sorry y'all no report progress this weekend i'm finally taking the plunge into bodyshapes. they've come a long way since my last modern game (9 years ago EEP)

What better time than Pride Month to launch an inclusivity project? Basically EveryBody is genderfree basics for a variety of bodies. It's not absolutely every body, I'll admit. There aren't any athletic/bodybuilder shapes, for instance. I focused more on trans, androgynous, and fat bodyshapes.

Basically EveryBody will be an ongoing project, beyond just Pride Month. I'll be doing an assortment of genderfree clothes...everyday, PJ's, swim, gym, etc in this series. If you make meshes and want to join in, I'll be releasing some new WSO's soon, and doing some tutorials about boobing and de-boobing. I also need help with something. More on that in a moment.

This is an exceptionally, absurdly long post, even by my standards. There's a lot going on here. If you just want the new stuff in EAxis sizes, scroll down to the downloads, but I hope you're at least curious and will read on.

When I first imagined doing some early version of this project, I went looking for bodyshapes that were fat AND trans. I found basically nothing. I asked if anyone knew of fat trans shapes, and only got likes. Hmm. As a nonbinary person who's also small/mid fat, I felt like I needed to fix this. I didn't feel like I could do it alone. I had help from @hypersaline, but they've had to leave the project. (I hope you're ok!!) I'll be properly introducing two new bodyshapes (Trans Momma Lisa and Trans Melodie9's Fat Male)...well...umm....when they're ready. I'll either need to learn how to make showerproof skintones or hope that someone else comes along to help. (If you want to help, PLEASE let me know.) The two new bodyshapes will get their own post(s?) whenever that happens. For now, you can still download the first clothing offerings for them...you just won't have anything but Everyday yet. Sorry. Undies and other stuff will happen over the next few months.

There are a whole bunch of other options here too though, including EAxis shapes. I've also created two new twists on existing bodyshapes. Momma Lisa Chestbound is the standard Momma Lisa shape, but with a flatter chest. In the other direction, Melodie's Fat Male can now have breasts, if they/you like. I'm prioritizing completion for the two new fat trans shapes, but once that's done, I'll hopefully get these completed too. MLCb will be getting binders in the near future though! And MFMBr will get at least one bra soon! I promise!

Anyway...what do I have for you today?

A tee and jeans seemed like the ideal start for a basics project. Few TS2 t-shirts are more iconic than @fanseelamb's pj tee, separated by @linasims2. They're available for almost every EAxis age and both sexes...and now way more!

The ages and bodyshapes in this project are: Teen: EAxis and Androgyny Adult AFAB: EAxis, Androgyny, Trans Melodie's Fat Male, AFTr, Momma Lisa, and Momma Lisa Chestbound Adult AMAB: EAxis, Androgyny, Trans Momma Lisa, AMTr, Melodie's Fat Male, and Fat Male w/Breasts Elder: EAxis and Androgyny

The adult bodyshape content will show up for elders, but the meshes will be the same. ALL adults will have pregmorphs, and EVERYONE will have fat morphs.

I've also edited the EAxis AM, AF, TF, and EF meshes to reduce clipping. I improved the breast shape on TF-EF too. The mesh edits have the same file names as trapping's and DeeDee's originals. Just let mine overwrite them, if you already have those.

The tees come in fanseelamb/trapping/EAxis' original three colors, these nine recolors by @mikexx2, and three new rainbow patterns.

Swatch:

The jeans are all ten of @simsontherope's original colors, with sneakers by @missrubybird on a mesh by @theslyd. The jeans and sneakers were initially 4t2 converted by @memento-sims. No swatch, sorry.

Oh yeah! I was surprised I couldn't find something like this already. There are some shirts with ties, but not with bowtie. Love me some male formal stuff ❤

My premades neighborhood(s) is up and running as it is priority to finish S2BO. I'm going to make custom maps for AU, Lushland, and Arda, the medieval hood. So I'll have to install Sims4City for that.

I do wish I had better internet to just package up all the CC I had collected over the years and just move them to the new PC. It'd be a lot easier.

The Company looks at the end result. An assistant, someone expendable, was killed versus the head of a business. They don't find this equal. Corey had Cason murdered, not killed him in self-defense. Cason could have served as the Company's kingpin in prison. Now that opportunity has been lost. They frown upon avenues lost because of personal issues. Assets versus lives, they'll take assets every day.

