Kise was totally in love with Kasamatsu at some point. Like CRAZY IN LOVE. By the time the Captain realized he liked him back, the model was already dating Aomine.

sportbaes:
there wasn’t anyway that hana could stay away from basketball, it was a sport she grew up with. her mother was a professional player after all, her brother loved to play in his free time, despite being an idol. although, it was best that no one knew about that, she had been aware of the amount of girls that were his fans. if they knew yuzuru was her older brother- she didn’t want to think about it.
it was probably best to be a manager of their school’s team, at least, she got to watch them play, practice and help out the team members of kaijo’s basketball team. plus, she did watch last year’s game, along with the error that kasamatsu made. she too, thought it was a good idea for him to become captain; although she thought it for different reasons.
a practice menu would be a good start, because practicing the same routine over and over just wouldn’t allow everyone to improve. she had watched their practice’s during club activities, especially when they weren’t aware. although she did want them to rely on her, with her being their manager, she wanted to do everything she could but even for her there were limits.
once club practiced finished for the day, there were mental notes she had to tell the coach, she didn't want to seem forward or harsh to the club members, or they'd dislike her. it wasn't like she didn't know what she was doing, even kise hadn't seen her abilities, guess they'd have to find out.
her body turned to face the coach, ah, that did need to be discussed before leaving. even as the first years were tidying up, "sure, where did you want to start?" she could mention some of the play styles she noticed for a few of them, but, she needed to listen to the coach first. in case he noticed it too.
~~~~
Every human had their limits. That was why humans couldn't live alone. They needed each other and to lean on them to an extent. Naturally, this debrief wasn't to rebuke her like he would with the regulars for the error. Girls were different than males. Plus, while she was part of the team, her role was different. She was to support the team into guiding them to be better much like he did. They were supposed to help one another to fulfill their goal of making Team Kaijō the best they can be as well as give them opportunities to practice.
Coach Takeuchi exhaled. "Well, I must admit. It is my fault that the regulars have stuck to their individual skills and continue to refine them because it's important for them to have their own weapon but I noticed when the players give you questions on why they are practicing new skills, sometimes you assert yourself like with Hayakawa and with others, you come off like your practice menu for the day was just a suggestion and not a requirement. ...You need to continuously assert yourself with these boys Shirakami. As you can see on Team Kaijō, they aren't all bad otherwise they would've immediately dismissed your practice menu the moment you seemed like they could choose to practice whatever they wanted but when you're in charge of the practice menu, act like it. I understand that you're their peer, but you shouldn't worry about them liking you. Once they learn to respect you, they'll automatically trust that you have their best interests in mind, got it?"
After awaiting Shirakami’s response, he then added “As for the players’ individual styles, I’m sure you’ve noticed but let’s go over each player’s skillsets and let me hear you give them feedback on how they can get better, and you can relay that to them tomorrow.”
“Kasamatsu is the captain and the point guard. His best skills are drives and three pointers which you did have him practice today. If his opponent approaches him to prevent a shot, he drives. If they back away to prevent a drive, he shoots. It’s one of the most orthodox and powerful styles. …However, when it comes to improving his rebounding skill, it’s a matter of improving his vertical jump and unlike Hayakawa, he lacks explosive power. …How would you suggest Kasamatsu improve on rebounding?”
Welcome to Team Kaijō
Continued from:
Yukio was the disciplinarian at his house when his father wasn't around, he had a temper, so he easily gave into his violent tendencies, plus as the elder brother who followed rules and a member of the disciplinary committee, he had to enforce the standards. Coach Takeuchi gave him the position of captain despite his mistake last year to force him to improve and redeem himself and he was trying to make himself worthy of the title and so he put it on himself to keep the team together which meant putting Kise in his place.
Coach Takeuchi had naturally asked for Shirakami's qualifications when she asked to join the team as a manager and when she proposed coming up with the practice menu, he decided to let her have a try at it although it was clear from what he heard that she had been unsure. He would be sure to address it later. Although something about her appearance reminded him of a player for the national Japanese women's basketball team he knew in the past, Uchida Hina.
Kobori replied "I understand. We'll be sure to ask you for help."
~Later~
Yukio let out a sigh. Practice had been rough but in a different way. Normally it was physically exhausting, but he at least worked on his skills and knew he was improving. He couldn't see the practice menu changing anytime soon since everyone still had to get better at their new skills, but it was frustrating not getting there yet. Then there was the matter of dealing with his new manager...
He commanded the first-years to start cleaning the gym then he and the others eventually left to get changed in the locker room.
Coach Takeuchi approached the white-haired girl and asked "Shirakami, do you have a moment? I would like to debrief about today's practice menu with you and how you think it went with the team."
Oh, so I’m just gonna be over here needing water from how good your writings are. Babes you’re gonna kill me with some of these breeding fics 😭 could we get more Kasamatsu please! Oh, and how’re you doing??
Kasamatsu supremacy 🙌🏼 alsoooo My winter break just started so I’m soooo happpy. I’m gonna get back into writing so I’m even more stoked about that.
Nsfw Ofc , minors don’t interact
Kasamatsu was the typical boy next door. The man who singly handedly kept chivalry alive. The one who always held doors open for people - no matter how far they were - the one to give you notes when you missed a lecture, the one who would always mark your name on the attendance sheet when you couldn’t make it to an seminar, the one to always pay for coffee, lunch and snacks during study session. He was a ray of sunshine in the hell hole you two were stuck in.
But why did you want to change that? What fuelled your urge to destroy that innocent spark in his eyes? What made you want to corrupt his angelic nature?
It started with the tight, v-neck shirts. You two studied together in the library after your classes were done. You would look up from your laptop occasionally to see if Kasamatsu was looking - but each time you were met with the sight of a hyper focused Kasamatsu working on an assignment. You hated it. You started to sit next to him instead of being across to him. You made sure to leave as little space as possible between the two of you. You wore push ups bras, Straps tightened all the way to a ensure your boobs were barely staying in your shirt. Still, no response. You began to purposely roll your pens over to his side, reaching over him to grab it - and that’s when you saw him take the first glance. Success.
First you would roll your pen, then it progressed to you reaching over to grab his things, placing your bag on his side - and each time he fell for your trap. You got a sick sense of excitement out of it. Eventually, the short glances became too dull - and you werent planning on stopping.
You’d invite him over to your dorm - you two would always study for tests in your dorm - but something that was not part of your tradition was you being in short-shorts and a tank top. The two would always be wearing some sort of hoodie or sweats, so seeing the sudden change in attire was surprising to him. He didn’t say anything, he didn’t react at all. Each time he came over the more suggestive your clothes got. It wasn’t hard to see the dark red blush on his cheeks as he tried to focus on reviewing his notes. You were always looking for an excuse to be close to him, to bend down infront of him or get on your knees. Ans each time you left him flustered and stumbling on his words. You knew he didn’t look - he respected you too much to look at you like that - but that was only until you stopped wearing shorts. When you greeted him at the door when only your panties and a tank top on, you knew you had won over his morals. He stared, shamelessly, when you bent down to grab a drink from your mini fridge. You tried your best to ignore the boner in his pants, biting your lips to hold back a grin.
Your shift in conversations didn’t help either. From asking about basketball practice to urging him to tell you his kinks. It didn’t help that you only had those conversations when you were alone in your dorm, in your underwear. “Tell me!” You whined. “Why do you need to know-“ “C’mon! I wanna know how Yukio Kasamatsu likes his girls! Boobs or ass?” He would brush off the conversation and resume studying. But sometimes he would slip up. “-no tell me! Have you tried badkshots?” “…no..” “NO WAY?! Just baby making missionary-“ “I haven’t tried anything.” The awkward silence didn’t help his growing blush. “You’re a virgin?” You asked, breaking the silence. “Yeah,” he admitted, eyes glued to his notebook. You knew he wasn’t studying, he was too embarrassed to show his face.
“So-“ You began, voice dripping with mischief. “You don’t know what you like?” You two had a habit of sitting on the floor during your study sessions, so you began to crawl your way over to him. “I- umm- no - but-“ “but?” “I’ve seen stuff I like-“ he finally got the courage to look up, his breath getting caught in his throat when he was met by your eyes. You were so close to him, mere inches away from his face. You could feel his breath on your lips, you could feel the heat radiating off his cheeks. “Tell me, Yukio,” You said getting up. You stood up and walked behind him, sitting down and bringing your lips close to his ear. “What do you like?”
Your hands snaked their way from his back to his crotch. You began to palm the bulge in his pants. His breath hitched and his muscles tensed. “I-“ He let out a moan when your squeezed his growing member. “I like it when you touch me like that,” he managed to breath out. “Oh really?” You teased. Your hand grabbed into his shoulder to balance yourself as you got on your knees. You leaned in closer to him, lips ghosting the shell of his ear. “What else do you like?” You whispered.
“I like,” he paused to grunt. “-your lips.” You smiled and pulled away from his ear, dipping down to his neck and placing a soft kiss on the side. He let out a gasp when he felt your lips. “Do you like that?” You asked. “Mmhmm.” He responded. You began to pepper soft kisses on his neck, when you felt him twitch you began to suck on his neck, swirling your tongue on his skin and leaving dark marks. He was fully erect, his hard dick causing a tent in his pants. You pulled your hand away, recoiling back to his chest, your hands feeling down his toned chest as they made their way to the waist band of his sweats. Pushing past the elastic waist, you were greeted with a moan as your fingers slide past his underwear and to his dick. Your cold fingers grabbed his hot, throbbing dick. Your palms slowly glided across his shaft.
Kasamatsu was a moaning mess. Hands gripped so hard that his knuckles were white. Eyes shut and head thrown back. The feeling of your teeth sinking into his skin didn’t help him either. You knew he was a virgin - but you were still shocked when he came in his pants so quick. The dark wet spot was visible in his grey sweats and his face glowed a dark red.
You pulled your hand out, the tips of your fingers sticky from his cum.
“You know,” you said as you stood up. You got on your feet, walking in-front of him and watching his dazed out eyes drift up to you. His eyes widened when you began to take off your shirt. You could see the bulge in his pants begin to reappear once he realized he realized you weren’t wearing a bra underneath. “You never told me what kind of stuff you watch.” You took off your panties and stood infront of him.
The way he looked up at you - like a mortal who had just witnessed a Goddess for the first time - was a look you knew you would never get tired from.
What about a scenario with Kasamatsu, where he is trying to confess to his crush, who is really good at playing guitar and ignore popular guys like Kise?
Of course! I am sorry it took so long to write this. I was struggling on what to write, at last it's done. I hope you like it!
_________________________________________________________
Title: Awkward Confessions Fluff No Warning
Kasamatsu watched you from afar, you had captured his attention a few weeks ago. You probably didn’t notice that you had attracted Kasamatsu but he couldn’t help it. You both had so much in common, from you being able to play guitar, love of knee high socks, and both being semi quiet. When he first met you, it was through Kise, in which Kise was flirting with you. You had hit him in his head with your note book and rolled your eyes. You instantly rejected Kise, which surprised Kasamatsu since no girl ever rejected him.
Ever since that day he tried to talk to you but instead of walking up to you, he would walk past you. Sweating bullets and hardly able to form sentences when he was around you. Today though, he was going to force himself to talk to you. Even if he made himself to look like an idiot in front of you. He took several deep breaths before walking over to you.
You didn’t notice him walking towards you because you were focused on playing your guitar. You were writing a song, about your feelings that you had for a certain basketball player. He made your heart beat out of your chest when you caught him looking at you. You found Kasamatsu to be so cute especially with how shy he got when looked away blushing.
Kasamatsu stopped once he was close enough but didn’t want to interrupt your playing. The sound was beautiful and he could tell you would putting your feelings into it. He watched as you nodded your head mouthing the words quietly. His eyes trailed over you and he couldn’t help but fight the blush. The way your hair was tied back, the way the sun made you shine even brighter.
“You are so beautiful…” He meant to say it in his head, he really did. But the way your head shot up to him, and a blush covered your face he knew he did not.
“C-Crap, I-I am s-sorry. I d-didn’t m-mean it. No wait that came out wrong, I mean you are I just you…” He fell quiet once he heard you giggling non stop at his frantic flailing. He watched as you laughed and his face was even more red if possible.
“Kasamatsu senpai, don’t scare me like that. But no need to apologize, I think you are beautiful too.” You stuck your tongue out and he blushed a dark red.
“Anyway, how can I help you?” You tilted your head, and the little confidence he had disappeared so he remained quiet before rubbing his neck.
“I-I wanted to~uhm, who is the song about?” He fell quiet unable to confess and you look at your guitar. It was your turn to blush but not as dark as him.
“You heard?”
“A little bit here and there. It’s really pretty.”
“Want me to be honest?”
“Sure?” It was more of a question and you patted the bench beside you.
“It’s about a person I really like…”
“Oh… Do I know them?” He asked not sure if he wanted to hear.
“You know him really well…”
“….Kise?”
“Ew no…” You smacked his head for even suggesting that, but he held his head slightly.
“Owe… who?”
“You…”
“Oh…” His shoulders slumped but then his head snapped up to meet your eyes.
“Wait…. me?” Once again you started laughing awkwardly.
“I understand if I am not the type of girl you like. I just, thought you were really cute. Plus you are really nice, and smart too,”
“N-No, I do like you… a lot. I-I h-had every intention confessing but then I made an idiot of myself like I always do an~” you cut him off placing your lips on top of his. Kasamatsu’s and your face both turned red but he gently cupped your cheeks slightly.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” He asked against your lips and you nodded with a smile.
“Of course.”
“Can I hear the full song?” He pulled away and you nodded with a smile.
⇀ kasamatsu yukio
“yukio, are you alright?” you asked, peering at him in concern. his cheeks were far too red, even considering you were sitting in a sauna, and you were worried he was going to collapse. scooting closer, you cursed when your towel came loose, slipping down to expose your breasts before you could catch it.
