I love ilagining Von Karma craving littles girls love and admiration. Not because he's a creep or wathever but because he's SO used to Franziska and maybe her friends (I think she spoke highly of him) that he's just used to be the cool guy that little girl like to be around.

love seeing your takes on mouthwashing and how sane they are. everything's so black or white. I like how you acknowledge curlys abuse under jimmy (which I honestly didn't quite notice when I first watched a playthrough. should rewatch w this in mind) and how that very much doesn't "forgive" his inaction towards Anya and Her abuse under jimmy. I think what happens to him despite all his issues (bc he clearly wasn't OK 😊✌🏼) is very much karmic. I really did hurt huh

I hate the take that what happened to him is karmic as becoming disabled and being tortured is like not in any way an equal consequence for not taking more action against Jimmy. It is a consequence as is the whole game for everyone but it’s one that is very much established as being undeserved and extreme as everyone else’s but Jimmy’s fate.

Thank you for liking my takes but I also try to point out that this exact sort of framing of the events and what happened to Curly is bad especially if you are gonna factor in his own abuse into the equation of his inaction/ineffective acts. It’s like “saying yeah he deserved the abuse he was already going through to escalate because he didn’t do enough” which is like not a message the game tries to deliver at all. It’s like the game shows that abusers escalate

Karma and punishment are not concepts that I think should be directly tied to Curly’s fate especially since during the game and even in discussion he takes on too many consequences of someone else’s actions. Like this framing is the direct thing I describe taking the discussion away from Jimmy, P.E and the factors that created the environment in the first place.

I’ve never seen anyone talk about how much Jorah Mormont is going to viscerally hate Jon Snow.

First of all, any man that Daenerys is interested in romantically and/or sexually is someone Jorah is automatically going to hate.

Secondly, Jon is the son of Ned Stark (the man responsible for exiling Jorah).

Thirdly, Jorah’s own father became a father figure in Jon’s life and treated Jon as a son and heir (to the Night’s Watch) and also gave Jon his house’s Valyrian steel family sword. Which Jorah last saw when he left it behind, before he ran away. Joer Mormont even had the sword re-designed to fit a Stark more than a Mormont.

Jorah is going to be fuming like a cartoon villain with steam coming out of his ears and nose and Jon is barely going to have any conceivable idea why this man wants him dead.

Karma's Relationship With His Parents

this is mainly how I interpret it, ofc there's a possibility that it's really not that deep, but I like thinking abt it more in depth

okay so today's topic is karma's relationship w his parents and why has he never shown any hatred nor was ever bothered by the fact that his parents are literally never home and treats their 'home' as more of a pit stop from their travels

he never showed any resentment towards his parents in both the main series as well as the light novels despite being literally abandoned half of the time at home and I feel like the reason was pretty easy,, he doesn't know what it felt like to have present parents in the first place,, why would he miss or want smth he doesn't know the feeling of? Well, one might ask what does he feel about the others who do have good relationships w their parents and the brief answer is: he doesn't have enough friends to know💀💀the only friend who he got close enough is nagisa and not only nagisa's parents are divorced, but he knows his relationship w his mom is strained,, even sugino pointed it out when they went to visit nagisa's home just to hang out

since no one else is friends w him (and the majority of parents of the class E students have expressed their disappointment in them), it's hard to imagine having a happy family to begin w, some might even say that he doesn't crave it as much bcs he was never surrounded by any

I do feel like as he gets older he might have a strained relationship w his parents in result to their poor presence when he was younger, but it's not like bad blood, just that they feel like strangers🧍🏻‍♀️but knowing karma, he doesn't do or get achievements for anyone's sake so I doubt he cares about his parents' congratulations to him on anything he does,, in the end, he does things bcs he believes he has to, no one else has to drive him to do anything
