Schwarz: “Alright! All at once, let's GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

The whole group puts their strength into it. Schwarz's fingers begin to spread left and right, opening a hole in the barrier.

Schwarz: “Everyone!! Do it NOOOOOOOW!!!”

Nastasha: “Roger!!”

Shirley: “New Finals gimmick!”

Zuisen & Keiun: “System circuit!!”

Raymond: “Control!!!”

Whole crew: “ON!!!!!!”

The Shuffle crew sends a transmission to each gundam.

Chibodee: “You've saved us!!”

George: “Thank you!!”

Sai Saici: “Everyone's power!!”

Argo: “We've GOT IT!!”

Shuffle: “Come on! The real battle begins now!!!!!!!”

The Shuffle Gundams are fired up with fighting spirit!!!

Schwarz: “Alright!!”

At the same time, Schwarz lets go of the barrier. Everyone is sent flying from the barrier’s recoil.

Everyone: “WAHHHHHH!!!!!”

All of them collapse with exhaustion.

Schwarz: “Thanks for your help, everyone!!”

While rushing over to look after the fallen Schwarz, Allenby calls out to everyone, and then she pulls the kunai out of Schwarz’s hands.

Allenby: “It worked!”

Schwarz: “I-... I see……… You did great as well………”

Allenby: “No, more importantly, are your hands okay?!”

Allenby takes Schwarz’s hands. However, his fingers are fine.

Allenby: “Whaaaa? I was sure………”

She remembers his fingers being destroyed in the barrier.

Allenby: “That’s weeeeird, right???”

Schwarz: “M-more importantly……… Domon! What happened to Domon!?”

Schwarz impatiently looks to Domon and the rest.

Schwarz: “Ugh!!”

However, he withstands a shock from the remaining barrier on his body.

Schwarz: “D-... Domon!!!”

Allenby: “Domon……… You mean that one?”

Allenby looks at the God Gundam.

Allenby: “..................”

Allenby is enchanted with the God Gundam.

Allenby: “Then it’ll be okay. I know it.”

Schwarz: “Huh??”

Allenby: “That gundam won’t lose!! Because it’s strong!!!”

As if it were her own, Allenby looks at it with a radiant smile.

Domon: “!!!!!”

Domon burns with fighting spirit.

Schwarz: “YES! And everyone in the Shuffle as well!!”

Schwarz looks at the Shuffles.

The Shuffle gundams burn with fighting spirit.

Dark members: “HMMPHHHHH!!!!!!”

“How can they be so enthusiastic at a time like this?!”

“What the hell is that!?”

“It’s beyond comprehension!!”

The Dark members are pushed back by the fighting spirit.

Chibodee: “Well then, a new gimmick! First of all, let me try it out!!”

The Maxter holds out its fist to the first-gen.

Chibodee: “Come and get me! Champions!!”

Chibodee assumes a fighting pose.

First-Gen: “Well said!! But this is the final one!! Take our successive generations of punches!!!”

The first-gen throws a punch, along with the past generations of champions who appear at his back.

First-Gen: “OOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!”

Countless champion punches come for the Maxter.

Chibodee: “Heh!! In that case!!”

The Maxter’s entire body glows, and its bodybuilder-style armor begins to separate further.

Chibodee: “Open guard!! Weight reduction complete!! Measurements, CLEEEEEEEAR!!!”

First-gen: “What in the WOOORLD!!!!!”

The detached armor becomes a guard, and it deflects the champions’ punches.

Chibodee: “Right hook!! Left straight!! UPPERCUUUUT!!!!!!”

Then, while avoiding the fists of past generation champions with footwork and punches, the Maxter pushes its way towards the true form of the first-gen.

First-gen: “Three times as quick as before!! What agility!”

Knocking down the second-gen, third-gen, fifth-gen, and successive generations of champions one after another, the Maxter closes in on the first-gen.

First-gen: “Amazing!! AMAAAAAZING!!!!!”

The first-gen prepares himself.

First-gen: “But can you evade THIS?!!!!”

The first-gen throws a right straight.

Chibodee: “DON’T underestimate me!!!!”

The Maxter also unleashes a left straight. The next instant, both of their gundams collide with a tremendous crashing noise.

Chibodee had decided on a cross-counter.

Chibodee: “ARRGHH!!!!”

First-gen: “GRRRR!!!!”

The two’s punches are evenly matched.

Both of them: “GWAHHH!!!!”

In a turn of events, they’re both blown away.

