Did lamb become monogamous after marrying Narinder
I don't think that one can just "become monogamous", can they..?
Anyway, the facts are, Lamb is in a monogamous relationship with Narinder and he doesn't plan to change that. He is content with his current relationship and he doesn't need anyone else to date.
#lamb really just said no more relationship with followers#kallamar can have them all tbh#kallamar WOULD do that if im being honest-#lamb may have always been monogamous in fact#lamb dating followers is a very weird thing as it is#pretty dubious if you ask me#lamb may have been trying to make himself feel better this way or something. not very good no#sorry im not very polyamorous myself i didnt do very research

Headcanons! Cult of the lamb
Leshy, Heket, Shamura, Kallamar, Narinder and The lamb.
General:
(this will be in follower form for the bishops)
Leshy
Dude is definetly not happy upon being indoctrinated into the cult.
Like first he gets killed by the lamb and NOW he has to follow their commands? Yeah to say the least he might be a bit annoyed at first.
When you first introduce yourself, he might be a little skeptical mainly because he was a bishop so what were you gonna do? Make fun of him? Pull a ''prank'' Just because you could?
Surprisingly, no! You were kind, just trying to get to know him better, and trying to get him to know the cult a little better.
He is forever greatful if you help him around the place.
Romantic:
If Leshy smells anything he thinks is something like a flower, then he might try and guide you towards them.
Mainly because it might be difficult picking them, when he cant see where the hell he's going.
9.5 / 10 hugs and you cant convince me otherwise.
He might be a bit moist because of all the stuff growing on him but he definetly smells nice. (or atleast i headcanon it as such).
He can and will be a living scarf if he REALLY craves your attention.
He will just snuggling up to you in the middle of whatever you were doing.
Heket
General:
Heket was not the happiest when she awoke in the lambs cult to say the least.
Allthough she was hungry, (cant blame her tbh).
When you approached her and offered her a couple of berries as a little welcome gift you definetly became one of her favorites.
She probably didn't even want to try and care for someone that isn't her siblings, at this point.
She especially appreceates if you basically speak for her, mainly because you can get to the point (and the words) alot faster then her.
Heket will do absolutely anything to avoid you or anyone else finding out anything that embarrases her that isnt known, like her losing to the lamb.
She enjoys all meals with either you or her siblings.
Romantic:
If you pick her up in front of others for no reason you are getting the frog equivilent of a bitch slap.
She does still have a reputation to uphold to prevent the followers from being too cruel even as a member of the cult.
Okay but seriously, Heket is basically your knight in shining armor.
Someones bothering you? just tell Heket, and she will take care of it.
She loves it when you bring her snakcs while waiting for a meal to be done whenever you cook.
Can and will pass you notes of what she wants you to say to someone, if she's really annoyed bcause of something they did.
Might be dissapointed if you rephrase it, to not be as rude as what she wrote.
Shamura
General:
Them always seeking knowledge was definetly one of the things that allowed you to bond with them quickly.
You telling them about things they might find interesting, and them sharing some of the things they remember.
Shamura likes it when you remind them of small things they might forget.
They also like sharing stories of their past with you, or giving you small gifts.
Not that they cant defend themselves against other cult members who might be looking for payback (they probably can't).
But you talking some sense into the cultists heads definetly does not go unoticed.
Romantic:
Shamura probably does like cuddles, especially when comforting them.
Might forget that you gave them something and try to return it to you.
If you remind them, then well they'll probably feel a bit ashamed that they forgot one of your gifts.
Please comfort Shamura if this happens.
(sorry i couldn't come up with much for them Shamura fans).
Kallamar
General:
Kallamar is a very nervous person so you showing them kindness was definetly unexpected.
you being nice? To him, and this quickly? You must be plotting something, he thought. but when you continuesly kept showing kindness and defended him from any rude cult members, he quickly realized that it wasn't the case.
he likes it alot when you reassure him that everythings gonna be fine. This man isn't much for standing up for himself. So if you do stand up for him, when other cultists come to do whatever they'd wanna do, he'll be very thankful.
If you went through the trouble of learning sign language just to communicate with him easilier his heart basically melts (not literally though).
Romantic:
He loves holding your hand. he likes the comfort of you being around.
expect him to be with you for a majority of the time.
will hug you whenever he feels nervous if he is allowed to (usually he is).
If he's trying to talk to you about something personal he'll usually use sign language with you when alone.
Kallamar spends so much time with you that half of his stuff is probably at your place.
Narinder
General:
He was not letting anyone even try and converse with him, after his indoctrination.
Not like people were gonna try anyway, considering what he tried to do.
But theres always someone different, and that just so happened to be you.
You kept trying to start a conversation, pestering him untill he finally tried to actually speak with you.
He wasn't very happy when he finally did start talking.
Despite that you just kept coming back.
Soon he actually started trying to engage the conversations, not really having much else to do.
Small conversation became a small friendship.
Soon Narinder found himself actively trying to spend time with you , and you were more then happy to do so.
