Summary: Kate just can’t wait have you in her arms

Kate dragged her tired feet into the apartment you both shared taking off her shoes setting them by the door and putting her keys on the hook by the door.

She slowly started to quietly make her way to the bedroom you both shared still dressed in the clothes she had on from practice.

The weight on her shoulders from the stress she had all day seemed to lift and fade away as soon as her eyes landed on your sleeping frame .

The room was dark, the only light being from the moon coming in through the open curtains.

She quietly walked over to you and her heart felt warm upon realizing that you were curled up in her sweatshirt.

Kate caresses your cheek kissing your forehead pulling the covers over you making sure you were tucked in before making her way to the bathroom.

She made her way to the closet grabbing a pair of sweats and a bralette going back into the bathroom setting her clothes on the counter and takes a quick shower.

After, the shower she quickly gets dressed brushing her teeth and drying off her hair.

Kate quickly throws her hair up into a pony tail before turning off the bathroom light and closing the bathroom door heading over to her side of the bed which was the one closest to the door.

She lets out a sigh of relief once her back hit the bed and looks over at you noticing that you moved from the position you were in before she showered.

Kate moves the hair that had fallen in your face just adoring your sleep face which she could see with the moon like coming in on it.

She lets out a big yawn looking at you just seeing you all snuggled up made her just want to pull you in her arms and hold you close.

She closed her heavy eyes letting out a big yawn but for some reason, She couldn't seem to fall asleep. She lied restless and looked at the clock.

Kate knew the remedy was simple. With you wrapped in her strong arms, her body was begging to fall asleep and to have you warm body on top of her, She was going to fall asleep and sleep well. She hated the idea of waking you when you were curled up and looked so cozy when you're sleeping so peaceful

She reached over to touch you. Her hand hovered over your arm for a moment but then finally fell and starts to gently rub your arm

You open your eyes to look at her, finding her teeth sank into her bottom lip and her restless eyes locked with your tired ones.

"Kate? What is it? It's after midnight, I'm tired."

"I know. I'm sorry to wake you, sunshine. But I can't sleep without you in my arms"

You couldn't hide the sleepy smile that had came onto your lip. You moved into her side and tangled your legs with her long ones. She planted little kisses on your head and a lazy smile tugged at your lips once more.

“I love you” you spoke quietly.

“Love you too baby.”

You puckered your lips and closed your eyes. Her lips touched yours, a restless, but loving kiss being planted onto your soft lips.

You pulled back too soon, but she didn't complain as you dropped your head back onto her chest listening to her heart beat and started to fall asleep in her arms.

Kate listened to your breathing which slowly moved her into falling asleep. She gently rubbed your back as she slowly fell asleep.

She always got the best rest with you in her arms.

Jane rolls her eyes and marches up the stairs. Jesse and Ernie only go halfway and wait.

For some reason, I expected more Inoki? Invite a dog to a ceremony, they should get some screen time to give doggy kisses to people. Like their favorite person, Kai.
