Px: (Laughing when Seungmin teased I.N on the stage)

Kb1: Pixie! We have some questions for you that the crowd would like to ask!

Px: (looks surprised) Really? Go ahead then (she smiles cutely, causing some of her members to coo at her. The crowd awed at her dimpled smile)

Kb2: (he smiles back and hands the microphone to an older, male fan)

MF: You're sixteen, correct? (He asks innocently)

Px: Yes, I am sixteen. I'm turning seventeen soon, though.

MF1: How long was your training period?

Px: Almost nine years. I was nine when I came to Korea (The audience cheered when she said that. She laughed at their enthusiasm)

Px: I sure hope you can (She made a finger heart, trying to ignore the hair standing up on the back of her neck)

C: Your door is unlocked

Px: (She looks up, alarmed. She shifts uncomfortably before locking eyes with her manager) Stop joking like that (She tries to smile it off)

C: Cute bedspread ;)

Px: Okay, whoever is commenting that, please knock it off. (She frowns, rubbing her arm to try and quell the goosebumps) It's not funny anymore

A large bang sounded throughout the apartment, making her scream and drop the phone with the live on it. She rushed off frame, and an audible struggle ensued. The intruder was soon taken away when her manager called for security.

She's okay in the end, not visibly hurt. She is now never alone in the dorms, or else she will have a panic attack.

if you could choose a director you'd like to cast tzp in a project, who would you choose ? like not in the "most famous director" sense but in more of a "this" director's style would suit tzp a lot..who would you choose?

I am not so sure I'm the right person to be asked this but I will try to answer honestly. I don't usually pick up on a directors style that easily, maybe because I mindlessly consume media and don't go in depth into the way a movie is made, who the directors are, if they made several other movies, whether all those movies have the same style. I don't know that many directors either.

I only notice a style when it is unprecedented (in a good way) for me. Like if the story, cinematography, music, story progression have profound effect on me. Even though there are different people who work on all of these, the directors play a significant part.

Over the years I did find some works that I liked. Even my mostly lazy brain took notice because their styles were so different from the rest. Such as Guillermo Del Toros work in Pacific Rim, Christopher Nolans (both as writer and as director, so amazingly sophisticated) work in The Prestige, George Millers work in Mad Max: Fury road. These are all brilliant films. And only in Nolans case can I say that I have watched more than one film.

I don't really have a specific Director in mind that I would want TZP to work with. Of course I would love it if he got to work with these people I mentioned. But there are so many other great filmmakers. Hopefully he gets to work with talented directors who are respectful towards actors and who he admires. Cord Jeffersons (directed American Fiction) name comes to mind as TZP mentioned him. Even though I'm not familiar with his work, I'd love it if TZP got to work with him. TZP mentioned liking the Bourne series several times too. And a new film in the franchise is set to be made with Edward Bergers name being mentioned as the director (he directed All quiet on the western front that won several oscars). If TZP were to be the next bourne (please lord) I'd be so so so happy. First off, I would love if TZP could do an action film (he'd rock it), second, he'd be working in a franchise that is loved by so many, thirdly, he would be living his dream.

I have only seen TZP do comedies - Red white and royal blue (which is kind of a dramedy but my point stands), KB2 and KB3, Embeds. So I definitely want him to work in project with different genre. And I'm sorry, I can't pick a Director to suit TZP, he is the actor here. He needs to suit the character/ script / directors style. All good actors are versatile and go out of their comfort zone to create a very realistic or authentic character. I would love it if he could play different types of roles. Was inspired by Max’s @goose-books fanfiction crossover between his series Godsong and the Locked Tomb series (and the iconic cat moment in Carmilla, and the realization that surely the Locked Tomb series itself must have employed the same metaphor, and the knowledge that all my women are kittenish) to make this one. It’s not a red carpet for a movie lol I’m sure if it was TZP movie premier Garrett would be there. I could be wrong but it looks like he threw Taylor a party for KB2 and KB3 on the ranch. He seems like a supportive hubby.

Taylor’s brother Grant seems to now live and work in Savannah coincidently, so I think they did turn into a bit of family time since Taylor was going to be there, but it’s not like his whole family minus Garrett were there. If it was his movie I’m sure everyone would have been there.

