OK SO CONTEXT

I’ve been writing a fanfic and as I wrote, I noticed that if Jotaro were to survive the events of stone ocean, he would yes or yes have brain damage. He wouldn’t only be half blind. His frontal lobe was literally sliced and if we’re imagining he survived there ain’t no way that didn’t leave sequels.

So, I thought about light sensitivity, difficulty focusing, and struggle with speaking (this one is kinda based on how I had a (kind of??) speech impediment as a kid and how going nonverbal feels like I really just write what I remember, what I investigated, and I what I know. I hope this isn’t offensive to anyone)

Kakyoin is his chosen caretaker (since like he’s his husband and stuff)

So, I imagine that if he were to not be able to speak (for like at least a year or so) he had to learn sign language to communicate with others. So I made this bc it makes sense in my fanfic

My local Japanese store had the most recent edition of the JoJo magazine, so I bought it soley for this segment about Jotaro’s relationship with the crusaders. The two paragraphs on the bottom explain how Jotaro and Kakyoin have such deep respect for one another, and even mentions how Kakyoin is one of the only people to bring a smile to Jotaro’s face. 🥲

Another thing that’s mentioned that I originally wanted to make a separate post about was how Jotaro was the only one of the crusaders to hear Kakyoin calling out for them upon his return from the hospital.

One might say it’s because Star Platinum is a precision based stand, so of course that would mean he also has excellent hearing. Well, yes, that’s true, but the magazine says it’s because he’s Jotaro’s ‘Best Partner’ and that they have a bond ‘that goes beyond reason’, which is also just as correct (I mean, Jotaro didn’t have a reason as to why he risked his own life to save Kakyoin’s ffs). After all, Jotaro is the only one who was willing to sit and listen to Kakyoin’s fun facts, so of course Jotaro would be the only one to hear Kak’s voice. And Kakyoin will sometimes even speak up for both of them, he’s aware that Jotaro isn’t a talker and prefers to convey his feelings through actions.

Kudos to the author of this article btw, they even pointed out how Kakyoin is so attentive to Jotaro’s opinions on anything. In this panel, Kakyoin exclaims something along the lines of “Let’s hear your opinion, Jotaro!” (I’m too lazy to look up the official translated version, lol).

Kak knows Jotaro so well to the point that they no longer need the words to communicate with each other. They barely needed to say anything when they reunited too!

And this beautiful relationship was formed all because Jotaro was the first person in Kakyoin’s life to show him genuine kindness and dedicate his time to listening and understanding him, and vice versa.

Uhh, I don’t know where exactly I wanted to go with this ramble. I just wanted to share some stuff that I found interesting and adorable from this page of the JoJo Magazine. xD

Panacotta Fugo, Kakyoin Noriaki x reader SFW and NSFW relationship headcanons

- Fugo seems to always be slightly confused by your love and affection towards him. He knows all of his flaws and all of the things he should but cannot change about himself so why love him? Are you sure about that?

- At the initial phase of the relationship, he still is a bit reluctant to your affection, mainly because of his past. He needs time, to be understood, and you to let him take the lead with the pace of the relationship. If you accept this, he again considers himself too lucky.

- Fugo's love language is acts of service and words of affirmation, the latter comes in time. He is there anytime you need anything and loves doing things for you. He will also like to compliment you from time to time, but he won't be overwhelming.

- He is not opposed to pda but only if it's not too much or too obvious. It's tricky. He enjoys holding your hand, and caressing your back, but kissing? That might be too much for him in public.

- Something unexpected is that he gets clumsy because of you. Everyone notices how he starts stumbling or dropping things by accident and they start teasing him about genuinely "falling" in love.

- There's a big inner battle in him when trying to decide if he should tell you that he thinks of leaving the team. It's tearing him apart because he knows that if he leaves the team behind, he leaves you behind.

- Fugo is definitely the type to sit next to the bathtub as you take a bath and read something to you so you can relax more. His voice is calm and before turning the page, he steals a glance at you with loving eyes.

