𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - Kelvin Harrison Jr. x Black!OC & Damson Idris x Black!OC
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 - In which past lovers turned fling and a set best friends, that connection seems deeper than platonic, have to sit through a Prada fashion show and it’s after party all while keeping face in front of the waiting cameras, when all they can contemplate is how they’ll spend the rest of their time in Milan.
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - flirting, suggestive conversation, roleplay(?), ex’s to flings, some descriptions, jealousy, best friends that lowkey want each other.
𝐉𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐞’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 - UNEDITED, sorry for any spelling errors and grammar mistakes. I did this because I’m in a Damson Idris type of mindset and there’s literally nothing for him, he’s nonexistent here. Then I remembered when I saw Kelvin at the Prada show, I was like “Both my men in one room and they didn’t even interact.” So I made this. This could’ve went the throuple route, and I still might do that, but this was my first reaction.
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 - 5,218+
The energy in the air was palpable and electric, a mix of flashing cameras as high-profile guests arrived, fans screams along with photographers demands filled the air, and the ever-present hum of fashion’s elite mingling before the show began.
Evette, dressed in mix of a Prada items, her clam look exuded confidence, but beneath the surface, she was still adjusting to this new chapter of her life. She exhaled slowly, grounding herself as she stepped onto the carpet.
The attention was still something she was adjusting to—Mufasa: The Lion King had catapulted her career into a different stratosphere and put her further into the public eye, and while she had always been comfortable in front of an audience the constant scrutiny was something she was still learning to navigate.
She posed with effortless grace, her outfit casual but cute nonetheless. She turned slightly, letting the cameras catch her best angles. Questions flew at her—about the film, future roles, even whispers of her personal life—but she handled them with the same cool demeanor that had gotten her this far.
Once inside, the energy shifted, less chaotic but still intense. She let out another sigh, releasing her anxious tension before looking down at the encouraging and hilarious messages from Nala.
I need more known so I can become a Brand Ambassador. This struggling actor shit is played out 🙄
She chuckled, shaking her head softly at the girl. She texted her a quick response before pocketing her phone and looking up. She began walking again as she glanced around, seeing the familiar faces of people she’d seen on telephone or tv screen, and others she hadn’t a clue of.
And then, right before she could make it to her seat, she saw him.
Kelvin Harrison Jr.
He looked good—annoyingly so. Dressed in a sleek Prada ensemble, the bright green color of his collar making his skin pop. He exuded the kind of ease that only came with confidence. Evette tensed, but only slightly. It’s not like it’s been long since she’d last seen him, and they were…friends now? If you could call what they had going in as friends. . They had long since moved past the initial post-breakup unease, settling into something familiar, easy. But what was it exactly? They weren’t just exes. They weren’t just co-stars. And after everything that had happened between them in the quiet, stolen moments off-camera… fling didn’t feel quite right either. She couldn’t help the feeling that wrapped around her beating heart at the sight of him. Admiring him from afar as he eased his way through the crowds of other celebrities.
Kelvin must have sensed her watching because he glanced up, locking eyes with her. A slow smile spread across his face—one of those knowing ones that made her stomach flip, even after all this time.
“Evette.” Kelvin greeted smoothly, his eyes flickering with something unreadable. His grinned, his dimples poking through his cheeks.
“Kelvin.” She returned softly, smiling at him.
“You look good,” he said, eyes flickering over her outfit, appreciation evident.
She smirked. “You clean up nice yourself. I didn’t know you’d be here.” She said coyly. Kelvin’s brows twitched in confusion, slightly squinting at her. “What? Yes you did.” He said, letting out a small laugh with the twinkle still in his eye.
Evette’s smile dropped as she smacked her lips. “I was trying to do a bit.” She grumbled softly, her bright demeanor dropping. Kelvin just let out a small laugh at her as she stepped closer. He then quirked a brow, looking down at her. “A bit? You mean like role play?” He quipped, his tone lower than before with a smirk showing his pearly whites. Evette scoffed although she couldn’t help the smile that was making its way onto her face. She reached up to give his shoulder a small push. “Really?" She squinted at him. "In public? At a fashion show?" She hissed through clenched teeth, tilting her head close so that there was no chance that their conversation could be heard, even over the chaos of the venue.
Kelvin’s smirk widened, clearly enjoying the playful banter. He leaned in a little closer, his voice dropping even lower. “You know I like to keep things interesting, Evette.” He said in a sultry tone, his eyes giving her a quick once over, subconsciously licking his plump lips before his eyes made their way back to hers. "Plus, what's wrong with a little roleplay?"
"I'm not having this conversation with you Kelvin. Not here." She said, trying to sound firm, but her grin was undeniable. She stepped around him, her coconut scent wafting in her wake. He was quick to turn and follow behind her, catching sight of her pearly smirk as she threw him a quick look over her shoulder. He grinned as he followed after her, his eye trained on the back of her curly pixie cut.
She ended up stopping behind one of the many busy crowds that flooded the place, all of the celebrity guests trying to either find their seats or speak with their industry friends. Giving the perfect opportunity for Kelvin to come up behind her, almost pressing against her back. "I like your hair." He purred. Evette hummed, not turning to look at him. "Thank you." She replied. They stood close, too close, the charged air between them impossible to ignore. It had been like this for months—lingering stares, unsaid words, touches that lasted longer than they should. They had danced around whatever this was for too long. And now, they had to keep everything in check, with no Aaron Pierre or Nala around to distract from the weight of their history.
It was silent between them then, the pair moving with the slow-paced crowd that was dispersing throughout the large building.
"So back to this roleplay thing." He said, and Evette instantly let small laugh.
"Do you ever listen?"
"No." He grinned. "I'm just saying. I believe the most healthy of couples do it?" He quipped with a shrug.
And then he froze, his eyes widened as he registered what just slipped out of his mouth. His heart began to race quickly, his eyes jumping between the side of her face and elsewhere. Evette could feel him stiffen, behind her, and she did as well. She began to blink, wondering if she heard that word leave his lips. They both wanted nothing more than clarity, but to have a conversation on what you would call their current sexual but also a friendly relationship was not one to have at a brand event.
Unexpectedly, a grin broke out on Evette's face. It was small, but it drew Kelvin's attention as she turned her head his way. “Interesting. Is that what you’re calling it now?” She crossed her arms, standing her ground even as her pulse quickened under the heat of his gaze. Kelvin froze, his lids fluttering as he tried to come up with a response under her now sultry gaze. She quirked a brow at him, causing him to stumble over his words. "Is this a part of the whole roleplay thing?" She continued when she got no response from him. A smirk on her lips. Kelvin blinked, his eyes squinting briefly as he looked at her. He then shrugged, looking almost nonchalant as he leaned back slightly, glancing around at the chaotic scene. “Hey, it’s a fashion show. Everyone’s acting like they’re the main character. I’m just doing my part.” His eyes flicked back to hers, the playful glint not fading.
She raised an eyebrow, her lips quirking to one side. “And your part is roleplay?" She asked. "And the main character? You’re more like a supporting role at best, Kelvin.”
“Ouch, damn." He said, placing a hand over his heart in mock pain, though his grin never faltered. The crowd began to disperse, leading the pair over to the small podiums they were supposed to sit at. “First off, I have been the main character of plenty of projects." He sassed at her as their steps became quicker in the free space. "And second, if I’m a supporting character, then you’re the lead, huh?"
Evette let out a short, amused breath, turning her head to look at the sea of flashing cameras.
"Why wouldn't I be the main character? This is my roleplay scenario after all, isn't it?" She asked. And if Kelvin had a drink he would've spit it out. He couldn’t believe she was really playing along with his stupid scenario. He also didn’t know that his joking could actually lead to something she could be into. Kelvin blinked, momentarily stunned, before a slow, impressed grin spread across his face. He tilted his head, stepping a little closer as they neared their seats. "Oh, so now it’s your scenario? I thought you didn’t do roleplay, Evette?”
She shrugged, casually adjusting the straps of her outfit. "I don’t.” She said, then glanced at him from the corner of her eye. "But if I did, I’d obviously be the lead. And iI’s obviously so it with you. It’s just the natural order of things.” She stated, Kelvin’s gaze getting trapped looking at her bloody lips that excused the sultry tone she spoke in. He let out a low chuckle, shaking his head. "You’re unbelievable." Was all he could muster, barely a mumbled, as he began to become aroused at a public event, looking at the woman in front of him
"And you’re predictable.” She shot back, glancing down at the lower half of his body to see if he obvious attraction was alerting anyone else in the building into. When he couldn’t see anything, she looked back up at the man. "Always trying to keep up." She said as they came upon their seat, Evette looking for her name plate on one of them.
Kelvin scoffed, nit even caring to look for his seat as he followed after her. "Keep up? Please. If anything, I’m the plot twist. The unexpected character development. The fan-favorite side character that steals the show." He said, and he knew he had began rambling with just about anything to distract himself from the tent that would show up in his pants if they kept their little conversation from earlier up, and he did not want pictures of that encounter popping up on the internet.
Evette hummed, pretending to consider. "Mmm... More like comedic relief."
Kelvin clutched his chest in mock offense, his dimples deepening as he fought back a grin. "Wow. So I’m just here for laughs now?"
"Well.” She teased, dragging out the word as she found her seat, her name written in nice ink on a piece of cardstock. She grinned as she moved the paper and then took a seat. She crossing her legs and then looked up at his figure towering over her. “You are entertaining." She said with a shrug.
Kelvin narrowed his eyes, his lips twitching. "Okay.” He simply shrugged before taking the seat next to her, not even nothing to check the name, only moving the tag back a little so he didn’t smush it. As he took his seat, sitting so close, his slack covered legs brushed against bare ones, due to her denim skirt. Chills ran down her legs at the feelings, but slammed if lighted when he placed his hand on his leg, his fingers beginning to brush against her smooth skin. The touch was brief but intentional, and the heat of it lingered between them. Evette raised an eyebrow, unimpressed but clearly amused.
"That’s it?" She asked dryly. "That’s your big comeback? A caress of skin? Wow. Riveting. I’m so turned on."
Kelvin huffed a laugh, shaking his head as he sat back. "Nah, I’m just warming up. This is how it started off, two people meeting at a fashion show, but the obvious connection is there.” He said, his tone low, as well as his eyes as he glanced at her. “See, I know you. You act like you’re cool, calm, and collected, but you love when I get under your skin."
Evette scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Kelvin, please." She said before gulping. She could really only pay attention to his last statement, the explanation of the beginning of their role play infighting a fire within her stomach she didn’t know she had. And she was bit about to get fired up and he wasn’t going to commit.
"Nah, nah, nah, let’s be real.” He said, tilting his head as he studied her. "You say you don’t do roleplay, but you’re way too good at this for a beginner, unless this is the acting talking. It’s almost like you’ve been waiting for someone to match your energy."
Evette didn’t answer right away, just smiled knowingly as she adjusted her posture, her confidence radiating. "You talk a lot for someone who just got demoted to comedic relief.” She finally said, her voice dripping with amusement. “Stranger.” She shrugged, counting to add onto the bit.
Kelvin exhaled a laugh, dragging a hand over his face before shaking his head. "You got jokes tonight, huh?"
"I always have jokes.” She countered easily. "You just have to get to know me. Plus you make it too easy.”
Kelvin studied her for a moment, his expression shifting just slightly—still playful, but with an underlying curiosity. "You know, Stranger," He mused, his voice softer now, “For all the talking we’re doing, we still haven’t actually said anything."
Evette met his gaze, the energy between them shifting just slightly. She tilted her head, considering him. "Maybe some things don’t need to be said."
Kelvin held her stare for a beat longer before smirking. "Or maybe," he murmured, leaning just a fraction closer, "You’re just scared of the conversation."
Evette’s lips twitched, but before she could respond, movement from across the room caught her attention.
Their banter paused as the cameras outside the glass walls flashed wildly. A commotion. A shift in energy.
And then she saw them.
Damson Idris and Noémie Adebayo.
Evette’s eyes flickered toward Kelvin’s, seeing that he had noticed them too. Damson and Noémie were locked in a tight embrace, their reunion playing out in full view of the crowd. The cameras caught everything—the warmth, the familiarity, the unspoken history between them.
Kelvin let out a low whistle. "Well, damn."
Evette hummed in agreement, watching as Damson and Noémie exchanged words within each others embrace, their body language easy and comfortable, but tinged with something deeper.
"You think there’s something there?" Kelvin asked, not looking at her but rather at the scene unfolding in front of them.
Evette considered before shrugging. "Could be.” She said. "Some things never really go away."
Kelvin glanced at her then, something unreadable in his expression. "Yeah," He murmured. "Some things don’t."
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then Evette smirked. "But if they start roleplaying in public, then we’ll really have something to talk about."
Kelvin barked out a laugh, shaking his head. "You really think you’re funny, huh?"
Evette just grinned. "No, Kelvin. I know I am."
Kelvin leaned back, watching her with a look that was equal parts amused and intrigued. "Alright then, miss main character. Let’s see how this story plays out."
“Don’t flatter me.” She aid, straightening her posture. “You’re looking a little too good tonight to be calling me the star.”
His eyes lingered on her a beat too long, his gaze unreadable, but it was enough to make Evette feel a flutter of something unfamiliar in her stomach. She looked away, trying to play it cool.
“Anyway, you should get to your seat.” She said, beginning to brush imaginary dust off his attire before nodding her head to the seat across from her, which held his name. “Enjoy the show, Mr.” She grinned.
“Well don’t be such a stranger, Miss. We’re both here for the same reason, right? To have a little fun.” He grinned back at her before wining from his seat next to her and moving to the one that held his name, directly across from her.
And over in the paparazzi frenzy, were the pair that would for sure be the stars of the night.
Noémie Adebayo and Damson Idris.
Two people who didn’t need an introduction, not to anyone in the industry.
The Prada show had already been a spectacle, but for Noémie Adebayo, the real event was happening off the runway. She was stunning in her designer denim dress ensemble, held herself with effortless poise. She posed for the cameras, her relaxed manner showing her ever confidence in her appearance. It had been about two years since the last season of Snowfall aired, since then, her and her busy costars have kind of been off the grid. She’s been working on her part in the Special Opps: Lioness, where she plays a young but ruthless CIA agent with a tragic backstory. And she was also starring in the 2025 movie OPUS with a her good friend Ayo Edebiri.
So even with the show coming to an end, that doesn’t mean the work stopped. And with being so busy, she and her best friend have been separated for a long time.
Ever since the first season of Snowfall, the viewers fell in love with her and Damson’s on-screen chemistry. The connection between Franklin and Diana felt real. She hadn’t seen Damson in what felt like ages—not properly, at least. Their last season of Snowfall had wrapped with a dramatic, gut-wrenching ending, their on-screen chemistry immortalized in the eyes of fans. And the connection between Damson and Noémie felt real as well. People loved to see them together, from the pictures and videos that came from set, to the moments they’d have in red carpets, to the paparazzi photos that surfaced of them spending time in each other’s home town. Their chemistry was alive and apparent, no matter how much they denied it. But after the show ended in 2023, their public interactions had dwindled. Life had moved forward. Damson had went open—very publicly—with his relationship with a gorgeous model, while Noémie poured herself into new projects, and the occasional friendly check-ins had dwindled to near silence.
Damson had been the first to notice her, his genuine smile growing as he closed the distance between them, coming up behind her. “Well, well. Noémie Adebayo.”
“Damson!” She replied once he turned around, letting his name roll off her tongue excitedly, before ringing him into a tight embrace. “Oh, it’s been so long!” She gushed, her head placed on his shoulder as he bent to her height a bit. So close that she was breathing in nothing but his woodsy scent. He raised to his full height, lifting her up in their tight hug. She squealed briefly before her feet hit the ground again, the cameras flashing quickly to catch the moment between the two stars. The shouts of fans and press became louder to get their attention, but they were entrapped within their win moment. Damson chuckled with his wrapped his arms around her, hands low on her waist and holding her just a beat longer than necessary. “Too long, my love.” He murmured near her ear before pulling back. His hands lingered on her waist as he looked down at her, taking in her outfit. “Damn, look at you.” He grinned.
Noémie smirked, adjusting the collar of his sleek Prada coat. “Looking sharp yourself. I see the Milan air has been treating this melanin well.” She said before quirking a brow at him. “Or all of those other vacations of yours.” She smirked, alluding to his various of paparazzi photos of him and his new girlfriend in various vacation spots, soaking in the sun.
“I could say the same.” He shot back, eyes sweeping over her denim dress ensemble. “Special Ops, huh? Trading the L.A. streets for CIA territory?” He asked. “Diana would be ashamed of you.” He reached out absentmindedly to adjust the collar of her blazer, his fingers brushing against her shoulder. She stilled, her breath catching for just a second, but neither of them acknowledged the moment. Instead, they kept talking, falling into the same effortless rhythm they always had.
She laughed. “I know! But I had to switch it up. Plus, they let me do some cool shit in this.”
“Selling drugs and killing people wasn’t cool shit?” He asked, his grin widening.
“No, it was, but now I’m doing, like, next level stuff. Like, in season two, I’m jumping out of helicopters.” She grinned. Damson’s brows raised at that, looking down at her with his hands still placed on her waist. “Oh, now that, I’d pay to see. ‘Cause aren’t you scared of heights?”
“Yes!”
Before she could explain more, the cameras swarmed them. Photographers called their names, flashing bulbs illuminating their faces as they stood there, side by side. The internet was already catching fire—two years since Snowfall ended, and here they were again, looking as comfortable, as close, as right as ever. Seeing them together again, the spark was undeniable. It wasn’t just nostalgia. It was muscle memory. Six seasons of playing lovers, knowing each other’s rhythms, finishing each other’s sentences—it all lingered in the way they looked at each other, the way her lips twitched into a smirk before he even said a word.
Noémie turned her head slightly, lowering her voice. “Are you ready?” She asked
Damson raised an eyebrow. “For what?”
“For the internet to explode.” She said before letting out a long sigh, knowing that this would be a topic in her phone for at least two weeks. He let out a laugh, shaking his head. “They never let up, huh?”
“You know they don’t.” She said before beginning to pose for photos with him next to her. Damson moved his hand on her waist, her hand on top of his as they posed for the plethora of cameras. “But you should be used to it though.” She said, trying not to disrupt her smile too much as she glanced up at him. “I seen that scene of you in Swarm, Mr.Idris.” She grinned, just as they felt that those were enough pictures. Damson laughed, shaking his head and he walked in front of her, holding his hand out for her to take. She took it, it even paying attention to the cameras and press that wanted to speak as he led her since if the venue. “Oh, you saw that?” He asked rhetorically.
“Everybody and they mama saw it, Damson!” She grinned as they continued to talk, just as what they said would happen, happened. Social media was already in a frenzy, dissecting every glance, every touch, every shift in body language.
Were they just friends? Was there something more? Had there always been something more?
Damson was still looking at her when someone from the event staff came over, politely letting them know it was time to head to their seats.
“Come on.” Noémie said, nudging him playfully. “Can’t have Prada waiting.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” He replied, walking beside her, still hand in hand.
As they weaved through the crowd, still hand in hand, the noise around them faded into the background. It had been two years, but being with Noémie felt like no time had passed at all. Damson glanced down at her, taking in her easy stride, the way she carried herself like she was born for this.
“So, CIA agent now, huh? What else have you been up to?” He asked, finally letting her hand go as they approached the private seating area, only for him to gently push her in don’t of him as the crowd became thick and he didn’t want to lose her or for her to get hurt.
Noémie hummed, adjusting her dress slightly. “Been working non-stop. Special Ops has me in the gym every day, training like I’m actually about to take on a mission. OPUS press hasn’t started, I don’t even think the trailers dropped yet. And then there’s Sinners with Michael.”
At the mention of Michael B. Jordan, Damson’s expression shifted. He didn’t react immediately, but she caught the slight tension in his jaw. His gaze was trained above her head, trying his dammdest to look anywhere but her eyes at the moment. “Right.” He began. “I saw those pictures.” His voice was casual—too casual.
She glanced up at him, a confused grin on her lips. “What pictures?”
Damson scoffed. “You know what pictures. You and him, all cozy, looking like a damn power couple in New York.”
Noémie blinked, thinking of why he was talking about before she laughed, shaking her head. “Oh, that was just press.” She said, a small smile on her face, not sensing the tensions Damson had in his frame. “We’re filming together, and we were just having dinner that day. The media grabbed a whole of it and took it with the wind.” She grinned, although her tone bridged in annoyance as she remembered the day those photos dropped. That lasted for months, but she was just glad that she last season had already aired or else that red carpet for the premiere would’ve been a little awkward for her. She glanced back up at him due to his silence, quirking a brow. “Don’t tell me you thought—” She trailed off, her smirk widening as she caught the way his lips pressed into a thin line. “You thought me and him were a thing?” She questioned.
He clicked his tongue, looking away. “Nah.”
She nudged his arm playfully. “Yes, you did! Damson, come on. You think I’d date Michael?”
“I mean, you were looking quite comfortable.” He said, finally glancing back down at her and connecting eyes. She blinked up at him, amusement clear on her face along with questioning. “Out all day, holding hands.” He listed.
“We were just holding hands.” She told him, giving a lousy gesture to behind them as she brought up only moments ago when they walked into the building, hand in hand.
“Yeah, but we’re best friends, I’ve known you for almost ten years. You’ve known him, what, three?” He scoffed out. Noémie looked up at him, her amusement still clear as they continued walking to their seats, the occasional camera clicking their way, caring them in action as they moved. She couldn’t help but smile at Damson’s obvious jealousy, because he was right. Such a great friendship for ten years and neither of them got a heads up on who the other one was dating. At least, not on her end. But that’s because she wasn’t dating Micheal! He probably felt that he was being relied on her life or something, she thought.
She rolled her eyes at him. “Because we’re friends, and we’re in a movie together. That’s it.” She paused, tilting her head at him. “But why do you care?” She asked, wanting to hear the words from his mouth instead of making up her own assumptions.
Damson opened his mouth, then shut it. He exhaled through his nose, running a hand over his jaw. “It’s just… weird, innit? You & Michael. He’s…” He trailed off, his voice quieter now. “Lori’s ex.”
Noémie’s teasing smile faltered slightly, not expecting that to be what he said. “And she’s your girlfriend. Is that what this is about?”
He sighed, rubbing his chin. “Me and Lori… we’re done.”
Noémie raised an eyebrow. “Done as in… on a break? Or done done?”
“Done done.” He admitted. “It’s been rocky for a while. We tried, but…” He shrugged. “It wasn’t working.”
She studied him for a moment, her teasing demeanor fading into something softer. “You okay?”
Damson shrugged again, though this time, his smile was a little more genuine. “Yeah. Just… moving on.” He shot her a look. “Which I thought you were doing with Michael.” He added, looking down at accusingly. “I was going crazy on all those trips when those photos drooped, thinking ‘How could by beating not tell me this?’ And you dating my, at the time, girlfriend’s ex boyfriend didn’t help either.”
Noémie rolled her eyes. “Michael is a friend. He’s not even my type, I think.” She shrugged.
Damson arched a brow. “Not your type? You think? Man’s a superstar, rich, got the muscles and all that.”
She smirked up at him at that. “Sounds like he’s your type.” She quipped, causing Damson to smack his lips as he nudged her forward a little. “So annoying.” He grumbled. “And you’re nosey.” She shot back playfully. “You were on vacation with you boo worried about what I had going on. You’re no better than those people on The Shaderoom.” She smirked.
Before he could retort, a staff member gently tapped his shoulder, gaining both of their attention. The polite man smiled at them before stating that he would lead them to their seat. He then signaling for them to take their seats when they arrived and Damson barely had time to process their conversation before he was led toward his assigned spot.
“See you after,” Noémie said, flashing him a knowing smile before slipping into her own seat as the man led Damson to the one across from her.
As the lights dimmed slightly and guests settled in, the two men exchanged glances, acknowledging each other with a polite nod. They weren’t close, but they were familiar enough—two industry men who had crossed paths before.
Damson settled in next to Kelvin Harrison Jr., who was already watching him with a smirk.
Kelvin leaned in slightly. “You good, bro?”
Damson exhaled, shaking his head. “Man… I don’t even know.”
Kelvin chuckled, nodding toward Noémie across the table. “Yeah. I can see that.”
Noémie found herself next to Evette, who had just finished her own set of conversations and photo ops from the press that came by to take photos of her in her seat. Across from them, directly in their line of sight, were Kelvin and Damson.
Evette barely glanced at Kelvin before shifting her attention to Noémie. “How was the reunion?” She asked, nodding her head over to the commotion they unintentionally caused at the entrance.
Noémie exhaled through a laugh. “Exactly what you’d expect.”
Evette hummed, stealing a glance at the two men across from them. “Well, you have his attention.”
Kelvin and Damson sat back, their body language relaxed but their eyes locked onto the women in front of them. Each man subtly watched the woman across from him—the way Kelvin’s gaze lingered on Evette’s animated expressions as she spoke, the way Damson’s eyes traced Noémie’s movements as she laughed.
Kelvin finally spoke, low enough for only Damson to hear. “So… that’s Noémie.”
Damson smirked, not taking his eyes off her. “That’s Noémie.”
Kelvin nodded, a knowing look passing between them. “Yeah. I get it.”
Damson finally turned to him, chuckling. “And you? You’re looking at Evette like she owes you something.”
Kelvin’s jaw tightened slightly before he masked it with a grin. “Maybe she does.”
Damson raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further. Instead, his attention drifted back to Noémie, who had caught him staring and was now arching a playful eyebrow in return.
The show hadn’t even started, and yet, all eyes were already on them.

SNOWFALL SEASON 3 Franklin.
Pairing: Franklin Saint x Black Fem Reader!
