Popular Taiwanese bakery Kazo arrives in Singapore on 5th January 2018 at ChinaTown Point!
Serving their most popular Kazu Kazu, Cream Puffs, Polo Buns and other snacks, Kazo’s parent brand Nichifu is renowned for its long queues in Taiwan and high quality, Japanese influenced products.
Ringing true to Taiwan’s reputation of producing some of the world’s best snacks, Kazo, which hails from parent Taiwanese brand Nichifu, will be opening their first store in Singapore at ChinaTown Point on 5th January 2018. An instant hit since it served its first cream puff in 2014, Nichifu has seen long queues of people from all over the world waiting for a chance to savour their renowned baked treats. With Singaporeans having a reputation for being major foodies and a soft spot for Taiwanese goodies, Kazo will cater to the local demands for an authentic Taiwanese snack within our very own country.
Abiding by its Japanese heritage, Kazo believes in simplicity and quality. To uphold the standards and tastes of its Taiwanese counterparts, every ingredient Kazo uses is flown in from Taiwan on a regular basis to ensure freshness. Kazo’s products are also deliciously balanced instead of overwhelming in taste, with flavours that complement each other for a more pleasurable palate.
Danish Polo
Available in Original, Salted Egg, Hokkaido Cream and Ice Cream, Kazo’s Danish Polo exemplifies the perfect union between Japanese intricacy and Danish baking style. Encapsulated within a freshly baked flaky croissant, the moist and smooth filling gives the treat a mouth watering combination of textures and flavours that harmonises beautifully with each other. A millennial favourite would be the innovative Salted Egg option, which hints of subtle sweetness on top of the ever likeable salted egg taste notes. If you are down for something more indulgent, try Kazo’s Danish Polo with Ice Cream which comes with a generous serving of Hokkaido Milk, Royal Chocolate or traditional Matcha ice cream. This out of the box delicacy is guaranteed to offer a punch of excitement to the conventional fare.
Kazo’s Danish Polo is available from $2.50 to $5.50 each.
Kazu Kazu
Named after the brand itself, Kazu Kazu has both Hokkaido Cream and Chocolate fillings for fans of both variations. Crunchy to the bite, the hollowed out crust is light and fluffy, pairing it perfecty with the generous, flavourful filling. Opt for Chocolate if you want something more intense – the authentic cocoa taste finds the balance between sweet and bitter in seamless fashion.
Kazo’s Kazu Kazu is available at $3.50 each.
Cream Puff
The bestseller to date, Kazo’s Cream Puff is a work in itself. Having taken years to perfect the puff, it prides itself in its signature crispy texture coupled with a soft and tender inside. Filled to the brim with either Hokkaido Cream or Chocolate filling options, the combination will appeal to even the pickiest eaters. Served in munch sizes, there is no better snack on the go and its popularity is its very own testament.
Kazo’s Cream Puff is available at $1.50 each.
Cheese Tart
Simplicity at it’s best. Any baker worth his salt should be able to execute the basics flawlessly, and Kazo’s Cheese Tart represents just that. With a crumbly crust and hearty dollop of cheese that tantilizes the tastebuds, this innovative reinvention of an old school classic is sure to please the child in all of us.
Kazo’s Cheese Tart is available at $3.20 each.
Aside from snacks, Kazo will also be introducing Kazo Man – choice of either Matcha Latte or Organic Soya Bean drink served in a quirky, collectable bottle available for a limited period only.
Kazo will retail at 133 North Bridge Road, #01-30, Singapore 059413.
