She talked about CAA agency specifically and their way of managing their clients’ personal lives.>>
Depends on what she means by that, I know a lot about CAA, but some people act as if CAA even takes care of their bank accounts (Evans situation), as if it has put a gun to their head, which it is not just like that. If it weren't for that, clients wouldn't leave CAA. When Christian Bale was struggling to get roles, his agent suggested he date an up-and-coming model, but he declined. He never did PR. CAA is not the only agency in Hollywood, WME is one of the most powerful, whose CEO is the inspiration for the talent agent in the Entourage series.
All Hollywood agencies do PR. Don't think it's only CAA.
a bunch of people commented how we all should prepare for a public romance next,>> What romance PR.? I don't deny that agencies do that, but PR with a talentless and unknown actress did what for him? Where were the articles about the two of them? Magazine covers? Don't tell me the PR was for him to get an Emmy nomination. Nor did she get a five-minute role on an American series. She still continues with the same mediocre career as always. And she didn't help him in nothing, not even on a red carpet. For the GA it is still unknown. Same with Anna.
Henry Cavill did PR with Kaley Cuoco, it didn't last long because nobody bought it. They ran out fast. That's PR, when it doesn't work, they break fast. Ale gained nothing from Seb but hate, she would have dumped him in months if that was PR. Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal, both CAA, he was ridiculed for romance, a 30 man with a girl who had the mindset of a 12. He broke fast, and lowkey left CAA and changed publicists. Seb has zero engagement online for a PR romance with both of them. Not even US Magazine, the second best-selling tabloid in the US, cared about him and Alexandra.
Cut the bs!
If i was Ale and was in a Pr contract with someone whos fans brought me so much hate and nasty comments I would have broke the contract so fast considering she has the money to do it. She must have been down bad for him to stay

Why She Wrote: A Graphic History of the Lives, Inspiration, and Influence Behind the Pens of Classic Women Writers by Lauren Burke, Hannah K. Chapman, and Kaley Bales
Why She Wrote: A Graphic History of the Lives, Inspiration, and Influence Behind the Pens of Classic Women Writers by Lauren Burke, Hannah K. Chapman, and Kaley Bales
My Rating: 4 stars Many thanks to Chronicle Books and NetGalley for the ARC. This book is being released today, April 20 2021! Lately I’ve noticed an influx of graphic fiction and nonfiction about classic women writers, and I am loving it. Why She Wrote is a great addition to the genre. The book covers eighteen British and American writers from the 18th through the early 20th century. For each…

Why She Wrote (Chronicle Books, $19.95): Brigid Alverson did an advanced review of this new graphic novel about some of history’s greatest authors, so I’ll share what she said about it:
This book grew out of the writers’ podcast, Bonnets at Dawn, which was sort of a “who would win this fight” but with Charlotte Bronte and Jane Austen in opposite corners; it later expanded to include other women writers. They group the writers in threes, each triad focusing on an issue such as pseudonyms or intellectual property rights, then gives a brief bio of each writer followed by a comic that depicts one moment or motif in her life. So basically it’s “You’ve heard of this writer, right? Did you know she’s really badass? Here, let me show you!”
Read more of her review here.

[REVIEW] Hannah K. Chapman & Lauren Burke’s “Why She Wrote”
Tumblr media
RATE: ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
If you’re looking for a book about women writers in history, whose books are considered classics, then that’s the one for you! ‘Why She Wrote’ summarises the story of many female writers, mostly from the 1800-1900s, and their stories are also illustrated by Kaley Bales in a way that makes it a fun and lighthearted read.
It’s a good way to know more authors, since some aren’t as known mainstream as others, and to know more about the lives of those you already know. This book is just perfect for people who want to start reading classics and classical authors, but find them particularly difficult to understand or keep up with, or those who don’t have much time in their hands to do so. Basically, it’s the perfect way to become familiar with classics.
It is also a very interesting reading in a historical point of view, to analyze the context those texts were written and which struggles those writers had to go through socially to be able to speak their mind and live their life as they wished.
Basically, it’s a book that deals with heavy topics, as expected from any form of media about women who lived a century ago, especially some who were sapphics, women of color or in poverty, but the narrative of this book is as lighthearted as possible, considering the topics it portrays. It’s a great book you should certainly read if you’re interested in history and/or literature.

Why She Wrote
Tumblr media
This book was really fun to read! The illustrations were fantastic and it was really cool to see these snapshots of these amazing women's lives and legacies. I especially liked Mary Wollstonecraft's story and found her section very moving. I do wish that they had gone a bit more in-depth into each of the women's lives, such as Beatrix Potter who did some really cool stuff in mycology before becoming an author. Overall I learned so much from this book and am definitely going to try to read more classic literature by these women!
Favorite Quote: In a time when women were second-class citizens, each of them was audacious enough to put pen to paper and write.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Authors: Hannah K. Chapman and Lauren Burke
Illustrator: Kaley Bales
Note: I received this book as an ARC through NetGalley.

Self tagging from @ursadelimabean, thank you for letting people tag themselves!
Rules: post four characters who match my energy.
1) Matilda (Roald Dahl)
At first look I don’t have a lot in common with her: I’m French, I grew up surrounded by books, every one in my family reads, my parents paid attention to me (well they did their best) and I’m much too shy to act like she did. However, I’m 100% a book-lover, I love hot chocolate, and telekinesis is my favorite superpower.
Tumblr media
2) The Mage in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
Wishful thinking n°2, and it was only my love of books that made me put Matilda first. The Mage is so close to what I imagine myself be in an imaginary world it’s eerie.
Tumblr media
3) Luna Lovegood. She is also so close to me it’s eerie, but more painful. Luna could be me. She’s a portrait of autistic, inattentive ADHD, bullied in school because she’s weird and it’s funny *sarcasm intensifies*. I was lucky enough to find tumblr.
Tumblr media
Art by Geraldine Rodriguez
4) Jane Eyre (according to a quiz by Penguin Random House). I quite like her, as long as I can stay celibate.

