was low and easy, like a Sunday morning. She shifted in her seat at the sound of his tone scratching a part of her brain she didn’t know could feel an itch. She heard the life of the city bustling in the background. She smiled softly as if he could see her. "Laundry," she replied, still focused on the task.
“Why? She asked cautiously, wondering why a response didn’t come from him for multiple minutes.  Kelvin didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she was met with the pitter-patter of his thumbs against the screen that sounded a lot like her mother’s keyboard when she angrily typed emails to her teachers for not letting her use the bathroom.
Then, calmly as if it wouldn't change her evening: “Smooth. Pack a bag.” Kelvin had a certain way with words, she noted. Sometimes, he spoke in a way that expected a response to keep a conversation going. But an assertiveness in his voice left no room for response; it was like a four-word monologue that made her stomach clench with equal parts curiosity and the kind of flutter only Kelvin could.
In her shock, she paused. A silence so complete that it hummed through the hair. Then: “What?”
The breath he huffed out told her he didn’t like repeating himself. But, he would have to. He went from sending her cute messages with strings of emojis, declaring he missed her and couldn’t wait to see her, to firmly telling her to pack a bag.
“Pack a bag,” he repeated, his voice unwavering. Her eyebrows raised, and her head jerked back. “Your flight leaves in four hours.”
Nia startled out a laugh, the kind that started in her throat but didn’t quite reach her chest. He had to be kidding. He was quite the jokester, always finding a way to pull her leg. But this was a joke she didn’t want to partake in. “Kelvin, are you—dude, what? Are you serious?”
“I told you I don’t like to lie, Nia,” was his response. She swallowed. “I already booked the ticket. I sent it to your email.”
Silence on the other end stretched again, but he could hear her faint exhale, the sound of a laugh she fought to suppress. “You didn’t even ask me.” How did he know she didn’t have any last-minute plans? Not that she did, but the question would’ve been nice. Her eyes darted to the laundry, trying to determine how many outfits she could make if she decided to go.
She could hear the smug smile stretching across his lips like a Cheshire cat. Wide and arrogant. “I didn’t have to. But feel free to say no. I can always get a credit. Take a solo trip to Europe, or whatever the hell y'all be doing.” Bastard.
Nia swallowed thickly. “You’re very sure of yourself,” she managed, but her voice betrayed her without a second thought.
Kelvin hummed like a preacher in the church.“Yeah,” he replied, the lazy confidence in his voice matched only by the image she conjured of him leaning back, probably smirking like he’d won something big. "I don’t leave room for guessing when it comes to you.” Had God answered her prayers? To have a man be serious about her to where he’d pulled out that heavy-ass credit card and made accommodations for her to be beside him for the weekend.
Her breath caught. The kind of confidence left her toes curling and her heart sprinting like FloJo. She shifted in her seat again, the sudden heat between her thighs growing warmer by the second. She tried to find her footing and gain a sense of self-control to push back against the storm of him. Nah, he wasn't a storm. He was a hurricane--intense and uncontrollable, with the power to consume her whole. She'd let him.
"Anyway," he sighed, a soft grunt following as his chair creaked. "The Uber will be there in an hour."
Nia chuckled breathlessly. Her eyes fell on the half-folded shirt in her lap. He was serious. "You, Kelvin, are impossible."
Kelvin’s laugh rang through the phone like he knew exactly how she was fighting the urge to drop everything and get to it. "You should probably get to it, Nia. Time's ticking."
"Yeah, yeah," she said as nonchalantly as she could. She carefully slid off the couch, praying he wouldn't hear her moving at his command. "Now, get off my phone so I can finish what I was doing. Bye, Kelvin."
"You know, I like how you say my name." Her gasp pulled a chuckle from him. Before he could reply, she pulled her phone away from her ear and pressed the end, her eyes staring blankly at the wall. He played too damn much.
She dropped her phone on the couch, ignoring its soft click when it collided with the remote, and paced in the living room. Glancing at the clock, she saw forty-five minutes. She could do this. She wasn't a last-minute packer, but Kelvin's urgency made her second-guess every outfit she pulled from her closet.
"Pack for a weekend getaway," she muttered, grabbing a handful of clothes from the pile. "It's not that hard." Panties, bra, satin pajamas. Would a dress be needed? Of course; what if they went to dinner? Short, long, slit, or no slit?
Nia dropped her phone, pacing in the living room, pretending this wasn’t the most nerve-wracking thing she’d done all week.
She tossed another shirt onto the bed and squinted at it. Was this cute enough? She didn’t even know what they’d be doing—he could’ve been sending her to the middle of nowhere for all she knew. Still, she folded it carefully, like she wasn’t imagining how his arms would feel around her when she landed.
Don’t think about him. Don’t think about how much you want to be with him already.
With one last glance at the time, she grabbed her bag, mentally telling herself that she could pull this off. She didn’t need to panic. But as the seconds ticked away, she realized one thing was for sure—she wasn’t packing fast enough.
-
Kelvin leaned against the sleek, black SUV, arms crossed and a smile tugging on his lips as he waited. He couldn't remember the last time he was this eager to pick someone up--probably never if he was being honest with himself.
It wasn't just that she was flying in to see him, though that part made his heart leap. It was the fact that she'd be his in a way she had never been before. No distractions, no hiccups, nothing pulling them away from one another. The thought had been driving him mad since he booked her flight. He imagined every detail his brain could come up with--hearing her call his name from the bathroom as she got ready, watching her nose scrunch as she giggled at awkward scenes in corny romantic comedies, feeling her body against his as she slept, tasting the mint on her lips as his tongue caressed hers. He closed his eyes briefly. He couldn't lose his composure in public, but he was teetering on the edge.
His phone buzzed in his pocket, pulling him out of these thoughts. He grabbed it, a text from her awaiting his attention.
Almost there. Don't make me wait.
A slow, knowing smile spread across his lips. Nia wouldn't let him get away with anything, mainly not a tease. But he had no plan to keep her waiting. No, there was no time to waste. It wasn't a casual meetup between two old flings because he couldn't keep it in his pants long enough to wait to get home. This was the physical manifestation of his heart's desire coming to fruition.
It was the culmination of restless nights replaying her laugh in his head, wondering if she fell asleep thinking about him, too. It resulted from careful, meticulous planning, cautious restraint, and self-control that worked together to write a story unfolding better than he could have imagined.
He typed a quick reply.
Never. I'll be waiting.
Everything seemed to slow down when he saw her stepping out through the terminal doors. All he saw was her. She in all her angelic glory. The sun shone brightly, and her nose crinkled as she squinted. Her hair, let loose to do its thing, blew across her face. He could hear her giggle as she swiped the unruly strands from her face. Her eyes darted left and right, looking for him in the sea of bodies. But when her eyes met him, the slight smile on her face grew so big that he could hardly see her eyes.
"Hey, pretty girl," the words slipped out before he could stop them. His voice was lower than usual, a little raspier, the affection undeniable.
Nia took a final step toward him, almost chest-to-chest with the man who'd turned her life upside down. She visibly softened beneath his gaze, like an invisible weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Her shoulders rounded, her complete lips parted, and her eyelashes brushed against the high points of her cheek with every blink she made. God, she was so damn pretty.
"How was the flight?" Kelvin’s words came muffled as he grabbed her carry-on and put it in the backseat, the body of the large truck decreasing the volume of his words. He moved to open the passenger door, which brought 24 white roses, and her favorite candy stopped her in her tracks. Her bottom lip poked out in a slight pout, and she looked at him with gleaming eyes that sparkled like stars.
“Kelvin…” Her voice broke slightly, soft and full of something that tightened his chest. E
“I figured you’d need a proper welcome,” he replied, feigning nonchalance, though the amusement in his voice betrayed him. Her reaction was priceless. If only he could’ve snapped a photo to have it with him forever. “Come on, get in.” Kelvin moved the flowers from her seat, waited for her to adjust, and placed them in her lap. Nia tried to say something, but the words didn’t come. She laughed softly and looked at him like he hung the moon and the stars. Her fingers caressed the delicate petals in awe.
Kelvin closed the door behind her and slid into the driver’s seat, quickly drifting out of the airport parking lot. A comfortable silence settled between them, wrapped around them like a hug. Nia unwrapped the gummy nag, popping one into her mouth. He glanced at her, the dim streetlights playing across her features like a spotlight. She was a one-woman show, and he, her audience, was captured and enticed by everything she did.
Her soft voice broke through the silence. “Can I hold your hand?” He saw her looking at him through his peripheral vision. She was curious to hear his response but already knew the answer.
Kelvin blinked one, two, three times. His fingers tightened slightly on the steering wheel. “Huh?”
She turned her head toward him, her expression steady but expectant. “Your hand. Can I hold it?”
His breath hitched like he’d been snatched back, and he fought the smirk tugging at his lips. He reached across the center console without a word, letting his hand fall into hers. Her fingers laced with his, petite and warm. It was simple, but how she looked at their joined hands had him swallowing hard. What could be going on in that pretty little head of hers? His thumb brushed her knuckles, a small act that felt wildly intimate.
“You’re dangerous, girl,” he murmured, his voice low enough to blend with the hum of the car. Nia tilted her head, brows lifted. “Me? Dangerous?”
He momentarily tore his eyes from the road to look into her eyes as his lips brushed against her knuckles. “Yeah. Got me acting all kinds of soft.”
It was Nia’s turn to smirk. She hummed, off-key, might he add, and said, “Good. You should be.”
-
“Not bad,” Nia teased as she circled the hotel room, tossing a small smile over her shoulder. She’d been in her fair share of hotels, but this one took the cake. “It’s beautiful.” Her boots kissed the carpet, which looked new, as none of the fibers were out of place and smelled fresh like daisies. Her purse slid off her shoulder with a thump as she let it fall against the couch. Her fingers ran across the top of the pillows, her nails catching slightly in their loose threads.
Kelvin leaned against the doorframe, his eyes following her every move. He couldn’t help but feel like the smile she tossed over her shoulder was meant for him, and he couldn’t help but smile back, even if she weren’t looking.
Nia turned left and took two steps, her stride slow and deliberate as she approached the window. Her eyes widened like she’d seen Christmas lights for the first time as she drank in the wonder of New York City. With her forehead pressed against the cool glass, she craned her neck back and forth to embrace the beauty of the fast-paced life. The muffled sound of car engines and honking horns hummed harmoniously, with the air conditioning system blending into the background. She was in awe of New York. He was in awe of her.
“This is my first time in New York,” Nia said once she sensed his presence behind her. She sighed softly, her breath creating a small circle of fog on the glass. She drew a smiley face in its wake, then wrapped her arms around herself, massaging her elbows in a twisting motion as if she needed comfort. “I dreamt about it, but it always seemed out of reach.” Kelvin acknowledged her with a nod that she couldn’t see. She felt the warmth radiating from his body and leaned back to experience just a spark of the flame. His chin on her shoulder made her knees buckle, to which she leaned back, letting his firm body carry her weight.
He knew she’d never been. Though he selfishly wanted to see her, he knew she’d never been to New York. In his mind, killing two birds with one stone seemed feasible. It made sense. He got what he wanted, and she got to experience an environment that seemed a universe away. But she didn’t need to know all of that. So instead, he let his hand trail down her arm and settle hand as he whispered against the shell of her ear, “I know.”
-
The sound of the water shutting off echoed through the hotel suite, and Kevin was there, adjusting his suit jacket in the mirror. Nimble fingers stumbled over each button, trying to force it between each loop. He didn’t hear her step out, but he knew the moment she did—there was no mistaking it. The soft rustle of the towel and the scent of vanilla and cedarwood filled the room like a gentle caress. His pulse quickened.
Turning his head slightly, he caught sight of her reflection. She stepped out of the bathroom, her towel barely hanging, just low enough to tease. His eyes traced the curve of her silhouette, the way her skin glowed, damp and soft as she had just walked out of his dreams. There was something about the way she didn’t rush to cover herself. She moved confidently as she knew exactly what effect she had on him—and she wasn’t shy about it.
He couldn’t help but watch as she glanced at him through the mirror, her brown eyes locking with his. Her lips twitched into that playful smile he adored, and for a split second, he wondered if she could see how badly he wanted her. He cleared his throat, running a hand over his jacket again, though the tension in the room wasn’t about fabric anymore. It was about the two of them, the space between them shrinking by the second.
She shifted, pulling her towel just a little tighter, though she didn’t seem to be in a rush to move away from him. She knew exactly what she was doing. "You're still here?" she asked, her voice teasing but soft like she was giving him the green light to stay. The soft pitter-patter of her feet against the tile floor made his eyes drop. Her nails were painted red, a rich shade that complimented her skin beautifully. His eyes fluttered closed briefly as he inhaled deeply.
“Yeah,” he said, opening his eyes, his voice low, full of intention. “I’m admiring the view.”
Her gaze flickered over him, and for the first time, he saw her let her guard slip. She didn’t avert her eyes or try to hide how she was taking him in. No, she leaned into it—allowing him to see the hunger in her gaze, the way her lips parted slightly. Any other day, if he caught her gaze lingering longer than usual, she’d stall like a deer in headlights, like a criminal caught for petty theft. She was letting him watch her.
