It's one for every important member of the Tower, let's see them in order;

This red one is for Hawthorne, that one human with the falcon, go with her whenever you need something for your clan... or to feed Louis, I love petting him. This one with the bullet it's for Banshee, he's our gunsmith... he forgets a lot of stuff but he does a good job. This black and white one is for the hunter vanguard, Crow. He's probably the only competent hunter in... the entirety of Sol and the cutest one t- haha... don't tell him I said that. The one with the two swords it's for Shaxx and his crucible, I don't really enjoy it but if you like throwing grenades, having big man shouting at you and shooting other guardians... please seek profesional help. This one it's for Ada-1, yes the Black Armory used to forge but she has chosen a fashionista path, so please abstain yourself from giving her weapons to fix, instead buy some of the pretty armor she makes! On the flipside, this green and gold one is for Tess Everis... between you and I... don't ever get things from Eververse, half the things aren't worth their price... just tell me and I'll make them for you. This one is for Kadi the postmaster, please make sure you don't have any mail accumulating with her... we don't have much storage space right now. The purple and red one it's for Ikora, she's the warlock vanguard and a pretty strong woman too... do me a favor, if she ever ask you about me: tell her I'm busy. This one with the fourteen in it, it's for Saint-14. He oversees the Trials of Osiris, but honestly I only go with him to feed pigeons with him. Oh this one is for Rahool the cryptarch... I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't know what a cryptarch does. This other one is for Zavala, you probably have seen him... or his shoulder armor at least. He's the titan vanguard and pretty much the one in charge of everything around here. This one with the nine in it, it's for Xür. He's only here on weekends, but he brings pretty neat things with him every time... also quite a chill dude to hang around. And this last one... -sights- this one it's for the Drifter and his gambit... look I'm obligated to tell you about his existence, but please avoid having long conversations with him, he's a bad influence.

Okay but I genuinely want to hear your answer to this question I found on the confessions blog (with all the F/F ships you ship from this show).

the real question one must ask themselves regarding every TD f/f ship is "which one would get randomly shot by a stray bullet in a gay-burying mainstream network show?"

buffy the vampire slayer is the only gay-burying mainstream network show i've watched but i'm gonna give this my best shot. put the ships in alphabetical order bc why not

betherra - could go either way tbh but im leaning toward beth simply bc sierra would go insane and try to destroy the world buffy the vampire slayer season 6 finale style

bridgney - it would either be bridgette for reasons mentioned above or courtney bc the show couldn't handle her sheer power and had to kill her off

courtnemma - again, emma bc courtney would destroy the world, or courtney to rip away whatever previous arc emma had of softening and opening herself up to love and to make her even more cold and jaded

dawnkota - dawn is 100% getting shot and dakota is in shambles but dawn comes back as a ghost with prophetic visions to further the plot. somehow she still never has a scene with dakota ever again

evzy - eva bc the network couldn't handle her butch lesbian swag

gwourtney - courtney bc the network would want you to sympathize with gwen over her. hardcore gwen fans would be like "my poor blorbo... so sad, all alone" and hardcore courtney fans would be like "SHUT UP MY FUCKING BLORBO DIED" and it would tear the gwourtney shippers apart

jasammy - sammy would so die. jasmine would grieve her for a while and eventually start dating shawn but it's done pretty well and they're a cute couple

jomaria - they would kill off jo and give anne maria a boyfriend the next season and it would suck

kadie - could go either way tbh

lesheather - leshawna bc every single season of td does her dirty. the backlash would be insane but some ppl would defend her getting shot bc it "gives heather a great arc" and the backlash to that would be even crazier. the show gets canceled halfway through the next season.

mkulia - mk bc julia has plot armor. julia would either go full villain or be devastated and all the other characters who hated her would start to feel bad for her and forgive her even though she doesn't deserve it and hasn't apologized, she's just grieving

nichaxel - nichelle so axel can go full angry paranoia doomsday prepper mode and everyone would use that as an excuse to bash her character

prillie - either priya gets killed to discourage millie from being vulnerable ever again or millie gets killed and priya tries to destroy the world but her friends talk her down and they all honor millie's memory together and it's actually really sweet

skyella - ella gets shot and says something like "but this was supposed to be our... happily ever after" and dies in sky's arms. next season dave tries to date sky while she's grieving and she attacks him for it. somehow they end up together in the finale. everyone hates it.

Idk if you still perceived them as a toxic relationship, I'm the one who thinks that the most healthy thing in a relationship is communication so I really doubt ksoo get enlisted bc he wants to and not telling anyone about it, I mean exo is a thing, his relationship with jongin is other, maybe he didn't tell the other members but Ji is something else in his life plus his dad just died almost a year ago. I kinda understand your point and your theory about ji's depression cus his disease is a fact told by him, but speculate everything is all about ksoo fault its fck toxic. Depression is not something you experienced from one day to another and can be caused by so many accumulated reasons that took years and years to understand and ksoo must know that tho do u think he's that cruel and go to the army without a reason knowing Ji could be really sad about it? Kadi just like any other couple aren't perfect they have their ups and downs and they certainly have their own flaws. Calling a relationship toxic just by one argument is wrong of you. This is not wonderland I think you should go seek medical help if you think like this.