Edited mesh included. This will work with the original colors, however, I have replaced the default blue from Dr Pixel's original car with the one you see in the first pic. Mesh changes: Moved the front license plate to closer resemble the position that front license plates are usually located on these type of cars. Pulled the lip of the convertible top out of the interior wall of the car. Spelled "Bel Air" correctly in the filename & description. That's it! This was a surprisingly cromulent mesh for being from 2007! Texture changes: Added shading & better hubcaps. The paint is now slightly less reflective & more sparkly (yes, okay, this car did come in some matte colors BUT when you see that sparkly paint you just think 50s, so it works). The leather seats now have (gasp) a leather texture. The chrome is now all the same shade of chrome. The license plate is in Simlish. (It says "Simtown Classic Auto L57-CBA", if you're wondering.) Color Theory: I went down an entire car-nerd rabbithole for accurate exterior paint colors. What I ended up (see the paint swatch) with is a little more aged/yellowed than it probably would have been back in the day, but these are Old Cars. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find good info on actual preserved interiors/seats, they're either gross or restored with new upholstery, so I went with what felt right or what I saw done in restorations.

You Get: 30 car colors. 15 with just the chrome accents on the butt wings, & 15 with the accent color. 10 interior colors that are on their own recolor channel so you can mix&match.

Caio Love Myself Pajamas

So Priscilla requested the Satin Robe from this set by Caio as part of their last requests on Patreon and I decided I wanted to do all of them, and I'm finally finished! (With Caio's part, anyways... Should I do Serenity's next?)

There are four pairs of pajamas, only for AF right now but I could do TF/EF in the future maybe. I made the tops and bottoms into fullbody pajamas because that's just a personal preference but they'd be easy to separate so I could do that too sometime.

Everything has morphs, is compressorized, and includes a swatch. Everything is in one rar but in individual folders so you can delete anything you don't want. I of course am obligated to say that these aren't perfect. I definitely started running out of steam (as why I decided to not do the choker in the end) so as always, please feel free to point out any issues that I missed I won't be upset 🤗 I love creating, but a patient person I am not!

❗❗ 8/11/23 zip has been updated, I made some changes to the normals on the satin robe because of an issue @kalux-sims pointed out to me. It's still not 100% but it's better! Download and let replace!

I made these recolors of @kalux-sims' ep13 dress conversion a long time ago and never uploaded them. I went looking for previews and only found ones I took showing me all the toddler dress textures that stretched funny. So, I deleted them all. The child dresses are top only and after much serching I found the mesh where moyokean put shoes on it but I'm too lazy to make all new textures at the moment to use them instead.

There's the swatches. All the textures except the gradients are from CreativeFabrica. I made the gradients. Meshes included, files sorted according to cf or pf and by design.

i wasn't too sure about how these had turned out at first, but after seeing them in game they actually grew on me, so here they are. thank you @gvaudoiin-tricou for encouraging me to finish them and share! i hope you like them :-)

since this is essentially a mash-up of several people's work (see credits), frankenstein-ed together, it feels pretty appropriate for the theme.... 🧟‍♂️🔪🦇🩸👽 consider this a tiny late simblreen treat, hehe 🎃

these separate tops are for AF only*, since that's what i needed in my game (but the TF/EF meshes should be easy to copy-paste onto) [edit: *added links to an AM version as well]

they are categorized as everyday, sleepwear and athletic (not sure who would want to sleep or exercise in fishnets but hey i'm not judging. also it's really easy to remove them if you like, since they're a separate texture from the shirt)

compressorized, tooltipped, and the files are labeled clearly. the swatch and previews are included in the rar file.

full disclosure, this mesh has a few issues i don't currently have the skills to fix: it has no fat morph (😑), and there is some clipping in places depending on how the sim moves, and a few dark spots (not super noticeable with the black texture, thankfully). if anyone feels inspired to fix the mesh or add morphs, i'll happily update this post and the linked file.

If things were better, I could be all "Happy Pride!" here, but Pride Month is tough this year. I'm not happy. I'm sad, scared, and angry. Right-wing American politicians are doing everything they can to endanger trans people. The main focus of their attacks is trans kids. There are all kinds of lies being spread about what it means for children to be transgender and what gender affirming care for them looks like. Like all children, trans kids are figuring themselves out. Supportive, compassionate parents understand this and let them dress how they want. That's what's at the heart of my first Pride Month post this year.

Today's download lets ALL children wear ALL EAxis children's clothes. I did this to go along with all of my child CC being CU from now on. (Well, from a month or two ago on.) I have more to say about real life trans kids, so please read on after the download.

It's very simple. All EAxis kids clothes are now unisex. Many of them should have been from the start. What's masculine about a dark red Western shirt? And why can't a boy wear pink if he likes it? All kids should be allowed to express themselves how they like.

There are similar mods out there, but mine doesn't require any special installation (just put it in Downloads) and there's an All-In-One option if you have UC or all EP's and SP's. I got so much help from @goingsimcrazy and @potentialfate-sims while I was working on this. Thanks again, both of you!!