Warnings/Type: Established Relationship. Hurt, Comfort, A little bit of Fluff, Use of the n-word. Prequel to RockABye Saint. ONE SHOT!
Summary: You loved your brother Leon dearly, but damn could he be super over protective! No guy you brought home to meet your mom or talked to was ever good enough for you according to Leon. Hm. Not even a childhood friend who went by the name, Franklin Saint? Never in a million years would you consider it. Well, until one night.
Word count: 7,821k / Please consider leaving a comment to tell me what you thought of the story and to show some love and support. Like this story? To read other works please check out the Masterlist.
Had there been any way to get in touch with Leon, you would have called him to pick you back up. He and Eva were likely already at their destination by now. Wherever that might be. You never got around to asking about his plans for the evening, too preoccupied with the concerns of a now ex boyfriend for any useful details that might have helped the situation. Damn the cloudiness of your thoughts, and damn Darnell.
The direction in which you faced seemed ominous. The walk home would be a long one, descending the almost pitch black street with a gown you hugged to your chest like a childhood security blanket. Your single benefit of protection. One that had failed you.
For weeks, you saved the bit of money you’d gotten from your part-time job at the ice cream shop in order to get the one that caught your eye. The first time you tried it on, you felt like you were stepping out of the pages of some fairytale where princesses and knights lived. The color sat breathtakingly against your skin tone, and most importantly, a result of your own effort. No help from your mother, and not Leon, who held his disdain for Darnell since the first day you’d introduced them. Funny how, after tonight, you would carry that same sentiment.
The argument, which happened no less than twenty minutes before, persisted, playing like a never-ending VHS tape on repeat, and you understood all too well why fictional stories were confined to the pages of books.
“Liar. Didn’t even have the decency to cover your tracks! How long were you fucking her? Be man enough to at least tell me!”
Anger stirred within you, which undoubtedly caused you to lose control for a brief moment and swim in an emotional turbulence. Leon always warned you to keep your hands to yourself. Both you and Leon inherited your mother’s temper. “Listen,” he said one time on a casual Wednesday afternoon, “I love you to death, sis, but don’t put yo hands on no nigga when you mad, less you ready for what comes next. I don’t give a damn how big and bad you pretend you are. He’ll fuck you up. If that happens, I’ll be in jail.”
You halfway thought Darnell would haul off and hit you clean across the face. The impact of his back knocking against part of the TV and dresser caused some things to fall to the floor as the girl scrambled to gather her clothes when you pushed him. The sheets were still ugly and tangled with the scent of after sex. The bed. Once upon a time you both laughed together on it, played games and watched movies, sometimes in each other’s arms before his hands reached your pants zipper, and the kissing was just too much tongue that you urged him to stop.
“Whole time. Fuck you gonna do about it? I know one thing, you better keep ya got damn hands to yourself.”
You were glad you held your composure and headed the warning, both from Darnell and Leon. The last thing you wanted was to be the reason your brother went to prison, but it didn’t stop your mouth and its taunting invites. You felt a glint of satisfaction in challenging him.
“Or what? What are you gonna do? Tell me?”
He smirked, and you balled your fist in response to his arrogance and lack of remorse.
“Nothing. I’ll tell you what you bout’ to do though. Get yo ass the fuck up out ma house.”
“Are you serious right now?”
“As a heart attack.”
“Why? Just tell me why? I deserve that at least, Darnell.”
“Because I’m tired of waiting for you. Shit, you act like a nigga gotta marry you to get some pussy. Shit’s sickening. I shouldn’t have to go through that as your nigga. All the bread I spent on yo’ ass. Time and attention. I literally gotta beg you! You won’t even let me taste that shit without yo’ ass being scary. Bottom line, I realized that stuck up prudes aren’t my thing any more.”
“Oh, and that is.”
You knew her. Not directly. Some girl you briefly saw around. If you cared enough, you would have heeded to the whispers about the reputation she carried around the neighborhood. Why bother? You assumed you were far removed. Had nothing to worry about when it came to your boyfriend. But he decided to put the cherry on top and defend her. Brooklyn Shepherds. She lived two buildings down.
“Don’t be mad. Shit, at least she’s living her life having fun. Not acting like she better than ever’body. Stuck up!”
“I never acted like that. You did all this because I wouldn’t have sex with you. Typical though. That’s all you ever fucking thoght about Darnell. I just wasn’t ready, damn!”
“Whatever man. No explanation needed. We done.”
As a brief bit of wind passed by, you shut your eyes momentarily before heading on. You’d held suspicions after the phone calls became less and less, although your heart wouldn’t let you believe it. Darnell, your first serious boyfriend falling out of love with you.
In the beginning of the relationship, you spent almost every day with one another. That’s why you loved beginnings. With things so new and fresh, forever could be a real possibility. After spending months learning one another, you had developed a habit of taking mental notes of what different facial expressions and certain body movements meant for him. What he liked and didn’t.
Nearing the end, you sensed some frustrations when you rejected his advances a little too often, or made excuses for them not to happen. The furthest it had gotten was him fingering you in the back seat of his dad’s car. An experience you wanted to forget. A mundane occurrence really, like some forgiven object had ended up in places it shouldn’t have been. Shame on you for not listening to your instincts. What they called a woman’s intuition. You forgave him. Some guys just needed practice. Of course, that strange love thing had a way of blinding logic. Fear ruled both. If worse one way, then surely he’d be downright terrible where it counted. If nothing else, you wanted the first time to be special. Or, at least something you wouldn’t mind talking to your friends about with some type of smile that wouldn’t be forced.
A glance down at the dress, and tears burned down the side of your cheeks. Frantically, you located a dumpster and made your way to shove the dress inside, inch by inch. The pretty lilac would be solid by grease and grime from the years of remaining remnants of stinking residue the dumpster accumulated. You cursed, over and over again, haunted by those sweet words, smiles, and gentle touches. Everything!
When the dress disappeared you found a ledge nearby and sat down. The end of a relationship was like a close death in a way. All the evidence of the breakup would live on your face. Puffy red eyes would be hard to explain away, unlike a missing ball gown. Whimpers turned into sobs. With no way to see what contorted facial expression you held through it all, you covered your face.
“Beanz?”
You shot up, scanning the area for whomever called out your nickname. Your gaze landed on a car, although the darkness didn’t help you identify who it belonged to right away. From where you sat, a face didn’t register from beyond the window that rolled down. The car door opened. You stood to your feet. The exposure the streetlamp provided had the tension in your shoulders loosen, extinguishing your fight-or-flight response. “Franklin….” you uttered before wiping away any trace of tears.
“What are you doing out here?”
His face looked every bit suspicious and concerned under the dim lightning. You shrugged. Your mind ran a million miles a minute.
“Uh. Just walking. Getting some air.”
Franklin lifted his chin. With his eyes, he seemed to scan round about the area you’d stopped to throw away the dress.
“You know it’s not really safe to be out here like this, B.”
“It wasn’t intentional. No phone to call for a ride. I was at Darnell’s House just now.”
Franklin cocked his head to one side. “So he couldn’t drive you?”
You rolled your eyes up to catch any tears. “No. See, we um, we kinda got into it, so I left.”
One of his eyebrows lifted. “What do you mean, got into it?” His dark gaze traveled. “You okay?”
“Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine.”
Franklin took two steps forward. His tall frame blocked more of the light.
“You sure? He didn’t put his hands on you or anything, did he?”
You shook your head. He held a concerned older brother type of tone when he’d asked. It brought a bit of comfort. The same kind that Leon would have whenever you hurt yourself, falling off your bike, or accidentally standing too close to the pan when frying chicken and getting popped by grease. In that way, you felt like you had two brothers looking out.
“No, no, he didn’t.”
“Alright. What’s this?”
Your eyes found the place on your arm. There, over pretty brown skin, different colors mingled together. A little red, and a hue that resembled a faint purple.
“Damn. Um…”
You hadn’t noticed. It probably happened when Darnell had to drag you out the front door after you refused to go on your own. You bumped into walls and door frames during all the pushing and shoving, trying to resist his attempts. He’d gotten frustrated. With a shrug, you locked eyes with your brother’s best friend.
“It’s nothing.”
He didn’t blink or move.
“Doesn’t look like nothing. He still home?”
Franklin faced the direction that led back to Darnell’s block. You turned to face the same path.
“What? Why?”
He shrugged. “Just wanna talk to him.”
“What do you mean by that? Why would you talk to him?”
Franklin grinned, but it appeared to be laced with a type of malice. Some form of vexation lived behind his stare. The way he’d said it, nonchalant and casual, meant otherwise. You weren’t that dense. It wouldn’t be just talking.
Franklin, more subtle, unlike Leon who, when mad, you could absolutely tell was mad, temper on one thousand! Franklin Saint, on the other hand, was the type to keep things chill until all the chill left and hell visualized in the form of a man. That hadn't been the case growing up, but Franklin wasn’t the same anymore. He’d made for himself quite the reputation, and you’d heard stories. Rumors you weren’t sure you believed but headed all the same. You were mad at Darnell. Hurt, even devastated with the way things had ended, but you didn’t want him physically hurt, or worse. Franklin proceeded to take another step forward, but you’d raised your hands to keep him in place.
“Wait, wait. No, stop. Hold on!”
Heart pounding, images flooded your head of how everything could end up if he actually went to Darnell’s house for real!
“It’s fine,” you assured him. “I said I’m good.” You took a deep breath. “Listen. I’ve had a really eventful night already. Can we just go, please?”
…
The warm night air streamed through the open window of the car, carrying with it the distant noise and the occasional horn from the bustling streets of Los Angeles. Beneath the star-sprinkled sky, the city pulsated with energy. You sat in the passenger seat, a bittersweet smile lingering on your lips as the heavy bass thumped through the speakers. Lights flickered through the windshield, casting playful reflections on your forehead as you leaned your head against the glass. With the windows down, the sweet sound of Little Micheal Jackson and his other four brothers’ voices drifted through the car, reminiscent of summer days and carefree moments as one of their best tunes played.
Don’t you know I sit around with my head hanging down and I wonder who’s loving you…
“Want me to change it?” Franklin asked, glancing at you from the driver’s seat. His tightly coiled mini afro had lifted and side burns grew in with the promise of a beard starting.
You sighed, your gaze still fixed outside. “No, it’s fine. I like the Jackson 5,” you replied.
You wouldn’t mind a more upbeat song. The melancholic lyrics were too close to your current situation. At Least it hadn’t been… Never Can Say Goodbye.
Franklin turned down an empty side street, further immersed in the story of your heartbreak. “You sure you good,” he said, his voice edged with frustration.
“I’m fine. Thanks again for driving me home.”
The drive became silent for a moment. The quiet punctuated only by the soft strumming beats filling the car.
“I guess I was just really excited about tonight. Everything else came outta nowhere and ruined it.”
“Excited? Why? What was tonight?”
“Well. It’s silly because I don’t really do the church thing.” A short chuckle had you brushing off the idea of being some crazed religious fanatic. “If anything,” you added, “our mama made us go but. It might have been a month past, maybe. I’m not really sure of the date and time, but they were talking about this dance they’d been planning. It was supposed to be real classy, like ballroom Cinderella fancy.”
Franklin nodded, but kept his eyes on the road ahead. “Okay, I got a good mental picture. White folks speaking that proper English, like good, ay’ Morgan! With the pinky on the up and all that?”
You didn’t want to laugh, but his switch in accent came out unexpectedly. Warmth spread through your chest. The moment was fleeting, but it mattered.
“Yeah, something like that. Real fancy, sept no white, just black folk.”
A little grin lifted the side of his mouth and you noticed.
“I could see it. You’re into all that stuff. Even back then.”
You smacked your teeth and rolled your eyes.
He chuckled and threw you a glance. “Don’t you remember? Chocolate on your face. Little fairy princess dress trying to follow me and Lee around.”
You sighed with a purse of the lips and dismissed the memory, shaking your head. “Well, anyway. I kinda thought it would be different. You know something new to do aside from going to the movies or the skating rink.”
Franklin caught your gaze, his expression serious for a moment. “Darnell was supposed to go with you tonight,” he implied, his tone genuine.
Something about the way he looked at you felt so different from before, like he truly saw you. Not just as his best friend’s little sister, but as you, the girl with hopes and wants behind the surface.
“Yeah. But I lucked out twice, right? No dance, and now no boyfriend either.” You sank down in the seat. “Oh well, huh, maybe it was all just stupid,” you muttered.
The songs changed in and out. The night wore. The weight of the past was heavy as the car ride continued until Franklin had parked. You gathered yourself to move and open the door when you realized you weren’t looking at your house.
“Franklin, where are we?”
You were greeted with the large sign that read Amusement Park in the distance.
“Well, what does it look like?”
The gates loomed ahead, vibrant and inviting. Each flickering with a promise of joy and thrill behind their standing. The scents of popcorn and cotton candy wafted through the air when you stepped from the car.
“I thought you were taking me home.”
Franklin got out. “Naw. It’s too early. It’s Friday, right?” He shrugged. “I figured since you missed the dance, this might make up for it.”
“Oh. Okay listen…”
“I was planning to come here by myself. Figured it might be fun with someone else, though.” He opened the door. “But hey, if you’d rather me take you home…”
The whoosh of the roller coaster and the delighted screams of riders soared.
“Mm. Okay. Let’s go.”
Franklin walked around to the other side, took your hand and led you forward.
“See now, that's the spirit.”
…
Families and clusters of friend groups bustled around. Rides whirled in a kaleidoscope of colors against the dark backdrop of the night sky, and under a sprawling canopy of stars, the amusement park buzzed with life. The Smells were the first thing that caught your attention stepping past the gate. More specifically, the funnel cake window. One server handed an awaiting customer a large order of two! The white powder was enough to make you drool with envy for a taste.
“Oh my gosh,” you pointed. “I haven’t had one of those in like what, how long has it been?” You tried to comb your mind for the answer while your feet guided you closer and closer. You were stopped by Franklin’s pull of your hand.
“Hold up. We can do that later.”
“Later?” The window appeared to stretch further and further with his halt. “But when would be a better time for funnel cake, Frank?” You couldn’t think of any. “Funnel Cake is the reason people come to these things.” You pointed again, your voice expressing much more urgency than before. “Please! I won’t even get a large one,” you bargained.
Franklin laughed, but shook his head. “You never eat first. How can you ride the roller coaster if you eat? I love you n’all lil bean pie, but I’m not sure I want you to throw up all over my new shirt so soon. This not even two days old.”
Only when he said it did you notice what he was wearing. Navy blue short sleeve Polo t-shirt with brown khaki pants, and those Adidas he liked. One word stuck out among your observation of his outfit.
“Uh, Rollercoaster. Like right now?”
“Yeah, why not?”
“Franklin. I mean, we just got here. I don’t know, I was thinking something a little less extreme to start out with. Maybe those.”
You pointed toward the tea cups. Franklin shook his head, a grin plastered on his face.
“Nope. This is go big or go home. Plus, what was all that talk bout’ you being this Coaster Queen? Unconquerable and all that?”
You smacked your teeth. You remembered the conversation.
“Franklin, I said that two years ago.”
“Right, reputation noted. So come on.”
He threw his arm over your shoulder and directed you the opposite way of the funnel cake window and the line for tea cup ride.
As you both waited, you couldn’t shake the fluttering anticipation in your chest. As experienced as you were, it never failed. The path ahead was lit by glowing lanterns, and you caught snippets of conversations. Eager chatter, some couples giggling.
“Are you ready for the ultimate test of courage?” Franklin teased, nudging you with his elbow as you walked past a glowing sign that read ‘IRON RAIL’ in bright green letters.
You turned to Franklin, a wave of determination washing over you. You had very much grown the kinda reputation he talked about as the Coaster Queen. Why be modest?
“You mean, are you ready? I’m pretty sure I’ll be the one holding your hand when we plunge into the abyss,” you joked, flashing him a confident grin.
You both meandered through the crowd, pushing past throngs of exhilarated fans of all ages. Nearby, a little girl screamed with delight as she spun around in a colorful spider ride. The first stop was the Devil’s Fury. A monstrous structure that twisted and turned at dizzying speeds.
“Just gotta remember, it’s not about fear. It’s about conquering it,” you said, leaning over the rails to gaze ahead of the line.
“Exactly. And I’ll be right next to you making sure you stay fearless,” Franklin added, his voice playful and goofy.
You flicked his arm. “Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Like I said.”
The climb into the coaster broke down the binds of your worries with each click of the safety bar. Strapped in, you were surrounded by clanking sounds, the clicks of the roller coaster gearing up almost drowned out the pounding of your heart.
“Here we go!” Franklin shouted over the clamor, his enthusiasm contagious.
The ride took off, hurtling upward as the ground fell away beneath you. You squeezed your eyes shut, but you could feel the rush of wind whip across your face and tease the two small sections of hair you’d parted by each of the corners of your forehead, before making your low bun earlier that day. With some blue magic and a bit of water, you had created two curls that you were satisfied with, and as light as they were, you felt their frolic.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any higher, the coaster reached its peak, and then plummeted! You screamed, but laughter came soon after, a mixture of exhilaration and joy. You could hear Franklin laughing beside you. “WHOOOO!” He shouted over the rush of wind. Adrenaline sparked as the coaster plunged down for the second time.
After the ride, both you and Franklin stumbled out, breathless.
“See? That wasn’t so bad. Rollercoaster first,” Franklin closed space to pinch one of your cheeks.
You gave him a light push. “I can’t believe I let you talk me into that. That was my first time riding in the front cart!”
“First time for everything.”
You stopped. A smirk began to form.
“Let’s do it again!”
…
With each ride, with every twist and turn, you found yourself bolder and more adventurous. From one attraction to the next, moments melding together, the exhilarating heights, the spiraling drops, the way Franklin would take hold of your hand during the scariest moments, you were immersed in the present.
You got your funnel cake after the bumper cars, then a second that you ended up splitting with Franklin, not including the chili dogs and fries. You were almost full by the time you spotted the pink ice cream truck. Franklin stepped up, exuberantly placing the order while you stretched your arms out, relishing the cool breeze that wrapped around you like a hug.
Balancing two oversized cones on his way back, neither of you managed to keep hands clean. Ice cream dripped down wrists, sticky and sweet. Another coster speed past and the park’s pulse reverberated.
“Hey,” Franklin said, giving you a sidelong glance, one cone raised in a mock toast. “To the Coaster Queen. May she reign fearless.”
“Much obliged,” you echoed, clinking your cone against his.
The park still jumped with life by the time you both came across the games. All the windows lined perfectly on the boardwalk. Various challenges for prizes, big and small. Franklin took out his wallet, and in exchange for the green cash slapped down on the countertop, he’d gotten back a row of tickets for both you and him.
He beat you at basketball, and the balloon darts, and you surpassed him at boat racing with a very close tie at throwing bean bags. Only when it came to fishing did your luck run out. You smacked your teeth by the second loss and pouted a little, which gained his attention.
“What?”
“Oh nothing. No one ever wins. I was going for that big one right there.”
Franklin averted his eyes to a large booth adorned with bright lights and plush stuffed animals hanging in every direction.
“It’s the pink and purple one,” you said to clarify your choice of selection.
“Hm. Well, let’s see what we can do.”
He extended the half eaten cotton candy your way, and you took it reluctantly as he reached in his pocket for the tickets he had left.
Hook the end of bottles and lift without the bottle falling off. Looked simple enough. You narrowed your eyes. Oh, how looks could be deceiving. You watched Franklin take the pole in hand. Your eyes stayed on his movements.
A loss on the first try.
“Shit,” Franklin spat with exasperation, yanking out four more tickets. “Let me do it again.”
You released a breath you didn’t know you were holding. “It’s okay, it’s harder than it looks.”
You knew he wasn’t about to lose. If it took all the damn tickets and he needed to buy more tickets, he would find a drive somewhere deep down inside himself to win. Even when it came to a stuffed animal you didn’t need. Franklin closed his eyes and sucked in air. The employee over the game tossed a glance and shook his head before folding his arms to watch him attempt a second try. Franklin cleared his throat, moved his head from side to side and rolled his shoulders, this time moving his hand with more caution.
Again, another failed attempt.
You concluded the game had to be rigged, but the determination stayed with him and he ushered out more tickets as a couple people began to stop and stare. Franklin licked his lips, and with another exhale he was at it again. Refocused, he regarded the hook, his mouth falling open as he steadied his hand to rise.
“There it is…” He mumbled, raising it carefully, higher and higher, until!
“Yes!”
You jumped up and down and squealed with delight. A triumphant smile found Franklin and he shot his fist in the air over and over. The employee grabbed the stuffed bear that cost Franklin three fails and several tickets to achieve. He took it and said a kind thank you to the worker before he turned, extending it out toward you.
“All yours lil’ Bean.”
You reached for it happily, grinning from ear to ear as you cradled the stuffed animal in a tight squeeze.
“It’s so soft. Just the one I wanted to, Mm! Thank you Frank N’ Franks.”
You offered him his cotton candy just before his pager buzzed loudly at his hip. You watched his brows crease as he took it off his belt to look at the number.
“Give me a second. Gotta make a call.”
His voice had gone from playful to serious in a matter of seconds.
Work Franklin had arrived.
Your smile faltered.
“Yeah. Sure of course. I'll meet you over by the garden.”
He left and You’d found a weathered wooden bench that hadn't been occupied near by the small gated greenage that had potential to flourish into a full grown garden, with time. You sat, and absentmindedly began to trace the intricate designs of the promise ring that somehow escaped being tossed away with the same dress you had worked tirelessly for.
Gaze drifting around the park, a couple in the distance soon caught your eye. Young, radiant, and oblivious to the world around them as they leaned into each other, fingers intertwined, whispering sweet nothings. Joy bubbled over, illuminating their surroundings. The girl’s smile, beautiful, unguarded as her lover, looked as if he held the universe in his hands. It could be a scene from a romance movie. You imagined that all girls wanted to be looked at that way.
A sudden pang of longing hit.
Had there ever been a time Darnell felt that way. Truly?
With every gentle touch between them, the weight of grief and envy pressed down. A torrent of emotions swirled inside. Love seemed to evaporate. Or at least the thought that it could be real for you.
The urge to remove the promise ring that had until that moment seemed like a part of your identity overcame your desire to hold on to the past. Trembling slightly, you slipped it off your finger, revealing the bare skin beneath. One night had changed so many plans. Unwoven dreams unraveled by a few careless words and a change of heart, and you found yourself biting at your lip in order to hold what whaled up from all the memories. In a similar manner, anguish resurfaced and, inexplicably, time suddenly became a crucial thing to be aware of.
Upon seeing Franklin making his way back, you sat the ring down on the bench and got up.
“Did you see a clock around when you went to make your call?” You asked.
Franklin nodded. “Yeah, eleven o’clock.”
That meant the dance had come to its end. Franklin’s voice made you grip the bear a little tighter.
“We Been here for a good five hours. Rode damn near everything, I think. We probably should start heading back to the car. I need to get you home, so yo’ mama don’t worry. Trip or nothing.”
You nodded, but shifted your gaze eastbound. “We didn’t get everything. Just one more left.”
…
Children chased each other around colorful booths. You shifted your feet, glancing at the entrance where the wooden structure of the Ferris Wheel loomed like a giant spinning dream.
The line moved quickly, filled with the chatter of eager riders.
When you both finally reached the front, the operator waved you on. You and Franklin climbed into a small enclosed car. As the wheel began its ascent, the sounds of the amusement park faded into a distant hum.
As the ride carried, you and Franklin settled into a comfortable banter, like slipping back into an old pair of shoes. As you reached the top the ride would pause periodically for a moment to let other riders board. The fairgrounds spread out beneath like an intricate tapestry.
“Member guy in bumper car number three was tripping? I mean, the ride is called bumper cars. You’re gonna get bumped. Like why even get in the line if you had any reservations?”
“Right, but he wasn’t hearing it. That’s why I kept bumping him.”
You dropped your head as your shoulders bounced with laughter. The memory, still so clear. The guy would zoom by, careful not to collide with the other drivers, then Franklin came out of nowhere and side swiped him.
“You was wrong for that. Just when he thought his life got on a good smooth path, here you come to bump him outta it.”
Franklin shrugged, but a grin stayed on him, smug and careless.
“Aye. He can’t blame that on me.”
Your head shot up, and you snapped your fingers in his direction, eager to share the memory before it passed.
“No, my favorite was the one ride where, wait, what was it called? I don’t know but the one that went upside down and twirled. Now that, beside the roller coaster, was the best.”
“Yeah, I could tell. You screamed the entire ride. Damn eardrums still achy.”
You waved him off with a laugh. “Oh whatever. Good times though. Good times.”
The phrase offered a pause. Franklin trying to hide his smile had you tilting your head and rubbing your lips together, unable to let the moment pass by. Almost instinctively, you and Franklin began to sing the familiar tune. It started softly, voices hesitant, but soon the lyrics flowed easily.
Franklin bounced his shoulders and you tapped your foot.
“Fish don't fry in the kitchen, beans don't burn on the grill, took a whole lotta tryin’ just to get up that hill, now we're up in the big leagues, gettin’ our turn at bat, as long as we live, it's you and me baby, there ain't nothin wrong with that, well we're movin’ on up to the east side to a deluxe apartment in the sky!”
The cart reached its peak, and you and Franklin grew quiet for a moment as you both soaked in the breathtaking view. You were cradling the stuffed Teddy Bear in your lap, denim jacket clinging to your arms in a comforting embrace while the colorful lights glowed and the cart swayed gently in the breeze. You’d experienced a sensation of lightheadedness. The excitement of the Ferris Wheel mirrored the feeling of being with Franklin. He presented a sense of freedom from the worries and uncertainties that plagued your mind. You found yourself hoping for a longer ride. All of a sudden, you didn't want to go home. His laughter since arriving had lifted the weight from your shoulders, but the smile left you.