“i-- uh, yeah, fine,” kasamatsu stuttered, averting his eyes towards the sauna door. how he had managed to get stuck alone with you of all people was beyond him, and he wasn’t sure if the gods were trying to be kind or play a malicious joke on him.
your eyes narrowed as you watched him look at anything but you, allowing you ample time to take in the view before you. regardless of how shy he was, kasamatsu was built like a god.
sharp blue eyes, choppy black hair, and muscles honed from years of playing sports all combined into a man that anyone would be lucky to have and, if he weren’t so stuttery around women, he could have his pick. which was why you felt blessed to be here with him, although you weren’t sure where the rest of the team was. they and the other managers should have arrived ten minutes ago, but there wasn’t any sign of them.
leaning even closer caused him to lean the other way, sucking his lip between his teeth and nibbling hard enough to leave marks in the skin. “uh, w-what are you, um, d-doing?”
your hand met his forehead, brows furrowed in concern, but he didn’t feel any warmer than usual. the towel around you slipped again, falling open and sliding down your back and this time when you grabbed it, you kept it clasped between your hands, leaving your cleavage exposed.
kasamatsu choked on a moan, covering his face with one hand. how were you so oblivious?
“you look like you’re about to pass out,” you said, resting your hand on his knee.
though a towel separated your skin from his, your touch still sent a shock up to his crotch. the towel did nothing to hide his growing erection, and his awkward shifting to try anyway only drew your attention.
a soft gasp escaped you, and he caught where you were looking, an even deeper flush unrelated to the heat overtaking his face. a bead of sweat trickled down your chest, disappearing into the swell of your breasts, and he visibly gulped. “i-- i’m sorry-- i-- what are you doing?”
you had hoisted yourself up, hitching the towel up around your legs, and settled in his lap. your knees were on either side of his thighs and his breath hitched as you settled right over his hard cock. the realization that you weren’t wearing panties sent a shiver through him, and his nails dug into his palms to keep from touching you.
“well,” you murmured, hands coming to rest on his broad shoulders. they were damp and the muscles flexed under you, tense like a wound spring and you wondered what it would be like when they snapped. “i’m kind of coming onto you and this--” you ground your hips down, listening to his breath catch in his throat, “-- can’t be comfortable.”
“we-- we’re in public, _____,” he hissed, hands finally coming up to rest on your hips. they did nothing to stop you though, if anything pressing you down harder, and there was a definitive quiver in his voice. “what if someone walks in?”
the smile you gave him was almost devilish and he swallowed harshly. when your hands released the towel, it seemed to fall in slow motion, revealing your body to him and he groaned audibly in the back of his throat.
“i don’t think the others are coming,” you whispered, leaning forward until your breath mingled with his. his was rapid and uneven, eyes wide and full of anxiety, but he didn’t stop you or push you away. “yu, kiss me, please?”
hearing the usually stoic captain curse sent an unexpected chill up your spine, his voice gravelly with repressed lust and need. the kiss was more gentle than you expected given his hold on your hips, the skin molding beneath his fingers as he squeezed. you could feel how much he was holding back and carded your fingers through his hair, deepening the kiss and hoping to signal he could let go.
he groaned when your tongue dipped into his mouth, the sweet taste of you permeating his senses and, before he realized it, he was undoing the towel at his hips.
“you’re sure?” he rasped, thumb finding your clit when he settled you back down. with no towel impeding you now, he could feel how wet you were all over his shaft and moaned. his other hand came up, plucking one nipple then the other to hardness while he occupied your mouth with his tongue again.
your hips rolled, dragging your clit along the sensitive underside of his head and he twitched beneath you. pulling away, you laid a trail of kisses down his cheek to his ear, nipping the lobe before whispering, “i’m sure, captain. i want you to fuck me, please.”
“fuckin’ hell,” he groaned, pretty blue eyes narrow and hazy with lust. “need to prep you first--”
but you resisted, carding your fingers through his hair and slotting your lips against his in an aggressive kiss. your first touch on his aching cock caused him to jolt, and when you guided his tip to your entrance, all his willpower to resist fled.
your lips parted against his, a low gasp of pain escaping as he slipped inside. his hands tightened on you at that, brows furrowing in concern as he stopped you from going further.
“w-wait, you don’t--”
you cut him off with another kiss, distracting him and his hands loosened. you choked on a small noise of pleasure, nails digging into his shoulders as you sunk down a few more inches. “been waiting for this for too long,” you whispered, lifting up and spearing yourself on more than half his cock. his eyes rolled, head thumping back to hit the wall when you squeezed around him before continuing. “yu, do you know how long i’ve wanted you? but you were always so shy i didn’t know if you wanted me too.”
his heart skipped a beat at that, swinging his head back up to look directly at you for the first time. “i need you to take all of me, _____. god, please, i’ve been such a coward,” he moaned, forcing you down further still. you were so tight and warm and he had wanted this for so long that he felt like he was dreaming. “‘m gonna make it up to you now though, okay, princess?”
your toes curled as your hips finally met his, and he held you there for a long moment while he kissed you again, feeling you clench around him. your breaths came out in puffs against his lips as you shifted, whining in a need for more. “yukio, please please make it up to me and move*.”
“okay,” he whispered, helping you rock your hips against him. “i’ve got you.”
sweat rolled down your temples, your hair sticking to your neck as you rode him. the sting of his cock stretching you out was gone, replaced by waves of pleasure as you rode him. the air was stuffy and thick, clouding your thoughts and narrowing your focus down to the drag and pull of his cock inside you, your clit grinding down into his pelvic bone.
his lips left a trail all over the exposed column of your neck, down your shoulders and chest before latching onto one pert nipple. you tightened around him, hips stuttering in their rhythm, and he forced it back into sync with his upward thrusts.
“yu--kio--” you whined, yanking harshly at his hair, and he groaned around your nipple. he swirled his tongue around it as you ground down on him, more soft noises mixing with his name and praises. “you’re so big, so feel so good, yu. i’m gonna cum, want you to--”
releasing your breast with a wet pop, he moaned, “me too, princess. come on, cum around me. need to feel you cum for me.”
his thumb found your clit, circling it sloppily, spreading your slick around and your rhythm stuttered again before picking up until you were crying out his name into the thick air. your toes curled as the pleasure peaked and you fell forward into his chest, letting kasamatsu fuck you through your orgasm. you dragged him over the edge with you, breathing a broken, stuttered slur of your name against your neck.
when you caught your breath, you pulled back, tilting his head up to look at you. a bright blush was spreading across his cheeks, and he kept looking to you and away again.
“i uh, c-came inside. i’m so--”
you interrupted him with a kiss, tongue delving into his mouth and swallowing his moan.
“it’s okay,” you whispered upon pulling away. “i plan on this a lot more now.” he was still half hard inside you, and you squeezed around him to emphasize your point, drawing another moan from him.
“in that case,” he murmured, and grazed his thumb over your still sensitive clit, listening to your gasp with a smirk. “i think we could use a bit more time in here.”
Hey 😃 hope this is the correct way to send you the matchup 🙈
Female, heterosexual
MBTI: ENFJ-A, my sign is libra, reading and writing is my hobby, but in the summer months I prefer to go outside to a walk or meet with my friends and hang out, I don’t think that I have specific skill but I have tried many things 😅 Like climbing, kickboxing, dancing and a few other things (like Knitting 😂). My biggest weakness is that I can't say no. I don't want to hurt others and therefore try to please them. Typical Libra.
But I'm also very determined and when I set my mind on something, I get it done. Private life is then secondary. I work and study at the same time at the moment. This means I have less time for my friends. I am also the oldest sibling of three girls but the shortest one 😂
I‘m 5.1 ft and most of the People would describe my body type as chubby 🥰 (I’m fine with that now. Sometimes I struggle with it but most of the time I’m happy and confident with it)
I have no problem talking to strangers and get into conversation with most people. I am rarely embarrassed, but if I am, I can always laugh about it 😂
I really hope I Make it on time to send you this 🙈💕
@obsessedknb
I hope you got adequate sleep and see this when you wake up! I still can’t believe you woke up at 3am to send a matchup 😂
Best Matchup. . .
Kise Ryōta
Kise is an ESFP, and ENFJs and ESFPs can seem like they have nothing in common, especially when it comes to how both of you see the world and think about things
ENFJs can be idealistic and goal-oriented, while ESFPs tend to be pragmatic and hedonistic
however, these are only different approaches to the same “thing,” meaning both MBTIs share a similar value system… but just have different ways to approaching/solving things
speaking of similar value system, both types tend to share deep empathy and compassion for others and try to be of service to people they care about
now that we addressed the possibilities with this pairing of MBTI… let’s move onto your zodiacs: apparently libra women are extremely compatible with gemini men (but again, take this with a grain of salt because sources aren’t too reliable… but this is the general consensus to keep in mind)
I actually picked Kise for the main reason of seeing your personality traits and your tendencies, and it’s only the MBTI and zodiac that solidified my choice
the first thing that stuck out to me is how you tried so many hobbies and skills for the sake of experimenting, which is VERY similar to Kise’s experimentation throughout his middle school (and high school too) years, especially with sports
literally both of you would be the most versatile couple ever LOL
because both of you have tried tons of shit, it’s quite clear that both of you are open to new experiences and some level of spontaneity, adding further spark to the dynamic
and Kise has actually tried dancing before too, according to one of the Replace novels! he’d totally try to challenge you and maybe even give you a few pointers in Dance Dance Revolution…
while he would try to pester you to teach him some skills you’ve learned over the years, you’d also ask him to teach you some of the sports he’s learned in Teiko (besides basketball, of course)
why do I get the feeling that he’d insist on watching you showcase your skills to him… and then he’d challenge himself to copy and outdo you within a week or something??
imagine him trying to punch and kick the air in trying to learn how to kickbox
or him bringing yarn and knitting needles from who knows where and trying to figure out the stitches during break
HE LOVES HOW YOU’RE ABLE TO TALK AND STRIKE CONVERSATIONS SO EASILY
most of the time, no one entertains his antics and dramatic movements so when you show up… both of you are talking nonstop, like… Kasamatsu has to DRAG this man away from you before he yapped his mouth off to the sky
however, you’re able to keep Kise in check because he’s not so friendly to strangers, since he won’t think they’re “worthy” until they prove him wrong otherwise; in other words, you’re the one doing the friendly conversations with strangers while Kise steps back to observe the newcomer for a bit
gosh, he thinks it’s SO CUTE when you try to laugh off your embarrassment whenever that happens because it just makes the conversation livelier, y’know? Kise is always the one doing the fake tears and over-the-top exclaims, so he feels warm when he sees you taking things easy too
he finds it annoying that you can’t bring yourself to say no to people, solely for the reason that he hates the possibility that you can easily get yourself taken advantage of by other people
and knowing Kise, he doesn’t see other people very highly at all (again, until they prove him wrong)
it’s the feeling he gets that bugs him so much from seeing the person he respects a lot (a.k.a. you) being used by some no-gooder random person who he thinks isn’t worth of your time nor effort
“(y/n)-cchi!! If this person is pestering you, just say so! After all…” Kise turns from you to face the person in front of you with a cold gaze. “They wouldn’t be here for anything else other than because they care about you… right?”
it’s the “subtle” lines and passive-aggressiveness (or just outright cold-cut brutal words) he gives to the people with ulterior motives, since he knows you’re a people-pleaser and can’t bring yourself to turn people down
he already loves your liveliness, but the fact that you’re actually determined for the things you’re passionate about or you set your mind on? you’ve completely won him over at this point
he feels the exact same way in his own life, not really taking academics too seriously but dead set on trying to be the best in sports
you say that your private life is usually the priority, where you’re often too busy in your studies and work to hang out with friends… but that’s exactly how Kise also operates
his life primarily revolves around basketball and modeling, that’s it; contrary to popular belief, he actually has no free time to hang out with other classmates or non-basketball friends (honestly, it seems like his only friends are people related to basketball)
in fact, in one of the Replace novels, even though Kise knew what to say to the girls (who were coworkers from his modeling work) in the group date with his Kaijō teammates because he’s socially smart, he actually doesn’t know how to genuinely connect with them at all because he’s primarily a basketball junkie // the moment one of his teammates pulled up a basketball strategy chart at the date, every single teammate became completely engrossed and enthusiastic in analyzing potential plays… completely ignoring the girls at the table the entire time
so what I’m saying is, Kise won’t feel as pressured to constantly hang out with you and do his obligatory “boyfriend duties” that a lot of people might immediately expect (or even demand for)
of course he’d be sweet and affectionate, but it’s only a matter of time and priorities, and he’s thankful that you’d at least keep yourself busy while he works on his own goals too
he’d stare at you in wonder when you tell him you have two younger sisters, because he himself has two older sisters; he’d ask you how does it feel to be the eldest, or if you somehow influenced/encouraged any of your younger siblings to do a hobby/skill
knowing that you’re the eldest in the family makes him respect you more because that just means you’ve dealt with so much more with younger kids and sees you as the more “responsible” one between you and him
he finds your height endearing… you’re like a Kuroko, and he gladly headpats you and try to do other things to you like how he would to Kuroko to tease him or something
he’s a model, but he places more emphasis on attitude/aura/skills way more than appearances; it’s those three attributes that make someone super attractive to him
besides, he only started modelling because of one of his older sisters, and he thinks it’s fun anyways… I mean he knows that he’s a conventionally attractive guy, but he likes to think that he exudes the confidence and skills to back it up too
long story short, you’re attractive to him
he’s further convinced that you’re secretly Kuroko when you tell him that you love to read and write, and once again, his respect meter for you shoots up OFF THE CHARTS
Can I request hcs about Kise, Midorima and Kasamatsu sharing a bed with their s/o for the first time??