Atleast the place wasn't as bad now for Narinder.
Romantic:
This dude is for close to anything but PDA (Public displays of affection).
Will purr if you hug him.
Narinder will never admit it but he's a total cuddle bug when in private.
Will do anything to prevent the lamb from finding out because he already knows he's gonna get teased for eternity the second they find out.
May or may not actively seek you out if he's getting really needy for some cuddles.
Will have orange cat level stupid behavior if he somehow gets his hands on catnip.
The lamb / Lambert.
General:
upon first meeting you, for whatever reason you were wandering around the lands of the old faith, they immidietly asked if you wanted to become part of their cult.
Likes your dedication to the crown and the cult
If you're especially dedicated to the cult then they might read your mind (and might find out you're in love but who knows).
Definetly tries to become closer with you.
They might ask if you wanna go on walks to take a break from all the work.
If you have any problems then the lamb will be willing to do just about anything to help (not everything though).
Romantic:
The lamb definetly makes the first move.
They shower you in gifts, kisses and cuddles whenever they're not busy.
Will do a marriage ritiual as soon as you feel comfortable with it.
Will spend lots of time with you in their free time.
You're probably being put in charge of taking care of things whenever they go on crusades, mainly because they trust you the most.
Doesn't have alot of time when they're not working but they spend almost every second that they're not busy beside you
Expect surprise hugs.
Lots and lots of surprise hugs.
Alot of people are probably both jealous and happy for you because of you being with the lamb.
The lamb does not care because they got the most wonderful person in the world as their partner aka you <3.
(Hope you enjoyed my first ever headcannons)

Drew these a little while ago but I thought it’d be fun to finally post them anyway here’s my interpretation of all the bishops in their follower forms (i put them all in the regular cult member shirts but I think they’d actually wear something different)
Narinder
Has a bit of a love hate relationship with the lamb if you couldn’t tell (I’m a big fan of Narinder making cat noises) and also him and the lamb have an enemies to lovers arc FOR SURE. He takes out a lot of his anger by picking fights with other followers (ESPECIALLY his siblings) also takes on the role of executioner from time to time.
Leshy
Green worm man who causes problems on purpose and then falls in love with an orange/yellow cat👍 I also imagine he grows all sorts of different plants in his personal garden not just Camellia flowers.
Heket
my baby girl my queen my lovely frog wife whom I love she is the head chef but she also steals food from the kitchen aaaallllll the time. She gets very hungry very easily and also it’s her way of rebelling even if she can’t leave. She’s a surprisingly good cook. She can talk but barely and sometimes talking results in her coughing up blood so she’s learning sign language from another follower
Kallamar
He’s pretty pathetic tbh. He’s a good doctor but not super kind, he’d chastise and insult his patients a lot cause he’s still super upset and moody about what the lamb did. That is until followers started complaining to the lamb and the lamb intimidated him into behaving. Now he’s still moody and passive aggressive but less so, out of all his siblings he’s the most scared of the lamb. Can’t hear super well but he chooses not to listen most of the time anyway. Might also try learning sign language alongside Heket, as soon as they learn how they’d sign insults at each other until it devolves into a full on physical fight that the lamb has to break up.
Shamura
They actually get along very well with the lamb, they’ve made their peace with their fate and the fate of their siblings. Sometimes on rare occasions they will have long philosophical talks with the lamb. They did in fact ask to have an upper floor bedroom with a balcony for their house so they could be dramatic and brooding. They also adopted Webber as their child. Their friendship with the lamb might also be due to their very spotty memory.
The lamb gave all of them immortality necklaces they didn’t want to see them die again. Even if they weren’t gods anymore the lamb didn’t want to be the only one left who wore a godly crown. Most of the bishops are all still somewhat scared of the lamb. I imagine they eventually get used to them though.

I took a stab at drawing the goat's narinder (pupinder? Naripup?) And came up with this. Him being a samoyed just feels right to me. But tbh? I have NO CLUE what to do with the bishops (random ramblings below the cut)
So like. Pup narinder, I imagine him as being the bishop of life and light, and being just super sweet. And the thing is, I imagine he says pretty much the same stuff Narinder does, but the way he words it gives it an ENTIRELY different meaning.
"I still have need of you" -> implies that the lamb is a tool for Narinder to use. He can't throw them away just yet, because there is still some use left in them. Defines them by their usefulness
"I still require your services" -> puts more value on the goat's abilities to act if that makes sense. Acknowledges that the goat is a being that is capable of making decisions on its own and puts trust in the idea that it'll use its abilities to help him. Defines it by its autonomy.
i also imagine him talking about sacrifice in a much different way. Instead of seeing sacrifice as cashing in souls like currency, I feel like he'd see it as a mercy. "Why allow your followers to slowly work themselves to death, living in pain and fatigue until they give out, when you can offer them a smooth transition into the afterlife?"