A beat passed, and she caught his eye again in the mirror without warning. And just like that, something shifted. The way Nia held his gaze told him she was just as comfortable with him in the room. The quiet, simmering tension between them cracked, and she said it—soft and unexpectedly as if it had slipped out without thinking. “Help me with my zipper?”
Kelvin didn’t have the chance to answer. The casual nature of her movements let him know it wasn’t a question but an expectation to be fulfilled. And yet, even with her confidence boiling over like a kettle too whole, he had not expected her to release her towel like she was the only one in the room. Kelvin’s lips parted to release a shuddered breath he prayed only he could hear.
She was brilliant; she’d already shimmied her way into her panties, presumably in the shower, but everything else was exposed, well, almost. He’d seen more skin than he’d ever had throughout their relationship, which was deliciously overwhelming. Her hips bit the waistband of the thin panties and hardly held everything she had.
Nia held the towel over her breasts and looked around for her moisturizer. She mumbled incoherent words to herself, lost in her world as though the man she shared a space with wasn’t losing his inhibitions with every passing second. “Kel.” He was pulled out of Lalaland. “My dress is on top of my suitcase. Can you grab it for me?”
Gladly. He needed a moment to collect himself before he went ballistic. Turning on the balls of his feet, Kelvin did as she instructed. The dress was nothing he’d ever expect her to wear, but he was more than ready to see how the sleek, green dress would accentuate her curves and glisten against her skin.
“This is nice,” he mumbled, carrying it back into the bathroom. Nia turned over her shoulder and smiled. That Colgate-white smile. His right released the hanger from the confines of the dress, tugging softly at the zipper. She took it from his grasp gently, whispering her gratitude, and shimmied into it. Dear God.
“I think you have a staring problem,” Nia teased, locking eyes with him in the mirror as she adjusted the dress to cover her breasts. Kelvin’s head tilted to the side and his tongue ran over his top row of teeth. He shook his head. “Like I said, admiring the view.”
“Zip me, please?” She asked to his reflection in the mirror, shamelessly dragging her eyes down his frame. How much tighter could his clothes get in one night? Kelvin’s steps were slow and calculated as he inched closer to her. As the distance between them closed, the tension amplified further than it had thus far.
Nia shuddered in anticipation as she felt his warm hands against the small of her back. His hands were large, palms covering a quarter of her lower back. His thumb caressed the skin there, pausing over the faded tattoo. “Cute,” he murmured. Lover, written in a cursive script. His left hand found her waist, holding and cupping in an almost possessive manner, while his right slowly, almost agonizingly slow, pulled her zipper up. His fingertips lingered at the back of her neck, enjoying how the skin raised and how her pulse quickened beneath them.
His lips parted, but the words were lost. Here she was, back pressed against him, chest heaving, eyes fluttering as she anticipated what would happen next. Hell, he didn’t know either, but what he was sure of was the way she tasted had to be glorious. “You look beautiful.” His sentiment came out in a hushed whisper against the shell of her ear, to which she whimpered. “So beautiful.”
Kelvin’s lips hovered over her neck, just hardly grazing her hot skin. Once by her side, her hands gripped the countertop to steady her weak knees. Kelvin saw them in the mirror, and a devil-may-care smile threatened to curl on his lips. He could take her right here. Take off her dress—better yet, have it bunched around her hips as he took her from behind, forcing her to watch how pretty she looked when she was begging for more. But it was too early for that. He’d turn her every way but loose, but the time wasn’t right, no matter how badly he wanted to yank the clock off the wall and force its hands forward.
“I thought you had manners, Nia, what happened?” He teased, nibbling on the shell of her ear. His hand slithered around her back and toward her stomach until it settled at her pubic bone, dangerously close to where the slit of her dress was. One deliberate move, and she’d be his for the taking. “I said, you look beautiful. So pretty.”
Nia inhaled deeply, and her voice broke slightly. Her head fell back against his shoulder, and her tongue darted out to dampen her dry lips. “Thank you, baby.” Baby? That was new.  He smirked against her skin. He had her where he wanted her, yearning for him, but not to where a line would be crossed. A happy (temporary) medium. Before he got too deep and said screw the reservation, Kelvin announced: “Reservation’s in 30. I’ll let you finish.” With one last peck on her neck, he peeled his body away from hers and walked out of the bathroom, but not before digesting the low moan she released once she thought he was far enough. Ravishing.
She determined Kelvin would be the death of her. He was too much for her to handle, too hot for her to handle. She’d done well thus far, but as the night progressed and the fiery tension between them loomed like precipitous clouds, ready to rain down upon them, she didn’t know how long she could hold out.
She had a rule, and he knew it. But goodness gracious, she was ready to renege on everything she said when she stepped out of the bathroom and saw him posted against the wall, one foot crossed over the other, neck dropped, to better access what was on his phone.
Blue was his color. And it happened to be her favorite. Part of her assumed his sneaky ass wore the rich shade of blue to get her bent out of shape…or bent over. But this was Kelvin—cool, calm, and way too aware of the effect he had on her. The tailored suit he wore accentuated broad shoulders and a trim waist.
Her throat went dry as she traced his slim form. The low light from the chandelier shone on him like a spotlight, his waves catching the rays. He had an alluring presence that she was desperate to be wrapped in.
Kelvin glanced up, sensing her presence before she could speak. He smiled small, acknowledging her presence. His eyes swept over her frame, nodding in appreciation of the art before him. Somehow, she managed to look even more stunning than she did before. Her dress pooled at her ankles, but the slit on her left thigh allowed the gold accents on her shoes to shine. Her curly hair was in a slick bun, showing her neck and gorgeous collarbones. “You good?”
Good? Was she good? Hell no, she wasn’t good. Her body was buzzing like an electric wire. She was losing self-control and hardly wanted to go to dinner. She’d much instead release everything she’d been attempting to suppress. But he’d already seen her crumble. She couldn’t fully unravel yet. His head was already big; Lord forbid she gas it further.
“I’m good,” Nia lied, tucking her clutch under her arm. “You clean up nice. I like the blue.” Kelvin’s head dropped to examine his suit. It was as if he had dressed in the dark and hoped all the pieces matched. “This old thing? Thank you. But you, Niani…look like trouble.”
Her eyes closed briefly. No one said her full name. She didn’t like how anyone else said it—too much emphasis on the second A or insufficient focus on the first I. She liked how Kelvin said it, like a subtle praise she desired to hear on repeat.
Kelvin tilted his head, pushing off the wall to invade her space. She opened her eyes when his cologne wafted her nose. He noticed it. Her eyelashes fluttered against her cheeks, and her chest rose slightly higher on her next breath. One by one, the walls began to fall. Her reaction wasn’t lost on him. The first time she admitted Nia wasn’t her first name but rather a nickname derived from Niani, he tested it like an unusual food, rolling it around, tasting it until he felt right. He remembered how her pupils dilated, and her eyes darkened when it rolled off his lips.
She liked it when he said her name. And only he could say her name.
His hand grazed hers, intertwining their fingers. She flinched. He smiled knowingly, but her request took him aback: “Say it again.” Her breath was caught in her throat, and her voice trembled.
Kelvin leaned in just a little, his breath warm against her ear. The way he said it, low and possessive, made her shiver. Nia swallowed. Her knees were weak, and she wasn’t sure how much longer she could stand there, teetering on the edge, waiting for the right time to fall into him entirely.
He smiled again, pulling back just enough to give her a glimpse of what was coming. "Dinner’s wait—“
“—take me to bed.” It wasn’t a question. It wasn’t even a request. It was a demand as if she knew exactly what would happen next, and yet... part of her still wanted to hold on just a little longer.
Her words were not hesitant, but he could hear how her voice trembled. She’d permitted him to take things further. He wouldn’t go too far but far enough to leave her satisfied.
-
Nia hummed lowly as her heavy eyelids opened and closed slowly, and she struggled to regain her vision. The chandelier grew tired, leaving the room dimly lit with the city lights. The low buzz of the air conditioning system regulated her overwhelmed body.
She sat up with a soft grunt, bracing her body with one arm while her other kept the angelic white duvet over her bare chest. Her head craned to the right, seeing the bed bare, and frowned. Her eyes followed their clothes trail, leading to him standing in the corner of the room, back to her, and the hotel phone up to his ear. Like her, his evening attire was long gone, and sweatpants became his uniform. Nia bit her lip as she watched his back flex with each subtle movement.
She swung her legs over the bed, bending down to fish for an article of clothing to put on. He may have had a show, but with the windows wide open, the last thing she needed was her bare body on display for everyone to see. What she had was for his eyes only.
Nimble fingers curled around his white dress shirt, sliding it over her long arms. She buttoned it enough to keep her chest covered, then tip-toed to where he stood, eager to feel him against her again.
Slowly, she wrapped her arms around his bare waist, taking note of how he shuddered when the tips of her nails glided across his abdomen. Nia’s lips brushed against his shoulder, and then she pressed her cheek against his back, appreciating how the low rumble of his voice lulled her back to sleep. “That’s fine. Appreciate it, thank you.”
Kelvin dropped the phone back on the receiver and peered over his shoulder. “Hello to you, too.” Kelvin turned one foot over the other in her arms, taking in how relaxed she looked. Her makeup was smudged, and her lipstick stained the pillow, leaving her lips bare and waiting to be kissed. “Food’s on its way up.”
Nia nodded and made a noise, something between a content sigh and a low moan. He couldn’t decipher, but she sounded pleased, and that’s what mattered. “Come back to bed in the meantime?” She looked at him with those pretty brown eyes that had gotten him into trouble lately.
Kelvin nodded, leaning down to brush his lips against hers. “Lead the way.”

𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - F1!Damson Idris x Black! OC
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 - Famous formula one driver flirts with the girl of his dreams and she, not much to his surprise, flirts back. Their connection is apparent and palpable. Only thing is, she’s the daughter of his team principal and already dating his rival.
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - banter, flirting, cheating(??), sneaky
𝐉𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐞’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 - I wanted to write something for Damson but all my Franklin Saint stories require more time so here’s something short and sweet. And will probably turn in to something more…..also, DAMSON IDRIS NEEDS MORE ATTENTION ON THIS APP!!!( Also, the OC’s name is pronounced NO-EM-IE)

The paddock buzzed with energy under the sweltering sun. Engines roared in the background as mechanics swarmed around the cars, each tweak and adjustment critical. Cameras flashed, fans screamed, and the unmistakable tension of race day hung in the air.
Damson leaned casually against the side of his team's hospitality unit, dressed in his racing suit, the sleeves tied around his waist, every inch the confident driver ready to conquer the track. Sunglasses were perched on his face, his easy charm and magnetic smile made heads turn as he conversed with his team. His effortless charm couldn’t help but rub off onto her, he had it all—the speed, the talent, the fame—it made him an easygoing man. He had the things others craved even a morsel for. But what he loved most was the thrill of winning, both on and off the track. Though, as great as life was, the thrill off the track hasn’t been as fulfilling.
That’s when he saw her, Noémie Adebayo. She was a vision to those who watched in person and online, her fresh blowout swaying in the wind of the Saudi Arabian Air. Her white cotton set swayed as well, the wind giving her an angelic look as she strutted in, turning heads in the paddock. Noémie was as much a fixture in the paddock as the cars themselves. With her sharp wit and effortless style, she had a way of commanding attention without even trying. She was standing near her father, exchanging pleasantries with sponsors, but her laugh carried above the din, catching Damson’s ear like a siren’s call. Her laugh was light, carefree, and cut through the chaos that was F1.
He shouldn’t have looked at her the way he did. Noémie wasn’t just off-limits—she was untouchable. She was dating Nico Valdez, Griffin Motors’ golden boy and Damson’s fiercest rival on the track. She was also the only daughter of Antoine Adebayo, the team principal of APEX. His team. But rules, Damson always thought, were made to be broken. It’s why he was a champion now.
She caught his gaze, her dark-colored eyes shining as they locked with his for a moment too long. A smile curled at the corner of her lips as she turned back to the conversation she was having with her father.
"Careful, Idris," came a voice beside him. "You’re staring."
Damson glanced at his teammate, the brown woman was smirking at him as she adjusted the tool in her hands, coming from the pit crew.
"I’m just admiring the competition," Damson replied smoothly, his eyes still locked on Noémie as she tucked her blowing hair behind her ear. Simone furrowed her brows at him, eyes bouncing over to said woman.
"Competition? She’s not on the track, mate."
Damson smirked. "No, but she’s in the way."
He then pushed off the wall, his movements deliberate as he crossed the garage toward her. As he approached, Noémie turned, her eyes catching his. She didn’t look surprised—she never did.
"Noémie," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Always a pleasure." He said with a soft smile.
