Question about Martian Bartender (Al): is Al still half/part alien like in Supergirl? It'd be funny if he's nervously keeping this a secret from J'onn when J'onn is an alien himself.

Adding to this, would J'onn ever tell Al that he's a martian (not necessarily that he's a hero, but that he's an alien)?

That would be funny! But no, in my version Al is an average human. I like the idea of a superhero having the most normie love interest. J'onn being ready to love a human being feels like he's making tangible steps in seeing Earth as his new home. J'onn would eventually come out as the Martian Manhunter to Al, once he's ready.

and Al would take it well :)