“You good lil Bean Pie?” His eyes softened when he looked at you.
“Yeah, why do you ask Frank N Franks?”
“Noticed the energy shift.”
“Oh, that.” You run your fingers through the synthetic animal fur.“Trust me it has nothing to do with this. You know I couldn’t leave without riding the biggest attraction.”
“Then what is it?”
“I remembered the dance. Crazy because the entire time we’ve been here I’d forgotten about it. Guess I’m curious how it turned out. If it was nice. This was kinda my way of avoiding that without even realizing it.
There came a long pause.
Franklin. Tell me the truth,” you said softly, breaking the comfortable silence.
“Alright. Hit me. What you wanna know.”
“You planned this, didn’t you? You were never gonna come this way. Be here tonight by yourself. Like you said in the car.”
“Huh,” he laughed. “For real, yeah, I was. I love doing things by myself like this, all the time.”
“Franklin….”
He threw his hands up toward the sky. “Okay, so I took a detour on the way to your house. Damn, can a nigga do a nice thing?”
You sighed and smiled. “Okay, I just. I didn’t want you to feel sorry for me, is all. Like you were obligated or anything.”
He shifted slightly closer, the space between you both shrinking.
“You still want me to be honest.”
The air tingled with a charge that both excited and frightened you. Your heart raced faster than all the rides combined.
“Yeah,” you answered, wondering what he would say.
“I was very much obligated.”
“So I'm basically a charity case. Got you,” you held your breath, stomach fluttering with indifference.
Franklin looked over at you, his gaze filled with something you hadn’t seen in him before. Something deeper.
“Okay. So let me clean that up with some context.”
You looked at him. The frown waning from your lips.
“I saw you,” he began, “a little before you made your way to the dumpster. I was following behind just to make sure you were good. I don’t know what it was, but the way you were holding on to that dress hit me somewhere right here.” He touched his chest over the place where his heart sat.
Surprised by how deeply his words resonated, your eyes began to water.
“You made it seem like it wasn’t that big a deal during the car ride, but you really wanted to go,” he said. His own eyes, warm and sincere.
A silence fell over the conversation for a brief moment, punctuated only by the gentle swaying of the ferris wheel.
“Yeah,” you breathed. “I did.” You moved the teddy bear and let your hands sit in your lap. “It’s stupid. But I always thought girls like that were so elegant. The ones who got to go to dances. I thought I looked real good in the dress, too. Not trying to be funny. But I imagined myself a princess with it on. I imagined that he would find a nice suit to match it. I would walk down these long sets of stairs. And people would look at me like I belong there. They’d whisper. Who’s that? I wanna meet that young woman. After that my favorite song would come on, and Darnell would take my hand and bring me to the dance floor. And it would be like everyone disappeared, except him and the music. Maybe we’d laugh a little, looking into each other’s eyes for too long, but it would be our moment.”
Franklin reached for your hand and searched your eyes for answers that had no words. Then with a reluctant nod, he lifted his chin and stared up at the night.
You pulled the bear closer and pressed your face in its softness. “My Mama always said I dream too much. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed myself. I’m glad you made the detour,” you admitted.
Realizing he’d pulled you closer, suddenly the world around you blurred. Franklin leaned in, and you welcomed the gentle kiss he’d placed on your cheek before he snaked an arm around you.
Darnell but not Darnell.
Pretty quickly the moment passed of being so close to heaven. The wheel began to turn again, the descent followed and there was nothing you could do to stop it.
…
As you climbed out of the gondola, you could feel Franklin’s gaze linger on you.
“Wait Beanz,” he said softly, stepping closer.
You stopped, but didn’t turn to face him. Emotion came from nowhere and locked your baby blue canvas flats to the surface. Like being stuck in cement.
He’d taken the stuffed bear. You weren’t certain where he’d sat the toy down when he brought his arms around you, bringing you into a hug you hadn’t expected.
“You’re gonna be okay.”
Scary how he could read your thoughts. The daunting question knocked in the back of your brain the entire night. You raised your hands up and pressed palms against his back to strengthen the embrace while his cologne danced on your senses. The amusement park’s vibrant chaos faded into a muted backdrop. The gravity of the earlier moment hanging. Such a sensitive part of yourself had been revealed, but the truth kept coming, more and more.
“It’s crazy that in the entire time I was with him,” you countered, feeling the stirrings of anger and vulnerability. “None of that ever felt like tonight. Tried so hard to be perfect for him. Be what he wanted. I was blind Frank, I couldn’t see what kind of messed up relationship I was in, despite the warnings. But yet, I’m still sad it’s over. What sense can be made of that? Maybe I’m fooling myself. Maybe it’s really just the fear of being alone.”
The song in the above speaker over a section of the park shifted, becoming a soft ballad, inviting a different kind of intimacy.
Golden touch, it happens every time your lips touch mine, there’s a feeling that’s so divine, there’s a magic in you...
“Why you crying?” Franklin asked.
A place on his shirt had become wet with your tears.
“Cause this is my favorite song,” you answered back with a shaky breath.
Why would it be playing right at the current place and time you found yourself? Some cruel joke? Golden touch, I wasn’t very strong till you came along. You made me realize that by your side, is where I belong…
“Dance with me,” Franklin whispered.
His statement caught you off guard.
“So what if it’s not quite like you imagined it would be. You believe you need a dress, but you don’t. Remember, Cinderella was still Cinderella without it by the end of the story. It's not quite midnight. We got some time to make a dream come true.”
At first, hesitation held you back, but as the music surged, a bubble of spontaneity welled up inside. Franklin sang the next part of the song, maybe as a form of encouragement. He was a horrible singer, that much was certain. Rose Royce might even sue him for slander if he ever decided to do anything publicly embarrassing with their music, but it kept your attention. You giggled, not out of obligation but from the sense of freedom, and let him lead you into the rhythm of a dance. You and Franklin moved together, his hands warm on your waist, your growing smile blending perfectly with the melody. He spun you around, making you weightless as you twirled under the twinkling lights. You swayed slowly, lost in his gaze. The noise of the amusement park dulled into a background hum, leaving you in the midst. A flutter of uncertainty washed through you. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, you found yourself having confidence in the potential of something new.
But this was Franklin Saint, someone you had grown up with, Leon’s best friend!
Then, it all replaced by an overwhelming sense of rightness. The weight of the breakup slipped away, and you let yourself float on some unseen cloud. The world became insignificant. Caught in the moment, you leaned, so close you could feel his breath warm against your skin. Before you had the chance to contemplate the consequences, Franklin closed the distance and softly pressed his lips to yours. Contingent at first, but the kiss deepened, and a wave of butterflies enveloped you. This new thing, bright and sparkling.
You separated your lips from his. The world came rushing back. The sounds, the lights, reality, but Franklin’s hand found its way to your cheek, cradling your face as if to anchor you back in. You wondered what he was thinking. Your own thoughts swirled with confusion and curiosity. What might be going through his mind? What he felt. His steady gaze met yours, riddled with the same determination he held when trying to win the prize for you. Something shifted in the atmosphere as the weight of unsaid words lingered.
“Franklin,” you whispered.
The intensity made your pulse quicken. He closed his eyes and so did you. His lips met yours a second time. Your heart raced. Delightful, the kiss tested the waters of possibility. It deepend, tender and sweet. A lingering moment where nothing else mattered. But just as you melted into the possibility to explore more of him, the harsh sound of your brother’s voice shattered the moment. Your heart sank. The spell of the occasion broke, leaving in its wake a swirling chaos of questions. You pulled away from Franklin, suddenly feeling the weight of Leon’s gaze on you. Just like that, the magic faded.
Leon’s slurred words echoed across the rise as he stumbled into view, a goofy grin plastered across his face. His eyes, barely focused, settled on Franklin, narrowing with a protective instinct that only older brother’s could possess.
“Aye, the hell you doing here Beanz? Saint? Fucks going on?”
You could smell the liquor on his breath, pungent and strong. Clearly he’d had the same kind of night you did, only he thought about Wanda Bell, his ex-girlfriend. You wondered if Eva knew she’d been a means to fill that void somehow. The first time you ever saw Leon cry over a woman. A thing you would keep secret all the way to the grave. You knew he loved Wanda. Really loved her.
“Leon, it’s not what it looks like-” You began, but the mixture of concern and drunkenness in his expression cut you off.
“Well then maybe y'all would like to explain. Explain Why you have me drop you off at that nigga Darnell’s house if you wasn’t gonna be at that dance tonight.”
Your heart raced, torn between the urge to defend Franklin and the obligation to Leon’s suspicions. You glanced back at Franklin, whose expression was a blend of disappointment and concern.
You hesitated. “It's kinda a long story Lee. One I don't think you're really up for right now,” you said quietly, wishing you had the courage to close the distance.
“Oh, damn it, Leon! There you are,” Eva cried, running up in her yellow jumpsuit. “Sorry. He's drunk. Got away from me.”
“What happened,” Franklin's voice chimed in from behind.
“A long island iced tea. Couple shots of vodka. Jin probably, after that I stopped paying attention. He just kept ordering.”
“Leon…” you started, the aftermath of the kiss lingering over your lips.
“Why you ain't stop him Eva?”
She folded her arms.
“Oh yeah right Franklin, stop him? Sure. You know better than anybody, Leon doesn't listen to no one but Leon.”
“Mama's gonna cuss you out coming in her house all drunk. You better hope she sleep.”
Leon shrugged. His eyes drooped as he sucked in air. “Man, so what. She act like I'm the only one who drink. Besides, she might be more concerned with why you weren't at that damn dance tonight.”
“Okay okay, come on let's get you back. I'll drive us.”
“Naw fuck that, no body drive ma’ shit but me, I got it.”
Franklin closed his eyes a second and exhaled a breath. “Lee man. Let Eva drive. Get home in one piece.” The sound of his beeper made him peer down down at his belt.
“Uh huh. In one piece. Who’s that Saint?”
Franklin's eyes traveled over the number. “Not your concern right now. Go home. Get some rest. Peaches can go with me if it becomes necessary.”
Leon chucked, then offered Franklin a glare. “If it becomes necessary. Nigga what?”
“Okay okay it's fine. Let's go. Bye Franklin. Have yourself a goodnight.” Eva rushed to Leon, who swayed alarmingly close to the edge of the pavement. “Lee, c’mon. Let’s get you some water and get to the car.”
Leon nodded. “Yeah Saint. We gon’ talk tomorrow so keep yo shit nearby cuz imma damn sho’ page you when I wake up. We family nigga, but ma lil sister need ta’ be the one thing off limits to you. No exceptions. Drunk or not, I'll still beat yo’ ass.”
“Yeah,” Franklin brought on a quick grin that faded out as he placed his hands behind his back and raised his chin. “Okay. Night Lee.”
Leon huffed, a snarl pulled his lip. “Hm, yeah, night motherfuckea’, you think I'm bullshitin’. Bring yo hot ass on, Beanz.”
You offered a glare to his comment. “My hot ass? Seriously Leon?”
“You heard what the fuck I said, let's go!”
You rolled your eyes, but didn't argue. The same temper your mother gifted you would only hold out so long in your brother. As you made your way through the park, you stole glances back at Franklin, who watched you leave, an unreadable expression on his face. The connection lingered in the air like the scent of fireworks, but now it felt distant, almost like a dream you were walking from too fast.
When the three of you made it to Leon's Buick Regal, only then had you realized you'd left the stuffed animal Franklin had won for you behind. Probably the only real emblem that such a night ever existed between you both.
The entire car ride back Eva had a finger pressed at the side of her forehead, indication of a bursting headache on the rise. Leon, who hadn't stopped talking, became repetitive in the reasons why falling for one of his homeboys was entirely out of the question. You hadn't heard a word. The only thing that danced on your thoughts was the Ferris wheel, your favorite song, a cotton candy kiss, and Franklin Saint.
A/N: This one was fun to write. I couldn’t help it. At first I wasn’t going to bother. I mean RoackABye Saint was a ONE SHOT work that could stand alone so it didn’t require a sequel, but then the idea just started screaming at me to jot it down, and I was like, why not give the readers a look at what happened before that fateful day. So this is what you have my friends. I wonder if ya’ll feelings will change reading this one and then going back to read RockBye Saint now that you know what happened. Was he wrong, or was it a little more complex a situation? You be the judge. Happy reading Saintettes!

You're walking down the inside of the street and Frankie's eyes are peeled open looking everywhere and a car slowly passes by you both, Frankie steps in front of you shielding your body as the car keeps driving, he takes a deep breath and touches your hand “I hope Leon is okay baby?” you look up at him, tears swelling up in your eyes and then you break down. You couldn’t stop crying, feeling your breath going too fast for you “Breathe baby, you need to breathe, Lee is going to be okay.” your gasp. “Seeing Leon in all of that blood, I couldn’t stop thinking about you if that ever happened to you.” he leans into you, putting his soft lips on you “That’s never going to happen, you know these little niggas know not to fuck with me.” your breathing starts slowing down finally breathing through your nose “We should probably go home I know your momma is waiting for you.” you kiss Frankie once more and start walking down your street.
Entering your house and seeing your momma sitting on the couch in her moomoo, she runs towards you and wraps your arms around you “O my god baby I was so worried about you Marla called me at work and I heard you were at the station because of Leon.” you put your head down, feeling your tears coming back and really start sobbing and you couldn’t stop, just tears streaming down your face “I think I should go take a shower.” “Do you want me to help you?” shaking your head no “It’s okay momma I think I just need to get clean and go to sleep goodnight momma.” “Goodnight baby.” you kiss your momma on the cheek and walk toward to your bathroom, turning on the faucet so the water can get hot and you took off your clothes off and grabbing your shower cap to put it on then stepping into the tub, feeling your bones aching under the pressure and looking down to see blood coming off you and draining into the sink. Not wanting to think about it again and grabbing your washcloth to get it wet and grab your soap and washing it together, washing you whole body including you feet and once you rinse down you turned off the faucet, drying yourself off and wrapping it around you, doing your skincare routine and brushing your teeth, you step out into your room. Closing the door behind you, changing into your pj’s and wrapping your hair and getting under the covers feeling your body relaxing under the sheets and opening your eyes to your closet.
You hear your momma leaving the house without saying goodbye to you and going to work, you continue to rest your eyes feeling yourself fall back to sleep and then a knock erupts on your window standing up to see who is knocking on your window this early in the morning, pulling you blinds a part to see Frankie smiling at you, he was wearing a light brown shirt with khakis pants and black adidas, his shirt is making his chocolate skin pop even more, you open the window “Nigga why is you knockin’ on my window this early.” He smiles even more “Good morning to you too baby.” he grips the bannister to steps into your room, stepping back to give him room “I was gonna go to the mall today to get Lee some new sneaks. And I want to apologize to you about the way I was actin’ last night it wasn’t right.” Nodding your head “I forgive you baby I know what you’re doing is a lot to handle, but you can’t be actin’ like that anymore.” “You right baby, thank you aight get dress we need to leave. I don't want any the shoes be gone because of you.” rolling your eyes “Whatever nigga.” you kiss his lips and Frankie walks into the closet to grab his backpack he’s just holding on to the straps and sits on the bed and you change into a blue crop top stopping at your hips and booty shorts and white shoes and you take off bonnet, grabbing your pick to push your curls up and out. “Aye let’s go back to my place so I can drop off my bag.” “Alright baby let’s go.”
Making to Lee’s house in the projects Frankie walks in first, seeing Lee’s siblings doing katare in the family room he busts in doing fake moves with the kids and fake losing with the little boy “Alright alright you win hmmm y’all want to get some candy.” the kids jump excitedly and scream, Frankie hands them a twenty dollar bill “Aye bring me some lemonheads.” Lee is laying on the couch with a bandage on his leg with boxers and a muscle shirt “You a lemonhead.” coming from the little boy “Sup Frank sup Lexi.” Frankie walks closer to Lee to show him a fresh pair of sneaks “Hazard pay.” Lee looks at him “What about my shirt?” Frankie looks confuse “I’m just fuckin’ with you.” you all giggle “Nigga you stupid.” you both sit the the smaller couch looking at this old Bruce Lee movie “How you feeling Lee.” he looks at you “I’m gonna need another hit of them happy pills soon. Then I ain’t gonna hear shit what yo nigga gotta say mmhmm so when we mackin’ our move?” Frankie takes a breath “Mhmm workin’ on it man.” Lee smacks his lips “I could still step to a motherfucka right now.” you giggle “Nigga you can’t even step.” they both laugh at your joke “Them niggas always riding together.”Lee sits up “Not when they rolled up on me, just Lenny .” “Nahh that can’t be right.” “Nigga don’t tell me. I was there.” “He’s right. When I went outside I only saw Lenny leaving in his car.” Seeing the gears turning in Frankie's head coming up with a plan “Man you gonna be able to do this shit without me?” “I can’t lie man having you on the bench ain’t ideal.” “Well look it ain’t about pay back alright? It’s about rep you gotta let these niggas know right here right now we offical ‘cause you don’t motherfuckas gonna be comin’ at us alright?” Nodding his head know he’s to come up with a plan to get rid of Lenny.
Large warehouse that the music bumping there was two guards standing out in front “We just need to talk to claudia.” the two guards give you both a pat down and one of them nods his head and let’s you in the building walking into section to see people dancing and doing drugs in the corner there was young women with tiny clothes on looking at the man to give them some money, walking up the steps to see a light-skin women with long locs out in a bun, she was wearing a long green and blue swirl dress with flip flops “Thank you Wayne and hmm what do we have hear who’s this Franklin?” the women walks up to you to object you “This is Lexi she’s my girlfriend.” the woman looks surprised “Girlfriend? If I knew you this was your girlfriend I would gotten her first my name’s Claudia.” he steps closer to you “Claudia I need you to set up a sit down with Ray-Ray.” she puffs “A sit down nigga you’ve been watch to many movies and if I do want do get in return?” he looks perpexled “What do you want?” she smirks “Mhmmm what do you think?” and turns to you, slowly backing away from her “What if you get Louie?” trying to make a deal without you in it “Mhmmm okay but I want her to come here tonight.” nodding his head “Deal I’ll let her know.” he puts his hand up to shake and she agrees.
You both were waiting for Ray-Ray to come in this old burger shack right down the street from you, sitting in a booth “What if he doesn’t show up.” “Ohh he’ll be here I know Claudia talked to him.” he arm extended on the armrest and he did, coming in and seeing you both and takes a seat in front of you “So Claudia laid it all out?” “Yeah she laid it all out, what you think was going to happen? beat down my homie, fuck up his place.” Frankie smirks and points at his scar above his brow “You see that I was beat down first and we weren’t the ones who did to him.” Ray-Ray scoffs “Yeah, well we took care of them HTB arcade niggas.” “You know matter of fact our next neighbor is a cop, said he saw two guys scopin’ out my place and he’s tracking them down right now.” Ray-Ray laughs not believing “That’s how it’s goin’ down? you snitch motherfucka?” and cop walks in to order his food Ray-Ray becomes uncomfortable “If you’re lookin’ for some type of truce, you’re in the wrong place.” ‘No, no, no, no no truce.” Ray-Ray looking confused “Then what the fuck is we doin’ here?” Frankie leans in “We gonna talk business. Because that’s what it’s about right? Money?” you all still continue talking about Lenny and thirty minutes after Ray-Ray left the burger shack, you and Frankie were looking at Ray-Ray's car driving off to the streets.
Frankie stops in front of the payphone and digs in his pockets to grab some quarters and puts them in the slot, picks up the phone and dial a number “Sup Rob what’chu doin?....huh..well I was calling you to see if we can crash at your place.” hearing another voice coming through the phone “Ohh well I was going to have my girl come over if that’s cool, oh shit really aight I’ll see you in ten minutes.” he hangs up the phone and turns to you “His parents are outta town this weekend, so we’ll kinda of have a place to our self.”
A blue pickup truck stops in front of you and the window rolls down and seeing a white boy with shaggy brown hair “Sup Frankie.” Frankie walks to the car “Sup man, come on baby.” you enter first and the white boy sticks out his hand wanting to shake yours “Heyy I’m Rob, nice to meet you.” and you shake his hand “Hiii I’m Lexi-” “Now baby why won’t you tell him your real name.” you roll your eyes “My real name is Alexia.” “That's a very pretty name Lexi.” Frankie closes the door in the backseat with you and Rob starts driving off to his house.
Rob pulls up to a gated community and enters in the pincode, passing through gates you duck your head to look at the beautiful mansions with palm trees and large front lawns “Woow, look at the one Frankie.” pointing your finger at a large all white house and a dark green double doors he ducks his head next to yours “Yeah it is baby, coming home to you in a house like that with little minis me and you together.” Rob pulls up to his long driveway with large bushes leading up to the house he parks in front of his house, the lights were still on. Frankie steps out first and holds the door for you, stepping out as well to seeing little peeks coming from you, Rob walks towards the house and unlocks it and goes first and you look all around you from the large chandelier hanging above you, to the sexual art hanging on the wall and a large a tiger rug running across the family room “Rob is this house is amazing, what do your parents do for a living?” Rob chuckles at you “My parents work in adult entertainment, like they do porn.” whipping your head so fast with your eyes bulging out Frankie is touching his neck and rubbing it slowly “I’m guessing Frankie hasn’t told you about that side hmh?” “No he didn’t. Not that I’m not judging at all, I'm just surprised.” “Your good Lexi here let me show y’all your room.” Rob walks up the stairs, you both follow and enter to a large hallway with multiple doors and entering a bedroom and turning on the lights to see with a large king sized bed with dark sheets and white pillows, plants roaming in the corners of the room and a full length mirror in the corner facing the bed “There’s a bathroom in here and fresh towels and clothes too.” Frankie daps up on Rob “Thanks man I appreciate it.” Rob pulls him in and pats his back “Anytime brother, my room is across the hallway, y’all have good night.” and that Rob had left.
You both step out of the shower and drying your body on the shelf was a bottle of lotion, starting with your arms, to your chest, to your legs and feet Frankie grabs the bottle and squirt some in his hand and rub it together, he starts at your shoulders, rubbing it in your skin and to your mid-back and finally to your ass “That feel good baby.” his fingers digging on your ass, you nodded “Fuck baby yess.” his hands move up to your waist “Bend over for me baby I wanna see you what I do to you in front of this mirror huh.” you look up to see Frankie staring at you, he grabs your thigh to lay in on the counter he squats down to be eye level with your pussy and feeling your lips being spread open “Mhmm your pussy is soo perfect you drippin’ for me already.” His lips latch onto you his tongue spreading you everywhere, gripping the counter and your eyes back “Frankie fuck oh shit baby.” feeling your leg falling asleep and slowly putting it down, a large hand grips the back of your thigh “Don’t you fuckin’ dare, put that fuckin’ leg back up.” groans coming out your mouth “Frankieee.” you look back at him seeing him on his knees, he gives you an assuring smile “You be aight, let me just make you feel good.” and goes right back to your pussy and holding your thigh up, laying back down on the cool countertop hearing Frankie sucking at your clit, pecking at your lips he drags his tongue up to your crack, his hands grabbing at your globes to spread them apart, you jolt up when you felt hot spit touching your rim passing down to your pussy, Frankie collects the spit and push in your pussy, fingers working you in and out over and over and over, Frankie returns to your ass eating you like it’s your pussy your moans erupting out of your mouth “Ohh baby fuck daddy, I feel so good.” “You feel so good babygirl, why do you feel so good babygirl?” you groan “YOU it’s be-cause of yo-uu.” “Then show me how good daddy makes you feel good.” his tongue working down to your pussy and flicking your clit back and forth “Oh fuck.” your thighs were shaking screaming out your groans “Fuckfuckfuck baby ughh.” “That’s it, baby nut on my face.” feeling yourself cumming and wetting all over his face, his pulls out his fingers and still kissing your pussy “I could eat you all day.” he stands up and puts his hips to your ass and grabs your chin to look at him and puts his fingers in your mouth. Frankie dick sliding in between your cheeks, pulling his fingers away from you to your hips and pulling your back, he leans forward to pull you up to look at yourself “Look at me when I slide it in baby huh, can you do that for daddy?” nodding, wanting to feel him inside of you.
The stretch always felt different for you feeling Frankie sliding inside of you, you both moan when Frankie hips touch your ass and sliding out and back in “Fuck baby I got you this wet huh.” you rest your head on his shoulder, kissing his neck “Yes daddy fuck you’re fucking me soo ughh fuckkk dad-dyy.” his hand slides up to touch your breast kneading so rough, grunts coming from him “You so fuckin’ tight, suckin’ me in babygirl.” he smacks your ass “Mmhm you like this shit don’t you huh you gettin’ wetter by the second mm-mmhm.” he moves his hand up to your neck, his large fingers gripping the sides of you, you start to lose yourself with your breath being cut off and your eyes rolling in the back of your head and biting your lip, feeling the wetness running down “Open your eyes for daddy, babygirl.” opening them to see Frankie smirking at you,a tear rolling down your face “Why you cryin’ babygirl?” you moan in his mouth and grabbing his neck to pull in for a kiss, it was nasty feeling his tongue sliding in your mouth his lips overpowering you like he was taking your soul “Dad-dy I’mm-m gonna cumm.” he kisses you while stroking your cheek “You need to look at yourself first babygirl, you need to see how good you mackin’ daddy feel right now.” your eyes drift down to look at yourself, you look a mess. You start to close your eyes and Frankie leans down to your ear “You open your eyes. right. fuckin’. now.” his strokes hitting with every word, screams coming out of you and eyes move to Frankie seeing him in all his glory, like looking at a king he nods his head and smiles at you “What’s the matter baby? Are you about to nut babygirl? You wanna nut on big daddy’s dick, don’tchu you wanna get me wet huh.” you feel your pussy gush to the words of Frankie “Oh fuck daddy.” he smacks your ass “You like this nasty shit, I know you, you about to nut aint’chu.” Your leg has completely fallen asleep, but you didn’t give two shits about that right now your stomach tightens feeling yourself to cum “Yesss I-I doo dad-dyyy.” “Then do it then babygirl nut on this dick right now I know, babygirl I know.” and you do and you look at your man the whole time, Frankie was biting his supple bottom lip, his sexy brown eyes and his scrumptious chocolate skin then pumps a few strokes in you then explodes inside of you “Oh-hh fucc-kk bab-ygirl, I can’t get enough of you fuck.” he leans in close to grab your cheeks and gives you long wet kiss. “I’m sleepyyy daddyyy.” he nods his head “Okay babygirl, let’s get you to bed.” slowly pulling out of you and cum oozing out of you “I can’t feel my legs I feel like a noodle.” Frankie lifts you up in his arms, picking you up like a feather. “Then I did my job then huh.” He walks over to the bed and move the sheets back then lays you gently on the bed and kisses on the head “Good night babygirl, don’t let the bed bugs bite.” you smile and crank your neck “And if you do, get your shoes and you wack them until there black and blue.” he giggles “I didn't know there was a part two to that.” Frankie climbs in the bed with you, pulling you into his strong arms “Good night baby.” “Good babygirl.”
