infected design inspiration goes to the person so boring i fall asleep whenever i even talk to them (true fact happened last night and the night before) @unoriginal-and-dumb

if anyone’s curious all my infected pictures were taken at requiem cafe in anaheim!! im a frequent customer there and i highly recommend it to literally anyone who can go, the customer service is amazing and its queer owned and queer friendly!! and very neurodivergent friendly too, theres comfortable seating in the tree lounge with enough space to not feel claustrophobic, the lights are always low which makes it easier to avoid sensory overload, theres lots of textures and colors to look at and feel in all the themes, and theres an item shop with stuffed animals that’s generally much quieter than the main area and plays soft animal crossing music. i know some of the staff personally and they love working there and feel confortable there!!! and beyond all that the drinks and food are just SOOO good. the drinks are generally around 5-8 dollars depending on the size and add-ons you get and the food is around 12-16 dollars. everything on the menu is fantasy/gaming themed with some references to popular fandoms like fnaf and danganronpa!! its located just over the freeway from disneyland & the anaheim convention center!! go check it out!!! give them business!!! they’re wonderful!!! they also do frequent events for fandoms you dont see get public attention much. they just had an owl house event in february and before that they had a persona 5 event in the fall, and between that theyve had little events here and there like a halloween party and a scott pilgrim new year’s celebration. they’re having a homestuck event next month with a ticketed (sold out) 4/13 dance party and a ticketed (still open!) 4/20 trickster rave (i will be at that one!) PLEASE GO GIVE THEM BUSINESS THEY ARE SO AWESOME

[[I just want to celebrate how far I've come... as of yesterday I have 431 pages of the current demon arc, that's since Dec 22nd so like a little under four months? That's a lot yall. I had no idea it would get this big. I started with the backstories for alastor, zeiryn and kasper and had no idea of what I was going to do with them other than just sort of throw them in a room with jarvis. Book one turned into mostly the romance arcs between alastor/stolas and zeiryn/kasper and that was ACRES OF FUN, I loved it, I've reread it a thousand times. Book two is more jarvis's journey in hell, there's a ball and a fun club scene and then we get into jarvis's descent into the underworld leading to his full emergence as the demoness. I've still got a long ways to go so this is gonna end up being bigger then the viktorverse novel. ANOTHER WHOLE ASS NOVEL. GUYS ITS ALREADY NOVEL LENGTH. Seriously never thought I'd get here. I had months in 2022 where I didn't write. My advice is always: keep consuming new media. I just happened to stumble across a cosplayer who did stolas and I was like whaaaaaat is this insane beauty, I need this in my life right now. And my fate was sealed. I had the insane idea of wanting to put together all the characters across fandoms that they cosplayed and that's how zeiryn and kasper were born (technically I'm sort of writing fanfic for characters in fandoms I haven't even seen, just with completely made up backstories). Keep going. Even through your worst writers block, don't give up. And take care of your mental health. A lot of this is due to me finally getting my meds straightened out. But we're doing this! We're in the middle of a demon ball! Jarvis is going to dance with the devil then he meets SIGFRYD (SOMEHOW SIGFRYD RETURNED) and then zeiryn and kasper are going to fuck on lucifers desk. I'm happy. I'm ecstatic. Writing is the most fun anyone can have doing anything.]]

General FAQ

These are various general questions about my stream! These will be updated or more q&a will be added in the future <3 (last edited January 2024)

Q: Why did you choose the name CypherGhost?

A: I chose Cypher because it is the name of some of my favourite song(s) by BTS’ rap line. I know that it means to put a message into secret writing or to encode it or it can also reference a gathering of beatboxers, rappers and/or breakers in a circle which then extemporaneously make music together but my main reason is for the BTS songs, especially Cypher pt4. As for ghosts, it's in reference to my nickname Kasper and the fact I like ghosts! I may not be a ghost vtuber but it just held a place in my heart which is why I kept it!

Q: What pronouns do you prefer? A: I prefer he/him/his but I do not mind they/them/theirs, just no feminine pronouns please :) 

Q: How does dyslexia affect you?

A: I have issues with spelling with no aid but I also have issues with pronouncing and reading some things too out loud. I always try to read all the dialogue and messages out loud for those who cannot watch or can't read well but sometimes I do mess up but I try my best 🙂 I may need to ask you guys to tell me how you pronounce your name or what name you prefer, but always correct me if I am wrong! I always want to make sure everyone feels welcomed <3

Q: Why did you start streaming?

A: At first it was a way to try to get better with my confidence while doing something I liked, which was art and games. I have really bad anxiety which means that every time I actually get nervous to press the go live button. But as time went on, I really enjoyed keeping good vibes, the amazing people who join my streams and wanting to make a safe space for people to vibe in and have a laugh no matter what <3

Q: Why did you choose to be a Vtuber over cam or no cam?

A: Looks are something I am not the best in the confidence area with, so I decided to not become a cam streamer. Although in the past and on rare occasions I do cosplay streams, cosplay isn’t me on my own. I also tried being a constant cosplay streamer and I burned out so fast!... I could have gone no cam, I used to do that before cosplay and had a small picture in the corner but it didn’t really work out. I wanted something to be interactive with my community visually so Vtuber was the way! 

Q: Why do you not allow back-seating?

A: I find back-seating embarrassing to me, I feel like I am not playing the game right and start to feel self-conscious which brings my mood down a lot. If I do tell you to not tell me things about the game, I know you might be doing it out of a good heart but I will ask if I need help and it will be greatly appreciated!

Q: Do you make your emotes, panels & layouts? If so, what do you use?

A: Yes I make nearly everything myself! I draw all my emotes (unless credited otherwise such as the tail wag emote) and my PFP!

For emotes and art I use Clip Studio Paint which is the main software I use for drawing. I tend to draw traditionally first then draw them up digitally

My new overlays and backgrounds on stream are by creators on Etsy which I have fully credited in my Twitch bio!

Q: What software do you use to stream?

A: OBS! I have previously used twitch studios when I used to stream on my gaming laptop and also have used streamlabs obs but OBS has been the best so far!

Q: When is your stream anniversary?

A: September 7th but May 12th is my affiliate anniversary!

Q: What do you use to draw on art streams?

A: I use my Waccom One tablet with screen to draw with and clip studio paint to draw! If I am doing animation, it is with photoshop or toon boom harmony!