Also because of this personality swap, the idea of him betraying his siblings out of pride doesn't make as much sense. What do I propose, then? Easy! As the bishop of light and life, he couldn't stand to see followers suffering for any slight against his siblings, so he took those in who needed respite. He offered an oasis to those unfaithful to his siblings, and when that happened, his siblings got PISSED because they saw that as him stealing their followers. So, they tried to confront him and take back their followers, only for narinder to defend his followers by maiming his siblings. This caused the others to chain him up in the gateway and either sacrifice or convert the rest of his followers.
Now, with all of this, I have several ideas for the bishops but can't really use them all.
Idea 1: Domain swap. Everything stays pretty much the same except for their domains (and consequently their colors). Heket would be plague, Leshy would be war, Shamura famine, and Kallamar chaos. (Honestly zero clue what to do with the colors OR crowns for that matter. Keep the same crowns? Crowns change colors, too??? -\('–')/-)
Idea 2: Species swap. They turn into slant-variants of each of their species (which changes their colors, too). Heket could be a frog, maybe Leshy is an isopod or something, Kallamar would be an octopus (duh), and Shamura could maybe be a bat?? Centipede?? (Thinkin of something that lives in a cave maybe. Scorpion?)
Idea 3: Domain inversion. This could work in tandem with the previous one but anyways. Idea being that their domains invert (just like Narinder's) which causes personality changes. Leshy could be the bishop of order, causing him to be a MASSIVE control freak who panics when the goat comes back (making him more cowardly like Kallamar). Heket could be the bishop of gluttony, causing her to give the goat more of the benefit of the doubt (making her more understanding like Shamura). Kallamar could be the bishop of vitality, seeing the goat as nothing more than an insignificant worm and underestimating its power (making him more assured like Leshy). Shamura could be the bishop of stagnation/sloth, dissuaded and distraught by the goat's challenge to the old faith (making them more vengeful like Heket).
Of the ideas, I'm most attached to the third. Plus with the personality swaps, their injuries could also swap. Heket could be think no evil since she was the most open-minded, Shamura could be see no evil because they were ignorant to the world around them, Leshy could be hear no evil since he refused to give anyone else a voice, and Kallamar could be speak no evil since he was a loudmouth.
What are we thinking, chat? Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?
Aside/edit: with idea #3 (which I'm more and more attached to as I write this), that could be interesting bcs it would recontextualize each bishops' patterns in their boss fights.
Take Kallamar for example. For the lamb, he is terrified of fighting them, which is seen when he pretty much just button mashes doing everything he can to keep that fuckin thang away from him. You can tell that he's panicking during the boss fight from how erratic his movement is. But in the goat's universe, Kallamar's fighting style could be indicative of his disregard for the goat's existence, moreso swatting him away like a pesky mosquito. Inversely, Leshy's fight with the lamb not only shows that he has no clue what the fuck he's doing, but that he doesn't think the lamb does, either. He doesn't even try to hit the lamb physically until well into the battle. For the goat, however, this could be out of fear. Leshy is terrified of the goat, trying as hard as possible to avoid it until he desperately resorts to smacking it around just to kill it. I know that none of this has any bearing on what we see of the goat in the lamb's cult, but it could help explain some of the confusion the goat experiences when it interacts with the lamb's bishops for the first time.

ohh my goodness can you pls pls pls do a brush tour?? i love ur art so so much its so cruncy >:]
Yes I can, I appreciate your interest!! I use paint tool sai 2 which is kind of archaic, but I've been drawing on a wacom pen and touch small + using paint tool sai since 2012 and I'm too stubborn to move onto something better. I actually only use three brushes so I've made a little drawing where I only use one brush per character to show the differences:
Gonna put the screenshots of the brush settings below the cut cause it got longer than I expected:
I drew my three big faves cause frankly I am sick of looking at kallamar and narinder's smug faces lmaoooo ANYWAY. GOING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, WE HAVE THE CHUNKY BRUSH. I use that brush for messily coloring things in, doing big blocky background shapes, or just adding texture to a drawing. It's my favorite brush to paint with but I have not....finished a painting for this blog yet...
Then for the crunchy brush, it's a tool I use half for lineart and half for coloring. I use it for stuff like changes in fur color/markings, drawing all the lines in the backgrounds I do, and finer details the chunky brush can't handle. It's also the lineart tool I use for my drawings where the lines are all on the inside of the chararacters but not the outside!
As for the smooth brush, this one only ever gets used for lines but it was created when I was so bored of my lineart tool I stopped drawing for a while. I wanted a calligraphy pen and had to work around SAI's limitations, so while it doesn't have that thin-thick angular effect that calligraphy pens have....I manually apply the pressure and it looks passable enough. I hope.