“It always is, to see you Damson,” Noémie said, her voice as smooth as silk, as if it exited her glossed lips and grazed against his skin. He hummed, his arms behind his back as he looked down at his kids at her. "Looking radiant as ever. You come here to cheer me on today?” He quipped, watching as an amused smile broke out into her lips that parted in a feigned gasp. "Cheer you on? I think you’re at the wrong paddock, Idris, my dear. Nico Valdez doesn’t take fans from last-place teams." Her jab was sharp, but the teasing tone in her voice gave her away.
"Last place?" He stepped closer, just enough to make her feel the heat of his presence. "You must not be paying attention then, love. You might want to focus less on your boyfriend and more on the man who’s going to leave him eating dust." He smirked before giving a small tilt of his head, his eyes drifting over her face. “A man who’s more worthy of your attention.” He added.
Noémie tilted her head, letting out a small gasp. “Damson!” She said, and her movements were as quick as light, her purse moving from one hand into the other so she could softly jab his covered shoulder. “That was rather sly of you.” She accused, looking up at him with a small smirk, her eyes glinting in the stadium lights. Although he could tell she was purely amused but his quips. “Cheeky.”
“You have to be in a game like this, darlin’.” He said, bringing his arm from behind his back and gesturing it towards the tracks that weren’t that far away from them. “How do you think I’ve been winning this long?”
“Talent.” She didn’t hesitate, her gaze not wavering from his as she tilted her head up at him. Damson’s mind halted, as well as his heart as he gaped down at her. She’d never know how the simplest of words uttered from her lips made him feel, even the mere sound of his name had him almost asking her if she could say it again, directly in his ear so he’d never forget the sound when they spent time away. And now, she’d just admitted what she thought of his profession—his career—and he didn’t think winning any race could make him feel like he did now. This was the high he’d been chasing.
He blinked, trying to gather anything else he could say since his mind went blank and his mother went dry.
His silence caused her smile to widen. "But those are bold words for a man who’s spun out twice in the last three races." She added.
Damson snapped out of his trance, chuckling. He then leaned in ever so slightly, his voice dropping low enough that only she could hear. "Careful, Noémie. Keep talking like that, and Nico’s not going to like the way you’re looking at me. You’re noticing things.”
Her breath caught for half a second—just long enough for him to notice. Her eyes didn’t leave him no matter where his dodged on her face, or how close he leaned in.
She recovered quickly, tilting her chin up. "I don’t know what you’re talking about, Damson." She said, her tone lighter than before.
"Don’t you?" he countered, his dark eyes holding hers. "You’re enjoying this." He said, his eyes jumping down to her lips when she rubbed them together to spread her gloss that had the tiniest bit of pink on top of her brown lip liner. “Our banter, of course.” He added cheekily.
She didn’t deny it. Instead, she raised an eyebrow, unflinching. "Careful, Idris. My father’s right over there.” She nodded her head over to the older man with a headset and the red hat on, only about ten feet away from where they were now. “You wouldn’t want him to think you’re distracted." She grinned. “By our, banter of course.” She tilted her head at him, just as cheeky as he was mockingly.
"Let him," Damson said with a grin. "I’m good at multitasking." He said, letting out a small laugh.
Noémie’s laugh was soft, almost inaudible over the noise of the paddock, but it sent a shiver down his spine.
“Shouldn’t you be focused on winning today? Or are you here to get pointers from Nico?" She was full on teasing now, not even trying to hide her grin as she tried to rile him up. Damson faces scrunched up as her lightly jerked his head back at her.
"Nico doesn’t have anything I need," Damson said, leaning in slightly to lean against one of the rials that deported the crew far from the track. His voice dropped. "But you, on the other hand…" He trailed off.
She smiled, holding up her nude manicured index finger. “Ah, Damson.” She cut him off, giving him a certain look. She glanced over her shoulder toward her father, then catching sight of Nico, who was walking toward them with his usual air of superiority.
"Careful what you say.” She murmured, her voice softer now. "Unless you want Nico and Baba to think you’ve got nothing better to do than waste time with me."
Damson smiled, stepping back but letting his gaze linger on her a second longer than necessary. "Time spent with you is never wasted, Nomi."
She rolled her eyes, but he didn’t miss the faint blush on her cheeks as she turned away, obviously due to the name she hasn’t heard anyone call her in a while. She smiled, stepping back just as Nico Valdez appeared, his sharp features twisting into a frown as he noticed the two of them standing far too close.
"Everything alright here?" Nico’s voice was clipped, his gaze bouncing between Damson and Noémie.
"Perfect," Damson replied smoothly, flashing Nico a grin that was all provocation. "Just welcoming Noémie to the paddock. Always good to see such… loyal fans." He said, only offering Nico a small glance as he spoke.
Noémie bit her lip to stifle a chortle as Nico bristled, his shoulders stiffening. "She’s here to support me, Idris. Not you. So maybe focus on staying on the track this time, yeah?"
Noémie was quick to whack her the back of her jeans chest Nico’s chest, all amusement dropping as she looked over at the man that stationed his leg behind her. “Watch it. He’s one of my dad’s best racers.” She hissed, pointing over at Damson. His brows quirked briefly at her clipped tone and sharp gaze on her partner, and the way she was quick to come to his defense. Nico’s jaw ticked as she glanced over at the man before them after giving his girlfriend an apologetic look.
Damson’s grin widened. "Oh, I’ll stay on track. And when I pass you, I’ll be sure to give Nomi a little wave." He said, the nickname rolling off his tongue too easily. Noémie’s gaze made its way back to him, her eyes softening and her smile subtle. But Damson’s eyes were trained on Nico, whose were locked on his.
The tension between the two drivers was electric, but Noémie broke the moment, placing a hand on Nico’s arm. "Let’s go, Nico," she said, her tone calm but her eyes sparkling with mischief as she glanced at Damson one last time. He gave them a lazy wave before heading back to his car.
As she walked away, Damson turned and called after her, his voice light but laced with meaning. "I’ll see you after the race, Noémie. I’ll save you a spot on the winner’s podium." She flashed a quick glance back at him, almost not noticeable with the way she swiped her hair over her shoulder. But he saw the flash of her pearly whites and the slight sway of her hips, telling him she’d heard him loud and clear.
He bit his lip with a smile before turning to quickly make his way back to his car. The race hadn’t even started yet, but Damson was already playing to win.

Can you write about Kelvin's character in Waves and his life after prison? Maybe he's out on parole or released for good behavior, trying to rebuild his life with his family. Y/N is an old friend who once loved him, but it was unrequited, so she had to watch him fall in love with that other girl back in high school.
Heeey. I had to do a crash course on this movie. Sorry this took forever.
The fluorescent lights of the corner store buzz faintly, blending with the quiet hum of Tyler’s thoughts. He’s been trying to keep a low profile since coming home, but even a quick trip to pick up a few essentials feels like walking a tightrope. He keeps his head down, his basket half full, when a soft, familiar voice stops him in his tracks.
“It’s nice to see you, Ty.”
He freezes, the words washing over him like a wave he wasn’t ready for. Turning slowly, he sees Jewel standing there, her smile warm and easy, just like he remembered. She’s holding a carton of oat milk in one hand and her phone in the other, her eyes sparkling with genuine surprise.
“Jewel?” His voice cracks slightly, disbelief mingling with something he can’t quite name—relief, maybe? It’s been years, but time hasn’t dulled her features. If anything, she looks more self-assured, like someone who’s grown into her own skin.
“Yeah, it’s me,” she says with a laugh, tucking a stray curl behind her ear. “I just moved back. I heard you were back too, but I wasn’t sure if…” She trails off, her gaze softening. “It’s really good to see you again.”
Tyler shifts uncomfortably, caught between the weight of his past and the unexpected comfort of her presence. “Yeah… You too. It’s been a while.”
“It has,” she agrees, stepping a little closer. “How’ve you been?”
The question lingers in the air, loaded but without judgment. Tyler hesitates before offering a small shrug. “Taking things one day at a time.”
Jewel nods, her smile never faltering. “Well, if you’re ever up for catching up properly, let me know. It’s been way too long.” She digs into her bag, scribbles her number on the back of her receipt, and hands it to him.
“Don’t be a stranger, okay?” she says before turning back toward the checkout line, leaving Tyler standing there, holding her number like it’s a lifeline he didn’t know he needed.
This moment deepens the tension Tyler feels, caught between his desire to reconnect with Jewel and the fear of confronting his past. His mom’s excitement contrasts with his internal conflict, adding another layer of complexity to their reunion.
As Tyler heads toward the living room, his mom’s words hang in the air like an unspoken promise. “Maybe you can stop by and say hi sometime,” she said, but it feels more like an expectation than a suggestion.
He sits down on the couch, his mind racing. The idea of Jewel coming back into his life, knowing everything he’s been through, feels like too much right now. His mom clearly hasn’t made the connection between his past and the present—her innocence in the matter only makes the weight on Tyler's chest heavier.
He stares at the TV, the sound of it barely registering. He’s replaying his conversation with Jewel over and over in his mind. He can’t help but wonder if she’d even look at him the same way if she knew the truth. If she knew about his time in jail. About what happened.
Not yet, he thinks. Not now.
For a moment, Tyler just wants to be normal—just a guy trying to pick up where he left off before everything fell apart. The reality of telling his mom feels like a storm on the horizon that he’s not ready to face. Not when he’s still trying to piece himself back together.
He sighs and looks down at the old sneakers he’s wearing—ones he’s had since high school. Something small and familiar, but still a symbol of the life that feels so far away.
“I’ll talk to her. I just… need a little time,” he mutters under his breath, though he’s not sure who he’s trying to convince.
This moment is significant because it shows Tyler’s internal battle—he’s not ready to share the full truth, and the weight of that secret is something he’s not willing to deal with yet. The idea of reconnecting with Jewel could be his first real shot at normalcy, but he’s stuck between wanting to hold on to that hope and being terrified of the consequences of his past being exposed.
The week drags on in a blur, but Tyler can’t shake the thought of Jewel. Even though he’s been keeping himself busy—helping around the house, running errands—his mind keeps drifting back to that moment in the store.
Then, out of nowhere, his mom hands him a container wrapped in foil. “This is for Jewel,” she says, her tone casual. “I thought she might appreciate it. I know how busy moving can be. You don’t mind dropping it off, do you?”
Tyler looks at the food—his mom’s homemade casserole, the kind that always seemed to make everything feel like it would be okay. She hands him the container with a smile, expecting him to do this simple favor without a second thought.
“Yeah, sure,” Tyler answers, trying to mask the knot that’s tightening in his stomach. The last thing he wants right now is to face Jewel, not like this. He’s barely figured out how to face himself, let alone deal with his past.
When he pulls up to her house, it’s a nice place—modest but cozy, like something that belongs to someone who values peace and simplicity. He hesitates before getting out of the car, but finally, he grabs the container, walks up to the door, and knocks.
The door opens, and Jewel stands there, dressed in a hoodie and jeans, looking casual, almost like she’s in hiding. She’s different than the confident, outgoing Jewel he remembered. This time, she doesn’t seem eager to be noticed, her smile reserved but warm.
“Tyler,” she says, surprised but not uncomfortable. “Hey.”
“I, uh… my mom sent some food for you. She thought you might need it with the move and everything,” he says, offering the container, his voice awkward.
Jewel takes the food, glancing at him for a moment, then back at the casserole. There’s a softness to her that catches Tyler off guard. She doesn’t seem like the same girl who once wore her heart on her sleeve.
“Tell your mom thank you,” she says, stepping back a bit. “I really appreciate it.”
Tyler stands there for a moment, unsure of what to say next. He wants to stay, but the distance between them feels... thick. It’s like she’s pulling away, or maybe it’s him. There’s a weight to the air—something unspoken but heavy, like they both know they’re standing on the edge of something, but neither knows how to jump in.
“You… doing okay?” he asks, his voice quieter now, almost like he’s afraid of breaking the fragile silence between them.
Jewel looks up at him, her expression unreadable for a second before she nods slowly. “Yeah. Just... taking things slow, you know?” She glances down at the food. “I’ve had a lot on my plate.”
Tyler nods, feeling the familiar tug in his chest—the pull of something left unresolved. The old crush he’d known about is still there, buried under the weight of everything that’s happened, but now it feels different. Something more, something deeper. But it’s like they’re both waiting for the other to make a move, and neither one is ready.
“Alright,” Tyler says, his voice tight. “Well, I’ll, uh… let you get back to it. Take care of yourself, Jewel.”
She smiles, but it’s more of a gentle curve of her lips than the bright grin he remembered. “You too, Ty. Really.”
As he walks back to his car, a sense of confusion settles in. Jewel isn’t trying to be seen this time, and Tyler can’t tell if it’s because she’s changed or because she’s hiding something. What’s different now? Why does she feel like she’s drifting away when everything in him is telling him to reach out?
Tyler’s hand rests on the door handle of his car, but as he hears Jewel’s words, something in his chest tightens. He freezes, then slowly turns back around. She’s standing in the doorway, the casserole still clutched in her hands, her gaze fixed on him as though she’s made up her mind about something.
