TIL that ノンケ (nonke) is a colloquial word for a heterosexual person.

After all the numerous Japanese BL/QL shows that I have watched, I couldn't believe that it was the first time I encountered this word. And damn it was used so aptly in Ayaka chan wa Hiroko senpai ni koishiteru that I burst out laughing everytime she said it. I am already in love with Hiroko senpai.

Not only do we get a lesbian who is fully integrated into the LGBTQ+ community along with various styles and representation of the community but we also get a semi-masc FL who is just *chef's kiss*

Kamiarizuki no Kodomo

The second trailer for Kamiarizuki no Kodomo was released on the film's official website. Kou Shibasaki and Arata Iura have joined the cast as Yayoi Hayama and Norimasa Hayama, respectively, according to the trailer. In addition to the ensemble, the video includes Miwa's "Kanna," the film's major theme. On October 8, Kamiarizuki no Kodomo will make its Japanese theatrical debut.

Child of Kamiari Month Film Confirms Its October 8 Release in Japan

    The official website for the forthcoming original anime feature film Kamiarizuki no Kodomo / Child of Kamiari Month announced today that it is finally set to be released in 100 theaters across Japan on October 8, 2021. Also, the Liden Film-animated film's main visual and two-minute full trailer are revealed. Check them below.

    The film's story focuses on Kanna (CV: Aju Makita), a girl who can no longer face her beloved "running" after her mother's passing. One day, a rabbit named Shiro (Maaya Sakamoto), who is a shinshi (a messenger of gods), and a boy named Yasha (Miyu Irino), an oni (ogre) boy, appear at her. Kanna crosses the boundary between people and gods, and is invited into Izumo. .

  The protagonist Kanna's deceased mother, Yayoi Hayama, is confirmed to be played by Ko Shibasaki (Mika in 47 Ronin), and her father, Norimasa Hayama, who supports Kanna with his own hands, is voiced by Arata Iura (Mildrath in Dragon Quest: Your Story).

  Shibasaki says, "I believe this is a universal work even in today's turbulent world. I hope that both adults and children will be able to look forward to 'Child of Kamiari Month'." Then Iura adds, "'Child Kamiari Month' is not only a story of a family, but also a journey to the origin of Japan through the myth of Izumo. Please come and see it at the theater."

Aniplex of America Opens Ticket Sales for Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] THE MOVIE I. presage flower

Aniplex of America opened ticket sales for the nationwide theatrical release of Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel [Heaven's Feel] THE MOVIE I. presage flower. There will be a special one-night only premiere on Friday, November 3rd at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The movie will feature Japanese voice acting and English subtitles, and the premiere will have a special talk show with guest appearances.

There will be showings of Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] THE MOVIE I. presage flower at later dates at other theaters as well. A full list of theater locations and dates can be found on the movie’s official website.

Synopsis:

“If I became a bad person, would you be able to forgive me?” The boy wished to protect the girl. That was his thought. 10 years after the Holy Grail War—a battle waged by Masters and Servants over the wish-granter, the Holy Grail—another war breaks out in Fuyuki City. Shirou Emiya—the adopted son of Kiritsugu Emiya, a participant of the previous Holy Grail War—resolves to fight, carrying out Kiritsugu's dying wish. There's a young girl by Shirou's side who's in love with him—Sakura Matou. Every morning, she goes to Shirou's house to make breakfast and dinner for him, bringing kindness into the life of a boy utterly alone in the world.