The brush settings are visible in the pics but uNFORTUNATELY I DO *NOT* remember where I got my stupid brush pack from. I literally downloaded the files before I was even a teenager but I *do* remember they're from deviantart. If anyone is for some reason kicking and screaming to acquire this ancient, crusty brush pack I'm sure I could throw it in a google drive
I have other useless information about my process if any of this is remotely helpful: for the anaglyph effect on my lines, I literally take a full 120 seconds to copy+paste two copies of my lineart, color it red and cyan, and then slightly move them up+down beneath the black lineart to get that 3dish effect. My flat backgrounds are just another sai preset texture, usually the checkerboard one cause it's swag. The rest of my brushes are just for utility or to fill in the gaps, that scroll bar leads to a bunch of empty space. They're not worth showing off just because they don't ever get used, or it's just like. The bucket tool. The select tool. A binary pen I never use. And lastly, for my usual lines, I actually go back and mess them up myself to get them to look more chaotic...my lines are usually smooth + even but it's so boring to look at and time consuming that I'm trying to unlearn that.
here's a wip of what my lines USUALLY look like with the smooth brush. You can see for the background I mostly used the chunky brush for shapes and then the crunchy brush for the finer lines! But yeah it takes forever to do smooth lines because I have nerve damage in my arm (it's why my stabilizer is maxed out...) and I refuse to use the line tool. In a professional setting I definitely make sure my lines are polished but this is just my goofy fanart blog and I want everything to look like it's been laced with crack.
I HOPE ANY OF THIS HELPS?? OR JUST SATES YOUR CURIOSITY, I try to not gatekeep the way I do my art so I have literally no secrets tbh

AUGHH I’ve requested like 3 things from you and honestly they NEVER disappoint so HERE I GO AGAIN!!!!!!!
Do you have any headcanons of aftercare routines for the bishops? (Aftercare as in after NSFW)
Thank you for the asks! Its nice to see that you and others are enjoying my content! If you guys want, you can tag yourselves with emojis so I know the difference between Anon's
Warnings: None, but technically NSFW
Aftercare with the bishops 🔞
Shamura
Is going to treat you like royalty tbh. Their love language is service, so it’s not surprising that when it comes to aftercare, they excel at it. Will have a bath made for you both, will have food and beverages handed to you when you wish, you will never lift a finger. But make sure you also give them some aftercare; they will melt like butter.
Kallamar
He tries his best! He will make you as comfortable as possible, but sometimes forgets that most people do want aftercare. Most of the time he remembers, but sometimes needs to be reminded before he falls asleep. He will do whatever you want but doesn’t really need aftercare himself. But he does like when you guys pillow talk, a lot.
Heket
Is well versed in whatever aftercare you need, even if you don’t know what you need or want. She feels like its her job to give you aftercare, as she is the one who is most dominant. She almost has a six sense for it and will be helping you relax and recover from a hard or soft session. Cuddles and a nice pillow talk and some strawberry flavored water is her favorite.
Leshy
You two split the aftercare about 50/50. He loves cuddling with you and getting clean after all is said and done. He also will do whatever you want for your half of the time. Leshy loves to get little platers of finger food so you both can pick at the plate and cuddle some more. He enjoys this just as much as the sex itself.
Bonus Narinder
At first didn’t get why aftercare was a thing, but after you showed him how much better you both felt after doing aftercare, he totally got it. Loves to take long showers with you as you bot clean each other (Sometimes starting another round lol). He then likes to lazily lay with you, making a fort of blankets almost like a nest for you two to sleep in.

Bishops and what they once were - Thoughts
Ive been looking through the cult of the lamb fandom wiki a bit while trying to come up with designs for the Fear AU, and looking at some ofthe speculations there of what the bishops are, I kept thinking about who I think from the basic enemy types around what the bishops could have been before the found the crowns.
Main one who started this rabbit hole was Leshy. A worm through and through, some type of bag worm. Because he mentions burrowing through the ground, the wiki read he could be one of the burrowing enemies like the spit or spike worm. But like, tbh, I think its basically 100% canon/confirmed he used to be a type of chaser worm.
These lil guys
In his boss fight he spawns them everywhere, he has the wood horns, the green bushy exterior, and in his big boss form, he has the same red eyes in the dark middle
Like this is not a theory or anything, i think this is just a fact right?
So, I might as well just look around and see what the other bishops could be.
Heket is also ridiculously easy I think. A big red hopping frog with wood sticking out of her back. She was formerly a type of hopper.
The color fits, the stuff sticking out of the back fits. The sharp fangs fit, the nose fits. This frog is a frog your honor! She also summons them in her fight after all, even as a short mini boss section.
Now Kallamar? Kallamar is where it gets more complicated.
Kallamar is a giant squid in game. He has ears, a pointy head, and many tentacles.
However, none of his areas appearing enemies, nor the main tick/leech/crab like enemies he summons really fit him appearance wise like how leshy and heket basically had something one to one.
We do have these guys, but aside from switching between being described as octopi or jellyfish, they dont really fit like a nail to a coffin like our previous ones.
However, there is 1 non enemy being that fits Kallamar way, way more, interestingly enough.
The literal small squid you can fish up in game.
With how much of a scaredy cat Kallamar is in canon, maybe him being the one bishop not from a more fight capable species might explain some things.