You get dropped off with Frankie, Rob parks his blue and black pickup truck in front of Jerome's place and you grab the door handle “Thank you Rob for dropping us off.” you open the door and taking a step on the sidewalk “Yeah thanks man, for letting us crash at your place.” he pats Rob on the shoulder “Anytime brother and give Leon my best.” Frankie steps out the truck and closes the door “Oh don’t forget, up there to the left it’s the freeway, don’t get lost again.” Rob pulls off to drive up to the freeway, you both walk inside to see Jerome counting a table full of money “Ayee Good morning nephew and good morning Lexi.” you both say good morning Jerome and Louie walks in with her with her teacup and takes a seat “Still going good huh?” Frankie askes Jerome “Better than good nephew, and I don’t know why you sleeping at that white boy house like we ain’t got a perfectly good couch.” Louie smirks at his statement “I think you answered your own question.” You tried to hold in your laugh as Frankie chuckles and your both take you your seats “Look we need to re-up on this powder.” Jerome still counting the money “No problem.” “You got any idea where we gon’ cook up this next batch.” Frankie eyes shift to look at the kitchen, Jerome takes a double take “I know you ain’t just look at my kitchen like you plan to use it, we gonna rent a place some place we can store it and cook the product.” and Louie gets a few hundred dollars “Louie I’ma put you on that.” Louie put the money in her bra “Boy we need to talk turkey.” “I feel the product’s price is right.” Jerome lips pull in a grin “I ain’t talkin’ bout the product. Now when you first came to me you said wanted to split this down the middle fifty-fifty.” Frankie scoffs at Jerome “Then what do you do huh? You turn me away, I ain’t given’ half away now.” Jerome laughs “Now I’m earnin’ if not them knuckleheads that y’all be runnin’ around with.” Jerome points at the both of you “And I can set your narrow ass straight.”
Frankie did not breaking his concentration “It’s my connect, my product, my process. I've already got Lexi, Lee, and Kev to take care.” he grabs a stack of cash and start counting “I’ve can give y’all ten percent.” Jerome haggles for forty percent “Twenty percent and that’s even pushin’ it.” Frankie smiles at his unc, Jerome chuckles “Twenty-five percent then we straight.” “Deal.” Frankie shakes hands Jerome “Ayee that’s my family right there! Move that. I’ma take a shit y’all keep countin’ that.” Jerome stands to walk to the bathroom Frankie turns to Louie “Ray-Ray thinkin’ on it, should know soon.” Louie sits up “Either way you gon’ take care of me right.” he nods his head “I gotchu you.” Louie looks deeper at Frankie “What about you? You alright? You juggling a lot of shit, you doin’ okay.” he lays his head on his hands and gives Louie a quick “Mhm.” and stares of into the distance.
You goes home and sees her momma’s car parked outside on the side driveway, you walk inside of the house to see your momma watching an old black exploitation movie “Where have you been Alexia? I’ve been waiting for you to come home last night! I thought you were hurt or killed somewhere.” you put your head down “I’m sorry momma I went to the hospital to go see Lee and I just got lost at the time and then I just stayed at Shon-Shon for the night.” she stands up to hug you pulling you in her arms “Well next time you wanna do something like that, you call me, don’t keep me in the dark I even bought you a pager for you, so don’t try not to lose this one this time.” “Thank you momma and Shon-Shon wants me to sleepover over at her house again and I’ll page you if something happens I promise.” Looking down at black pager with a sparkly pink case and a clip bend it, you kiss your momma on the cheek and thanked her walking to your room to pack a bag and changed into a white shirt and washed out jeans then before you left you saying goodbye and walked to Jerome’s house.
Pulling up to Avi’s place it had a tall gold gate that covered the front of the mansion it opens, Jerome pulls in to park in the corner of the driveway you, Frankie, Jerome, and Kev step out of the car, Frankie grabs his backpack “Okay y’all be cool, aight this motherfucka is crazy.” there was four men with all slicked back hair and large guns and you all spread your arms to get your pat down once your cleared you walked inside of the house everyone had ak-47’s and glocks on their hips. Avi wearing a versace tan shirt with khakis and gold shoes walks up to Frankie to give him a hug and shakes Jerome and Kev's hands then kisses your hand “Come, let’s go sit by the pool.” proceeding to the pool, there a large fountain in the corner and even a massive pool and a big slide on the side of the pool, you and Frankie take a seat with Avi, Frankie opens his backpack to hand Avi twelve stacks of money. Avi starts counting the money and since they were smaller bills he had to start over and over and over. It was so comical to you seeing Avi getting frustrated with money, Jerome is looking at everything “What’s up with these crates?” Avi looks up “What crates?” Jerome points down “These crates?” and Avi realized he lost his count “Motherfucker! YUDA!” and hands the gunman the money “Did you know Franklin saved Yuda’s life.” “No.” you and Jerome both say “It’s true..yeah he’s a good boy, so everytime he comes here. I offer him a drink, some snort, some pink he always says no.” You turn your head to see Kev putting his hand in the water, you take your pointer finger to say ‘come here’ to Kev, he walks up to the table “Shiit I’m good with any of those.” picking up the champagne bottle “Well I didn’t offer to you did I?” Avi turns to Frankie “The fuck you bring them here for?” “Told you. Business is ramping up. Means we’re gonna buy more, pay upfront that also means I might not be here to be making these runs.” Avi shakes his head “Noo it’s you I like, I trust, you put on the vest.”
The gunman says something in hebrew and Avi agrees the gunman walks away “Y’know Avi since you know we buyin in bulk, how do we do bit better on that price.” you and Frankie sit up “What?” coming from Avi, Jerome takes a seat next to Avi “I know you started the boy at twelve and how about how you shave a little off that price.” Avi’s realizing “Oh ohh maybe or maybe I’ll shave your eyebrows off your face and tell you to eat a donkey’s dick.” Frankie sticks out his hand “Come on Avi.” Avi grabs Frankie “And from now on it’s going to be thirteen a key.” the gunman comes back with two keys in his hands and sets them on the table Avi gives Frankie the two keys, he puts them in his backpack and closes the bag “Now get the fuck out.” Walking down the driveway “I told y’all to be cool.” Frankie walking in front with his hands in his pockets “Hey man it ain’t our fault the dude is crazy.” Kev says “Hey man he’s more than crazy, motherfucka racist.” Frankie stops and turns “It doesn’t matter unless y’all know where I can get pure product then Avi’s our guy.” Jerome taps Frankie shoulder “Look he has to be getting it somewhere and it’s much less than twelve a key and we get someone to scope out his place, get right to the source.” Frankie turns to walk to the car “Can’t just sit out and scope out his place, we’ll be arrested in five minutes.” “You right we can’t, but you know someone who can.” Rob can easily scope out Avi’s place.
Louie unlocks the door to an empty house with wood floors and a lamp in the corner with archway to the kitchen “Hey man this place is dope, I mean a few couches, some lava lamps and a big screen tv, hey we could have a waterbed in this motherfucka too.” Kev claps his hands “This ain’t no bachelor pad, it’s a good damn cook house, just calm yo ass down.” you put your hand on Kev’s shoulder and smile at him “Maybe we could a couple couches Kev.” Frankie walks in the kitchen, turning on the stove “We need to get the gas on, right away the stove is the whole point.” “Can get it done as early as tomorrow.” Frankie pager goes off and looks at it “Ray-Ray.” You, Frankie and Jerome walk to the car.
Jerome parks his car next to a oil well and leaving his lights on and few minutes later Ray-Ray pulls up and step out the car “I didn’t know y’all were bringing somebody.” Frankie steps forward “Just my uncle, hold up your end, you ain’t got nothin’ to worry about.” “Just be clear, I’m not the bitch here, whatever the fuck y’all did to Lenny really fucked him up, would’ve got us all killed.” Frankie nods his head “We know , you’re doin’ the right thing….get him out.” Jerome walks up to Ray-Ray “I’ma help you.” As Jerome walked away, you see the nervousness coming off Frankie. He puts his hands on the car and you pull him in for a quick kiss “You can do this baby.” Frankie told you what him and Lee talked about taking care his family his kinfolk and most importantly you. “Get yo ass up..Get up.” Jerome and Ray-Ray carry Lenny to sit him down in between the cars so he can see you and Frankie, Jerome holds Lenny in a chokehold “Motherfuckin’ Judas’s.” Ray-Ray looks at Frankie “All right we good?” Frankie walks closer to Ray-Ray “Afraid we ain’t, need to know word of this shit never gon leave this spot.” Frankie opens a switchblade “Nah man fuck that-man you told me to bring him here.” “Either you do it so I know you’ll keep your mouth shut or you’ll both be dead.” Frankie throws the blade to Ray-Ray “That wasn’t the deal.” you spoke “Well it’s the deal now.” Lenny is pleading with Ray-Ray “Come on Ray-Ray.” Frankie smiles “Hey man I understand this ain’t an easy ask..I know.” Frankie tosses a stack of cash to Ray-Ray “Plenty more where where that came from, we can use men who know how to handle theyself. Future could be bright.” Ray-Ray picks up the blade and walks towards Lenny “Hey man don’t you do this shit man, come on man.” Ray-Ray grips the blade tighter “I told you to let this shit go.” “Man you ain’t never gonna forget this shit, you won’t and you know it nigga.” Jerome opens up Lenny’s neck, Ray-Ray is still not moving, Frankie pulls his gun and pointed at the back of Ray-Ray head “Come on Ray-Ray.” Lenny is begging for his life “Look at me Ray-Ray, please look at me.” Frankie screams “Do it mothfucka!” Ray-Ray yells “Alright! Alright!” Ray-Ray walks up to Lenny and slices his throat, Jerome steps back to not get blood on his clothes. Lenny’s blood is running down his shirt and spilling on the dirt he’s became silence then the light leaving his eyes and becoming a lifeless soul.
“For Leon motherfucka.” Frankie whispers, he puts his gun under his belt “You ever wanna make some ends, you know where to find me.” and walks back to the car and opens the car for you to get in, once you got in, you share a quick look with Jerome and you both just look at Frankie, seeing in that state that he was so angry and relieve to be getting Lee’s lick back then Jerome drives off to leave Ray-Ray to dig for Lenny’s body.

I’m never drinking again.
The pounding in my head makes me feel like a military missel just rocketed itself into my temple. I groan, wincing slightly at the raw sensation in my throat. My eyes flutter open, adjusting to the soft light from the sunrise.
I look at the clock to the right of my nightstand and I am happy to see it’s only 4 a.m. I typically have weekends off from President’s Daughter duty, so I’m grateful for the extra time to sleep in.
I don’t even remember getting up here if I'm honest. Deciding to deal with it later, I slowly shift in the bed. I allow my eyes to close again, flipping to the other side. I sigh, trying to get comfortable when the nausea kicks in.
I inhale a sharp deep breath when I feel a warm hand creeping under my shirt. I moan and melt into the soft circles being rubbed into my back by the physical heating pad. Wait, did I go home with someone?
My body immediately fills with panic thinking about the possibility of a stranger being in my bed. I almost scream when I pry my eyes open and see a sleepy Meredith peering back at me.
My eyes widen and my breathing quickens. I mean, I’m into girls and guys, so it’s plausible we hooked up. “Did we?” I ask, nervous to lift the blankets to see the state of my clothing.
“No,” Meredith sighs, returning her hand to its place on my back.
I groan, shifting in Meredith's hold. “What the fuck happened?” I whisper, burrowing my face deeper into her armpit.
“That prick Teddy roofied you. Apparently, he and Vanessa had a bet. She’s definitely not hanging with us anymore. You don’t remember anything?” Meredith inquires, continuing to rub my back.
I inhale a sharp breath. “No, but I feel fine.” Then, I exhale, pushing on the mattress to sit up. I rub my eyes, attempting to clear the sleep out of them. “How did we get here?” I ask the blonde.
“Michael came to tell us you were leaving and I was ready to be done but Kendall wanted to go hook up with someone,” Meredith pauses and I grimace, attempting to shove the bile down my throat. “Vanessa wanted to stay so I left my guards with them, figuring Michael would keep the two of us safe,” she continues.
I pat the bed for my phone and sure enough, when I find it, it’s dead. “And then, get this. It’s the best part. He made me hold you in position while he shoved his fingers down your throat. You ate a lot tonight, girlie,” the events of the night flow into my eardrums through Meredith’s excellent storytelling.
“Wait,” I pause Meredith mid-story, “He didn’t tell you I was roofied until we were gone?” I ask, quite frankly confused as fuck.
I lift the blankets off of me, sliding out of the bed. Picking up my robe from the footboard bench, I shrug it onto my body. “Mmhm, said something about taking care of it himself,” I hear Meredith murmur.
When the words register, the blood drains from my body. “Oh, no. Mer,” I curse, quietly.
My body slowly turns around in an attempt to keep myself calm. “What?” Meredith tilts her head and asks.
I put my hands out on the duvet in front of me, leaning into the mattress. “Did you tell him about Vanessa and Teddy?” I ask Meredith. Hopefully, she didn’t and Michael is in the next room asleep. If she did, the worst-case scenario is he’s already killed them.
A puzzled look washes over Meredith's face and she looks up at the ceiling as if the answer is up there. “Yeah, he wouldn’t stop asking questions on the way back,” she tells me and my world shatters. “Do you know you snore?” she continues, unphased.
My dinner from last night threatens to come up as I think of what to do. Fuck, I don’t know what to do. What do you do when your Secret Service wants to rightfully kill someone who hurt you? “Mer, he’s an ex fucking mercenary assassin,” I snip.
Meredith's brows kit together and she licks her lips. “What’s that mean?” she wonders.
I look at Mer with a blank expression covering my face. I expected a billionaire's daughter to be a know-it-all. “Meredith, are you serious?” I grill.
Mer puts her hands up in defense. “What? I’m not in college,” she reminds me.
I nod, taking a deep breath and looking down at the crisp blue fabric. “A mercenary is someone paid to fight. Paid to kill,” I sigh.
“So?” I hear Meredith ask.
My hazel eyes connect with hers again. Meredith blinks rapidly, slightly leaning forward with intrigue. “You don’t give an addict the key to the drug lockbox,” I explain.
Mer's eyes squint and I can barely see the sea swimming around her pupils. “Wait you don’t think he’s…” she trails off.
My hand instinctively reaches out and wraps around Meredith's wrist as if she’s one of my little siblings. “Get up. We’re going to find him,” I demand, effectively dragging her out of bed.
Meredith stumbles a bit like a baby deer once her feet are placed on the floor and I start moving quickly, leaving dust in our trail. “Relax, Libby. He’s probably in his room,” she calls behind me.
I fling my bedroom door open, walking us out into the shared living room. “Mer, you gave the trained assassin whose only job is to protect me the coordinates to put a bullet through two people's heads,” I tell her over my shoulder before lifting my hand to knock on Michael’s door.
My knuckles rasp on the old oak wood before I press my ear to the door, listening for any movement. No shuffling is heard behind the door, so I try knocking once more. All I hear is my breathing bouncing off the solid material.
I turn around slowly, wide-eyed and fearful. Meredith seemingly reads my body language and her affect changes to match what I presume mine is. “Oh shit. I did didn’t I?” she asks for clarification.
Brushing past her, I grab my spare robe from the living room closet. “Yes. Now put this on,” I scoff, throwing it towards her chest.
Meredith cringes with shock washing over her face. She hurriedly puts her arms through the sleeves, pulling the fluffy garment on. “What are we going to do?” she panic shouts.
My hands begin to shake and I tuck them into my pockets. “I don’t know! Stop screaming! It’s 4 am!” I bellow.
Tears collect in Mer's eyes and threaten to spill over her lower lid. “You’re screaming back!” she screams.
“Because I’m stressed,” I explain, returning my voice to my normal level. I shut my eyes, taking slow soothing breaths that fill my lungs with the crisp winter air. “Okay, deep breaths. He couldn’t have found them, picked them up, and killed them in two hours,” I rant, trying to stay in my delusional world.
The sound of our bare feet scurrying towards the door echoes off the tile floor. “I think you’re underestimating your man,” I hear Meredith jest under her breath before I pull open my door.
When we exit the hall, the first person I see is a random security guard. He tilts his head and squints his eyes at us before reaching for the inner lining of his suit pocket. “Don’t you fucking dare,” I warn him causing him to freeze.
I slowly creep towards him until we’re standing toe to toe. “I’m just going to my sister's room. You don’t need to tell anyone. Understand?” I flirt, slowly reaching up to grab his hand that’s near his jacket.
His eyes widen and he turns a scarlet red. His palms begin perspiring, effectively moistening my hand. Seemingly speechless, he just nods before I watch his Adam's apple bob as he swallows thickly. Once his hand is placed back by his side, I release it now that my skin is covered in the man's sweat. Tipping my imaginary hat to him, I link my arm with Meredith who has been standing by, pulling her down the hall.
When we reach the door, I greet the secret service agent outside her door with a smile. Great, another fucking loophole. “Hey, is my sister in there?” I ask as sweetly as possible.
He doesn’t look down at me and Meredith. Instead, he keeps his head focused forward towards the rest of the corridor. “Yes,” the older man deadpans.
I roll my eyes, deciding to forego asking for permission. I’m already here, all I need to do is get into that room and talk to Agent Idris. “Great,” I brush past him, reaching for the door to her common living space.
It’s a lot different than my serene blue castle. The room is covered in a dark plum shade that matches beautifully with her skin tone. Although it may be depressing to look at during your first visit, the hue of the purple sparkles like a gem bringing light into the room.
My sister is a heavy sleeper, so I don’t worry that my knocking will wake her as my hand lifts. I bang on the door like a cop, pausing to listen for shuffling, but I hear nothing. “Agent Idris, are you in there?” I call through the door before reaching for the handle.
I slowly crack the door open in case he’s just sleeping. When I look in the dark and cold room, it’s empty. I swear under my breath, slowly shutting the door behind me. When I turn to face Meredith, she looks dejected.
I grab Meredith's hand pulling her out of the joint sitting room between the two rooms. “That was just our first stop. I figured he’d take him,” I encourage her.
We exit my sister's living area, shutting the large door behind us. “Have a good morning,” I bid the agent goodbye, hoping he won’t speak a word.
He quickly tilts his head down in a moment so quickly, I almost miss it. “You too, Ms. Washington,” he mutters.
My feet nearly stick to the group as we scurry to the next location, Huddy's room. When we get to the door, I repeat the same steps with his night door guard. “Is Hudson awake?” I ask kindly.
This time the man looks down at me and shakes his head. “No,” he answers.
I smile, pulling my lips between my teeth to look mischievous to the man in front of me. “Good. I need to prank him. Can I?” I ask with hope.
He pauses for a moment, looking at his watch before looking back up at me. He seems skeptical, but I’m hoping he buys it. After what feels like forever, he finally mutters, “Sure.”
I mutter a thank you in reply before entering my brother's living area. This time Meredith thinks she knows where she’s going, and she heads straight for the door on the right. I grab her arm, softly pulling her backward. The layout is flipped from both my sister's and mine, so I understand how confusing it could be. It’s covered in red, but none of the reds match. Some are faded while some are bold. It’s like a bachelor pad for a man who doesn’t get any pussy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has navy sheets on his bed right now.
My hand lifts, repeatedly pounding on another agent's door. This time I’m surprised to see Agent Flynn’s face. “What are you doing here?” I ask him.
Agent Flynn leans against the door frame, sleepy wiping his eyes. “What are you doing here? It’s like 4 in the morning,” he grumbles.
Trying to save your friend from making a mistake that’ll land him another 4 years with another president’s bratty daughter. Without me. “I think something’s wrong with Michael,” I sigh.
He reaches in to flick the light on in his room. “What do you mean?” he yawns.
I flinch slightly and my pupils adjust to the change of ambiance. “After the dinner, we went out to the club and I got roofied tonight by some rich kids at the club. He asked Meredith for all their info while I was passed out then dropped us here before taking off with Agent Idris,” I try my best to cover all the information tonight.
His eyes widen, seemingly registering what I’ve said. “Shit,” he swears, turning away from the door to enter the brightly lit room. It’s nice compared to my brother's decor. At least someone has taste. “Shit, why don’t they tell me anything?” he asks, grabbing his phone from his bedside table.
Meredith and I survery the room with curiosity, but neither of us dare to cross the threshold into the space. My attention turns back to Agent Flynn, whose fingers quickly tap the screen before he lifts it to his ear. “Who are you calling?” I question him.
“Damson. Mike’s not answering,” Agent Flynn responds.
My heart quickens and my stomach fills with demonic butterflies. Don’t throw up, Lib. Don’t throw up, Lib. Don’t throw up, Lib. “Do you think they’re,” I prompt Agent Flynn to answer.
Agent Flynn's body tenses, instantly giving his answer away. He looks like he needs a hug. “Yes. You better pray your little friend didn’t just nail a coffin,” he snips.
My stomach continuously bubbles and I scratch my hand with furor. The fuck are we going to do? “Two,” Meredith chirps behind us, correcting the man.
My face mirrors Agent Flynn’s, twisting in confusion. When I turn around, Meredith is standing there unphased by the word she just uttered. “Mer, that’s a little insensitive,” I point out.
Her cheeks turn maroon and she looks down at the floor beneath her. “Sorry, but they deserve it,” she grumbles.
Agent Flynn snickers and I whip my head towards him. He puts his hands up in defense when I narrow my eyes at him. “What? I like her,” he smirks.
I stuff the urge to hit him down into the pits of hell, refocusing on the task at hand. “So where are we going first?” I ask Agent Flynn.
He raises an eyebrow at me. “We?” he asks.
I nod furiously. “Yes, we. How can I trust you’re not going to just let them kill them anyway?” I chastise.
He crosses his arms, standing firmly in place like a statue. “Because, unlike Dammy and Mike, I despise killing people,” he counters.
We stare each other down until a few moments pass. The silence is uncomfortable and it makes me want to squirm, but I won’t be the one to give in. Just when I’m about to say fuck it and go back to bed, Agent Idris groans, “Fine. I don’t have time for this. Let’s go,” he commands me and Meredith to follow him.
We exit Hudson's apartment and into the grand hallway. As we walk by guards, Agent Flynn friendly tips his head up to each of them.“Where are we going?” I ask, barely keeping up after his long stride.
“To find them,” he grumbles, taking a right towards the stairwell.
Meredith increases her pace, able to keep up with Agent Flynn’s due to the length of her legs. “Don’t I need actual shoes?” I ask him, putting my hand on the cool banister as we rush down the first level of stairs.
Agent Flynn looks up at me and his amber-colored eyes sparkle in the dim light. “No, we’re just going downstairs,” he informs us.
We get to my parent’s living area and before opening the door Agent Flynn turns around. He puts his finger up to his lips, motioning for us to be quiet. He quietly turns the nob, opens the door, and sticks his head out before entering the area. Once he’s determined the close is clear, he motions for us to follow him down the next set of steps.
I hold my breath and pray that my clumsy nature doesn’t make an appearance. All that’s heard in the small stairwell is the sound of our feet connecting with the stone steps. Once we get to the entrance hall, Agent Flynn silently greets his coworkers, refusing to haul his quick pace.
Although we’re bolting, I feel like I can breathe. There are only two more flights to go and we haven’t been stopped yet.
We make our way towards the next staircase when Mer asks, “There’s a basement?”
“Yes but,” I begin speaking before realizing, I’m also confused about the concept of the basement. I knew about the Navy Resteraunt and the Secret Service headquarters, but not about anything else that happened down there. And since I’m sure no one else will tell me, Agent Flynn is the perfect person to explain. “Agent Flynn, wait,” I call after him.
“We don’t have time,” he grits between his teeth.
I scurry in front of him, stopping him from walking any further on the ground floor. “Agent Flynn, you will stop right now and explain!” I shout like a baby, crossing my arms and stomping for effect.
He looks down at me and smirks. “Rome,” he states.
My brows furrow and I know I’m going to have wrinkles when I’m 50. “What?” I ask.
He steps around me, heading towards the last staircase. “My name is Rome. If you’re going to yell at me, use my first name. Although I rather you be yelling under different circumstances,” he taunts, jogging down leaving Mer and me in his dust.
Mer looks at me and shrugs before following him. Rolling my eyes, I trail after them. “Michael’s gonna kill you when he hears you said that,” I call down the staircase towards Rome.
“Not when he sees you down there. Then, I’ll be dead,” he corrects.
When we reach the bottom floor, I flinch feeling the cool concrete floor beneath my feet. Rome opens the door for us, motioning for us to walk ahead of him. I’ve never been on this side of the basement. The windowless grey space sucks any life out of the area, as opposed to its warm and wood counterpart.
