Okay.. I indulged again last night

I have mixed feelings about this movie, and it’s called ‘Prisoners’ when kids are involved in the movies I’m a softie so I cry easily but this time I cried again. Hugh’s acting in this is quite phenomenal. He’s such an angry, frustrated, heartbroken father. he goes through so much to get to his daughter praying for her life, praying for forgiveness, of his actions— I honestly recommend watching it– let’s not forget the looks of Hugh’s character. I’d let him break me, and whatever else. solid 9.5/10 rating. 😩🙈🩶

Prisoners is so fucking good. The acting, the plot, I love it. It makes me just want to violently throw up. What makes it better? Most media that I’m finding for it sexualizes the two main characters. I get it, they’re attractive, but also so well written that it pains me to see how people overlook the whole idea of the movie. Even in a scene where Hugh Jackman’s character is supposed to be loosing his temper and yelling, there are so many posts about people just being into his voice and noises. That scene is the start of descent for his character, and yet it’s used in edits as attractive.