Kadi in 2022 in March exactly, they were on a massive fight and had a break again and they even went to Couple Counseling and the old Fans of this Tumblr from the Instagram group know this already. I've seen kadi's name on their Couple Counselor's Chart with their names and IDs, it was a bad thing from that Counselling company as they sold the Info to Sasaengs easily, K-ExoL, when they saw Ji and Ksoo going there frequently alone separately were curious why were they attending couple counseling sessions? Do they have issues with each other or with someone else they know ? And hence they followed them dug into the subject and discovered this and unfortunately the info was leaked. Remember when Ksoo went to Hawaii alone? Well it was during that period of time they were on a break.

Couples fight dear. It's normal ! And most of the couple fights occur because of LACK OF COMMUNICATION.

So yeah ! Expecting a couple in a relationship of 14 years won't have any miscommunication or a fight is so dumb of you. We don't live in Wonderland ! This is life! It's normal it happens and this is what Ksoo did and unfortunately it's true and it was a no-going-back issue becos that's with the government it's military application. He himself regretted it later because he missed many good Movie offers and opportunities at that time, even his managers and SM's production team told him he messed up he acted in a moment of anger at that time, and going on hiatus due to military in the Epitome of his career is a very bad move and he was told that by Veterans and his friends in the industry and he admitted it to movie producers and Management teams in SM, and.it was a famous discussed subject. No idol wants to go on military hiatus when they're on the epitome of their career, but instead until they settle things down first then they go. Because Many idols and actors get a little forgotten and may lose their popularity after military due to the hiatus and some DON'T! which is why you see Baekhyun and all idols always anxious telling their fans "Please don't forget us! 😂 What’s the funniest comment someone has left on a fic of yours? I can't think of a specific one right now, but I always get a kick out of it when people accuse me of murder or yell at me in all caps or emojis because of feels.

🎶 What music do you listen to when you write? Very much depends on my mood and the mood I'm going for in the story. It's 99% instrumental, though, because lyrics distract me too much. My little pea brain can't deal with that much input lol.

✏️ What is your fave fic from another writer? Oooooh, so many! Off the top of my head, there's Kadi's "A Story Of Us" and lolcat's "Folie a Deux" and okaynextcrisis' "Build a Fence", but there are so, so many good stories out there.

I don't know if the community at large understands what an OC is anymore. Like. There's fandom OCs, where you create a new dude to live in an extant setting. There's fandomless OCs, where you create a new dude in either a new world or applicable to all worlds. There's OCs who were formerly canon related, such as when you were really into a franchise but ended up developing your original dude so contrary to later established lore that you just pull them entirely, or you so fell out of love with the source material you pack up a decade plus canon dude and start sanding them down away from the shit views of the creator. There's player character OCs, where you get to write your dude you played in an rpg. Many roads, same result.

Then there's some stuff I've seen recently that is baffling to me.

People filing serial numbers off of a popular FC's role and claiming that Blarbo, the 6'3" chainsaw wielding vampire clown whose FC is internationally recognized white man du jour Large McHugebig written for the Murderous Mimes of the Multiverse fandom, is totally different to Blorbo, the 6'3" chainsaw wielding vampire clown whose FC is internationally recognized white man du jour Large McHugebig, from the Murderous Mimes of the Multiverse film series. People can't actually think that's original content, surely. That's very clearly the same character with token adjustments. Why would you not just play Blorbo with some divergences or personal lore?

Or people who have purported to write OC concepts off of barely fleshed out canon elements, which is usually one of my fav OC bases... Except wait, that's literally a canon take on that concept from an extant adaption. Yes, Count Blorbinski's wife is an unnamed figure in the original novel, but the 1999 anime 'Blorbinski's Bouncy House of Doom' said her name was Blorbentina. How... Coincidental that your OC for Countess Blorbinski is also named Blorbentina. And has the exact same backstory and dynamic with the Count as from the anime. And you use the 1999 design for the Countess as her FC -- This isn't an OC, as much as you keep saying it. Bouncy House of Doom is one of the most popular anime out there too so how did you think this was going to work? Again, why would you not just play the 1999 version of this character instead of presenting her as your own creation?

More and more often I see 'ten years ago this would have been an AU/fandomless blog for a canon but today we pretend this is original content' blogs pop up. I feel like if I rolled up with a Calishite Warlock named Cal'aydin who was bonded to a wind spirit and was fighting depression after his brother's death as well as the forces of the BBEG, you guys would righteously call me on 'this is K*ladin St0rmblessed reskinned for D&D. You didn't come up with any of this.' But more and more I see 'original content do not steal' except? It's already extant IP with one or two concepts changed to suit the mun's tastes. Everything else remains very clearly the work of [insert household name creative of the 20th-21st centuries here.]