Chibodee: “N-... Not yet……… This ain’t settled yet………”

First-gen: “Hmph!! It looks like the first to stand will be the winner!!”

The two listen carefully.

Chibodee: “Yeah…… I can hear it……… The 10 count for the two of us………”

The sound of a referee’s count is coming from somewhere.

First-gen: “Well then……… I’ll be the first to get up………”

The first-gen begins to stand.

First-gen: “With the last of my strength, the final blow!!”

The first-gen comes running towards the Maxter. Then suddenly, voices echo.

Gals: “Now!! Chibodee!!”

The gals lean forward and call out.

Chibodee: “GOT IT!!!!!!”

In a crouch, the Maxter prepares itself facing the first-gen.

Chibodee: “Launch rockets! Space rocket! Apollo PUUUUUNCH!!!!!”

The Maxter’s legs detach, and its body is launched by rocket propulsion.

Chibodee: “Stage 1!! Stage 2!!”

Next the waist detaches, and the body gains speed from the booster propulsion.

Chibodee: “And now, Stage 3!!!”

Next, the chest separates and gives thrust. At the same time, his readied punch aims and flies toward the first-gen.

First-gen: “What the HELL!!!!!”

With terrible speed, a mighty punch smashes the first-gen’s gundam to pieces.

First-gen: “K. O.!!!!!!!!!”

The first-gen is blown away and vanishes.

Simultaneously, the 10 count gong rings out.

Chibodee: “This is the starting signal for the Shuffle Alliance’s counterattack!!!!”

Shuffle: “YEAH!!!!!!”

George and all the others answer Chibodee’s call.

JD: “Be that as it may, I will defeat you! George de Sand!!”

The soldier gundams spread out left and right to make a path. Gundam Follow Me walks through the center.

George: “That suits me just fine!! I won’t fall behind someone like Chibodee!!”

Chibodee: “What was that!? You really do always say too much!!”

Raymond: “Master George! Be careful!!”

Raymond cheers on George.

JD: “Well then!!”

George: “Once more!!”

With swords at the ready, the two of them bow to one another.

JD: “Follow Me!!!!”

With her shout, the soldier gundams head towards George. They attack one after the other, completely burying the Gundam Rose.

George: “………………”

In the midst of this, George makes absolutely no attempt to move. Gradually, a mountain of soldier gundams builds up.

Zuisen & Keiun are watching George’s situation with worried expressions.

Zuisen: “Hmm……… JD is using that technique yet again?!”

Keiun: “What in the world could Mr. George be planning?”

Raymond puffs out his chest at Zuisen & Keiun’s concern.

Raymond: “Please rest assured. The way the Gundam Rose is now, the number of enemies is not an issue! More importantly, your Mr. Sai Saici — there’s no sign of him moving at all………?!”

Conversely, he looks worriedly at Sai Saici.

Sai Saici: “………………”

Sai Saici’s Dragon Gundam is silent, not even moving an inch.

Zuisen & Keiun: “Yes…… We really didn’t want to just use this new gimmick, but……”

Raymond: “So, what are you saying??”

When he looks more closely, beautiful butterfly wings are beginning to glow on the Dragon Gundam’s back.

Zuisen & Keiun: “This technique is Sai Saici’s life force itself!!”

Chibodee: “Whoa, hang on, what does that mean?!”

Zuisen: “Please just be silent and observe.”

Keiun: “Sai Saici, in his most glorious, once-in-a-lifetime appearance!!”

Zuisen & Keiun resolve themselves. Beside them, Raymond is surprised.

Raymond: “Aah! WHAT IS THAT!?”

Suddenly, both shoulders of the Dragon Gundam detach, forming a ring in front. Then the ring rotates, causing a taijitu diagram to emerge.

Sai Saici: “………………………”

Inside the Dragon Gundam, Sai Saici raises his willpower to the maximum.

Sai Saici: “It’s a shame, but this is the only way to win against the originator of the Wudang Sect, the Founder-sama……… even if it means trading my life!!!”

With Sai Saici’s energy, the Dragon Gundam is enveloped in a beautiful glow. Everyone is mesmerized by its beauty.

Nastasha: “It……… it’s beautiful………”

For a moment, the glow looks like a butterfly.

Zuisen & Keiun: “That’s it, the Shaolin Temple’s supreme secret technique!!”

Sai Saici: “Take THIS!! True! Meteor!!!!!!!”

Sai Saici tries to leap at the Founder’s Real Kung Fu.

Founder: “WAIT!!!!!!”

Sai Saici: “Eh??”

