He pretended to think deeply, though he was just wondering how he could make it more sluttier. “Unbutton the first four.”

“Shuji.”

He stood up, coming to stand behind you and turning you to face the mirror again. He made sure the camera was focused on the two of your reflections in the mirror. You tilted your head up to look at him but he grabbed your chin and forced you to look straight ahead. 

“Just unbutton them I wanna see something.”

You sighed and began to unbutton the first four. Without a doubt, your clevage was starting to show and he smirked, dropping his spare hand down to your chest. His large hands cupped your breast, squeezing and palming it.

Rindou sighed and took his headphones that were around his neck and put them on, leaning back in his gaming chair and pressed play. He had a habit of skipping halfway through videos out of impatience and immediately regretted it when the screen showed Shuji’s dick on screen tapping against your lips. 

“Ew what the fuck.” He instantly recoiled, dropping his phone onto his desk. He rubbed his temples for a few seconds then picked it back up. After the initial shock wore off, he pressed play.

“Don’t fucking choke me this time. I don’t wanna get caught.”

thank you!! i feel like there's always this tension of not wanting to fall for the other party in fake relationships, so i wanted to try writing something a little lighter! hope you like it hehe

it's the 100th anniversary of a department store chain and you're invited to be their brand ambassador for their year-long campaign. you take up the offer, even if the contract demands you pretend to date your fellow model yukimiya and shoot in all their stores across the country throughout the duration of the campaign.

you're in okinawa for your first shoot, and yukimiya can barely stop sneezing for five minutes to snap a few photos with you. the february wind brings the beginnings of spring warmth and pollen, and unfortunately for yukimiya, his nose decides it's had enough. he constantly apologises for his allergies, which you brush off politely with a smile full of pity and concern. although yukimiya keeps you an arm's distance away, you notice how the pink around his eyes matches the blooming cherry blossoms around you.

the ice between you two melts as your kyushu tour begins. conversation blooms between shoots and yukimiya even treats you to dinner on an off-day, and the two of you are starting to garner attention. the paparazzi first spots you two in nagasaki, sharing wired earbuds and a fruit parfait. the public doesn't notice your carefully styled outfits, too distracted by how good you two look together to realise the cafe you two were at was under the brand you're advertising.

it is only when you reach the kanto region that things start to change. you get into your first argument with yukimiya in your hotel room; you're both tired from the constant travelling and stressed out by the nonstop glances from passersby, and you end up saying something a little too grating for yukimiya's liking. he calls you out for it and you get defensive, which only makes him push his point even harder. at some point, a silence falls over the room, and you sigh. you apologise and yukimiya pulls you in for a hug. it's the first time you two have touched without any cameras present, and it's the first time you realise how truly safe you feel with him.

you finally reach hokkaido in the last leg of the campaign. yukimiya warms your hands between his while you monitor your b-cuts, giving you thoughtful advice as you take it in with a nod. later, you share the bento you made earlier that morning with him during lunch, and in front of all your colleagues, yukimiya tells you that he'll be the happiest man on earth if he could eat your cooking every day.

the sun is setting while you and yukimiya check through your final shots. you can't help but think to yourself that you'll never be here again with yukimiya leaning over your shoulder, carefully examining pictures of the two of you against the white backdrop of fresh snow.

in the very last picture of the entire campaign, you're holding an umbrella over your heads while yukimiya holds your waist. a scarf connects the two of you, draped strategically to have the brand logo in the bottom right corner of the shot. sunlight bounces off the snowflakes on the ground to illuminate your mingling breaths between your noses.

you know that this is all for show. everything you have done with yukimiya has been for the camera, and every city you've visited with him was for the campaign. yet, in the way you look at yukimiya in the picture, you see the culmination of all the memories you've made together. there's the first movie you watched during a long break between shoots, the first hug you shared that night in your hotel room, and the first bite of food yukimiya fed you in the corner of that diner in miyagi. there's your anticipation of his next joke, your groundedness in the present only he can give, your desire to close the gap.

there's everything the camera has seen and more.

less than a year ago, you only knew yukimiya by name. now, you look at the way he holds your gaze and you know that he shares every thought, feeling, and memory with you. so when the campaign comes to a close, your fake relationship with yukimiya follows suit to make way for a real one.

Well, being in Kansai I got to see Kyo on Break Out a week later than people in Kanto, but its true what he said. They have obviously cut most of his answers!