Meredith and I come to a halt and turn around to face Rome, unsure of where to go. He allows the heavy metal door to shut behind us before he clears his throat. “This is the side of the basement is.. How do you say it?” he asks, scratching the back of his neck.
“A torture house?” Meredith squeaks.
Rome clicks his teeth, pointing at the blonde. “Bingo. Used by the highest clearance. Us, the military,” he elaborates.
“Highest clearance including my mom?” I ask, and Rome’s hazel eyes soften with a nod. “Has she used it yet?” I press on, curious about the state of virginity in the space after the election. I purse my lips, accepting his answer.
“I’m not answering that question,” Rome grumbles before turning his back to us. He leads us down a hall I’ve never been down before. The tight space surrounding us heightens my claustrophobia. My heart starts pounding, so I reach out and grab Mer’s hand for some sort of stability. “You alright?” she asks.
We pass various doors that I don’t dare to ask what’s behind. “Yeah, ’m fine. Just don’t like small spaces,” I confess before we take a right.
At the end of the hall, a huge metal door stands between us and something I’m not sure I’m ready to see. My feet drag while Rome quickly walks the rest of the way, unlocking the door before turning around to face me. “Are you sure you want to go in?”
I lightly throw my hand up in exhaustion. “Yes, Rome. Her friend is in there, for fucks sake,” I point out, gesturing towards Mer.
“Former friend,” Meredith squeaks out before I lightly squeeze her hand. “I mean, best friend,” she attempts to clear up.
Rome looks back and forth at us before clearing his throat. “Libby,” he starts, putting his hand on my shoulder and separating Meredith from me. “When Mike gets like this, he’s like a robot. He turns off his humanity to get to his goal and he only listens to the people he cares about. I’m not sure how he’ll react when he sees you,” he warns.
The ice in my toes spreads throughout my body, creating icicles on my nose. He’s warning you because he could see you, and he could kill you. No, Lib, he wouldn’t do that. I wipe my nose with the sleeve of my robe, pulling it tighter around me. “I’m going to choose to have faith on this one. Now open the door,” I demand, looking up at the towering goofball.
He puts his hands up in surrender before turning and pulling the door open. The room is empty, similar to the rest of the hallway. It lacks anything but a metal chair. I rush forward into the space and just when I think I’ve got the wrong room, I look to my right and gasp.
Agent Idris is leaning against an oak table on one side of the room with his arms crossed. Behind the table sits a sobbing Vanessa. Her black mascara stains her cheeks and she’s practically bursting out of her dress.
She flinches and I turn my head, curious to see what she’s looking at. My jaw drops as I watch Michael land another blow to the brunette man’s face. What was once pristine is now dripping with blood. His hands and feet are tied to a chair and he wiggles, attempting to squirm away from Michael’s fist.
I’ve never seen such vitriol and it’s displayed every time Michael flexes his back muscles to swing. The sight is gruesome, and I close my mouth, attempting not to vomit.
“Oh my god,” I hear Meredith say behind me. The sight is gruesome, and I close my mouth, attempting not to vomit. “I can’t watch,” I hear her add before she shuffles out of the room.
“I’m going to go with her. Make sure she’s alright,” I hear Rome say and I nod before the door closes moments later.
I wave at Vanessa, testing if it’s a two-way mirror. My theory is correct and she doesn’t move a muscle. My attention returns to Michael, who’s now kneeling in front of the man, nodding as the man spits out a few words. He’s interrogating him, but there’s got to be a better way to do this. Especially when the kid’s dad is a billionaire.
There’s a button with what looks like a speaker on top of it on the wall. I let my fingers trail over the cool metal before pressing down on the circle.
Vanessa’s sobs fill the space, flowing through the impossibly small device. There’s a gasp before I look up. A sinister grin takes over Michael’s face as he stalks over to his weapons, covered in blood. Michael has decided to move on to the next best thing, a bat. He grabs the wooden spear from the wall, allowing the tip of it to drag on the floor as he walks back over to my perpetrator.
Time slows as I watch him lift the bat, positioning it to rest on his shoulder. He squares his feet firmly in place; I know now is the time. If I don’t stop him now, he’s going to kill him. “Michael,” I utter and he freezes in place. “It’s me,” I choke out the best I can, but it feels like my throat is on fire.
His eyes squint toward the glass as he lowers his arm, walking closer in my direction. “Lib?” he questions with confusion.
His face twists as if he’s on some faraway planet and my voice is his only map to earth. Tears collect in my eyes, threatening to spill over my bottom lid. “Yes. I’m okay. You can stop,” I try to convince him that the route he’s taking isn’t the best.
His once-focused face turns vacant and he begins shaking his head slowly. The pace of his head increases until he’s shaking it rapidly. “No, no, no,” he murmurs as he begins to pace. “Libby wouldn’t be here. She-she’s asleep,” he stutters, talking to himself.
My head nods, even though subconsciously I know he can’t see me. “I am here, Michael,” I emphasize, trying to find the crack in his brain. “Can I come in?” I ask.
His right hand begins beating the outside of his thigh and I know there will be a bruise tomorrow. It’s almost as if he’s trying to pull himself back into his body. “No, you shouldn’t be here. I shouldn’t have done this here. You shouldn’t be down here. You shouldn’t see–”
“Michael,” I cut his disorganized ranting off. He stops pacing, turning to face the glass. “You’re my guard, my secret service, mine. Whatever you do I do too, remember?” I emphasize.
We made a deal. If we’re in this shit situation for 4 years, we’re in it together. Meaning, no making things harder on the other person. And this is the definition of making things harder.
Michael’s face begins to soften and my heart slows. I found him, he’s coming back. “No, you don’t understand,” he murmurs, seemingly ashamed of his actions.
I swallow thickly before saying, “I’m coming in,” as a warning before releasing the metal button.
Michael’s muted pleas fall on deaf ears as I move quickly to my left, pulling open the heavy door to the torture chamber. He’s in front of me in seconds, and the sight of his blood-stained front makes me nauseous.
“I don’t want you seeing this,” he coldly grits through his teeth. His body tenses, shielding me from the sight behind me.
Those weren’t the terms of our deal, fucker. “Oh, so you were bold enough to do it but not in front of me?” I grill.
He inhales a sharp breath, bringing his nondominant hand up to scratch his scruff. “That’s not what I mean. You just got drugged and no girl should see this,” he explains before his eyes wander down to my feet. “Damn it, Lib. You don’t have any shoes on and you’re fucking naked,” he snips.
My hands go down to my robe, gathering the fabric and adjusting it. “I’m not naked and I’m fine. Best sleep of my life,” I express, crossing my arms in from of my chest and attempting to shield my undoubtedly hard nipples from him.
He rolls his eyes, stepping out of the way to bring Damson and Vanessa into view. “Did you guys get what you needed?” I ask the guard.
He nods, standing from his relaxed position on the table. “They sang like a canary in the first 5 minutes. Trying to get some pictures of you in a compromising position to sell to the blogs,” he recalls.
I raise my eyebrow at the man. “So you let Michael beat this man within an inch of his life?” I question him, voice laced with annoyance.
Damson shrugs, unphased. “What? It was fun,” he chuckles.
Rome enters the room, startling me a bit before I return my focus to Damson. Shaking my head at his antics, I open my mouth to scold him when Vanessa cuts in, “I’m sorry, Libby. I–”
“Shut the fuck up,” I spit in her face, effectively shutting her up. I bend down slightly so we’re on the same level. I want to make sure she understands every word I’m saying. “You don’t get to call me that. Matter of fact, don’t even speak. You’re not in the position to,” I fume in her direction.
Rome whistles before murmuring, “Damn.”
Vanessa sniffs, unable to wipe the snot since she’s bound to the chair. I revel in her this way. Thinking she could fuck me over. Karma is a bitch. “Stupid cunt,” I grumble.
I turn around to face the three men, deciding it’s best to pretend she’s not there so I don’t get worked up. Michael silently surveys my face and my brows knit on my forehead. Why is he looking at me like that?
Rome clears his throat before asking, “What do you want to do?”
What do I want to do? It’s not like killing them would go off without a hitch. Both of their parents are very prominent figures. The best thing to do now is to use them as an example.
Hell, Teddy’s almost dead and I’ll just act like I don’t know her when people ask. She’ll fade to black and Im sure the message will be well received all over the city. “Let them go,” I command.
Damson kisses his teeth and his upper body curls. He looks dejected that he couldn’t press on. “But we were just getting to the good part,” he groans.
You’ve got to be kidding me. Is he complaining about not being about to kill someone? “And you’ll get your good part if they ever try this again,” I placate.
I nod at Rome, signaling for him to untie Vanessa. I watch as he swiftly unties each notch in the knot. Each rope falls to the ground one by one until she’s standing from her prison. “Thank you so much, Liberty. I’m really sorry, again,” she professes.
I scoff at her fakeness. She’s never liked me and she's only pretending to for her mortality. “I’m only letting you go because I’m not a woman hater. Take this as a warning. You tried, but you failed. Try again, I won’t stop them next time. I will let them kill you, Vanessa,” I promise her.
She nods before slipping back on her club heels. She looks at me, awaiting her next instructions. “Meredith can probably take you home. You have to talk to her now too,” I gesture towards the door, beckoning her to leave.
She nods, allowing her gaze to fall to the floor before she scurries out of the room. I reach into my robe pocket, quickly texting Meredith an update so she has a full grasp on the situation, although she’s probably standing right behind the glass pane.
I’m highly aware that this is a strange place to start a friendship, but maybe it’s the start of something long-lasting. “What about him?” Rome asks, pointing to the barely human face crumpled over in the metal chair.
“Call clean up and have them take care of it. It’s almost 6,” Michael instructs before grabbing the bottom of his blood-soaked shirt. He seamlessly lifts it over his head, showing his perfectly sculpted physique. His abs could easily handle a week's worth of my laundry, irritating the stains from the fabric.
He pulls the top from his body, allowing it to fall to the floor. I’m rendered speechless, feeling it inappropriate to drool in a situation like this. Damson seemingly notices me staring and he clears his throat, causing my eyes to shoot up to the light in the ceiling.
I spin on my heels, unsure of what to do. Once we leave this room, we’re not going to be able to discuss this. There are mics and cameras in every room but the bathroom. I know some camera angles have changed to give me some privacy, but every entrance and exit is being recorded. No one moves in The White House without the Secret Service knowing.
I almost jump when I feel a hand on the small of my back, being brought back to reality. My eyes connect with Michael’s when I lower my head and his once black irises have returned to brown. “You need more sleep,” he simply states.
I nod, unsure of what to say to the boys. A cheery goodbye doesn’t necessarily mesh well with social norms. Michael doesn’t allow me to deliberate, lightly pushing me forward towards the door.
I conceded, turning the need to think off by following his lead. He opens the door for us, ushering us through the entryway. As we walk through the empty viewing room, I look to the left one last time at the scarlet scene. My stomach gurgles, and I snap my eyes to the floor. “You sure you okay?” Michael asks, opening the next door for me.
In the grand scheme of things, I feel fine. But if I say that after being through a traumatic situation, he’s going to lock me up and throw away the key. “I’m more concerned about you,” I disclose genuinely as we walk down the hall.
He shrugs, seemingly unaffected by his actions. “I’m fine. This is what I do,” he grumbles.
“Used to do,” I correct.
“It’s my job,” he argues and I remind him why I hate him sometimes. It’s like talking to a child.
“I don’t think revenge killing was in the position description,”
The walk back up to our apartment feels like it takes forever. The winding staircases and onlookers dare to swallow me whole. I’m not sure a barefoot and clotheless president's daughter with her shirtless Secret Service agent paints the best picture.
My endless suggestions that Michael at least be checked out by the nurse fall on deaf ears. So when we enter the living room of the apartment, I point at the couch commanding him, “Sit.”
He raises his eyebrow at me but doesn’t make any moves to put his bottom on the cushion. “If you’re not going to let me take you to the infirmary, you’re going to let me clean you up,” I explain.
His eyes search mine for deception and I sigh, annoyed with the consistency of this game. “Fine,” he finally gives in, moving to take a seat on the couch.
I leave the room to retrieve the first aid kit from the bathroom, filling a cup by the sink with warm water so I can rinse his hands. When I get back, Michael is patiently waiting for my return, anxiously flexing both his hands.
Taking a seat next to him, I bring his hand into my lap to calm his fidgeting. “Stop doing that. You’ll keep opening and breaking the skin,” I worry.
“I was trying to see if it was broken,” he counters and suddenly I feel like an idiot.
“Oh,” I mumble, twisting his wrist to examine his hand. “Is it?” I ask.
He shakes his head, slinking down into the couch cushions with a sigh. He looks exhausted. Large brown circles darken the spot beneath his eye and I feel a pang in my chest. “No, probably a hairline fracture,” he speculates and I can tell he’s trying to ease my anxiety.
I pick up the washcloth, dipping it into the cup of water. We sit in silence for a few moments until he winces. Something’s wrong with his hand and he fucked it up because of me.
I quickly clean the rest of his hand, eager to rid the thick sexual tension between us. This is the longest he’s ever touched me and it intensifies the fire in between my thighs. Not right now, Libby. You’re bandaging his hand. “You’ll see the doctor when we wake up,” I demand once we’re finished.
Snapping the first aid kit shut, I scoop the remnants of the bandage wrappers up with my hand. “We?” I hear Michael's question.
I nod, having already made my decision. I just need to stick to it. “Yes, we. You haven’t slept in like 24 hours,” I point out before standing from the couch.
I toss the trash into the pale blue bin on the other side of the room. “I’m fine,” Michael reassures.
“Yeah right,” I scoff before going into the bathroom. Closing the door behind me, I make sure to wash my hands before relieving myself one last time for the night. Once my hands are scrubbed once more, I apply some vanilla lotion to keep them from drying out.
When I exit the bathroom, Michael hasn’t moved from the couch. He watches me cross the room over to my door with laser focus. “Come on,” I beckon him to join me.
He shakes his head and his body becomes cement. “I’m not sleeping in the bed with you,” he objects.
I roll my eyes at his combativeness and part my lips to say, “I’m not asking you to sleep. But I can’t trust that you won't just leave again.” and kill someone.
He shakes his head but he still doesn’t make a move. Fuck, what do I have to do to get you in my bed? It shouldn’t be this hard. “I wouldn’t,” he reiterates.
“Then come, for me. Call it suicide watch,” I rephrase, hoping it’ll do the trick.
The tick of the clock fills the room and several seconds go by before a glimmer of interest sparkles in his eyes. “Fine,” he concedes, standing from the couch.
He crosses the living area until he’s standing just inside my bedroom door. I shut the door behind us, locking the door just in case Jo didn’t get the memo to not wake me up early this morning.
In the soft light of the early morning room, I shed my robe and Michael sheds his pants. Grabbing a scrunchy from my vanity, I attempt to tie my unruly hair back up underneath my bonnet. When I turn around, Michael stands by the side of my bed patiently waiting for me. He holds the corner of the duvet up for me to climb in.
Once I’m hugged by my warm vanilla fragrance, I watch as he walks over to the other side of the bed, replacing Meredith for the night.
My eyes blink rapidly at him, trying to adjust through the night. “Go to sleep, my lady,” he chides.
Not having any energy to argue, I sigh, turning my body away from him and allowing myself to get comfortable in my bed. As soon as I’m settled, my body begins to give in to the exhaustion of the night’s activities.
I begin to doze off before I feel Michael’s hand snake up my side. I hum at his warm touch, scooting back into his body. “Stay, please,” I request in a daze.
“Okay,” I hear him husk before sleep envelopes me.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐥𝐲
𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - F1!Damson Idris x Black! OC
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 - Famous formula one driver flirts with the girl of his dreams and she, not much to his surprise, flirts back. Their connection is apparent and palpable. Only thing is, she’s the daughter of his team principal and already dating his rival.
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - banter, flirting, cheating(??), sneaky
𝐉𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐞’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 - I wanted to write something for Damson but all my Franklin Saint stories require more time so here’s something short and sweet. And will probably turn in to something more…..also, DAMSON IDRIS NEEDS MORE ATTENTION ON THIS APP!!!( Also, the OC’s name is pronounced NO-EM-IE)
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 - 1,863+
The paddock buzzed with energy under the sweltering sun. Engines roared in the background as mechanics swarmed around the cars, each tweak and adjustment critical. Cameras flashed, fans screamed, and the unmistakable tension of race day hung in the air.
Damson leaned casually against the side of his team's hospitality unit, dressed in his racing suit, the sleeves tied around his waist, every inch the confident driver ready to conquer the track. Sunglasses were perched on his face, his easy charm and magnetic smile made heads turn as he conversed with his team. His effortless charm couldn’t help but rub off onto her, he had it all—the speed, the talent, the fame—it made him an easygoing man. He had the things others craved even a morsel for. But what he loved most was the thrill of winning, both on and off the track. Though, as great as life was, the thrill off the track hasn’t been as fulfilling.
That’s when he saw her, Noémie Adebayo. She was a vision to those who watched in person and online, her fresh blowout swaying in the wind of the Saudi Arabian Air. Her white cotton set swayed as well, the wind giving her an angelic look as she strutted in, turning heads in the paddock. Noémie was as much a fixture in the paddock as the cars themselves. With her sharp wit and effortless style, she had a way of commanding attention without even trying. She was standing near her father, exchanging pleasantries with sponsors, but her laugh carried above the din, catching Damson’s ear like a siren’s call. Her laugh was light, carefree, and cut through the chaos that was F1.
He shouldn’t have looked at her the way he did. Noémie wasn’t just off-limits—she was untouchable. She was dating Nico Valdez, Griffin Motors’ golden boy and Damson’s fiercest rival on the track. She was also the only daughter of Antoine Adebayo, the team principal of APEX. His team. But rules, Damson always thought, were made to be broken. It’s why he was a champion now.
She caught his gaze, her dark-colored eyes shining as they locked with his for a moment too long. A smile curled at the corner of her lips as she turned back to the conversation she was having with her father.
"Careful, Idris," came a voice beside him. "You’re staring."
Damson glanced at his teammate, the brown woman was smirking at him as she adjusted the tool in her hands, coming from the pit crew.
"I’m just admiring the competition," Damson replied smoothly, his eyes still locked on Noémie as she tucked her blowing hair behind her ear. Simone furrowed her brows at him, eyes bouncing over to said woman.
"Competition? She’s not on the track, mate."
Damson smirked. "No, but she’s in the way."
He then pushed off the wall, his movements deliberate as he crossed the garage toward her. As he approached, Noémie turned, her eyes catching his. She didn’t look surprised—she never did.
"Noémie," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Always a pleasure." He said with a soft smile.
“It always is, to see you Damson,” Noémie said, her voice as smooth as silk, as if it exited her glossed lips and grazed against his skin. He hummed, his arms behind his back as he looked down at his kids at her. "Looking radiant as ever. You come here to cheer me on today?” He quipped, watching as an amused smile broke out into her lips that parted in a feigned gasp. "Cheer you on? I think you’re at the wrong paddock, Idris, my dear. Nico Valdez doesn’t take fans from last-place teams." Her jab was sharp, but the teasing tone in her voice gave her away.
"Last place?" He stepped closer, just enough to make her feel the heat of his presence. "You must not be paying attention then, love. You might want to focus less on your boyfriend and more on the man who’s going to leave him eating dust." He smirked before giving a small tilt of his head, his eyes drifting over her face. “A man who’s more worthy of your attention.” He added.
Noémie tilted her head, letting out a small gasp. “Damson!” She said, and her movements were as quick as light, her purse moving from one hand into the other so she could softly jab his covered shoulder. “That was rather sly of you.” She accused, looking up at him with a small smirk, her eyes glinting in the stadium lights. Although he could tell she was purely amused but his quips. “Cheeky.”
“You have to be in a game like this, darlin’.” He said, bringing his arm from behind his back and gesturing it towards the tracks that weren’t that far away from them. “How do you think I’ve been winning this long?”
“Talent.” She didn’t hesitate, her gaze not wavering from his as she tilted her head up at him. Damson’s mind halted, as well as his heart as he gaped down at her. She’d never know how the simplest of words uttered from her lips made him feel, even the mere sound of his name had him almost asking her if she could say it again, directly in his ear so he’d never forget the sound when they spent time away. And now, she’d just admitted what she thought of his profession—his career—and he didn’t think winning any race could make him feel like he did now. This was the high he’d been chasing.
He blinked, trying to gather anything else he could say since his mind went blank and his mother went dry.
His silence caused her smile to widen. "But those are bold words for a man who’s spun out twice in the last three races." She added.
Damson snapped out of his trance, chuckling. He then leaned in ever so slightly, his voice dropping low enough that only she could hear. "Careful, Noémie. Keep talking like that, and Nico’s not going to like the way you’re looking at me. You’re noticing things.”
Her breath caught for half a second—just long enough for him to notice. Her eyes didn’t leave him no matter where his dodged on her face, or how close he leaned in.
She recovered quickly, tilting her chin up. "I don’t know what you’re talking about, Damson." She said, her tone lighter than before.
"Don’t you?" he countered, his dark eyes holding hers. "You’re enjoying this." He said, his eyes jumping down to her lips when she rubbed them together to spread her gloss that had the tiniest bit of pink on top of her brown lip liner. “Our banter, of course.” He added cheekily.
She didn’t deny it. Instead, she raised an eyebrow, unflinching. "Careful, Idris. My father’s right over there.” She nodded her head over to the older man with a headset and the red hat on, only about ten feet away from where they were now. “You wouldn’t want him to think you’re distracted." She grinned. “By our, banter of course.” She tilted her head at him, just as cheeky as he was mockingly.
"Let him," Damson said with a grin. "I’m good at multitasking." He said, letting out a small laugh.
Noémie’s laugh was soft, almost inaudible over the noise of the paddock, but it sent a shiver down his spine.
“Shouldn’t you be focused on winning today? Or are you here to get pointers from Nico?" She was full on teasing now, not even trying to hide her grin as she tried to rile him up. Damson faces scrunched up as her lightly jerked his head back at her.
"Nico doesn’t have anything I need," Damson said, leaning in slightly to lean against one of the rials that deported the crew far from the track. His voice dropped. "But you, on the other hand…" He trailed off.
She smiled, holding up her nude manicured index finger. “Ah, Damson.” She cut him off, giving him a certain look. She glanced over her shoulder toward her father, then catching sight of Nico, who was walking toward them with his usual air of superiority.
"Careful what you say.” She murmured, her voice softer now. "Unless you want Nico and Baba to think you’ve got nothing better to do than waste time with me."
Damson smiled, stepping back but letting his gaze linger on her a second longer than necessary. "Time spent with you is never wasted, Nomi."
She rolled her eyes, but he didn’t miss the faint blush on her cheeks as she turned away, obviously due to the name she hasn’t heard anyone call her in a while. She smiled, stepping back just as Nico Valdez appeared, his sharp features twisting into a frown as he noticed the two of them standing far too close.
"Everything alright here?" Nico’s voice was clipped, his gaze bouncing between Damson and Noémie.
"Perfect," Damson replied smoothly, flashing Nico a grin that was all provocation. "Just welcoming Noémie to the paddock. Always good to see such… loyal fans." He said, only offering Nico a small glance as he spoke.
Noémie bit her lip to stifle a chortle as Nico bristled, his shoulders stiffening. "She’s here to support me, Idris. Not you. So maybe focus on staying on the track this time, yeah?"
Noémie was quick to whack her the back of her jeans chest Nico’s chest, all amusement dropping as she looked over at the man that stationed his leg behind her. “Watch it. He’s one of my dad’s best racers.” She hissed, pointing over at Damson. His brows quirked briefly at her clipped tone and sharp gaze on her partner, and the way she was quick to come to his defense. Nico’s jaw ticked as she glanced over at the man before them after giving his girlfriend an apologetic look.
Damson’s grin widened. "Oh, I’ll stay on track. And when I pass you, I’ll be sure to give Nomi a little wave." He said, the nickname rolling off his tongue too easily. Noémie’s gaze made its way back to him, her eyes softening and her smile subtle. But Damson’s eyes were trained on Nico, whose were locked on his.
The tension between the two drivers was electric, but Noémie broke the moment, placing a hand on Nico’s arm. "Let’s go, Nico," she said, her tone calm but her eyes sparkling with mischief as she glanced at Damson one last time. He gave them a lazy wave before heading back to his car.
As she walked away, Damson turned and called after her, his voice light but laced with meaning. "I’ll see you after the race, Noémie. I’ll save you a spot on the winner’s podium." She flashed a quick glance back at him, almost not noticeable with the way she swiped her hair over her shoulder. But he saw the flash of her pearly whites and the slight sway of her hips, telling him she’d heard him loud and clear.
He bit his lip with a smile before turning to quickly make his way back to his car. The race hadn’t even started yet, but Damson was already playing to win.
I don’t really know who to tag in this so if you want to be added to the tag list, just let a sista know in the comments.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝
𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - Franklin Saint x Black!Reader
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 - How, over time, Franklin Saint knew he was line love with one of his best friends.
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - cursing, drugs, suggestive comments, jealousy…I’m not to sure about anything else.
𝐉𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐞’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 - This snowfall rewatch has been in a chokehold. I want to write more about him but I fear it’s going to turn into a series and I just can’t commit to that right now. UNEDITED, sorry for any grammar issues and spelling errors.
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 - 4,886+
Franklin never thought he’d ever feel the way he did right now. He never thought that he would feel this way for her. The way everything seemed to slow down around him, and everyone else blurred as his eyes trained themselves on her. The way his heart seemed to pump loud within the confines of his chest, each beat resounding in his ears. He could hear the sound of his breathing as well, could almost count every intake as he analyzed her figure.
He could remember the first time he felt the way his heart jumped at her, and how confused his own feelings made him.