All of a sudden, the Founder stops Sai Saici.

Zuisen & Keiun: “Wh-... what’s going on??”

Sai Saici: “You’re……… telling me to wait……… what do you mean?? Huh??”

Suddenly Sai Saici realizes. The Founder’s energy is making him unable to move his body.

Sai Saici: “Why??”

In a low voice, the Founder whispers into the wondering Sai Saici’s ear.

Founder: “Heheh……… That technique — you’re fully aware that if you use it you will lose your life?”

Sai Saici: “O-... Of course!!”

With the founder seeing right through him, Sai Saici puts on a brave front.

Founder: “In that case, we’re done here…… I can see what would happen to me if I were to be hit with something like that. Most importantly, your life is not something to be thrown away in vain for something like this………”

Sai Saici: “So then………??”

Founder: “You win…… You certainly must have studied diligently over the long history since my time……… Oh dear me, you’ve got me beat. You’ve got me beat. One can’t win against the accumulation of time.”

Little by little, the Founder and Real Kung Fu begin to fade away.

Founder: “You’ve shown me something great………”

Sai Saici: “Founder-sama!!”

Sai Saici attempts to follow after the disappearing Founder.

Founder: “From now on…… Keep up the diligence………”

Sai Saici: “………………”

Embracing a fist with one hand, Sai Saici kowtows, and Zuisen & Keiun follow.

Sai Saici: “………………”

Zuisen & Keiun: “………………”

Chibodee is relieved at the sight.

Chibodee: “So, does that mean the Dragon Gundam’s gimmick is postponed? No waaaay.”

Nastasha: “Hmph! Secret weapons must be kept secret.”

Chibodee: “Hey now, you say that, but what about your old guy?”

Nastasha: “Hmph, if you’re interested, just watch! Do it!! Argo!!”

Nastasha swings her whip toward the Bolt Gundam.

Argo: “Understood!!”

With Argo’s voice, the top of the Gundam Matryoshka encasing the Bolt Gundam explodes, and from there a ray of light rises into the sky with tremendous force.

Dmitri: “!?”

In outer space, Dmitri is illuminated by the approaching brilliance. In an instant, he is enveloped in the brightness and vanishes.

Dmitri: “The color of the Earth is……… blue………”

Chibodee is looking blankly up at the sky.

Chibodee: “Huh? Was that it?”

Nastasha: “It’s enough.”

Nastasha is triumphant.

Nastasha: “However……… Although we’ve averted this crisis………”

Destroying the Gundam Matryoshka, the Bolt Gundam emerges from the inside. Its shoulders are melting away.

Nastasha: “It’s not something we can use more than once, is it………”

Chibodee: “Old man Argo! What in the world did you do?”

Argo: “That’s a secret.”

Argo taciturnly sidesteps Chibodee.

Chibodee: “Well, whatever, so has this one been settled then?”

Chibodee looks at George’s Gundam Rose. The Gundam Rose is being attacked by the horde of soldier gundams.

Chibodee: “Hey, hey, are you okay?”

Naturally, Chibodee becomes concerned.

George: “Heheh……… For you to be worried about me, it must look as if I’m at a huge disadvantage, right?”

Chibodee: “Are you not?”

George: “Well then, please watch! I’ve finally finished my preparations!!”

George, sword in hand, laughs fearlessly.

George: “Follow Me!!”

JD: “What?”

The soldier gundams all turn simultaneously to face Gundam Follow Me. They attack her with swords in hand.

JD: “What’s this you’ve done?!”

Looking more closely, she sees that the soldier gundams have Roses Bits lodged in them, and the soldiers are being controlled from shockwaves coming out of their tips.

JD: “I see! To think you’d retaliate using the same technique!”

JD assumes a stance.

JD: “But in the end, it’s just an imitation!! I have a way to deal with this!!”

In an instant, the mirror body clones itself, and in unison they draw their swords, stabbing the soldier gundams in quick succession.

JD: “Haha! How do you like that?! Next, I’ll deal with you!!”

Then suddenly, the Gundam Rose pushes its way through the soldier gundams and comes dashing in.

George: “Roses Shield Screamer!!!!”

Simultaneously the shoulder shield detaches, and it spins wildly along with the Bits.

JD: “What!! No matter how many clones I create, I can’t catch up with this!!”

While the shield defends against the swords of the Gundam Follow Me clones, JD is surrounded by shots from the Bit beams which come launching out from its shadow, and she becomes trapped like a caged bird.

George: “Rose Wing!!”