What we did get was that he eats a lot of chocolate, he is really bad at remembering lyrics, and that Androgynos really tired him out 😅

I'll try my best!

- Indigo's drive to want to be better lead him into the man that does nearly everything. People are kinda surprised

- Despite it all, Indigo is the most well known of the trio yet somehow, people are surprised that he is related to equally popular people.

- Indigo's responsibilities go from Contest Prince -> Fashion designer -> Music Videos -> Streaming

- Indigo Streams his contest Battles and teaches people how to knit and Sew, but more often people hop on to watch him relax and play games (this happens rarely). He streams about once a month

- While not at battle strong as Ash or Peach, Indigo has definitely bern shown to be strong as hell

- Ash and Peach join in on these streams, and people can see the difference of Indigo, the Prince of Kanto, and see Indigo Ketchum, the unfortunate oldest of a triplet scheme.

- Ash is more well known in the Battle Circuit, people are determined to beat him.

- Given his very open record, people often mock him for the battles he lost, Ash doesn't care. He's not afraid to show people that you can loose and still rise.

- Has once completely forgot proper Decorum and pushed Indigo into a lake live on the News. Glanced at everyone, brushed himself down and smiled. "The little brother in me couldn't help it."

- When Red was born, People swore that Ash would sing to him during League battles, it was never caught or proven on camera.

- When Red was about 5 years old, Red and Ash were caught singing in the Champions booth during intermission. Broadcasted by Cynthia singing "Axolotl on the Pink Stairs"

- Ash has had to fight off random women who claim to be Red's mother. It's quiet literally not true and he is *Very* Done with the whole affair.

- Peach isn't well known because she actually goes by Professor Miyuki (her middle name) and just vibes

- She screamed live on Television because Indigo bodily checked her after she had a Shinx zap him. It's one of the most memed Betrayed noises on the internet

- She has been seen giving Professor Gary Oak piggy back rides, they both act like it's completely normal

- Despite the Above, it's pretty widely understood that they are both Gay best friends. Gary is only minorly miffed given that he and Peach are not Best friends

- Her research Papers and collaboration with many professor's are often coupled with the images of her sitting weird. They've taken a picture of her on top of a fridge and arguing with many a man.

Assuming they'd even do the trend with you in the first place. Racer!Mikey would do the trend with you, and he'd even enjoy it, he'd lift you onto his shoulder with no problem, grinning when you're all giggles for the camera. Toman!Mikey would, but you can't post it for a multitude of reasons, the most important reason being that he's a wanted criminal but he'd have no problem doing it so that you can keep the video in your gallery to watch when you miss him. Yakuza!Mikey would also but he'd just stand there until it was time for him too pick you up, which he'd then lift you like you weighed nothing. Manila!Mikey I feel would be so confused because he's not even on social media, I don't believe most of them are. I do believe he'd participate though but he'd probably lift you up by the back of your shirt. Kanto!Mikey and Bonten!Mikey would not participate but for different reasons. The former doesn't care too nor does he see the point and the ladder is just really busy and tired.

How long would Death Note be if Light was actually a completely law-abiding, if vaguely narcissistic, citizen during the kira murders who just so happened to tick off L's "he's a serial killer" radar?

I mean, that's the thing, he wouldn't tick off L's radar

Why Did L Suspect Light Anyway

L does single-mindedly pursue the theory of "Light Yagami is Kira" to an utterly insane degree, even accepting for things like "he conveniently got amnesia for no reason" and "even though I put cameras in every corner of his house I didn't catch him" and "even though I handcuffed him literally to my side I couldn't catch him"

It is nuts.

However, I will give L credit, he didn't pick Light out of a hat.

L's initial theory was simply that Kira was in Japan and taking a stab in the dark probably the Kanto region. Light confirmed this for him due to an egotistical hissy fit with L having to put in very little effort.

This brought L to focus on Tokyo.

L further figures out fairly early on that Light has a student's schedule, not a working adult's in Japan, and this is because Light at the time didn't realize he could control the exact time at which a person dies and by the time Light changes his method it's already too late.

Now, what happened then is that Light intentionally tipped his hand. After Lind L. Taylor, Light took L's existence extremely personally and nursed quite the grudge and the vendetta. To "win" as Kira, to prove he's a god to himself and the populace, he must personally kill L. As a result, Light does many things that put him in danger/do nothing to help him as Kira just to have his chance at L.