I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I’VE NEVER WRITTEN ANYTHING SO FAST LOL
this is such a cute request :((( of course !!! ,,,i actually liked writing kise in this. i know y’all know that i can’t stand him but this was a good + soft request. i was v honored to write this
midorima shintarou
he’s screaming internally but externally he is calm + only slightly blushing
midorima ORDERS YOU to not try any funny business + states that the only reason he came over was because he felt bad that you were scared of the storm + you were home alone
HE JUST WANTED YOU TO BE SAFE. THAT’S IT. NOTHING ELSE. NANODAYO.
you watch him do his whole night routine right there in your bedroom + you have to keep yourself from laughing at this man’s precision + seriousness
it’s a little awkward at first because mido’s only ever slept by himself so he doesn’t know what to do with his hands
you snuggle into him to try + calm the both of you down,,,you from the storm + him from this new experience
he tries to shrug you off + reiterates that thERE SHALL BE NO FUNNY BUSINESS
but then lightning flashes + thunder crashes + you’re trembling against him so he wraps an arm around your waist + pulls you closer
he eventually falls asleep once he deems that you are more calm + sees that you’re dozing off, but at some point in the middle of the night you woke up to pee + you just had to take some photos of cute sleeping mido
he is pissed @ you
but he’d share a bed with you again lol
kasamatsu yukio
listen, this man is an absolute mess
hE IS THE CEO OF RESPECTING WOMEN SO WHEN HE GOT STUCK AT YOUR HOUSE BECAUSE OF THE SEVERE STORM OUTSIDE HE ALMOST JUST LET THE WIND + RAIN TAKE HIM AWAY
he is very anxious + you have to soothe him the entire night
he absolutely refuses to let you wear anything revealing or thin to bed, so you sleep in a sweater + sweatpants just for him to feel better
he sleeps like a wooden plank, laying flat on his back with his arms clasped in front of him so that he makes no mistakes of touching you or making you feel violated
IS ON THE EDGE OF THE BED
if you’re a forward person or a cuddler, he might just combust if you snuggle into him
he’d relax into it eventually, once you reassure him that you’re comfortable + this is fine
he would fall asleep once he relaxes enough + gets comfortable enough
wakes up clinging onto you + immediately starts to apologize + freak out, worrying that he’s violated your personal space
you have to promise him one thousand times that THIS IS FINE KASAMATSU ITS OKAY
lets just say ,,, you’ll be very respected that night lol
kise ryouta
is the most excited man on the face of this planet
he was probably the one who made it happen
let’s say the team had a trip to akita coming up to play a practice match against yosen + they had to stay overnight of course, but didn’t have a lot of funds
kasamatsu suggested doubling up to a room + kise immediately calls dibs on you because you’re his s/o
the whole time he’d be asking you if you’re comfortable/warm/cold/sweaty/tired/awake
it’d be like a sleepover, he’d wanna ask you deep questions + learn your darkest secrets
it could be fun if you’re the type of person who’s okay with staying up talking all night
needless to say, neither of you get sleep because kise is v excited + he does not leave you alone for the entire night
he also is v handsy but doesn’t necessarily try to initiate anything. he’s just handsy. end of story.
also a v cuddly boi, just let him cuddle
has a night routine so he really doesn’t come to bed until you’ve been in bed for about thirty minutes lol
if you’ve got a night routine, you guys will do it together + take turns showing each other what you do + explain why
like a fun lil skincare routine tutorial he’d love that omg
Ubuyashiki Sora's Contacts
Lucifer - The Sir (Sora thinks she's funny, Lucifer would prefer it if she just used his named in her contacts.)
Mammon - Weirdo (He's a weirdo, no two ways about it.)
Leviathan - Player One (She thought it was unique.)
Satan - Sweater Dude (She refused to use his name for the first three weeks. Refused.)
Asmodeus - Fashion Police (Asmo snorted once when she used he term, Sora has hung onto it ever since.)
Beelzebub - The Giant (Sora is ninety pounds of spite, motherly affection, and hair-brained ideas. She also recognizes the fact that Beel could squash her like an ant... Not so much with his brothers.)
Belphegor - ...Of TERROR! (Her idea of a joke. Belphegor was just glad she didn't go with 'Snugglebug'.)
Diavolo - Tormenter (ALL of the Ubuyashiki siblings has some beef with Diavolo. Sora's is more playful once everything is resolved, her siblings? Not so much.)
Barbatos - The Collaborator (However, Sora is the only one who has a rap sheet with Barbatos. It's more comical than anything though.)
Luke - New Little Brother (Didn't even think. The moment the boy gave her his number, this was the name already in the name bar. She was possessed by a higher being. It was meant to be. He got adorably huffy for several hours.)
Simeon - Christopher Peugeot (He's not living it down, plus she likes to see Leviathan absolutely freak the fuck out everytime he catches sight of the name.)
Solomon - The Sorcerer (Solomon set it himself, she can't change it. Period. It amuses him.)
Diana Hambleton - Witchy Apprentice (Set by Solomon alongside his own contact information. Diana gets twitchy whenever it's brought up, mostly because Solomon is set as 'Beloved Mentor' in her contacts. She hates him.)
Spade Hambleton - Time Traveling Cat Husband (Again, Solomon set the contact name. She can't change it, Mammon's convinced she has a thing for him because of the 'Cat Husband' moniker. Sora doesn't even have the Goddamn context for three fourths of his name.)
Eirny Hambleton - Emergency Contact??? (Diana's supposed half-sister, married to a vampire named Bridget, and is apparently a Hunter. Honestly, Sora has no fucking clue. The woman has only called to tell her that she was the one responsible for looking over her siblings, which she appreciates, but there was a lot of screaming involving 'Useless Hotel Managers', 'Tea Parties', and 'Goddamnit Rupert!' in the background.)
Bridget - Teacup Lady (All Sora knows about this woman is that Satan owes her half a dozen favors over a priceless tea set, and that she might be the vampire Eirny's married to.)
Marchosias - Sias (Marchosias's general preference when it comes to nicknames.)
Phenex - Bane Of My Existence (The brother's all have Phenex listed as some sort of expletive, alongside Mephistopheles, Sora's... Nice enough to just be slightly insulting.)
Mio - Cuzzo (This is in english, Mio set it, Sora is eternally confused as to why, it's not a word. She doesn't understand it's use.)
Yuzuru - Bargain Buddy (A store once owed them two hundred dollars.)
Nagisa - Nagi (The only one who insisted on his own nickname.)
Minato - Mina (Woefully resigned.)
Rukia - Ruki (Besides thinking it a bit boyish, Rukia's actually okay with this.)
Asuka - Asu-chan (Asuka endeavors to change this nickname at some point. Until then, she's stuck with it.(
Yachiko - Yachi (It was mandatory! She's her little sister.)
Yaeko - Yae (Again, mandatory, all of her other siblings have nicknames in her phone and real life, it is a decree.)
Yasuo - Yasu (Same as his triplets. He's slightly more indigent about it though.)
Reiji - Rei (Still kept out of habit, old childhood nickname from when Sora could only pronounce half of his name.)
Iwata Mamoru - Secret Mother (Childhood friend, bit of a mother hen, which... is kind of justified considering the fact that he saw Sora nearly die the first time they met as kids. Utterly confused by the entire demon situation. Is a year older then her and Reiji. One of the potential guys Sora is probably dating whenever any of her other siblings end up in the Devildom. And yes. Sora still gets caught up in otome shenanigans, demons or no.)
Yamasaki Kishiko - Reiji's Fling (She gets pissed off whenever this name is brought up. Reiji's current girlfriend. Two years older than her and Reiji.)
Kasamatsu Jun - Bitch Baby (He pissed her off shortly before she got booted to the Devildom. The other childhood friend, and one of the other potential guys Sora is probably dating when she isn't involved with the Devildom.)
Akiyama Takeshi - Mamoru's Guy??? (Demonology expert, involved with the same organization Allegra and Luka are apart of. Met Mamoru at a coffee shop by 'accident', knows Solomon. Somehow. He owes Diana several thousand Grim, only in her phone in the timelines where she or Mio weren't the ones sent to the Devildom.)
Igarashi Shiori - Quiet Neighbor (One of the Ubuyashiki's next door neighbors, incredibly quiet and reserved. One of the people Sora might be dating in the alternate timelines.)
Igarashi Nanami - Loud Neighbor (One of the Ubuyashiki's next door neighbors, is the younger sister of Shiori and incredibly outgoing.)
Allegra Berlusconi - Girl With A Gun (Held her at gunpoint before giving her her contact information, a normally very cheerful, and somewhat naive, beyond that though. Has fierce conviction, and kind of squeezes Luke half to death when the first meet. Grew up with Luka Bianchi. An exorcist.)
Luka Bianchi - Exorcist (The young man in charge of Sora's neighborhood church, is only in her phone during the timelines where one of her siblings is the one in the Devildom. Is actually an exorcist from an organization, and is officially ordained. He and Allegra are noted to be romantically involved.)
Ubuyashiki Takeru - Father (The Ubuyashiki siblings father, a small time business man. He sports black hair and grey eyes.)
Ubuyashiki Ushio - Mother (The Ubuyashiki siblings mother. A red head with a fiery personality to match, and has dark purple eyes. An actress of some fame.)
Urisha 'Uri' Matthews - Cockroach (Personally set, an inside joke apparently. The nineteen year old half-human daughter of Dantalion, and heavily favors her mother in pretty much everything but hair color, and a supposed wannabe 'recruit' of Solomon's. Mostly a self-taught witch. Was almost the second exchange student before Diavolo found that Lilith still had living descendants. Trying to float under the radar until Luka calls in a favor in all timelines and she gets dragged into the story during season three. Has four pacts with preexisting demons, those being of Sitri, Gremory, Oriax, and Marchosias.)
Omg this is such a cute request!! No worries anon, I understand you perfectly!
This will be separated into two parts, so part one will feature Rakuzan, Shutoku, and Kaijo.
Puppy Love! Part 1: Rakuzan, Shutoku, and Kaijo
Rakuzan
Mibuchi shivers, wrapping his arms around his body. “…I feel like someone’s watching us.” he states, before eyeing Mayuzumi suspiciously.
“I’m not. You’re not my type.” Mayuzumi’s deadpan answer earns a snort from Nebuya.
“You afraid of ghosts or something, Reo?” Nebuya teases, laughing when the black haired basketball player humphs angrily, hands on his hips.
“I’m not scared of ghosts!”
“Reo-nee, ghosts are scary though!” Hayama shivers. “What if it’s a vengeful ghost that died in this gym or something years ago?!”
“They say if it knows your name, it’ll kill you.”
“Chi-chan??? Where’d you hear that?!” Mibuchi yelps, hands pressed to his chest. “No one say my name out loud!!”
“Mibuchi Reo.” Mayuzumi snaps, ignoring Mibuchi’s pained cry. “I read it in one of my light novels.”
“Arf.”
“WAHHH!!!” Mibuchi screams, and Hayama manages to leap out of the way at the last minute before Mibuchi completely crashes into the shorter male.
“Reo-nee, what on earth…” Hayama laughs, before noticing the new arrival at the entrance of the gym. “Is that…a dog?”
“Arf.” The dog replies with a bark. It was hard to explain, but the dog appeared to be calmly appraising the scene, sitting back on its haunches.
“Woah, look at its eyes!” Nebuya raced forward, peering down at the dog. “It’s got a red eye and a yellow one!”
The others all observed the dog, finally noticing the mismatched, heterochromatic orbs.
“…It reminds me of Akashi.” Mayuzumi finally murmurs.
“Woah, he really does!!” Hayama agreed. There was something rather majestic in the way that the white german shepard carried itself.
“Comparing me to a dog now, are you?”
“Eek…” The members all froze as they heard their captain approaching them from behind. “But it’s cute, Sei-chan!”
“I recall leaving you all to your training.” Akashi’s eyes flash briefly as he meets Mibuchi’s gaze. “I expected Eikichi, Reo, and Hayama to be up to these ridiculous things…but you as well, Chihiro?”
“…”
“Hm. Get back to training, unless you’d like to stay for an extra set.”
The threat is powerful enough for the members to quickly return to their practice, while Akashi remains, looking over his team.
“You there.” Akashi’s eyes flicker downwards, meeting the heterochromatic eyes of the dog sitting in front of him. “I expect you to behave as well, if you wish to stay.”
“…Arf.”
Shutoku
“Shin-chan, over here!!”
“Woah, good hit Shin-chan!”
Midorima could feel his frustration growing as he shot the basketball in his hand, tsking at it glanced off the side of the rim before making it through the basket. “Must you guys continue calling it by that ridiculous name?”
“He likes it though!” Takao replied, holding up the dark haired puppy in his hands. “His eyes are sooooo cute!!”
It was by chance that the Shutoku members had discovered the dark haired puppy lingering outside the gym. It was even more interesting when they watched the puppy blink, eyes as green as Midorima’s hair. And thus…
“We’ll call you Shin-chan!!!” Takao had declared, and the other Shutoku members only found the situation amusing. Well, everyone but the puppy’s name sake, of course.
“Everyone seems a bit more excited.” Otsubo comments, watching his team clamoring for the puppy’s attention. “It’s a morale booster. So, please put up with it.”
“Huh? Where ya going Shin-chan?” Takao questioned as the puppy wiggled out of his hold, jumping onto the ground.
“Arrrrf.”
“What.” Midorima glared, staring down the puppy that had walked up to him, sitting at his feet.
“Arrf. Arrf.” The puppy seemed to chastise him, causing Midorima to bristle with annoyance. “I refuse to acknowledge you.” Midorima harrumph, pushing up his glasses with his left hand.
“Arrrf!”
“Woah, look at that thing jump!” Miyaji’s voice was incredulous as the puppy managed to jump up, smacking his paw against Midorima’s left hand.
Midorima stared down at the puppy who was meeting his gaze with it’s large, emerald-green eyes.
Turning back to the basket, Midorima threw the ball, this time making a perfect swish as it fell through the net.
“Arf.” The puppy seemed to be proud of itself, and Midorima swore it was smirking
“It wasn’t because of you.”
“Aww, look at the two Shin-chans getting along!!”
Kaijo
“You’re so cute!!” Kise squealed, holding the golden-fur puppy in his arms.
“Arf arf!!” The puppy wagged its tail excitedly, golden orbs sparkling in delight as he licked Kise’s face.
Kise felt his heart swell at the ball of fluff that had appeared in their gym, barking and tail wagging as it enthusiastically ran around the gym with the team as they warmed up for practice.
Letting the puppy down, Kise watched as he started bumping the basketballs with its paws, swatting and pushing the ball along the floor.
“What an adorable puppy. Girls like puppies, don’t they?” Moriyama’s eyes glimmered in interested as he leaned down towards the excitable puppy. “You and I shall go and meet some girls!!”
“Don’t be teaching the puppy weird things, baka!” Kobori snarled, pushing the back of Moriyama’s head.
“Arf arf!”
“But it wants to go, don’t you?” Moriyama cooed as the puppy continued barking, it’s little body trembling in excitement.