- From a young age, Fugo was a studious person and old habits die hard, and now his favorite subject is you. He likes to observe you when you're not paying attention to him. When you read, he's next to you, reading something as well. However, if you pay close attention you'll notice how he just won't turn the page in a few good minutes. You can tell he's distracted but can you tell why?

- When he snaps out of that trance, he just clears his throat and asks you about what you're reading. As you explain, he inches closer with a look in his eyes that tells you that he wants something right then and there, nodding and listening to you. His intentions are clear when he gets close enough to straddle you and take the book from your hands to put it away.

- With you, Fugo is surprised to discover how useful intimacy is when it comes to daily self-control. As you two get more intimate, his anger fits diminishes in frequency. It's like a balance.

- As mentioned before, Fugo needs to feel like he is taking the lead to feel comfortable with everything that's going on and that goes into the bedroom as well. He is very careful soft dom in bed. Him being the one to take care of you and decide the next move puts him at ease immensely but it also gives him confidence.

- I feel like even within the group of crusaders, he feels a bit left out, he can't tell why. Maybe it's out of habit. However, this changes once you become his friend and even his lover later on. He feels more connected to the group through you. It's like you took him by the hand and brought him closer to the others. He will be forever grateful for that.

- Kakyoin is introverted by nature and has a complex personality so there are some aspects that you need to know in the initial phase of the relationship. He might act differently than how he truly wants to act just to make sure nothing bothers you. If you encourage him, he'll slowly show his true beautiful colors until he becomes totally comfortable with just being himself around you.

- As he opens up in the relationship, you discover a new side of him, one that's more playful and bold. This is when you understand that besides acts of service as his love language, there is also physical touch as a way to express his strong emotions.

- Because you're so perfect in his eyes, Kakyoin wants to impress you but has no idea how. He makes the greatest mistake to ask the group for advice. However, he's smart enough not to follow their suggestions. So he feels defeated. He doesn't know that it's the little things he does that impress you. Little things such as: always opening the door for you, placing his hand on your lower back protectively, making sure you're hydrated, lending you his jacket if you're cold, telling you how beautiful you look when he wakes up next to you, and so on.

- His favorite gesture to remind you that he's there for you is to put a strand of hair between your ear and kiss your cheek.

- Kakyoin will notice a change in your mood immediately, you won't be able to hide it from him. He asks what you need, to be heard, to be distracted, or to get an opinion. He goes a long way to make sure you're alright, you're too precious to him.

- Call him your cherry boy and he's putty in your hands, blushing and looking at you with big eyes. If you play with his curl too, he's done.

- Wants to present you to his parents one day. He is just so happy he's not alone anymore and wants to share it with his dear ones. And let me tell you, his parents will adore you.

- Kakyoin often thinks of ways to spoil you and show his appreciation to you in different and authentic ways. He saves some money and takes you to a date at your favorite library and tells you to choose any book you want without a care.

- You're art to him, his muse, and that's why his sketchbook is filled with you. His favorite scene? When you're curled up in an armchair, lost in a book. However, there might be other sketches that are a little bit suggestive and maybe explicit. He usually tries to draw them from memory and as he replays the intimate scenes in his mind, he feels overwhelmed and hot under his clothes.

- Kakyoin is a total switch in bed but might be leaning more toward being submissive. Again, you can overwhelm him very easily, use it wisely. He gets dominant only if you tease him too much and wants to get revenge.

- He's a big experimentalist, wanting to try everything once with you. The result of this is that he will develop many kinks. I feel like one of his favorites is Shibari, done on you. Ramble under the cut

Noriaki is a successful gallery artist living with his "roommate" on Florida's Gulf Coast (I think the Tampa Bay area, specifically Bradenton, FL). They have a small bungalow near the water, Perfect for them, their office/studios, Jotaro's fish tanks, and Jolyne when she comes from her mother's during the holidays or for summer break. Jotaro is definitely a boat guy they have theirs parked on the side of the house and take it for a spin over at least once a month (or once a week when Jolyne is with them over the summer)

He still does missions for the SWF with Jotaro, but his day job is his art. He works in an abstract/contemporary style and his pieces are large and textural. Jotaro doesn't really get it but still supports his partner, Jolyne loves them though.