Shamura is marginally easier again. While actively a mix of various spider enemies you can face in Silk cradle, they most similarly fuse traits of blue and red spiders found there.
Blue for the purple coloration stretching out into the body and the fluffiness on the backside, red for Shamura's red hint and the stinger stuck to their backside. Being either pre crown seems highly plausible.
While technically not a bishop, I could speculate about Narinder and if he, Baal, Aym and their mum are truly just "normal cats", but thats more of a post for another time.
I do like though how you can find various beings in game that you can realistically tie back to what the bishops could have once been. At least I like to ramble about it.

First of all, I'm eating your art for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Delicious
Second, based on the gold skull comic, do you think some followers start flirting with Kallamar just to get an immortality necklace?
PLEASE you need more food groups!!!
And no, prior to the events of the comic, The cult en masse doesn’t really know of the existence of gold skull necklaces, and there was only one instance of a follower having the necklace, though we dont know who yet.
the followers that received them are sworn to secrecy. (Unsure how they get past the obvious no aging aspect)
part of me feels like nerfing the gold skull comic tbh, but I realize I can kill those followers in other creative ways (:

i think i sorta know how i want to build up each of the bishops/allure together ,,
Leshy and allure are the fun ones together,, leshy thinks hes finally found another person to "annoy" but in reality hes found his perfect spouse to match that energy of his and for a love of fighting to bond with them ? Allure often thinks he can be a bit too much ,,but they like his leadership when it comes to missionary parties being sent out ,, they think hes often misunderstood ,, probably the first person to understand him more properly than anyone else before ,,, still doesnt stop him from nagging allure by randomly tazing them in the waist or going "TAG" and burrowing himself under the dirt (WHICH IS AN UNFAIR POWERPOINT!!!!!!!) (<- allure textbubble)
Heket and allure are also a fun bunch :-] but theyre both more emotional than the realize ,, heket doesnt like opening up nor does allure so they sorta bonded in that,, allure likes that shes overprotective of small things such as insects or being a collector of stuff ,, they could probably name a billion things about her ,, heket just finds them cute tbh 😭 like yeah she CAN be emotional but thats not rlly her whole thing ,, shes probably the one to make allure angry first cuz of her chaos she puts up when being paired up with leshy behind the scenes- allure is overly cheesy and heket is NOT !!! I hope that can summarize them together better LAMDOADM allure is an overanalyzer and heket just. Doesnt care? I mean she Does care its just shes also an asshole ❤️🩹
Narinder and allure are. Herm. Quiet ones? Together....? Narinder keeps more to himself often than naught. Allure is the number one oversharer of the yap-century. Paired together you get an annoyed cat being forced to listen to someones struggles for three hours- though jokes aside theyre both not too silly together, theyre probably the most domestic together ,, they both know how it feels to lose family so thats why they feel so bonded together ,, thus being in a qpr cuz their friendship goes a little more beyond than a normal one... yet they dont really experience romance normally together either? So qps it was :-] youd probably catch these two spending time alone indoors or outdoors, mainly for narinders preference. Theyre both quiet extroverts KAMDOAKDSKF
Kallamar and allure are constantly beefing but shi has a weird soft spot for them ??? Like yeah hes a fucking bitch (/lovingly) just like his sister as well as lacking empathy but he sorta just. Has allure as an "equal" person if that makes sense (npd term mainly) ,, she typically despises everyone even allure but sometimes theres just something sweet about them that she cant quite pin down? (Which then he screams in his pillow about and complains about why shes in love with a stupid lamb) ,, kallamar and allure have their moments sometimes where one or the other is rlly nice such as being taught or given something small and they both go like "WERE THEY JUST BEING NICE TO ME??????????????!?!!?!?!?"
Shamura and allure also happen to be a little complex. Allure locked shamura up for a month when they were indoctrinated out of anger as well as not wanting to deal with a dissenting shamura all day?? Shamura attempted to kill them when they were released , which almost worked if it werent for heket interrupting and breaking the fight. Years later from those events youd surprisingly see allure and shamura spending time together near the graves, as shamura smiles nodding their head while listening to what allure talks about the whole day,, allure wanted reparations as an apology from shamura ,, shamura obliged and a year later they accidentally fell first for them ,, however allure did manage to fall harder ,, theyve still got issues to work on together (accidental arguments occuring sometimes or miscommunications) but theyre the second most domestic,, shamura confessed first shyly while allure sobbed cuz they felt silly for not being able to confess first 😭 these two are playful on occasion but theyre relatively calm, spending The most time together at eachothers places, doing whatever,, shamura does scold allure more than the others
So basically its like ,, leshy/allure are matches who are funny together and playful with some hints of being charmed by eachother,
heket/allure are matched for different reasons but nonetheless they can still find that time to be goofy and flirting with eachother (that of which heket still easily wins those) (hints of vulnerability here),
narinder/allure are calm and collected more often than naught ,, some hints of playfulness when the timing is right ? Otherwise def more serious together
kallamar/allure are literally just enemies flirting (with occasional "sorry!" "are you okay?" "good morning")
shamura/allure are conflicting personalities that often clash, but can be found domestic together,, sometimes arguments occur while other times they do the best they can for eachother for both secretly feeling very guilty for the other treated another
#Eh but its subject to change anyways scratches head#Maybe if i draw stuff with each of them i could explain their relationship/dynamics better#sydneys thoughts#maybe i could tag the#mystic pursuit#Just cuz its deemed fitting Mayhaps ???