“God, this thing’s even more hyper than you, Hayakawa!”
“I won’t lose!!”
“Don’t pick a fight with a puppy, damnit!” Kobori sighed, watching Hayakawa staring down at the puppy with angry eyes.
Completely ignorant of the death glare he was receiving, the puppy only continued bouncing around, tilting its head cutely as it looked up at the members surrounding it.
“So cute so cute so cute!!” Kise continued squealing, before looking for his phone. “I need pictures!!”
“What is the big deal here?!” Kise yelped as Kasamatsu kicked him in the back of his legs. “Get back to practice!”
“Puppy-chan, don’t go to the scary mean person!” Moriyama cried out as the puppy suddenly took off in Kasamatsu’s directly, immediately pawing at the captain’s shorts.
“Why is there a dog here…” Kasamatsu grumbled, picking up the puppy by its scruff as he held it in front of his face. Suddenly, the puppy stuck out its tongue, licking the captain’s nose again and again.
“Oh no!” Kise yelled, scared that Kasamatsu was going to hurt the puppy. Instead…
“Tickles…” Kasamatsu pulled away from the puppy, setting him on the floor gently. “Hm. Guess you’re not too bad.”
“Yip!” Running circles around Kasamatsu’s feet, the puppy barked happily.
“..No fair, why can’t you treat me like that?!?” Kise whined, narrowly dodging another one of Kasamatsu’s famous kicks.
“Because you’re an annoying dumbass!”
Dating GOM's Sister!
Anime: Kuroko no Basuke
Overview: Headcanons about GOM (Aomine, Akashi, Kise, Kuroko, and Midorima) having a younger sister who is dating one of them!
Note: Sorry I didn't include Murasakibara! I just got really lazy. :(
•-—-•
Aomine Daiki
"I'll give you what you ever desire, break up with my sister." Akashi offered, glaring at his former tanned teammate. "Sei-nii! That's it! We're leaving." You forcefully removed Akashi's grip on your shoulder, having a silent eye battle as you slammed the door on his face. Akashi did not support you relationship, not even a bit.
Aomine is known to be a player, a pervert, and a lazy man. How could Akashi let his sister fall inlove with him? Akashi just wants the best for his sister. After a year of having a hot and cold relationship with your brother, Aomine knocked some sense into him. Needless to say, Akashi was impressed and saw no more reason to object seeing how his friend's true intention.
"I'm glad you're not the same as your brother." Aomine confesses. Although you are very identical to your older brother, you were the exact opposite of him in terms of personality. You were outgoing and emotionally-driven. Aomine did not see you for your wealth, achievements, or anything! He saw you for you, that made you fall for him despite being mean to you during the first meeting.
You were waiting for your brother so the both of you could go home together. When the gym doors ooen, you dashed towards the entrance, bumping into what seemed like a wall to you but it was actually Aomine. When you looked up, you felt chills run up to your spine, the way he glared at you, it was horrifying.
"How long are you going to sit down, brat? Move."
After that, you kept following him and pestering him even if he gave you mean comments that made you cry. Whenever you cry, Aomine panics. He'd scratch his head and say sorry multiple times, cursing, he'll offer a hug. "Stop crying or I'll kiss you." This just made you want to cry harder.
You'll help Aomine in his study and reprimands him for skipping practices. You're the only one who is allowed to correct him and he's the only one who can bully you.
If you ever did get bully, you have bodyguards ready to protect you in command, a scary powerful brother, and a tall tanned boyfriend built like he's ready to fight.
Aomine will never try to make you uncomfortable. He respects you even if he makes sexual comments, he would never push you to do something you don't like to do. That's how much he treasures you.
"(y/n), where's my kiss?" He grinned at you, bending down so you were at the same height. Rolling your eyes, he always asks for kisses before the game which you thought was very cute of him to do. Without hesitation, you kissed his lips. "Go get them, Dai-kun."
Akashi Seijuro
Dating Murasakibara's sister is not something anyone would expect from him. You are reckless, bold, and most of all childish! The complete opposite of Akashi! People can't help but question how you managed to soften the merciless captain of Rakuzan.
"Sei-kun!" Everytime you see your significant other, you would pounce on him, hugging his well-built frame. Akashi would glare at those who would stare, telling them to look away just by staring straight to their eyes.
Akashi would always give you sweets but scolds not only you, but your brother too when you both had too much. "(y/n), I love you but no. I already booked you an appointment." Akashi is persistent to have you attend a dentist appointment atleast once a month to ensure you don't develop any cavities.
When it comes to your brother, he does not really care who you date as long as they treat you well and you're happy but he is really relieved you're dating Akashi. That does not mean he won't crush him when he makes you cry.
People ridicule your relationship, especially the higher class who wants Akashi for their own benefits. Sometimes they go to the extent of hiring people to hurt you, ending up with a failure. There are several perks of having a tall brother who is excellent in basketball, one is he can easily scare of whoever is bothering you, second, you know how to defend yourself when needed.
Whenever those stuck-up bitches shows up, you can't help but show your devilish side. "Eh, I don't care. Get out of my way, bitch." Youmd play with your lollipop, staring down at the crying girl, yelling she'd sue you after you humiliated her.
Akashi will feel proud whenever you stood up for yourself, placing a soft kiss on your forehead and you'd immediately linked your arms around his neck. "Sei-kun, I'm starving~"
He'll always eat you with you, this is somehow like your love language towards one another. You sometimes even go to his school just to eat your bento that you prepared for him. His team is jealous on how a sweet and cute girl ended up dating Akashi.
They are always surprised to see Akashi showing subtle affections. Teasing him about you is a death sentence despite the fluttery feeling in his stomach. Flirting with you? That's a different story.
"(y/n), what am I going to do with you?" Akashi sighed, a smile forming on his lips. You were sleeping on the bleachers and it made him want to carry you home and skip practice but he knows you'll get mad at him if he did. He grabbed his jacketand covered your defense-less state, planting a chaste kiss on your lips. Little did he know, you were actually awake. "Ooh, I didn't know Sei-kun's a pervert!" He would ruffle your hair. "You dare to misbehave, huh? I might have to teach you a lesson, love."
Kise Ryouta
Kise is not really fond of Aomine. Sure they are friends friends but he still had grudges against him. So seeing you, beating the shit out of Aomine, that was something extraordinary. The way the sun highlighted your tanned skin and dark blue hair, Kise fell for you at first sight.
"(y/n)-cchi! I bought you some cake!" Kise always bothered you, he was clingy and chatty. You were annoyed at him at first, who wouldn't? Kise followed you everywhere like some kind of lost puppy! He cried easily was too noisy, yet when a week went by and he was no where to be found, you felt sad. You somehow missed his presence, that's when you realised, you too were inlove with him.
"(y/n)-cchi? What are you doing here..?" Kise did not expect to see you. It was raining heavily and you were drenched from head to toe. Kaijou just lost to Seirin, Kise was feeling down for his first loss. All his own issues faded when you grabbed him by his collar, pressing your lips against his.
Kise's eyes widened, you pulled away, placing your hands on both sides of his face. "Who told you to leave me alone? Huh?! Can't you see I like you too?" He blinked, several times, unable to register what just happened.
"Eh...Ehhhh?!"
Kise became 1000x more clingy after that.
His fangirls are difficult to handle. They always picked a fight on you, saying how you do not meet the Kise's standards. You don't give a fuck of whatever they say about you, you actually enjoy how they cowered in fear and bite back their words whenever you'd look at them with a smirk.
One thing that pissed you off though is when they made nasty comments about your boyfriend. You stopped in your tracks, fist clenched, you turned back, launching your fist towards the girl. She screamed and closed her eyes, waiting for the impact, you stopped your fist an inch away from her face. She fell on the floor, her friends made a run for it.
"Aplogise, bitch." She apologised immediately before scampering away, you'd sigh. "Such a pain in the ass.."
Kise knows about your "little fights" since Kasamatsu actually witnessed the whole thing. He feels honored and proud that his girlfriend stood up for him, your cuts and bruises on the other hand angered him. Kise always made sure to keep you out of trouble after that.
Kise is the only one who can calm you down, only one who can make you smile and act stupid. Your his partner in crime, his princess and his knight, he is very grateful to have you.
Despite how strong you can be, Kise can also fight for you if needed. You need him more than he needs you, without him, everything is off balance.
Aomine bullies him more now that he's your boyfriend.
"(y/n)-cchi! Aomine-cchi is being mean to me!"
"DAMN IT DAIKI! LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
When the two of you are together, that's the only time you are vulnerable. In his arm you feel safe, he felt like home.
"I love you, dumbass."
Kuroko Tetsuya
The whole Seirin team was stunned to see you, sitting on one of the bleachers absorbed in your phone. Kagami's eyes widened, he recognises you! "S-She's (y/n)! A model in the US!" He exclaimed, making the rest more confused on why someone like you is in their gym right now. Even Riko could not dare to get closer, everyone stood frozen once you glanced at them, staring at them one by ine before your face lit up.
You stood up, smiling widely, before waving. "Kuro-tan! I missed you!" Kuroko coughed, excusing himself as he pass through the crow, greeting you with open arms which you gladly run into. "(y/n)-chan, you didn't tell me you were arriving today."
You would explain to the whole team that you're Kuroko's girlfriend and confirm that you are a model from the US. One thing that caught the team off guard is when Riko asked you if you were somehow related to Kise Ryouta.
"Kise..? Ryou-nii? Yes he's my brother."
The team bombarded you with questions, you were now getting slightly overwhelmed by them. You held out to your boyfriend looking at him teary eyed, he immediately know what you're feeling. "Everyone, you're scaring (y/n)-chan."
Once everything died down, you watched their practice, cheering for your cute boyfriend with Nigou. After practice, Kuroko and you would eat at Majii Burger, catching up and deep talks.
That's where you confessed that you won't go back to the US anymore and transfer to his school. You resigned from your position in the entertainment industry and will now focus on being a (career choice) instead.
Kuroko is the type of boyfriend who is kind of like a dog, he is super loyal to you and no matter what you do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone around you or you, he supports. He may be seen as emotionless but to you, he show all kinds of emotions, love, happiness, jealousy, and he gets super cute when embarrassed.
You always cling on to him, yelling his name with love everytime you see him, crying easily and him comforting you everytime. The team takes a like to you too, you're not really that difficult to get along with.
Riko would ask for help in their training regimen, Kagami also likes hanging out with the two of you (he'll get angry when you get too pda and overbearing though). Overall, you were like their cute little sister who they protect.
So whenever someone gets close to you, as you are famous with both boys and girls, they'll spring inti action and help you out.
You may not be as strong as others mentally and physically, you won't back down when the people you love are messed upon.
When Hanamiya glared at Kuroko, you glared 1000x harder than him. Especially when they hurt , oh you knew you had to talk to him, you stomped your way to their side of the court. You put your best smile, calling him out. "Hanamiya-san, can I shake your hand. I am a fan."
He would snicker, holding out his hand with a few flirty remarks. When you grabbed his hand though, you crushed it using all your strength and he whimpered in pain. Hanamiya cursed, holding his hand. "Oops, did I squeezed too hard?"
He was ready to fight you but seeing several eyes on him, the whole GOM, and Seirin team watching him, he decided not to push further.
Kuroko would scold you though, flicking your forehead before kissing it.
3 words. Best. Boyfriend. Ever.
One thing you hated was sharing Kuroko with your brother. "Ryou-nii! We're supposed to make out now! Get out!"
Midorima Shintaro
A Tsundere and a Phantom, what a perfect couple. Kidding. Midorima never thought about dating, the idea of love is not something he minded but when you spiked the ball directly into his face and breaking his glasses, he fell for you, literally.
"Oh, Midorima-kun, sorry!"
Just like your brother, Kuroko, you don't have a lot of presence. He actually taught you how to master misdirection which is a useful skill in your sport, Volleyball. It just happened that you're enrolled in Shutoku and was practicing your one-man spike while he walked into the court.
After that, you kept talking to him. You did not have a lot of friends except for your teammates and you saw Midorima as like your second brother.
Midorima would never admit that he likes you until Takao began to get close to you.
"(y/n)-san, Ilikeyounandayo."
You'd tease him with Takao, copying the way he acts. You'll learn more about horoscopes and oh asa and would always surprise him infront of his house with his lucky item for the day.
Although Midorima is not affectionate, he'll try his best to make you feel that he loves you in his own little way. He would even learn to play volleyball just to play with you. He's a great setter!
Your go to dates would be study hubs, museums, and stargazing.
Since you're very small compated to him, Midorima likes to hold your hand just so you won't get lost. "Shintaro, we're the only ones here." He'd flinched and stammer upon realising you are the only one walking around the park.
Kuroko knows your dating ever since the first day. Kuroko is always there to listen to your rants about your day so it is not a surprise when he sees Midorima eating with your family, stiff like a rock.
"Midorima-kun? Are you okay?" He asked and all of the eyes are now own Midorima who just wanted to crawl to a hole and never come back.
You would go to all his games, offering him a towel. He'll get startled whenever you show up out of the blue though. Takao always teases the two of you which ends up into Midorima beating him up.
Dating Midorima as Kuroko's sister is plain chill, no drama or anything. Both are honest and mindful.
Getting used to hanging out with 2 phantoms would be something he needs to get used to.
"(y/n)?! WHERE'D YOU GO?"
"Shintaro, I'm right infront of you."
BACKGROUND
WRITING: My first "official" experience in writing was in 2013-ish as a 1D writer on Wattpad. I discovered 'fanfic tumblr' in 2016 and got my first position as a writing admin under a decently popular NCT blog. I was there for about two years before going solo and exploring fandoms other than Kpop. Obey Me! entered the chat in early 2020, thus the creation of this blog under my original url, demonbelphie. After only a few short months however, I was introduced to Daiya no Ace, which soon took over my life and this blog… :-) so here we are lmao.
ART: I’ve loved drawing for as long as I can remember, but it was never a hobby I stuck to consistently because it was time-consuming. Through elementary school, I always enjoyed drawing cartoon OCs or anime characters (like Sailor Moon), and in middle school I took up tagging and calligraphy. I basically went on hiatus in high school, as I was exploring my potential in writing, but after getting an iPad and Apple Pencil during my undergrad, I quickly fell in love with digital art. I've never taken any art classes, but I'm learning as I go!