Taking the shield in his hand, George spins it like a helicopter, and he soars up into the sky.

George: “This is the finishing blow!!”

Gathering the Bits, the Rose launches an all-out attack from overhead the Gundam Follow Me.

JD: “Well done!!!”

The Gundam Follow Me is hit by a beam.

JD: “Farewell!!”

The Gundam Follow Me blows up.

Chibodee: “Eeugh, George’s use of the new gimmick is the most brutal………”

Chibodee watches the disappearing Gundam Follow Me with astonishment.

George: “However, if you show your hand, you can no longer use it as a secret weapon.”

George looks disappointed.

Chibodee: “Well, that makes two of us! After all, I’m the one most unable to do anything about it.”

The Maxter, which is now from the chest up, is unable to move.

Sai Saici: “It’s true! Right now, I could do aaanything!”

With a mischievous laugh, the Dragon Gundam approaches the Maxter and tries to tickle it.

Argo: “Cut it out! Now is not the time to be doing that!”

The Bolt Gundam picks up the Dragon Gundam by the scruff of the neck.

Sai Saici: “I’m just kidding!”

Then, the voices of the Dark members resound.

Dark members: “Ha ha ha ha!!”

Founder: “Quite the spirited Shuffle boy.”

Dark members: “But you all have certainly demonstrated your power.”

“It seems that your Shuffle qualifications are sufficient!!”

“Moreover, I’m sure you’ll gradually understand the rule of ‘non-intervention’ and gain self-awareness.”

The Dark members’ voices gently echo.

Dark members: “However!! It’s all about the final big challenge, Domon Kasshu! Everything hinges upon his battle!!”

Shuffles: “Yes!!!”

Chibodee and the others all shift their gaze to Domon’s fight.

That brusque and uncompromising manner of speaking is, Hakkai has come to learn, quite usual for Genjo Sanzo. It's a little nicer than he would have expected to have someone around who treats his current existence so matter-of-factly. Sanzo does not step delicately around the rotten wood in the floor of Hakkai's newly forged heart—he punches through it, unforgiving and half-uncaring, so those weak spots might be replaced.

Hakkai is more than a little infatuated with the way Sanzo lives, though he's not ignorant to the fact that there's clearly something heart-rending behind Sanzo's rotting interior, too.

"It's working out well, as a matter of fact," Hakkai reports. He is both polite and deeply grateful, and the two sentiments seem to battle for presence in his tone of voice. Sanzo probably isn't the sort of person who'd appreciate his sentimentality, and anyway, they hardly know eachother. "Gojyo hasn't complained to me about my continued stay in his house, and I've finally been able to make myself known to the locals."

He doesn't mention the tension that's seeped its way between himself and Gojyo, thick but permeable. Hakkai feels like his every step is under some strange kind of scrutiny—Gojyo never complains, but he rarely engages with Hakkai's gratitude or his care, which in many ways is worse than just complaining. Hakkai sometimes feels invisible there, though the two of them speak to eachother.

He wonders if the only thing keeping him there is the thought that he doesn't want to leave behind the man who had picked him up, half-dead and spilling his intestines on the road, and nursed him back to health. If Gojyo really doesn't need him as much as he'd thought, what else is there that stays his leave?

The close-lipped smile he gives Sanzo is, of course, made to hide those complicated feelings. Above everything else, he's grateful for the life that he's been allowed to live, and no matter how things go with Gojyo, he's determined to spend as long as he needs repaying the debt he owes to Sanzo in the little ways he's capable of; tutoring Goku and spending time at Keiun Temple. 

"Actually, I wanted to thank you for trusting me enough to allow me to go back there." Expertly changing the subject, Hakkai reaches down to the bag he'd packed in preparation for his trip back to the temple. "If you'll excuse the poor presentation—I brought something for you."

Steadily and easily, he removes the bulk of the bag's weight and sets it on the desk that separates him and Sanzo; two medium-sized containers, washed and reused from some cheap restaurant or another that Hakkai doesn't yet know the name of, filled with his own cooking. He pushes the slightly smaller one on his right towards Sanzo; despite the distance he'd travelled, the materials of the container are still warm.

"I don't have much else to busy myself with, as I'm sure you could have guessed. You seemed to enjoy the chazuke I made during my stay here, so I figured it would be a suitable thing to bring over. Although," Hakkai glances at the other, larger container, an amused smile creeping onto his face, "I did realize Goku wouldn't be satisfied with just that, so I brought him some stir fry."

