so the MCU Red Daggers:

a) based all over the world, but seem to be centered in South Asia. b) trying to stop a dimension from pouring into their own through spacetime even tho c) they seem to have only normal weapons and tech, though some may be a little advanced and also d) despite their fight against the Noor dimension, they have no problem working with people who use Noor powers/tech or have Noor ancestry.

Also since the Red Daggers Kareem introduces her to (im assuming the teens at the bonfire were other Red Daggers tho that's conjecture) are p young, and also the way that they knew the Clandestine Ayesha had the bangle but weren't aware that it had since been handed to Sana - the one who actually was in Karachi - implies they had a pretty big base in India and might still have it.

Where am I going with all this?? So. You know who would be the perfect fit. For a young South Asian kid with spacetime powers that the Red Daggers would want on their side bc he basically let's them warp all over the world with less than a thought???

Anyways skipping away to write fics where the Red Daggers are dealing with the ripple effects of all the jump points leaving the Noor unstable and giving a random kid powers and Kamran empathizing with him even as he uncovers a conspiracy about the Noor dimension and it's escapees-

it's no secret that I'm not the biggest fan of how Red Dagger was adapted into the MCU.(Don't get me wrong, in a vacuum, I would have been fine with it, but Kareem in the comics represented a lot to me as a Pakistani comics fan. I'll talk so much about this topic but that's not the point rn-)

But you know what would be really funny??? If Amulet, Fadi Fadlalah, was put in the MCU and then got the supernatural enemies he was fighting against be swapped out for fighting just regular guys. Also his magic practicing support structure should be taken out.

This will even the scales between Amulet and Red Dagger. Do it cowards.

Kamala Khan and Red Dagger are on the rooftop when they are attacked by Zombie Cyclops. At first, Kamala was hesitant to fight Cyclops because he was her friend/teammate until she realizes that this "Cyclops" is a zombie. Kamala theorizes that the Orchis had stole the corpses of the mutants who died earlier and used the bodies as weapons against her. While fighting Zombie Cyclops, Red Dagger could not believe that Kamala came out of the "egg" during her resurrection. Red Dagger takes down Zombie Cyclops by smashing the body to the ground before coming back to the rooftop. Just as Kamala and Red Dagger kiss, they are attacked by more mutant zombies - Zombie Jubilee, Zombie Cannonball and Zombie Nightcrawler. Kamala Khan and Red Dagger work together in taking down the zombie mutants.

So Kamala Khan has now had a total of 4 kisses in the comics! 2 with Red Dagger (aka, Kareem), 1 with Bruno Carrelli, and 1 with Spider-Man (aka, Miles Morales).

Albeit the last one was apparently just an illusion that Miles experienced while trapped in Arcade���s Murderworld…

Bc of all the characters, it is him specifically who is so different in both personality and background from the original guy that I think it would be fascinating to have him react to the differences.

there’s just something about kareem and kamala in ms marvel…

like, bruno and kamran are both more obvious love interests (with bruno pining after kamala and her maybe?? feeling the same way and kamala pining after kamran and him probably?? feeling the same way even though his mom put him up to getting to know her and their almost-kiss came right after he found out his mom was dead and while he was being actively chased by the government) and they both attempt to pursue a romance with her more explicitly (again, the “date” and the almost-kiss with kamran, bruno trying to ask kamala to dance)

but kareem comes into the show as kamala’s total equal. there are no lopsided feelings, they have good chemistry but nothing too dramatic romance-wise. he keeps her on her toes and vice versa…AND he’s nice enough to invite her, a girl he just met that that day, to come hang out with him and his friends. everything is mostly platonic but there’s a pretty obvious vibe, especially during the bonfire scene. slow and steady wins the race, that’s all I can say
