I do question if AJ is supposed to be "clothed" or not. Because I have seen people draw him like "out of armor." But the question is...

is this armor... or is this just the anatomy of an angel / devil? after all, the original devil kazuya was naked, too.

It's just that Devils used to be furry beasts, but they were changed to be more "hardened," their body parts resembling armor than being soft and hairy.

As Devil's "arm" doesn't look like a gauntlet like Jin wears, but it looks like it's morphed into his body, as if trying to transform his entire body like that. This change from furry to hardened skin was likely to make them appear "tougher". And given that Devil's arms look like this, but True Devil Kazuya and Angel Jin's bodies look like it... it leads to me to believe they are indeed Nakey, and their bodies are just Like That.

A Sloth Bear aka the animal that looks like it's got maybe a single brain cell and never uses it. Red Panda Darlings. Sting Rays because they were massive; there were even bigger ones I couldn't get pictures of. A kangaroo that was mean-mugging everyone. Then my brand new stuffed animal that I still need to name.
