I finished the series of chibi Psi love interests, which one is your favourite? Maybe you'd like to to see someone else in this style?

Kay's a bit different as he was the very first chibi I've ever done successfully. Could have changed him to match the others, but I like him this way, so I'm not doing that otherwise it's a commission

Also you can see I've changed the author's mark slightly. I needed it. Things happen, but it's still me

As I've recently gotten into Sherlock Holmes, and i adore Piece by Piece (by @sm-baby), logic seemed to dictate that only good things could come from combining the two :)

Introducing Knight's Gambit, a Detective Story!

The tale follows Weiss, a legal investigator, and his business partner Kay, a retired captain of the White Kingdom's army.

Their clientele consists mostly of those under siege of the Kingdom's legal pushback, and they do everything in their power to prove the innocence of those who were wronged.

Have you tried playing PSI on Romance Club?

Let's start with this: adventurous story in a post-apocalyptic world. Some toxic rain turned people into something else: empathy, aquakinetics, telekinetics, pyrokinectics, healers. A bit of Aeon Flux procreation problem. And the MC, telekinetic that will join the church police, all for havi in g better living conditions. MC has 4 friends and one "attachè". Dogan, Irma and Jonas (siblings), Toma (no binary character, I believe, but the writers seem to forget that being mentioned at the beginning of the story and call the person Tom for quite some time). Tina is the brat I called attachè. She's the younger, rough family situation, that tags along several times.

There's 4 love interest in the story. Kay Stone, Jonas Baer, Ivo Martin, Danielle Weiss.

The main LI is Kay: he's with MC most of the time. Empath. Partner at work, atune to MC. It's good that even if you don't want a romantic relationship, you both can be close friends. If you're not interested in him, the other paths open up.

Then there's Jonas the anarchist idealist tending to being a pacifist, and a healer. He seems to be angry all the time. It's like he's trying to take care of everyone and nothing is going his way. (The slow burn is killing me!)

Ivo Martin. He's nice to MC since the beginning, but we don't know if he has had his eyes on MC since the beginning or not. It's hard to read him. And he's my next LI once I play the game again. I wish this book was over so I could play it again and again.

Danielle is Ivo Martin's secretary. She's nice, pretty and it seems the writers put her there only as either a Love Interest or the stylist fairy godmother. Because so far that is the kind of interactions MC had with her.

Too bad Ivo looks like he's sick. The man looks nice.

Next update with season 2 episode 4 will happen only in April's first week. Too bad. I wish the updates were more frequent, but I guess there's too much on their plate as of now, since there's a lot of books going on.

The only other book I really liked playing was the fox legend one.

Defendant

Short story featuring @sm-baby's Piece by Piece world, Prosecutor Weiss and my oc, Kay.

Right after the court battle.

A/N: this idea has just been bouncing around for a minute and I wanted to indulge my own writing :] it's only like 300 or so words

The case had ended.

The jury placed their verdict.

Hushed chatter echoed in the courtroom as the defending lawyer held her head in defeat.

Weiss put on his hat and made his way toward the door.

As he exited, the guard at the door cleared her throat.

He kept his head down, hoping to avoid exess conflict.

"Prosecutor."

He sighed. "...yes, captain?"

Kay frowned. "I won't try to convince you of anything. It would be out of place for me to have done such anyway." She sighed. "Please...do not pass judgement on Lady Lyn for what has happened today. She's defending a guilty cause...but not by choice. She doesn't want to be involved in this. None of us do, really."

She shook her head. "Please, don't misunderstand. I'm not asking you to pity her." She let out a sad chuckle, half-smiling. "She'd probably kill me if that were the case. Matter of fact, if she found out I was saying any of this, she'd ignore me for weeks." She smiled a bit more. "Lyn is the strongest woman I've ever met."

Weiss raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? A knight, one of the kingdom's captains, no less, commending the strength of a pawn? I'm impressed."

Kay nodded. "I mean it, though, truly. She fought, tooth and nail, worked her way up from nothing, to get to where she is. We met when we were children....and even then, she was just as determined and strong as she is now. To call it admirable is a severe understatement."

She sighed. "I dont wish to waste any more time. But you're a respectable man, and I'm sure you know innocence and insight when you see it. All I hope to ask..."

She looked at the pawn still knelt on the court floor.

"Please, don't hate her for what she's been forced to defend."

Weiss looked at the captain, back to his opponent, then simply let out a thoughtful hum as he walked out the door.

"We shall see."

Weiss and Neptune, along with a surprise, visit Sun at his house to introduce an infant to him. "Aww, Neptune, he's cute!" Sun said as he is looking at a white-haired baby with dark blue eyes.

And that baby is Weiss and Neptune's son, Tristan. Though he does have a resemblance to his father. Only he has his mother's hair.

"How are you, Neptune Jr.?" Sun cooed at the baby. But Neptune corrects him. "Actually, he's Tristan." He said. Sun blinked, and that name is not what he had in mind.

"What?! You said he is gonna be Neptune Jr!" Sun protested.

"Well, that was before Weiss and I came up with another name. Since our first son, Tide, was born. It is now a tradition that our kids must have first names that begin with the same letter. Plus, it suits him." Neptune explains with a thumbs up, and Weiss gives a nod. But Baby Tristan folded his arms in dislike of his name.

"Aw come on! Why can't you pick something cooler?! Like Rocky! Or Rex! Or Rico!" Sun tried to persuade them to change the boy's name. But to no avail. The baby claps his hands in response.

"Umm, we'll think about it. For a middle name, at least." Weiss came up with the excuse.

"And congrats, Sun. You're an honorary uncle now." Sun blinks in surprise. "Whoa, really? I'm an uncle now!" Sun shouts happily. The baby also squealed in excitement as Sun let's him sit on his shoulders.

As Baby Tristan plays with Sun's hair, Weiss and Neptune smile that their infant son was taking a liking to him already. "And I think he would like to be best buddies with Kai too." Sun also has a son named Kai, who is also a faunus with his tail.

"I got it. From now on, we're setting playdates. Dad and Mom used to set us up for those when we were babies." Neptune thought of the idea for a while. Tristan was placed in a playpen with Kai. And already they get along with each other, like the brothers-in-arms. Playing with building blocks.

"That's not a bad idea. But maybe when we're not on missions. Or busy with work. It will take time to plan those out." Said Weiss as the three thought about talking about their friends about gatherings.