It was just another day, Hakkai heading to the market in the afternoon to purchase some snacks (he made sure to throw in some fruits too), before making his way to Keiun Temple.

Even while lost in his own thoughts, however, it was hard to miss the faint pulsating aura from somewhere in the distance. Fleeting. Yokai energy? No, there was something... different about it, but he couldn't quite figure out why.

Regardless, his legs almost seemed to move on their own, towards where he thought the source was. Curiosity killed the cat, he supposed. Even when he's aware that he should've known better. Further down from the main street, he stopped and looked to the left at a quiet alley to find—

A woman.

Now usually he'd mind his own business and move on, but from a single glance, he could tell that she was unwell. Pale, as though all vitality had been drained.

"Pardon me," Hakkai spoke as he approached. "Apologies if I'm being presumptuous for asking but, might you need assistance, Miss?"

500 anni fa: Son Goku viene sigillato nel monte Gogyo.

24 anni fa: nascita di Kouryuu. Viene abbandonato in un fiume. Koumyou (35 anni) lo salva e se lo porta con sé.

23 anni fa: nascita di Cho Gonou. I suoi genitori sono esseri umani e ha  una sorella gemella. Nascita di Sha Gojyo, suo padre è un demone e sua madre un essere umano.

20 anni fa: Koumyou Sanzo (39 anni) conosce Ken'yuu (17 anni) presso il tempio Zenou. Goudai Sanzo muore e Ken'yuu sussegue al suo maestro, divenendo Ukoku Sanzo Houshi ed eredita il Mutenkyo. I genitori di Gojyo (3 anni) si suicidano per il loro amore. Gojyo inizia a vivere nella casa della matrigna e del fratello Jien (9 anni). I genitori di Cho Gonou (3 anni) divorziano. Gonou vive con la madre mentre la sorella vive col padre.

19 anni fa: Koumyou (40 anni) inizia a viaggiare in posti differenti assieme a Ukoku (18 anni). I monaci buddhisti del tempio iniziano ad odiare Kouryuu (6 anni).

18 anni fa: Koumyou (41 anni) conclude il suo viaggio e ritorna al tempio di Kinzan. La madre di Cho Gonou (5 anni) abbandona suo figlio in un orfanotrofio.

17 anni fa: Ukoku (20 anni) visita il tempio di Kinzan dove vive Koumyou.

15 anni fa: Vocazione.

14 anni fa: Ukoku (23 anni) prende con sé un ragazzino e visita di nuovo il tempio di Kinzan. Il ragazzino senza nome conosce Kouryuu (11 anni).

12 anni fa: morte di Koumyou (47 anni). Kouryuu (13 anni) diventa Genjo Sanzo e il proprietario dei Seitenkyo e Matenkyo. Lascia il tempio alla ricerca del Seitenkyo che è stato rubato.

11 anni fa: la matrigna di Sha Gojyo (12 anni) cerca di ucciderlo. Lei muore e il fratello di  Gojyo (18 anni) lo abbandona.

8 anni fa: Genjo Sanzo (16 anni) arriva al tempio di Keiun. Conosce l'abate che muore presto dopo aver reso Sanzo ufficialmente capo del tempio. Cho Gonou (15 anni) lascia l'orfanotrofio e studia all'Università con una borsa di studio. Lì conosce la sorella Cho Kanan. Sha Gojyo (15 anni) conosce Banri e diventano soci.

6 anni fa: Sanzo (18 anni) conosce Goku (13 anni,a dire il vero ne avrebbe 513 di anni) davanti alla prigione di roccia. Iniziano a vivere insieme. Cho Gonou (17 anni) lascia l'Università e inizia a vivere con Kanan.

5 anni fa: la sorella di Cho Gonou (18 anni) viene rapita da Hyakugan Maoh.

4 anni fa: seguendo un ordine degli Sanbutsushin Sanzo (20 anni) va alla ricerca di un assassino e porta con sé Goku (15 anni,anche se ha 515 per la verità). Cho Gonou conosce Sha Gojyo, entrambi hanno 19 anni. Cho Gonou cambia il suo nome in Cho Hakkai e vive con Gojyo.

3 anni fa: Banri ritorna all'improvviso e incontra nuovamente Gojyo, entrambi hanno 20 anni. Per la prima volta Goku mangia uno stufato.

1 anno fa: Sanzo (23 anni) convince Hakkai e Gojyo (entrambi hanno 22 anni) ad accettare le missioni affidate a loro dai Sanbutsushin.

Adesso: Viaggio in Occidente.