He first began to take notice to how she was always there.
It was supposed to be just another drop, another routine in their increasingly dangerous lives. Franklin, Leon, and Kevin had been doing it for weeks—moving product through the projects, blending in with the locals, staying low. They’d all grown used to the hustle, to the tension in the air, but there was something about that day that felt different. Maybe it was the way the street corner was unusually quiet, or the way the shadows seemed deeper than normal, but Franklin couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. He wasn’t wrong.
She was there, as she always was when they made these trips. But today, it felt more intense. While Leon and Kevin played it chill and simple, talking to a few of the local fiends to solidify their arrangement of ‘I supply, you buy’, Franklin couldn't help but notice the way Juanita lingered a few feet behind him, her body positioned slightly off to the side so she could keep an eye on everything around them. Her posture was stiff, alert, and he could see the way her fingers twitched near her waistband, ready to pull out her gun at a moment's notice.
That’s something he always noticed about her.
She was always watching. Always ready, not matter how many people thought she was an easy target because of the Walkman she was always listening too. Her movements were fluid, practiced, and Franklin noticed how her eyes scanned every face that passed by, how she didn’t let herself relax, even for a second as she anticipated anyone’s next move.
Leon and Kevin were always there too, but it was Juanita's presence that stuck out to him. She wasn’t just part of the crew; she was always aware, always protecting them in a way he couldn’t quite put into words. He hadn’t realized how much he relied on that quiet vigilance until he noticed the way she instinctively moved closer to him as the deal went down. Even if she wasn’t directly involved, she was always just a few steps away, like an invisible shield around him, her eyes never straying from her surroundings.
It wasn’t like he’d never seen her before—he had. But today, there was something different. She wasn’t just standing there out of obligation; she was standing there because, somehow, she cared. Franklin didn’t know why it took him this long to notice, but as they made their way back to the car after the drop, he realized that, more than anyone else, he liked the way she cared for him. Not in a loud, obvious way, but in the way she positioned herself so that no one could touch him without her noticing.
It was subtle, but Franklin couldn’t ignore the way she made him feel safe, even in the heart of the projects, surrounded by dangers they both knew too well. Even if it was sort of odd, him being the man and all. The one that’s supposed to be protecting her. And it wasn’t like he didn’t, he just felt his heart skip a little at the thought that she was willing to go the extra mile for him. She was always there—always ready—and something about that made Franklin realize just how much he depended on her presence.
The second time was at the arcade.
The place was packed, the usual buzz of clinking tokens and flashing lights filling the air, but Franklin’s mind was elsewhere. He was busy watching the guys—Leon and Kevin were hustling in the corner, trying their luck at the shooting game, while Juanita hung back, tapping her fingers to the rhythm of the music in her headphones as she played PacMan. Franklin could see her, even with the boisterous noise around them. She always stood a little apart, a little too distant from the others, but he’d grown used to that. It wasn’t like she had a problem with them—it was just the way she was. She liked doing her own thing while being around them, even if she never said it.
Her form standing near the machine gave shit to her figure. Sine it was summer, she where nothing but a pair of regular denim shorts that cuffed at the ends, ending mere inches under her cup of her bottom. Paired with a simple red shirt, with white sleeves and collar. Her brown legs were long and alluring as they leveraged her body against the machine while she played. She was focused, music playing in her ears while tried not to die from the pink ghost.
Franklin guessed his constant checking on her over his shoulder drew the attention of the boys who finished their game. They looked over as well, watching as curly haired girl trained her gaze in the game, while Franklin stood to play a round at the space invader game in front of him.
Then Kevin spoke.
"Man, you know if she just stopped looking so angry all the time, she could get a lot more attention around here." His voice was casual as he looked his friend up and down from afar, but the way he said it made Franklin’s stomach turn. “I’d gladly like to have those legs wrapped around me.” He smirked, nudging Leon.
It wasn’t a compliment—it was a meant to be a joke, but ended up being the kind of joke that wasn’t really funny at all. Kevin was trying to make light of her while being at our nasty about someone he considered a friend, something Franklin had never been okay with.
Franklin's fingers tightened around the joystick in his hand, the irritation rising in his chest like a burning tide. He could feel his breath quicken, his mind going from calm to heated in the blink of an eye. This wasn’t the first time Kevin had said something off-color about her, but today... today, it just hit a nerve. Franklin didn’t know why it bothered him so much, but there was something about the way Kevin dismissed her, about the way he joked at her expense, that made Franklin scowl.
He didn’t think. He just reacted.
"Watch your mouth, Kev," Franklin snapped, his voice cutting through the noise of the arcade like a blade. It wasn’t loud, but it was sharp, and it made Kevin pause mid-sentence.
Kevin blinked, clearly surprised by the quick retort. "Come on, man, it was just a joke."
"Doesn’t matter, nigga." Franklin said, his tone firm. “Show some respect to someone we both consider a friend.”His eyes were locked on Kevin, and he could see the confusion flicker in his friend’s eyes at his sudden attitude, but it didn’t matter.
Kevin didn’t get it. Franklin could feel his jaw clenching, a part of him wanting to explain, wanting to make Kevin understand why the comment had bothered him so much, but he didn’t have the words for it. He didn’t know why the comment he’s heard about her from multiple guys, bothered him now. He just knew that if anyone was going to talk about her, it sure as hell wasn’t going to be Kevin, and damn sure not like that.
Kevin raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, my bad, Frank. I didn’t mean anything by it."
Franklin didn’t let it go, though. He didn’t let the tension slip. He gave Kevin one last hard look, and then turned to her, who had no notice of the conversation. In fact, she was smiling at the fact that she won, clapping her hands for herself as she waited on the scoreboard to show her rank. Now privy to the rest of the arcade, she looked over at the place her friends last were, catching eyes with Franklin. He was taken back by her grin, the girl excitedly pointed to the machine that was now spewing out the tickets she won.
He blinked, nodding his head at her before he watched her bend down to getter the tickets. His mind still lingering over the conversation that ended seconds ago.
He didn’t realize it until later, but it was in that moment that something inside him shifted. The way he defended her, the way he couldn't stand anyone talking about her like that, made him realize just how much she mattered to him. She wasn’t just someone he grew up with. She was someone he cared for deeply, and anyone who tried to discredit her, even in passing, would have to answer to him.
The third time, oddly enough, was doing business.
The cookhouse smelled like chemicals, sweat, and the faint trace of something that reminded Franklin of home. The air was thick, the heat rising from the makeshift stove as the chemicals bubbled in the corner of the room, where the process was taking place. It was just him and her. The two of them putting in work in shifts, and Franklin just finished his.
There were no distractions, just the sound of sizzling and the occasional scrape of metal on glass as they worked. It was a quiet night—no loud music, no chatter—just the task at hand. And Franklin couldn't stop watching her.
She moved with precision, her focus sharp, eyes darting from the process to the ingredients. She measured everything with care, just like she always did, making sure nothing went wrong. There was something oddly captivating about the way she worked. She was calm, confident, even in this chaotic environment, and Franklin found himself watching her more than he intended. His gaze lingered on the way her hands worked, the steady rhythm of her motions as she mixed the ingredients.
She noticed. He didn’t have to say anything for her to feel his eyes on her. She didn’t acknowledge it at first, but he caught the slight smirk on her lips as she continued. The faintest laugh bubbled from her chest, though she didn’t turn her head to look at him.
Then, without warning, she spoke up, her voice light with playful sarcasm. “What are you staring at, Gumby?”
Franklin blinked. "Gumby?" He repeated, furrowing his brows at the sound of the old name as he snapped out of his staring.
She shrugged, not breaking from her work. "Yeah, that’s what I used to call you back in the day, remember?” She said, glancing over at him. “Long limbs, awkward as hell. You’d be tripping over your own feet half the time."
A chuckle escaped Franklin’s lips before he could stop it. He’d almost forgotten about that nickname. It had been years since anyone had called him that. She had started it after being picked on by him for her stutter. It stuck for a while, especially with Kevin and Leon.
“You still remember that?”His voice was soft as he looked at her back. She looked over at him for the first time, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “How could I forget? You were all legs and no coordination, always running into shit. No one else was telling you how much of a loser you really were, so I had to step in.” She snickered.
Franklin grinned, though he didn’t say much. There was something oddly comforting in the way she could tease him like this. It’s was sort of the only way they communicated, though slight jabs and jests. She wasn’t afraid to bring up the past, to remind him of the awkward kid he used to be. It was like the world hadn’t changed between them even though they were risking their lives daily. Like they could slip back into the old rhythm of childhood without thinking twice.
She shifted the dope in the bowl, making sure the mix was perfect, before adding a bit more of the chemical. “You’ve changed, though.” She added nonchalantly. “Don’t think I didn’t notice how quiet you’ve been tonight.”
Franklin didn’t respond immediately, the words catching in his throat. He didn’t know why he’d been so quiet, why his attention kept straying to her. But he didn’t mind. There was something about being with her in these moments, just the two of them, that felt... different. And it was hard to explain.
As she continued working, her back turned to him again, he couldn’t help but feel an odd shift in the air. He wasn’t just watching her out of habit or because it was a natural thing to do; something about her presence, the way she carried herself, was starting to pull him in. She’d been part of his world for so long, and yet, in this moment, she felt like she was the only thing in it.
The fourth time, it was when he could have sworn he saw jealousy on her features.
It had been a few weeks since Franklin started hanging around Melody more. They were all part of the same circle, but Melody’s presence around him seemed to shift something. He noticed it at first—the way his attention lingered on her or how they started spending more time together. He’d always had a thing for Melody, most guys did. The only difference with him is, Melody liked him back and she didn’t really hide it.
When they started getting more flirty, he kept things only the low. One, so that her dad wouldn’t kill him, and two because he didn’t really want people in his business, especially Kevin and Leon. But the long glances and the teasing smiles were there from the both of them. It was subtle, at least to him. But it wasn’t lost her.
She wasn’t a fool. She also wasn’t the type to show her emotions easily. But when she noticed how much time Franklin spent talking to Melody, laughing at her jokes, and slipping into that comfortable camaraderie they always had, something inside her tightened. Her stomach felt like it bubbled with acid, ready to rise and slew out of her throat. It wasn’t the jealousy she was used to feeling—this was different. It was a gnawing, irritating feeling that crept up her throat when she saw him smile that way with someone else.
That smile she noticed he only had for something fond. Something that made him temper better times. A smile he wore when he was in his head, thinking of possible memories to make together.
The jealousy she felt wasn't about Melody, really. Though, she couldn’t help but feel a little insecure at the fact that Mel was everything she wasn’t. Shorter, thinner, and lighter. But Melody was her friend, the only girl friends she had and she wanted to see her happy, like she was now.
The jealousy she felt was mainly about Franklin and how he'd begun to treat her differently. In the past, he'd always been teasing, picking at her, but now… it was like he was holding back. He didn’t call her "Dee Dee" anymore, didn’t talk to her like he used to, didn’t share his half-thoughts and jokes like they were still just two kids growing up in the same neighborhood. It stung a little.
One evening, they were all at the skating rink, as they often went when the crew was looking for a way to blow off steam and the arcade was closed. The air was heavy with the sounds of clinking wheels against wood and the buzz of people’s joy and nice music. Kevin was goofing off at the pool table, doing an sorts of maneuvers that weren’t doing anything to better his shot, while Melody leaned against the table, casually flipping through some random magazine that was available at one of the food tables.
Franklin stood next to her, his arm brushing hers as they talked about something that made him laugh, his grip around a pool stick.
His laugh was soft , the kind that made her stomach knot. She was over by the air hockey table, pretending to study the game she and Leon were in, but her eyes kept flicking to them. She noticed how Franklin was acting around Melody, how easily they slipped into their own world. They hadn’t had a conversation like that in weeks. And he didn’t even notice her watching them.
Leon must’ve noticed too, because he looked over at her with a smirk on his face and then looked over to Franklin. He raised his hand, doing a small flick to catch his friend’s attention. Franklin glanced up when he caught the movement, excusing himself before making his way over to the pair. Leon smirked."Yo, I see you over here looking all cozy with Mel. Don’t tell me you’re finally together?"
Franklin snorted, brushing it off. "Nah, we’re just chillin’. You know how it is." He smirked.
But that didn’t stop Leon, who glanced his eyes over at her when she pushed the disk over to his side. "I mean, she’s got the looks, and the sweet little attitude. Pretty cute, too. You two would make a nice couple."
Her hands tightened around the air hockey puck, her gaze narrowing as she glanced at Leon, then back at Franklin, waiting for what he had to say. A twinge of something hot and sour bubbled up in her chest. It wasn’t jealousy, not really. But there was an odd, uncomfortable feeling that washed over her, one she didn’t know how to deal with. She hated this.
Franklin didn’t seem to notice. He just shook his head at Leon’s teasing, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Nah, man.”
But she wasn’t going to let it go that easily. As she took her next shot, she shot Leon a look. “You keep talking about her like that, I might have to put you in your place.” She said, her voice sharp but playful. Franklin’s looked over at her when she spoke, his eyes subconsciously flicking over her figure. One of her hands was on her hip, the other sitting on top of the table hockey disk as she waited for Leonard to keep playing. She didn’t catch his eyes like she usually did, which made his brows with a little but he was grateful, or else he’d been seen chancing her out.
Kevin laughed her off. “Oh, you’re just mad ‘cause Franklin’s getting all the attention.” He teased.
She stiffened, her mouth pressing into a thin line. “I’m not mad.” She snapped back, though her tone was steady and she could feel the heat rising to her face. “Just don’t talk about her like that. She’s my friend and she’s not some prize to win.” She stated.
Leon threw up his hands, clearly amused. “Alright, alright. Chill, girl. I’m just playing.”
She wasn’t sure what stung more—the fact that Leon was making light of it, or the fact that Franklin seemingly barely even noticed. To her, not once had he picked up on the way she’d always looked out for him, always had his back, even when he didn’t ask for it.
Later that night, as they all headed back to the car, Franklin walked with Melody a few steps ahead of her, still wrapped up in whatever inside joke they shared. Franking would glance back every now and then, checking in on the file that walked with her headphones on and her hands in her pockets. He felt a connection with Melody, he really did, but his mind would always drift back to the girl that lingered. He would wonder if she would find the things he said to Melody funny, what would she would say in place of the girl next to him. And he questioned himself on if he liked Melody or was he just avoid the strong pull she had on him.
When they made it to his block, he turned to speak to her, telling her that he was gonna walk her to her doorstep, even though she just stayed across the street, but he saw the back of her curly ponytail walking away from him as Mel walked to her doorstep. His words got caught in his throat as he watched her into her home without a word to him, her door closing at the same time as Melody’s, though he didn’t turn his head to see hers. He sighed before making his way into his home.
She kept her distance, pretending to not care, but something in her twisted inside. It wasn’t about Franklin laughing with Melody or the way he treated her—it was about the way she was starting to feel invisible. The way things had changed, and she couldn’t figure out why it hurt so much. But it did.
That night, they both laid in their separates bed within their separate home, staring at the ceiling, replaying everything over and over in their heads. It wasn’t jealousy. It couldn’t be, they both thought. It was something else—something that was starting to feel too much like something neither didn’t want to admit.
When he knew he needed her, and that he loved her.
The day after Franklin tried to make a drop on his own, things hadn’t gone according to plan. It wasn’t a disaster, but the tension that followed left him on edge. He’d just been trying to do things his way—trying to show he was capable of really doing this drug shit, that he didn’t always need someone—her, there to watch his back and do the hard shit for him.
He’d treated the situation like how he did with Mel—the soft, naive approach—but he didn’t realize that she wasn’t the type of girl who needed coddling and now he had a problem on his hands.
The problem was that shed caught wind of the mishap before he had a chance to explain it or even tell her what he did, the words coming to her from Leon. And that was when she showed up. She was always the one to confront him directly, no pretense or beating around the bush. While Franklin had changed since entering the game, bringing ham shell of his old self and more demanding and fearful, she never cared. She would always talk to him like she did when they were children and he was a little shy at first. She’d speak her mind and demand answers, and they both knew she would continue to no matter how much he changed.
So here he was now. He was at a corner booth in a diner when she slid into the seat across from him, her eyes sharp but not yet laced with anger. “You trying to shut me out?” Her voice was steady and clipped, but there was an undertone of something else—something deeper. Franklin could tell she wasn’t just talking about the drop. And after their encounter during the rink, things have been a little stiff.
He didn’t have a response right away. His eyes drifted to the side, gazing out at the busy street, avoiding her eyes. He didn’t want to say anything wrong, but he didn’t know how to explain it. He wasn’t sure why he had tried to handle it alone, knowing that she knew more about this than he did. Knowing that she’s the one that’s been with him every step of the way, never talking home down like everyone else.
“I wasn’t trying to shut you out.” He shrugged, but even he could tell how weak it sounded. “I just—I thought you didn’t need to be involved. You’ve got enough on your plate with your family.”
Her lips curled in a slight, disbelieving smirk before she scoffed. “You don’t get it, do you?” She leaned forward, elbows on the table. Her stare pierced him, and Franklin was tempted to look away, but he held his ground. He held her eyes as her pissed grinned disappeared from her face, replaced with her cold one again. And he couldn’t help but still feel his heart skip and admire her as she looked at him. “I do this shit to take care of my family.” She said. “I do this because providing for them is how I show them I care. I look after the shit you do, because that’s how I show how I care.” She spat ay him, never once breaking eye contact. Franklins jaw clenched as they started at one another, just sitting there and listening to her shaker tone that hit him again and again.
“You think I’d just stand by and let you make a mess of things? Some shit I put work into?” She hissed, harshly jabbing her finger into his chest across the table. Franking looked down at the pressure she applied, his face morphing into a frown of anger at her reaction but also at himself at the underlining pain he could hear in her voice. “Nah, I’m not gonna let you do that. Not when you don’t even know what the fuck you’re walking into.”
Franklin’s throat went dry, and he found himself scrambling for words. “I thought—I thought maybe that I could protect you from this. This shit is crazier than selling dime bags on campus at UCLA to a bunch of white people. This shit is life or death.” He stated firmly. “You know—like… I was just trying to look out for you—”
She shook her head before he could finish his sentence. “Franklin.” Her voice was softer now, almost sad, but there was an edge to it. “You’re not doing me a favor. I don’t need you to treat me like I’m weak, like I don’t know what I’m doing.”
He swallowed hard, and his gaze dropped to his hands. “And I need you to start trusting me and what I can do first so this whole thing can work out.” Franklin just blinked, his gaze moving up from his hands.
“I just didn’t want you to get hurt, DD. I’ve seen shit. I—”
“Look, you’re trying to be a good guy.” She interrupted, her tone more understanding now, but still firm. “And you are, you really are.” The way she spoke to him was the softest tone he had ever heard her use. It was light and full of emotion, and her large eyes gazing into his dark brown orbs didn’t make it any less easier for his beating heart. “And I appreciate you and what you do, Frankie. But you have enough shit on your plate and if I needed the space, I would’ve told you. Just keep me in the loop, alright? I’ve got your back just like I always have. Don’t shut me out, Franklin. That’s the last thing I need from you.” She explained to her, her voice bearing into a waver near the end, which was the only thing casing her to stop outing her heart out to the man.
She clamped her lips shut, suddenly feeling naked under his gaze after all the information she’s shared. Expressing her feelings wasn’t something she did often. It wasn’t something she ever really had to. And her doing it know, practically begging one of her friends she’s known her entire life, to not leave made her want to confess the feelings she’s been hiding deep down.
Franklin’s chest tightened as her words sank in, and for the first time, he realized just how much he had underestimated her—how much he’d been treating her like someone she wasn’t. Someone who couldn’t handle the weight of everything she’d already taken on. He just didn’t want her to take on that weight anymore. He wanted to be there for her.
Franklin finally met her gaze, his eyes full of unspoken apology. He wasn’t sure if he could say the words that needed to be said. But in that moment, she knew. That’s how things were between them. Neither of them had to outwardly speak to understand the other. She knew that he hadn’t meant to hurt her. That’s when he realized: he had to stop trying to hide what he felt for her. He wanted her in his life. He needed her to stand with him, side by side, like they always had. In the game or out, he needed to have her by his side because when she was t, things didn’t seem the same.
And for the first time, Franklin knew it wasn’t just about caring for her—it was love. He was in love with her. And her reaching across the table to cup her hands under his, looking down at the slightly sticky plywood as she rubbed her thumbs over the top of his hands, only helped him more with his conclusion. His heart skipped when she looked up and into his eyes, sharing a silent understanding.
I’m not sure if anyone is going to read this at all but I’m gonna post it anyways. I’m also going to continue to write about Damson Idris because he doesn’t have anything on here. Did he do some shady shit that I don’t know about? Or are y’all just not feeling him? Let a sista know.

Same Morning
Hands slightly shaking you to wake up “Baby we made it back, come on wake up.” you look around to be parked out in front of Frankie house, you groan “What time is it?” Kev turns around to look at you “It’s one-thirty.” Frankie nudges you “Come on let’s go inside, my moms is at work right now.” you all get out the car to walk inside, you also see your momma’s car is gone as well ‘I wonder what she’s doing right now’ to walk on the steps to have Frankie opening the door with his keys and opening for you three and closing it, you all walked to frankie’s room, he close his door and walks to grab his mirror on the wall and sets it on his made up bed and opening his backpack and sets the crack on the bed “Alright, Kev, Lee, and Lexi y’all are gonna cut it, I’m gonna bag it.” Lee opens the bag, takes a rock on the mirror, Frankie grabs two razor blades to give the boys to cut it.
It's been a hour since y’all been doing this and your fingers hurt, you kept cracking your knuckles, cutting the rock into smaller rocks and putting in a dime-bags, Frankie is sitting on chair next to his desk putting the small rocks in a large ziplock bag, Lee looking tired “Aye man can’t we get some bitches to do this.” Lee pointing at the crack, Frankie looks at Lee, smilinging “Already did.” you and Kev flips off at Frankie and Lee sucks in his teeth and continues to cut the crack, you turn to Frankie “So how much are we gonna sell these for?” Looking at the small rocks and putting them in a large zip lock bag “ Well we're not gonna sell it, we’re gonna give it away actually.” Frankie stops to look at you, Lee stands up “What? What do you mean we’re not gonna sell for how much crack we have.” Frankie stood up as well. “No one in L.A. knows what this is and we need to make a market for it, and when they do come back we’ll tell them to bring ten for the next day.” Kev looks at the rock “So what’s up you gonna let us try the sample this time?” He groans “Just tell them that is good Kev?” Kev looks back at the rock “Yeah I wanna know how good?” He rolls his and walks to the window and opens it all the way “Aight go ahead on you, but only for you don’t get an addiction to that shit man.” Kev looks for a pipe and holds it up “What do you think, this will work?” You stand up to look at Kev with him putting the rock in the pipe and cracks the lighter.
The three of you are standing in front of him, looking closely as he inhales the smoke, like in slow motion, he blows the smoke out in y’all faces, he falls back with his white bucket hat almost falling off, Lee grabs the pipe and lighter out of his hand, Kev slowly sits on the bed with stumbling back as well, he looks spaced out and starts giggling at the ceiling, Lee shakes his head “I’m good with that.” not wanting to try the product and Lee puts the pipe and lighter down “We gon make bank.” Kev is still dazed out, you walk to him and gently tap him on his face, slowly coming back to earth “Kev you there? Kev.” Once he was back to earth, you walk out the room to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for him, running the faucet and stop it and walking back to the room and closing the door and handing the cup to Kev and he drinks all of it “Aight we gonna finish the batch and once we’re done y’all are gonna go to the projects and give it away.” And it took a few more hours to finish the batch. Once the boys left it was just you and Frankie just sitting on the bed, he stands up to put the rest of the crack under his bed and sitting on the bed with you he rubs your knee, slowly “So what did you want to do now?” his hand reaches up closer to your thigh “I got somethin’ on my mind that I wanna do?”
You lay back on his bed “O my god Frankie you are a fein.” laughing as you say it “How can I not be baby with you lookin’ so good touchin’ your supple thighs and this fat pussy.” He pinches your ass “Ouch that hurt me, I think you have to kiss it now to make it feel better.” he smiles “Oh I can make it feel better, I’ll make you feel better all over, especially right here.” his fingers touching over you jean covered pussy, putting his hand against you, rubbing his fingers slowly, you spread your legs wide, he takes his hand away to start to button your jeans, taking your panties off as well, you sit up to take off your long sleeve off and Frankie takes off his clothes and climbs on top of you, scooting back to his headboard, he stops right in front of you, looking at you “Does that ass still hurt?” you smile “I still think so baby, I need to kiss it.” he grabs your hips to flip you over on your stomach and pull you up with your ass up “Mhmm baby you have such a beautiful ass.” he starts kissing on your ass, working up to your mark, he pecks all over it, he wraps his arms around your legs, you moan “I need you inside of me baby.” he pulls away “Patience baby, I’m a give it to you.” he inches closer to your pussy, feeling his breath on you, his lips touching your pussy, his tongue grazing over your clit “Fuck yeah baby.” he starts moaning into your pussy, feeling the vibration on your clit, wanting more, you push back against his face, he takes his hand to spread your cheeks apart “If you want that ass to feel better, let me eat it.” looking at your forbidden knot “Yes baby, please eat it.” he flattens his tongue up to your ass, he slides his tongue around your knot “Ughh Frankie fuck.” trying to put your hand on head, you keep moaning, he’s eating you from the back, having this new sensation feeling, his lips kissing right on your hole “Fuck baby even this ass taste good.” he keeps eating you, he slides his tongue down to collect the cum that was coming out of you, still working you out, eating you like you were his last meal “Baby I can’t take this shit no more I need you to fuck me.” pleading to him “Nut on my face and then I’ll fuck you baby.” The heat in your stomach, like a stretched out rubber band, pulling on each side and then it snaps, you cum all over his face “ugh-h fuckkk oh shit.” he sucking on your soul “That’s it baby, keep nuttin’ on my face.” and you did, releasing your enesence on his lips, eyes in the back of your head, shaking all over, your legs feel like jello he comes up and kiss your back up to your shoulder, you see his handsome ass all wet of your essence on his face kissing your lips “Fuck baby, you got me so hard right now.” slipping his tongue in yours, tasting yourself while you kiss him.
