I know I haven’t posted in a while but I’m picky with what I watch T-T

But as the title says, this is about Child of Kamiari Month!!

So I just randomly found it while looking on Netflix for something to watch!! It’s such a cute movie and I love the animation!!

I really love the dynamic between Kanna, Shiro and Yasha!! Especially Kanna and Yasha!! I love the enemies to friends who have complete faith in one another and I really feel like this movie shows that!!

Obviously I cried during it, but it honestly is cute and touching and you can understand Kanna’s feelings and why she reacted the way she did!!! I also love how the story kinda shows that the death of her mother affected everything in her life, and severely at that too. I feel like we don’t realize how something as big as that can affect even the little things in our lives. Things we normally wouldn’t notice change in.

10/10 Love it, but every show I write about has that rating T-T

Also apparently (of the view reviews I found) people didn’t like it cause it was boring and predictable. Which I can understand, but I think it’s a sweet movie. As well, I think the message is good!!! Like, life is always giving curveballs and sucky cards, but sometimes finding even one thing to help push you forwards helps!!

Child of kamiari month is a delightful film, the final death of the fake God is something that got me hard on the feels man. It's about Kanna and how she continues on with her love for running even tho who introduced that love to her is no longer alive and how she copes with it.

For Aro Movie Monday, Child of the Kamiari Month! It recently came out on Netflix and it centers on the themes of family, grief and friendship. The main charcter (Kanna)’s mother dies and about a year later she is given the role of Idaten, who has to gather food offerings for the gods of the Izumo region. There is no romance, asides from the main character’s parents, but even that’s not really mentioned much.

Child of Kamiari Month Anime Film Hits Netflix on February 8, 2022

  The Child of Kamiari Month anime film opened in Japan on October 8, and now it's time to look ahead to its streaming release abroad. Netflix has the rights to this one, and plans to bring it to streaming audiences starting on February 8, 2022

    Takana Shirai (assistant animation director of Children of the Sea), who has a grandmother born in Shimane, serves as the director of Child of Kamiari Month, along with animation producer Tetsuro Satomi (Ninja Batman), storyboards by Tomomi Mochizuki (Ocean Waves), and character designers from Haruka Sagawa (Happy-Go-Lucky Days). 

  The film's story focuses on Kanna (CV: Aju Makita), a girl who can no longer face her beloved "running" after her mother's passing. One day, a rabbit named Shiro (Maaya Sakamoto), who is a shinshi (a messenger of gods), and a boy named Yasha (Miyu Irino), an oni (ogre) boy, appear at her. Kanna crosses the boundary between people and gods, and is invited into Izumo.

  The inspiration for the film comes from Kamiarizuki (the month when there are gods), which is another name for October in the lunar calendar in the old Izumo region (now Shimane prefecture). The tale pulls from the mythology that gods from all over Japan gather at the Izumo Taisha Shrine during Kamiarizauki. In the other areas in Japan, it is called Kannazuki (the month when there are no gods).

Child of Kamiari Month: il film d’animazione uscirà l’8 ottobre, ecco il nuovo trailer

Svelata una nuova locandina per l’originale lungometraggio nato dalla mente di Toshinari Shinohe.

Diffuso un terzo trailer di “Child of Kamiari Month” (Kamiari no Kodomo), che fissa come nuova data di debutto del film d’animazione l’8 ottobre 2021. 

L’originale pellicola Finanziata da Cretica Universal, attraverso tre campagne di crowdfunding, doveva approdare nelle sale giapponesi lo scorso anno, ma come tante altre produzioni è poi stata rimandata a causa dell’emergenza Covid-19.

Assieme al video, che anticipa brevemente il tema musicale del film, intitolato “Kanna” e interpretato dalla cantautrice Miwa (Flying Witch, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), è stata pubblicata anche una nuova locandina ufficiale.

Kanna perde il suo amore per la corsa dopo la morte della madre. Il fortuito incontro con un piccolo messaggero degli dei la porterà a dirigersi verso Izumo, la città in cui secondo la leggenda ogni ottobre si riuniscono tutte le divinità del Giappone. Durante il suo viaggio, la ragazza farà anche la conoscenza di un giovane oni.

Nato dal soggetto originale di Toshinari Shinohe, il progetto è seguito da Tetsuro Satomi (direttore rappresentativo di LIDEN FILMS) in qualità di produttore d’animazione e da Kazuya Sakamoto (She and Her Cat -Everything Flows-), accreditato come direttore della creazione.

Il comparto delle animazioni è supervisionato da Takana Shirai, a cui si deve il concept originale, mentre il design finale dei personaggi è ad opera di Haruka Sagawa. La sceneggiatura è curata da Ryuuta Miyake e Tetsurou Takita.

 A animação acompanha Kanna, uma garotinha que está lidando com o luto por ter perdido sua mão há menos de um ano. 

 Por mais que tenha vivido alguns anos de sua vida com ela, Kanna ainda descobre um segredo de sua mãe, que pode mudar sua relação com uma das coisas que mais gosta de fazer: correr.

Child of Kamiari Month Film Confirms Its October 8 Release in Japan

    The official website for the forthcoming original anime feature film Kamiarizuki no Kodomo / Child of Kamiari Month announced today that it is finally set to be released in 100 theaters across Japan on October 8, 2021. Also, the Liden Film-animated film's main visual and two-minute full trailer are revealed. Check them below.

    The film's story focuses on Kanna (CV: Aju Makita), a girl who can no longer face her beloved "running" after her mother's passing.   The protagonist Kanna's deceased mother, Yayoi Hayama, is confirmed to be played by Ko Shibasaki (Mika in 47 Ronin), and her father, Norimasa Hayama, who supports Kanna with his own hands, is voiced by Arata Iura (Mildrath in Dragon Quest: Your Story).

  Shibasaki says, "I believe this is a universal work even in today's turbulent world. I hope that both adults and children will be able to look forward to 'Child of Kamiari Month'." Then Iura adds, "'Child Kamiari Month' is not only a story of a family, but also a journey to the origin of Japan through the myth of Izumo. Please come and see it at the theater."