LIKES:
Word Count: 2,864
Pairing: Reader x Kise
World: Kuroko no Basket
Prompt: “Come on, it’ll be fun!”
Sport: Basketball
━━━━━━༻🎾_🏀_🏐༺━━━━━━
Despite only being a first-year in high school, Kise was super popular as both a superstar athlete and a gorgeous model, racking up thousands of fans and followers. This fame led him to make friends in high places, befriending various celebrities and idols from all different countries, which he would often meet with during modeling trips or award ceremonies. He was only sixteen, but he was already a megastar.
And despite being his partner since his second year of middle school, you rarely joined him on these trips because fame and glamour just wasn’t the kind of life you wanted for yourself. You weren’t starstruck and meeting other celebrities just didn’t excite you because you knew, at their very core, they were still just human beings.
Kise understood this and didn’t often pressure you to join him, especially on those out of country trips, which you were thankful for. On the other side of the fence, you didn’t pressure him to indulge in your favorite things, either and, most importantly, you didn’t give him hell over the various beautiful models that he had befriended. You trusted him, just as he trusted you.
This time was a bit different, however.
Kise had just recently won an award for the best supporting actor, but he wasn’t able to attend the ceremony because he had an important basketball game that day and, while he loves being a model and actor, basketball was far more important. Because of this, one of his friends had accepted the award in his stead and they were meeting up this weekend, a small get together to celebrate.
The problem was that he really wanted you to join him, but you were hesitating because of the upcoming finals that you needed to study for.
“Please~?” Kise pouted as he plopped down into the desk in front of you, his arms folded across the back of the chair. None of the other third-years paid him any mind because they were used to his antics.
You frowned at his pleading look, trying to ignore those beautiful golden eyes of his. “I really need to study, Ryou.”
“But you’ve been doing nothing but studying! You should -”
Smack.
Kasamatsu had come up behind him, smacking the boy with his notebook that he had rolled up just for the occasion. “We’re third-years, studying is important for us. Maybe you should try it sometime.”
You chuckled, resting your hand on top of Kise’s head when he whined, your fingers tangling in his blonde locks. “He’s right, you know. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you can slack on your studies. What are you going to do when we graduate?”
Kasamatsu huffed as he settled down in the desk beside your own. “Knowing him, he’ll probably still try to get us to help.”
“Probably.”
“I will not!” Kise’s pout deepened as he leaned into your touch, reminding you of a kitten looking for affection. “Come on, Y/Nchhi, it’ll be fun, I promise!”
“Our definitions of fun are quite different.”
“A deal, then!”
“Eh?” You blinked in surprise at the sudden serious expression he was now sporting as he stood up, his palms flat on your desk.
“Let’s make a deal! If you go with me to the party, I’ll start taking my studies more seriously. We can even go on study dates.” He grinned, blonde hair swaying as he leaned a bit closer. “What do you say?”
“I say it’s a trap,” Kasamatsu shot you a look, crossing his arms over his chest.
“That’s why I didn’t ask you, senpai!” Kise stuck his tongue out at the older male, causing him to roll his eyes.
“Thank god for that.”
Kise’s golden eyes met yours and he gave you that beautiful smile that you couldn’t resist, his hand finding yours. “Pretty please, Y/Ncchi? I really want you there with me. It’s just a small gathering!”
Judging from your past experiences, you knew that when he said small, it would probably be around twenty people, give or take. Still, it had been a while since you had joined him for any of his parties or trips, and you had been so stressed out as of late. You may come to regret it, but you finally caved. “Alright, I’ll go.”
“Yes!” He threw his arms around your neck, plopping down onto your lap so he could hold you closely, his face nuzzling the side of your face. “Thank you so much. I love you~”
You chuckled, wrapping your arms around his waist. “I love you, too, ya dork.”
━━━━━━༻🎾_🏀_🏐༺━━━━━━
You pulled up to the large house that Kise had directed you toward, putting the car into park before turning off the engine. The blonde didn’t hesitate to leave the car, glancing back at you when you hesitated, giving you a reassuring smile. You pulled yourself from the car, eyes focused on the tall model that had just stepped out of the house, his bright red hair messy as if he had been running his hands through it. He was taller than Kise, his teal eyes shining under the porch light.
“There you are!” He pulled the younger male into a hug before his eyes landed on you, giving you a polite smile as he held his hand out. “Hello, I’m Kevin.”
You took his hand, amazed at how much bigger his hands were. “Ah, nice to meet you! I’m Y/N.” You had to catch yourself before introducing yourself as Kise’s partner because you weren’t sure if he wanted anyone to know about your relationship. A scandal could kill his career, after all, and you definitely didn’t want that.
But Kise had other ideas as he threw his arms around your neck, his cheek against yours as he smiled brightly. “They are my partner! Aren’t they gorgeous?”
Kevin laughed loudly. “They sure are, you got lucky, Kise! Now, let’s get inside before the neighbors complain again.”
‘Again?’, you wondered, glancing at the other houses. Even though it was only eight PM, most of the houses on the block were completely dark, the neighborhood quiet. It made you think of those internet guys that are famous only for partying and how much their neighbors hated them. Was this Kevin guy the same way? Oh lord, what if he was an e-boy? The thought made you cringe as you followed the blonde into the house.
Soft music was pumping throughout the house and you recognized the band as One Ok Rock, a group you had enjoyed on more than a couple of occasions. There were people in every room, but there didn’t seem to be more than ten, at least, and no one seemed to be acting too wild, though there were two identical-looking boys in the living room arguing over the chip bowl.
Kise snickered at the sight, bringing his hand to his mouth. “Those two never change.”
“Unfortunately,” Kevin sighed, waving his hand to keep following him into the kitchen where three others were standing around the island in the center of the room, chatting over red solo cups. “Guys, the guest of honor is finally here~”
“Kise!” A woman with orange-red hair jumped off her stool, throwing her arms around the blonde’s neck as she squealed happily, her curls bouncing wildly. “Congrats on winning the award!”
He returned the hug with a grin, lifting the female off her feet before setting her back down. “Thanks, Mya! I was happy to hear I had won.”
“It’s a shame you weren’t there,” she pulled away, pouting at him as her manicured hand rested upon her hip. “Everyone was so disappointed that you chose basketball over the award ceremony, especially when you had been nominated so many times!”
He sweatdropped, rubbing the back of his head. “Sorry to disappoint you, Mya. The game was super important, though!”
“Did you at least win?”
“Ah, well…”
“So you lost,” she deadpanned. “You chose the game over us and still lost.”
“Knock it off,” the navy-haired man rolled his eyes before gulping down the rest of his drink, shaking it toward the brunette girl beside him, who refilled it with a bottle of what you assumed to be alcohol. “He didn’t choose the game over us, he chose the game over the ceremony.”
“I can’t blame him,” the brunette chimed in with a sigh. “It was so boring. It’s the same thing every single time.”
“You guys are so ungrateful!” Mya whined, stomping her foot. “You’re lucky to even get nominated. I haven’t been nominated for anything in three years. It sucks.”
“Yet you still go, even knowing you’re not gonna win anything,” said the man, his matching navy eyes looking at her blankly. “Why even bother?”
The brunette snickered, covering it with her hand as she sent the other girl a knowing look. “Because she likes to accept it for people when they can’t make it.”
Mya’s cheeks darkened at the accusation. “T-That’s not it at all, Aiko!”
“Sure, sure.”
Kevin glanced at you before clearing his throat. “Kise, why don’t you introduce your partner, man.”
At the word partner, everyone’s eyes shot toward you, staring holes into your body and you gulped. You had never really felt insecure with yourself, happy with your appearance and personality, but being surrounded by so many beautiful people could make even the most overconfident of people feel at least a little insecure with themselves. You forced a smile, offering them a small wave. “H-Hello.” ‘Ugh, real cool, Y/N.’
Kise appeared at your side, smiling brightly as his hand slid into your own. “Guys, this is Y/N, the most beautiful, gorgeous, smart, kind person in the whole wide world!”
Aiko snorted. “Only you can sound like a ten-year-old when introducing your partner.”
“Rude!” He huffed at her, sticking his tongue out at her.
She ignored him, approaching you with a kind smile. “Hey, I’m Aiko Nomura. Nice to finally meet the person that was able to whip Kise so badly.”
“I am not whipped!”
“Su~re you’re not.”
The navy-haired boy looked over at you, taking a sip of his drink before introducing himself. “Haru Harukaze.”
You smiled at him, but it quickly died when the red-headed girl appeared in front of you, curls bouncing as she leaned toward you, eyes narrowed. You weren’t the tallest person in the world, but you still had at least a foot on her, yet she still managed to intimidate you as she stared into your eyes.
“Mya Ochaco,” she finally stated with a huff. “Let’s see how long you last.”
“Mya!” Kevin snapped, sending her a warning glare.
She looked as if she wanted to say something else, but she refrained, turning on her heel and heading for the doorway, only to pause and look back at Kise. “I’ll go get your trophy. I put it upstairs so the twin idiots wouldn’t break it.”
Kise nodded before turning his attention to you, a frown on his lips despite the smile you sent him. He could tell it was a bit forced and he worried that you were regretting your decision to come. Just as his lips parted to ask if you were okay, two arms slung around your neck, pulling you away from him.
“Oh, who is this, Kumo?”
“I don’t know, Kamu. I’ve never seen them before.”
“They’re pretty cute, don’t you think?”
“Very cute. Ne, are you single?”
“Have you ever dated twins before?” The last line was chorused between the two as they smirked at you, their salmon pink eyes shimmering with amusement at your surprised expression.
“They are not single!” Kise cried, swiping at them as if he were batting away mosquitoes. They didn’t release you until he actually smacked them on the forehead, his eyes burning with jealousy as he pulled you to his chest. “Y/Ncchi is mine, keep your hands off, you dogs!”
“Tsk, tsk, Kiro-kun. People aren’t property.” The boy on the right wagged his finger, throwing his arm around his brother’s shoulders.
“You should be ashamed of yourself, Kiro-chan.” The boy on the left clicked his tongue, his arm resting behind his brother’s lower back.
“Don’t call me that!” Kise huffed, using his body to shield you from the two. “You’re both demons!”
“That’s hurtful, Kiro-kun.”
“Words can be painful, Kiro-chan.”
“Do you speak to your partner like that?”
“I bet he does. They deserve better.”
“They definitely do. We should -”
Kevin came up behind them, smacking the pink-haired twins on the back of the head. “Will you two knock it off! This is why Kise never brings them around us.”
“You’re blaming us?” They chorused. “How rude!”
Though Kise’s eyes never strayed from the twins, his fingers started to trace up and down your arm, an attempt to comfort you if you needed it. “You’re the last people I wanted Y/Ncchi to meet!” He stuck his tongue out at them, which they returned with the added effect of pulling down the skin beneath their eye.
Mya re-entered the kitchen, taking a moment to examine the scene before stepping up to Kise with the trophy in her hand. “Here ya go, Kise!”
“Thank you!” His mood lifted as he took the trophy from her, keeping one arm around you as if scared that you would be swept away from him if he released you.
The bell rang, echoing throughout the house.
“The pizza’s here!” The twins chorused, rushing toward the front door. You could hear the struggling with one another as they ran down the hall, barking at one another. A crash followed soon after and Kevin groaned, chasing after them.
“Oi, you idiots! You’re paying for whatever you break!”
After getting the pizza, everyone gathered around the kitchen table, laughing and chatting with one another as they talked about their current and upcoming jobs. You remained silent, not having anything to add to the conversation, but you enjoyed the way they interacted with one another, picking on Kise or scolding the twins for bringing up something embarrassing. The aura within the room was warm and comfortable.
When everyone had finished eating, the group moved to the living room, crowding around the television and arguing over what movie they wanted to watch. While they were distracted, Kise slid onto the couch beside you, his hand sliding into yours before bringing it to his lips.
“Are you okay?” He questioned softly. “I know they can be… kind of overwhelming when you first meet them.”
“Definitely,” you agreed with a soft chuckle, squeezing his hand. “But they all seem pretty cool.”
“Do you regret coming with me?”
“I don’t.”
His golden eyes brightened up, his lips finding your cheek. “I’m so glad!”
“Hey, watch it!”
“No, you! I was here first!”
“I was born first!”
“By less than a minute!”
“Your point? Let it go!”
“No, you let go!”
“Guys, knock it off!” Kevin barked, trying to snatch the DVD that the twins were fighting over, but it slipped away from the three of them, flying across the room and hitting a giant, light pink vase sitting against the wall. The room went silent as it teetered back and forth before finally tipping over, shattering into a million pieces. “My grandma’s vase! That thing cost me a million yen!”
“A million?” Aiko wrinkled her nose. “For that ugly thing?”
Haru didn’t glance up from the TV as he flipped through the channels. “My mom recently bought one for two mil.”
“You guys are nuts. I could never spend that much on a vase,” she shook her head.
“No, you just spend a mil and a half on a guitar,” Mya snickered from behind her hand, making the taller girl blush.
“Yeah and what of it? At least I’m not spending five thousand on one shirt. Talk about a waste of money.”
“Excuse me?” Mya scowled, standing up from the other end of the couch. “It’s vintage, easily worth more but I waited until it was on sale because I’m frugal.”
Haru scoffed. “You don’t even know what that word means.”
“I do, too!”
“What is it, then?”
“…”
Haru sent Aiko a smirk. “See, I told you.”
“S-Shut up, Haru!”
You sweatdropped as the group continued to argue, unable to process the insane amounts of money that they spent as if it were nothing. “Babe, I think your friends are crazy…”
Kise laughed, nuzzling his face into your neck. “They are, but I love them. If only Kasamatsu-senpai would come, too, then I’d have all my family in one place!”
You hummed thoughtfully, running your fingers through his blonde hair. “If he met Mya and Aiko, I’m not so sure he would be conscious for long. You know how he is.”
“True,” he pouted, leaning into your touch. “Maybe he’ll grow out of it in college?”
“Doubtful.”
Kise giggled at your lack of belief in the black-haired captain, unable to hide how happy he felt. He had wanted you to meet his friends for so long, the family he had made within the acting and modeling community and, with the exception of Mya, you seemed to get along well with them. It was all he could wish for.