He slips in without hesitation stroking inside of your walls just hitting your spot over and over and over, he grabs your arms to put them behind your back, leaving you helpless and just taking it. “You are so tight baby…. baby you better take this fuckin’ dick, yeah you like this shit huh? yeah fuck back at me fuck.” moving your hips back to the force that he is giving you, he takes one of hand off of you, he rubs his hand on your cheek and slapping it hard, you scream and he smacks you again and again and moves down to pussy starting to rub your clit “Nut on my fuckin’ dick come on baby, you can do it. Do it for me, I’m right here.” you couldn’t stop moaning, even if you wanted to you couldn’t “Fuckk-k Fra-ankie I th-ink i’m gonna cummm-mm ughh-hh.” a wet splash was coming out of you, making Frankie strokes wetter and hotter “Ooohh shhhi-tt baby, yeah get this….fuckin’ dick…wet….” It’s becoming too much for you, how Frankie is fucking you and rubbing you, you try to jolt away from him “Were you think you goin’? stop runnin’ run me.” he pumps a few more times and releases his cum inside of you, forcing his hips deep inside so nothing would come out, he releases your arms and rolls over on his bed “Does your ass feel better now?” giggling at his joke, sitting up to look at him “Yes it does thank you for making it feel better.”
Same Night
While Kev and Lee are at the projects giving away the crack, you and Frankie change into some fresh clothes Frankie was wearing a red striped multi colored shirt with yellow and brown going across his chest, he grabs his backpack and straps it on and you changed in a light blue crop top and some jean shorts, you both walk to out of his house to walk to his unc’s house to show him a new drug he found, your hands are interlocked, Frankie walks into the house first then you “Wassup nephew, Sup Lexi.” Jerome sees you both coming in and Louie stands up to give you a hug and frankie as well “Aye I wanna show y’all somethin’.” Frankie takes off his backpack and opens the zipper and pours out small rocks of crack on their coffee table “Price point is right. We don’t have to sell it to the white folks or mexicans, off a single key the way we cut it we make fifty-selling nickels. But if it catches on and we set the market, we sell dimes.” Louie looks at Jerome “100,000 off of a single key?” you both nod your head “Uhh-huh. And people will come back, try it if you want to.” Frankie tells Louie “Oh, fuck that, nah I’ve been with fools into freebase that shit is nasty.” Frankie chuckles “All I know is, this will catch on and we could be makin’ seven figures a month.” pointing at the crack. “Allright. We’ll give away your little shit for right now and see how this goes.” Frankie claps his hands, you smile Frankie daps up Jerome and you give him a hug and louie of course and before y’all left Jerome wants to know what Frankie is gonna do when this shit starts poppin’ off, he tells him that he’s thinkin’ on it and Jerome wants he to keep thinkin’ on it and say your goodbyes and walk towards the projects.
“It’s great that your unc said yes, this will help us in the long run.” Frankie grabs your hand to kiss it “Yes it is baby.” you walked on the court to see Kev and Lee still there and waiting for the both of you “Sup man how’s it goin’.” Lee sitting on a table and Kev kicking the basketball with his feet “Told you nigga, some fat-ass hobo pulled a knife on me.” your eyes widened seeing Lee’s chucks had blood all of them “You okay though?” you asked Lee “Yeah goot his blood all over my fucking kicks man.” “Yeah but you good though?” Frankie asked him “Yeah. he ain’t stick me, but you gonna reimburse me for these shoes though.” Frankie lets go over your hand and walks away with a chuckle “Yeah man sure.” Frankie sounded sarcastic “I’ll give you fifty cents, you can walk your ass down to Goodwill.” Furring your brows together not liking how Frankie is talking to Lee and he stands up and walks towards Frankie “Man fuck you.” Frankie turns around “Wait you forreal right now?” Even Though Lee is shorter than Frankie he’s still standing ten toes down “Real as death nigga, and I want a little extra to pay my frayed nerves. Hazard pay.” Kev agrees with Lee “It’s fair Saint I mean we are putting our lives on the line for this thing man.” Frankie is not happy “You wanna talk about lives on the line? I almost died twice since I’ve started this shit.” Lee being fed up “Man, this is nigga full of excuse, but you ain’t but a cheap ass motherfucka.” Frankie laughs “You get poked one time by some junkie ass blade what about me? I’ve been robbed, beat, shot at. You wanna talk about hazard pay, where's my hazard pay, motherfucka.” Looking around you see a crowd forming in, everyone looking at y'all “You know what? Fine, you want some money? Here take some money.” Frankie takes out a band of money and takes some out to throw it Lee’s face. He steps up to Frankie and points his finger in Frankie’s face “Man who do all the fuckin’ killing for you, man?” You and Kev pick up the money on the floor so no one could get it, Frankie not breaking eye contact “Step the fuck back.” Lee keep pushing the issue “But now, you’re some king or some shit. You gonna tell me how to wipe my fuckin’ ass?” Frankie pushes Lee a few steps back “I said step the fuck back!” people groaning at the scene “Frankie stop it.” You tell him and Lee picks up a basketball throws at Frankie and hitting him in the face “Fuck” he yells and Lee picks up Frankie and tackles him, Frankie is hitting Lee on his back and Lee slams him on the ground there are wrestling eachother for the upper hand and just before shit gets out of hand you and Kev break up the fight.
Pulling Frankie off of Lee and pushing him away “You need to calm the fuck down now.” Kev coming into the middle to separate them apart “Hey, back- hey back up man! Cool out man y’all actin’ like some bitches! Fuck.” Frankie not done “We’re sitting on top of a fuckin’ goldmine and if you don’t fuck it up!.” Lee walks away “Man fuck you! and fuck all this shit man!.” and Frankie is still going “Leon Simmons is the man with the fucking plans, huh?” Lee walks away to grab his stereo and leave. You and Kev kept calling Lee to come back and he’s not listening. Now you’re piss at Frankie, not seeing where Lee is coming from and pay him some respect, You turn to Frankie “What the fuck was that shit.” he sighs “Baby, Lee is acting like a bitch right now.” You roll your eyes and put your hand in front of his face “No Franklin the only person that is a bitch right now is you.” and with that you walked back to your house without saying goodbye to them.
Next Morning
You heard your momma walk into your room dress up in her work outfit “Hey sweetie, your awake.” You didn’t get any sleep last night, reliving the fight between Frankie and Lee and Frankie even tried to see you up last night by tapping your window, and you gave him the silent treatment and eventually he left. “Yeah momma, after sleeping over at shon-shon’s I’m glad to be back in my own bed.” you smile at her “Well I’m off to work and I made some dinner last night I made fried chicken and mashed potatoes, it’s in the fridge.” nodding your head “Okay thank you momma, love you” “Love you too sweetie.” and with that your momma left to go to work.
You’ve been relaxing since this morning, not really doing anything and you open all of your windows to have the fresh air going in your room, your pink curtains are blowing in the wind and then you were wearing you pj’s and robe on top you hear Lee banging on the door of the Saint residence “Aye Saint, you home. Man come on, my bad about yesterday all right, open up if you in there let’s squash this shit man. Saint.” Tired of hearing the banging, you get up to your front door to tell Lee that he’s not there, and once you open the door you see Lenny shooting Lee twice, one in the leg and one in the stomach, Lee runs to the back yard to hide out. Lenny runs back to his car to drive off, immediately you close the door to grab a towel from your closet and running out the front door to Frankie’s house and going through the fence to see Lee bleeding out through his tan two-piece, putting the towel on stomach “Leon, your gonna be okay, okay keep your eyes open for me.” Putting pressure on the wound and the blood on your hands and you take off your robe to wrap it around Lee's leg to stop the bleeding, his eyes closing in with heavy breathing and Frankie comes running outside to see both of you bloody as shit “Motherfucka caught me slippin’ man.” Frankie takes off his light blue button up shirt to put it over your towel, with Frankie fast thinking he runs inside to call an ambulance and they need to hurry up “I don’t wanna die lexi, I don’t wanna die.” with tears coming out of his eyes “You’re not gonna die, I’m not gonna let that happen. just keep your eyes open for me.” Frankie says that they're on their way and with just a whisper Lee says “The crack, the crack, hide the crack.” You both look at each other “Fuck!” and Frankie runs back inside of the house to grab all the drugs in his room and stuffing it in his backpack and he runs back outside, looking for somewhere to stash it “Put it in my room Frankie hide it in my closet.” Frankie hops over the fence and jumps through your window, putting his bag away in your closet and putting clothes on top it and coming back. You both are putting pressure on his wounds “They’re on their way Lee.” Hearing the sirens coming closer to the house “I don’t wanna die.” you both say “You’re not gonna die.”
The ambulance stopping in front of the house and the paramedics coming with a gurney, they put Lee on it and run back to the ambulance and drive to the hospital. Two cops pull up to the house for questions, “So what happened?” one of the cops asked, ready to write everything down you looked dazed with Lee’s blood all over you, Frankie speaks for the both of you “We were just chillin at my girls house and then we heard gunshots. so I walked outside to see and then Lexi look at her window and we saw Lee layin’ on the ground and that’s when we came.” “And ma’am, what did you see?” the other cop asked, you look up at him “Yeah we were just relaxin’ in my room, and then we heard gunshots, it scared the shit of us, and looked out my window to see Lee on the ground.” “And did you get a look on the shooter, maybe see who it was?” you both said no.
Even though you both know who it was. “Alright let’s go to the station so this can be reported, you guys can change before we leave.” Frankie walks back inside to put on his red stripe shirt back on, he comes back to see your still standing there, he puts a hand on your lower back “Come on baby let’s get you change.” you silently nod your head and start walking to your house. Walking through the front door and leaving it open for him, he closes it, still walking to your room and sitting on the bed, Frankie comes in to your room and a fresh shirt and shorts for to change, he grabs your shirt to lift it up and over your head and puts the clean one on, still daze on what happen with Lee praying that he is still alive, he takes off your shorts and outs the clean one on “Okay baby we need to get our story straight before we go there baby?” you look at him, tears swelling up in your eyes and coming down on your face, he wraps his arms around you pulling you in almost like you couldn’t breathe “Let’s just say we’re in your room, just chillin’ and that’s when we heard the gunshots coming from my house.” you nod your head “Okay baby let’s go.” he pulls away and smiles at you, grabbing your hand to walk back to the cops.

Four Months Later
The business is going good, really really good. You and Frankie were the only ones that was allowed back to Avi’s place from now on, walking into the cookhouse to see Louie stirring the mason jar, you grabbed a black bandana and wrap it over your nose then tying it behind your head and grabbing kitchen gloves, then pouring equal parts of the baking powder and coke in the mason jar with a little bit of water and stirring in the water. Lee and Kev were breaking up the large rocks into smaller rocks then bagging them, Jerome, Peaches and a couple of other guys were bagging the rocks in chip bags. Once your shift was done, you went to the ice cream truck, had ice cream for the kids and rock for the adults. As the kids were coming up for the ice cream and the adults would walk around back to get their rock
Peaches is tying up the bags of money in the truck, while you and him were sitting on the car waiting for everybody to finish up, getting back to Jerome’s house he unlocks the backroom with two deadbolts behind it, Frankie opens it to show the back wall is in containers of money and Jerome dumps bags of money on the table, Jerome leaves to grab more bags of the money and left you and Frankie to count it.
Couple weeks later
Today is Franklin Saint's birthday. The man is turning the big 20. He wanted to do something small with just his family, friends and of course you. The gift you got him was a gold chain with the word ‘Saint’ in the middle and a fresh pair of white sambas with light blue stripes going on the sides. You had them both wrapped in birthday paper sitting next to you.
Once he enters to Jerome’s house seeing Lee making out with Wanda, he takes of his dark blue jacket, showing off his white shirt, blue and green shoulders and the color going across his chest, he sees you in the corner and Kev stops in his tracks “Ladies, I would like y’all to meet Franklin Saint aka our savior aka the big black apostle.” He smiles “Franklin’s fine, alright, nice to meet you ladies.” all the ladies smile at him, and one of them is staring a little too hard. Frankie walks away to greet Jerome “What’s up unc?” Jerome puffs out some smoke “Sup nephew.” He grabs some chips and starts eating them and sees you sitting on the couch “What you doin’ here alone?” you couldn’t wait to show Frankie what you got him, you pick up your large gift first and you handed it to Frankie “Happy birthday baby.” he looks down at the gift and takes the large gift and takes a seat next to you, opening his gift of a red adidas box carefully to see a pair of white sambas with a light blue stripes going across “Holy shit baby, you know I can never get enough with these shoes.” Frankie has been collecting sambas shoes for a while, the boy has a damn near obsession. He gives you a kiss “Thank you baby.” you smile “Your welcome baby, but I have one more gift.” you bend down to grab the smaller gift, your back was exposing to him showing your purple waist beads, you were wearing a black backless dress and black wedges with your necklace on display.
Suddenly you find your next gift, you handed it to him he opens the gift to see the gold chain with the words ‘Saint’ written on it, he holds it in his hands not saying anything “Do you like Frankie?” he turns to you “Of course baby I love it thank you really.” you kiss him on the lips “Your welcome baby.” Louie walks into the family room wearing a red long romper, Jerome slams his hand on the table “Goddamn! I don’t know how you got the energy.” Louie takes a couple twenty’s in her bag “If I got to spend my time my days in that cookhouse. I sure as hell ain’t spending my nights in here.” Jerome yells and takes a sip of his drink “Hey Peaches! Hey hey make sure she get to the club aight.” “Bye Jerome.” “Give me a kiss.” Jerome smacks her ass “Give Claudia a kiss for me too.” Louie looks back “I will if you want to.” “Tell her to come see my tree!” Louie laughs “She ain’t wanna see your tree, but she do like pie though…. I tell her that y’all said hi too.” you smile at Frankie “Come on, put it on.” he open the clasp and lock it behind his neck, as it lays there resting on his second button “What’chu think?” You rest your fingers to touch his necklace the smooth golden in cursive of his last name “I love it on you baby, the jeweler did a really good job gold is definitely your color.” he smiles at you showing his pearly white teeth he grabs your hand “Come on let’s go to our room.”
As you enter to the guest room Frankie starts kissing your neck feeling his gold rubbing against your neck, he spins you around to take you in his lips he slips off your dress and takes off his shirt to only have his necklace on he pulls down his khakis pants to show his red plaid boxers you push him on the bed you climb on top and makes out with him he grabs your ass and flips you over slowly takes off his boxers and starts to stroke himself he lowers himself on his stomach to face your pussy he leans down to kiss your soft inner thighs “I should be givin’ you head today it’s your birthday.'' he looks up “You right it’s still my birthday and one of my wishes is to eat you out.” he dips his head his tongue sliding all over your pussy he moans all over it. Loud banging was coming from down the hall. It sounds like Jerome is yelling “Open the gooddamn door! The fuck is wrong with you.” you put on your dress and Frankie puts on his boxers to see what the hell is happening Frankie opens the door first to see Jerome busting through his room to Kev with two girls in his bed Jerome grabs his shoe and smack one of the girls ass “Oh you wanna fuck in my house nigga.” and start smacking Kev he was naked to only have his bucket hat to cover himself he runs out of the room and down the stairs and Jerome chasing him “Grab his ass!” they both pass you, Frankie, Lee and you all laugh “Is that your birthday Franklin?” he smiles “Yeah and I was showing Lexi how thankful I was.” you smack his shoulder Lee sticks out his tongue out in disgust “Leon what’s taking you so long?” coming from Wanda inside of the room Lee touches his shoulder to say good night to him and Frankie copies “Good night Lee.” “Good night Lex.”
You both get undressed to get back on the bed you rest your head on the pillows spreading your legs “I think you want to finish what you started, birthday boy.” he smirks “I ain’t no boy, I'm older than you now.” He climbs on top of you his necklace dangling in front of your face your eyes switch back and forth to his face and neck “Well if I’m the birthday boy then I’m about to make to make one of my wishes come true.” you rise on your elbows “Can you tell me one of your wishes?” He pulls closer to your face grazing your lips “If I tell you. Then it won’t come true and one of my wishes will definitely come true.” kissing your lower stomach moving down to your pussy dragging his tongue to touch your clit and down to your lips and your softest walls gripping the sheets his hands grip your thighs to hold you in your place, your hands find their way to his hair your fingers touching his tight coils “Fuck baby oohh ughh shit.” Pants and moaning coming out of you he moans into your pussy feeling the vibration “That’s right baby you fuckin’ nut on my face.” Frankie slips his hands to your knees bending you in half seeing him admiring your pussy and let’s a long drop of saliva on your warm pussy before you could realize he is deeper in your pussy getting your juices all over his face the wetness leaking out of you then you try to fight back with closing your legs but there was no use you couldn’t win even if you wanted to. You continue to grind against his face he ate you up like you were his last meal he kept moving his face to rhythm of your hips your waist beads were riding up to the middle of your soft tummy once he felt you relax under grip he slowly rise to grab a small washcloth to clean up the excess of you and throws it in the dirty hamper “Thank you for my wish baby.” he kiss you “I’m still not tired.” you rolled on your stomach to crawl to where he was and opened your mouth to take him in your mouth “What do you say to the birthday boy baby?” you mumble ‘Thank you’ you look up to him to see that he is already looking at you “Stretch that throat baby I wanna fuck your throat.” you relax your throat to take him deeper feeling his slighty over gown bush touching your nose “Fuck-kk baby you’re taking me soo goo-od.” his chest is puffing out taking deep breaths and even deeper moans “I wanna see your eyes baby, let me see your eyes baby.” his hips strokin’ out of your mouth his necklace catching your eyes resting on his chest with his new accessory he fo’real could be a male model with the looks he was givin’ you, he grips the back of your head you grip his ass to bring him closer and cumming in your throat “Fuckkk baby I’m bout to nut baby ohh fuck.” there was so much sliding down your mouth tasting his musky and clean nut you take one more swallow to taste all of him “I’m glad to spend your birthday Frankie.” he grabs your face to pull you in a sloppy wet kiss “I’m glad too baby.”
A few days later you get an unexpected call to from Avi saying he wanted to do a another pickup “Just sayin’ a little heads up would be nice.” he’s holding a duffle bag of forty-two thousand dollars and Avi puts his arms up “But I like seeing you Frankie and the beautiful Lexi…eve-even Leon here is growing on me.” He pats on Lee’s shoulder “You know how stressful it is to ride through Encino with this much fuckin’ coin in the car?” Avi walks over to his bar “Okay, maybe Leon is not growing on me show much. I got a few ounces lying around somewhere so you don’t feel like you wasted your time. Muir go to the stash see what you can find for Frankie.” the gunman walks away “You got it.” Avi takes a sip of his drink “You know not too long ago you were happy with just a few hundred dollars.” “How we grow huh?” “Like weeds. Hey, on Friday both of you come over for shabbat dinner, wear a nice coat.” Avi pulls on his jacket “Come on Franklin and Alexia, you both have money now, get yourself a nice coat and flowy dress to match.” He puts his hand on Avi’s shoulder one of the gunmen comes back running back “Avi! Avi!” the men are scattering around trying to hide the drugs and the money “Hey what’s goin’ on?” you turned to look at Frankie “What did he say?” Frankie asking around Avi is speaking in hebrew to the gunmen to calm down “LAPD! HANDS UP LAPD.” He pats on your shoulder to run from the cops one of them starts chasing you “Right there! Don’t move!” you run around the house to see a fence blocking you Frankie throws the duffle bag over the fence and hops over it effortlessly you climb the fence and Lee pushes you over the fence to escape you run to Frankie and see Lee getting handcuff “You thought you can run from me punk ass kid.” Lee puts his hands on his head “Shut the fuck up.” and gets dragged back to the house.
Frankie finds a payphone to make a call to Jerome “What’s up nephew, you heard anything from Avi.” Frankie hands you the duffle bag “Hey unc and Avi got raided the cops came and they got Leon.” Frankie kept nodding his head and listening to Jerome and hangs up the phone “Jerome wants us to meet Tyrone, he's a lawyer.” Jerome was already there waiting for the both of you he walks up to Jerome and Frankie opens the car door setting it on the ground, walking into the office there was a lightskin man in a suit named Tyrone and a darkskin man named Biscuit and sitting on the table behind him “Apparently your boy’s in business with a babe ruth motherfucker, that dude Avi? Hitting him with possession with intent to go along with a hefty gun charge?” Biscuit spoke up “intrems y’all lame-asses can understand. That boy fucked” your eyes shift to Tyrone “What about Leon?-” you get cut off by Biscuit “Hit him with a 69-PC.” “The fuck is a 69PC?” Jerome turns to Biscuit “Felony evading.” Jerome puts his hands out “Why the fuck you ain’t just say that then?” Biscuit kept looking at Jerome “Cause I’m a fuckin’ professional J-rome.” “No you’s a moron Biscuit.” Tyrone trying to calm them down “Now the bad news is your boy got priors and because it’s a felony bail is fifty.” Jerome looks in shock “Thousands?” Biscuit looks fed up “Ain’t fifty hundred nigga.” Jerome looks at Biscuit “I want him out.” “Gonna need ten percent down cash, collateral, whatever.” Jerome sucks in his teeth “Shit fifty thousand ain’t shit.” Biscuit and Tyrone make quick eye contact “Yeah it is, it’s a lot Jerome actually I’m need a minute to get that for you.” “Aye ain’t my boy on there, do what you gotta do.” You all walk out of the office to Jerome’s car “Nephew you got the fifty gs right now, let’s get this shit done.” He turns around “Avi and Leon are locked up and we spent the whole day running around Enico with forty-two gs in a duffle bag, trying to find a cab or a bus before the cops found the both of us.” Getting in the car “So yeah maybe I’m a little on edge.” Jerome takes his cigarette out “Well with Avi in the clink you know where we can find some more coke?” Frankie just stares off into the distance as Jerome pulls off to the courthouse.
It’s been a few hours since Lee has been locked up and Frankie decided to get him out that day you were sitting on the rail with Kev in front of the courthouse with Jerome and Frankie “Aye he still ain’t out?” Jerome was pacing back and forth “Any minute man Tyrone is in there now-” Kev cuts off Frankie “Where was I?” Kev was wearing a red adidas tracksuit “Uhhh, you was getting ready to ruin the rest of the fuckin’ movie.” He puts his hands in his pockets “Damn right and he go ‘Say hello to my little friend’ doing finger guns imitating gunshots “Yo he bad, I seen this shit twice” Jerome still pacing around “So he lived?” you look at Kev for his answer “What nah man, everybody in that motherfucka died. What’s up Jerome you got crabs or something?” he flinging his arms around “I don’t like being around this motherfucka gooddamnit.” Lee and Tyrone walk out of the courthouse “Ahhh this fool.” “So when you drop the soap, do you bend over to pick it up or do you squat? Like how does that work?” you all go into a fit of laughter filling up in your tummy Lee shakes his head “This motherfucker.” “Hey y’all make sure this little nigga don’t run, you hear?” “Who the fuck you talkin’ to?” Lee deepens his voice “Aight playa. Look y’all need me again and it sounds like you will, you know where I’m at.” Frankie shakes Tyrone hand and walks away you walk up to Lee to give him a hug “Thanks for pushing me over you know I can’t hop no fence.” “Yeah no probs I wasn’t gonna let you go to holding.” Frankie wraps his arms around Lee and starts walking “They sweat you hard?” “Some.” “You give them my social?” “Name, number address.” “Appreciate that, man. So what you want, huh? Drink? Lap dance?” Frankie pushes Lee to the front “Wanda didn’t wanna come with y’all, huh?” “Oh nah man, she was havin’ a little trouble walking spent a little time with her while you was gone.” you all laugh at his joke “Oh, you wanna to fuck with me after I just got out, huh?” “Nah we wanted to fuck with us.” Pointing at all of you “Oh really? So I have to beat all y’alls ass huh?”
It’s late in the night and you were sleeping with Frankie in the spare room you had a his red and white baseball shirt on and some panties with your bonnet Frankie his arm over your tummy pulling you closer in his dreams he was wearing a undershirt and blue boxers to cover you both in a yellow blanket that you took from your house. Two loud bangs ring through the house and the sound of smash glass hitting the floor screaming to the extent of your heart exploding “AAHHH!” Frankie jumps up to grab his gun from under his pillow and runs to the family room you quickly chase after him to see as well “HEY WHAT THE MOTHERFUCK!” coming from Jerome and “WHAT THE FUCK!’ from Louie you all see each other in the room Frankie running in front of you to shoot his target, there were two bodies laying on the ground with ski masks. Peaches has his gun pointing down to the ground “There we go, Peaches.” Jerome cheers to him and walking to the window “What the fuck happened?” you looked at all of the broken glass “How they get in?” “Back door.” Peaches says it sarcastically “Somebody didn’t lock that shit. Somebody left that shit unlocked.”Louie runs back to the back door and Frankie went to go check the windows “They jimmied the shit.” Frankie yells “And Peaches you aint hear it? And so what you just kill some motherfuckas in my house, you ain’t wanna scare them first?” Louie getting louder and louder by the second “What you gonna do that for?” Jerome yells at Louie “I ain’t asking you!” Louie waving her hand in Jerome’s face “Well I’m answering you!” you put your hands out the to hush them “Stop! Fucking stop. Keep your voices down. Who the fuck are they?” you step back to see the faces of the dead men Jerome lifts up the mask “It’s motherfuckin’ Biscuit.” your heart drops to your stomach almost feeling nauseous Frankie lifts up the mask “That ain’t Tyrone.” Jerome walks over to see “That’s Jamal, that’s Biscuit older brother.” Frankie walks closer to Jerome “Biscuit’s older brother, who’s paranoid now, unc? I told you not to mention that fuckin’ money!” Jerome snaps his fingers at him “They wouldn’t even thought twice about this shit if you ain’t make a big deal of it, goddamn!” you walk up to Jerome “Jerome why did you even bring it up? you should of never said anything!” Louie steps in front of Frankie “And I told you not to keep that fuckin’ money in our house!” “Wanna talk about this now!” Frankie yells in Louie’s face “Hey if nosy-ass Shirley heard the shots, then the cops is probably on the way now, so now what you gonna do?” Frankie slams his gun on the table “Fuckk.” There was silence not knowing what to do you try to turn your wheels but you were still tired “Me and Jerome go load up the bodies, drive ‘em out, bury ‘em, you three stay here and clean this shit up. Sun rises, this never happened.” Peaches says it with a calming voice and there was another silence “I’m with that shit. Come on.” Jerome walks into his room to go get dressed “This shit is fuckin’ crazy.” You and Frankie go back to the room to put on your clothes.