Note: DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU USE DEFAULT REPLACEMENTS THAT CHANGE THE MESH. It works fine with replacements that only change the texture.

'Nother note: Several EP's don't add any children's clothes, so there isn't a package for those EP's in the pick-n-choose version. Nothing's missing except for the xmas elf costumes, because...I hate them. Sorry. They're mostly unisex already, I think. I have hiders for them in my game.

So back to my rant about trans kids...

Anti-trans propaganda will try to tell you that evil queers are out to convert your kids. That's a lie. We don't want to make cis kids trans. We want trans kids to live to be trans adults. You can't make a cis kid trans any more than you can make a trans kid cis. Kids are who they are. I was once a femmy little boy in an AFAB body, roughhousing in a princess dress and happier playing with boys than girls most of the time. My parents, and everyone else, saw it and called me a tomboy...despite the princess dress. I'm very lucky to have had parents who let me express myself and didn't care if I ran around in the woods, as long as I took my tights off first. Trying to suppress or change kids just makes them miserable, and sometimes miserable kids die. It breaks my heart that there are parents who would rather have a dead child than a trans child.

If I could get one message to everyone this month, and have it sink in, it would be that NO ONE is doing gender confirming surgery on children. (Unless they're intersex and get mutilated without consent, in the name of conformity.) Even teens, who may be on puberty blockers or other hormones, don't have access to gender affirming surgeries. In America, it takes years and lots of money to have these surgeries. It's not something that's done lightly or on a whim.

That's an aspect of anti-trans rhetoric that bugs me deeply, "What if it's just a phase?" It almost never is. Gender affirming surgeries have some of the highest patient satisfaction ratings of any surgery. Higher than hip replacement and many other completely accepted surgeries.

Surgery is, again, beside the point when we're talking about trans kids. Say a nine year old realizes they're trans. All that changes is their clothes and hairstyle, and maybe their name. As they get a little older, they might be put on puberty blockers. Puberty blockers were developed for cisgender children who start puberty too soon. All these medications do is delay it. Once they're stopped, puberty starts back up. If the child changes their mind, it's as simple as not taking the blockers anymore.

A related truth is that trans people aren't the only ones who get gender affirming care. A cis woman who gets breast implants and a cis man taking testosterone for "low T" are both receiving gender affirming care. They don't face the stigma or roadblocks that a trans woman getting breast implants or a trans man taking testosterone face. I don't hear about American politicians trying to outlaw Viagra or Brazilian butt lifts or any of the other things cis people are allowed to do to feel "more like a woman" or "more like a man". Why should it be different for trans people?

I'll try not to go off on a tangent about how transitioning while young leads to "passing" (looking cisgender) more easily, but it does. And that can mean safety and acceptance. Passing shouldn't matter, but it often does. Forcing a young person, especially a trans girl, to go through puberty twice is cruel and potentially dangerous.

Going back to my personal experience for a moment, the idea of female puberty and "becoming a woman" horrified me as a kid. If I'd been offered the option of puberty blockers, I'd probably have taken them. I started developing breasts when I was nine and was forced to wear bras when I was ten. My adolescent and teen years were pretty horrible overall, and gender issues were part of that. I had the "not like the other girls" feeling, but knew by then that I wasn't 100% boy either. Maybe that would have been different if I hadn't gone through puberty with estrogen. I think sometimes about the man I might have been if I was younger and grew up in a world with more trans awareness. I had no idea about genders beyond the binary back then, but I recognized that there was something boy-ish about me. My friends, family, and other people saw it too. I was who I was, who I am. I'm so very lucky that my parents didn't try to force me to be girlier. Those years were hard enough.

Childhood is hard, and repressive, oppressive adults make it so much harder. I hope all the trans kids out there either have support at home or find it where they can. I wish we lived in a world where we could all just accept each other and live our lives. I want everyone to be safe and feel loved.

I could go on and on about various trans issues, but I think I've made my points about trans kids. Respect and protect them. They're valid and they deserve to grow up to be who they know they are.

Yeah! You can move everyone out, use the Lot Compressor to clean it of Sim references, and then package it up and install it to your newer hood to plop down. This tutorial here (method two) is what I’ve used.

One of my favorite houses I've ever decorated (and maybe built?) got corrupted and I had to bulldoze it. I'm frustrated about it, but my attitude toward that has always been that their house burned down and they need to rebuild or move or whatever. It's really hard to let this one go though. I had plans for who would inherit it and everything.

I haven't extracted a lot in forever. Is there a safe way to "clean" an old version from a save before it got corrupted?