I think a milestone for Taylor would be walking the red carpet for a movie he’s been in and it’s a damn shame that the pandemic and the strike have robbed him of all the opportunities to do that. But his time will come, I believe that.

Yep, and Garrett has been to a lot of events with him after rwrb came out. Tzp seems to post more work related things and less friends related things so maybe that's why. I'd hate to think he's stopped posting Garrett to hide even more.

I'm not seeing anything telling me he's trying to be straight passing and masculine. What i've seen of him as of late has been super gay and him beeing really relaxed and free in his manners and body language. Yeah, he might refer to Garrett as "buddy" (i haven't seen that but i take your word for it) but he's closeted. It might be one of the worst kept closets ever, but he's still closeted.

A Little Bit Of History: Old Country Humans!

(Heads up - I cannot find the tag for this, so I'm gonna say, trigger warning for Nazi symbols - don't worry, this blog post is just for educational purposes! I have done my best to blur them, however I'm not a very attuned seeker.)

Hey guys, this would usually be a Twitter thread but Elongated Muskrat wants me to pay and I ain’t doing that! So we’re making a Tumblr blogpost!

I don’t know how alive the countryhumans fandom is on here, but I thought I might make a post about something I find cool: this idea is actually pretty old!

See, back in the olden days, after World War 1, political cartoons changed - people began to experiment with new ways of expressing themselves and how they felt, beyond just redrawing what was happening.

This era, which I like to call the experimental era, was from ~1930-1980. Nowadays, political cartoonists are back to being unoriginal little shits, which gives them their grotesque impression in people's minds. But no, there's more to this art form!

There used to be characters used to represent countries. The most popular example is Uncle Sam, we know him, we love him, you even see him in countryhumans art today. And wow, is he old! Look at him in this cartoon from 1947! (Image credi: KB2 - that's all we know about this artist, other than they were from France)

Here, the characters, from left to right are Marianne for France, Gretchen/Germania for Germany, Uncle Sam for the United States, and John Bull for the United Kingdom.

There are two characters for Germany, one is Gretchen/Germania, which is a cruel old woman and I personally dislike because of her misogynistic under tones - German women were disliked for their assertiveness and stereotyped as mean or bitchy. Not their fault particularly - after World War 2 Germany began to shift over to more matriarchal society over a patriarchy, which had been their structure on and off over the years. The other one is Michel, who is a chubby, sweet, short, and submissive little man who wears pajamas constantly, keeps having kids with uncooperative mothers (does he birth them himself?), and is a bit lazy. (Image credit to the Saar section of the European movement - most likely multiple artists worked on this)

He was every definition of a wife guy for Marianne, worshipping his lovely woman even if she rejected him. He rarely fought with her, except on the matter of his children, which he would get very defensive about.

Their gender roles were entirely reversed - Marianne took on the role of a man at the time, and Michel, a woman. Why this was collectively decided is not clear to me - perhaps it was what was appropriate to their geopolitics at the time, or a reflection of German societal expectations. Either way, they're the couple (I drew this one on a card for my French teacher)

They fell out of usage after the De Gaulle and Adenauer days as they were thought to be their couple, their children, not appropriate for Giscard d'Estaing and Schmidt, though in the 80s they would be used again with Kohl and Mitterrand because of their relationship making people nostalgic.

Or, this interesting cartoon by Hanns Erich Köhler where he designs people for Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

So, why did they exist?

Well, some people didn't have access to the information we do. It wasn't easy to find out who ran what, and what they looked like for that manner. They were especially useful during the 50s because governments were in chaos, and having someone just be the entire country saved the headache of figuring out who was ruler at the time. They were often adapted from children's characters as well, bringing nostalgia and kinship.

But then pictures of people became much more wildly available as news networks got back on their feet. After De Gaulle and Adenauer, Marianne and Michel, who were the most utilized outside of Uncle Sam, were laid to rest with their real life equivalents, never brought up again except for nostalgia purposes. Even the Greeks, who lagged behind their German idol, found Kohl and Mitterrand to be much more engaging.

I made my own, by the way. I will probably make another blog explaining each one, since this one is getting much too long.
