One thing about Castle is that they do a serial killer plot line SO WELL. In the way that they don’t overdo those episodes, and cram like 7 into a season, so you’re like “God can’t they just catch this guy already!” (Pelant on Bones, Mr. Scratch on Criminal Minds, etc)

They’re so good at like one or MAYBE two 3XK episodes a season so every time you’re like “OH MY GOD HE’S BACK!!” And with Beckett’s mom they still manage to keep it fresh even after so long because they don’t spent so long on it every season.

Some things I learned about the amazing actors who play my favorite ST characters...

Sonequa Martin-Green has the most lovely freckles on her nose and when she smiles at you, she really sees you. No matter how brief, she took a moment to 'take in' each person that she interacted with.

Jeri Ryan is the epitome of fun and fiery, and her well-informed activism is FULLY engaged - LOVE.

Rebecca Romijn's eyes are really that intelligent, piercing, and thoughtful.

Gates McFadden is pure wit, sass, and energy. Her welcoming, authentic grace was refreshing.

Kate Mulgrew IS the very definition of 'force of nature.' Her kindness and consideration for fans was automatic. The amount of work that must have taken to cultivate...

This was my very first ST Con ever. I have so many observations about the audiences at the Con, but I'll have to put those into a less-jumbled order before I consider publishing.
