kaito and kiyo ARE childhood friends and i stand by this

kaito teaches kiyo about the stars- they also share tea, as kaito thinks it makes him look philosophical, but he doesn’t like it much. i like to think that kiyo has basic knowledge about them and it makes kaito really excited about it- he also likes that he can make them an ~ expert ~

kaito doodles little planets and stars on kiyo’s masks. it’s a bit counterproductive, since kiyo thinks it’s the sweetest thing ever so they never wear the masks, but it’s the thought that counts. they hang up the masks in a separate part of their house because they’re special to them

i hc kiyo as nb, hope that’s okay, kork, but kiyo came out to kaito first and kaito was like hell yeah!!!! my gender neutral friend!!! and kiyo criedTM

kiyo always gets kaito the most oddly specific presents, they’re all obviously space related or thanks to some inside joke, but like. they basically give kaito artifacts(as in.. very vintage items, or literal artifacts) and kaito of course loves all of them, but he’s also like “?? where did you even find these??” kiyo never tells him.

on the other hand, kaito is the type who tries really hard to get kiyo a nice present, but he always ends up seeing one thing that they might like... oh, and that one, too. oh! that’s a cool one right there! and then he leaves the store with like 7 extra things for them. not to say that they don’t appreciate it, though.

listen. friends sharing clothes? amazing. kiyo has worn kaitos jacket before that’s ALL IM SAYING

kiyo is the one that gave kaito his slippers, and the two painted them together for his birthday. kaito wearing them for the first time was also the first time that kiyo genuinely snorted with laughter in front of him.

neither of them are that athletic, like, at all. on that same note, kaito really likes milkshakes and buys them for kiyo. they don’t drink the shakes that often, as it’s just not really something they’re into, but kiyo returns the favour and buys kaito tea, boba or not. not to be punny, but boba isn’t really kaito’s cup of tea either. both of them drink the other’s preference just for each other, but let’s say if angie bought kaito tea, he would probably spill it on the ground.

um. i hope that it’s alright that they’re so long, i just scrolled up through them and... i'm cutting myself off LOL WAOJERGJDFLKGJ i have a lot of danganronpa thoughts leave me alone, but i just love these two’s friendship as a concept :”) hope you like these kork!!! lord knows i can keep going if you want anymore!!!

Also Yeah, I have Kaito and Himiko's profiles done now, She's a Warlock now. In other words, She summoned Sol back from the Grave alongside Kirumi, Tsumugi, Kaito, Kiibo and her father(Sol's dad) and now Sol's Soul is split between Kirumi, Kaede, Tsumugi, Shuichi and Kaito- Like, Himiko, you fucked Sol up by pouring the Cupid liquor on her soul before, and making her fall in love with Maki, Tsumugi, Tenko and Kirumi at the same time.

Half this damn plot is due to Himiko playing with metaphorical fire, even if she's the most morally clean and technically legally Clean cast member. She fuelled the Flames. And then gets the get out jail free card from Maki and Tenko. Also yes her most Canon ship is Irumeno. They are in my Canon both the cleanest characters.

Also, they have very close ages in 15 and 16, In which Himiko turns sixteen a month before the Killing game.

Kaito is the Host for Elderberry, in other Words, The Sol in love with Tsumugi, This kinda makes him liker her as well.

He also Lacks the Braincell if You wanna know.

Kaito is still as upbeat as normal- he is however much more accepting of everyone than before, and that's due to the fact he has a Tooth and Blood monster residing in his body, so he really enjoys different things and likes to read sci-fi, due to having a Higher IQ, Sol makes Kaito smarter, and he can read intermediate to advanced level books, even the ones out of his perceived *expertise*. This is because I view Kaito as a character that while smart, forgets to study therefore doesn't know much outside his talent.

Kaito has two main play lists on his I-pod. One for Sol and one for him. Elderberry likes things from Snail's house, Moe shop and Hyperpotions- while he likes more a-team, gym pumping music. Also no- Maki hates Kaito because of his attitude, and Isn't aware of Elderberry vibing in his body. Similarly to Shuichi, having to Host a quarter of a Monster's soul has made his canines grow, and Chewing is harder than it used to be. Also yeah, The most Canon ship I'll have for Kaito will be Kaikiyo, that will be platonic anyways- Mainly due to the way I perceive the other ships involving them, That and they would have been left behind.

Quite honestly, though, My answer isn’t too different from Jjinomu’s, when she was asked about Meiko ships..I can’t really say I have a lot of top Kaito ships? Throw any Vocaloid ship at me and there’s a solid 90% chance i’m gonna be like “hey that’s pretty neat” Buut… Naturally… My top, Top Kaitodude ship.. Is Rorokai. Because Kaito is a supportive boyfriend for the sleep sword boi.

(VY2/YuumaKaito is probably on the same level, since I kind of see them as interchangeable sometimes. It’s hard to explain.)

I’m Also really into Kaito and Dex?? And also… Kaito, Dex, and Roro as a poly couple.. And Thanks to Jjinomu, I’ve got a soft spot for KaiKiyo..But aside from that?? I’m down for basically any Kaito “achillean“ ship, I just don’t have strong feelings for them.

• the two of them lay on a little hill and stargaze together and after they're done, sometimes kaito convinces kiyo to roll down the hill with him

• kaito once invited kiyo to his place and told him to bring just about everything he owns that might bring him bad memories. they ended up having a bonfire in kaito's backyard and burning all the stuff he brought. kiyo was highly hesitant to do it at first, but he felt much better afterwards

Although Ness’ pass wasn’t used, I don’t think it was entirely a waste either. He may not have directly helped Kaiser, but he did create an opening for him. And I believe it was also Ness stepping in at the last moment that the scales in Kiyora’s mind tipped towards Kaiser.

Also, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kiyora happened to give Kaiser a non-moving ball, which is exactly what Kaiser needs. Kiyora has been observing everyone this whole time. He’s seen Kaiser’s failed shot many times, and he’s also seen Ness repeatedly pass to Kaiser. He must’ve figured out what Kaiser and Ness have been trying to do since the beginning of the match.

Ness’ last pass was him trying to give Kaiser a ball that he can shoot. It was a good pass, but him being all focused on Kaiser made him fail to consider the enemies surrounding Kaiser. Even if Kaiser hadn’t ignored the pass, there was no path for the ball to go through. And with Kaiser no longer making irrational plays, as Ness wanted in a previous chapter, it was only right for Kaiser not to force it.

Kiyora passing to Kaiser was essentially making up for Ness’ weaknesses. Unlike Ness, Kiyora isn’t focused on Kaiser or any one player. He has a broader view of the field and can give Kaiser the exact pass he needed.

Now, for Ness to develop, he, like Kiyora, has to look beyond Kaiser. He doesn’t have to “abandon” Kaiser entirely. He can still choose him, but now he must be more rational about it.