1. as far as im concerned Kagami never left at the end of last game, that was an extended dream sequence... 2. i also totally agree with you that Kagami is prolly vers, if anything, and it was also MY PET PEEVE when people pinholed him into being a forever bottom at the peak of knb hype. 3. you keep teasing your long list of ships for Aomine PLEASE do him for the character thing lol. So far all your opinions are sending me into a realm of GOOD VALID VIBES
Omg thank you!! (I agree end of Last Game is not canon… or if it is he came right back the next year or smth I refuse to accept he just left forever. And I’m really glad to see the problem of Uke™ Kagami seems to be in decline these days… fewer people are writing for knb in general, but those that are seem to have an idea what a real gay relationship is or at least make him a fucking person and not a walking stereotype, and that’s encouraging to see).
Also thanks so much for sending Aomine! …Strap in for this character essay tho I’ve been known to never shut up about this boy once you get me started.
How I feel about this character
I honestly… can’t even explain it anymore or even try to justify it but Aomine has had a bigger impact on me than, I think, any other character I’ve seen to date. I don’t even know what it is, I do relate to him (and project on him *cough*) but like, there are other characters out there that I have more in common with, and I like his whole arc and aesthetic but it’s nothing revolutionary, so… your guess is as good as mine.
Whatever it is, I’ve been obsessed with this guy for over half a decade, and lately even as the KNB fandom falls into decline, my feelings are not they’re just getting stronger. His development over the course of the series is one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever seen, (that one bit at the end of the Touou/Seirin game with “I want to practice” and his later conversation with Kuroko hit me in the fucking chest every time), and I love how even though he’s portrayed as cold, uncaring and rude, it’s still understood (at least by anyone with some nuance) that that’s not what he’s supposed to be like, and underneath the distant, kind of dickish front, he’s hurting a lot. I’ve talked about the degree to which he cares about people before too, but I still have to give a mention to the ferocious level of protectiveness this guy has for his friends. I could go on about him for ages, tbh, and maybe someday I will write a for-real structured essay to try to get it out there, but the bottom line is I love this character, I have for a long time, and likely will continue to do so long into the future.
All the people I ship romantically with this character
Okay here we go… I ship this guy extremely liberally, even with people he’s never interacted with (hell you could mention any random character and I could probably see my way clear to shipping them with him somehow, I’ll still try to explain my logic if I can). Prepare yourself.
Kagami (of course, AoKaga is the OTP and definitely the one I’ve devoted the most time to, they’re just the best together I’ll never get tired of seeing them figure their shit out over and over)
Kuroko (I may be AoKaga on main, but I’m still such a sucker for the tragic romance between these two, and sometimes it just hits me over the head like a sledgehammer how much I love their relationship. I’ve also got a lot of feelings for AoKagaKuro, they’re such a perfect trio and I need to invest more of my time in the OT3)
Kise (I was a bit late to the game on AoKise, but I definitely see it now. I love their dynamic and how imperfect their relationship would probably be, the complexity of it. sign me up)
Momoi (I don’t see a lot of AoMomo love anymore, but I’ve still got a soft spot for it, childhood friends are my weakness okay)
Midorima (they’re so different but that’s what makes it interesting, and I love the idea of neither of them knowing how to show/tell the other their feelings and being awkward stubborn shits together)
Murasakibara (they almost never interact but I just think they’d have such a soft cuddly relationship and be really chill together… lazy Sunday mornings sleeping in and hanging all over each other that kinda thing)
Akashi (kinda same as Akashi/Kagami, I think the difference between polished upper-class Akashi and scrappy city boy Aomine would be hella interesting… though I’ve also got some angst ideas for them as a couple, after how things went down at Teiko… abandonment and whatnot)
Imayoshi (I got pulled into this ship HARD by Lysapadin’s A Firm Hand series and now it’s no longer a guilty pleasure ship and is actually something I’ll talk about in the open, just… the power dynamic fuck me up)
Sakurai (I fuckin love the idea of an anxious Sakurai crushing hard on Aomine and not knowing how to tell him but when he finally plucks up the courage and prepares himself for imminent death Aomine’s actually pretty chill about it… plus they’d be adorable together tbh)
Wakamastu (you know it’s gotta be enemies to lovers. not just bc I’m intrigued by the love/hate relationship itself but if you look past the attitude issues these two would actually probably have a lot in common. also I’m really interested in how their dynamic might change with Wakamatsu being captain and all)
Susa (idk but there’s one throwaway line in season 3 where Imayoshi says about Aomine “actually maybe he likes you” and that’s enough for me. bring me the rarest rarepair my body is ready)
Kasamatsu (it wasn’t supposed to be SERIOUS but they got me. That moment in the Touou/Kaijo game where Aomine helps him up and “you’ve really done it now, senpai” is legit, plus these two would be such a good-looking couple, honestly.)
Mibuchi (give me the pretty boys. I have no excuse for this except maybe their interactions in my own damn fic again)
Nebuya (sometimes shipping can be as simple as hey I want them to bang right. also they’re both humongous dorks under their respective rough exteriors and I love them)
Moriyama (they bond over liking girls at first and then they’re simultaneously like wait a minute… more Touou/Kaijo ships pls)
Nijimura (I have this idea of them reuniting late into/after high school and Aomine still calls him captain out of habit and Nijimura’s like relieved and impressed to see how he’s developed since the mess at Teiko)
Himuro (they Never interact but they’d be so Petty and Snarky sign me up)
Haizaki (twisted, but I’m interested it’d be so unhealthy and awful bring it)
Hanamiya (even more twisted tbh but there is that moment where Aomine confronts him… and I’m here for hate sex just as much as your typical romance)
Inoue (who, you ask? I know he’s such a side character and no one remembers him, but he’s a big reason for Aomine’s downfall at Teiko and they seemed to be buddies before that, I’d be interested in some kind of reconciliation between them, or a romance, ya know whatever works)
And then we get into crossover territory… MOST of these are not my fault they’re just things I’ve seen and adopted for myself
Kuroo Tetsurou (someone made a moodboard for them, and now I can’t stop thinking about them in a relationship, like damn… it’d be such a beautiful mess I wanna see more of it)
Oikawa Tooru (I’ve seen art, and also the light. These two damaged angsty prodigies, one sharp as a whip the other dumb as bricks, but both of them sassy and nerdy as hell. I could see myself getting addicted to this ship if I took the time to write it out, and I just might)
Yamazaki Sousuke (can’t lie, they look good together. I’ve seen more than one art piece of them interacting and I have a Mighty Need.)
Matsuoka Rin (angry lonely talented boys finding solace in each other’s company? you know that’s my shit. also shark teeth and cop AUs hells yeah.)
Tanaka Ryuunosuke (I don’t know where the fuck this idea came from but I thought of Tanaka trying to pick a fight with “shitty boi” Aomine while in Tokyo and then losing his shit and here we are)
Terushima Yuuji (this one is purely physical… they pretty, I have no other reason, but also this absolute fuckboy, these two would be such a train wreck and I’m here for it tbh)
Yachi Hitoka (okay picture this Giant Terrifying basketball player trying to be less giant and terrifying to tiny shy Yachi and tell me you don’t just want to see that happen. I get Legosi/Haru vibes.)
I’ll spare you the rest of the ideas I’ve tossed around, because past this point it becomes pure crack (if it hasn’t already) but you get the idea. Throw a character my way and I can probably talk myself into it that’s the power this guy has over me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My non-romantic OTP for this character
K considering the List… it shouldn’t be surprising that I also consider this person a romantic candidate, but you know when it comes to non-romantic OTP it’s gotta be Momoi. Platonic or romantic, the way she’s stuck with him all those years and his obvious protectiveness and love for her and how (even though he claims to like big tits) he never even once starts to objectify her in any way, it’s so important to me. Momoi is Aomine’s redeeming factor when he’s at his worst, and she goes to bat for him even while he’s actively trying to shake her off and still tries to protect and help him when he refuses to accept it, even when it means they fight. (Also Kuroko saying “Aomine’s probably looking for you” after their argument puts to mind Aomine running through the rain calling Momoi’s name and that is just… pure). These two have the kind of unshakable long-standing friendship that’ll probably last them the rest of their lives, and no matter what context or form it takes, I can’t get enough of it.
My unpopular opinion about this character
I’ve harped on enough about the fandom’s portrayal of Aomine as a one-note asshole who doesn’t care before, so let’s see if I can change gears a little bit here.
I honestly don’t agree with… the persistent idea people seem to have of Aomine being a narcissist or obsessed with himself? Like yeah, he’s self-absorbed and egotistical, no question, this is not to say he hasn’t got those flaws and others besides… but that’s not the same as being like, physically attracted to yourself. Part of me suspects it was a “the only one who can fuck me is me” joke taken too far, so that now the idea of Aomine being in love with himself is just ingrained into the fanon culture, but if you look at the show itself, personally I don’t see it. If anything, I would think he’d have some self-loathing issues to work through (and that’s part of the reason he gave for skipping practice, he doesn’t want to be the way he is, and specifically says he doesn’t want to increase the difference between him and everyone else). But hey, that’s just my opinion. I’ll get off my soapbox now.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I mean he says he and Kagami are postponing their match, after their brief one-on-one when he gives him the shoes, and then we never get to see it… Tbh just more street ball with this guy would be great, since it’s what his whole style is based around. Even if he’s just playing by himself… or hell, maybe since he thinks no one at the high school level can beat him, we could get a scene of him trying to go up against adults. Maybe he still beats them and his despair worsens after that, but then it’d have more meaning, and at least we’ll have seen that he’s tried and is not just giving up before he’s seen all of what he could be up against in the future. Plus, picturing Aomine going five-on-one like Haizaki did against grown-ups and still slaughtering them is something I’d pay money to see.
Remember me. - Aokise fic
So, this is an old WIP that I’ve tried to edit and work around to create something new, it’s a bit different to my usual writing but I hope you enjoy it none the less <3
Words : 3,281
------------------------------
“Kurokocchi are you sure you have the time to be here? I thought you had practice?” Kise asked as he placed a box on the plastic table his agency had leant him, picking at the tape as he directed his sister on where to put his jackets.
“We’ll be fine. It’ll be a relief to see your wardrobe thin out anyway.” The smaller spoke from behind a clothes rack, surprising Kise’s sister as he took the clothing from her with a polite bow. Kise always appreciated Kuroko, from the moment they first met he had been nothing but blunt and honest, especially after his accident. Kuroko’s brash nature had been a large part of the reason Kise had managed to re ground himself within his day to day life.
Kise had decided to sell some of the clothes the staff had given him from his shoots. Some because they didn’t fit him anymore, some because he’d worn them with everything possible, some because he, quite frankly, never liked them and well, some because he had no idea they were even in there until his sisters had dragged them out of his closet, telling him that he should really clear out his stuff, that she didn’t have enough room for it all here. She had taken him into her house without a second thought when he’d finally flown back from America.
Kise’s excuse to himself, of course, was that if he got rid of the old, he could replace them with the new. A lot of the new. The thought excited him as he found himself emptying a box of accessories. He didn’t want to think about the fact he’d nearly died at the hands of an obsessed fan. He didn’t want to acknowledge that his assault had made everyone in his life watch him with pity, with concern, like he was going to break at any moment. Sure, he forgot some stuff easily and he had large gaps in his memory but he was lucky, there was no real damage to his body, only a few scars littered down his neck.
An hour later found Kise stood irritated behind a table laid out with shoes, necklaces, earrings and belts, all carefully coloured or intricately patterned and a handful of his friends and his sisters stood with him, all already bagging items and exchanging money.
Momoi had warned him of the number of fans that would gather, since nobody had heard from him in a few months, but he hadn’t taken notice, thinking he’d be fine until he found himself in the midst of three girls fighting for a ring he wore two years ago. He excused himself in a bubbly manner, immediately souring when he was alone, sifting angrily through some shirts. He hated his fans most of the time. They were loud, obnoxious and rude, with no care in the world for him as a person or his friends. All they wanted was to tell him how worried they were, assuming they’d now get a shot with him. People were fickle.
“Hey. You got anything different for basketball?” A voice asked, causing the blonde to jump. He came face to face with a tan hand outstretched, slightly shaking the white basketball shorts in his grip. Kise looked to the man's face, noting his unusual blue hair with a sense of familiarity, before looking up.
“I have a lot actually. Gimme a second.” The stranger nodded as Kise turned to lift a box, placing it on the table next to him before moving aside some books. “It’s all under here, mostly white or blue but I think there should be some black ones in there too.” He explained, stepping back as the stranger immediately rummaged through the box, almost desperate to avoid eye contact. Kise watched for a moment, mouth opening to speak before his sister called him over to check something.
“Ah sorry, I can’t drop the price for that one, that was actually really expensive.” Kise apologised, bowing slightly to what he could only assume was one of his fans aunts. She sighed but nodded anyway, handing over the money with a small smile. Kise sighed, letting his shoulders drop forwards when he noticed there were less people about. Kuroko was stood a little further away, listening to one of Kise’s neighbours tell him about his granddaughters wedding with rapt attention.
“So, how much for these?” The voice threw Kise off as he whirled around, ignoring the playful jab to his side from his sister as she walked away. It was the guy from before, holding up a grey pair of shorts and a few shirts. Kise hummed, tilting his head to the side in thought.
“Well, to be honest I wasn’t expecting to sell the shorts so I guess you can just take them. The shirts will be like, five each though.” He nodded, happy with his answer as the other hummed, digging about in his pockets for some change.
“Sounds good to me, thanks.” Just as he was about to turn around, a blur of pink rushed past Kise’s vision.
“Dai-chan! I haven’t seen you for months!” Momoi exclaimed, arms around the taller boy in front of her and Kise blinked, looking between the two as ‘Dai-chan’ frowned down at her, hand moving to ruffle her hair.
“That’s what happens when people move to different countries, Satsuki.” He mentioned bluntly and Kise couldn’t help but laugh, ignoring Momoi’s pout as she finally pulled away from the blue haired boy.
“Ki-chan, this is Aomine Daiki, we used to go to school together, but he abandoned me to do a year in America.” Momoi explained, gesturing between the two of them. Kise just nodded, ignoring the way his mind repeated the name like a lost fact, holding out a hand.