“I always liked you, Ty,” she says abruptly, her voice firm but laced with vulnerability. There’s no hesitation, no playful teasing, just raw honesty.
The words hang in the air between them like a weight, and for a long moment, Tyler just stands there, caught off guard. He’s never been great with feelings, especially when it comes to her. Not after everything—everything he’s done, everything that’s happened.
Jewel shifts slightly, the silence stretching thin, as if waiting for him to say something—anything.
Tyler blinks, his thoughts racing. He knew about the crush she had on him back in the day, but hearing her say it so plainly, in this quiet moment... it hits differently now. His stomach churns, a mix of old emotions surfacing, the memories of when things were simpler.
“I… I didn’t know,” he mutters, almost to himself, though it’s meant for her. He takes a step back toward her, unsure if he wants to close the distance or run away from it. His chest feels tight, and his mouth is dry. “I never really figured it out. I thought…”
Jewel tilts her head, a soft smile tugging at her lips, though it doesn’t quite reach her eyes. “I know. I was always the ‘girl next door,’ right? The one you never really saw. But I did. I always liked you, Ty.”
Her words cut through him like a sudden gust of wind, unexpected and sharp. Tyler’s mind flashes back to all the times he’d seen Jewel in the past—her laughter, the way she’d always been there, the way she never made a big deal of her feelings. He never took them seriously. He never saw her as someone who might actually want something more with him, not when his world was so wrapped up in his own mess.
“I… I wasn’t in a place to really see that,” he admits, his voice barely a whisper. The weight of the past is suddenly crashing down on him, and the guilt of never paying attention to her feelings hits him harder than he expected.
Jewel shifts her stance, her fingers tightening around the casserole dish as if it’s grounding her. “I get it. I do. But that’s not why I’m saying it now.” Her voice softens, the vulnerability in her tone unmistakable. “I’m not asking for anything, Ty. I just thought you should know. I think... maybe it’s something you should know.”
Tyler’s chest tightens, a knot forming in his throat. The words feel like a confession, not just from Jewel but from him as well. He’s been carrying his own feelings for her for years, hidden away under layers of guilt and regret. Seeing her now, in this new light, stirs something deep inside him. But he’s not ready. He’s not ready to face what that might mean.
“I’m not who I was, Jewel,” he says quietly, the weight of his past slipping into his words. “I’ve done things… things I’m not proud of. And I don’t think you want to be anywhere near that.”
Jewel holds his gaze, steady and calm. “Ty, I’ve seen a lot of people I care about mess up. I know what happens when you make mistakes. But it doesn’t mean you’re not worth giving another chance, or that you don’t deserve to have a future.”
For a long time, Tyler doesn’t say anything. He stands there, processing her words, the heaviness of everything he’s been carrying weighing on him. He wants to reach out, to say the things that are on the tip of his tongue, but there’s still so much he’s not ready to admit to himself, let alone to her.
Jewel gives him a small, understanding smile. “I’ll leave you to think about it,” she says softly. “But whenever you’re ready… I’m here, Ty. No pressure.”
With that, she turns and steps back inside, closing the door softly behind her.
Tyler stands there, alone on the porch, the cool evening air brushing against his skin. Jewel’s words echo in his mind, and for the first time since he’s come home, he feels something stirring inside him—hope, maybe, but also fear. Fear of not being worthy of a second chance, fear of facing the parts of himself he’s been avoiding.
Tyler stands frozen on the porch for a moment, his mind racing with a thousand thoughts. Jewel’s words land softly, but they hit him with the weight of someone who’s not asking for grand gestures or promises. She’s not expecting him to be someone he’s not—she just wants to be there for him, even if the journey is slow and uncertain.
“Right now,” Jewel continues, her voice steady, her gaze unwavering, “Let’s just focus on rebuilding us.”
The simplicity of the statement cuts through the tension between them, leaving Tyler standing there, unsure of how to respond, but also strangely relieved. It feels like a lifeline—like maybe there’s room for him to breathe again, and maybe this time, it won’t all come crashing down.
“Rebuilding us?” he asks quietly, almost as if the words are foreign, as if the idea of something so simple is all he’s ever wanted but never knew how to ask for.
Jewel nods, her gaze softening. “Yeah. I don’t need you to have all the answers, Ty. I don’t need you to be perfect. I just need you to be real.”
Her honesty feels like a balm to his worn-out soul. It’s clear she’s not interested in rushing things, or forcing him into a box of who he should be. She just wants him to take his time, and for that, Tyler feels a little bit of the weight on his chest lift.
“I… I don’t know how to do that,” Tyler admits, his voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t even know where to start.”
Jewel gives a small, encouraging smile. “It’s okay. Neither do I. We don’t have to figure it all out right now. We’ll take it slow. We can focus on just… being here for each other. That’s a good place to start.”
Tyler’s heart beats a little faster as he looks at her. There’s no expectation in her eyes, no rush, just a quiet understanding. And for the first time in a long time, Tyler wonders if he’s actually capable of rebuilding—of truly being someone worth standing beside.
For a long moment, they just stand there, neither one saying anything more. It’s enough, for now. The air feels different, the weight of the past less oppressive, and Tyler begins to realize that maybe, just maybe, he’s not as lost as he thought he was. Maybe he doesn’t need to have all the answers. Maybe it’s enough to simply take the first step forward.
“Alright,” he finally says, his voice a little more confident. “One step at a time. No pressure.”
Jewel nods. “Exactly. One step at a time.”
And for the first time, Tyler believes it’s possible. Maybe not everything can be fixed overnight, but maybe, with Jewel by his side—slowly, steadily—they can rebuild what’s been broken.
As he turns to leave, heading back to his car, he feels a shift inside him. The walls that have kept him distant, guarded, seem a little less impenetrable now. Maybe he’s not as alone as he thought.
Maybe rebuilding—both himself and the connection with Jewel—wasn’t as impossible as he believed.
This is the turning point for Tyler. Jewel’s offer to rebuild without rushing and without expectations is exactly what he needs, and it might be the moment he starts to trust in himself again. This gentle approach—allowing space for mistakes and growth—creates a foundation for their relationship to flourish, however that may look.

————
Your elegant black Honda arrived at your home's driveway, and you let out a sigh. You glanced over the charming single-story brown-painted house, which featured seven windows. Lush green hedges trim the house corners, neatly trimmed and short. Birds sit at the tips of the branches, singing a lovely tune.
“Another day is over, thank God,” you mumbled lowly, sighing in relief.
Grabbing your keys and briefcase from the passenger seat, you pulled the door handle and stepped with a groan of exhaustion.
On your first day back from work after maternity leave, it felt like chaos with your difficult boss breathing down your neck and colleagues inquiring about your baby, Terry, and your pregnancy, draining your energy.
You spotted your mom’s car parked in the driveway, rolling your eyes. Not in the mood to talk to her about anything but you needed someone watch the baby. You had a hard time adjusting with work, the baby, and your mom stressing you out, etc. It was so overwhelming. You couldn’t wait until your husband got home.
The last time you talked to your mom was an argument about Terry, the marriage and having a baby.
Your mom wasn't too happy about finding out about your marriage and baby through your cousin Raelynn at a family reunion who found through Instagram. You blocked her and every family member that day.
She believed she had the right to question your choice to marry a former Marine, and you gazed at her with a gentle look.
This originates from your mother's negative experience with your father, a former Marine suffering from intense PTSD, who would have nightmares at night. Screaming.
It left your mom crying, praying to God that the pain would away, but it wouldn't go away. Your father was tired of the nightmares, tired of the pain.
Until one night, your dad stood alone in the backyard with his gun in his hand, he wanted the pain, and the violent memories to end. Tears rolled down his face, He aimed the gun at his end and a gunshot aired out.
After that, you and your mom did your best to keep going, she was sad about your father but never mentioned him again, she would usually say that she was finally free of it. The two of you didn’t struggle but
Terry had endured so much, from the loss of his cousin Mike after he was stabbed in jail and battling the corrupt law enforcement in Shelby Springs.
But you made it clear that Terry was different, he was quiet and reserved about being a great dad.
Mentally it took a toll on him, after the court battle and eventually winning it, it wasn't enough to bring his cousin back to Earth.
If Terry could conquer heaven’s angels and talk to God Himself, asking The Creator to bring him back. He would do that in a heartbeat.
Hell, Terry would do the same with Satan and those rotten demons, if he had the power or believed in the afterlife.
But when Terry met you at a black-owned coffee shop, for him everything changed. He had a family with you, a daughter. He wished Mike could meet the little one.
You shook your head, trying to dismiss the thoughts swirling in your mind as you stepped inside.
You opened the door and were greeted by your mom, and you responded to her.
As you made your way through the hallways into the bedroom, you tossed your briefcase onto your desk, grabbed a pen, and noted down important dates and names related to your work as an assistant in a cubicle.
Once you flopped on the bed. You heard your baby cry.
Groaning lowly, pouting your lips. You quickly raised up from the bed and hurried into the room where your mom was holding the baby in her arms. “Hello dear, how are you?,” she replied in a annoyed tone.
“I’m fine, You’re holding her incorrectly,” you shot back, flanking her immediately.
Raven’s bedroom was quite spacious, the four walls painted in chocolate brown, and white macaron cream, an armchair in the corner of the room, and her square-shaped baby bed was filled with three stuffed plushies of a star, swan and a teddy bear with smiling faces, thin blankets rested atop.
“Hello there, my beautiful girl, how are you?” You said, in a warm tone, gently taking your baby from her arms.
“Nice to see you too,” your mom shot back, her eyes softened a bit.
You and Terry were married along with your baby girl, Raven, her hazel green eyes and brown skin, her tiny curls framed her face, She was so beautiful.
Your mom mean-mugged you, arms crossed. “I raised you, I know how to hold a baby, and why the hell would you name your child Raven anyway?”
Anger boiled within you, “It’s our baby, Mom, why do you think we had a private wedding, private pregnancy, private proposal, we wanted it to be just us,” you explained to her, narrowing your gaze at her.
You gained the baby weight, your tittes got bigger and tried to work out with Terry since he was looking mighty delectable lately, he reminded that it was progress, not perfection. It didn't help that random women over the internet were lusting over your man.
But he’s all yours now, he was an amazing husband to you, a great father to the baby.
You cradled Raven close, her soft whimpers fading as you rocked her gently. In that moment, everything felt right, but the tension in the room with your mother was palpable.
"Mom, I appreciate your help, but you need to respect our choices," you said firmly, your voice steady despite the frustration bubbling beneath the surface.
“Respect? You think marrying that man and having a child without telling me is respect?” she countered, her tone sharper than a knife's edge.
The baby began crying again, and you sighed. “See, you don't know what you're doing,”
You took a deep breath, fighting the urge to snap back. Instead, you focused on Raven's tiny fingers curling around yours. “He loves me, and he loves Raven. Isn’t that what matters?”
“Mhm, love this, love that,” she shot back, but the fire in her eyes dimmed just a little as she glanced at her granddaughter.
You backed away from your mom and sat down on the armchair, “Just leave me alone, I'm trying to comfort my child,” you pushed back, your tone laced with frustration.
Just then, the front door creaked open and closed shut, and there was Aaron, a breath of fresh air. Your dark brown skin shone underneath the light, your hair styled in black box braids, pulled back in a ponytail.
His tall frame filled the doorway, and you could see the weariness etched on his handsome face. His cornrows perfectly showing, his light skin shined under the light.
“Hey, my love, I'm home,” he called out, his voice wrapping around his words like a warm blanket. He pecked your forehead and your lips sweetly.
His eyes flicked toward the baby who smiled at Terry, once he picked up the baby in his arms.
Your heart swelled at the sight of him, and you felt the chaos in your mind begin to settle. As he stepped inside, you could see the way he lit up at the sight of you and Raven. “What’s going on in here?”
“Just a little family fight,” you replied, shooting your mother a pointed look.
Terry walked over, those warm eyes scanning the room before landing on you, his expression softening. “You alright, sweetheart?” he asked, concern lacing his voice.
You nodded, but the exhaustion was evident. “Just a bit overwhelmed. My first day back honey, you know?”
You sniffled and wiped your tears, “It is been so overwhelming lately, and i don't think that I can do this Terry, I…” your voice shaky and words stuttered, you got up and ran into the bedroom.
Terry finally put the baby to sleep, settling her in the bed, your mom followed behind the man into the bedroom.
He stepped closer, wrapping an arm around your waist and drawing you into his side. “You’re doing brilliant, babe. The world’s mad right now, but you’re handling it like a queen,” he murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to your temple.
Your mom huffed, crossing her arms again. “You call this handling it? She’s falling apart, Terry,.”
Terry’s gaze flicked to her, a hint of protectiveness in his stance. “And what do you know about it?” he challenged softly, but there was an underlying tension in his tone. “She’s just had a baby. This isn’t easy for any of us.”
You could feel the warmth radiate from Terry, and you leaned into him, feeling the weight of the world lift just a little. “I just wish…” you began, but the words caught in your throat.
You didn’t want to voice your insecurities, not now, not when he was trying to reassure you.
