I think my favorite palette I have currently is the kat von d holographic palette that I got from my aunt because it's sooooo shiny and works really nice for highlights :)

I’m at a LOSS for words at God’s goodness and saving power! 😭👏🏼

Zack & I just finished up watching Kat Von D’s interview with Allie Beth Stuckey about her salvation testimony and the way Christ is transforming her life. If you’re not familiar with Kat, she’s a famous celebrity tattoo artist, has a famous cosmetic line & was in the occult.

We were so pleasantly surprised by so many things…

1. Her humility was just beautiful. So pure. She didn’t pretend to know it all. But she goes to a tiny Baptist church (of primarily elderly people)— she talked about how she’s joined her churches choir & goes to Bible study every Tuesday night.

2. She said she goes to this church because she doesn’t want to “feel like she’s at a concert” or get “feel good sermons.” She says… “all I want is Jesus.” 😭

3. She said that the things that “used to be attractive to her” now “disgust her” and that she is “not even tempted by them.”

There are so many other things I could comment on. But it is so refreshing to see a “celebrity” baby Christian approach their walk with the Lord with such humility and genuinely long for Christ alone.

Little note about the lips; this mauve-pink lipstick actually has a beautiful gold shimmer sheen throughout, when you look closely. So I decided to play on that. Added the KvD, mostly concentrating on the centre of the lips, but it was very gold-tin-man-esque! Blotted, then applied the lipstick on top of what was already there. The gold could very much still be seen, but blended seamlessly with the lip colour, much better. I applied the teeniest bit of gloss in the centre for some shine. As the day wore on, I noticed the lip colour looked more coral with a gold sheen, than the pink it started out as (personally I preferred the pink), but it was pretty nonetheless.
