Which eidolon character(s) nervously took an "am i gay" test as a teen
henry day-eastman number one with a bullet
harvey had figured his shit out by then, lavender had bigger problems, and solo had MUCH bigger problems
as for other people's characters. take this with a grain of salt, bc she's not on tumblr and I can't @ her about it, but I feel like Lexi would agree that this is a Kacey Chambers kind of thing to do

Tina Arena
An Australian music icon
Tumblr media
Tina Arena is a Melbourne born artist with an Italian background who began her career on the young talent time TV show hosted by Johnny Young. She was the longest serving cast member from 1976 to 1983 before reaching the shows age limit on her 16th birthday.
Following the release of her debut single and album Tina Arena released her second album don’t ask, which peaked at number 1 on the ARIA charts. This is still known as one of the biggest selling albums by an Australian female singer to date.
Tumblr media
This album truly defined my love of music at the time, and combined with Daryl Braithwaite’s rise album, represents the soundtrack of my childhood.
Despite all the success and accolades Tina Arena received for this album, her more recent reflections on this time in her life paints a different picture.
She had received multiple nominations in the lead up to the 1995 ARIA music awards and won multiple awards including album of the year, but was the first woman to do so. “How have all these women before me who have been pioneers of music not won an ARIA?”
For context the Australian Recording Industry Association was established in the 1970’s but the ARIA music awards began in 1987. Tina Arena was the only single female artist to win album of the year until Kacey Chambers and Missy Higgins both received the same award in 2002 and 2005 consecutively.
She then went on to release another successful album with in deep, recorded music in multiple languages and also performed at the opening ceremony for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
Tumblr media
This is where my knowledge of her music ended as I went off to explore other artists, but Tina Arena will remain one of my favourite Australian artists.
In a podcast episode with Jess Rowe Tina Arena went into detail about her experiences within the Australian music industry, tall poppy syndrome and even went as far as to agree with an acquaintance who had described the industry as a club of cowboys.
“I’m only prepared to go to a certain point. I will not sell myself. I just won’t. So to remain true to yourself is isolating because I realised a long time ago that you can’t fit into someone else’s perspective of you, you need to fit into your own.”
Tina Arena described how she walked away from the opportunity to gain global success within the music industry in the 1990’s because it would involve compromising on her authenticity. “Why are you telling me to be someone else when I am supposed to be me?”
Tumblr media
“I wasn’t prepared to play the bullshit game. I went “I’m not playing your game, I’m playing mine. Here are my rules. I’m fine with that.” I don’t need to play over there because where I play is a good space, it’s a happy space. I didn’t want to play in a space that I had no control over.”
She went on to describe how the music industry needs a massive overhaul, citing “what we’re seeing in America with Puff Daddy and all of that pandora box that’s opening.” Tina Arena also implied that the issues within the industry is something that she’s been talking about for years at this point.
“And kids, get your popcorn ready because you ain’t seen nothing yet.”
A tortured poet,

