I was tagged by the lovely @thequeenofthewinter to share five of my works. And then I proceeded to get side-tracked all day and I'm only now getting to it. :D But I shall tag @rainpebble3 and (breaking tes containment) @raine-kai anyway. (no pressure ^^) Taking a page from Winter's book I'll share the long-fic I'm currently working on. Snowflake's Chance - The fourth in my Connections series. Wherein Vilkas, Lewin and Copper wrestle with their soul-bond, struggle to stop Harkon from exerting power over the sun, and attempt to keep Vaermina from getting her hooks into Copper again.

If you like soulmates, smut, angst, and werewolves, this fic has got you covered. ^_^ The Dragonborn is a barely mentioned side-character in this one (Her story is the 2nd in the series. If you wish to read from the series beginning, Vaermina's Chosen is chronologically first but can be skipped if it seems it'll be too dark a read).

So, this one I'm still inordinately pleased with. I wrote this one-shot for International Fanworks Day 2023. Purple Lightning Among Werewolves. It's a crossover fic between The Untamed and Skyrim. I am a sucker for the angst-riddled man that is Jiang Cheng, and thought 'how can I make him suffer more?' And tossed him into Skyrim, where he is convinced to join the Companions and goes on a job with Farkas.

Have you ever wondered if Nazeem might be hiding something with his superiority complex? I have. So, I wrote a fic about it. It's canon to my Connections series but it can be read standalone.

A Listener is Found - It's a what-if fic. I asked myself: What if Saadia wasn't who the Alik'r were looking for? What if they were looking for an older Redguard woman? And what if that woman and her husband decided to trick the entirety of Whiterun into believing that they hated each other in order to protect her?

There's intrigue, Nazeem being his charming self, a run-in with Cicero, and someone forming a deep connection with Shadowmere. (and I have been told that I've made a Nazeem people can stomach, so there's that. :D )

Warmaiden

One of my favorite canon couples in Skyrim is Adrianne and Ulfberth. So, one day when I desperately needed a good dose of fluff, I decided to write them a one-shot meet-cute. So, fluffy it is.

And last but not least: Yet another fic connected to my Connections series that can be read standalone.

Of Lies and Love

A one-shot delving into the background of one of the OCs in Snowflake's Chance. Seanwen is the son of the Daedric Scholar Elante of Alinor, the youngest Grand Champion of the Arena, and on the day this fic takes place, he finally meets his father. Technically it's an Oblivion fic, (in case Elante of Alinor didn't tip you off), but it's post Oblivion Crisis, and you won't have needed to play the game to follow the story.

Writing Patterns/First 10 Lines Game

Rules: list the first line of your last 10 (posted) fics and see if there’s a pattern! (If you don't have 10, do as many as you have!)

This is an interesting one. Thank you for the tag @thequeenofthewinter . Looking over mine, there's a bit of a pattern. While I have a preference toward non-dialogue, all of mine tends toward trying to mold the scene by the character's pov/make it clear whose pov it is. Which makes sense as I most often write multiple points of view in my fics. Hadn't realized it had bled into my one-shots and short-fics but I don't mind.