“Wish what, baby?” he prompted gently, his thumb stroking your arm soothingly.
“Nothing,” you finally said, but his eyes searched yours, and you could tell he wasn’t buying it. Your shiny wedding ring glowed brightly with the golden ring on his finger.
“Don’t lie to me, yeah? I know you better than that.” His voice was low, but it was filled with warmth and understanding.
You sighed, feeling the tears prick at the corners of your eyes. “I just feel so lost sometimes, Terry. I don’t know how to balance everything. I want to be a good wife, a good mother, and I feel like I’m failing.”
Tears falling down your face, crying softly. Feeling like the world was falling apart into tiny pieces.
He cupped your face, tilting it up to meet his gaze. “You’re not failing. You’re doing more than enough, and I’m here, every step of the way. We’re in this together, remember?”
His words wrapped around you like a healing balm, and you felt the tension in your chest ease. “I just need you, Terry. I need you to remind me that I’m not alone in this.”
“You could never be alone with me around,” he replied, his voice a low promise. “Let’s get through this together. And if anyone tries to come for you, I’ll be right here to defend you, baby. Always.”
Terry’s eyes flickered toward your mother, “And as for you, get the hell out of our house, now,”
Your mother’s mouth fell open, made an unpleasant noise, left the room and the house, and then slammed the door. You were bursting out in laughter with your husband.
“Now that is how you snap back,” You giggled with covering your mouth.
Watching Terry gently kissed her forehead, and gently settled the baby in her bed, hearing her softly snore peacefully.
The two of you quietly walk out of her bedroom, walking through the hallways and into the spacious bedroom. You grabbed your briefcase and settled it at the corner of the room. “I’m so happy you're home,” you coaxed softly, kissing his face.
As your mother left the room, Terry’s eyes darkened slightly, a playful glint appearing. “Now that we’ve dealt with that shit, how about we focus on something a bit more…intimate?” he suggested, a smirk playing on his lips.
You could feel the heat rising in your cheeks, and the flutter in your stomach ignited. “Intimate, huh?” you teased back, your voice dropping an octave.
“Yeah, baby,” he replied, stepping closer, his breath warm against your skin. “I’ve missed you, Y/N.”
“Missed me?” you echoed, your heart racing as he leaned in, his lips just inches from yours. “What do you mean?”
“You know what I mean, baby”
He leaned in closely and kissed you tenderly, he unbuttoned your work clothes, while you helped him slide off his grey tee shirt that was drenched in sweat, his earthy yet cinnamon cologne still on him.
His full lips enveloped your nipple as his other hand kneaded and squeezed the other one; you let out a soft whimper when his fingers grazed the stretch marks on your brown skin. The curve of your ass smacked by his hand. Was this man trying to get you pregnant again? He couldn't be devious, right?
“T-Terryyy..” you whimpered softly in his ear. Your nipples were still sensitive after breastfeeding Raven last night, he fingered your pussy slowly and pulled out. “Pleaseee..”
His hands spread your legs wide apart for him, those dreamy ocean eyes of his focused on your wet pussy like he wanted to sear the image in his brain just like those damn acronyms from his service of the Marine Corps, he wished to replace each letter of it with the sound of you, taste of you, your pretty face and your back arching. “My beautiful wife,” he said with a smile, he groaned lowly, His dick jumped and twitched at the thought, he needed you so badly.
You had a small request in your mind, you had to get it out immediately. “Terry, can you be a little rougher this time?” you asked with a lip pout.
He offered a reassuring nod, a playful smirk on his face as he positioned his dick at your entrance, gently pressing the tip in. "You're already so wet for me; I love you," he said in a deep voice, prompting you to moan uncontrollably, your gaze locked on his. "I-I love you too, shit!" you exclaimed.
He leaned in to kiss the tattoo on your shoulder, then pressed his lips against yours twice more. As he pushed your legs back, he dove his dick deeper into you. "Just like that; you take me so perfectly," he continued, his eyes drawn to the mess pooling beneath you, with breast milk trickling down his chiseled abdomen. Breaking the kiss, you let out another moan as he gradually filled you, thrusting deeper with each movement. He groaned in response, the soft squelching sound resonating throughout the bedroom.
“Shhh, you should be ashamed of yourself for the mess you made on Daddy’s dick, that pussy sucks me right back in,” Terry groaned out feeling your walls latching around and pulling him in once he began to move inside you, he felt your pussy pulsate onto him, that little heartbeat kept him fucking you deeply, “So fuckin’ tight, that’s my girl..” he praised deeply.
Right, your baby was still sleeping peacefully, you couldn't risk that yet you were on the verge of giving her another sibling right now, you kissed him sloppily again, while he kissed you back passionately.
“Apologize,” He demanded with that deep voice of his, his fingers pinched your sensitive nipples again and milk dripped from them. Your legs shaking at an overwhelming sensation.
Terry gives you long deep strokes while sucking on your nipple torturously, “I-I’m sorry Daddy, I-I can't help it…you’re j-just s-so big,” you babbled with a raspy moan, tears burned through your eyes, hearing him slurp and swallow your milk as his hips swiveling, wetting his dick up. Was this man trying to fuck and suck the life out of you? He was!
Thankfully, your baby was sound asleep in the room opposite yours, and you couldn't afford to disturb her after Terry had JUST gotten her to sleep. However, Terry had incredible stamina; thankfully, your evening workouts with him prepared you, or you would have been exhausted from this.
You managed to match him in the bedroom and were almost on the verge of giving her another sibling; your hand flew to your mouth and your eyes rolled back as he increased his speed. “I love it when this dick is inside me, fill me up so good babyy..” You moaned wildly, biting your lip, rolling your hips with him.
Terry’s hushed grunts and groans were deep and slightly raspy, biting down on his sexy lips, he watched your pussy make his dick disappear as he went in and out. “Mhmm, Such a needy little thing for this dick, aren't you?" he trailed off, smirking.
A sharp gasp for air escaped you, from the feeling of his thighs rubbing against yours, “Yesss,” the brief tap of his balls hitting your clit made you scream as if you were dying, pelvis meeting at your ass and breast milk poured out after jagged sloppy thrusts, “ it was charged with heat as Terry picked up his pace, his thrusts growing more fervent. “Oh..my..fuck!” you muffled your moan, eyes rolling back, nails digging into his back.
Terry’s hand rubbed your stomach in circles, thinking of filling you up with his warm cum, making you pregnant again but he couldn't do that. You were already stressed out with everything that was going on, but the way you called out to him and your pussy gripped him tight, made him want to give you a boy. Nah, it wouldn't be right. Bad Terry, be good.
Wait, the bed was creaking under both of you, your hand tapped his neck three times, that was the sign to stop with your consent and Terry stopped immediately, breaking his thoughts, His head lifted to look at you with genuine concern, “The bed is too loud, it might wake up Raven,” you whispered to him.
With that, his hands slid to your thighs, holding them firmly as Terry swiftly hoisted you up in a front-facing piggyback, your arms encircling his neck. feeling his tip kiss your cervix repeatedly. “Terry, fuck, the noises..” you mumbled out, referring to the wet noises of his dick being swallowed up by your pussy. He loved every bit of this, pleasure flowed through both of you.
Terry chuckled darkly, gazing into your pleasure-filled teary eyes, relishing in them falling down on your face, your back arched in the air as if on cue. “You know we have no control over this baby, you hear that shit?” Terry said in a deeper tone, your nipples rubbed onto his, and milk spilled down his chiseled chest and onto his dick. His tongue gliding on your nipple again while gazing at you lovingly.
You were quickly climbing that familiar peak, every thrust felt deeper making you go dumb and dizzy, laying your head onto his shoulder, “T-Terry, I'm close, i’m on the pill,” you managed to gasp out, your body trembling beneath him.
“Good, come with me, Y/N, let me feel everything,” he encouraged, his breath warm against your skin as he leaned down to capture your lips sloppy again. “Fuck me till we both can't move,” you requested, “Your wish is my command,” he said, The kisses were passionate, and nasty with spit chains connecting and reconnecting between his plump lips and yours, he felt so damn good, you wanted to feel him.
His hips stuttered and twitched, and Terry’s merciless thrusts turned sporadic into you, your screams became loud and he moaned deeply, “You sound sexy Terry..” you groaned out, loving his raspy moans, you felt your body coil tightly before the dam broke.
You cried out his name, the sound echoing in the room as you came undone around him. Your walls squeezed him tightly, essence spilled onto his thick dick, and the sensation pushed him over the edge as well. Wet noises and sloppy kissing were halted and remained silent.
Terry spilled his warm jets of cum inside of you, filling you up while your essence poured out your pussy, mixing with his cum, your breast milk dripped onto the floor, creating pools in between you. Your bodies shaking weakly together and flinch against each other after every move, “W-we really came together baby..” you babbled lazily.
After a moment of blissful silence, you both melted against each other, hearts racing and panting. You could still hear the faint sounds of Raven’s peaceful breathing from across the hall, and he gently laid you on your back on the bed, he pulled out of you, seeing his cum spill out of your pussy.
Terry brushed a few loose strands of braids from your face, his expression softening. “You okay?” he asked, concern flickering in his eyes as he studied you.
“More than okay,” you replied, a smile breaking through the remnants of your exhaustion. “I needed that.”
“Now, let’s get cleaned up before the baby wakes up,” he said, his tone teasing as he helped you off the bed. Terry carried you into the bathroom, he cleaned up the mess in the bedroom and prepared a hot bath for both of you.
Terry got into the foamy warm spacious huge bath with you, sitting across from you while your back lay against the back pillow on the white marble tile, the warm water enveloped you both. Its soothing touch eases the ache in your body, thighs, pussy, everywhere.
You leaned back, letting out a contented sigh as you watched Terry relax across from you. His strong arms rested on the edge of the tub, the water and lights above glistening on his skin.
“You feeling better baby girl? Just us for a moment,” he said, a playful smile on his gorgeous face.
“Yeah, I am, I missed this, I needed this from Terry,”
Terry’s gaze softened, and he leaned closer, the water sloshing gently around you both, “You know I'll always be here for you, right? No matter how chaotic things get?”
You nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude flow through you. “ I do, I just need to remember that sometimes. It's easy to get lost in everything,”
He reached out, his hand resting against your cheek. “Remember you can't be everything all at once, only yourself. You're doing amazing and Raven? She’s lucky to have you,”
“You know how to make me feel better Terry,” You replied with a warm smile, kissing his lips sweetly before pulling away.
“It’s what I’m here for,” he said with a reassuring tone, his lips pressed onto your forehead tenderly.
Both of you washed yourselves squeaky clean and dried off using the towels, getting dressed in Terry’s tee purple shirt, he slid on his grey sweatpants and got into bed, his wrapped around you protectively, both of you drifting off into a peaceful slumber.

And not him calling reader a punk!!?! Or is it ponk? Like boy bye get the hell up out my face🤣
But oohh i love this banter and tension you’ve created. I wonder who will break it first. It’s probably gon be Kelvin with his impatient but straightforward ass. The coochie Freudian slip with the Cookie Monster shorts was genius.
I can’t wait for part 2. I need me a him like last week😂
MUNCHIES!
Tumblr media
Kelvin Harrison Jr X Reader
Summary: Your neighbor, Kelvin, invites you to the fair. After a night of fun you end up in his apartment.
Warnings: Short, Smut, Humor, Neighbors.
Part One.
Why does having a crush put you in a state of mental hell?
It happens too easily and too often because your crush is across the hall from you.
And his name is Kelvin.
A handsome man with a bright, magnetic smile and a sense of humor. You moved in two months prior to meeting Kelvin. He was the first to greet you, reaching out his hand to shake yours while you were on your way into work.
“I’m Kelvin, welcome to the neighborhood. Don’t be a stranger. I promise I don’t bite. If you need anything like…sugar, spaghetti, you name it, I got it for you!”
You couldn’t help but giggle at him.
Funny thing is, you did end up needing sugar. You were currently making a batch of edible chocolate chip cookies for a friend. You confused the sugar bag for flour and there was no way you were going back out to the market after dealing with all that traffic and road rage. Slipping on your Stitch slippers, you head out into the hall and across to Kelvin’s door.
Raising a fist, you suddenly become aware of how naked you feel. Cookie Monster boy shorts on. A barely there tank top. A chill swept across your chest, causing your nipples to harden. Turning, you shuffle back towards your apartment, but the sound of a door knob twisting caught your ear from behind.
“I’ll catch you when you get back from your trip, Kel!”
“Got a lot of work to do within the next month with press and all—”
Silence. You do a slow and dramatic turn, meeting the stunned faces of Kelvin and a friend of his you didn’t recognize. Kelvin had a lot of friends. It was hard to keep up with names and faces. Kelvin stood within his entryway with a velour, emerald green durag over his head, a white tank top, and black ball shorts. The friend, a tall, lanky black boy sporting a grey hoodie and matching joggers didn’t hold back as his eyes swept over your frame.
