Recently on Twitter I scrolled through a japanese tweet about Kamen Rider, and basically I just had time to see a picture of Brain with Humagear ears before I registered what had happened. I looked at the tweet properly, and saw there was also a picture of Yuuto from Den-O and Tachibana from Blade. For a thing called "Kamen Rider Outsiders".

I had to know what this was about XD

The KR wiki told me it's a series that's a sequel to a "Kamen Rider Gemns" short video, itself a sequel to a Kamen Riders Gemns mini-series. Starring Dan Kuroto and, like, Lovelica.

So obviously I had to watch all that. Thoughts under a cut, because it's all very silly XD

1) KR Gemns - The Presidents I hate Gai and I would have loved to see him die of stress so Kuroto could properly resurrect XD I was SO happy to see Kuroto again, and it reminded me of this post saying that Iwanaga Tetsuya is "such an accomplished individual" but his legacy will be "playing a complete fucking psychopath that gets buck ass naked and screams in the woods on a kids action show" like yes that's all we love about Kuroto. And his dad showing up telling him he should never have been born ? Power move. I loved it. Chronicle is still so cool. Honestly it was insane, and pointless, and I really like it. I haven't watched any KR in months (or has it been more than a year now ?), and that was a delightful way to come back.

2) KR Genms - Smart Brain and the 1000 % Crisis I wanted Lovelica to have more role ToT And use his power ToT (But I guess Suwabe Junichi is a bit expensive for just one joke^^) That said, he was amazing and I LOVED seeing him again. At first I was afraid that Gai would end up winning his fight against Kuroto, but I kept thinking "Kuroto is an insanely popular character, they can't have him lose TO GAI ??" and indeed Kuroto won ^o^ I was cheering for him the whole episode. I SQUEED when Smart Queen appeared at the end >o< At first it was obvious she was a Smart Lady of some sort, and then she had the phone <3

3) KR Outsiders Episode 0 I really enjoyed the repeat gag of Kuroto looking for a charge station, fainting, and being charged by a random woman who finds him. Seeing Mari again made me so happy >o< I hadn't recognized the actress as Smart Queen, but as Mari she really was the same as in Faiz >o< Also glad to see the Orphenochs are still alive and well, somehow. Smart Queen's henshin was so cool >o< I love Kuroto from the bottom of my heart but I was kind of cheering for her and I was sad to see her disappeear so fast T-T

Episode 1 Looking for information I had seen that Asakura was a character for Outsiders, and I was SO looking forward to that. The only Hagino Takeshi character I like XD When he's presented as a person who doesn't kill, I was like... Asakura what happened to you, did you NOT kill your parents in this world ?? He was also super protective of his brother and I was all "Asakura I remember you feeding your brother to your giant evil snake in the previous world". Literally his whole character was that he's the rider who kills people for fun XD I loved that as soon as he gets his memories from the previous world, he decides that yes, that's the real him, and he proceeds to murder the guy who betrayed him with a broken mirror shard. That was so brutal^^ Everything about this episode was amazing, and Daiki was a great cherry on top <3

Episode 2 I watched like two episodes of KR Saber before giving up so I guess Outsiders spoiled me a bit. BUT thanks to that I discovered Ren, a really cute dual-swords-wielding wind ninja rider, so I'm kind of motivated to continue Saber now XD I loved his relationship with Desast, even though I knew neither of them I got a bit teary-eyed ToT Obviously, I also loved seeing Horobi ^o^ I don't remember what happened to him but I thought he survived in Zero-One ? Yet here Foundation X seems to have brought him back ?? Mystery. I thought it was very in-character for him to side with Zein, though I admit in this episode I started to get really confused about what's going on. Like what's Ark's goal, what's Zein's goal ? Who's on whose side, and why, and how ? I was glad to see Nico's back too >o< And she still has her Chronicle gashat !! I hope she transforms and beats everyone, as she does.

I haven't found episode 3 yet, and the tweet I saw was promoting episode 4 so I think it's not out yet. I can't wait >o< I started this whole thing to see Brain, so I'm still waiting XD

Cobra Kai Character as the Doctor Riders from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid

Miguel Diaz as Kamen Rider Ex-Aid

Eli Moskowitz/Hawk as Kamen Rider Brave

Robby Keene as Kamen Rider Snipe

Demetri Alexopolous as Kamen Rider Lazer

Kenny Payne as Kamen Rider Genm

I feel these characters will fit as these doctor riders as they each fit with them in some way, only ify on Demetri as Lazer, as Lazer is a more laid back and more of a trickster character unlike Demetri but hey I wanted him here. Also was stuck on Genm/Dangerous Zombie but I put Kenny as Silver is Chronos and Chronos and Genm are father/son so I just put the psycho teacher/student relationship with them. Lastly I added the newly introduced Kwon as Paradx as similar to Parado he just wants to fight and have fun

As for Sam and Tory as both don't really fit as Kamen Rider Poppy maybe Sam but I don't know. So I just put Sam as the Kamen Rider Chronicle Player, basically she is Nico so she too will be Snipe as she became a version of Snipe in the stage play

Also for anyone who watched Kamen Rider Ex-Aid I love the Snipe and Nico relationship and I feel Robby and Sam can have a relationship similar of that of Snipe and Nico where it can be seen as romantic or sibling like it. As despite how much Nico annoys him Taiga is protective of Nico and always looks out for her.