It amazes me how often I see these blogs pop up, and just how popular some of them are. I cannot wrap my head around it. Like, it's their blog, they can do whatever, as long as they're not profiting off someone else's creative labor it's not a big deal. But it is one of those 'has become more common in the community lately' things that makes me want to stand up and ask 'is anyone else seeing this or am I just going crazy?' I feel like I'm in the minority by not caring for this trend/new definition of 'original character' just based on how often these blogs cross my dash.

First 2 gotta go to Jerobeam Fenderson's Intersect and Function. Something about the sounds he uses to make his oscilloscope music scratches my brain right

Uhh the other 3 would probably go to The God Machines, Delicate weapon and the NCPD prowl from the cyberpunk ost, I've been listening to it since I started playing. Though as a bonus I associate these 3 tracks with AIDAN a lot lol :P

16. Favorite instrument?

The flute! I played it for 9 years before school got too busy for me to continue. I miss it a lot.. Honestly it's such an underrated instrument in my opinion, especially when it comes to the woodwind discussion since modern flutes are made out of metal!

You did get lucky timing-wise though!! A post I reblogged reminded me a lot of him and Kady, mostly in their differences in how they handle grief. AIDAN doesn't explicitly grieve, but when you start to read between the lines, he does.

I'd love to especially touch on olivia, because this example is the clearest one, I'll put that under the cut for illuminae files prequel (Memento) spoilers for those who would like to read it blindly!

At the very end of the book, AIDAN writes a 'letter' to Olivia's deceased father, just talking about what happened. Olivia died trying to harm AIDAN - even succeeding to a degree - until UTA marines took her out. Before this occurred though, she was wrecked by grief over her dad and lover who died in a freak accident just a few hours before her attempt on AIDAN. (Is that a sufficient word?)

Either way, before everything AIDAN did attempt to bond with her even though she rejected his attempts a lot of the time, but even while the Alexander was initially attacked in the Kerenza orbit, AIDAN checked up on Olivia, personally .

I don't think it's a huge jump to think he does mourn her sometimes.

I’m rewatching The Magicians because it’s been a while since I’ve seen it and it looks like Netflix is getting rid of it in January unless they decide to re-up randomly. And I only just finished season one episode three and I know some of my thoughts on these characters change over time in the show but it’s been so long so here are my character thoughts based on the first three episodes-

Quentin- he is such a nervous little doof and I do love him, he gives me like Shaggy having a nervous breakdown but who actually wants magic to be real vibes…

Julia- I know she gets better, but man I can’t stand her through most of not all of the first season. She acts like an entitled brat. Like yeah Quentin says some mean stuff about the magic stuff, but she wasn’t exactly nice either. Plus I know what’s coming and what she does by making him believe that he’s back in the mental hospital and that Breakbills isn’t real and like that’s so fucked up and just beyond cruel.

Alice- I give Alice grace because she is in mourning for her brother and from the way she talks about (and how I remember her parents) they suck. But she’s just so whiny. Like her trying to fix her brother I understand, but girl you were not close to fixing him, he was gonna kill you

Penny- he is such an asshole and I love him for it. Like don’t get me wrong, he needs a punch to the face, but asshole just works for his whole vibe and it works for me every time

Kady- I love you, you messy queen. I know you are being forced to steal but I don’t care, steal anything you want babe.

Eliot- sassy as I remember. I love him and I can’t wait for him to actually be in it as more of a character instead of just being there to be sassy and charming

Margo- my beloved. I don’t understand why Alice like hates her so much. The most Margo did was make like two just snippy remarks, and they weren’t even that bad. And maybe I’m biased because I have been a Margo stan from day one, but she basically tells Alice like try on this dress it will look great on you, ask her just in general about her day, and then helps her with her brother thing- and yeah she wants to tag along because she loves gossip but honestly I would want to know the tea too

Kadi’s compound looked a lot different than the last time Faus had seen it.

Sure, that was in the middle of the night and it hadn’t been set upon by a swarm of zuikos’i ships, but even then — Kadi had been busy in the last two months.

Well, whatever poor saps he nabbed and chipped had been busy. Kadi wasn’t the manual labor type.

He’d done some landscaping, too; where there used to be short desert grass was now barren, red dirt, hard-packed and unyielding. The light layer their landing had kicked up was already dusted across Faus’s shin guards. Go figure, he’d finally gotten a new set of armor since the last time he outgrew one, and it was already dirty before he’d even gotten the chance to break it in.

it really just is so interesting how much of this magic show is about saving magic which is an animating force for all life in the universe and is constantly on the verge of disappearing without ever being able to return