“Y/N? Girl, where you think you goin’ dressed like that?” Kelvin questioned with a fold of his arms and an arched brow. The corner of his beautiful lips twitched, fighting the urge to laugh.
“So this Y/N? Dayum—”
Kelvin slapped his friend against the shoulder. They both share a look, communicating with their eyes. Y/N twisted her lips before a smile broke out across her pretty face. So…Kelvin talked about you to his friends?
Interesting. Definitely noted.
“My bad, love, I’m Roy. Nice to meet you.”
Roy held out his hand in greeting. You shake his hand before quickly releasing it. Your eyes linger on Kelvin’s face as the awkward silence stretched on. Roy cleared his throat, causing you to blink away from Kelvin’s hypnotic brown orbs.
“Nice to finally meet you. Be safe, bro.”
They bumped fists and Roy turned to leave.
“You didn’t answer my question, punk.”
You’d finally found your voice. You shove a foot towards Kelvin’s direction and he swatted it away.
“I ain’t no punk. And I was coming over to ask for some sugar. I got an edible order to make.” You finally reply.
Kelvin leaned against his doorway with a smirk and low eyes, “And none for me? What type of shit…”
“You got thirty dollars?” You quipped.
“I do. How fast can you make me some fruity pebbles?”
“As fast as that money is in my hand, Kelvin. Now, come on! I need sugar!”
You stomp in place like a spoiled brat. Kelvin’s eyes did a quick sweep of your shapely thighs and the peek of midriff that teased him.
“Take a picture! It’ll last longer!”
Kelvin gave you a skeptical look, “You wanted me to see you like this, huh? You ain’t slick.”
Kelvin took a few steps back, holding his apartment door open for you to enter. You give him a look and he inclined his head for you to come in. You’d never been inside of his apartment. He’d been in yours a few times to help you bring groceries in. As you walk forward, the smell of sativa titillated your nose. With a hint of hazelnut cream.
“Brown or white?”
You focus on his back. The dip in his back in particular. You could see muscle definition in his arms and upper back. You knew he’d been going harder in the gym with his personal trainer lately from his ig stories. Preparing for a role possibly. Whatever the case, you were pleased.
Huh?” You finally reply.
Kelvin looked over his shoulder at you with elevated brows.
“Brown or white sugar?”
“White.”
Kelvin snorted a laugh, “And here I thought I daydream too much.”
Kelvin opened his walk–in pantry. He reappeared two seconds later with a big storage container filled with sugar. He found a zip–lock and filled it generously with enough sugar to last you some time.
“You didn’t need to give me that much, Kel,” you accept the bag, holding it against your chest to conceal your nipples.
“I’m just tryna look out for you, girl. Plus, I want my fruity pebbles and my coochie—I mean cookies!”
Kelvin threw a hand over his mouth and you both burst into a fit of laughter. Kelvin doubled over with a hand against his stomach and you flew your body over his kitchen counter. Tears ran down your cheeks, and Kelvin’s boisterous smile and open mouth laugh didn’t help to contain your cackling.
“I had too much weed! Oh shit! Whew!” Kelvin used his thumb to swipe away tears, “Coochie sound good though I ain’t gon lie to you!”
“You make me sick! I’m leaving!”
You turn to leave but Kelvin grabbed you by the waist. You look back at him and couldn’t help but to laugh again. His touch against your skin sent signals to your nerves and your body did a jolt that you couldn’t control. He smelled amazing and his glassy skin looked delectable. Beyond his lashes you could tell from the whites of his eyes that he’d smoked some good shit.
“Who said you could leave me alone? Remember what I said happened the last time I smoked silver haze?” Kelvin whispered against your ear.
“I don’t remember nor do I give a fuck!”
You screech when Kelvin tried to tickle you. Your squirming became too much so he released you.
“I got a couple blunts left if you wanna chill with me?”
Kelvin tucked his chin and wagged his brows at you. You narrow your eyes at him.
“I have to get this order finished. If you want, come help me out and we can smoke.”
Kelvin tapped his chin in thought. Too long for your patience.
“It’s either a yes or a no, Kelvin!” You shout with a smile.
“Aight, I’ll come over. Let me grab my chips first.”
Kelvin opened his pantry again and you waited for him while walked back towards the door. Your curious eyes scanned his eclectically stylish apartment until your eyes came upon a painting.
Tumblr media
“Honey Dripping. That’s the name of it.”
You jump slightly from being startled. Kelvin was amused with your response, eyes twinkling with mischief. You turn your attention back to the painting.
“Why this one in particular?” You question.
“It’s beautiful. It shows appreciation to the female anatomy. And I love coochie…or did you forget the slip of my tongue back in the kitchen?”
The playful edge to his voice sparked a horniness within you. Kelvin took his place next to you while munching on Lay’s chips. He chewed and admired the painting with wondrous enthusiasm.
“Anyway, you ready to head out? Them Cookie Monster shorts had enough fun for one night, ma.”
You shove him jokingly before leading the way out of his apartment. Kelvin grabbed his keys and slipped on some crocs along the way. Still, the painting and his words remained on your mind.
——
You allow Kelvin to add the chocolate chips before mixing the thick batter. The sound of Tyler The Creator playing from your Bluetooth had the two of you grooving. Kelvin cut some parchment to line the cookie sheet while you took a break to puff on a blunt. French inhaling the smoke, you pass it to Kelvin who accepted the blunt between his thumb and pointer finger, toting it before expertly blowing the smoke away from you.
You open the oven and Kelvin slipped the tray inside.
“See what team work can do?” Kelvin brushed his hands.
“Maybe asking you for sugar was the right thing to do after all.”
You wink at him while gathering your dishes to clean. Kelvin perched himself next to you with a towel to dry.
“Got any plans tomorrow?” Kelvin asked after placing a clean mixing bowl in the dish rack.
“No. Why?” You glance at him with bright eyes.
“There’s a fair…heard about it?”
“I did. Was gonna buy two tickets but that didn’t work out.”
Kelvin pouted his bottom lip with curiosity, “What happened?”
“…long story,” you huffed, “Shortened version? This dude I met on Hinge, found out he was seeing my friend.”
“OUCH. That’s fucked up,” Kelvin accepted a whisk, “Happy you dodged that bullet and here I am to save the day!”
You laugh, “Mr. Harrison, are you asking me on a date?”
You jutted your hip out and gave Kelvin a flirty look with a little smile. He licked his lips before chuckling. His eyes danced across your face and that look was doing things to you.
“I guess I am, huh?” Kelvin nibbled on his bottom lip, “Well? Can I take you to the fair, Y/N?”
You played it cool by giving him a nod in acceptance and a coy smile. On the inside, you were doing flips and cheers. After months of the back and forth, he made the first move. As he should. You’d dropped hints plenty of times. This didn’t mean anything yet. It could be a simple friend date. A date with Kelvin of any kind was enough for you.
“Then it’s a date. I’ll pick you up at three?”
“Three is good.”
You both finish up and head to your living room to smoke and watch a little TV. Kelvin made himself comfortable on the floor while you laid on your side on the sofa. Head propped up against your arm, you put on a random Marvel movie. Kelvin brought his knees up and draped his arms over it. You tap his shoulder with your acrylic french tip and he cut his eyes at you before accepting the blunt to keep the rotation flowing.
“You like roller coasters?” Kelvin asked.
“I do.”
“How about drop towers?”
“Nah,” you take the blunt, “Had a bad experience on one before.”
“You got stuck?” Kelvin turned his body fully, giving you a shocked look with his mouth hanging open.
“I did! Happened when I was eleven. Six flags. The ride started up out of nowhere and that drop almost made me see heaven. No more.”
Kelvin threw his head back and laughed. The fabric of his durag stroked your knee and it caused goosebumps to appear on your arms.
“I hate anything that spins. Shit makes me sick.” Kelvin revealed with a look of disgust.
“Let me guess, made you vomit?”
“Yeah! I hate feeling dizzy. That over and over again spinning drives me nuts!”
Bet, remind me to put you on the cyclone for torture when you piss me off.” You replied jokingly.
Kelvin sat up on his knees to face you.
“That’s if you can even force me to do it. Look at all this,” Kelvin flexed, showing off muscles and lifted his shirt to give you a glance at his abs, “Too strong!”
“Kelvin, we’re the same height. And last time I checked, your friend Aaron got you beat in that department—HEY!”
Kelvin had snatched your slippers off and started tickling your feet. You writhed on the sofa, kicking a squealing, trying to fight him off.
“OKAY! okayokayokay! I’m sorry!” You were blinded by tears and your laughter couldn’t be contained, “KELVIN! YOU WIN! OKAY!”
“That’s not what I want to hear, Y/N.”
Kelvin grabbed you by the ankles, your body tumbling to the throw rug. Kelvin climbed over you to hold your wrists above your head. You move your head to get your braids from your eyes and focus on Kelvin’s face. Your chest rose and fell with deep breaths and he blinked down at you with a condescending smile.
“Where’s the blunt?!”
“On the tray. Don’t try to deflect. What was that about Aaron?!”
“I was only kidding!” You replied.
“Mhm. Don’t let me find out you’ve been checking him out, punk.”
You liked this side of Kelvin. The way he had you trapped beneath him and the glint in his eyes with that sexy smirk had you a wet mess. You wanted to see how far he’d go.
“Can I share something with you, Kel?”
He tilted his head, gold chain dangling in your face, “Yeah? What’s that.”
“Well,” you look heavenward, “I always wondered what it’ll be like to…have Aaron do arm curls while using me as weights—STOP!”
“Keep it up! I can do this all night!” Kelvin said between laughter.
The timer beeped on the oven, alerting you that the cookies were ready. Kelvin sucked his teeth before releasing you. He helped you up from the floor, but suddenly he lifted you up and tossed you over his shoulder. You wiggle your feet while he carried you towards the kitchen.
“Put me down before you drop me!”
Kelvin sat you down on the counter and grabbed the oven mitts. He took the cookies out and sat them on top of the stove. The smell of the freshly baked treat wafted your nose and made your mouth water.
“Why must you act up, Y/N? See, I would punish you…but you ain’t ready for that.”
You fold your leg over the other and tilt your head.
“What exactly is a punishment from Mr. Harrison entail?”
“You ain’t ready for that, Y/N.”
Kelvin removed the mitts.
“I’m a head out. I gotta get up early to train and take care of some other shit before I come scoop you for the fair…”
You were too late at hiding your disappointment. Kelvin worried his brows and pouted his lip.
“Awww I’ll miss your annoying ass too.” Kelvin walked up to you and gave you a kiss to the cheek, “Get some sleep. I want you energized for the fair tomorrow. We got a lot of shenanigans to get into, ma!”
Kelvin snatched up his keys and slipped on his crocs. You were still stuck on the kiss that tingled your cheek. His lips were indeed soft like a Tempur-pedic mattress. Probably tasted good to. His mouth had to taste good.
“Come walk me to the door.”
You hop down from the counter and follow Kelvin. He opened the door, pausing with his head against it and giving you a dreamy look that had you giggling.
“See you tomorrow, Y/N. Take your ass to bed.” Kelvin grabbed your hand and kissed it like a gentleman.
“Dream about me like I know you will.”
He licked his lips slowly, hazy eyes falling to your lips.
“I just might.”

“We should roleplay.”
“DO WHAT?” Kelvin yelled, sitting up from his spot on the bed.
“Roleplay.” you shrugged cause what is his deal? This is most absolutely the tamest thing you’ve said today.
“Aaron, baby, back me up here,” he said.
Aaron put down his book, “I don’t know. It could be fun. What did you have in mind?”
“I was thinking that two of us pretend that we don’t know the other person and have a whole “We saw you from across the bar” moment.”
“Okay, but I have to be the other person,” Kelvin said.
Aaron looked at him, “And why do you have to? Why can’t it be me?”
“Because not only am I the better actor, but you two are hot as fuck together and it would be perfect.”
Aaron opened his mouth to speak but you spoke first, “Wait, it can be you two! If last night is any proof, it’s that y’all are everybody’s dream!”
“Okay, first off, we’re both very talented thank you and I like our love’s idea.”
Kelvin rolled his eyes, “You always take her side.”
“Well, of course I do. She’s all throat and you’re… a little too toothy.”
You busted out laughing and fell off the bed doing so.
Kelvin’s eyes widened and he practically pounced on Aaron, “I’m, like, new to the whole sucking dick thing?? You can’t hold that against me! And you’re like fucking massive!” He put a hand over his chest, “What the hell am I, a beginner, actually supposed to do with a thing like that?
Aaron looked up at him, “We can always train you.”
You got up from the floor, “Yeah, babe, we could. It’ll be fun.”
“We could train you when we do the roleplay thing. You can be the unsuspecting guy at the bar.”
Kelvin sat up on his lap and patted his chest, “Best idea you’ve had all day, baby.”
You smiled and giggled, “Great! We’ll do it tonight. I have so much to prepare for.” you rushed off to the closet.
“Is she serious?” Kelvin said.
“AS A HEART ATTACK!”