The big one is that he starts using information only known to the Japanese police force. He intentionally does this so that L focuses enough on Tokyo and the police there that Light can get a firmer grasp on him, what Light didn't account for was that L would immediately narrow in on him and him alone or the lengths he'd go to in order to investigate Light as a suspect.

But thanks to Light, L did know that whoever was doing this had access to police information not available to the public. Now, Light was likely hoping L would assume it was a cop, but L expanded his search to the police and their family members, presuming that family members may have access to these networks due to insecure home practices and such (which Light does).

Now, L never explains canonically why he's so certain Light is Kira, but if I'm putting myself in his shoes I can take a wager as to why Light made him go "ding ding ding".

L's looking for the type of person who would become Kira. He already knows this person is Japanese, likely a student in a rigidly structured school day (so not in university), but someone with good enough English to have followed the Lind L. Taylor broadcast, someone savvy with the internet so as to kill international criminals.

What he also knows is that Kira is obsessive, manic, single-minded, and unquestioning of his beliefs. Kira is also someone with an absurd amount of faith in law enforcement and the justice system (Light... doesn't spend too long questioning whether or not the people he sentences to death are guilty of the crimes they were sentenced for/the life circumstances which might lead to someone committing a heinous crime and whether or not that matters) which makes sense for a workaholic policeman's son in homicide whose son idolizes him.

Not to mention that, aside from his hatred of L, Kira is extremely respectful of the police in general. He never goes after the Japanese police the way he does L (only the FBI agents tailing him) and it's clear that his great rivalry is with L, not the Japanese police, interpol, or any kind of cops.

So, we're looking at someone who really respects the law... without understanding what the law even is, why it exists, or why "no, Light, murdering thousands of people does not magically make you exempt".

Adults typically don't act like Light does. Even after the six-year time skip, Light's still obsessive but he has changed greatly from the boy he was. And Mikami, an adult who is inspired by him and kills in the same way is... a very different kind of person ultimately driven by a victim mentality.

My point is, it would make sense for L to suspect a teenager rather than an independent adult. The schedule lines up, the personality lines up, and while this is very likely a highly precocious individual (and someone who knows he's very clever) they still feel young.

So, L narrows it down to a set of families and look what we have: Light Yagami, brilliant young man who scores first in the country on every exam he ever takes, talented in athletics at a national level, has succeeded at everything in his life and is the pride and joy of his family, utterly adores his police chief father and has repeatedly shown interest in following his career path and even taken steps towards doing so as a high school student.

And L says "bingo".

But Back to Your Question

Putting aside whether or not anyone else would ever go as ham killing the types of people Light did for no particular reason (Misa, for example, would probably have only gone after her parent's killer. Mikami would have gone after his childhood tormentors/his mother. Higuchi went after corporate rivals) there's also whether they'd have that police information from Japan (probably not likely), and if they'd act the way that Light did.

Basically, while it is a nice thought... I don't think L would suspect Light in these circumstances as he'd ultimately be dealing with a very different person who acts in very different ways.

Light would never tip off his radar.

Fujimi-Yagura: One of Tokyo’s Last Edo Castle Guard Towers・皇居に残る江戸城富士見櫓

The Fujimi-Yagura guard tower, originally built in 1606, was destroyed in a 1657 fire and reconstructed in 1659. Over the centuries, it endured further challenges, including damage from the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, after which it was repaired into its present form.

Beneath the tower, its stone wall foundation is among the oldest surviving within the former Edo Castle grounds. Built in the uchikomi-hagi (打込矧ぎ) joinery style, the stones were carefully shaped and fitted without mortar, allowing the wall to withstand centuries of earthquakes.

As I framed Fujimi-Yagura through my camera’s viewfinder, I reflected on how this watchtower has silently witnessed Tokyo’s transformation. The contrast between its centuries-old stonework and the glass-and-steel skyscrapers behind it stayed with me. I felt grateful to capture both past and present in a single frame—an enduring piece of Edo’s history standing amid the ever-changing city skyline.

A Quick Z-A Lore Overview

I love me some Pokemon lore, so here's a quick compilation of all the important things I noticed in the Z-A trailer and gameplay footage! A lot of this has already been mentioned by others, but I just wanted to get this out there! (This isn't complete, just a compilation of things I noticed and wanted to talk about.)

The very first thing the trailer gives us is a look at the protagonists.

Now, it took me a bit to notice, but these are totally based on Ethan and Lyra, right?