Uncoverable What "Uncoverable" song has a new artist taken on and totally owned?
Uncoverable What "Uncoverable" song has a new artist taken on and totally owned? There's certainly songs that are generally considered they are unable to be covered and do it justice.Such seminal works that it can't be matched, or songs so emotionally or biographically tied to the original artist that it's almost derespectful to try.Bohemian Rhapsody and Stairway to Heaven stand as obvious examples where some have tried but never come close to something new that stands with its own merit.Lose Yourself by Eminem fell into the uncoverable catergory due to both it's huge level of success and also it's semi-autobigraphical nature. It was not a song that anyone could or would take on. Until Lose Yourself by Kasey Chambers was released. Kacey absolutely smashed this one. She maintains respect to the original, while delivering something with so much power and an emotional delivery that makes it more than just a cover. She creates something special with a new life. It's more that just a cover and she totally owns it!So what other uncoverable songs was a band or artist brave enough to take on and actual deliver with something new, uniue and special? Your chance see Kacey Montoya, Lauren Lyster  showing off their sexy bodies, weekends. You may get lucky and catch Dayna Devon, Erin Myers and Ellina Abovian join in. Every Saturday & Sunday mornings at 8:38AM KTLA 5 Los Angeles Morning news, does a "stretch" segment. When Dayna Devon and Liberte Chan was doing it was very hot. The good news is they have Lauren Lyster & Kacey Montoya. Better news is Lynette is no longer there, was hard to see her stretch or even get up, even after the weight loss, just did not like her. Mainly because of her fake forever planted extra big smile, that wont go away even when she reported on some sad news. And they also have Pedro stretching now. He is a pleasure to watch. Anyways if you want to see Kacey & Lauren stretch, sometime Ellina will sub and she is also very cute. Lastly lets not forget the very voluptuous, cute and fun Erin Myers. Side note: Sam Rubin...please retire. You look so silly at this point in time in your life doing entertainment. Give someone else a chance at it. wait what did connor say that was based im not watching the stream rn lmao
OH hes been like goin Off on a Lot of the things in that Way he does but some Good shit is like
Talking about the latest 'cancelling' instances w schlatt and kaceytron. He'd say he like. With schlatt he Saw what it was and called him to tell him he fucked up. And w kacey that he doesnt know much but he like. Acknowledges that ppl have the Right to be angry and upset w her and Also Schlatt for the things they do and say.
But ALSO he goes into. How twitter as a whole tends to be self destructive and bad on 'all sides' in the sense that 'stan' cultures n Trends like. Either take things too far like w doxxing schlatt (which Also technically was doxxing him since they live together now altho it. Was the wrong address) or the death threats. And how sometimes stans tend to be all about like Hearts and Hugs and Kindness but will turn on their own friends for simply following schlatt.
N like. I guess in General how he Talks bout such shit n Considers it is Always fuckin great. Mans wasnt sittin here like 'well you shouldnt be mad at them' and also talks bout how there are Genuine Kids in stan twitter who r jus nice kids. But how Loud ppl are and it becomes an echo chamber in ways.
But ya. King

Okay but like, I need to know what song you sing for karaoke night with each of Pedro’s characters
Francisco Morales: Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler. This isn't just karaoke either, this is a PERFORMANCE. He sings it to you and to Santiago.
Marcus Pike: Vincent (Starry, Starry Night) by Don McLean, it's a bit melancholy but the bar is close to closing time and your little group are the only ones left. He's singing it more to you than into the microphone and he can't stop reaching out to grab your hand.
Marcus Moreno: We're All In This Together. He dances too. Never mind that the movie came out long before his daughter was born, Disney Channel is literally always on in his house since she was a baby and it's a catchy tune.
Pero Tovar: He doesn't know what this karaoke you speak of is but he will animatedly hum along to whatever you're singing in the garden as you read beside your olive tree.
Max Philips: Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. No, I will not elaborate.
Maxwell Lord: Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar. He does the dance too. He's into it. He loves it.
Javier Peña: Javier doesn't sing and certainly not in public but he'll gladly let you take him home for a private concert.
Dave York: Karaoke? You've lost your goddamn mind, he's not doing that. But you finally pout enough and ply him with enough tequila that he's flipping through the Bruce Springsteen selection before settling on Born in the U.S.A. He gets giggly in the Uber after because everybody misinterprets it as this great patriotic song but it's actually about how America fucking blows.
Oberyn Martell: You and Oberyn get wine drunk and rewrite the Rains of Castamere to be about teabagging Tywin Lannister. His brother hears the echos through the chambers and forbids either of you from uttering a word of it outside the walls of the castle. You teach it to all eight of his daughters who, in turn, teach it to all of their friends. Soon the entirety of Dorne is singing it. Small justice is still some justice.
Din Djarin: If you want to sing at the Cantina, he supports you. He will gladly help you with the lyrics so that you don't mispronounce and offend anybody. He loves the way the beat makes you makes you giddy. You can't see his smile but you can hear it when he asks you if you had fun. He knows you did and spends a few more credits for a few more songs to prolong your joy knowing the next mission will be longer and lonelier for the both of you.
Jack 'Whiskey' Daniels: You're Still the One by Shania Twain. He saw the way you watched that video of Kacey Musgraves and Harry Styles in New York over and over again so when y'all got a little drunk at the bar he decided to surprise you with his own rendition of it.