okay well 2/3 of the brothers (kallamar, and you) have such called them thus far
also twinks tend to have traits, such as a slim to average physique, (i can see your bones) a youthful appearance, (immortal), and flamboyancy.
flamboyancy, is by definition to attract attention.
you're death embodied, you can't not be known. people die everyday, everywhere.
-this was such a stretch tbh
"I'm flamboyant...?"
Death seems confused, rubbing the bridge of his nose to wake himself up, staring at a bottle.
"I guess I catch quite the attention... Much more than all of my siblings do, together!"

Heket headcanons? Or more NariLamb ones!
Can the Lamb cook
Heket
-Heket is really strong. She may look like a fat frog but under that fat is muscle and she can definitely throw a hard punch. Is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and doesn’t like using weapons all that much.
-She was the first sibling Shamura adopted and definitely missed the days where it was only them two. She does love her brothers but sometimes she longs for Shamura’s undivided attention.
-I mean we all agree that Heket gives off lesbian vibes right?
-She had a great voice for singing and wrote many lullabies for her brothers when they were still babies. She also enjoyed playing the lute and it would often accompany her songs.
-She is a patron for children, though that was not always the case. It took her a long time warm up to the idea of other siblings but once she grew to love them she dedicated Anura to being a safe haven for mortal children. She defiantly has a soft spot for them, as they reminder her of simpler times when her brothers were still babies and toddlers. Though that does not stop her from having an occasional child sacrifice from time to time.
-Believes in the fat. Fat is a compliment. Be chubby and be proud!
-Is into fashion and has an extensive wardrobe. Likes fluffy or silky scarves and gloves and wearing jewelry. Kallamar often steals borrows her clothes and never gives them back, much to her dismay.
-After Narinder’s betrayal she became emotionally distant from the rest of her siblings. She may not have had the best relationship with Narinder before hand but him turning his back on their family hurt her more than she ever thought it would. Becoming distant gave her comfort in thinking that, should something happen to her siblings , it wouldn’t hurt as much. This made the bond between the bishops fragile and fighting was becoming commonplace. It didn’t matter much, as her devastation over Leshy’s death hurt just as much if not more than Narinder's betrayal.
-Heket became Shamura’s caretaker after they suffered their head injury and took up the mantle of head of the Old Faith in their stead even though she was not in the right state of mind to do so.
-She blamed herself for Leshy’s death. She was still grieving for him even while fighting the Lamb and while her emotions made her more lethal they also made her accident-prone, resulting in her loss and death.
NariLamb
tbh completely honest I ship them more platonically than romantically but I’ll try to provide headcanons that work for both
-Lamb’s love language is physical touch while Narinder’s is words of affirmation. Lamb is kinda sorta definitely touch starved and desperately wants a hug while Narinder wants to hear that he’s enough or if he’s doing a good job at something.
-Lamb and Narinder are listeners rather than talkers so they make for great ears when it comes to talking about issues. Lamb is the one that offers advice, however. Narinder’s advice is awkward/well-intentioned but poorly worded most of the time.
-Narinder wants his crown back. Lamb is not giving it back.
-Lamb helped a lot with Narinder physical therapy when he was still a newly indoctrinated follower. They came up with an exercise regime that kept Narinder in shape and slowly helped build his strength up. Narinder didn’t like it at first, it felt patronizing but warms up to it eventually.
-Narinder hates water because cat. Lamb absolutely loves pushing him (safely) into ponds. Narinder hates it in the moment but there will come a day when he’ll look back on it and laughs even though he still hates it.
-I can’t imagine them really getting officially married but it taxes were to become a thing (ie, the cult itself gets taxed for whatever reason) I can see Lamb going up to Narinder and asking, “Would you marry me for tax benefit?” And Narinder would absolutely say yes because fuck taxes.
-Lamb cannot cook very well (I mean have you seen the food in game? I’m worried about the Cultists diets) but can prepare pufferfish correctly and with ease so hey that’s something! (A big something)

UR COTL DESIGNS OMG ????? you're so good at like perfectly portraying them omfgg 😭😭 I adore Heket and Leshy and Shamura and Sozo and. Well . All of them I guess but whatever your art is soooo cool!! I'm honestly in awe
Do you have any headcanons on the bishops after their indoctrination into the cult?
AAAAAAAA This is so sweet!!! I'm really glad you like them ;v; !!