Aaron and Kelvin laughed at your ability to be dramatic, but they knew they’d have to “pop out and show niggas”, to quote you quoting Kendrick Lamar. Tonight is gonna be a movie.

𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - Kelvin Harrison Jr. x Black!OC & Damson Idris x Black!OC
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 - In which past lovers turned fling and a set best friends, that connection seems deeper than platonic, have to sit through a Prada fashion show and it’s after party all while keeping face in front of the waiting cameras, when all they can contemplate is how they’ll spend the rest of their time in Milan.
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - flirting, suggestive conversation, roleplay(?), ex’s to flings, some descriptions, jealousy, best friends that lowkey want each other.
𝐉𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐞’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 - UNEDITED, sorry for any spelling errors and grammar mistakes. I did this because I’m in a Damson Idris type of mindset and there’s literally nothing for him, he’s nonexistent here. Then I remembered when I saw Kelvin at the Prada show, I was like “Both my men in one room and they didn’t even interact.” So I made this. This could’ve went the throuple route, and I still might do that, but this was my first reaction.
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 - 5,218+
Tumblr media
The energy in the air was palpable and electric, a mix of flashing cameras as high-profile guests arrived, fans screams along with photographers demands filled the air, and the ever-present hum of fashion’s elite mingling before the show began.
Evette, dressed in mix of a Prada items, her clam look exuded confidence, but beneath the surface, she was still adjusting to this new chapter of her life. She exhaled slowly, grounding herself as she stepped onto the carpet.
The attention was still something she was adjusting to—Mufasa: The Lion King had catapulted her career into a different stratosphere and put her further into the public eye, and while she had always been comfortable in front of an audience the constant scrutiny was something she was still learning to navigate.
She posed with effortless grace, her outfit casual but cute nonetheless. She turned slightly, letting the cameras catch her best angles. Questions flew at her—about the film, future roles, even whispers of her personal life—but she handled them with the same cool demeanor that had gotten her this far.
Once inside, the energy shifted, less chaotic but still intense. She let out another sigh, releasing her anxious tension before looking down at the encouraging and hilarious messages from Nala.
I need more known so I can become a Brand Ambassador. This struggling actor shit is played out 🙄
She chuckled, shaking her head softly at the girl. She texted her a quick response before pocketing her phone and looking up. She began walking again as she glanced around, seeing the familiar faces of people she’d seen on telephone or tv screen, and others she hadn’t a clue of.
And then, right before she could make it to her seat, she saw him.
Kelvin Harrison Jr.
He looked good—annoyingly so. Dressed in a sleek Prada ensemble, the bright green color of his collar making his skin pop. He exuded the kind of ease that only came with confidence. Evette tensed, but only slightly. It’s not like it’s been long since she’d last seen him, and they were…friends now? If you could call what they had going in as friends. . They had long since moved past the initial post-breakup unease, settling into something familiar, easy. But what was it exactly? They weren’t just exes. They weren’t just co-stars. And after everything that had happened between them in the quiet, stolen moments off-camera… fling didn’t feel quite right either. She couldn’t help the feeling that wrapped around her beating heart at the sight of him. Admiring him from afar as he eased his way through the crowds of other celebrities.
Kelvin must have sensed her watching because he glanced up, locking eyes with her. A slow smile spread across his face—one of those knowing ones that made her stomach flip, even after all this time.
“Evette.” Kelvin greeted smoothly, his eyes flickering with something unreadable. His grinned, his dimples poking through his cheeks.
“Kelvin.” She returned softly, smiling at him.
“You look good,” he said, eyes flickering over her outfit, appreciation evident.
She smirked. “You clean up nice yourself. I didn’t know you’d be here.” She said coyly. Kelvin’s brows twitched in confusion, slightly squinting at her. “What? Yes you did.” He said, letting out a small laugh with the twinkle still in his eye.
Evette’s smile dropped as she smacked her lips. “I was trying to do a bit.” She grumbled softly, her bright demeanor dropping. Kelvin just let out a small laugh at her as she stepped closer. He then quirked a brow, looking down at her. “A bit? You mean like role play?” He quipped, his tone lower than before with a smirk showing his pearly whites. Evette scoffed although she couldn’t help the smile that was making its way onto her face. She reached up to give his shoulder a small push. “Really?" She squinted at him. "In public? At a fashion show?" She hissed through clenched teeth, tilting her head close so that there was no chance that their conversation could be heard, even over the chaos of the venue.
Kelvin’s smirk widened, clearly enjoying the playful banter. He leaned in a little closer, his voice dropping even lower. “You know I like to keep things interesting, Evette.” He said in a sultry tone, his eyes giving her a quick once over, subconsciously licking his plump lips before his eyes made their way back to hers. "Plus, what's wrong with a little roleplay?"
"I'm not having this conversation with you Kelvin. Not here." She said, trying to sound firm, but her grin was undeniable. She stepped around him, her coconut scent wafting in her wake. He was quick to turn and follow behind her, catching sight of her pearly smirk as she threw him a quick look over her shoulder. He grinned as he followed after her, his eye trained on the back of her curly pixie cut.
She ended up stopping behind one of the many busy crowds that flooded the place, all of the celebrity guests trying to either find their seats or speak with their industry friends. Giving the perfect opportunity for Kelvin to come up behind her, almost pressing against her back. "I like your hair." He purred. Evette hummed, not turning to look at him. "Thank you." She replied. They stood close, too close, the charged air between them impossible to ignore. It had been like this for months—lingering stares, unsaid words, touches that lasted longer than they should. They had danced around whatever this was for too long. And now, they had to keep everything in check, with no Aaron Pierre or Nala around to distract from the weight of their history.
It was silent between them then, the pair moving with the slow-paced crowd that was dispersing throughout the large building.
"So back to this roleplay thing." He said, and Evette instantly let small laugh.
"Do you ever listen?"
"No." He grinned. "I'm just saying. I believe the most healthy of couples do it?" He quipped with a shrug.
And then he froze, his eyes widened as he registered what just slipped out of his mouth. His heart began to race quickly, his eyes jumping between the side of her face and elsewhere. Evette could feel him stiffen, behind her, and she did as well. She began to blink, wondering if she heard that word leave his lips. They both wanted nothing more than clarity, but to have a conversation on what you would call their current sexual but also a friendly relationship was not one to have at a brand event.
Unexpectedly, a grin broke out on Evette's face. It was small, but it drew Kelvin's attention as she turned her head his way. “Interesting. Is that what you’re calling it now?” She crossed her arms, standing her ground even as her pulse quickened under the heat of his gaze. Kelvin froze, his lids fluttering as he tried to come up with a response under her now sultry gaze. She quirked a brow at him, causing him to stumble over his words. "Is this a part of the whole roleplay thing?" She continued when she got no response from him. A smirk on her lips. Kelvin blinked, his eyes squinting briefly as he looked at her. He then shrugged, looking almost nonchalant as he leaned back slightly, glancing around at the chaotic scene. “Hey, it’s a fashion show. Everyone’s acting like they’re the main character. I’m just doing my part.” His eyes flicked back to hers, the playful glint not fading.
She raised an eyebrow, her lips quirking to one side. “And your part is roleplay?" She asked. "And the main character? You’re more like a supporting role at best, Kelvin.”
“Ouch, damn." He said, placing a hand over his heart in mock pain, though his grin never faltered. The crowd began to disperse, leading the pair over to the small podiums they were supposed to sit at. “First off, I have been the main character of plenty of projects." He sassed at her as their steps became quicker in the free space. "And second, if I’m a supporting character, then you’re the lead, huh?"
Evette let out a short, amused breath, turning her head to look at the sea of flashing cameras.
"Why wouldn't I be the main character? This is my roleplay scenario after all, isn't it?" She asked. And if Kelvin had a drink he would've spit it out. He couldn’t believe she was really playing along with his stupid scenario. He also didn’t know that his joking could actually lead to something she could be into. Kelvin blinked, momentarily stunned, before a slow, impressed grin spread across his face. He tilted his head, stepping a little closer as they neared their seats. "Oh, so now it’s your scenario? I thought you didn’t do roleplay, Evette?”
She shrugged, casually adjusting the straps of her outfit. "I don’t.” She said, then glanced at him from the corner of her eye. "But if I did, I’d obviously be the lead. And iI’s obviously so it with you. It’s just the natural order of things.” She stated, Kelvin’s gaze getting trapped looking at her bloody lips that excused the sultry tone she spoke in. He let out a low chuckle, shaking his head. "You’re unbelievable." Was all he could muster, barely a mumbled, as he began to become aroused at a public event, looking at the woman in front of him
"And you’re predictable.” She shot back, glancing down at the lower half of his body to see if he obvious attraction was alerting anyone else in the building into. When he couldn’t see anything, she looked back up at the man. "Always trying to keep up." She said as they came upon their seat, Evette looking for her name plate on one of them.
Kelvin scoffed, nit even caring to look for his seat as he followed after her. "Keep up? Please. If anything, I’m the plot twist. The unexpected character development. The fan-favorite side character that steals the show." He said, and he knew he had began rambling with just about anything to distract himself from the tent that would show up in his pants if they kept their little conversation from earlier up, and he did not want pictures of that encounter popping up on the internet.
Evette hummed, pretending to consider. "Mmm... More like comedic relief."
Kelvin clutched his chest in mock offense, his dimples deepening as he fought back a grin. "Wow. So I’m just here for laughs now?"
"Well.” She teased, dragging out the word as she found her seat, her name written in nice ink on a piece of cardstock. She grinned as she moved the paper and then took a seat. She crossing her legs and then looked up at his figure towering over her. “You are entertaining." She said with a shrug.
Kelvin narrowed his eyes, his lips twitching. "Okay.” He simply shrugged before taking the seat next to her, not even nothing to check the name, only moving the tag back a little so he didn’t smush it. As he took his seat, sitting so close, his slack covered legs brushed against bare ones, due to her denim skirt. Chills ran down her legs at the feelings, but slammed if lighted when he placed his hand on his leg, his fingers beginning to brush against her smooth skin. The touch was brief but intentional, and the heat of it lingered between them. Evette raised an eyebrow, unimpressed but clearly amused.
"That’s it?" She asked dryly. "That’s your big comeback? A caress of skin? Wow. Riveting. I’m so turned on."
Kelvin huffed a laugh, shaking his head as he sat back. "Nah, I’m just warming up. This is how it started off, two people meeting at a fashion show, but the obvious connection is there.” He said, his tone low, as well as his eyes as he glanced at her. “See, I know you. You act like you’re cool, calm, and collected, but you love when I get under your skin."
Evette scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Kelvin, please." She said before gulping. She could really only pay attention to his last statement, the explanation of the beginning of their role play infighting a fire within her stomach she didn’t know she had. And she was bit about to get fired up and he wasn’t going to commit.
"Nah, nah, nah, let’s be real.” He said, tilting his head as he studied her. "You say you don’t do roleplay, but you’re way too good at this for a beginner, unless this is the acting talking. It’s almost like you’ve been waiting for someone to match your energy."
Evette didn’t answer right away, just smiled knowingly as she adjusted her posture, her confidence radiating. "You talk a lot for someone who just got demoted to comedic relief.” She finally said, her voice dripping with amusement. “Stranger.” She shrugged, counting to add onto the bit.
Kelvin exhaled a laugh, dragging a hand over his face before shaking his head. "You got jokes tonight, huh?"
"I always have jokes.” She countered easily. "You just have to get to know me. Plus you make it too easy.”
Kelvin studied her for a moment, his expression shifting just slightly—still playful, but with an underlying curiosity. "You know, Stranger," He mused, his voice softer now, “For all the talking we’re doing, we still haven’t actually said anything."
Evette met his gaze, the energy between them shifting just slightly. She tilted her head, considering him. "Maybe some things don’t need to be said."
Kelvin held her stare for a beat longer before smirking. "Or maybe," he murmured, leaning just a fraction closer, "You’re just scared of the conversation."
Evette’s lips twitched, but before she could respond, movement from across the room caught her attention.
Their banter paused as the cameras outside the glass walls flashed wildly. A commotion. A shift in energy.
And then she saw them.
Damson Idris and Noémie Adebayo.
Evette’s eyes flickered toward Kelvin’s, seeing that he had noticed them too. Damson and Noémie were locked in a tight embrace, their reunion playing out in full view of the crowd. The cameras caught everything—the warmth, the familiarity, the unspoken history between them.
Kelvin let out a low whistle. "Well, damn."
Evette hummed in agreement, watching as Damson and Noémie exchanged words within each others embrace, their body language easy and comfortable, but tinged with something deeper.
"You think there’s something there?" Kelvin asked, not looking at her but rather at the scene unfolding in front of them.
Evette considered before shrugging. "Could be.” She said. "Some things never really go away."
Kelvin glanced at her then, something unreadable in his expression. "Yeah," He murmured. "Some things don’t."
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then Evette smirked. "But if they start roleplaying in public, then we’ll really have something to talk about."
Kelvin barked out a laugh, shaking his head. "You really think you’re funny, huh?"