Firstly, their hair is very very similar. Their hats have the same color scheme, minus Ethan's counterpart missing the yellow. The Z-A protag's shoes match their respective HGSS protagonist's outfit colors very closely, and their belts match their PokeNavs. As for what this means, well, that's... less clear.

The Z-A website says the protagonist begins by "arriving in Lumiose for some sightseeing" and "While visiting Lumiose City during your travels, you’ll come to stay in an old hotel named Hotel Z." As for whether they're literally Ethan and Lyra on vacation, I'm... not sure. It's true that Legends Arceus features Lucas / Dawn, isekaid into Hisui, but here, we're in modern-day Kalos. We're definitely after XY, judging by AZ's Floette, likely after SM, due to the prominence of the Rotom Phone, and, honestly, I think after SV, due to the Rotom Phone's new capabilities (more on that later). Now, we know Red is 20 in SM, according to concept art, placing his adventure as nine years prior. Ethan / Lyra came three years later, making them 17 in SM. We don't know how much time passed between SM and SwSh and SV, other than I think Peony's Adven-tour lacking Penny only makes sense eighteen months or more before SV. Even if you disagree with me, the Johto protagonists effectively have to be adults by the time of SV and onwards, where we seem to be. Plus, the Z-A protagonists seem to not have Ethan and Lyra's eye colors-- it's kinda an averaged grey-brown. I don't think we're literally Ethan/Lyra for that reason, but I do think we're related somehow.

Just a minor observation, but those are the ambiguous statues seen in places like Kanto's Victory Road, and the Wild Zone number is inside a pentagon, much like the Route signs in the original Kalos games! Neat!

I know Sandile are frequently shown hiding in the sand like this, but if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time they've shown Krokorok like that?

Wild Zone 1 is given quite a bit of focus in the trailer-- enough where it's super simple to point out where on the map it is! It's what I've outlined in purple, while it seems like we meet the starters in the red circle. The Fletchling and Fletchinder are obscuring Hotel Z, where we can see later in the trailer the first rival battle with Urbain/Taunie occurs, and what's past the first Wild Zone?

That's Sycamore Pokemon Lab! Seems like we'll be heading there quite early in the story. Is Sycamore himself still in charge, or has enough time passed where it's changed hands to Sina, Dexio, Trevor, or another character?

In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it animation when jumping across roofs, we can see that it's actually the Rotom Phone enabling the player to double-jump! The last shot of the trailer also features a Rotom Phone:

It definitely seems like the Rotom Phone will be playing a big role! I also think this points to Z-A taking place after SV-- the Rotom Phone is clearly doing more advanced things than catching us when we fall, and now it has three cameras, when it had one in SwSh and two in SV!

As for why the Rotom Phone is relevant, well, Lumiose City is the home of Clemont, who invented the Rotom Pokedex (according to concept art, Samson in SM, and Kukui in Masters). Perhaps our Rotom Phone's new features tie back to him in some way?

AZ and his Floette being together means this is after XY at the very least. But, also, why does AZ seem older? He didn't need a cane before. He's immortal, he shouldn't *be* aging (the height is not due to his immortality, that's due to ultimate weapon exposure). Was his immortality lifted somehow?

While the Pokemon Centers in Lumiose have changed designs, as has the PC, the nurse behind the counter seems to be roughly the same.

In the gameplay overview, we can see this holographic person. The other man is likely speaking to him with the Holo Caster-- in fact, holographic technology seems to be heavily connected to the reconstruction in general, with the Wild Zone gates seemingly being holograms and the redevelopment program being described as high-tech. Lysandre was the one who made the original Holo Caster, though, and he's dead. So, uh, what's going on here? Could Malva be involved somehow? She was the main newscaster on the Holo Caster. This definitely seems to tie Quasartico to Flare in some way...

I'm very curious as to the in-universe etymology of Quasartico, by the way. A quasar is a very specific thing to use in a name, yknow?

TRANSLATION; KILLER

The night air was thick with tension as Y/N strolled through the dimly lit streets, shrouded in mystery. Another encounter awaited him at the Japanese task force building, where L resided. As he approached the building, a sense of both curiosity and agitation washed over him.

L was starting to suspect him which was getting on his nerves. But also. This was perfect. Y/n saw an opportunity in L’s unexpected liking towards him, realising the potential to turn the tide of the investigation to his advantage. With a calculated approach, these last few months he had been under L’s surveillance, he had strategically begun to build a stronger connection with him, gaining his trust through subtle cooperation and active involvement through the case. Y/n elected some sort of empathy from L, clouding his judgement and creating a shield around himself.