Also, he and Jotaro have matching wedding rings: platinum bands with emerald Inserts.

─ Your hands seem to want to grab something at the least opportune moment, and of all the things that can happen, you always end up breaking what you touch.

─ They are definitely not putting their lives in your hands, at least, not if you have to hold them, they prefer to rest on the ground than in your hands.

─ The good part is that you always have funny stories to tell about moments that were uncomfortable but now funny, you lighten the tension of the trip in these small breaks.

─ Jotaro scolds you a lot because before you can do anything you're already apologizing, it's not like it's your fault that the objects seem to come to life in your hands and self-immolate.

─ You're going to start using your feet to grab things as your problems continue.

─ Although it's just a joke, Polnareff will surely support you with the idea of using your feet instead of your hands.

─ They wonder if you can magically rebuild something that is already broken if you touch it, obviously it doesn't happen.

─ Kakyoin jokes that after the trip you will form a demolition company.

─ Be prepared for a lot of bets on what will be the first thing you break when you arrive at a hotel.

─ Sometimes you even apologize to enemies because you broke something of theirs that was unnecessary to determine the victory of the battle.

─ Joseph seriously thinks that if you die you will cause an explosion that will destroy everything around you.

─ But despite everything, they are happy to have you as a companion, despite your clumsiness and your unwanted destruction, you were reliable, determined and gave moments worth remembering in this adventure.

Their Favorite Part of You Headcanons (Jotaro Kujo, Noriaki Kakyoin)

A/n: Wow, I actually posted something! Jokes aside, this summer has been rough so I’ve been trying to take it easy when I can. I missed writing, though, and hope y’all enjoy.

Jotaro Kujo

He appreciates your eyes best.

Considering the apparent intimacy that results from direct eye contact, it makes the question an easy one to answer.

In fact, it’s highly probable your eyes were what he first noticed about you upon the initial meeting. Whether he has to bend his neck downward or you manage to stand at eye-level, it’s a moment he’s likely replayed over and over in his mind.

Another reason behind this choice is also a simple one (If you ask Jotaro, at least).

He didn’t fall easy and not at all for shallow reasons. Many of his classmates throughout high school would fuss over him seemingly due to his outwardly appearance and reputation. Because he was the “popular guy to like,” a diverse range of people were noticeably into him.

And taking into account how much he loathed a particular group of girls that would follow him around constantly, his perspective on love doesn’t tolerate anything he would deem shallow.

So, in short, what he cherishes most about you tends to be very personal to who you are.

It also plays into his communication preferences. Unsurprisingly, he tends to stare at you…. a lot.

It was definitely awkward in the early stages of your platonic-at-the-time relationship.

Throughout the duration of the journey to Egypt, you’d lost count of the times you’d stand face-to-face without a single word being exchanged. He didn’t ever wince or turn away, and you fondly recall the sheer intensity of those moments having kept you perfectly still.

Understanding Jotaro better as an individual- as well as how he feels about you -progressed his stares into something you find to be heartwarming. Just catching him in the act makes your heart leap, and your mind reels with wonder over what’s going through his head.

A little over a year after the aforementioned trip, and a relationship forms. It’s by then that he finds himself okay with getting lost in your lovely irises.

Your light giggle when you finally meet his gaze, flustered and gentle… it’s worth it. He always catches the moment your smile reaches your eyes, slightly creased by upturned lips. It’s a breathtaking sight, having twice now caused a cigarette to fall from his mouth while watching in awe.

His knack for nonverbal communication is pretty much universally understood by the few especially close to him. However, when it comes to you specifically, it reveals a rather bashful approach to the relationship that you might not have expected. It makes sense, as the likelihood of you being his first love is... more accurately labeled a certainty.

Jotaro can be observant after forming a connection with someone. When it comes to you, this is definitely the case. Any excuse to look at you is fine in his book.

However, it’s been long-established that he’s not exactly chatty, so he responds best to reactions he can see with his own two eyes. And it’s in the depth of your pupils that he finds doing so the simplest (If not simple, it’s at least selfish given his own bias).

