Recently traded to the Chicago Rebels, hockey veteran Dylan “Banks” Bankowski is adjusting to what might be his last team and his final year in the NHL. That means taking care of his battered body while he strives for the one goal that’s managed to elude him: a championship ring. What he does not need is a visit from the woman to whom he gave a different kind of ring months ago.

Apparently, signing the annulment papers within a week of their quickie wedding in Vegas didn’t quite take, and now she’s back, right before the playoffs when he needs his focus most. Only this time she has a different request: let’s keep up the charade. He should say no, but he once said “I do” and surely that means something …

Georgia Goodwin has good reasons for wanting to keep her hockey player husband. Convincing the big lug to cooperate is the easy part. Not so easy? Ignoring the flutter in her chest when he grunts in jock, kisses her neck, or calls her wife. But it’s only for a few weeks, and as soon as the playoffs finish, so will they.

But the more time Georgia and Banks spend together, the more real their marriage feels. Less Vegas mistake, and more like the start of something amazing. They said goodbye once. Can they do it again … or will they figure out that a love like this is worth fighting for as much as that championship ring?

Hockey Wife (Rookie Rebels #9) by Kate Meader

Entertaining, fun, witty, emotional and full of spice, this had everything that this hopeless romantic needs in a romance. I couldn’t put this one down!

This is Dylan “Banks” Bankowski and Georgia Goodwin’s journey and what a magical heartwarming story it is!

These two opposite meet in Las Vegas and after only a few hours they end up married, but when Banks wakes up he finds himself alone.

Months later Georgia shows up and needs a favor from Dylan. Their annulment didn’t go through and she wants to stay married for a few more months. Initially he isn’t happy about this request, but when their wedding announcement is put in the social pages his family tells him how excited his grandmother is that he is finally settling down, so he agrees. But when she moves in with him for appearance sake, the one bed and close proximity is just too much for them to keep their feelings from coming into play.

I loved these two together. I smiled. I swooned. I giggled. And I fell in love with these two. And the camaraderie between Georgia and the other Rebel Rookie wives was the icing on the cake!

This is another fantastic addition to the Rookie Rebels series!

Wow! This series just keeps getting better and better! Oh my… there is something about a bad boy being brought to his knees by a woman, that made Wild Ride my new favorite!

This heartwarming, funny, entertaining, emotional story had me in tears at times. I loved everything about this couple, I swooned, I smiled, I giggled, I laughed out loud and then I fell hard for Dex! I adored Ashley and her daughter, Willa to bits!

This is Dex O’Malley and Ashley Adams’ story and I loved every moment of it!

Dex O’Malley and his wild, bad, boy behavior is about to end his hockey career if he doesn’t clean up his act. So when the team and his agent has him volunteering at the local animal shelter he becomes her problem.

Ashley Adams doesn’t have time to babysit grown men. She is busy trying to make ends meet and take care of her daughter, Willa. Trying to get back out into the dating scene after her divorce was finalized six months ago. But what she didn’t count on was him! And what he was willing to do to keep her!! Loved their journey!