Frankie comes back inside from throwing the last trash bag away and washes his hands in the sink then comes into the living room to clean the last piece of the glass and throwing it away then taking a seat a the table Louie folds her arms “Why they ain’t back yet?” “Gotta dig. Shit takes time.” he takes a seat with you “How you know?” Your thoughts traced back to Karvel the way your bones were shaking after burying him and how you all had to take turns to dig deep enough for a his body he gives you a quick glance “This house ain’t never gonna be the same.” Louie pulls her chair out and sitting on it “You know, we should probably get some bars on the windows.” “And some new doors.” A knock on the door breaks everyone’s thought and looks at a figure at the door “That them?” Frankie sits up “Nah, they wouldn’t knock you expecting somebody?” “At eight in the morning?” Louie looks at Frankie crazy. He walks closer to the door and peeking through the window “Aw shit.” “Who is it?” you stand up and ask Frankie he puts the gun in the couch and grabs a jacket to cover his blood stain undershirt “One second.” He opens the door and see Melody “Mel what’s up?” “Hey Franklin I wanted to wish you a happy birthday even though I couldn't see you on the actual day.” Her eyes look straight a you “And I wanted to give you this.” Melody pulls out a light blue card with his name on it. “Thanks Mel, I wanted to ask you if you or Andre talk to my mom’s at all?” “She and my dad spend some time together, I see her here and there.” Frankie leans more on the door “How she doin’ ?” Melody look in disbelief “How she doin’? Her heart is broken, Franklin. How you think she’s doing?” Frankie slams the door in front of Melody’s face and walks to the side yard and throws the letter away.
Back at the cookhouse everyone was there even the bodyguards “Coke is officially gone, we got enough of rock maybe another day or two but that’s it.” Louie puts out her cigarette Frankie is getting frustrated “What about you Rob?” “You know how hard it is to find someone to get you more than two kilos a week who isn’t full of shit. He’s trying to rip you off, he’s trying to kill you-” you roll your eyes, sitting next to Jerome “Yeah yeah whatever, man. Anything for you two?” Lee says “Nigga, you want a chopped up key for twenty-five grand? Guy just a motherfucka.” Kev looks at him “Nigga it was your connect. I mean it’s like the white boy, Rob say.” Jerome laughs “There’s a lotta bullshit out here, Frankie.” He puts his hand behind his head and puts them on the table “Okay. First thing in the morning, we head up to Oakland. Visit Swim get enough rock to tide us over. Maybe even talk our way into they connect. Set up a pipeline south. That’s what we do.” he taps on the table “I’m down.” Lee nods his head “Same.” Kev lights his cigarette, he looks at you and you nod your head “Good, get some rest man. We’ll link up at Jerome’s in the morning.” He pats on his unc shoulder you stand up to walk with him to his 1982 Silver Toyota Celica he opens your side first to let you in and rounds to his side and gets in the car pulling out to slowly drive back to Jerome’s house the radio filled up the silence between you too the groovy music playing he taps his fingers to the beat of the music you sway your head to the beat as well his fingers grazed over your pink adidas tracksuit moving his fingers to your inner thigh when he had to turn on a street he uses both hands to turn the steering wheel hearing the music to keep say ‘Keep on doin’ it, Keep doin your thing.’
Hearing another car screeching on Frankie’s side and hitting you both, your body moves with the crash thankfully you had seatbelt on your head hurts feeling groggy from it then some white man comes out of his car and walks up to him “O my god dude I’m so sorry hey how’s your neck?” “It-s’s good.” a taser coming to him tase in the neck and putting a cloth over his nose to him to sleep you unbuckle and try to get out of the car the white man see you and puts the cloth over your mouth and puts you to sleep as well then fading to darkness.
You were dreaming you slowly raise up to see him sitting on the patio and reading the newspaper wearing nothing but a long gray robe you slowly rose from your bed and see tall skyscrapers next to you looking down to see your two beautiful kids both of them was a copy of him and you their were sleeping peacefully and holding there stuff animals you grabbing your matching short gray robe off the hanger in your walk-in closet and wrap around your body and as you walk to him saying in your morning voice “Good morning baby.” he sets down his newspaper and poke his lips out for a kiss uncontrollably you do “Good morning sweetcheeks.” you giggle “Sweetcheeks? Nigga you know you’ve never called me that?” you sit on his lap and give him an another kiss softly resting your fingers on necklace and you hear a another voice in your head “Lexi wake up, come on baby just wake up for me. Leon come on Lee.” It was Frankie. You pull your lips back away from Frankie and you heard it again “Fuckkk come on Alexia wake up please.” You slowly open your eyes and you look to see that you were handcuff with your hands behind you to a pole “Lexi is that you, you okay?” Seeing Frankie handcuff and craning his neck to look at you “Yeahh my fuckk my head hurts, where the fuck are we Frankie?” “I-I don’t know baby?” and another groan coming from the front of the basement “Hey Leon…Leon is that you?” “Yeah man what the fuck is goin’ on? Aw hell nah I fuckin’ pissed my pants.” You tug on the handcuffs “Hey where were you grabbed?” Lee groans “I was walking home and some white dude asked me for directions but… I don’t know man?” Your throat was dry you didn’t how long you were out for “Did any of you get a good look you at him.” “No Frankie.” “No not really my motherfuckin’ head hurt.” You hear whistling and someone coming come the down the stairs “Hey how many out there?” “I -don’t know, I only seen one.” the man comes to the tall gate and locks it with a key and enters then emerging the same white man that hit you with his car “You punk motherfucka. On my momma, I’m going to kill you when I get loose. You hear me, you fucking worm? I’ma kill you!” Leon yells at the white man he waves his finger in a no and leaves and to go come back with a long taser stick “What the fuck is this? What the fuck are you going to do with that?” the man walks to Lee and tase him with it “What the fuck -ow fuck!” the electricity runs through Lee’s body. You and Frankie begs for the man to stop “Hey man please stop.” you try to kick your feet at him “Hey hey! Stop man.” you stuck your feet out to trip him he stumbles almost catching his balance “Bitch.” you say to the man and the man walks over to you to tase you as well your muscle tighten up you couldn’t do anything but scream and groan.
“Tell me about the bust.” “What?” Frankie sounds confuse “Tell me about the bust.” “The bust?” “Tell me about the bust.” “What bust?”he looks down at the taser “Oh fuck.” “At Avi’s.” “It was nothing man, we showed up at Avi’s to buy, fuckin’ cops showed up, we ran. That’s it.” “It’s the truth he’s not lying.” you groaned out “Oh yeah, that’s right, right and you too got away.” “Yeah that’s right.” “Right.” the man walks in front of him “But he didn’t.” “Right?” “He didn’t get away. And yet, somehow… twenty-four hours later, he’s out. Free as bird. How?” “What you think we lyin’ to you?” “He didn’t snitch man.” and Lee yells “Hey kiss my ass I ain’t talk to no motherfuckin’ police.” “All right check with the courts, you don’t belive me just check with the courts man. He charge with felony evading, man and I bailed him out and he didn’t snitch he’s got a lawyer. A court date, it’s all legit.” the man nods his head and taps the taser on his shoulder “I’ll check, we’ll see okay?” as the man pass and and Lee he kicks his feet out to try to trip him, the man moves his feet out of the way “Best to back the fuck up with that shit.” the man steps closer to him “Oh, I would love it if you do that one more time, do it.” and points the taser in his face “You are the stupidest person I’ve ever met.” and then the man leaves and lockes the tall gate
It feels like it’s been hours the man comes back “Your right, Leon Simmions was arrested for evading and resisting, Out on bail.” “We already told you that, dumbass. Now let us the fuck go.” your shoulder were aching to the point you were couldn’t even feel them anymore the man leaves to go grab something “Where the fuck is he going? Hey just be cool, man just relax man, we gonna get out this shit. ” the man comes back with putting a clip in a gun and walks towards Frankie “Hey! Hey, what are you doin’, what are you doin’ man?” “We’re not fucking lying.”you look at the man “You said we were telling the fucking truth!” Lee craning his neck to look at him “Yeah, no, I believe that you’re telling the truth. That’ll help me sleep… but now you three have seen my face.” “I-I can’t see you fuckin’ face.. Huh we still don’t know who you are. Won’t tell a soul about this shit.” “Come on, you have to think I’m pretty stupid to believe that, wouldn’t you?” Frankie takes a breath and begins to smile “Okayy…. I’ve got a ton of fucking cash huh, I’ve got a lot of money I could offer you-”the man shakes his head “That’s not worth it to me.” “Then what is?” “See if you knew the answer to that question, you might be of some use to me. But seeing as how you’re not even smart enough to figure out who I am, I’m afraid there is no benefit to me letting you live .” the man is pointing the gun at him “Do you work for Avi?”the man shakes his head in a “No.” “Man, if you don’t work for Avi then why the fuck do you care if we snitched?” “Hey man, fuck it Franklin. Piece of shit going to put us down like dogs, fuck him.” “Shut the fuck up Leon!” you both say “You’re trying to stay alive, that’s not the way.” the man cocks the gun back and puts the gun under Lee’s chin and grabbing his hair “Fuck you fuck you fuck you.” “Come on, Franklin. Think about it. I’m gonna shoot him.” you try to move your arms but it was no use “Gonna put a bullet in his brain. Who am I, Franklin? Who am I!” you see a light bulb go off in his head “You’re the connect!” The man lets go of Lee and stands up walks over to Frankie and gives him a smile “You’re the plug. The guy we was looking for.” the man pulls out photo of Rob sitting in his car “You trying to cut Avi out?” “Avi’s a crazy person, and he upped the prices. It’s stupid to want to pay less and deal with somebody sane?” “No Franklin, It’s stupid to trust a stoner kid to get it done.” Lee turns to say “Whitey got a point.” “Shut up, man. Look, you’ve lost a buyer and I’m out of my supply. Why don’t we help each other out.” the plug laughs at Frankie “Come on you were selling dimebags on the street corner six months ago. You’re gonna take Avi’s place?” Frankie not breaking his concentration “I’d like to try. How much you sellin’ to Avi?” the plug stands up “A lot more you can than you can move, kid.” “At the right prices, I could move six a week, easy.” the plug shakes his head “Eh, six won’t even make a dent.” Frankie thinks “Ten, then.” you lift your head to look at him “ten a week. Hmm that will help you out?” Frankie looks at you quickly “How are you going to move ten keys in a week.” He looks at the gun “Put that away… and iI’ll tell you.” the plug turns “Convince me and I’ll put it away.”
“And once we figured out how to rock it up and sell it for cheap, we were sellin’ more and more. We got dealers spreading out all over my neighborhood, we expanding every week.” he talks to the plug “ “What do you do with your cash?” “Storing it for now. I’ve been growing a business.” “Security?” he nods “We got plenty.” “Fuck is this? A job interview? You got a supply, we want to buy. What more is there.” You roll your eyes “He’s just being careful. Wants to know if we foreal. Which we are.” “What’s the high like? This rock?” “Short and intense then you need more right away.” “You speaking from experience?” “Nah man I don’t deal with none of that shit.” “You’ll never turn me down, now excuses, no bullshit. I show up with ten keys every week. Do you understand?” “Yes.” “And you see what happens to people who fuck with me?’ “Hey we good? Because I’ve got to use the fucking bathroom or I’m piss my pants.” The plug pulls out a switchblade and cuts Lee loose. Once he got out of the bathroom he lets you and Frankie loose, your shoulders finally relax and you slowly got up the plug hands you black bag “Put that on, I trust you three understand why this place needs to be kept secret.” he squats down to grab something and said “What’s your name?” ”Richard Nixon. No I’m kidding it’s Reed Thompson.” he stands up “Reed Thompson and how do I get in contact with you, Reed Thompson.” he stuffs something in his pocket and walks towards you and pulls you to follow him “You don’t. I contact you.” as Reed walked out and you all followed him “Well that don’t won’t work for me.” Reed puffs out some air “I’m sorry?” and put his arms out and keep walking “We talkin’ a lot of money and product, man you know everything about me, I don’t know shit about you.” As you kept walking through the underground facility with pipes everywhere “Yeah, that’s because you don’t need to know anything about me except that I can supply you.” to seeing a tall and long hallway it was dimly light with tall windows at the top of the ceiling. “Where’d you get your product?” Reed raises his eyebrows “Why?...So you can cut me out now?” “Come on, man. Put yourself in my shoes, you get T-boned, electrified, thrown in the shithole, gun in your face and now what?” he walks right next to Reed and looks back at you and back at Reed “You’re supposed to go along with some crazy-ass deal? How am I supposed to trust you?” “trust is overrated.” “Not to me.” Frankie side-eyeing Reed “Are you always going to be this big pain in my ass?” you nodded your head “Yeah, he is.” “Look, you can’t afford to walk away from this deal, you don't have any leverage.” Reed stops in front of a door “Right, but I will if I have to.” Reed smiles at him his thick mustache resting on his thin lips “Help me sleep at night, Reed Thompson.” “Put your hoods on.” he tells all of you to do Lee puts it on first then you and Frankie, looking through a black bag and you can’t see shit. Hearing a car opening and having him push you in and closing it.
It’s been twelve hours since anybody has seen any of you and everybody was trippin’, Rob was all calling every south central hospital and emergency room and Jerome was loading up his pistol gettin’ ready for war, Kev and his little cousin Delory comes in with his friend Victor saying “There’s the mexican lady that wants to know how to make a whole sale with Franklin, her name is Lucia Villanueva she’s from Pico-Union.”Jerome perk up and wanted to know why was they selling to the mexicans, Jerome puts his foot down with them “You know what tell all you fuckin’ corner boys to stop selling in Pico-Union!” and grabs Delory by the shoulder to push him out and screamed “Fuck you lookin’ at fat boy.” at Victor, Jerome checks Kev to get the boys out of Pico-union eventually Lee was drop off to go back to Jerome’s house and tell everybody the news, everybody was in a frenzy when they saw him, asking him if he was okay and if he was hurt, he tells them “I just need to take a shower and change my clothes.” Kev touches Lee's shoulder “Where the hell you been at him? You smell like piss, aye Jerome we need towels or something.” Louie is anxious waiting for you and Frankie to show up, she turns to Rob “Franklin and Lexi, need to walk through this door right fuckin’ now.”
Pulling into a airport that was reserved for private planes, Reed parks and steps out of the car, Frankie is seating in the front seat and you are in the back seeing a jet parked in an aviation lot walking closer and seeing somebody working on the plane “Hey Matt. I want you to meet one of our new customers.” a another white man steps of the plane and cracks a beer open takes a swig of it and walking in the lot and get closer to the jet “This is Franklin and Alexia, Franklin and Alexia this is Matt he’s my pilot.” Matt walks to him and shakes hands with him “Nice to meet you both.” you get closer to Matt and shake his hand as well “Same here.” you nod in agreement “You wanted to know we bring it in.” Reed staying back “This your own plane? How far does it fly?” Frankie looks inside of it seeing all of the controls and buttons and back at them “Well, with the weight stripped out, and the auxiliary fuel tanks and about twenty-two thousand nautical miles…give or take? Far enough.” you turned to Matt “How y’all two know each other?” then looking at Reed “Uh, we met at this bar of this little cafe up near the Agua Dulce Airport. You’ve ever been up there? Antelope Valley?” he starts walking closer to all of you “Have any of you ever been up in one of these small planes?” “Nah man, we never ever been on a plane.” Matt puts hands out “Hold on for a second! Y’all have not experienced the greatest thrill a man or woman can have besides, obviously, banging a regional cocktail waitress, well shit’s about to change.” Matt takes off his sunglasses to look at him and you, Matt walks away to grab his jacket and his beer.
You sat in the back of the jet behind Matt with Frankie sitting in the front seat, Matt gets in and takes a another swig of his beer “You always drink when you fly?”he looks at Matt close on his side of the plane “Always.” “How’s this thing stay in the air?” you heart was beating a little too fast for you, taking deep breaths to slow down your heat rate “Uhhh ...luck? mostly?” you turn to see headsets for the plane, you put them over your ears and squishing down on your afro “It’s actually physics.” Matt puts on the headphones and so does Frankie “Ever crashed?” “Oh yeah, all the time.” Matt smiles sarcastically “He’s kidding.”Reed talks over the radio “Listen kid, relax nobody does anything better than I fly.”Matt cuts on the jet and starts driving it runway, he slowly picks up speed and once he got to a certain speed the jet started to lift “Hold on boys and girl and here we go.” Once Matt got in the air a voice was coming through the headphones “Tower to forty-one Foxtrot, radar contact. Fly heading two three zero. Climb and maintain two thousand.” Matt talks over the radio “forty-one Foxtrot to tower, heading two three zero climbing and maintaining two thousand feet, thank you tower. Forty-one AMF out.” Frankie turns back to Reed “Aye-. who he talkin’ to?”he looks back to Reed “Hawthorne Tower, but we get far enough out, and we check in with someone else.” looking through the glass and down at the ocean, seeing it at this height the waves went so far “Yup, you are never alone when you’re up here Franklin.Don’t ever say this country doesn’t have it’s moments” Matt says in the radio, you see him leaning over the glass to see more of the ocean, a little smile going across his lips “So are they tracking us the whole time?” looking over to Reed “Yup….but there are ways around it if need be.” Reed looks back at you “Yeah, going low is the mainway.” Matt forwards the steering wheel down and drops the plane down and heart falls straight down to your ass, you clench your fingers to a handlebar squeezing it so tight that they almost turn a different color, you couldn’t help yourself but to laugh in this moment “Please don’t do that again. What the fuck man?” He says in a shaky laugh “So after you pick up the product, how you bring it back to the country?” Frankie looking back at Reed “Hey Franklin, ask me one more question?” Reed pulls the headphones back off of Frankie head “I’m going to throw you out of this fucking plane!” Frankie belts a hearty laugh “I could do this all day.” Matt taps on Frankie’s leg “Go ahead and take a yoke.” Matt lifts his hands up “Nahhh.” Frankie shakes his head “Yeah man grab that fucker right now.” he lifts his hands closer to the steering wheel “Not that!” Matt screams over the radio he jumps back “I’m just kidding, grab that, grab that. Come on and fly this plane pilot.” Frankie turns to look back at you and gives you a small smile and turned back to the front and grabs the wheel “All right, all right I got it.” he steadies the plane, your heart swells in tenfolds the smile that Frankie had was easerable from your memory “We got a pilot here boys!” Matt takes a swig of his beer “Yeah, running South Central baby!” Frankie yells “Stop yelling, stop yelling I got you over the headset.” Reed says through the headset and they both yell to having your ears pop “Oh man I can’t believe this shit, I’m flying this motherfucka! You see me Lexi? You see me Reed?” He flies over the ocean looking at the beautiful skies and clouds, thinking one day you would be in the front seat of your very own plane with him.
“Here’s good man.” He tells Reed to park around the corner of Jerome’s house “You don’t want me to drop you off at the house?” Reed trying to crack a joke “Nah man it’s fine.” “So, a couple of days, you’ll be ready?” Reed turns to look at him “Mm-hmmm, ten keys. Ten grand a key.” He looks at Reed “And, I’ll uh I’ll pay to fix the car up.” “No, I don’t need it. Just need your product.” he steps out of the car and grabs your door to let you out and closes your and his door then dips down his head to look at Reed with the both of you looking at him “Hey man, I understand why you did what you did today I do. From here on out, no games, no tricks, no bullshit you be straight up with me, And I’ll be straight up with you. But if you ever fuck with me…or anybody that I care about, then it won’t be good for you. You understand that?” Reed nods his head “Yeah I do Franklin.” He smiles at Reed and taps on the car then digs in his back pocket to pull out a screwdriver and throws it on the seat “Reed Thompson.” He grabs your hand to walk to Jerome’s house.
He walked through the backdoor first and you close the door following him to the front porch with him walking in first then everybody stood up Louie jump on Frankie and gave you a hug too “God damn y’all where the hell y’all been at?” you gave Jerome a hug as well “We got a story for y’all.” Louie backed up “Yeah Leon told us.” He pats on Jerome’s shoulder “Yeah that’s just the half of it we about to move into the big leagues.” Kev flicks his cigarette into the bushes “By trusting that white guy that kidnapped y’all ass, huh?” you both take a seat on porch rail “Yeah, something like that.” He groans as he lowers himself on it “Guess that mean I’m going to be cooking a lot more, huh?” Frankie lets out a soft “Mm….It means we all gotta step up.” he looks at everybody and then lastly at you he leans forward to grab your hand “Me and Lexi flew on a plane together today.” everybody was asking questions from left to right “What was it like?” “Where did you go?” “What did it look like?” “Who flew the plane?” You both answer all of the questions and once everybody was satisfied they all relax in their chairs you squeeze his hand “I should go home.” He nods his head “I’ll walk with you but let me change first.” you whisper “I wanna take a shower with you Frankie but no funny business huh?” he cracks a smile “All right Lexiboo I promise.” sticking out his long and slender pinky to intertwine with your smaller one “Okay let’s go.” you both swiftly pass everyone to go into the guest bedroom and grab a extra towel for the both of you and Frankie kept his promise on the funny business then you both step out of the shower and Frankie opens the medicine cabinet to find your and his tooth brushes you both silently brush your teeth and walk into the guest room used the lotion all over your body still keeping his promise and put lotion all over his body and once you both got changing into a dark jeans and lilac sweater and white forces to keep you warm from the cold breeze of South Central, he changes into a knitted sweater that was a dark blue on top and darker green on the lower half then a red stripe going in the middle and to tie it all together with khakis and white sambas. You grab your backpack to stuff your old clothes in there zipping it up and putting your arms through them “I’m gonna talk to my moms once I walk you home, tell her about meetin’ Reed.” your eyes shift “I still haven’t told my momma about us Frankie, she thinks me and Shon-Shon are besties I know I’m gonna have too.” he steps closer to you and slowly grabs your face with two hands “I don’t think I ever told you how much I appreciate you being in this with me and I know I was very apprehensive about you being in this shit with me at first, but right now I wanna make you officially as my partner like if something goes down with me and I want you to run it for me and carry on my legacy.” you nod your head and kiss him on the lips..
Walking down the street to see your house light were off ‘Thank you Jesus’ silently going off in your head and continue to walk to your house stopping right before it “I’ll see you later baby.” you groan while putting your arms around his shoulders pulling him in a soft hug, his strong arms around you pulling you in closer you give in for a lazy kiss slumping his firm hold kissing his full lips “I lo-ve you-u bab-by-.” he pulls back to smile at you “I love you too partner, I’ll see you later maybe I can come cuddle with you.” you lean in “I’ll leave my window crack for you.” giving him a final kiss to walk up the steps and grabbing your keys to unlock the door, you wave to Frankie and waves back then puts his keys back in his pocket to ring the doorbell. Going inside the house completely dark just hearing your momma tv going off in her room, you swiftly go into your room and setting down her bag, then taking off your pants grabbing your bonnet securing it on your head slowly closing your eyes to dreamland, you had your window crack for Frankie to come and which he did, just leaving him in a boxers and white muscle-shirt to cuddle you in a deeper sleep, not knowing that a war was about to happen because of Delory and Victor going back to sell in Pico-Union.

I feel like I just ran a marathon by finishing this chapter and I feel like I just couldn’t stop cliffhanging when Frankie and Lexia got in that accident with Reed anyways we finally get to meet Reed, y’all that whole integration took me out I was trying to incorporate Lexi-boo in this chapter like her arguing with the Saint family after Biscuit and Jamal broken in and her tripping Reed and then calling him a bitch but in the next chapter is a very iconic scene in the snowfall community 👀👀👀👀and Frankie made Lexi as a partner which was obviously going to happen in this fanfic but one thing I need to talk about is Lexi’s momma THIS BITCH HASN’T BEEN HOME IN WEEKS I feel like something is brewing at the Johnson’s residence and shit’s about to get angsty but anywhore adding the little smut from the show bitch when I watch that seen for the first time seeing his chocolate skin I was like this nigga is soo fuckin and the peekaboo bootycheek I was gripping my sheets okay one last thing Frankie’s birthday of course Lexi had to be there like duh and not this bitch wearing a backless dress in the winter time and Lexi is the type of girl to wear waistbeads and the sambas you know Lexi had to get him some and finally the necklace I was actually debating on what the necklace should of been but I’ve decided that is Saint I just love the last name I couldn’t help it but thank you sososo much for reading it was definitely a rollercoaster for me to write this but I’m glad to knock down a another stone I love y’all so much 💞💞💞💞💞