The main aspect of this type of communication involves him looking at you intensely while his body language makes the tiniest adjustments in order to voice whatever he’s thinking.

For example, him holding out his palm to you, as his eyes cling to your person, is his way of asking you to hold his hand. He trusts that you know him well enough to get the point. And while you work on decoding his own subtle actions, his gaze never once pulls away from yours.

He simply cannot help it; there’s really something special about your eyes. He searches for your gaze constantly, and lingers for as long as he possibly can. It’s as if he’s always seeking your approval, reaction, and attention.

Now, as the relationship turns serious, he prefers to keep his eyes locked on you whenever he can. Once the two of you start becoming intimate, it’s quickly apparent he likes positions where he can keep his face close to your own. Or at the very least, hold eye contact.

Jotaro’s shockingly passionate, holding your hand in his own while he directs his hips accordingly. Lips slightly parted and gaze locked onto yours without fault. The emotion radiating from him is nothing short of immovable devotion.

Noriaki Kakyoin

Asking him this question yourself garners a flushed appearance and a hasty answer. He’ll stutter, telling you it’s your voice that he likes best. From the way it’s delivered you wouldn’t be able to tell if he’s practiced his response in advance or simply grasping at straws. Still, it’s an adorable sight and your quite pleased with his reply. Seeing your reaction, Kakyoin would feel a hint of shame.

Because he would be lying though his teeth.

He wouldn’t dare admit it initially, least of all to you, but he loves the sight of your legs.

Perhaps you tend to have them exposed. If that’s the case, he’s ashamed that he noticed such a thing so early on. A lump made its home in his throat that day, halting his words and making his mind run wild.

Or alternatively, you may mainly keep them hidden. Whatever it was that first prompted you revealing your bare legs- a couple hours at a hotel pool possibly -he undoubtedly finds himself sneaking more glances in your direction than usual.

It’s going to take him a bit to mentally process this.

Even in it’s more innocent connotations, he cannot help growing flustered. He just can’t help but find it a bit risqué. Although not exactly self-prescribed, despite his occasional arrogance, Kakyoin is certainly the gentleman type. Far from the kind of guy to be caught eyeing up someone’s legs in any shape or form.

That being said, the closer you become, the more difficult avoiding it gets. He focuses so much of his energy on not even glancing at your legs that he does, in fact, notice them quite often.

It doesn’t help being stuck in a car for hours on end right next to you. Thighs brushed against one another by sheer circumstance. It didn’t matter how many times it occurred throughout the trip to Egypt, he would think about it afterwards each time.

And it took only one sly comment from Polnareff or Mr. Joestar to prompt a myriad of fierce denials from the redhead. They’d egg him on, speaking a bit too loudly about how he’s “checking you out.” His cheeks would turn fiercely pink while rushing out a defense, which did not do much to help his case.

Eventually, the journey reaches its end. The group inevitably dissolves, but the two of you remain very close after the fact.

By then, your feelings for one another are certainly apparent. It’s hard for you to deny it when the excuse of looming danger is no longer present, and in turn he couldn’t imagine any other reason as to why you clung so close to him during his recovery period.

And even after becoming an official couple, understanding how to express his affection is met with bashfulness and hesitancy. If you’re inexperienced like him, it’ll likely be comforting for you. If you aren’t, it probably comes off as endearing.

Yes, you both have explicitly admitted to each other how you feel. Will Kakyoin still keep himself from eyeing you in any way? Absolutely.

A discussion will likely need to be had between the both of you before he loosens up a bit. A clear omission that you like him looking at you will help put his mind at ease (Man’s so smitten he feels guilty noticing that your beautiful god bless him).

Once he grows used to the relationship and starts showing just how touch-starved he is, the favoritism he holds for your legs finally becomes clear to you.

He’ll snuggle between your legs while he games, perfectly content within your hold. Even if you fall asleep, he doesn’t necessarily mind.

A lot of the clothes he buys for you leaves your legs exposed. The expression of awe he has whenever you wear something he’s bought is special to that occasion only. A strange mix of adoration and pride.