“Nice to meet you urh, formally, I guess. Kise Ryouta.” He remarked, pouting at the scoff Aomine replied with before shaking his hand.
“Yeah no shit, you’re in a lot of magazines ya’know.” Aomine joked, though his voice was laced with something Kise couldn’t quite place, dropping the money into the pot on the table. Before Kise could say anything, another wave of people arrived.
By the time he’d dealt with them all and started to pack up the boxes, Aomine had left. Kise tried to not let it bother him, smiling brightly and chatting away to everyone as they all helped tidy up and get everything in his house.
After thanking everyone and promising he’d take them all out for food another time he headed back inside, ignoring the piles and boxes of stuff he hadn’t managed to sell and went up to his room. Dropping onto his bed with a huff, he glanced at his wardrobe, smile crossing his features. He’d managed to get rid of quite a lot today, which meant that tomorrow he could finally get that jacket he’d been wanting for ages, a reward, he tells himself.
Though when he looked to the basketball resting on a shelf, he was hit with the reminder of Aomine. He had seemed nice enough, but something was just, strange. No matter how much he thought on it though, he couldn’t place why he was so familiar. It was like the explanation was there, balancing precariously off a cliff, just out of his reach.
Shaking his head, he pushed it to the back of his mind, reaching the conclusion that he’d probably heard about him in passing or seen him briefly with Momoi. Yeah, that had to be it.
But Momoi said he was in America...
“Get yourself together Ryouta.” Kise mumbled to himself, hopping off of his bed and into the shower. The steam of the water helped clear his head, letting him finally relax for the day as he sat at his desk, robe wrapped tight around him and began his evening skin care, applying each cream with ease and delicacy, smiling at himself when he was finished.
That night he dreamt of his assault, of a face hidden by shadow as they screamed his name, trying to find him in an unknown apartment, of somebody’s hands holding his mouth shut, the feeling of the ground beneath him tearing into his back as he was dragged to a van.
The feeling of rope digging deep into his skin, his heart beating against his chest. Of not knowing how long he’d been there, stuck in the windowless room, maybe underground. The voice of his ‘fan’ and the stories of their fantasies and expectations of him, punishing him if he retorted or fought back.
He remembered the relief when he heard a door fall, saw the first rays of sunlight he’d seen in what felt like weeks, felt warm familiar hands on his shoulders and tears soaking the skin of his shoulder.
He awoke with a gasp for air, hand clutching his chest to try and still his heart as he sat up, eyes analysing his whole room. It always irked him, as he tried to grip onto the fading memories of whoever he was with, that he couldn’t remember their face. Or who they were to him.
Was it another model? A friend perhaps? Even a photographer. It hurt his head, to try and place a face to the figure that had clung to him for dear life when they finally found him. To remember the tone and pitch of the voice that had called out his name.
“Ryouta, someone’s here!” His sister called and Kise whined, flailing about in his bed before sighing and standing up, pulling on a jumper and pair of jeans before leaving his room. It was probably Kasamatsu ready to smack him upside the head for not being ready to meet him.
He wasn’t expecting Aomine to be at the door, hands shoved deep in his pockets.
“Hey, did you forget something yesterday?” Kise asked as he leant against the door frame, eyebrows raised in curiosity. Aomine avoided his eyes, instead staring at the hinge of the door.
“Not really. Can we talk?” His voice was quiet and almost aggressive and Kise nodded slowly, slipping on a pair of shoes before stepping outside, gently closing the door behind him. Aomine immediately began walking, causing Kise to stumble a little to catch up.
A heavy silence fell over them as they fell into step beside the other, Kise awkwardly holding his hands out in front of him as Aomine watched the floor. Kise had always been good at talking, at filling the space between him and his company but something felt off this time. Like he wasn’t meant to say a word. Aomine seemed to be collecting his thoughts and Kise decided maybe he should let him.
Though it was odd. They’d only just met, barely exchanged a few words and yet Aomine seemed like he’d known him for a while, like Kise had maybe hurt him or the other way around.
Before Kise could think anymore, Aomine came to a halt in front of a street ball court. Kise watched silently as Aomine seemed to process his words before sighing.
“Look I’m, sure this is weird as fuck for you. But that wasn’t the first time we’ve met.” Aomine admitted slowly, finally looking Kise in the eye to judge his reaction. Kise blinked, staring at the other before he nodded, pout settling on his features, highlighting his confusion.
Aomine sighed, running a hand through his hair before pulling out his phone, scrolling for a moment and then pausing.
“We met in America, two years ago. You were taking a break from a shoot when I completely tripped over you trying to walk and spin a ball on my finger at the same time. You screamed at me for ages, complaining I’d messed up your shirt. Annoyed the shit out of me but I assumed that the only way to get rid of you was to agree to buy you lunch but I ended up enjoying your company. We met up a few more times aft-”
“It was you.” Kise’s voice was quiet, low enough to be carried away in the gentle breeze between them. Aomine paused before nodding, handing the other his phone.
Kise took a few deep breaths before looking at the phone, holding it in two hands to try and stop himself from shaking before he was looking at his own face.
The picture was simple, Kise in the front smiling wide while Aomine was stood behind him, slight frown to his eyebrows but a gentle curve on his mouth, an expression of feigned annoyance.
And then the memories hit.
Sitting in cafes with Aomine. Swatting the others hands away when he’d mess up his hair. Playing one on one together and always losing. Kicking the other awake. Complaining that Aomine wasn’t listening.
Holding each other in the early hours of the morning, trusting the other with their faults and insecurities. Arguing. Making up. Silly date and crying together.
“You... We were together, weren’t we?” Kise asked quietly, voice wobbling as he handed Aomine back his phone. All the taller could do was nod, watching Kise’s face carefully before he sighed.
“When we found you, god I was so relieved. You’d been missing for a few days, I was losing my mind. But when they told me you were being flown straight home once you’d recovered, I panicked. I tried to message or call you but I guess they changed your phone.
After a while I decided to come back, you had to be wondering what was happening right? I remembered you telling me about where your sister lives, that it was the same neighbourhood I grew up in. So, I tried it and when I saw you again god my heart almost burst.
I thought I’d surprise you but, all you did was look at me with confusion, you had no idea who I was and that hurt. A lot.” Aomine admitted, watching a mother struggle to get their child to hold their hand, avoiding Kise’s glance.
Kise felt his heart shatter, more memories flooding into his head, fast enough that they were bringing with them a painful and throbbing ache deep into his brain.
But he let them flow, remembered Aomine’s smile, his laugh, the way he’d snore when he was deep in sleep, the focus on his face when he was watching a quiz show.
The way his hands had gripped Kise’s shoulders when they found him, the feeling of his larger and stronger frame shaking against him from tears.
Kise bit his bottom lip hard enough to draw blood, trying with all of his might to stop himself from crying but it was inevitable.
Before either of them knew it Kise was on his knees, arms wrapped tight around his chest as he fought for breath, entire frame shaking as he let the tears fall. Aomine was by his side in seconds, hand hovering over his back before he sighed, pulling the other to his chest.
They sat like that for a while, Aomine hunched over with Kise half lying in his lap, not caring or aware of how they must look to everyone around them.
When Kise finally calmed down enough to try to talk he pulled away slightly, looking up at Aomine with watery eyes.
“I’m so sorry. I cannot believe I forgot you.” He rasped, words getting caught in his throat on the way out and Aomine levelled him with a gentle but firm smile.
“Right, ‘cus you picked what memories you didn’t want.” His voice was soft and Kise found himself laughing, shaking his head as he pushed himself away from the other, falling onto his back to watch the sky. He could feel Aomine’s concerned gaze on him and he almost painted a smile on his face, apology and joke to hide what just happened resting on his tongue before he sighed.
“It really fucking sucks. I’m aware that we were together, that you meant so much to me. But I still don’t fully remember. It’s like I just watched a short film of a love story, I don’t feel like the memories are mine.” He admitted, stretching out a hand towards the clouds. Aomine hummed, shifting into a cross legged position, shoulders hunched forwards.
“Guess that makes sense. I’m not here to make you come back though, nor to convince you that we need each other. I missed you like crazy but I’m not that much of an asshole. I just, wanted you to know, help fill the pieces.” Aomine shrugged, like he was talking about the weather and Kise laughed, the sound bubbling in his throat as he glanced over at the blue haired man.
“I appreciate that, but gosh don’t sound so down about it. I guess you’re the only person who gets to say they stumbled into my life twice though?” Kise grinned, whining at the way Aomine swiped at his arm. It felt natural, unsurprisingly to Kise, to just sit in the others company quietly.
It was the most normal he’d felt since he’d woke up in the hospital, briefly forgetting who he even was. The journey home had been full of the hosts warily hovering around him and as much as he loved his sister and was grateful for her taking him in, she had crowded and suffocated him as soon as he touched down, refusing to let anyone see him for the first few weeks, only easing up when Kise had snapped and shouted at her that he could handle seeing his friends.
It was strained with them though, them careful of what to say around him and Kagami even re-introducing himself just in case, which had amused Kise but also tired him out.
Sitting here on the sun warmed asphalt of the streetball court, watching parents drag their kids to school and groups of students laughing together, it was the most normal he’d felt in months. He looked over to Aomine, mouth twitching softly when he saw his eyes were closed.
Sitting up slowly, Kise scooted closer, poking at Aomine’s cheek with a pout, to which the other replied with a grunt, only cracking one eye open in response.
“I can’t say I remember a huge amount, or that much about you but. How about we just. Start again?” Kise queried, smile growing at the way Aomine frowned at him, in a way Kise vaguely recognised as an indication of mild annoyance.
Instead of replying he stood up, stretching his arms above his head before turning and holding out a hand.
“I’m Kise Ryouta, nice to meet you!” He chirped, feeling his heart pulse in his ears, happiness flowing through him for the first time in months. Aomine stared at him for a moment, one eyebrow drawn down in confusion before he huffed, shaking his head as he lifted his hand to grip Kise’s.
“Aomine Daiki.” He mumbled and Kise beamed, the brightness of his smile challenging the sun shining just above them.
When they both began walking to the nearest café, Kise chattering away excitedly and Aomine listening, focus directed completely at the blonde beside him, Kise couldn’t help but feel hope swell in his chest.
Things hadn’t been normal since he’d got back. He’d been feeling incomplete, but now, he realised it was because he forgot someone important.
And sure, he might forget again briefly, have trouble remembering events or conversations but he was happy he got a second shot and meeting Aomine, learning about him and knowing him, that was all that mattered.
He felt like he was finally home.
a little Kikasa i wrote for @loose-leaf-teacanons for christmas and send it as a card (and i took too long cos she only got it yesterday lmao) anyways I’m pretty happy with it so eh
“Hmmm, I don’t know….maybe a little bit off to the left? No, not my left, your left.”
Kasamatsu turned to shot a nasty glare at Kise who was leaning against the doorway and commenting (very unhelpfully) on Yukio’s decorating skills.
“Shut up.” He grumbled and turned back to arranging the decorations on the enormous Christmas tree Kise ordered a few days prior. When he was done, he stepped back and looked at his work. He had to admit, it looked very homey and Christmas-y (Yukio’s feelings regarding the holiday were very lukewarm but his brothers loved it so they always roped him into dressing the tree).
He hoped Kise would also be more lukewarm on the whole Christmas business, but as it turned out he shared the enthusiasm of Yukio’s brothers when it came to the western holiday.
He just didn’t expect to see an over 2 meters tall pine tree in their apartment.
He was about to deny, say no and tell Kise to get rid of it. It was late and he was tired after class and just wanted to relax with some coffee and a book. But then Kise hit him with a lethal bomb. Double lethal bomb.
First were his sad, big eyes which seemed to express genuine regret and the voice in Kasamatsu’s head screamed that it was a trap but a part of him already gave in.
And then Kise dropped the other shoe which was the fact that he didn’t have a Christmas tree at home since he was a little kid due to the fact that his parents were busy, his sisters were busy and he was busy himself so no one really had any mind to care about Christmas trees.
Also, the staggering amount of clothes, shoes, accessories and photographers’ equipment were significantly limiting the free space.
So, Yukio gave in even before he could say no.
The decorations arrived the next day.
Kise was bouncy and excited to be able to decorate the tree himself, but he ohed and ahed at each bauble he pulled out of the boxes and got distracted and five hours later the tree barely had one set of lamps.
Kasamatsu sighed, rubbed his temples and pulled up his (metaphorical sleeves) and got to work.
At first Kise whined how senpai took all his fun away but that lasted maybe for twenty minutes before his voice stopped (a sign of either good or bad things to come) and Yukio returned to his task at hand.
Before he knew it, he genuinely felt enjoyment from the action.
It reminded him of home and even his annoying little brothers.
As much as he didn’t want to admit it, he was feeling a bit homesick. It wasn’t even a full year since he moved in with Kise into their new apartment, leaving their dorms. It felt a little bit like they were leaving their families and friends too, even though that was ridiculous.
It made him realize that Kise was probably feeling homesick too but just couldn’t tell him like a normal person because this was Kise after all. Not many things were normal or regular about him.
Yukio worked for almost two hours without stopping, taking comfort and actually relaxing while being able to focus on something and let his thoughts roam freely.
He stopped only when felt the mix of cinnamon and spices hit his nose and Kise’s complaint hit his ears.
“If you don’t like it…then it’s too bad I’m almost done already and I’m not redoing it.”
Kise rolled his eyes and pulled from the doorway.
“I just said the tinsel is a bit crooked. Geez.” He said and handed Kasamatsu a mug with brown liquid.
Yukio snorted at Kise’s comment and grabbed the mug taking a hefty sip assuming it was coffee.
He assumed wrong.
He forced himself to swallow the beverage and made a face.
“Did you put five kilos of sugar in this?” He eyed the mug which turned out to be filled with hot cocoa. And not coffee.
This time it was Kise who snorted.
“No. If you don’t want it don’t drink it.” He reached for the mug in Kasamatsu’s hand, but Yukio pulled it away.
“Don’t be ridiculous. Don’t waste a perfectly good drink.” He said and wrinkled his nose. “Well, good is relative.” Yukio really disliked sweet things, which was especially hard to avoid during Christmas.
