Going a bit Bob Ross here because I need to do more backgrounds.

Karelle in her early Skyrim days when she was a drifter and poacher around Falkreath and Lake Ilinalta. She'd roam around and learn from other hunters how to take care of herself. Back then she was a bit more outdoorsy, mostly out of necessity but it gave her a sense of freedom she had been missing. This lifestyle would end when Thalmor agents managed to track her down from across the border. She would deal with them with her new skills but it was the push to make her relocate to the cities once more, which would eventually lead her to the Thieves Guild.