As for headcanons, I don't have a lot in mind rn? I do think their time to adapt into the cult varied a lot, for Narinder it took around a couple of decades to truly feel comfortable (or at least to let his guard down a little more and not attempt to kill any of the Lambs followers) and even more years before he had genuinely put the Lamb dethroning him in the past (though he would not tell them till waaaayyyy later) their relationship needs a lot of mending but later they finally are able to see each other as equals (in the sense that they can trust and support each other, romance surely will be involved but that's for another time jsjsjsjs)
As for the other Bishops, they take a lot of time to adapt, especially for Leshy and Heket, it takes for both of them a lot to not blow things up every now and then, and considering their personalities are more feisty, the Lamb needs to be very patient (In my save file Leshy chilled down rather considerable but Heket tried to start a mob a couple of times lmao) Kallamar seems to adapt a lot faster at first, but in reality he would try to gain the Lamb's trust and kill them to take the Red crown, needless to say, it doesn't work lmao. He learns his lesson and tries to chill down (in my save file he got married so good for him! good for him) as for Shamura... Personally, idk if this is mostly hc influenced, but I always thought they were the one that most regretted chaining Narinder (considering they sent Aym and Baal to him and the dialogue you get from them on ur second encounter) so they're mostly... a sad grandparent SADFASDFA, they accepted their punishment in Purgatory and actually tries to make something good with their second chance, though their relationship with their siblings (especially Narinder) is very rocky (idk why them and Nari keep picking fights with each other in my save though.... like cmon....)
Other stuff! Heket and Kallamar learn sign language (tbh is kind of a must in the cult considering some followers are deaf/mute) so they have rather intense fights while signing lmao, while Heket can muster some words it hurts her, and Kallamar while not completely deaf, he's hard of hearing to the point it makes him frustrated, so signing is a better option
As for Shamura, their brain damage gave them insomnia, issues with controlling movement and reduced motor functions, some days are good, others are bad, but they try their best

Hi! Sorry I'm still a little new to the fandom, so I'm still in the process of learning the lore and diffrent popular interpretations.
But i am really loving what yall are putting down, so please forgive me for rambling for a second.
I'm really intrigued by the idea that the crowns are separate entities from their bearers, and that the bearers can be at odds with their crowns.
Tbh, that explains one of the things that kinda puzzled me about Shamura. They seem to be the only bishop with two domains: wisdom and war.
Maybe once I play cotl again I'll catch onto it earlier, but in my first playthrough, it seemed like Shamura's main thing being wisdom was well established, but the domain of war was kinda... tacked on. Like the writers were really married to the idea of the bishops being the four horsemen of the apocalyps; even after it no longer fit neatly with the characters (Shamura having two domains. Leshy having a fifth, new, horseman-like domain)
But the idea that the crown is its own character explains the discrepancy of Shamura's end.
If they had their way, Shamura's domain would be wisdom. But the crown's domain is war. Thus putting the two of them in an ideological clash (which is made even more difficult after Shamura's injury.
Now. about our favorite squid.
I love him dearly, and all the traits that fans dislike about him are the ones that have endeared me to him. But that's a whole other post.
In Relics of the Old Faith-- if you bring Kallamar into the cult-- one of his traits is his fear of death. Not just of his own. He has a negative reaction to any death that occurs in the cult.
This has given me the headcannon that, originally, he was in favor of Narinder resurrecting the dead (whether or not he voiced his support is up for debate. but it would have eased his fear, knowing that death was no longer permanent). however, once he saw the other bishop's reactions, and realized he was outnumbered, he joined his siblings against Narinder.
Maybe it was true that it was the others who came up with the plan to lock away TOWW, but he absolutely played a part in it.
If they were willing to banish their sibling for stepping out of line, what would they do to those who supported him?
His role in the lamb genocide followed suit.
If Kallamar was afraid of death before... well, banishing the God of Death only assured that his fate would be worse than anything he could imagine.
So, of course he would do anything to avoid seeing the TOWW again. No matter the cost.
Even if that included killing an entire species.
(Side tangent: once we save Kallamar from purgatory, he shows up at the cult with a massive ego. Referring to himself (or at least his ear) as beautiful and handsome. Then audibly gags at the thought of Heket's temple. So when you mentioned how Kallamar speaks with authority half the time, and begs the lamb to leave him alone the other half...
Now I have the idea that the "confidence and authority" part WAS Kallamar, and it was the Blue Crown that looked at the Red and started visibly sweating. and i love that)
May I say that I think about the fact Kallamar claims he didn't want to banish the Red Crown WAY too much? Like, sure, it could've easily been a lie no doubt about that. But. If it wasn't, that's super interesting. The primary reason was the problem with resurrection existing, right? And Kallamar is shown to be terrified of death (and purgatory), although how much that has to do with death itself vs his issues with the Red Crown can absolutely be debated.
Either way, it's Interesting. He fears the Red Crown heavily, yet didn't agree with casting it out. Was it due to the fact he feared death more than the crown (assuming his fear of death isn't Due To the crown) or was he close to Narinder in a way he could ignore the resurrection thing? Could he have had no problems with it in general even??
