Inspired by many late, sleep-deprived nights at the office and cozy, weekend mornings when it’s hard to get out of bed,「 N E M U I 」is a domestic fanzine centered around the everyday lives of Kaiba and Jounouchi. This zine seeks to explore the things they may do together like going on dates, making breakfast, or even grocery shopping.

Q: How do people go about applying as an artist? Do they recommend themselves on the interest check or will there be an application later on?

A:  Depending on the results of the interest check, a formal announcement of the zine will be made. Once that goes out, an application will be put out ^^

Q:  It's stated that "All contributors will receive a full bundle of the zine as well as any added merchandise at no cost to them." Will cost be covered by sales, and what if sales doesn't compensate for everyone? Production might be cheap, but shipping (especially international) can be pretty costly. Thank you!

A:  In an ideal situation, the gross revenue from sales will cover both the cost of production and shipping. Since this is a charity zine however, after all those expenses are accounted for, the leftover money will be donated. Of course, with this fandom being much smaller, it's very likely that breaking even will be difficult or I (main mod) will have to go out of pocket to cover extra expenses. No matter which way we go (physical or digital), contributors will not be expected to pay for anything and their compensation will be in the form of a free zine bundle.

Q:  how high are the expected skill level for artists?

There's no definitive level of skill involved with this zine, but I encourage anyone who is even remotely interested to apply. A mixture of components such as background, style, composition, coloring, and anatomy will be some of the things I'm looking for when viewing applicants.

Q:  Can people apply if they've made problematic content before or is this Zine only for those who have only made Non-problematic content?

Anyone who is interested in the zine can apply, but since this zine is befitting a charity, submissions must be SFW and not problematic. Potential applicants will be vetted to ensure they are a good fit for the zine and its goal. If this doesn’t answer your question, feel free to DM
