Prompt 3 - Sanctuary

Regulus pulled the door open, leaving the little sanctuary James had created fro them and returned to the everyday life he was used to, which included irritating nobodies who seemed to be in his way at every turn. Said nobody immediately quailed at the sight of Regulus and hurried away from the door, clearly forgetting his original intention. 

“Merlin, Reg, could you be any more intimidating?” James chuckled unseen in his ear. 

“I could try,” Regulus growled under his breath. 

“Bye, love, see you later,” Regulus felt the pressure of James’s hand on his shoulder for a moment before it was gone. Regulus felt a strange bereavement at the loss of the contact. He shook it off and carried on down to the entrance hall and outside into the grounds. He needed to be up in the air now he’d been in the water. That’s where he’d told Evan and Barty he’d be so he’d better look the part by the time dinner rolled around.