Inside, a labyrinth of monitors and scattered notes filled the room. L, a figure cloaked in the shadows, turned his piercing gaze towards you. “I have been observing you.” he said, voice laced with suspicion. “There are certain inconsistencies in your actions that raise my suspicions.” His intellect was unmatched, Y/N couldn’t help but be captivated by his presence.

But Y/N was not without his secrets. Throughout school, he was classified as a genius right through to his adulthood. He is highly perceptive, and manipulative. He wouldn’t be foolish enough to slip out a single word that would hint that he was Kira.

“May I ask, what certain inconsistencies are you speaking of?” He paused, thinking for a moment. “Ryuzaki?”

“Kira is located in the Kanto region of Japan, he is believed to be a college student based on the timings of the killings. It’s obvious also that he has access to the police database, shown through the timing adjustments and a behavioural analysis we conducted whilst you were under camera surveillance at home.”

Y/N’s chest tightened, keeping the innocent facade present as his hands rested in his pockets. “Interesting deductions, L. The investigation certainly seems thorough. But I must say, attributing all these traits to one person seems like a stretch. Let's not overlook the possibility of a more elaborate scheme at play here, shall we?”

L found himself back in a loophole, so utterly confused, yet he knew Y/N was Kira. What was stopping him from detaining him? He disregarded his feelings for him, the slight attraction that grew for Y/N each day was starting to get to him.

The dance of words and gestures became a delicate balance between exposing his true intentions and maintaining his innocence.

“Funny how Kira seems to have a knack for timing, isn’t it? Almost as if they have insider information..” Y/N spoke casually

As L’s piercing gaze lingered on Y/N, a playful smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, hidden behind his facade of innocence. He knew damn well that he had L’s attention, and he relished in the thrill of the game they played, each step drawing them together.

“Well Ryuzaki?” Y/N began, his tone teasing. “I must admit, once again your suspicions are certainly flattering. You tend to love a good mystery, especially when it's directly in front of you.”

L’s expression remained stoic, but a hint of amusement flickered in his eyes. “Flattery will get you nowhere, Y/N.” He retorted. “But I must admit, you do have a certain charm to you..”

Y/N couldn’t help but chuckle softly, arms crossed over his chest. “I’m well aware of my charms.” He replied. “But it seems you’re the one caught in my web of intrigue. Tell me, detective, are you enjoying the chase as much as I am?”

L’s lips quivered into a half-smile, a rare display of amusement. “You’re certainly full of surprises, Y/N.” He admitted.

‘Closed for the World Coronation Series Final’

Misty put the sign on the outside of the gym door as soon as her final challenger left the building, locking up behind them with a satisfying click.

Weekly Challenger Quota be damned, she was not missing this.

She managed to tinker with the cords and inputs and was able to use the gym Jumbotron to stream the match, thankful for the ability to hop in the pool and swim some laps when the nervous tension got to be too much to handle.

This whole series was going to be the death of her at this rate, watching Ash battle his way to the finals while giving her a heart attack at every turn. Leon was going to be a challenge; Misty had honestly never seen someone with a battle style and passion so similar to Ash’s, but she believed in him.

If anyone could take Leon down, it was Ash Ketchum.

“Charizard is unable to battle! The victory goes to Ash!”

“He won…” she gasped in a whisper to herself, her eyes, wide and unblinking, focused on the screen.

“We now have ourselves a new Champion! From the Kanto region, born in Pallet Town, Ash Ketchum!”

“He won,” she said again, a grin slowly stretching across her face as the reality sank in. “He won!” she cheered jumping to her feet and, scooping Psyduck into her arms, spun him around the platform, cheering, laughing, her eyes welling with tears as Ash scooped Pikachu into his arms and spun him around in exactly the same way, hugging him to his chest.

“Wow, he actually did it,” one of her sisters said somewhere behind her, and she turned around to see them all at the edge of the pool, watching as well. She wondered briefly how long they had been there; she didn’t even notice them come in.

Back on the screen, the crowd cheered, confetti fell and fireworks blasted into the air.

The camera zoomed onto Ash and Pikachu’s laughing faces as they celebrated together, and a warm rush of love and pride ran down Misty’s spine, one, singular thought repeating like an echo through her brain at the sight. Grinning, she turned to Psyduck.

“Let’s go find him.”