“Here.” He grabbed the last piece of décor which was a bright, yellow star with led batteries and gave it to Kise. “Make yourself useful for once.” He said and sat comfortably on the couch nursing the hot cocoa he really didn’t enjoy.
Kise stuck out his tongue at him and Yukio rolled his eyes.
“Mean.” Kise whined but put his own mug on the coffee table and unpacked the star.
Despite being way taller than Yukio, he still needed the ladder to reach the top of the tree and set the star there. Yukio had a brief, horrific thought that he was glad that Kise didn’t decide to slam dunk the star on top. Yeah, that was best not to be shared with the hyperactive ball of energy.
Kise hummed and harrumphed while on top of the ladder before he even put the star on.
Kise turned to Yukio with a blinding smile, so proud of his efforts as if he won the mister of Japan competition or something and almost jumped from the ladder.
He was about to scold him and yell at him for not being careful, but Kise plopped down on the floor and put his head on Yukio’s tight before he could say something.
“Done.” He said and then yawned.
“Idiot. Go to bed. It’s late.” Yukio finally let go and berated the brat a little.
Kise huffed and pressed his cheek more firmly to the rough texture of Kasamatsu’s jeans.
“In a moment.” Every word was punctuated by a deep yawn. Yukio rolled his eyes.
“You get up at the crack of down and come back late, no wonder you are tired.” Somehow Kasamatsu’s hand found itself in Kise’s hair. It always did that when Kise wasn’t an infuriating asshole and his head was near Kasamatsu’s hand.
The combo usually meant Yukio’s fist grinding into Kise’s head painfully when he did or said something stupid, but on occasion it was like this: fingers running through it and massaging his scalp and silently marveling on the softness of his hair.
“Well.” Kise paused and yawned again. “That is because I work so hard to have Christmas off so I can spend it with you.”
“Yeah, I know.” Yukio’s hand didn’t stop running through Kise’s hair. He took a sip of the over sugared cocoa and only grimaced a little.
Kise’s head became heavy on his leg and Yukio sighed.
“You have ten more minutes.” He said while pulling gently on a strand of Kise’s silky locks. “And then I’m kicking you awake.”
Kise made a sleepy noise.
Yukio sighed again.
“No, I am not carrying you to bed.”
Kise frowned and Kasamatsu snorted into his cocoa.
“Nice try.”
Gaby my love welcome back!! How about some Kasamatsu? I know, I know, big surprise right? ;)
@ourneverendingpossibilities Two birds in one stone! I’m not sure if this kind of story suits him, but I was so inspired… Enjoy!
Reader’s gender is supposed to be unspecified, but let me know if I slipped. Also very little dialogue? I hope it’s not boring.
Also contains adult-ish themes, but none too NSFW. Semi-NSFW, maybe.
This piece is long! Placed a Keep Reading so as to not flood your screen.
One: a business arrangement is not love.
The wedding reception was fast. The two of you showed convincing displays of affection, sharing a few kisses on the lips and holding hands when necessary. To the naked eye of the public, you and Kasamatsu Yukio looked just like two people in love. To a select few, however, the wedding was merely an act.
“That was kind of exhausting,” you sigh, tipping the champagne glass to allow you to chug all of it in. Kasamatsu doesn’t bat an eyelash, helping himself to the liquor.
“Yeah.”
Although the two of you are not in love, you are not enemies either. Dressed in matching robes (complimentary, from the hotel staff in celebration of your tying the knot), you and your husband across one another on the balcony overlooking a spectacular view of the city. Not exactly the way you imagined your wedding night to go—drinking with your spouse until the edge of sobriety, that is—and to be fair, probably not how he imagined it to go as well.
You’re doing this for duty. He’s doing this for the same reason, but mainly for his father. That much you know.
You decide to cut the silence first.
“Now that we’re stuck together,” you say, the sound mixed with your sigh of fatigue, “might as well make the most of it.” The proclamation catches your now-husband’s attention, because those metal blue eyes look at yours almost glaringly. You smile, averting your gaze from his in favor of the view.
“What I’m saying is that we could at least be friends. Think of me as your roommate.” You continue, and the nostalgic visions in your head of university days cause you to break out into a grin and a small laugh. Perhaps it’s your mind’s own way to protect itself from the truth that you just got into a business marriage.
He scoffs, presumably amused at your antics. Your optimism is infectious. Kasamatsu suddenly doesn’t really mind the arrangement, not when his assigned partner is trying to exploit the most fun out of it.
He proposes a toast to the roommate agreement, and the two of you continue to drink the night away.
Two: you don’t fall in love with your roommate.
Kasamatsu Yukio might seem like an incredibly practical, straightforward individual upon one’s first impression. Like a trained assassin, his mannerisms and course of action are geared towards the completion of a goal—definitely not the type to lay back and smell the flowers.
Yet you have seen him laugh openly like he’s nine again. Many times this months. From your spontaneous and deadly tickle fights to some lame joke you made, from late night comedies to just… simple conversations.
You’ve learned to understand him better in the period of three months of sharing a living space and a ring on each of your fingers.
You might have learned a little bit too much.
Because you catch yourself staring at his back while he flips the pancakes. Because your walls tumble down as he asks you how your day was. Because you feel your heart might burst when he ruffles your hair and whispers ‘good night’. Because he acts like he cares.
One morning you wake, the blue lights of dawn filtering in through the blinds, and he is a painting. Beautiful, undisturbed, eternal.
And you realize you are falling for him.
You exit the apartment early that day, before he wakes, making sure to leave behind a note on the fridge with some near-acceptable reason to get out of the house at 6 in the morning. You can’t bear to face him knowing that you just. might. love him.
Three: you don’t get jealous of your roommate.
His father’s health deteriorated. He isn’t doing well mentally. You are almost always left with the shell of Kasamatsu Yukio when he comes back home after a hospital visit. You fix him a warm drink always—fall may have just begun, but the cold air does not hold back.
But his heart, too, has grown cold.
2 a.m. and he’s gone from his side of the bed. You are only awake because of the annoying urge to go to the toilet. Worried, you call him once, twice, no response. Trying to stay up all night for him doesn’t work—you can’t help but fall asleep at 5 a.m., at least half an hour before he comes back home. You don’t see him until the next night because of work, but when you do…
“Where did you go last night?”
“Out.”
You resist the urge to roll your eyes, taking into consideration his fatigued mental state thanks to his father’s condition. “Seemed like it. Where?”
“It’s none of your business.”
Dinner that night is cold and silent, the click-clack of silverware against plates seems louder than they usually are, as if intimidating you by showing just how not-your-business his nightly outings are.
You’re in a business marriage, after all.
Soon, that one night out turns into two, and then three, and then five times in two weeks. You lie in bed restless for all those occasions, until you decide to earn the truth from somebody else’s confession—one of Kasamatsu’s aides, a man that just joined the company, oblivious towards the charade that is your marriage.
You don’t have to pretend much to be a worried wife. You’re already worried. The aide sees that, and does his best to dig around. He finally tells you, through text, that your husband has been hanging around one of his closest friends. They’ve been spotted at multiple nightclubs, each visit rousing huge numbers of people to crowd and gather there.
If you know one person in Kasamatsu’s circle that is all about the night life, it’s Kise Ryouta.
The blonde is also all about the women—or men, depending on his mood, so they say—and a bitter taste enters your mouth. You aren’t eating or chewing on anything.
Jealousy enters your system like bile. Kasamatsu, club-hopping, a woman or man (also depending on his mood, you think) hooked on each of his arm. He’d drink, brood, looking like a fine damaged hunk with the top two buttons of his shirt open. You’ve seen that sight before during the first days of his father’s diagnosis. Although it’s hard at first for you to concoct that image in your mind, thanks to Kasamatsu’s usual virtuous and morally strong behavior, you quickly attribute it to the stress he’s had a lot of recently.
An angel fallen. Not uncommon to hear people turn to sex when they want to escape from reality.
He probably doesn’t find you to his tastes.
Maybe he likes his girls and guys a little wilder, wearing revealing clothing and purring on his lap, calling him something kinky like daddy or master. Maybe he wants them to giggle next to him, playfully drawing circles on his chest and whispering provocative things in his ear. Maybe he prefers to have them at the back of a nightclub, scarcely hidden in the shadows while he claims them.
You remember him flipping pancakes.
Asking you how your day was, ruffling your hair and whispering ‘good night’. You remember him smiling, and you cry yourself to sleep.
Four: you’re bad at lying.
His father has almost fully recovered and it’s as if nothing has happened. He starts talking to you again like he didn’t disappear at least three or four times a week in late September. He’s suddenly your good friend again.
You, on the other hand, have a hard time pretending everything is okay. It’s hard enough to keep up the act in public, when the two of you are together, but you have to put that mask on even in your own home. You’re crumbling inside. Cold. You want to push him away, but that will lead him to question.
And you can’t bear to let your feelings slip. It’s clear that he doesn’t feel the same, judging by the midnight escapades, the way he shuts you out. You’re suffering alone.
“Are you okay?”
He’s asked that a billion times today, you duly note, and you try your best to give him that eye-smile you gave the people at your wedding. It’s a charmer. They always fall for it. The corner of your mouth twitches weakly, and inside, you know you’ve lost.
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Doesn’t look like it,” he asks, clearly concerned. You take a glance at those metal blue eyes and immediately look away, pretending that your platter of toast and scrambled eggs is way more interesting.
“I’m fine,” you repeat, trying to sound final.
“____________, you’ve been acting really weird lately.”
How do you even respond to that? You sigh, feigning exhaustion but really, it’s frustration. Frustration towards your silly feelings that decide that it’s better for you to fall in love with him, your fake. husband. living together with you under the guise of a fake. marriage. It’s for fucking money.
“Work’s just stressing me out.”
“I know you better than you think,” he says, setting down his fork and knife. “If it’s work, you would’ve already ranted to me a thousand times about it already.”
“This one’s different,” you mutter, “I can’t really talk about it.”
“The hell does that mean? Our companies are close to a merger—you should talk about it.”
And then you look at him straight in the eye, breakfast forgotten. He looks at you, confused yet hypnotized. Your eyebrows crease just the slightest but enough for him to see from across the table, the tightness of your lips also visible. You’re sending him a message that you’re not even aware of. Your face tells him first. Your eyes tell him next.
Your lips tell him last.
“I can’t talk about it.”
A chord strikes in him, reverberating in the chambers of his soul, sounding like a whisper, but its echoes shout. He understands. You don’t see it yet.
Five: he’s bad at lying.
The next few days pass with him being so unusually close to you. The roles have reversed: in the fall, you were always beside him like a blanket, full of warmth and embracing him just in case he decides to wilt away. This time, in the wake of winter, you’re the one escaping him, and he’s watching, touching a piece of you to make sure you don’t. Your wrist, your shoulder, your cheek.
He witnesses moments where it’s as if he has thawed you out—your eyes are always quite telling—but in a second, the sign is gone, leaving him wondering if he merely conjured it.
And then one day he talks to you after dinner. You have a few strands of spaghetti on your plate, but he half-drags you to the couch, ignoring your excuses of being tired after work.
“There’s someone,” he says.
You swallow. So your imagination turned out to be true. The dinner sitting in your stomach threatens to make its way back out, but you brace yourself and continue. Feigning mild surprise, you reply, “I see.”
The voice barely sounds like you. Has that much life and energy escaped you?
“You know where I’ve been. September.”
“Yeah,” you answer, mouth dry. His eyes pierce through you, and you can’t find it in you to look away no matter how much you need to.
There’s a bitter smile on his lips, like an unspoken apology. “Kise has a way of roping me into doing things that I… don’t really want. But you know I was in a bad place. I wanted to forget the truth.”
“I understand,” you answer again, more robotic than genuine. Your mind is reeling yet still. This is happening. Who knows what’s going to happen to you. Maybe he’ll have the divorce papers ready by tomorrow. He’ll tell you you need to pack up.
You’re leaving him.
“Kise invites me to the places he frequents for drinks—or more. You know him. He insists that he knows some people that might help take my mind off of things.”
You’re silent. Does he really need to tell you all this? Couldn’t he just leave it at that and tell you to go? The couch and the floor it stands on suddenly doesn’t seem so stable. Kasamatsu looks down at his hands, clearly trying to get a bearing of himself, and you take the chance, praying your voice won’t come out shaky.
“It’s alright, you don’t have to tell me,” you say. You can do this. The faster you get over this, the better. He doesn’t have to see you cry. “I’m okay with whatever you do from here on out, though I’m more concerned about your father. I can help you with the divorce lawyer—”
“—but you don’t understand, ____________, I’m married to that someone.”
A hand cups your cheek and your mind turns blank, like a film reel cut short. He looks down at your knees, swallowing, his other hand clenching and unclenching. He chastises himself for being reduced into a mess, but there’s no time to stop.
“You’re glowing. All the time, around the house, like a fireball. I thought I was going to live in a cold apartment for the rest of my life. After the wedding, you made me laugh for the first time in months. You roped me into tickle fights. You somehow made me want to make breakfast for you. You’re impossible to defy. Every night we sleep on the same bed, I have a growing urge to take you into my arms and hug you.” He chuckles, the refreshing sound breaking his stream of words. “And to think it started with me wondering how it feels to have you sleep against my chest.”
“Kasamatsu—”
He has a thumb on your lips, caressing so gently it makes you want to cry. Your eyes water, tears threatening to spill down your cheeks.
“Don’t call me that. Call me like we’re in public.”
“…Yukio.”
“Louder.”
“Yukio.”
“Tell me the things you tell people when we’re in public.”
“I’m happy with Yukio.”
“Tell me more.”
“I… love Yukio.”
He presses a kiss on your temple and you sob, cupping your mouth.
“Tell me more,” he repeats, softer this time.
“I love you, Yukio.”
His lips meet yours and you see stars behind your closed eyelids, the salt from your tears barely registering. Kasamatsu’s hand snakes to cup the back of your head, urging you gently to take more of him. You sigh, and he takes his chance. Warmth slips into your mouth and you moan at the taste of him, something you’ve only been able to long for, your fingers running up his sculpted chest. The two of you part for air, and even then, his lips still hover over yours, hot breath tingling your skin.
“I love you, too.”