April Wrap Up
This month has flown by and so much has happened! My boyfriend and I signed a lease on an apartment (we’re moving in at the beginning of June) and we booked a venue for our wedding in spring 2022! Now he just needs to get me a ring. Our new place is gorgeous and has so much natural light from the huge windows, which means maybe my book photos will be a bit better than they have been. One can hope, at least!
Books Read - Goal: 8  Total: 9
It’s been a good reading month, mainly due to school. And I just want to say that Moths and The Heavenly Twins are both 600+ pages so reading both of them in the same month plus other books is really impressive! Those two happen to also be my favorite and least favorite of the month. I need to read more by Ouida now; she’s amazing. The Heavenly Twins wasn’t awful; there were good parts, but it gets bogged down with a lot of unnecessary stuff.
Ruth Hall by Fanny Fern - 4 stars
Olive by Dinah Maria Mulock Craik - 3 stars
Malice by Heather Walter - 4 stars
Why She Wrote: A Graphic History of the Lives, Inspiration, and Influence Behind the Pens of Classic Women Writers by Lauren Burke, Hannah K. Chapman, and Kaley Bales - 4 stars
Fruits Basket Another vol. 1 by Natsuki Takaya - 3.5 stars

Fruits Basket Another vol. 3 by Natsuki Takaya - 4 stars
The Heavenly Twins by Sarah Grand - 3 stars

The theme of the fifth Object Head Zine is “SUPERSTITION” or simply Good luck/Bad luck.
Show us your tidbits of folktales, little stories you believed in that would change your luck, or your favourite local urban legends. As with the 3rd edition, this can be a little flexible - you can draw either object heads relating to folklore items, good luck/bad luck items or have them put into superstitious/folklore situations! It can be either scary or cutesy or even a mix of both! You may include monsters, but please keep object heads the focus of your piece.
This book will feature 45 people I’ve selected, plus 25 open slots available to the public for a total of 70 participants! This year’s zine is a PAID OPPORTUNITY of $100 CAD (approx. $80 USD) per page. Participants will be paid as soon as they complete their piece (give or take a week for paypal to transfer funds). There will be a preorder sale to cover the costs of printing and shipping.
The 45 pre-selected participants are:
Potentialforart | This is Hannako | Rachel Stolberg | MannyAndys | Rezllen/Robin Crew | Corviday | Modmad | Nighto | Haley/Ivan Kasof | Aaron Alexovich  | Miru/Inktrashing | Cacoethic & Lenalis | 2-ee | ArticBleu | Kimberly Wang | Bri R. | Amelia Carmela Zuccaro | Shibara | Francis M | John Gorillaprutt | Lye Lawrence | Emily Gossmann | Angelo W | Louise Kay Uy (Kalkie) | Coey Kuhn | Britney Brent | Vee (Cassandra) | Holeyness | Kiana McMillian | TigerToony | Taylor Robin | Naomi Romero | RadJinja (Cathy A.) | Evan Dahm | Hobermen | Tess Stone  |  Crypto |  Cosmicloak  | ENDO | Verface | ElliEspy | MerriMonster | Kaley Bales | Fenris Lansing | Slitherbot
The guidelines are as follows:
Illustration-quality works in either digital or traditional mediums. Both colour and b/w acceptable; background required. *BG can be as simple as a pattern or colour block!
6”x9”, 300 DPI illustrations with a 1/8th inch bleed (FINAL DIMENSIONS SHOULD BE 6.25” x 9.25”) Works must be in CMYK, a template will be provided via email if you are selected. Works will be in a vertical format only.
15 slots are open for a 1-4 page comic. A separate portfolio of your comic works must be sent in for consideration.
At least one (1) work in progress picture should be sent in with your final illustration/comic.
For consistency’s sake, keep faces to a minimum (You can have eye(s) or you can have mouth(s) but don’t have both in a humanoid arrangement.)
Original characters only (yours or your friends’).
You can include humans/monsters as long as there’s a 1:1 object head to human/monster ratio.
This book is for all ages. PG-13 content at the most! Cartoon violence and blood are acceptable, but realistic gore is NOT. Use your common sense. If you’re unsure, run the idea by me.
Completed illustrations/comics must be sent as a flattened psd or tiff file.
To apply, please submit:
Examples of your work (art blog/tag, homepage, etc). If you wish to submit a comic, please provide examples of your comic work as well. Object heads are not required in your portfolio but always welcome.
The name you want to be credited with
The website you want to be linked on the credits page
The email you want to be displayed on the credits page (optional)
If you have an idea of what superstitious concept you want to portray, feel free to describe it in a few sentences as well. This is Not Essential, however.
There are only 15 slots for comics available due to page count space so if you apply for a comic space, and you are selected, you may not be picked for comics but instead illustration!
Please send this information to objectheadzine (at) hotmail (dot) com, plus any questions you may have about the zine. I’ll do my best to reply promptly. If you haven’t received a response from me regarding your application in a few days, please send it again. There are a few essential questions answered over at the FAQ. There is also a twitter account for the zine for frequent updates and WIPs of the book! For more constant feedback/information, feel free to join the Object head Zine Discord chat (now working correctly). There is also a useful timeline of the zine process found on the top bar of the tumblr account or Here.
Applications are due May 2nd, 2018, 11:59 PM, PST.