Evette just grinned. "No, Kelvin. I know I am."
Kelvin leaned back, watching her with a look that was equal parts amused and intrigued. "Alright then, miss main character. Let’s see how this story plays out."
“Don’t flatter me.” She aid, straightening her posture. “You’re looking a little too good tonight to be calling me the star.”
His eyes lingered on her a beat too long, his gaze unreadable, but it was enough to make Evette feel a flutter of something unfamiliar in her stomach. She looked away, trying to play it cool.
“Anyway, you should get to your seat.” She said, beginning to brush imaginary dust off his attire before nodding her head to the seat across from her, which held his name. “Enjoy the show, Mr.” She grinned.
“Well don’t be such a stranger, Miss. We’re both here for the same reason, right? To have a little fun.” He grinned back at her before wining from his seat next to her and moving to the one that held his name, directly across from her.
And over in the paparazzi frenzy, were the pair that would for sure be the stars of the night.
Noémie Adebayo and Damson Idris.
Two people who didn’t need an introduction, not to anyone in the industry.
The Prada show had already been a spectacle, but for Noémie Adebayo, the real event was happening off the runway. She was stunning in her designer denim dress ensemble, held herself with effortless poise. She posed for the cameras, her relaxed manner showing her ever confidence in her appearance. It had been about two years since the last season of Snowfall aired, since then, her and her busy costars have kind of been off the grid. She’s been working on her part in the Special Opps: Lioness, where she plays a young but ruthless CIA agent with a tragic backstory. And she was also starring in the 2025 movie OPUS with a her good friend Ayo Edebiri.
So even with the show coming to an end, that doesn’t mean the work stopped. And with being so busy, she and her best friend have been separated for a long time.
Ever since the first season of Snowfall, the viewers fell in love with her and Damson’s on-screen chemistry. The connection between Franklin and Diana felt real. She hadn’t seen Damson in what felt like ages—not properly, at least. Their last season of Snowfall had wrapped with a dramatic, gut-wrenching ending, their on-screen chemistry immortalized in the eyes of fans. And the connection between Damson and Noémie felt real as well. People loved to see them together, from the pictures and videos that came from set, to the moments they’d have in red carpets, to the paparazzi photos that surfaced of them spending time in each other’s home town. Their chemistry was alive and apparent, no matter how much they denied it. But after the show ended in 2023, their public interactions had dwindled. Life had moved forward. Damson had went open—very publicly—with his relationship with a gorgeous model, while Noémie poured herself into new projects, and the occasional friendly check-ins had dwindled to near silence.
Damson had been the first to notice her, his genuine smile growing as he closed the distance between them, coming up behind her. “Well, well. Noémie Adebayo.”
“Damson!” She replied once he turned around, letting his name roll off her tongue excitedly, before ringing him into a tight embrace. “Oh, it’s been so long!” She gushed, her head placed on his shoulder as he bent to her height a bit. So close that she was breathing in nothing but his woodsy scent. He raised to his full height, lifting her up in their tight hug. She squealed briefly before her feet hit the ground again, the cameras flashing quickly to catch the moment between the two stars. The shouts of fans and press became louder to get their attention, but they were entrapped within their win moment. Damson chuckled with his wrapped his arms around her, hands low on her waist and holding her just a beat longer than necessary. “Too long, my love.” He murmured near her ear before pulling back. His hands lingered on her waist as he looked down at her, taking in her outfit. “Damn, look at you.” He grinned.
Noémie smirked, adjusting the collar of his sleek Prada coat. “Looking sharp yourself. I see the Milan air has been treating this melanin well.” She said before quirking a brow at him. “Or all of those other vacations of yours.” She smirked, alluding to his various of paparazzi photos of him and his new girlfriend in various vacation spots, soaking in the sun.
“I could say the same.” He shot back, eyes sweeping over her denim dress ensemble. “Special Ops, huh? Trading the L.A. streets for CIA territory?” He asked. “Diana would be ashamed of you.” He reached out absentmindedly to adjust the collar of her blazer, his fingers brushing against her shoulder. She stilled, her breath catching for just a second, but neither of them acknowledged the moment. Instead, they kept talking, falling into the same effortless rhythm they always had.
She laughed. “I know! But I had to switch it up. Plus, they let me do some cool shit in this.”
“Selling drugs and killing people wasn’t cool shit?” He asked, his grin widening.
“No, it was, but now I’m doing, like, next level stuff. Like, in season two, I’m jumping out of helicopters.” She grinned. Damson’s brows raised at that, looking down at her with his hands still placed on her waist. “Oh, now that, I’d pay to see. ‘Cause aren’t you scared of heights?”
“Yes!”
Before she could explain more, the cameras swarmed them. Photographers called their names, flashing bulbs illuminating their faces as they stood there, side by side. The internet was already catching fire—two years since Snowfall ended, and here they were again, looking as comfortable, as close, as right as ever. Seeing them together again, the spark was undeniable. It wasn’t just nostalgia. It was muscle memory. Six seasons of playing lovers, knowing each other’s rhythms, finishing each other’s sentences—it all lingered in the way they looked at each other, the way her lips twitched into a smirk before he even said a word.
Noémie turned her head slightly, lowering her voice. “Are you ready?” She asked
Damson raised an eyebrow. “For what?”
“For the internet to explode.” She said before letting out a long sigh, knowing that this would be a topic in her phone for at least two weeks. He let out a laugh, shaking his head. “They never let up, huh?”
“You know they don’t.” She said before beginning to pose for photos with him next to her. Damson moved his hand on her waist, her hand on top of his as they posed for the plethora of cameras. “But you should be used to it though.” She said, trying not to disrupt her smile too much as she glanced up at him. “I seen that scene of you in Swarm, Mr.Idris.” She grinned, just as they felt that those were enough pictures. Damson laughed, shaking his head and he walked in front of her, holding his hand out for her to take. She took it, it even paying attention to the cameras and press that wanted to speak as he led her since if the venue. “Oh, you saw that?” He asked rhetorically.
“Everybody and they mama saw it, Damson!” She grinned as they continued to talk, just as what they said would happen, happened. Social media was already in a frenzy, dissecting every glance, every touch, every shift in body language.
Were they just friends? Was there something more? Had there always been something more?
Damson was still looking at her when someone from the event staff came over, politely letting them know it was time to head to their seats.
“Come on.” Noémie said, nudging him playfully. “Can’t have Prada waiting.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” He replied, walking beside her, still hand in hand.
As they weaved through the crowd, still hand in hand, the noise around them faded into the background. It had been two years, but being with Noémie felt like no time had passed at all. Damson glanced down at her, taking in her easy stride, the way she carried herself like she was born for this.
“So, CIA agent now, huh? What else have you been up to?” He asked, finally letting her hand go as they approached the private seating area, only for him to gently push her in don’t of him as the crowd became thick and he didn’t want to lose her or for her to get hurt.
Noémie hummed, adjusting her dress slightly. “Been working non-stop. Special Ops has me in the gym every day, training like I’m actually about to take on a mission. OPUS press hasn’t started, I don’t even think the trailers dropped yet. And then there’s Sinners with Michael.”
At the mention of Michael B. Jordan, Damson’s expression shifted. He didn’t react immediately, but she caught the slight tension in his jaw. His gaze was trained above her head, trying his dammdest to look anywhere but her eyes at the moment. “Right.” He began. “I saw those pictures.” His voice was casual—too casual.
She glanced up at him, a confused grin on her lips. “What pictures?”
Damson scoffed. “You know what pictures. You and him, all cozy, looking like a damn power couple in New York.”
Noémie blinked, thinking of why he was talking about before she laughed, shaking her head. “Oh, that was just press.” She said, a small smile on her face, not sensing the tensions Damson had in his frame. “We’re filming together, and we were just having dinner that day. The media grabbed a whole of it and took it with the wind.” She grinned, although her tone bridged in annoyance as she remembered the day those photos dropped. That lasted for months, but she was just glad that she last season had already aired or else that red carpet for the premiere would’ve been a little awkward for her. She glanced back up at him due to his silence, quirking a brow. “Don’t tell me you thought—” She trailed off, her smirk widening as she caught the way his lips pressed into a thin line. “You thought me and him were a thing?” She questioned.
He clicked his tongue, looking away. “Nah.”
She nudged his arm playfully. “Yes, you did! Damson, come on. You think I’d date Michael?”
“I mean, you were looking quite comfortable.” He said, finally glancing back down at her and connecting eyes. She blinked up at him, amusement clear on her face along with questioning. “Out all day, holding hands.” He listed.
“We were just holding hands.” She told him, giving a lousy gesture to behind them as she brought up only moments ago when they walked into the building, hand in hand.
“Yeah, but we’re best friends, I’ve known you for almost ten years. You’ve known him, what, three?” He scoffed out. Noémie looked up at him, her amusement still clear as they continued walking to their seats, the occasional camera clicking their way, caring them in action as they moved. She couldn’t help but smile at Damson’s obvious jealousy, because he was right. Such a great friendship for ten years and neither of them got a heads up on who the other one was dating. At least, not on her end. But that’s because she wasn’t dating Micheal! He probably felt that he was being relied on her life or something, she thought.
She rolled her eyes at him. “Because we’re friends, and we’re in a movie together. That’s it.” She paused, tilting her head at him. “But why do you care?” She asked, wanting to hear the words from his mouth instead of making up her own assumptions.
Damson opened his mouth, then shut it. He exhaled through his nose, running a hand over his jaw. “It’s just… weird, innit? You & Michael. He’s…” He trailed off, his voice quieter now. “Lori’s ex.”
Noémie’s teasing smile faltered slightly, not expecting that to be what he said. “And she’s your girlfriend. Is that what this is about?”
He sighed, rubbing his chin. “Me and Lori… we’re done.”
Noémie raised an eyebrow. “Done as in… on a break? Or done done?”
“Done done.” He admitted. “It’s been rocky for a while. We tried, but…” He shrugged. “It wasn’t working.”
She studied him for a moment, her teasing demeanor fading into something softer. “You okay?”
Damson shrugged again, though this time, his smile was a little more genuine. “Yeah. Just… moving on.” He shot her a look. “Which I thought you were doing with Michael.” He added, looking down at accusingly. “I was going crazy on all those trips when those photos drooped, thinking ‘How could by beating not tell me this?’ And you dating my, at the time, girlfriend’s ex boyfriend didn’t help either.”
Noémie rolled her eyes. “Michael is a friend. He’s not even my type, I think.” She shrugged.
Damson arched a brow. “Not your type? You think? Man’s a superstar, rich, got the muscles and all that.”
She smirked up at him at that. “Sounds like he’s your type.” She quipped, causing Damson to smack his lips as he nudged her forward a little. “So annoying.” He grumbled. “And you’re nosey.” She shot back playfully. “You were on vacation with you boo worried about what I had going on. You’re no better than those people on The Shaderoom.” She smirked.
Before he could retort, a staff member gently tapped his shoulder, gaining both of their attention. The polite man smiled at them before stating that he would lead them to their seat. He then signaling for them to take their seats when they arrived and Damson barely had time to process their conversation before he was led toward his assigned spot.
“See you after,” Noémie said, flashing him a knowing smile before slipping into her own seat as the man led Damson to the one across from her.
As the lights dimmed slightly and guests settled in, the two men exchanged glances, acknowledging each other with a polite nod. They weren’t close, but they were familiar enough—two industry men who had crossed paths before.
Damson settled in next to Kelvin Harrison Jr., who was already watching him with a smirk.
Kelvin leaned in slightly. “You good, bro?”
Damson exhaled, shaking his head. “Man… I don’t even know.”
Kelvin chuckled, nodding toward Noémie across the table. “Yeah. I can see that.”
Noémie found herself next to Evette, who had just finished her own set of conversations and photo ops from the press that came by to take photos of her in her seat. Across from them, directly in their line of sight, were Kelvin and Damson.
Evette barely glanced at Kelvin before shifting her attention to Noémie. “How was the reunion?” She asked, nodding her head over to the commotion they unintentionally caused at the entrance.
Noémie exhaled through a laugh. “Exactly what you’d expect.”
Evette hummed, stealing a glance at the two men across from them. “Well, you have his attention.”
Kelvin and Damson sat back, their body language relaxed but their eyes locked onto the women in front of them. Each man subtly watched the woman across from him—the way Kelvin’s gaze lingered on Evette’s animated expressions as she spoke, the way Damson’s eyes traced Noémie’s movements as she laughed.
Kelvin finally spoke, low enough for only Damson to hear. “So… that’s Noémie.”
Damson smirked, not taking his eyes off her. “That’s Noémie.”
Kelvin nodded, a knowing look passing between them. “Yeah. I get it.”
Damson finally turned to him, chuckling. “And you? You’re looking at Evette like she owes you something.”
Kelvin’s jaw tightened slightly before he masked it with a grin. “Maybe she does.”
Damson raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further. Instead, his attention drifted back to Noémie, who had caught him staring and was now arching a playful eyebrow in return.
The show hadn’t even started, and yet, all eyes were already on them.