You also start catching him on his stares. Teasing him over it is a sure way for you earn a blush, as well as a weak comeback. However, the smile adorning his features exposes fondness. Only you’re allowed to say anything, though.

As intimacy blooms, he gladly indulges himself more. It strengthens his confidence in his actions, and turns the tides. One thing I love to day dream about is the yandere and their darling doing beauty treatment 💕 In my case it's Kakyoin. He is definitely the type of boy really care about beauty stuff like having a skincare routine or doing his hair in perfect curve shape. He is expert in this field although he is a boy (completely opposite me, I don't know how to do it although I'm a girl 😭)

I'm sure he will this advantages to be touchy with darling. Here, let he help you putting on the face mask. This nail color is suit you, let he pain it for you. You need help with your hairstyle, don't worry, he is a pro.

I believe he use lip balm cherry flavor too. And when darling joking ask him does it taste good, he will immediately kiss them and pretend nothing wrong with that action "What, you ask about how it taste so I just let you taste it."

Kakyoin is certainly the most thorough when it comes to beauty/haircare/skincare. Of course if he’s going to find a way to slip you into doing something with him no matter how small. Just the slightest extra amount of time alone with the redhead has him thrilled. Why don’t you try a little face mask? They’re not difficult to deal with in the slightest.

He’ll fixate on anything you seem to fancy yourself towards, that’s his primary objective firstly. Just your hair? Perfect, let him brush/comb, or even trim/cut it (it doesn’t make a difference how short or how long it is) He’ll even manage to get you a nice scent of shampoo/conditioner to use. It just happens to be something that he loves on you fragrance wise, but he keeps this to himself.

No make up or a make up every day kind of person doesn’t matter to Kakyoin, he always seems to come up with something to keep you around him longer. Little things that any person should keep up with. Helping with lotion to keep skin from drying out (or sunscreen). The way he does anything with you feels rather nice, gentle even. His heart is practically drumming out of his chest every time he touches you. Yet there’s a firm, focused face, seemingly concentrated on your form no matter the area.

Every little thing Kakyoin does well from painting nails to even simply massaging your scalp, he has the slightest hope to keep coming you coming back. If not he’ll keep coaxing you back, and making the experience pleasant as possible. Let’s not mention if things go south and you run off, that he wouldn’t eventually tie you down acting like nothing happened before proceeding with your usual routine. Even fawning over you right there as if he isn’t terrifying you right there and then.

Somehow he might figure out your favorite color of nail polish, he gets real particular with anything you do to take care of yourself honestly. (He won’t forget a single step no matter how complex either)

As for his own routine of going a little more into things most men don’t usually incline themselves to. He sees it as a good thing to go the extra effort of grooming to keep a presentable appearance. Honestly he didn’t care about any outside opinions on how he takes care of himself anyway, the insults slide right off of him. He won’t judge you either for not really wearing make up (why would he? That would be ridiculous)

If anyone trashes your appearance however, he’s going to make sure they’re taken care of personally with hierophant green.

Now if you compliment him that’s a completely different story, he’s ecstatic. Practically sealing your fate, as he’ll coast off your cute compliments for years to come.

When out shopping, he doesn’t really mind. He’d likely be the first to volunteer (practically no one else is able with how quick Kakyoin is). Offers to buy something nice to try if you hadn’t done it before, (or just need more).

thinking about sitting on kakyoin's lap while he's playing a game. you're settled on his thighs, arms wrapped around his neck while your head rests in the crook. he's distracted when you begin to fall asleep against his chest. red faced and fingers nervously shaking, he finishes his game, just barely winning, and then shakes your shoulder. you only groan at his gentle gesture, half asleep but fully groggy. he chuckles before scooping you up, face entirely flushed when your legs cling to his waist. kakyoin tucks you into bed, ready to head back to his computer when you grasp his fingers. his heart melts at your slow reaction time due to your sleepiness but how you still caught his hand. kakyoin will settle into the bed with you, cuddling you as you drift off again in his warm, secure arms against his sturdy, comforting chest