Plus since if it isn't a lie, the fact he focuses on that instead of the lamb's genocide, to me, enforces the idea he definitely played a part in it. Which was definitely the most logical thing based on his dialogue during the intro, sure, but it's still something I noticed.
I do wonder what it would imply if he IS lying, though. Like, presumably the Red Crown (or He Who Waits), if he's trying to take to it, would know if Kallamar was involved or not. Why would he bring that up with The Lamb staring him down? Is he that freaked out (presumably by the Red Crown, since that seems to be what he's worrying about in this case) he just spit out the first thing he could think of to try and save his skin? Or does he think The Lamb is mad about the Red Crown's banishment and is trying to appease them on that front, instead of the slaughter of their kin??
I'm not sure if this makes any sense I'm just kinda spitting out words-
I think a lot about Kallamar, anon.... more than I probably should. Grade A squid brain rot. It's a shame how disliked he is.
To me, Kallamar reads as complicit. Sure, maybe he really didn't want to kill all the sheep or banish TOWW, but he was still an active participant. It's a very manipulative type of "you made me do it".
It's interesting; because there's cut dialogue from Kallamar where he actually does try to appeal to Lamb. He says he tried to tell the others that genociding sheep wasn't a good plan. but they wouldn't listen to him.
But one thing for sure, is that Kallamar sees the Red Crown and Narinder as separate entities. I wrote something up about it once, I should make a masterpost of my theories... With Shamura basically out of commission, Kallamar's the next in line in terms of experience, so there's probably something about the crowns that he (and conscious-Shamura) understand that his younger siblings don't.
So when Kallamar begs the Red Crown for mercy, I think that's exactly who he's addressing. He knows it wasn't the vessel under the crown that trapped him. It was who was in the crown—and there is someone in the Red Crown.
There's someone inside each of the crowns. There's little hints that that's the case spread about, but the most obvious one is when their purged statues begin to cry black tears from their crowns. Chemach in particular also addresses the Red Crown and Lamb separately.
The anatomy of the lamb merch would imply that the crowns shape and influence their wearers to fall in line with the desires of other gods. Some people can resist it, but others, like a sheep, may not be able to. While Leshy and Heket are, for the most part, in line with their crown, Shamura and Kallamar visibly aren't.
Shamura obviously bounces back and forth between incoherent, repetitive riddles and becoming lucid enough to wallow in a millennia of guilt. (Note: as a follower, Shamura speaks primarily in rhymes, so that would mean that the exposition dialogue regarding Narinder isn't completely their own thoughts). But Kallamar also has a dichotomy to him: the side of him that speaks with confidence and authority, and the side of him that's basically begging Lamb to leave him alone every chance he gets.
Oh, oh, figuring it out as I'm typing this. He's appealing to the crown because it doesn't matter what Lamb thinks. The crown will override it. The crowns most likely aren't set in stone and their "opinions" can be changed, which would then change the actions of the wearer:
If you think about it, if Shamura didn't go out of their way to tell Lamb all the family-business, we'd only know two things about Narinder's personal relationships: 1) That Shamura loved him the most, and 2) Kallamar is his brother.
For all the negative things Narinder has to say about Kallamar, he's yet to disown the pathetic little squid. And he admits that Kallamar's temple was beautiful. And that seems important, as the beauty of his own (former) temple is something Narinder harps on more than a few times.

in theory could kallamar make them sick?
tbh yeah i think so
they could all push their domains onto each other, god powers do work on gods, but they all love each other. they wouldnt
not on purpose at least. maybe an accidental cast/misfire of a curse that happens to hit a sibling instead of the intended target. i dont think that would happen often though
narinder is a bit different in the sense he doesnt have the power to kill people (well he CAN. but he cant snap his fingers and kill someone). being death relates to the afterlife... and you cannot really kill someone that has the power to bring anyone in the aftetlife back
but in the super unlikely scenerio that the other bishops were to die, im sure narinder will help his family out ;)

Lamb sends the bishops and the one who waits to a family therapy, in follower bishops au. By Narinder quest quotes after the end, looks like he misses them.
The therapist is a friend of the lamb.
This is more rambling if anything but tbh I can imagine therapy being very beneficial to the cult!! It could help solve problems between individuals or cultists traumatized by experiences in the lands or previous cults. Very beneficial indeed!
Unless..you have the bishops who are just sitting in a circle, seething at Narinder (who suddenly claims not to miss them at all and wonders if this is a pointless intervention) the entire time.
Everybody points at him when the therapist mistakenly asks "so what brought you all here today?"
Heket's eager to talk shit and throw hands, Kallamar's too scared to speak, Shamura keeps muttering cryptic stuff, and Leshy just wants to go back to tending the flowers.
Meanwhile this poor, poor therapist sighs like "Red Crown, give me strength-"
There's a lot to unpack
